216 Date Aired: May. 10, 2013—Can Ser Chief and Kute make it to Maya’s graduation? Kakayanin ba ni Ser Chief
Graduation na ni Maya. Nandun na lahat ang family ni Maya except Kute na nahuli ang flight dahil inayos ang problema sa Chibugan. Kasalanan ni Carol, pamangkin ni Aling Ebing na nagtrabaho sa Chibugan. Kinuha ang pera pambaon sa pakipagtanan.
Wala pa kaganapan basta nandun na sila lahat sa venue except Kute and Joma. Si Kute nasa biyahe pa rin.
Si Joma bumalik sa mansyon dahil naiwan yun isang putahe para sa party kay Maya.
Practice practice ang mga FA graduates. Kumusta naman yong matching colors si SC at Joma .hahaha. At ang ale sa likod ni Kute ang kulit nga-nga kong nga –nga.
Ser chief waley dalian mo kaya….MRT? Pero pinauna mo naman lahat pumasok. Napakagood boy mo naman.
Si Maya lang ang may bag sa graduation.
Dapat mag graduate na rin yan bag na yan. Talagang nakasabit pa sa upuan niya para kitang-kita. Di na lang pinahawak kala NT or sa baba. (Pinag-initan ang bag.)
Umalis si SC para sunduin si Kute. Nagkita sila ni Kute sa Bus station.
Kinanta ng almost buo ang Pambansang awit. Nagtxt kay Maya na magkasama na si SC at Kute sa EDSA. Ipinakilala ang graduates. Nagpakita ng AV presentation ng mga graduates.
Nag decide si SC na mag MRT at iwanan ang kotse. Ayan gwiyomi na . Lagot yong mag MRT. Hindi pa rin pala umabot ang gwiyomi.
Di ko na-enjoy ang (mis)adventure nina Kute at Ser Chief na kung tutuusin si Carol lang ang dahilan. (We’ll that’s the writer’s way on how to delay Kute.)
Si Simon parang male-version lang ni Liza. Isang tawag lang ng boss, kahit anong oras, punta agad.
SRO ang graduation. Kulang sa chairs.
Tama yung number of chairs! Ang mali ay yung bilang ng tao. Di kasi nainform ang organizers na isang barangay pala ang guests ni Maya!
Haha oo nga e di ba pag mga ganun dapat isa o dalawa lang dala mong guests. Si Maya, 12 ang dala.
Haha! parang alam ko na ang pambitin this week!!! Next week pa natin malaman kung nakaabot si SC!

Manila traffic at MRT lang pala ang mag-uudyok kay Maya para sagutin si SC!!!Maya’s I LOVE YOU will finally be out by probably Tuesday next week.
Walang pasintabi yung I LOVE YOU ni Maya. Na schock ako!
So, are they officially together? OR will Maya say na “nabigla lang” siya again? My Gosh Maya if you retract this again I will hit you with a hammer! Ricardo has been moving heaven and earth for you!
Sa graduation pala ang sagutan so sana andun naman na yong kids sabihin na rin nila.
Tawa ko kay SC naiwanan. Yabang mo mag MRT di mo alam bilisan pumasok. ..hehehe. MRT lang pala sagot para mag I love you si Maya. The MRT ride was worth it. Kahit nanakaw pa siguro yung BMW, okay lang kay Ser Chief.
Sinadya na yun ni Maya. Di na pwedeng slip of the tongue yun. Kumusta naman ang snuggle sa neck before saying I love you. Still in shock.
Aiza is my hero in this episode.The way she emoted and portrayed Kute’s elation seeing her little sister’s achievement of their dreams made a big connection to me. Congratulations Aiza!! Excellent job.
These two sister’s made a pact na mag-kapit bisig sila para maiahon sa kahirapan ang kaniang buhay. Not only for themselves but most importantly ang kanilang family especially their dearest mother.
Watching their pinning scenes brought me back to the earlier episodes wherein both of them, Maya and Kute, had to donate blood in order to pay their electric bill. Life had thrown a lot of stumbling blocks along their way.but they did not give up. They made these stumbling blocks their stepping stone to succeed and achieve their dreams. Nanay Teresita no doubt must be the proudest mother in the whole world. Why ? Because I believe that success is measured on how many obstacles that you’ve overcome to achieve what you are at the present. This is it,the reward of all their hardwork and sacrifices. This is the culmination of their journey. They deserve to celebrate and to do it with the people who inspired them and lent them their support is so fitting.
Thank you sa iyo Kute, dahil sa lateness mo, Daddy Singkit had been given the chance to prove to her Mahal na Prinsesa his love and devotion. In this episode Richard , was able to show to his Lady Love that her happiness is important to him and that he is prepared to make a sacrifice to make her happy on this very special event of her life. Even though he felt endangered taking a public transport , still, he did it for her.
Thank you sa iyo Kute, because you made your sister realise na ang Mahal na Hari ay bumaba uli sa kanyang trono at sumakay sa LRT. It felt like she telling Maya na ang haba talaga ng buhok mo bunso:-))
All of Richard’s gesture of love and devotion were not in vain. It was noticed and lovingly accepted by Maya with a resounding thank you. And at last, nasabi na rin niya ang 3 magic words back at him ng harapan. I was watching Maya’s face when she uttered the “I Love You” words and it is with conviction. It seems that she’s saying to him that “I am ready to accept the love that you offer, dahil maipagmalaki mo na rin ako sa iyong family and the society that you are in. Flight attendant na akoooooo. I’ll be the best flight attendant in the whole worlllld!”
At huwag nating kalimutan si Simon, ang lalaking nagmamahal at patuloy na magmamahal kay Maya. He accepted na talo na siya but it never stop him to continue to show to her that he’ll always be there if she needs him. When Simon step up for a photo with Maya, I watched his face intently and it seems that he is making a statement to Daddy Singkit na “This girl is precious to me but he chose you and offered her heart and soul to you. Please take good care of her”
Kung si Richard mayroong Raffi in his life, Maya has a Simon, her longlife friend. A friend that she can confide all her heart’s worries and who will sincerely listen and give a different perspective so she’ll be able to continue her journey in life.
Finally, I was able to understand why Maya did not give him a hug during that episode sa Airport when her family arrived in Manila. It is because that time she still believed that Simon is still vulnerable and she doesn’t want to give him false hope. I remember doon sa episode na niyakap niya si Simon ng mahigpit na mahigpit dahil matagal na rin silang hindi nagkita at nabuhayan ulit ng loob si Simon. She doesn’t want that to happen again because she love Simon bilang tunay na kaibigan. But now she realised that Simon truly accepted the friendship she offered, she awarded him with a big hug and a heartfelt thank you:-)
Pero teka, parang may kulang doon si pictorial scenes. Bakit hindi kasali sina Abby at Cho? Pati si Doris hindi nasali? What happen to them? Maybe it was cut dahil the episode is too long?

