Finally we get an episode that brought out the discussions of the viewers. I agree with most comments that proclaim little to nothing happened on this episode. However, look at all the discussion and close inspection it has generated. I’m just glad to see comments that break out of the normal submission of “I love this show so much”. 
I think the writers are still doing a wonderful job of presenting this story like slow blooming flower. The Mia character is such an inexperienced little fawn from the woods (Tunay na Dalaga siya) of course she will bolt when surprised with a kiss from Hari. Di ba dati, she has a history with SC where heart ache ran its painful course? SC may be a little like a bull in a China Shop in consideration of Mia’s feelings because he is a little blinded by his own feelings reawakening. So here is something I’ve pondered for the last couple of weeks. How tragic will it be if Mia gets the idea in her head that Richard is wooing her only to provide a needed mom figure for his kids. I hope it does not play out this way, I think it would be too heartbreaking to see her feel like that and deny herself his obviously true and developing affections. I hope we get to see SC warm up and express his feelings in sadness after the long frozen winter his heart must have endured due to the absence of his late wife. Anyone remember “My Binondo Girl?”, his character on that show was so two dimensional. I hope Richard gets the chance to represent.

 

So kapag sumama si SC kay Maya pauwi ng San Nicholas para sa birthday ni mamang, wala na dedz na ako. PAMAMANHIKAN NA ITO!

This episode made me really think of Maya (the whole day!). 🙂 I have to make a quick view of it this morning bcoz of an early schedule. I left and while 
driving i made a rerun of the episode in my head. I admit, I´m quite unhappy or sad with Maya´s reaction since yesterday. And I want to understand 
her reason. Those words she said during their phone conversation stucked in my mind. She´s afraid of something that is still not yet there? She´s 
confused, that´s how it shows. But if that´s the situation, why don´t she try to find it out. Manang Fe can sense something, and for sure she´ll love to help her. Also, as a flashback, there´s an episode where Maya advised Kute to talk to someone about what´s bothering her, di ba? Why not do the same? Bakit pinipigilan niya ang sarili niya everytime she´ll try to open it up to Kute? If we´re confused and want to understand something, we´ll try to confide it to a friend or a family member. Is it not the right way to deal with it instead of keeping it to yourself? And anyway, she´s trying to convince herself that it´s just a friendly kiss. So, why making it difficult for her? And the kids, they´re puzzled too the way Maya is reacting now. And poor Eman, I honestly felt bad for him. Isn´t it unfair? Not to tell him how Richard appreciated/complimented her? Sad that Eman didn´t even learn how proud and appreciative Richard is. 

I also felt bad for Richard. Confused and puzzled too the way Maya is reacting. And I guess he don´t need a hint just to know what´s going on with 
Maya. He´s that kind of a person, and Maya knows that too. Direct to the point. And knows how to handle a serious situation. And for Richard, this is 
something serious. He maybe shows too much affection, because he´s been out in that kind of world for a long time. The world stops for him since that 
loss. And now, he find the way back with Maya´s presence. He realized that it´s not impossible to have it again. And found it with Maya. He loves 
the excitement that this feeling is giving to him. He knows exactly what going on with him. Stayed in the morning for a while with a hope that he´ll see her before leaving. Being so excited to be home, hoping that he´ll meet Maya there together with his children. Only to be disappointed. 

Of course I also felt sorry for Maya. She can do it better. Di ba nga, she´s special in her own way. But she don´t know that. Richard needs to let her know that. I just hope that Maya will realized soon that, it´s a waste of time hiding and avoiding Richard. Be strong to face him and talk about this thing. Anyway, it´s all about Richard and her.

I like how direct Sir Chief is and Maya is annoyingly pakipot pa. You will become an FA soon and things like that should be handled with poise and grace. If you’re confused try to get somebody else’s opinion like Kute or Emman if you can’t ask Sir Chief directly…I just feel like we’re going in circles…anyway, I hope to see developments and “kilig” scenes over the next few days…Manang Fe, since you are the voice of reason, kindly help these two ❤

I am enjoying this journey of Maya and SC. The way the writers are presenting us the conflicting state of mind of the two main characters and the main source of possible conflict in their relationship if ever they will get there. This is how I see it, Daddy Singkit, being the dominant of the two characters is in a fast pace stage. He expects everybody to follow him because he is a dominant leader and because of this he forgot that what he wants from Maya at this stage in no longer a business deal but an emotional and personal relationship. He failed to be considerate and totally forget the reality of the situation. He need to take a few steps back and take time to think it thru. He needs to ask himself why Maya is reacting this way? 

On fairness to Maya, she actually dealt the problem in her own usual way. I love the way the writers used the old adage ” Kung aakyat ka lamang at malalaglag ka, mabuti pang sa lupa ka na lang ” Sinabi niya ito directly to Daddy Singkit ng diretsahan. Thru this she was actually telling him of her fears. She doesn’t want to enjoy that moment because she’s afraid that it won’t last and she doesn’t want to assume anything because she doesn’t want to get hurt. Kung hindi makuha ni SC kung ano ang ibig ssabihin ni Maya sa phone conversation nila, then , I believe na makasarili siya.He’s not being considerate of Maya’s feelings. 

