⭐ Facebook Short Version (Teaser)
The woman standing at the door wasn’t a stranger — not to Richard, not to Maya, and definitely not to Bella. Her eyes were sharp, burning with something between anger and desperation. Rain dripped from her hair as she stepped inside without waiting for permission.
Bella trembled. Luke moved closer. Maya whispered, “This isn’t happening…”
But Richard already knew it was.
The woman’s voice cut through the silence. “I didn’t leave her with you so you could hide her.”
Bella’s breath hitched. “Mom…?”
And just like that, the truth shattered the room.
Episode 2 begins.

⭐ Episode 2 — The Woman in the Rain
Word Count: ~1,520 words
The rain hammered against the roof like a warning. Richard stood frozen at the doorway, staring at the woman who had once disappeared without a trace. Her clothes clung to her skin, her hair dripping, her eyes fierce — the same eyes he remembered from years ago.
Bella’s mother.
Maya stepped forward, her voice trembling. “You shouldn’t be here.”
The woman ignored her. She walked past Richard, past the living room, past the stunned silence, and stopped right in front of Bella.
“Pack your things,” she said. “We’re leaving.”
Bella’s knees weakened. “Mom… I thought you— I thought you were gone.”
Her mother’s jaw tightened. “I’m here now.”
Luke moved instinctively, placing himself between Bella and the woman. “You can’t just show up and take her.”
She glared at him. “And who are you to stop me?”
Richard finally found his voice. “You left her. You left a letter saying—”
“I know what I wrote,” she snapped. “And I’m taking it back.”
⭐ The Storm Inside the House
Maya guided Nikki upstairs, whispering, “Stay in your room, anak.” Nikki nodded, eyes wide with fear.
Downstairs, tension thickened like fog.
Bella’s mother paced the room, her steps sharp and restless. “I didn’t come here to argue. I came to get my daughter.”
Bella shook her head. “Mom… I don’t understand. Why now?”
Her mother stopped. For a moment, her expression softened — just a flicker — then hardened again. “Because it’s no longer safe for you to stay here.”
Richard stepped closer. “Safe? Bella is safe with us.”
Her mother turned slowly, her voice low. “You think you know what’s happening, Richard? You don’t. You never did.”
Bella’s heart pounded. “Mom… what’s going on?”
Her mother looked at her — really looked — and Bella saw fear in her eyes. Real fear.
“We don’t have time,” she whispered. “They’re coming.”
⭐ The Name No One Wanted to Hear
Luke frowned. “Who’s coming?”
Bella’s mother hesitated. Then she said the name.
“Delgado.”
Richard’s face drained of color. Maya gasped. Luke stiffened.
Bella whispered, “Who is Delgado?”
Her mother swallowed hard. “The man I ran from. The man who wanted you.”
Bella’s breath caught. “Me?”
Her mother nodded. “He thinks you belong to him.”
Richard’s voice cracked. “You told me he was gone.”
“I thought he was,” she said. “But he found me. And now he’ll find you.”
Bella’s legs trembled. Luke steadied her.
Richard clenched his fists. “You should have told us.”
Her mother’s voice broke. “I didn’t want to drag you into this.”
⭐ The Decision
The rain intensified, pounding the windows like fists.
Bella’s mother grabbed Bella’s arm. “We’re leaving. Now.”
Bella pulled away. “No. I’m not going anywhere until you tell me the truth.”
Her mother froze.
Richard stepped forward. “She deserves answers.”
Maya nodded. “All of us do.”
Bella’s mother looked at each of them — Richard, Maya, Luke, Bella — and something inside her cracked.
She sank onto the sofa, exhausted. “Fine. I’ll tell you everything.”
Bella sat beside her, trembling.
Her mother took a deep breath.
“Delgado isn’t just a man. He’s a debt. A promise. A mistake I made before you were born.”
Bella’s eyes widened. “A mistake?”
Her mother nodded. “I owed him money. A lot of it. And when I couldn’t pay… he wanted something else.”
Richard’s voice was barely a whisper. “Bella.”
Her mother nodded again. “He wanted Bella.”
Bella’s world shattered.
⭐ The Truth
Bella’s mother continued, her voice shaking.
“I ran. I hid. I changed my name. I worked three jobs. I did everything to keep her away from him. But he found me last week. He gave me two choices: bring Bella to him… or he’d take her himself.”
Bella covered her mouth, tears spilling.
Luke’s jaw tightened. “He’s not taking her.”
Richard stepped closer. “We’ll protect her.”
Her mother looked at him, eyes pleading. “You don’t understand. Delgado isn’t alone. He has people. Money. Power. You can’t fight him.”
Richard’s voice hardened. “Watch me.”
⭐ The Knock
Before anyone could speak—
KNOCK.
A slow, heavy knock.
Bella’s mother went pale. “No… no, no, no…”
Luke moved toward the door. Richard grabbed his arm. “Wait.”
Another knock. Harder.
Bella’s mother whispered, “It’s him.”
Bella clutched Luke’s sleeve. “Don’t open it.”
Richard stepped forward, heart pounding.
Maya whispered, “Richard… please.”
He reached for the doorknob.
The house held its breath.
He opened the door.
⭐ The Man in the Shadows
A tall figure stood outside, umbrella dripping, face hidden in shadow.
“Good evening,” the man said calmly. “I’m looking for Bella.”
Bella’s mother gasped. Luke stepped forward. Richard blocked the doorway.
“You’re not welcome here.”
The man smiled — a slow, chilling smile.
“Oh, Richard,” he said softly. “I wasn’t asking.”
Bella’s heart stopped.