I actually noticed the “snuggling” of Maya sa neck ni Ser Chief….and then waited with bathed breath what she’s gonna say….
as it turned out —-> I LOVE YOU…..
and then Ser Chief’s reaction—-> dazed.
Magpasalamat tayong lahat kay Kute dahil nag ro-ro siya. Hindi nya tinanggap ang alok ni Ser Chief sa airline tickets. Dahil dun natrapik siya… na-pa-I love you tuloy si MAYA!!
Maraming Salamat talaga!!! Sa WAKAS!!! Totohanan na ito, finally Maya realized it all, SC is all worth it and wala dapat ikatakot pa! Sabi nga niya, ‘there are solutions, only if you’re ready….’
Pero kapag BF/GF na, di ba dapat normal lang na may kiss kahit man lang sa cheeks??? (asa na naman kami!)
I don’t think Maya will again retract her “I loveyou” to Ricardo. As you said nga, Ricardo has been moving heaven and earth for her. Siguro naman, after all that Ricardo has done for her and for her family eh nakita na niya how much he truly loves her.
It’s OFFICIAL! SILA NA YAN! Thank you to the MRT and the horrible Manila traffic! The two things that I detest helped Maya realize things! So next up, they need to tell the kids na. I hope they won’t have violent reactions.
Okay. I wanted to post something right away at 0100 after watching this episode but I was so full of emotions then, i didn’t want to post my waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah all over again. Baka sabihin ninyo sobrang exagge ko na. But what can I do, masyadong mababaw ang luha ko, esp. dun sa scene when Kute made it to the pinning ceremony. Kudos talaga sa musical scoring. Dun ako na nadali eh, sa background music. And after nahimas himasan na ako, umiyak uli ako dun sa scene when Maya found out what Ser Chief did for her….anything to make her happy ika nga that Richard even had to step out from his comfort zone and rode the MRT. It was a no brainer for Ser Chief that he didn’t even think twice about it.
And speaking of the MRT scene, hay naku. Kung si Jan na tense dun sa traffic scene ni Kute last time, ako naman ay na stress kay Ser Chief.
Ang bagal! Masyado kasing gentleman, pinauna pa yung iba na pumasok. And sarap na talagang itulak eh. Pero bilib ako dun sa kumuha ng scene ha…so realistic. Buti na lang hindi siya dinumog ng tao. Puro extra ba yun lahat?
Anyway, now comes my fave part. I love how Richard was speechless after Maya said I love you coz we seldom see his emotions. We always see Maya’s reaction sa mga kiss and ILY ni Ser Chief. I remembered from previous episodes before, Richard was willing to talk about their ILY exchanges but Maya was so hesitant to talk about it then. Richard was so caught off guard and tama nga naman…he didn’t expect Maya to utter those words so soon and harap harapan pa ha and kaya nga sabi niya kasi nga nag sabi niya he is willing to wait?
I love how he would look up at Maya right before he takes a picture. And those side stares…so kilig. I think mas kinilig ako dito than the ILY exchanges and HH moments nila before. I can really feel the love whenever Richard looks at Maya na parang sinasabi niya na….”God! I am sooo in love with this woman! and she loves me too!…I want to hold her and hug her and God I want to kiss her so badly!”
………………………….wait lang, labas muna ako sa body ni Richard at mukhang nagging Kute na ako! ha ha ha

I LOVE YOU TOO, writers!!At the first episodes of the week medyo bitin ako sa kilig. Medyo dragging. Then came the conversation of Nanay Teresita and SC, Wednesday ba yun? Ok. Naiyak ako at lalo ako nainlab kay SC. Tapos bitin parin ako sa usapan nina Nanay Teresita and Maya. Mas may impak sa akin yung kay NT and SC. But when I watched today’s episode, bawing- bawi ah.
Pagkatapos nito, life as an FA na ni Maya. Hatid sundo pa rin? Kailan kaya ang kasal at pregnancy blues? Masarap siguro makitang mataranta si SC pag dinala sa emergency room si Maya? Masyado ako nagmamadali.
So kaya pala may ganito kasi nag I love you na si Maya