Another angle that I have observe is the way Richard talks to Maya on the phone when he called her to ask if Abby can visit her. Sobrang napaka-controlling and dating. Wala man lang pasakalye, walang tenderness na pinapakita and that’s not the way a man who have a special feeling for someone would talk and act. Baka nga nadala lang talaga si Ser Chief sa effect of the Little Black Dress, at baka tama si Maya, that kiss is just a beso-beso between friends. 

A piece of advice for Maya, hanggat hindi sinasabi ni Cheif na ” Mai-mai mahal kita” huwag mong bibigyan ng kahulugan ang goodbye kiss na ‘yon. Kailangan talagang clear yong usapan para alam mo kung saan ka lulugar. I can’t wait for that episode na mag-uusap na silang dalawa para may kilig moments uli:-)).

i dont know about you guys..but I think Maya’s trying to avoid SerChief is the result of her confusion.kung akala natin si Serchief ay dense..ganun din si Maya..hindi rin ma process pa kung anong feeling nya for him. remember wala pa syang experience when it comes to falling in love..yung crush nya..pwedeng di pa rin nya na realize na nag -evolve na into true love. unconsciously..in denial sya…while SerChief, on the other hand..na ang hirap naman talaga basahin itong mama na ito..i think he’s more aware now of what his feelings are for Maya and he’s ready to take the next step to level up or deepen the relationship..those who have gone through the whole package of falling in love can relate to what’s going on between the two..di naman sila teenagers like Luke and Joey who are more eager and adventurous to experience for the first time what falling in love is..whereas, more cautious naman si Maya and Serchief sa feelings nila..because they both know that committing into a relationship entails certain responsibilities and consequences that will not only affect them but also the people around them. this drama series is showing us the different level of maturity of getting into a relationship..exciting naman di ba..just enjoy the ride..let it take you back when you were starting to fall in love:))

they are building up the story pa para naman mas maintindihan natin ng husto at makarelate din tayo sa POV ni Maya so let us not expect that all of the sudden there will be a confession from Ser Chief and that Maya will readily accept to be in a relationship with him. baka nga di na mag confess si Ser Chief at basta na lang he will make Maya his woman or GF for that matter. di ito nalalayo sa character nya as a very decisive and calculating businessman. dagdag pa na napaka-impatient nya with no time for trivialities. although merong konting pagbabago naman lately yet he remains to be the type na dapat laging sigurado at walang paligoy-ligoy kung dumiskarte like for example how he just suddenly decided to go after Maya in San Nicholas kahit kandahirap kumuha ng plane ticket for 4. at the end he got what he wanted so somehow alam natin kung ano ang kakayahan nya and how he does/sees things his way.
another thing is he already knows Maya’s feelings for him. hindi lang level of crush pero sigurado syang love na kasi di naman yun itinanggi ni Maya when he eavesdropped sa conversation nila Maya, Doris and Sabel while the former was teaching the other two how to make Ser Chief’s coffee. di nga ba kaya masarap si kape eh dahil may halong pagmamahal. ang sa akin lang parang since given na yun kay Ser Chief pwede nyang akalain na by being extra attentive and generous with his compliments Maya will take the hint na he also likes her as a woman. kaso baliktad kasi Maya took a hike instead dahil sa pagkalito kung ano ba meaning nung kiss, hiya dahil she let him kiss her without asking the WHY and takot dahil baka sya lang ang nag-iisip that they have moved on from being just a mere former employer-employee or friendship relationship. nakalimutan ni Ser Chief that Maya is very much unlike the sophisticated women he dines out with like Stephanie, Atty G and even Ina Ruiz who sought him out. all these women knew how to score and play the rules of the game kaya ni isa sa kanila hindi umiyak when nothing came out after their dates. pero si Maya iba at sigurado ako that Richard has never dated anyone like her.
ngayon pa nga lang kahit alam ko na later on may kilig sa love story nila i still feel sorry for Maya. it is very torturing when you are unsure why all of the sudden your former boss even if he is your almighty crush would suddenly took liberty of kissing you on the cheek without explanation. nakaka distract sobra yun. lagay na natin na alam din ni Maya kung san sya dapat lumugar. of course there will be issues of insecurity. it will be an irony for someone very positive like Maya who even after all the hardships still sees the world in rose coloured hue would find herself inadequate to be the recipient of Richard’s love. later dito natin ma-test how Richard will be able to assure and prove to Maya that she is the one for him.
advise lang, let us all take it easy and enjoy the ride watching the show. wag natin madaliin na maging sila na kagad then find ourselves watching them bicker almost every episode because Maya has not gotten over her insecurities while Ser Chief had enough of her dramatics. lam nyo naman ang pamilya Dela Rosa puro mga acting awardees. maige na clear muna nila lahat before they embark into a relationship where both knows what they want from it and why they are in it. sabi yun si ser Chief ha kopya ko lang. exciting sigurado mga susunod na episodes kaya enjoy watching the show na lang dapat tayo.

Teka teka… Eman…si eman na walang kamalay malay sa nararamdaman ni Maya sa episode na ito nadamay. “Ok lang!” Yun lang ang pwedeng isulat ng writer para suklian ang effort ng besty nya? Cmon writers! You can do better than that, nag mumukhang ingratang tuliro ang karakter ni maya!

Actually that’s what I really love about this show. TV series normally just follow a format. But just listening to their audience and responding accordingly and reasonably to their views without being too reliant, takes a lot of discipline so I really applaud them for that.

