I like the fact that both Maya and SC would pose first as close friends just like Raffi and SC, so that when the time comes to reveal their true status, the kids would no longer be shocked by it and it would seem already like a foregone conclusion.
From the teaser, I like the fact that Ser Chief said thank you to Maya aloud in front of the kids. Kasi when Maya helped Nikki chose her dress, SC mouthed lang his thank you. During the prom, the compliments eh si Maya din lang nakarinig I think. So I guess, level up din si SC in showing his appreciation of Maya.

But still, it is a show that make me smile. So, I thought and said to myself,
´ll just wait everyday with excitements! Anyway, there´s always a right time for every thing. And I believe that every situations in this show deserves

Everything is falling into place. I guess Maya just needed to pullherself together to be able to start talking about how she’s been feeling. Kute and Eman are pretty consistent on their take on Richard-Maya situation. Just let things flow and enjoy the moment, but at the same time be smart. Maya’s conversation with Eman made me understand her more. It’s true that had it been any other guys, she would’ve hadled the situation better. But since it’s Richard, whom she thought would never find her “attractive”, it was a little different this time. I didn’t factor in how Richard acted in the similar situations in the past. Because of his inabilitty to express his emotions, everytime he realized how beautiful Maya is, Instead of complimenting her, he either gave her an attitude or he made it seem like it wasn’t a big deal. That night of the prom was the first time he became that vocal on how much he admires Maya. It’s wonderful Maya is taking Eman and Kute’s advice. She is now ready to face the music.
I just want to quickly touch on Kute-Jeff-Cho. Since, these three are in what you call “unconventional” family set up. It’s going to take a little more effort from the parents in explaining why things are happening differently in their family vs. the typical family the child sees everyday. Looks like more progress is about to happen next week. Someone seems to be feeling better as soon as he saw Maya. These two are finally going to have a chance to talk about what everyone has been waiting for. It’s good that Richard is able to take a step back and realize there were certain actions made Maya uncomfortable. And for this reason, I have hunch, he will not straight up tell her, “Yes, Maya I like you” . He definitely doesn’t want to make the situation worse and have Maya lose her mind again. But I do think, he’ll tell her enough to let her know he’s starting to fall. One more thing before I forget, Sabel had made a comment about maybe it’s not the doctor Richard wants to come over, but someone else. Which can only mean, she already has an idea that Richard has something for Maya. Nevertheless, things are moving forward!

It’s a very good show and i don’t want it to end and be replaced with the likes of the current shows on tv (of both networks) na halos lahat na lang kidnapan, fantaserye with the nakakatakot na costumes, halikan ng halikan na di naman kailangan sa story, patayan, barilan, drama, amnnesia here and there, rape, violence….
Hindi siya nakakaumay coz wala naman siyang kapareho na show na light, value-laden, with good/ talented casts, charismatic actors, good directors, great writers. Also this is Jodi’s first lead role and definitely Richard Yap’s too so instead of watching the usual actors/ actresses na andaming shows to the point na you wouldnt remember their roles na, id rather watch this two na kahit konti ang shows eh tumatak naman ng masyado sa audience.
They can explore many plots pa sa kuwento and wag lang mapressure ang writers sa clamor ng mga tao or ng management, im sure bcwmh still has a long way to go.
That’s my opinion. Maybe some wouldn’t agree but the show has positively affected me, made me feel good. Nakakawala din ng pagod. Would you prefer a stressful show over this one – not me?

Again, it´s great to see Maya and Richard together, dealing with each others´ worries….Maya had enough courage now to open up with Richard about that kiss that confused her. She ´s a bit uncomfortable bringing it up but Richards´ words gave Maya an assurance that she should not worry about it. Like what Richard said, they´re different and he don´t felt sorry kissing her. And also this helped Richard to understand now why Maya reacted unusual the last few days. An idea too for Richard to take care of surprising Maya thru his gestures. 🙂 It´s so sweet to hear it again from Richard that they´re different. And they really are…. now their friendship is starting to get more stronger and deeper.
It was a short show as usual 🙂 but the scenes are all sweet, specially when Manang Fe told to Richard that Maya is there. The smile in Manang Fe´s face shows a lot, she knew it well that this will help Richard. Manang Fe is also happy to see Maya took time to visit Richard, And as a return, Richard shows how grateful he is for Maya´s decision to be there. A picture of a happy family (soon!) Just together having fun, and that what Richard needs now….to see her with his children.