been in the PI since we left PI 1969. He had a good time and good laugh with Sabel and Doris. I’m just glad he had a good time and he really like Maya. I’m glad he enjoyed the show and so am I. All good things take time. And if you have really worked hard to achieve it, you seem to value it more. This show’s concept definitely does not encourage instant gratification. It promotes patience. Ha ha ha. It is the most difficult virtue to learn and master. A lot of people live a lifetime and still not have enough of it. Romans 8:28 says: “All things work for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose.” My translation would be: “God will take whatever bad things you have been dealt with and will use those to make good things to happen for you. He does this because He loves you and only wants what is best for you.”
A lot of unfortunate circumstances occurred in this show’s main characters’ lives. But patience and perseverance reigned over these seemingly insurmountable series of unfortunate events which allowed our beloved hero and heroine to come out on the other side unscathed and victorious!
For our heroine, Maya, she faced her “Goliath” by being patient and persistent. She demonstrated these virtues by volunteering to postpone her dream to become an FA. She willingly stepped aside, to allow Kute to achieve her dream first to become a seaman. She became the family’s breadwinner while Kute attended school. Foiled by the unfortunate accident (falling off the ladder), which prevented Kute to finish her course, which was only a few credits from being complete, Maya again found herself having to sacrifice some more by leaving the family so that she could provide for them, albeit, from a distance. Yet again, another misfortune prevented her from leaving the country; the overseas worker recruiter absconded with the money she paid for her chance to do so.
But Maya was no quitter! She took all kinds of jobs just to make ends meet. Those jobs were all low-paying but they all paved the way to her subsequent employment in the Lim’s household. Becoming Abby’s nanny took a whole series of events, too. She was accused of wrongdoings (abducting Abby), be subjected to embarrassment (questioned by the police), deemed a liar (Mr. Lim wrongfully thought she was deaf and mute) and was investigated for being a fraud. (The only wrong she has ever done was keeping her family in the dark about her being in Manila, instead, of Dubai.) Maya patiently endured all of these and in the end, was duly rewarded by her employer’s wholehearted trust and ultimately, his love.
The love did not happen overnight, either. Like a pot of delicious stew, their love for each other required a lot of time. It is like leaving a crackpot on simmer for hours and hours so that the ingredients can marry well and the meat will be so tender, it would simply melt in one’s mouth.
Our hero, Sir Chief had to be patient with himself and the circumstances that he was dealt with, as well. His grief for Alex’s untimely death took a toll on him. He coped by throwing himself into building his aviation business. He almost did not go home. If he did, it was only long enough for a shower and a quick check to see if the kids were fed and that they were okay. He hardly slept, too. He kept a punishing schedule for himself thinking that it would dull his senses so that he would no longer feel the pain of losing a loved one.

– Maya and Kute donating blood just to make enough to pay the electric bill;
– Maya and Kute carrying the big gutter during a heavy downpour to fix the leaky roof;
– the family’s decision to put up their home as collateral just to pay Kute’s hospital expenses;
– Maya using her tuition money thereby postpoining her education;
– Maya sleeping in the hotel lobby and using a public toilet to freshen up. These are only among the many sacrifices the family had to endure. So the time has come for them, to finally celebrate Maya’s achievement amidst obstacles, they can take their moment

Sitting on the Sidelines:
I told myself, two to three days without crying was kind of nice. Well, I guess that was short-lived. The scene with Kute on top of their song , Huwag Kang Matakot, playing while she runs to her sister, waterworks started. I don’t have a sister. The bond between sisters is something I will never have. But this show has the secret recipe to capture each audience’s emotions. I said to myself, “so that’s how it feels like.”
Kute have always carried the burden of being the reason why Maya had to give up so much. Maya postponed her dream for her sister with a promise that it will be her turn to go after hers when Kute is done. But something happened along the way, and Maya had to delay her dream once more. Without any animosity towards her sister, Maya sacrificed being away from her family in an attempt to give them a better life. With really no one to hold on to, Maya drew strength from Kute. Who was the only one that knew what she had to do in order to support her family. Seeing her little sister on that stage getting her wings, the burden had lifted. Finally, it’s Maya’s turn!
In the beginning, Maya thought there was no room for her in Richard’s heart. As she sat on the sidelines, not expecting anything back, Maya loved him the best way she knew how, but only from a distance. She did everything and anything just to make Richard happy. If it meant for her to stay up every night to watch Abby sleep with a recorder just in case she talks, so be it. Because she knew there was nothing else he wanted, but to hear his daughter’s voice. Now, Richard is sitting on the sidelines. Not only Richard is giving Maya a room in his heart; Richard is giving so much of himself to her. He held Maya’s hand throughout her journey. He became her confidant when she thought it was too hard. Her cheerleader, each time she achieved a milestone. Her mentor, who had shared his wisdom to her. Seeing Maya finally cross that finish line would mean so much. But he knew, that moment wasn’t about him. Getting Kute to Maya, was far more important. He went out of his comfort zone and did something that obviously haven’t done before….use the public transportation. Not knowing exactly what he was doing, he only focused on the important thing. Although he missed Maya’s special moment, he walked in the room and still not drawing attention to himself. Instead, he let Maya shine and waited on the sidelines. The moment Maya saw Richard, time froze once again. As he walked towards her, Maya understood what he had been saying to her all along…that he will wait, he will let her live her dream, and that his love is selfless that there’s no cross road to face. Maya knew she could have both. Now that the walls have come down and all of her fears gone, it is time. While in each other’s embrace, she connected with his soul and gave her heart to him. Everything else went in slow motion and they both forgot where they were. When Richard looked at Maya as if he was asking himself, “why did it take me so long to see you?” When Maya looked at Richard the way she used to look at him, but this time not from a distance anymore, as if she was saying, “it’s always been you.” And when both of their eyes connected, there was quick flashback of how they were and how they are now. Richard Lim and Maya Dela Rosa became “US”. He once said to her, “there’s no “US”, but I want to get there” Well Richard, you are there….you’re home….
I just found out the cure to this addictive madness is to go shopping hehe. Tuloy ngayon lang ako naka-online at naghahabol magbasa bago yung next epi. Arlene, dito na rin ako makiki-post kse di pala puwede >1 post. Eh natabunan na yung akin review k’se kagabi pa yun…