Parang alien lang na nakikipagcommunicate indirectly.  Talagang nagpanting ang tenga ko nung narinig ko yung fried bananas  it’s like their way of saying “Hey, we’re here. We’re watching you.”

So in Mayaa’s defense, I’ll try my best to keep an open mind and step outside the box. I just happened to come across some video clips of when Richard and Maya had that huge fight before the holidays. She had some flashbacks on how Richard used to interact with her in the beginning. He was short tempered with her and sometimes border line insulting. Even if the transition was slow, I can sort of see why Richard’s recent interaction with her can be confusiing. Especially with sudden increase in affection/attention. If I was in her position, I would probably be thinking do any of these have any meaning. During her phone conversation with Richard it was obvious that she was being passive aggressive and trying to hint him that all of these changes are worrying her. She doesn’t want to have high expectations, so that at least if things don’t work out the way she wants to, it wouldn’t be that disappointing. Luckily, Richard was quick to pick up on that. Just too bad they didn’t have enought time to talk about it in details. What I’m really NOT liking so much is, if she’s this confused, then why not talk to anyone. It’s clear that she wants to but she just keeps on holding back. Well, at least talk to Kute about it. She’s her sister for cyring out loud. She used to tell her everything. Why stop now? It would greatly help her to get other people’s insight so that she can see the situation on all angles. People had mentioned it’s because she doesn’t want to make any premature conclusions, but isn’t this what she’s already doing? Which is too bad, cause she’s already assuming the worst. Instead of talking it out. That’s what adults do. If there’s something we don’t understand, we talk about it. Sweeping the issue under the rug will not resolve anything. I apologize if there’s frustration in my tone. Because I am. Maya needs to do what she preaches. When Kute was having issues with Jeff, she advised her that she needs to face it and avoidance would just prolonged the inevitable. I know one of Maya’s revealing quaity is her intelligence. Please figure this out. Luckily, Manang Fe is very observant. By the looks she was giving Maya, I believe she’d figured out what’s going on with the two. Seems like she’s just waiting for Maya to voluntarily open up. Manang Fe is never the kind to give unsolicited opinion but if asked, she’d be gladly to provide guidance. Even the poor kids and Eman are baffled with how Maya’s been acting. I also didn’t like when Maya tried to downplay Richard’s reaction when he saw her at the prom. Poor Eman…he must have felt like his effort went to waste and Richard is now perceived as not being appreciative of Maya/Eman’s effort to make her look beautiful for that special occasion. Unfortunately, Maya just made Richard look bad. 

Richard, the total opposite of Maya. Such a shark when it comes to business and very assertive on other things. And that is why, he didn’t beat around the bush. He directly asked her, “Are you avoiding me?” Which is good. This is a start. At least one of them is addressing this. I hope he’ll take the time or will be given a chance to explain what is going on. A little reassurance from him will surely change Maya’s mood. I have to admit, I felt bad for Richard when he didn’t get a chance to see her. The man was so excited and you can strongly sense the disappointment. Looks like to me he’s dealing with the consequences of what had happened in the past. Had he treated Maya better in the beginning, this wouldn’t be as confusing to her. What’s good about Richard is he does make things up. He did it with his kids and now he’s making a lot of effort to make Maya feel important. Now that the kids are ok, he’s putting Maya in one of his top priorities. With this new found happiness and of course because of Maya, the man is even reconsidering getting married again. That says a lot from someone who didn’t seem to believe in love anymore. From the sound of it, especially Luke, they children also understand that their dad deserves to be happy. I like the way Richard sort of defended Maya when Ryan referred to her as a “chic”. She deserves to be called a “woman”. Even Ryan notices right away, that Richard is serious about her. I hope Maya will too soon.

Di niya tuloy alam kung mage-expect siya or na-misinterpret lang niya yung kiss. Siguro she’s just afraid of the possibility na ma-disappoint (like what she explained sa case daw ni mamang). To avoid the awkwardness, iwas na lang kay SC.

Due to the public demand, ABS-CBN announced that starting September 15, an additional time slot of episode reruns will air every Saturday called, Be Careful With My Heart: Sabado Rewind. “Be Careful With My Heart: Sabado Rewind” airs at 10:30 a.m. (PST). However, after its first run, “Be Careful With My Heart: Sabado Rewind” aired at 10:00 a.m. instead. The series has been extended for one year run due to its popularity, presumed to end on June 2013. However, on February 2013, the producers have announced that they will extend the show for another 6 months, with the finale on December 2013.

I love it. Gusto ko itong medyo bitin dahil I can let my imagination run free. Ang sarap ng feeling kung ‘yong ini-imagine mo na scene ay magkatotoo, para ka ring naka-uno sa exam:-)). 

Nagsisimula na talaga ang ligawan at si Daddy Singkit pursigido na talaga. Declaring that he doesn’t paly around and doesn’t take no for an answer. This is actually consistent doon sa episode noong lumipat si Maya at inihatid niya si Maya with Abby. Merong scene doon na sinabi ni Abby na hindi siya puwedeng maging Girlfriend ni Ehman. SC actually stated that time na ” Na hindi mangyayari yan baby. I’ll make sure of that.” Base on that scene at idugtong itong episode na ‘to, I can conclude na pina-plano na talaga ni Daddy Singkit na liligawan niya si Maya the time na pag ka-alis niya sa mansion.