Even for just one night, it’s nice to see these two doing their usual “night capping”. The writers/director picked the perfect spot for Maya and Richard to talk about what’s been hanging over their heads for a week, “the kiss”. Richard’s office represents the serious side of him, as leader, boss, father and Maya-Richard’s boss-emloyee relationship. But at the same time, the porch (veranda) had become a place for him to let a little bit of his guard down, a place where he allows himself to be human. This is where he unwinds, reflects, smiles and allows himself to be sad. This is also the place where he started to build that special friendship with Maya. They used to talked about everything in this little corner of the house and such a, just like I said, perfect spot to have this intimate conversation.
Finally, Maya had enough courage to, of course without any help of any alcohol (kidding), to open up about the kiss. Although, Richard wanted to bring it up first, he’s smart that he didn’t and waited for Maya to initiate the conversation. This is his way to telling Maya that she’s in control of the situation. Him apologizing is a good way for him to validate Maya’s feelings. And Richard made sure he’s not sorry for the kiss, but his sorry for the confusion he caused her. It would’ve been a real disappointment for Maya if Richard said that the kiss was just an accident and never meant to happen. That alone, I believe is enough, well at least for now, for her to understand what’s starting to happen here. When Richard said (for the 2nd time), “….cause we’re different”, these two seems like they’re in the same page. Without going in to details, they understood eachother. A part of me still asked, different how?
Who would know Richard better than Manang Fe. She is one of my favorite character. She plays a major part in this awesome love story. She knew exactly what Richard needed to feel better, of course Maya. Other than his children, she knows Maya provides him that level of comfort. And Maya, it’s almost lke it’s an instinct for her to be nurturing. No ifs and buts, she understood Richard needs her. I guess someone was quick to get out of bed and his face lit up when he found out Maya is downstairs. I especialy love that scene when he was watching the kids and Maya eating, sharing stories. He almost had a glympse of what it would look like when/if everything works out. The writers are also somewhat hinting the audience on how Sabel and Doris would interact with Maya when that time comes. I notice the subtle difference on the way they talk and interact with her now. Overall, I love the way the story is unfolding. The momentum is definitley on its way back up again.

Di ba they were talking about the kiss…then sabi ni Maya na “parang nakakalito”…tapos nagtanong si SC, “coz we’re friends??”…kinontradict to ni Maya, saying, “kasi iba”…then parang nag-agree si SC via his cryptic line niya na ” iba naman tayo di ba? The way I understand it is parang sinabi ni SC na they were more than just friends. Hirap kasi parang telegrama ang kwentuhan niland dalawa, coded!
I’m actually alright with them not defining ‘Iba Tayo’ – it gives the writers more opportunities to define it in the future. And the status makes it comfortable enough for them to be sweet in expressing romantic feelings towards each other gradually. Yung pa-level up ng pa-level up ang level ng intimacy (how many levels can you use in a sentence?!).I like that.
Noticed na nanalo si Maya sa argument if coffee helps in bringing down the temperature. Or more aptly, Sir Chief made her win.

I’m actually thinking along the same lines. Maybe, it’s one of the “conflicts” that can ensue given the current status of their “relationship”. There are quite a few real-life couples who go through the same situation. Puro pakiramdaman….hesitant to put a label in their so-called “relationship”. If one of the involved party isn’t comfortable with the set-up as time passes, he/she would realize that there’s indeed a need to set the record straight.

I don’t think Ser Chief meant that he is getting married soon.
From the conversation with her mom, Donya Esmeralda is just worried that he doesn’t have a partner in life. And I’m guessing na his mom is egging him to find a partner soon. And that’s when he said his dialogue about getting married for the right reasons and with the right person.
But then again, as we have observed, yung mga dialogues nila foreshadows what we can expect going forward. At nabanggit na rin naman ni ser chief na may kasalang magaganap in one of his interviews.
Pero syempre, super excited na ako sa mga magiging developement… I really think na maraming pasabog ang mga writers how Maya and Ser Chief’s love story will unfold in this show.
However, the thought of him affirming that he’ll really find someone to be wedded to, is definitely comforting. Pinapakita lang kung gaano ka consistent si Ser Chief na when he sets his eyes on something – someone – eh, he doesn’t play around nga. He has his eyes set on Maya and he is working on it. Hindi na dapat itanong kung ikakasal sila at kung kailan, dahil sure ball na yan. It’s not the what, when nor the why. It’s the how.
I didn’t catch the last line..”Magpapakasal lang ako for the right reasons. And when I see her in person?“. It doesn’t make sense to me unless si Beyonce ang gustong pakasalan ni Sir Chief.

Magpapakasal na – words he stated with conviction and not with any hint of doubt who he wants to marry.
Magpapakasal lang – that is kind of sad (on the part of Maya in my opinion) kasi he is like giving himself a set of standards as to why remarry (perhaps even to Maya) which is in contradiction of how obviously he is enamoured with Maya.
I listened many times, I am pretty sure he said “magpapakasal na”