Just wanna share my experience…. True, maya cried when she was thanking the crowd… It was really a successful show, it was really jam packed hanggang taas puno parin, ang capacity i think is 6,300 seating. Before the show started everyone would scream everytime SC’s pic is shown on the screen and when they showed the kilig scenes parang magigiba ang auditorium sa lakas ng sigawan… Kudos to Doris and Sabel sila halos ang nagdala nung show, grabe ang mga patawa nila sobrang benta, ang galing ng tandem nila our realization…. Ang swerte ni mama chen at may ganun sya kagwapong asawa, ang ganda ng kutis ni SC and he looks younger in personjodi and RY really look good together if they were a couple (for real) overall it was a fun show, kahit di bumaba si SC sa stage unlike others… Alam siguro nilang di na sya makakabalik pag lumapit sa crowd hehehe

In this episode Maya want to talk or clarify her “ILOVEYOU” to Ser Chief. But Richard stop her because he knows its not the right or perfect time to talk about it. …He just want Maya to have fun and Enjoy the day of her graduation.
Ser Cheif, you are the man! You are not the kind of opportunity seeker person.
Maya, you are so lucky and blessed in having or loving Ser Chief! Ser Chief! He is not only good looking, cute or hand some man but he has the best character as well, he is one of a kind 🙂 He really respect and love you that much.

With Richard everything has to happen in a perfect time and in a perfect moment. Although he heard those three words from Maya and he was obviously caught off guard from it, he realized maybe this is not the right time to talk about it. There are lots going on around them and he can barely get a time alone with his princess. He figured, this is the time to celebrate Maya and her accomplishments. He definitely doesn’t want to steal her thunder. He always has a way of making sure Maya shines and for her to savor that moment. Although, there’s a part of me saying that maybe he doesn’t want to hear Maya’s explanation. He’s probably worried, just like before, that Maya was just caught up in the moment and overwhelmed with emotions, which made her say it. Richard is a decisive man and Maya is more passive. She had gone back and forth with him, went in circles, have attempted to avoid him, but this time Richard wants make sure she meant what she said. If only Richard can read her mind, he would’ve known the answer long time ago. But since, he cannot, as what he always does, he will set that perfect time to talk and it will be worth the wait. But for now, they’re satisfied with the private conversation they’re having each time they look at each other. With just few glances here and there, they’re saying so much that only them can understand.
Abby gave the perfect gift. It took Maya back to where it all started. As a nanny, Maya went above and beyond what was expected of her. Not only she invested her time, she also invested her emotions with the little kid. Abby was too young when her mother passed away. Her bond with Alex was cut too short and that kind of loss is just way too much for a kid to handle. Just like her dad, Abby created her own world where she felt safe…A world that she can control since she couldn’t control the passing away of her mother. Since then, Maya became the closest thing to a mother for Abby. She instantly let Maya in her world, but because of their strong bond and the feeling of security she feels with Maya, Abby slowly came out to the real world. Maya taught the most important thing you can teach a child, “courage”. Face the world with it. She made her believe, as long as she tries, she can do whatever she puts her heart in to. It’s not all about winning; it’s all about going for what you want. I remember one episode when Abby tried to compete with the kids at the park with their paper planes. Richard, in attempt to protect his baby, immediately assumed that Abby cannot do it. Never limit your child’s potential. Maya, knowing that, she encouraged Abby to never give up. Always believe. Always dream. Just like what Maya did.
I was told that the song’s original lyrics says “drive”, instead of “fly”. Nevertheless, that song is perfect for Maya. It was so refreshing seeing the whole family sing together. The viewers can definitely see the sense of togetherness and those two families merging to one. From playing guitar with Luke to singing and dancing with the mom and dad (Alex and Richard), music has always been the symbol of happiness to Lim’s family. Amongst other things that died with Alex, music is one of them. Little by little with the help with Maya, that’s another factor she brought back to the family. And now with the full force of the De La Rosas, both families are singing the tune of happiness. While Kute was looking at Richard and Maya as she was singing, sends the perfect message. Now that she’s ready, Maya will fly anywhere her heart desires. Her dream will take her places she couldn’t have imagined. No one can limit her dream and with that she will take Richard along with her…
After hearing his dad’s story at pagta-taxi nito…“Oh My Gee. You saved the day Dad. You’re the hero.”