Parang wala ka na talagang lusot Maya, you have to face the music. Teka, meron pa palang lusot, nag-lalasing na lang para hindi responsible kung ano ang masasabi. What will happen in the next eps? Dadalhin kay ni SC sa mansion ang Mayang lasing? Careful Daddy Singkit, baka mademanda ka ng sexual harassment niyan :-)) Happy weekend everyone!

Maya’s reactions to the recent events are normal for a girl from a generation or two ago. Back then the rule is “filipino custom – no touch, definitely no kiss” unless you are engaged. That is alien to most girls now because they take the first guy that comes along. I guess because the world has more girls now than guys, they are afraid to wait for they might miss the bus, and it is a very grave possibity that they might. Again, it´s just the continuation of “hiding and avoiding” episode. Worrying too much of something that is normally not yet there. Maya is really being unfair to herself. And also to Richard. I mentioned before that Maya has a different ways of handling a problem, she always have a brilliant idea of solving it. . She can do it with her eyes close. And she never did wrong with helping Lim Family to get back the life for them. Life that was lost for a long time. She´s the reason of what they are now. She´s an inspiration to everyone in Mansion bcoz of her being so positive. That´s why they love her, and that is what amazed Richard. Because of her way, Richard witnessed how she is and what she is. Not because of the effect that little black dress left. 

What Richards doing is not to please her because of what she did to the kids. Richard stepped out and with both arms he wants to share it with her. One huge step going to her world. He wants her to feel what she gave to him, he wants this happiness with her. He have it back again because of Maya. And he knows exactly what he wants. He wants to have a date with her, make her feel that she´s special for him. Court her the way the other men are doing, he´s maybe not like others, what women are looking for when it comes with courting. But he kept on checking on her, sending messages, making her feel that she´s important. He was disappointed when they didn´t met in Mansion, he was worried when Abby thought that she has a problem. Maya should realize that he cares for her, she should not be afraid of anything because she, herself knows him well. It was her words, best Daddy, best Boss, best crush, di ba nga? She should not worry that things went wrong with him, Richard Lim is a very well known man, very disciplined when it comes to work, women are running after him. but nevet get advantage of that. 

Maya has a big part from all of these changes, she´s the reason, she´s their inspiration, she touched Richard´s heart with her special way. Now it´s time for Richard to gave her back. But with Maya´s reaction? How he can able to do it if she´s building a wall between them. Richards gestures and smile tells a lot. the real Maya should see it . She´ll love it more. I mentioned too that the writers has always something for us to make it more exciting and worth waiting. I just hope that this “hide and seek” episodes will not take so long?

I love it that Sir Chief is admitting his feelings toward Maya, but at the same time he wants it to be just between him and her. I can’t imagine how Maya feels right now as she had step down as being Sir Chief’s employee and now he wants to pursue her as his future wife. Wanting to assume that Sir Chief truly have feelings for her, but at the same time fearing that she’s assuming something out of nothing. LIke Sir Chief said he doesn’t play around so here it is and Maya dosn’t really know how to handle it and her family who the only one she can actually talk to is so busy with business. She tried to talk to Kute, but got cut shor because they had a customer, then nanay call but also to busy cooking. Emman is their but she didn’t want to talk to him about her personal life like Sir Chier didn’t want to share with his long time friend. Maya tries to Kabit Bisig but it’s to much for her to handle. I know everyone is excited for each episode so I understand the frustration dahil sa daylight savings time the upload delay is now 2 hrs instead of 1. I used to stay up until 12:30 am, but since I cannot stay up until 1:30 – I just watch it pag-gising sa umaga 4:00 am ;( Unless gawing simultaneous yong tfc.tv upload ng show with showing sa Philippines will always see it na parang myron 2 hrs delay instead of the usual 1 before DST…

I think I’m getting pass my frustrations. I’m looking at these past previous epidsodes, including this one as fillers. This show is setting up scenarios for awesome moments that are about to happen. I know these writers still have some creative juice left in them. They are still i for the long haul. If Maya is not going to enjoy this experience, then I will. 

But seriously though, I’ve heard enough of “I don’t want to assume anything…” WE GET IT! Over analyzing everything will just make the situation worse. If Maya really doesn’t want to “assume”, then let it go. It is what it is and no reason to makeup excuses. Like I mentioned before these past episodes are just not consistent with Maya’s character. She’s smarter than this. Her too, is very witty and quick to think on her feet. This is one of the qualities Richard like about her. I just hope the show will give her character justice soon. I remeber that thing Richard mentioned before. “Maya is very resuorceful. She always finds a solution to any problem. I’ve never met anyone like that before. It’s almost too good to be true…” I want that version of Maya back. 