I like your idea of combining the words
I guess we can all blame it on Richard’s way of speaking. Since he knows 4 languages ( Cantonese, English, Tagalog, & Cebuano ) his manner of speaking /accent is affected by them. Kaya minsan nabubulol sya ( there were quite a few scenes in the past where he stuttered / ran his words through ). But hey, no man is perfect so okay lang yun
But out of curiosity, I listened to that part again and heard this:
“MAGPAPAKASAL LA-ANG AKO”
If I follow the logic of HedgeRabbit it would appear that he hasn’t found the right girl yet OR he isn’t sure yet if Maya is the one
But then again, maybe he’s just not ready to confess to his mom thathe thinks he has found the one. Can’t blame him though, he has yet to officially court Maya and with the rate things are going, I’m not too sure if they will even go through that stage
I’m guessing that the writers want to show us an unconventional progress in the relationship of Maya & Ser Chief . Well, I wish them all the luck with that
Good thing Richard recognizes that he IS a very lucky man. He has a family who stuck by him even when he wasn’t the most pleasant person to be around with. He has Maya in his life who first demonstrated the true meaning of unconditional love to his children and then later on to him as well. She never asked for anything in return nor even expected for her “mahal na hari” to love her back. Finally, Richard’s heart is wide open to accept all these without any resitance and ready to reciprocate. Hearing how Maya worried about him just gave him that confirmation how much she does care. As someone looking in to this story, I or we as an audience can tell, how Maya can melt Richard sometimes cold heart. Like I said before, Maya is Richard’s kryptonite. The difference this time, they’re beginning to be transparent with eachother, particularly Maya. Although, nothing was officially announced, Manang Fe’s tone with Maya on phone as if she was talking to Richard’s significant other. As observant as she is, I’m positive she already knows something magical is going on with these two.
I have to admit, when I saw the preview for tomorrow’s episode, I couldn’t contain myself. Of course Richard will only get married again for the right reasons, I wouldn’t expect any less, but now he’s almost positive he found the right perfect one who fit those reasons. You know how they say, timing is everything. The questions is…is this the right time for both parties? Maya is just starting to live her life…her dream. Would she be ready when Richard is?

I’m still waiting for SC’s “da moves”, parang mas ma-effort pa din kasi si Maya e. Although its clear na in-love na nga ang poging singkit.
About the teaser, mejo sad nga kasi parang di pa sya convinced na si Maya yung “right person”, pero pwede pa din naman natin iinterpret as kasi hindi pa sure si SC na they will end up together dahil bata pa si Maya, di sya sure if Maya will not change her mind about him.
Basta ang importante ilabas muna ni SC yang mga pinagmamalaki nilang DA MOVES na yan!
anyway… yung narinig ko rin knina na sinabi ni SC sa teaser is “magpapakasal lang ako for the right reasons”.. but in my opinion, this is not a negative statement.. i think his mom is trying to pair him up with someone, or is insisting that he date someone na para di nya sya alone, and si SC, not wanting muna to tell his mom abt maya, said na lang that.. that he’ll get married *** for the right reason, and maybe the reason is kung love nya yung girl (like *** nafifeel nya kay maya hehehe) and not to have a companion lang… hay naku basta i can’t wait for the next episodes!!!!!

Without basing it on the teaser, dahil hindi ko talaga maintindihan si Sir Chief, I’m inclined to believe he said ‘mag-aasawa LANG ako”.
It doesn’t take away from the fact that he’s eyeing Maya to be his future wife. Masyado lang premature to say mag-aasawa na and a bit awkward at this stage too.
Just my thoughts
Nikki and Lukes concern for their Dad is one of my favorite. And Nikki´s word to her Daddy touched my heart. She can´t forget how does it feel to
loose someone close to her heart. And she needs to be reassured that this incident won´t happen again. Richard felt that afraidness from Nikki´s
voice. And he needs to make his children feel that he is not going anywhere.
Richard and Maya´s conversation in the veranda was the sweetest. Maya is back with her crazy way of talking. And where she sweetly admitted to Richard that she worry about him. That obviously gave Richard a comforting feeling. Maya´s decision to visit Richard the last time was
the start for her, to just let the feeling go. Let it happen….and she did it. She worry for him, she want to take care of him just like what she did to his children. Like what Richard said, they´re different….yes, they really are. They don´t need a lot of words to show that they care for each other. Their hearts are giving them a sweet, lovely feeling, their eyes are just showing love for each other. Their friendship is taking the right road…
going to something special. And Richard love the picture his eyes are seeing, a happy lovely children with the Princess that changed everything in his life. The Princess that touched his heart that was before frozen, hold it with her both hands and keep it warm. Everything will happen how the King and
the Princess will come together….. It´s just a matter of time.

may feelings na ksi si SerChief kay Maya. He thinks right person na si Maya for him & kids pero his taking it slowly but surely
marami rin kasing icoconsider. This will be Maya’s very 1st relationships, sbi nga ni SerChief mas bata si Maya sa kanya, then the kids. But for sure sa tamang daan lahat ito maganda nyan nagkakaintindihan na si Maya & SerChief kahit sa tinginan

Kinda sad that it’s the last day of regular programming for BCWMH this week.
Anyway, I think she won’t be sleeping over coz based on the scene, she was on her way out of Baby Abby’s room when Manang Fe told her to wait for Ser Chief.
But of course, I’m still hoping I’m wrong and that she will sleep over. Though I’m wondering where she’ll get her undergarments…I mean she’s only wearing the ones she has right? Will DorBel also lend her undies?