Wow!!!! Super amazing ang acting skills ni Aiza. Direk Panying and Tart were telling us that Aiza didn’t need blocking for that scene. Basta sabi lang niya kaya na daw niya. Take na! Sabi ni Tart from scene daw na nakakatawa with her and Sabel yelling “Kute!” bigla na daw may tears na si Aiza. Super galing talaga!!!
Sabi ni Direk, Aiza is really good, the moment she said action, her tears were rolling. Tart said they were all crying with that scene.
I agree!!! pa entrance pa lang si Kute, madadala kana sa iyak niya! ang galing talaga!!!
Somehow i knew today was going to be a lay low type of epi where the kilig is minimal and the meat of the story is light. Aba if you really think about it, we have had some really high high moments these past few weeks. We need some much needed down time more relaxed, no MRT stress and no suspense effect. Just plain family bonding time.
Abby’s gift to Maya is one of the most touching moments of todays episode. I just wish they didn’t rush it. I have a soft spot for the Maya/Abby relationship. There were many times that i cried because of their touching scenes. They were two peas in a pod. Where one is, there is the other and Maya really took care of her. On twitter last night BCWMH was asking what are the some of the favorite lessons that Maya taught Abby. For me it is about budgeting and essentially “ipon” and also about the fact that sometimes the people around you will not be with you always. What is important is to keep their memory in your heart.
Ser Chief of course is very intuned with everything that is going on around him and he always thinks one step ahead. He knew there was no time today for talking about the ILY or even to think of their relationship. Today is about Maya and in his own unselfish way, he, once more puts his feelings aside for Maya’s sake…no pressure. He will wait his turn….he is happy to do so. In the meantime, he is content in just watching Maya in all her happiness on this perfect day. His heart is full just seeing that everyone is having a good time, even the kids, the hired help and the elders. Its definitely heartwarming.
A note to Ser Chief:
Dear Ser Chief…parang awa mo na, i seat belt mo naman si Abby. Por Dyos por santo pag naaksidente kayo lilipad yan sa windshield. Haynaku…babatukan kita e. Nikki as well. Don’t ride a moving vehicle without a seat belt. Thats all. Kthanx Bubye!

G-R-R-R-R after last night’s episode I stayed up all night trying to fix the glitch in my account. I belive a couple of my posts yesterday. Pity I wanted to join the carousel of comments for Monday re Abby and Cho’s absence during the graduation Kodak moments. It was indeed a glaring omission. Abby being an integral part of the story and her ala-umbilical cord connection to Maya and of course Cho being her godson. The wizard tells me that Abby and Cho being minors were probably restricted under ….Republic Act (I just had to say it as it amuses me to no end!!) ..child labour laws of DOLE/DSWD on the number of working hours. Being that the cast were working through the wee hours of the morning to can future episodes during their world tour, the Kodakan shooting was very late hence….the toilet excuse for Cho.

Nung una feeling ko kawawa si SC late na sa graduation naging photographer pa. Buti na lang bumawi, siya pala ang last… grabeh ang titigan ayiiiiiiiiii!!!!
sir chief sensed that she would say differently like i did not mean it , nabigla lang ako or i’m not ready.
she would not let maya finish it for the reason that whatever it was, good or bad, he would not spoil her
big day. it was her big day with all the family together to celebrate. i just admired sir chief ability to be
patient and never pushed the issue. just to be there was enough even though there was some doubts
whether they were really a couple or still not there yet.
most of us men would not go through that patience to the max. as if we are not worthy as a man to be
loved by your ideal woman. and mostly, it could be a blow on your pride and ego. (we are famous of)
if i was in that situation, i would just probably accept and try to forget the whole drama. there is a saying
there are lot of fish in the ocean” and if you want me then i will find somebody else who is worthy of my
love and happiness. but again it is case by case love story, some people would not give up.
but i was just assuming that would be the story line. love is really a full of mystery.
even though it was not shown on their faces, i could sense that there was no mutual agreement between
the two party. if you remember, manang fe said “sinagot kana ba niya” and you could see the doubts of sir chief face.
or it was the writer ingenuity to be discreet about it just like a mystery.
it is only the beginning of the week and many more mystery would unveil. this episode keeps us go back
to the sad mood again. i would not be surprise if you would be jumping up with joy at the end of the week.
by the way, jeff and ? have this chemistry. she played her role very well like a pro. this is the portion that
rekindle the kilig scene again . i guess kute and jeff would never be together even though they have a son.
it happens in every family but they remain friends.

Ok ok! So during the rehearsal, binulungan ni Tart (Doris) si SC na kajootin daw ni SC si Maya when they hug. Somehow, Maya found out. During the take, Maya’s lower body was far back, so parang naka stick out yung butt nya expecting the kajoot. Mamang and Direk got mad at her and told her it looked awkward. She was told na dapat lapat yung mga katawan nila for the real take. They did! Sayang there’s not side view of the hug.\
Kahit redundant na at palagi na lang akong nag wa waaaaaaah with almost every episode, mag wa waaaaaaaaaah at aatungal pa rin ako.

My take? From the network’s perspective: they want to end the series with a big bang. Additionally, they want to do it while it is still at its height so that they can sell anything and everything that is BCWMH-related. After all, they still are running a business here.
It seems to me, from the network’s history, they conduct a world tour for those hit dramas just before they air the final episode.

I think it’s a combination of both. Maya has thought it through after nag-usap sila ni NT the night before and then again after nag-usap sila ni Ser Chief. And she was ready to make the commitment. Actually I thought she knew she was ready the same day nagtapat is SC coz at the airport she said ‘yung tanong in Ehman’… sagot, oo. Ehman asked 2 questions ‘Handa ka na ba?’ and ‘Mahal mo ba sya?’ After knowing up to what ends Ser Chief will go through ‘to make her happy’, she is so happy herself that she also wanted to share with him what she feels, starting with the ILY. Ser Chief is nabigla of course at hindi niya inaasahan but at the same time he can’t express the happiness he feels after hearing those 3 sweetest words coming from Maya. But then they are so in sync with each other and since what they have is this selfless love, Maya feels she has to reassure SC that hindi lang sya nabigla. And at the same time Ser Chief is thinking mag-wo-worry na naman si Maya and he doesn’t want her to detract from enjoying this one special day with everyone, kaya siempre, sya na lang ang mag-sacrifice. Bukas na lang… Ang sweeettttttttt….
Nagtataka lang ako sa mga kaganapan kanina:
1- hindi nakakain si Kute? Di ba nakapila na sila ni Nay Teresita bago nag-yakapan sina SC at Maya? Ano yun? hindi na niya tinuloy kumuha ng food?