When Richard gets asked a question and he gives you a smile, that usually means YES. He wants to date Maya..YES. He’s serious about her…YES. The intentions are already there. He’s a modern day man. Richard may not have the same strategy as Simon when it comes to courting, but that doesn’t mean he cares less for Maya. There is no right and wrong. These two men just have different ways in expressing how they want to pursue Maya. Ever since Maya moved out, Richard had been pretty much consistent with keeping in touch. And consistency from a man is very important, if I must say. He is now waiting up on her versus before when he wouldn’t even give Maya the time of the day and often cuts her off. And most importantly, he makes every effort to make Maya feel special. Not that he needs to, it’s because he wants to and that’s how he feels. Maya doesn’t really have any reason to doubt Richard whether or not he’s serious about her. What he said to Ryan is true. He doesn’t play around nor have any history of playing around. It’s not like he’s dating girls left and right. It was mentioned before, woman are after him where ever he goes, but he doesn’t pay attention to them. That is just a waste of time for him. Maya telling him that she’s busy was just a lame excuse. Too busy to give a 3 second reply? Seriously?! Here’s a man who runs his own company, in a middle of a project, works on weekends and a single father of three. Yet, he found time to check up on Maya. I’m just wishing Maya would be fair to him. If truly, she doesn’t want to assume, then she needs to let him show what he’s capable of doing in terms of loving her and see where it goes. Avoiding him, will deny him of this chance. He’s finally reciprocating all of Maya’s effort in caring for him from the beginning. Letting him doesn’t mean that she’ giving in or that she’s being “easy”. It just gives both parties the chance to show eachother what they have to offer. Isn’t this the purpose of having the “courtship” stage? In my opinion, Richard has already started the process. Before Maya came along, Richard was drowning. He didn’t think it’s possible for him to be happy again. Maya brought him back to life and gave him reasons to smile again. She gave him hope. I hope she wouldn’t be the same reason for him to go back to that dark place and regret opening his heart again. Richard may be the dominant one, but truly, Maya has the upper hand. She’s in full control. 

Hopefully, next week would be better. I miss the chemistry between these two characters and their antics. I miss the real Maya….

This is so unlike the Ser Chief that we met several episodes ago. Yong masungit, suplado, dense, at pagong. Ang nagagawa nga naman ng pag-ibig!

Nakakaiyak na makita na this time, si Sir Chief naman ang kumikilos. His every smile, every peek sa phone to check if Maya texts or replies sa text nya, his somber expression showing that he remembers Maya every now and then, and now, he’s finally asking her out, not because of Abby but because he simply wants to spend time with her.

Also, Maya’s reaction only proves how deeply she feels for Sir Chief. She can just easily shrug off the displays of affection of men, as per Simon and James. But this time, it’s different. It’s Sir Chief, after all. If you really think about it, it only goes to show that Maya really cares a lot about what SC feels for her because she too feels for him. And that’s no secret to all of us.

If Sir Chief is really serious about pursuing Maya, kahit ano pang iwas ni Maya, he will

make a way to get his message across. I think that’s the ultimate love’s test SC should pass with flying colors.

 

Maya has every right to be chased and wooed. It’s as bright as the sun that she likes Sir Chief. Si Sir Chief, ngayon pa lang nagpapakitang gilas.

Kung noon, kay SC tayo frustrated dahil tila one-sided love lang ang meron sila, ngayon naman keri ng frustrated muna tayo kay Maya habang patuloy namang pinatutunayan ni SC na he is indeed, in love with her. And nothing can stop him from showing that, kahit pa ang hard-to-get na si Maya.

I love how Sir Chief stopped Ryan when he used the term “chick”. Maya is obviously “special” to Sir Chief and the Lim Family…How “special” only Sir Chief knows but I think it will be revealed shortly ❤ There will be a lot of kilig and damoves but my gut feel is telling me Sir Chief will “formally” court Maya after her graduation ❤ It’s also good to know that he’s not closing his doors into marriage. 

Regarding Maya, she’s still annoyingly avoiding Sir Chief. Ok, we try to understand how confusing it is for her but this is beyond what a 25 yo adult does. I feel like the story is becoming too “pa-tweetums”. If you can’t make sense out of it, then ask someone like Kute or Emman.

Now with next week’s teaser, I hope she gets the courage to finally face, talk and ask Sir Chief. Looks like wine tasting class will help her speak up 🙂

I am not sure of the self esteem issue. Medyo founded kasi na ang personality ni maya is hindi papaawat at assumera.
Pero somehow sa character development nangyari yung major tampuhan nila ni SC. I think ito yung nagtrigger na magsetup ng emotional wall si maya which she clearly expressed during her monologue dun sa puno nila aleng teresita at mang arturo “yung mag-isa ka nagmamahal pag nasaktan ka magisa ka rin”
Transistion point rin to para sa character ni SC since dito narerealize nya yung tunay na feeling nya para ke Maya.
Kahit nagbati sila very visible na hindi na rin back to normal ang relationship nila. Which has become the polar opposite nung original character nila.

Now andito na sa point na its time for SC to break that emotional wall na sya ang nag-cause.
SC needs to re-assure Maya and clearly establish yung totoo nyang feeling for her.
As of now all positive signals na nag-uumpisa na ang ligawan.

 

Well self-esteem issue in the sense that she finds it hard to believe that for one, she’s “easy to like”, two, she’s “beautiful inside and out”, and three, that she’s a “very attractive woman”.

Lahat ng yan nanggaling na kay Ser Chief pero parang di pa rin makapaniwala si Maya.

And I agree dun sa summit incident na talagang bumaba ang self-esteem ni Maya dun. Since then and especially now, kailangang paniwalain naman nya si Maya na hindi imposibleng mainlove sya dito.

This time, SC would be better off saying, “Why is it so hard for you to believe that I could fall for you?”