I think Jodi is professional enough and has good manners na gawin ang mag text or magkalikot ng phone nya while having a live chat especially na walang nakakaligtas sa mga mata ng mga fans ng be careful.

This is the episode right after Maya’s graduation. Tumuloy sila sa bahay nina Simon para sa munting salo-salo na may kantahan sa videoke.
Kwela talaga ang dorbel, eh kung love triangle na lang kaya sila ni simon…

Maraming flashbacks as filler kasi they’re stretching until they can go back to taping after the world tour.
Ang gift ni Abby nakaframe yong drawing niya si Maya kaya pinahanap siya ni SC noon kasi alam niyang gusto siya ni Abby.
Kasyang-kasya yung picture frame sa bag ni Maya.
May silbi naman pala yun bag. (Pinagdiskitahan talaga ang bag)
Ibinitin pa talaga ang 1st gap sasabihin pa lang ni Maya yun tungkol sa pag I love you niya.
Ser Chief kinakabahan biglang cinut si Maya nung sasabihin yung tungkol sa sinabi nya haha biglang iniba buti sinabi ulet ni Maya, yun lang biglang BITIN.
RICARDO!!! GRRRRRRRR!! Ready na sya sabihin eh!! Cinut mo nanaman.
Ang Daddy oblivious sa kilig ng dalaga niya sa likod dahil kinikilig din! Kung hindi si Nikki, si Abby ang makakapansin sa dalawang to. Malabong si Luke dahil masyadong pre-occupied sa pagiging nerd.
While on the car going to Simon’s house, magka text si Nikki at Nicolo, sabi sa text:
Nicolo: Hintayin kita magcollege kasi magma-magna ako.
Nikki: As in magna cum laude?
Nicolo: Magna nine years sa college.
Ok nadoon na ako! I’ve read everyone’s entry up to this point. I am not even going to go there because you all have covered all the points eloquently. But I just want to highlight a few things.
Ang sweet ni Sir Chief! He finds joy simply just being in Maya’s presence even though it means that he sits at the kitchen table and watch her do the dishes. He takes the time to show his heartfelt appreciation to the Dela Rosas for allowing him and his entire household to be a part of their family celebration of their dear Maya’s graduation. He doesn’t even forget Simon and his generosity in offering them a house wherein they can hold the party and, more importantly, a safe place where Maya can truly savor her family bonding time. And he takes the time to seek out Kute just to reassure her that he is sincere in his intentions with her little sister. He leaves no one who is important to Maya, out.
Then, there is his pensive mood. Plagued by the thought that Maya may not have meant what she said about “loving him too,” brings his insecurities to the fore. He finds himself truly vulnerable to possibly being hurt. For a classic Type A personality whose traits include logical reasoning, thoroughly rational, analytic to the nth degree, he finds himself totally out of his safety zone. The “talk” with Manang Fe may have quelled his anxiety a little bit but, not by much. However, he still appreciates that, at least, he is able to openly verbalize his feelings and reflect with someone else what he is anxious about.
Dear old Mamang is not in the know. She is totally clueless to what is happening around her. Maybe her senses are not as sharp as when she was younger and this frustrates her to no end. Eager to contribute to the entertainment portion of the party, she is terribly disappointed that her “gift offering” for the celebration is rudely interrupted by some technical difficulty. Then, it goes downhill from there for Mamang. It doesn’t help that Richard unintentionally left her out in his list of people to show appreciation to. She is visibly disturbed that Nanay T gets the hug and she gets not even a word of goodbye from him. Hence, when the sisters are having a great time talking in the living room, she loudly ordered them to get to bed. This is simply her way of venting some of the ill feelings she has felt thus far.
And there is good old Capt James Ventura. I am not even going there. Most of you have already weighed in on what you think his return means. But like JR R said, let us just enjoy the ride and let the events unfold. After all, the able writers of this show have done such an exemplary job toying with our feelings for the more than 200 episodes that this saga has been on hitherto. So, like Sir Chief said, “Bukas na lang.” And we continue to look forward to however many more bukas this show has. I, for one, am going to personally savor every bukas that they will remain on the air.

Both of them by the sink and Maya wiuld insist Ser Chief should just sit down and it will end up in a water fight, tapos RY will be soaking wet and he would have no choice but to take his shirt off and

Yeah, I noticed the bewildered / hesitant look in Ser Chief’s face after the hugging scene when he said “Maya..” and also in the preview when Manang Fe asked ” Sinabihan ka na ba niya na mahal ka niya?”
I think Ser Chief has yet to understand the repercussions of Maya’s “I LOVE YOU”
And if it’s true (according to the post above) that they’re gonna have that “clarification talk” next week….well, then we’re up for more HOPIA moments so prepare.