Baka mamaya niyan maapakan pa niya si SC at mas malala si SC ang masukahan niya at ang bmw I hope they get to show SC’s caring side kay Maya here. Hopefully din sa condo dumeretso at wala si emman

grabe….. talaga kung hindi late mag upload ng show bitin naman ngayon. bakit 23 min lang????? every friday na lang na episode maganda pero sobra bitin talaga. sana lunes na ulit hehehehe anyway kahit bitin 5 stars pa rin kasi i love this show…….SUPER kahit puyat at may pasok ok pa rin…. lol kasi adik kundi ka lang gwapo richard yap di kita pag pupuyatan na pannoorin talagang bagay kayo ni maya.

Yun pagiwas ni Maya, imho, normal lang naman kasi its a shock to her to be bombarded by extra affection, compliments (“id say that you’re a very attractive woman”, “you’re amazing tonight” etc) at yun kiss especially from the person she’s been secretly in love with (love nga ba or crush lang talaa?) di niya kayang ihandle coz she’s never been in a relationship pa. i just hope na di naman masyadong patagalin (which based on the teaser, parang di naman ata)

We, viewers cannot fully essay the degree of positive vibes that you are planting in us:))) I am sooooo excited for the formal ligawan, as well as to see the reaction of Sir Chief’s kids once they’ve known their Dad and Maya’s blooming relationship:))). I just hope that this show will reach that moment when the 2 will tie the knot , and they will eventually have more and more chapters in their lives as married couple in this great show. i truly love Kute’s character in this series..acting as the concerned older sister in her own funny but no nonsense way. i found her reaction to the kiss hilarious esp when she knew it was just a kiss on the cheeks.,,it was priceless..Maya’s confusion level i still very high..while SerChief’s intention are still an enigma to me..the writers I think is slowly unfolding and tying up the loose ends of this hide and seek / Tom and Jerry scenario between Maya and SerChief,,not much kilig in today’s episode,,but the scenes are building, the tension rising and its’just a matter of time for the great revelation..that will lead to the death of us all due to overdose of Vit K..ha ha ha ha..kaya kapit bisig mga kabisyu baka hindi natin kayanin ang susunod na kabanata:))

I love the part when Maya was telling Kuti about the kiss. Kawawa naman si Sir Chief na disapointed siya nuong hindi siya maka alis, but as a good father he knew that he needed to stay for his son. Even though he looked forward all day to see Maya. Kilig parin dahil consistent and story line nila they make it real. Like the reality that things will come up when you have plans especially when you have kids. Sir Chief went 🙂 to 😦

Feeling ko naka-uno na naman ako sa exam dahil tumama ako doon sa viewpoint ni Maya. Kaya lang hirap tantiyahin ang kay Daddy Singkit ha. 

In this episode I noticed that he got disappointed na na-udlot na naman ‘yong pagkikita nila, kaya lang bakit hindi siya truly honest to Manang Fe and the kids when they ask him where he’s going. He knows that Manang Fe is hugely in favour of Maya for him.So he could at least cofide with Manang Fe that he kissed the girl and he likes it. Kaya kailangan niyang puntahan ‘yong girl para malaman niya kung nagustohan din ng girl yong kiss niya. I know that sometimes, if you have something special going on with someone, you would like to keep it secret between the two of you for a while. But in his case, it’s different. He can’t really keep this as a secret with his family because the object of his affection is already treated as part of the family. 

I feel that SC broke the primary protocol na pinapasunod niya sa kanyang mga anak at iyon ay ang pagiging honest at open to each other. Parang mali yata ‘yong magsisimula ka ng serious relationship with someone na who is already close sa family tapos tinatago mo sa pamilya mo. dahil magta-tampo sila in the end. Concern kaya si Daddy Singkit na hindi matanggap ng mga anak niya si Maya as their Step mom? Or maybe the writers are trying to tell us that he’s not ready yet just like Maya. 

In Maya’s case, it’s very uncharacteristic of her to hide something like this sa Nanay niya. Sa klase ng relasyon nila, si Nanay Teresita ang pinaka-appropriate person na dapat mag-confide si Maya, but she asked Kute not to tell her and the family. Is she concern that hindi sila maging happy for her dahil baka hindi niya matupad ang mga pangarap niya sa buhay? 

If you think about it, this is the first time that Maya was so distracted in her class and can’t focus on her studies. ‘Yong uncertainty doon sa situation niya with Daddy Singkit has a very negative effect on her. Kaya kailangan na talagang i-settle at mag-usap na silang dalawa, otherwise, baka hindi pa makapasa si Maya sa training. Sayang din yong paghihirap niya. 

On the other hand, gusto ko rin yong wala muna silang commitment sa isa’t isa para makapag-enjoy din si Maya sa pagiging Flight Attendant niya. She can meet other persons na puwedeng niyang mahalin para meron na man siyang ma-compare and most especially para may suspense and more kiligs:-)). If Daddy Singkit is really the man for her, she can always find a way back to his heart dahil meron siyang special weapon in the person of Abby:-)). Kita kits tayo tommorow.

Dahil na hopia tayo today… Ibabaling ko na lang ang pagka bloated ko sa hopia sa ibang scene na natuwa ako.

Hi Connie- “He kiss the girl and he liked it” ba? -Did it taste like cherry Chapstick? LOL – Anyway, I think he doesn’t want to tell Manang Fe yet because he doesn’t want to get anyone’s hopes up…especially his own if things don’t work out. With regards to the kids, I think you are right that he probably is concerned that maybe the kids won’t accept her as their step mom. (Although I think they would accept her with open arms) With Maya, I think because he knows she is pure and has never had a boyfriend, he has to be gentle with her and take things slowly. (After all, diba sabi niya sa friend nya… don’t refer to her as chick?) Daddy Singkit also told his friend that he is not the type of guy that plays around, so he probably wants to make sure his feelings are right, the kids will be accepting and the timing is right before he makes formal “ligaw” to Maya.
With Maya, I think her reasons for keeping it from her family (aside from Kute) is similar to Richard. The family is aware of her feelings for him, and she doesn’t want them to put their hopes up or think of Richard differently if it doesn’t go anywhere. At this point in the story, Maya is still unsure about what Richard’s intentions are with her. She never thought that he could possibly have feeling for her and thought that her feelings for him was only a crush. Remember how in the beginning, even though she was immediately attracted to him, she tried her best not to like him because he was her boss? But eventually, she accepted that it was only an innocent crush because of his great personality? Well now, that simple crush is turning into LOVE. And because there is a possibility that he may feel something for her, it frightens her because of her innocence. What she thought was a fantasy can actually now be a reality. I think that this is a reason why she is out of character and is distracted from her studies. She understands that her studies are important and graduation is coming near, so this may also be why she is avoiding him because she can’t deal with those emotions while finishing up her training to fulfill her dream. These feelings are new to her. I know that when I’m in love, it’s hard to focus on other things because all you do is think about that person. This is now happening to Maya and Richard. 🙂 

In the other preview for later’s episode, Joey’s mom said in front of the kids she thought Richard and Maya were dating. That statement should open up the idea to the kids, so it won’t too much of a surprise. Also, when she’s drunk and Richard picks her up, she asks him why he’s there. He said “napa daan lang” and she responded with “Wehhhhh!” Osige…kita kits na lang tayo later. 
I think the writers will prolong the official relationship between them for a while. There are so many events/obstacles that they still have to get through. There is that issue Richard is going through with his Lawyer friend and the land, Luke’s graduation, Maya’s graduation, and Maya becoming and official flight attendant. They want to make sure the timing is right and they address the positive messages we can learn from their actions. I know that during this journey, we will get plenty of “kilig” and “wow” moments. We just need to be patient.

The saving grace of today’s episode would be Kute and Maya’s convo. I love Kute and her common sense! Cute! Tama naman kasi, kung ikaw si Maya and hindi mo naman napapanood ang scenes ni Sir Chief, huwag ka munang asa-ness

I like the way Ricardo handled Luke and Joey’s case. Showing support for his kid, putting Luke’s concern before his own made him more adorable dad.. sige na nga writers, forgiven na kahit nahopia ang mga adik.
Pagkatapos ng ilang araw na di nila pagkikita ni Maya after the prom, aba’y mula Saturday hanggang Tuesday, kung tama ang tantya ko sa mga days ay puro hopia na lang din ang pinapakain sa kanya ni Maya.
Saturday: Sayang ang effort. Nagpabango ng bongga. Tinapos agad ang meeting. At pinalipad na ang kotse para lang maabutan ang Maya. Pero waley.
Sunday: Abby wants to go to Maya’s place pero magrereview pa raw si Maya.
Monday: Supposed to be date and made with reservations pa… pero ayun, cancelled.

Come Tuesday, nagbakasakali na ang poging mamang singkit at dumaan na talaga ng training school, nag-aviator glasses na for additional pogi points, naligo, at nagpa-amoy baby na, pero lasheeeeeng na Maya ang naabutan.SINO NGA BA ANG HINDI MAGSUSUNGIT PAG NAHOPIA KA NG ILANG ARAW?! Nakakarelate pala si Ser Chief sa atin.  Lasingan na bukas.

How Richard is behaving now is exactly how Maya was before. I’m glad the format is a little different lately. The audience is now seeing more of Richard’s point of view. Unlike before, even there were clues he’s starting to fall for her and we saw how he was beginning to watch Maya from a distance with a smile on his face, which only means Maya makes him happy, the show never really went beyond that. Now, we, as the the audience, are being given a chance to witness both sides of the story. 

Richard cannot wipe the grin off his face. He is genuinely happy. This was something he thought was so far fetched from happening. He went from even half a smile out of him was merely improssible to there was no way he can stop smiling regardless of what’s going on around him. Even Ryan noticed his gleaming aura. I’m suprised though that Liza didn’t. Aside from Manang Fe, she’s also one of the observant people in the equation. Old Richard would’ve had a fit because the first things he had to deal with are issues at work. Being happy, does change someone’s outlook. Although, Richard was clearly disappoinged he had to cancel his “date”, he still had his priorities straight. He recognized that Luke needs him to stay and stand by his side when Joey and her mom came over. Grace was absolutely right, Richard did a good job in raising Luke. There was rough period, but Luke is becoming a good man just his father. I especially like how this show cleverly touched on the topic of teenages rushing in to things without going to too much details. The message was clear, but not in the “in your face” kind of way. There is one question that keeps resurfacing in my head. It’s pretty clear that the kids are open to the idea of their dad dating again, but I wonder why Richard didn’t let them know that it was Maya he was going to meet up with. He didn’t tell Manang Fe, either. One possible answer to this, though I’m not 100% sure, i think it’s because if they know it’s Maya, and since everyone seems to love her already, the expectations are much higher. Richard is sure about his feelings and what he wants, but reality is, he cannot control everything. He’s not telling them, because he doesn’t want to give the family false hope and to just disappoint them just in case things don’t work out. 