Woohoo! A hundred million points goes to Manang Fe for being so intuitive! She probably heard all the questions I had from yesterday’s episode. After watching it for the nth time, I noticed that there was something amiss about Richard ‘s demeanor yesterday. Now I know why. Somebody posted once before how this show showcases different kinds of love….motherly love, sisterly love, fatherly love, love between friends and who couldn’t forget Maya’s love for Ser Chief. And we’ve seen Maya’s love for Abby as well. But today, it showcased another generation’s ‘yaya love’ to her alaga. That was such a tender moment for the both of them that I got teary eyed again. Ang kulit ni Manang Fe. Derederecho, pati si Ser Chief nagulat! LOL.
Another kind of love I forgot to mention and y’all probably know by now, is my love for not just the character of Ser Chief but for Richard Yap himself. Ha ha ha. Sorry… Isisingit talaga ano! Enough of the churvalu about how good of an actor he is or how good he looks. . We all know how much of an eye candy he is. I am talking about his whole persona outside of BCWMH. He is a real role model for all the guys out there. An ideal husband to Melody…. A great family man, a great dad and he is one smart guy too! Ang dami kong cheche bureche ano… To borrow Maya’s words…” Posible pala to no? “…..That i can be in love with another person other than my husband? I don’t know what it is na maka LP sa akin. Must be his lopsided smile with matching dimple or his tender voice?
Hay naku, I am in a trance again. I lost my train of thought. That’s why I just leave the reviews to Rhoda, Jan, Winnie, Suki and everybody else. It is hard to be objective when all I can think of is ” haiz! Kelan ko pa kaya mahalikan yang mokong na yan?”

Their show in Canada will be May 17 & 19, right now nasa Florida pa sila. I think Tuesday will be Disneyworld for them. I’m glad they have some down time so they can rest kaya lang they’ll have major jet lag when they get back to Manila.

BUKAS NA LANG
In the kitchen, post party, it looked like SC wanted to talk to Maya but although they were alone for a split second, he knew the time wasn’t right. He was content to just watch Maya work and then watch the sisters interact with each other.
After finally inspecting Maya’s pin, Abby and Cho, although they are still children clearly showed their influences in their lives. Abby was worried that Maya, upon starting her career, will not have time for her anymore. Maya is not only Yaya, friend, teacher, pseudo Mom, but she is also a role model. Someone that she could look up to and now someone she wants to be like….a stewardess so they can fly together. The same goes for Cho when he said he wanted to be like his Mom. It became a reality check for Kute realizing that everything she does influences her son. This is Parenting 101.
At the gate, there were significant exchanges of goodbyes, notably Manang Fe and Nanay T. They sure have genuine appreciation for one another and their common ground is their love, care and concern for Maya. Nanay T and Ser Chief…the embrace tells you how much respect they had developed for one another. The conversation at the theme park is the right thing to do and that is one feather to Ser Chief’s hat. Not only did they get to know each other, SC made it clear to Nanay T his intentions for Maya which ultimately lead to Nanay T giving him her blessing. Sir Chief and Kute… SC’s action when he picked her up from the bus station proved to Kute what Maya is to SC. Nevertheless, she needed to ask SC to please guide and understand Maya, afterall, she has never been through a relationship before. SC assured her that he knows Maya worked hard to get here and he values it and will not get in the way of her continued success.
Finally, Maya and Ser Chief…it was short but full of meaning. In the midst of all that has happened after their last date at PUS, a very significant ILY happened but came with mixed emotions for Ser Chief. He is elated, confused, excited and full of unanswered questions. If Maya had to know when SC felt he fell in love with her, SC needs assurance that Maya really is truly feeling what she said to him. So the “Bukas na lang” means a lot of things for both of them. It also means that Maya is starting her life as an FA, a career she’s dreamed of all her life, and the leaving of the most important people in her life going back to reality. For SC, it is back to being a single parent, CEO of his huge aviation services company and hope for clarity in his relationship with Maya. “Bukas na Lang” puts off what is now, time to think and assess and come back ready to face the truth. I personally can’t wait.
Kute and Maya talking and bonding as sisters is so much fun to watch because it reminded me of how my sisters and me are when we get together. Maya was excited to impart her feelings for SC and then offered to keep her promise to send Kute towards her dream. Although Kute didn’t know what to say, she will leave Maya with that thought in mind.
Manang Fe and Ser Chief…OMG! No one needs to tell Manang Fe for she knows Richard more than anyone. She has to help Richard see clearly how he needs to pursue the path to a clear understanding of his relationship with Maya. Her insistence suggests to Richard to move it along and then tackle the biggest and most important beast…his children. They are almost to the finish line…just a little more and Manang Fe could see this and that is why she has this heart to heart talk with Ricardo.
The next episode of them going to Alex’s gravesite put a lump on my throat. The family, in the attempt of moving on had to have their time with Mom. Most importantly, this scene allowed Richard to tell Alex that he is finally seeing a future for him; a future of happiness that is Maya.
No matter how much I edit , talagang mahaba. Sorry na lang ha. Actually to those viewers that say that this episode is STRETCHING the story, I am sorry to say you are dead wrong. This episode is so full of meaning compact into a 20 minute segment. I say it is simply brilliant.

BCWMH Balitang showbiz
I think it’s the kids who are having a shoot since last week while the adults are away if I’m not mistaken. Kaya lang the audience prefers pa rin kasi SC and Maya episodes eh and these two can’t stretch naman their already hectic scheds. Sana lang tho, when they return at dahil tapos na rin ang election, they could devote more time again sa BCWMH na. Dami na rin kasi nilang engagements outside of BCWMH kaya even the time they are supposed to devote to rest nakukuha pa ng outside engagements nila. As they say, it’s not forever na magiging in demand sila kaya siguro they are taking advantage of the opportunities coming their way. So we can’t exactly blame them!
As for the show, the storyline these last two weeks demands kasi the two’s presence so parang di puede na magkasubstitute sila. Pero siguro in the future, ma-break down ang episode in such a way na di ngarag ang dalawang lovebirds and in so doing, medyo magiging mahaba-haba ang duration of every gap.
her schedule with Maya and her flight is in San Nicolas. Weeeeeh sana di maligaw si Ser Chief! In case that will happen sana Ser Chief can manage to change his ticket papuntang San Nicolas. In my dream, ito na yung one picture where Ser Chief gave flowers to Christina Rose and Nay Teresita. And they where in the romantic place of Maya’s parent. I do hope na ito na yung katuparan dun sa promise ni Ser Chief kay Maya na they will go back to that place to change the bad memory into a very romantic memory for both of them. Weee feeling ko lang! 🙂

Good mor-night co fan-addicts. I expect another sleepless night for me after watching this epicsode. Once again I was in a cauldron of emotions – sobbing, chuckling, aaahhhh-ing and ayyay-ing….simultaneously. Just when I thought it would be smooth sailing for Ser Chief and Maya, Capt “Marvel” returns! Yes, I think so too that Maya’s big surprise from Capt. Marvel will be the flight assignment switch to San Nicholas which he will be piloting. I wonder if SC will be left holding the durian? A very intriguing situation but I love it. With the wise counsel of “Yoda” (Manang Fe as Rhoda Icasiano calls her) and after baring his love for Maya to Alex, SC will transform to Richard the Lion-Heart. We will be in for a bumpy ride…I better fasten my “bedbelt”. Maybe Maya and SC will share Nanay Teresita’s most romantic place and Maya will carve their initials next to Nanay and Arturo’s. I wonder what Maya’s term of endearment for Richard will be. Dear Chief? Ser Chief is so unique but they are on equal footing now.
The downer for me is Jeff’s potential love interest Sara. Maria Clara she’s not. Kute showed some feelings for Jeff when she told Maya she followed him on his date so I thought the writers will re-invent the wheel. Maybe it is inevitable if Jeff will indeed leave the show…say it isn’t so Winnie (Ontiveros).
I felt a twinge in my heart when Richard and family returned home. The mansion seemed empty and cold without Maya, their sunflower. No offense to Manang Fe but her coffee service is not the same. I miss those scenes. I was waiting for Maya to offer SC coffee in Simon’s kitchen.

Turn Over a New Leaf
A warm hug from Nanay to Richard meant so much. It was almost like she was giving him her blessing. Now that she has to be away from Maya again, she knows she’s leaving her with someone who will truly take care of her. She thanks Richard for humbling himself and being the reason behind her daughter’s happiness. But most importantly, for loving Maya the way a man should love a woman. Being as thorough as Richard is, there’s one more person he needs to reassure, Christina Rose (Kute). They both know Maya has so much love to give, to the point that she forgets to reserve some for her. As promised to Maya and to Nanay, Richard made the same promise to Kute. He will wait and will never let Maya be in a position where she has to choose between and him and her dream. Richard once again proved that he’s not a road block, but instead he’s Maya’s, as I mentioned before, personal cheerleader, mentor and her engineer.
I believe this episode is crucial, because it sets up the next steps that need to happen. Just like what Manang Fe mentioned, now that they’ve determined what they are (so she thought), the children need to be added in the equation. Richard didn’t expect things would happen this quickly. He’s prepared to wait and let Maya focus on her new life. Now he’s faced with letting his children know. Especially now, that hiding his emotions is just becoming harder and harder. But first, Richard also needs reassurance. I mentioned in yesterday’s episode, this isn’t the first time Maya said those words to Richard. He wants to make sure that Maya wasn’t just caught up in the moment and that she is truly ready for this. This, meaning a relationship. When Richard mentioned, “I’m not sure is Maya knows what she’s getting in to.”, this shows their age gap. Richard’s been there and done that. On the other hand, Maya is just starting to experience new things. Richard is not looking for whatever is good enough for “right now”. He’s looking for someone he can spend the rest of his life with. A true partnership that he once lost. Can’t really blame him for second guessing what Maya said. He played “tag you’re it” game with her multiple times. Since, he’s ready to wait, he’s not going to push it. The last thing he wants to hear right now, is Maya telling him again that she was just caught up in the moment.
It’s just unfortunate that Maya and Richard didn’t get to talk. Otherwise, Richard would’ve known Maya doesn’t need time to think about what she said. Maya had thought about this over and over and now she’s fully trusting Richard with her heart. She’s aware this is something she needs to validate with Richard.
Once, they get a chance to be on the same page, seems like both characters are starting a new chapter. Maya, as a fulfilled woman and on top of that finally claiming her bonus. And Richard, someone who used to be so broken, but now full of life and love. Together, they will turn over a new leaf….

Thinking positively, maybe the reason SC hesitated in discussing the ILY of Maya was that baka natatakot siyang bawiin na naman ni Maya. And my take on the teaser was that MF asked also about the effect on the kids kaya parang problematic looking naman si SC. hopefully, eto lang ang reason for the lack of elation on SC’s part.

FLASHBACK MEMORIES 
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched and re-watched this episode. The kodakan scene is I think the most romantic scene I have ever seen. I love Juris and Sam’s version of the song, it was so perfect for the scene, feeling ko sasabog na ang puso ko….. I loved it when Maya turned her face toward his neck as she uttered the 3 words….parang naamoy ko rin si Ser Chief. I loved the way he sheepishly said “wala pa” when Nikki asked him if he already has a pic with Maya…. I loved the joy in the face of Ser Chief as he takes pictures of everyone….I loved it when Ser Chief was just watching Maya from a distance with her classmates, so proud and so in love, he was oblivious of Simon trying to get his attention.. And the exchange of glances during the picture taking, i can’t get over it..haaaayyyy
Of course everybody knows Kute will make it to the pinning, but they did such a good job, it made the viewers cry.
This is indeed one of may favorite episodes…Thanks so much makers of BCWMH…