Finally Maya told Kute! It was really good that Kute, well somehow, sort of put things to perspective for Maya. She is absolutely correct when she said Maya’s attitude about the whole thing is over the top. And this is coming from someone who has similar background and both grew up in the province. As I said before, feels like Kute read what I wrote few days ago ( i know it’s impossible), Maya should really let things flow and see where it goes. As long as she keeps an open mind, things can go either way and there will be no disappointment. See what Richard has to offer. Avoiding it will not only add unnecessary stress, but will deny both of them of all possibilities. Now that she heard Kute’s take on what happened, I hope and pray this won’t be a whole week of Maya trying to run away from the situation. I really do hope she snaps out of it. Like I said before, give Maya’s character justice. I did sense frustration on Richard’s face when Maya was giving him lame excuses, yet again, when he was trying to reschedule. But looks like he didn’t let it discourage him based on the preview for tomorrow. I know eventually Richard will get through to her, as Maya got through to Richard’s closed up heart.

I like this episode because it’s a good lesson for young people who are just starting a relationship…young love! As for Maya and SC, I agree with her that she needs a little time to adjust to the idea that SC really likes her in a special way. I understand her hesitation….kaya lang, writers, please add more lines in their conversation na nakaka kilig..like he misses her. The part in this episode that I like most is when SC keeps smiling and his friend noticed it. It shows he is really “inspired”….can’t wait for the next episode…Maya is drunk and a little bit beside herself!.. it would be an interesting scenario!!!SC would be holding her to steady her????

I liked the conversation between Maya and Kute… at si Kute pa mismo ang nag-encourage kay Maya to give the situation a chance to progress… natawa lang ako sa sinabi nyang “ayaw mong ma-hopia” or words to that effect. naalala ko ang mga ka-adik na tulad kong malimit ma-hopia lang sa teasers.. excited na ko sa lasheng na Maya bukas!

It’s typical that on Friday’s previews the scenes are through the following week. I’ve observed usually until about Wednesday. But looks like we will see that scene tomorrow. However, more that scene won’t happen until near the end so we will have to wait until Wednesday until we get the full reactions from the wine tasting.

I love it that the writers found a way to get Maya tipsy (or drunk, if you will) in a ‘legit’ sort of way. Meron tayong laugh trip na aabangan. Part nga naman ng lesson ang wine-tasting. Torete lang talaga kaya nilunok ang hindi dapat lunukin.

New classmate. First time to post. Lurker ako for a long time. Now lang ako naglakas loob to post something. I just want to say that nakaka-alis ng stress every time I visit this thread. Thanks for all the funny stories, comments and the links.

Anyways, up to this day hindi ko magets kung bakit minatch si Luke kay Joey. Kahit anong gawin, there isnt an ounce of chemistry between them. NONE! Ang guapo, ang ganda pero ang tamlay ng dating. Para syang pagkain na gandang tingnan pero walang lasa.

Mas kinikilig pa ako pag naiisip ko na super close na si Luke at Nikki sa personal dahil laging magkasama. Kung di lang inaapropriate ang sarang nila i-match.

At itong si Grace kung makatingin sa house ni SerChief ganon na lang. Basta ba hanggang bahay lang eh at wag sanang magka idea na si Richard ang tingnan eh okay kami, kahit pang-asar sya sa episode today.

After being hooked sa teleserye na to, now ko lang na-realized na pwede palang ikamatay ang kakiligan. I swear hindi ako makahinga every time meron scene si SC at Maya. Daig pa lechon kawali sa pagpataas ng presyon.

If you have not joined the bandwagon, these “kilig” lines that Ser Chief has been dishing out to Maya just might inspire you to do so. (And for the fans, indulge. There’s no harm getting into another “kilig” comatose with these memorable lines):

Giving Maya an optimistic boost over her “terror” teacher Ms. Belmonte:

Iba talaga ang chemistry ng LuKKi, cute nilang magkapatid!

May I sugod ang mag-inang Joey at Grace sa Lim residence, mas maganda ang mommy ni Joey!  (kamukha nya si Ayen Munji Laurel asawa ni Franco Laurel)

Gusto ko yung usapan ni Kute at Maya, at least nag-open up na si Maya medyo inamin na inlove na si Maya ke Sir Chief.

Natawa ako sa sinabi ni Maya ke Sir Chief sa phone, “di pa ko ready” hahaha! nag-iinvite lang lumabas si Sir chief noh!

Basta-basta, intay na lang sa mga darating pang episodes!

 

Sa pag-ulit-ulit ko ng teaser, I can’t help but imagine na panay ang tawanan siguro ng cast and crew sa mga scenes na lasing si Maya…nakakatawa kasi ni Maya eh! and you can see kasi the amused expression on the face of the other actors maliban kay SC na masungit ang expression.

 

Palagay ko po ang tanging magiging hadlang lang sa 2 lovebirds natin ay si MAYA mismo, dahil unless confident siya sa thought na pwede siyang mahalin ni SC ay walang mangyayari sa kanila. Pero based din kasi sa episode kahapon, segurista lang din naman ang peg niya so kinda understandable. Sana’y magkaroon na sila ng masinsinang usapan tungkol dito para magkaliwanagan na silang 2 (kahit sa ating mga adik ay malinaw na )

P.S. 8 buwan na pala…1 buwan na lang…magkakabunga na (sana at dapat)
