As Richard turns over a new leaf, he kneels down to connect with Alex once more as he says good bye to her. Instead of living in her memories, he is now packing some pieces of his heart wrapped in distant smiles and those special memories in special box tucked away in his heart. Just like he said, what him and her shared is and will forever will be in him. Everyday he’s constantly reminded of Alex, her laughter, her good heart, her humor. And that’s because of their three children: Luke, Nikki and Abby. Richard is not trying to replace Alex nor forgetting about her. Alex was the love of his life. Nothing will ever change that. Richard says good bye as he says hello to his new life. Because of Maya he can now look at his previous life with a smile in his heart. She completed his process of letting go. No more anger, no more bitterness. Richard is ready to build new memories. Richard is ready for his new life…as Alex would’ve wanted.
Still in the theme of saying good bye, James graciously stepped down and respected Maya’s decision. Giving the two a chance to be happy together. He may not have the same charisma like Richard, but James is good man in his own way. He did not push. He did not ask. Even with his defeat, he’s able to focus on what’s important, which is friendship. He too understands how important family is to Maya. He couldn’t have given her any better gift than time to spend with the people she loves. With one last hug, James simply turns around as he says good bye. Good bye Captain James Ventura…you will be a forever friend.
Now on his hello…There’s nothing more flattering for a woman than her man showing she’s a priority. Richard talks so fondly of Maya. While he was talking to Liza, he had nothing but smiles. Even in a middle of an important meeting, he still picked up her call. Oh Maya, you completely took over this man!. Now, Richard is brewing yet another surprise for his woman. What’s good about Richard is everyday, as if it’s his first time falling in love with her. Everyday, he never stops trying to win Maya’s heart. ..
Side note: I’m going to go on a tangent here. Speaking of the grand opening of the new Lim Aviation Hangar in Clark and with even press present, this will be the perfect timing for the couple’s first coming out. Richard will walk in this even with Maya in his arm. Oh well, this is just a thought…
SC/Kute convo sa bahay nina Simon.
SC: Cristina Rose aalis na kami.
Kute: Sir, sobrang salamat po, sobrang salamat po talaga kanina.
SC: You don’t have to thank me Cristina Rose.
Kute: Ah Sir Richard may sasabihin lang sana ako sa inyo eh dahil syempre tungkol ito sa kapatid ko, alam mo yun?
SC: Don’t worry, Cristina Rose I’ll take care of Maya and of I won’t do anything to hurt her.
Kute: Ay alam ko naman po yun eh gusto ko lang naman po sanang sabihin na, siguro Sir medyo alalayan nyo na lang first time niya sa ganito, first time niya talaga. Hindi ko po talaga kayo matitimbrihan kung paano siya sa kunyari naging kayo ganyan pero sigurado po ako si Maya po yun tao na hindi sumusuko, hindi sumusuko yun lalo sa taong mahal niya. Minsan nga ano eh nakakalimutan na niya ang sarili niya dahil dahil mas inuuna niya ang taong mahal niya.
Word picture: The writers are holding a sling shot. They are aiming it up towards the stars. Sir Chief and Maya are symbolized by the stone projectile that they are going to shoot heavenward. And we, the viewers, are watching in the sidelines, with bated breath, anticipating the moment that they are going to load the stone into the pocket of the sling. One of the writers stoops down to pick up THE stone. We hold our breath. Then, he carefully nestles it into the pocket of the sling shot. This is represented by Sir Chief and Maya’s closure scenes with Alex and Capt. James Ventura, respectively. Those scenes put their minds at ease. This in turn prepares them for the next step that they are going to make. ….to fully and wholeheartedly commit/dedicate/offer themselves to each other. We sigh. When the writer pulls on the stretchable material of the slingshot from its solid frame, the airplane that carries our two lovers are also taking off towards their destination…..to fulfill their destiny of making a future together as a couple. We hyperventilate.
Weeeeeeee. I can’t wait for the stone to drop on May 20th. I am 100% sure it is going to hit the target…..bullseye! Exhale.

To Ser Chief and Sir James, that a man! Ser Chief is an exceptionally intelligent man! He knows every move he’s doing and make certain that everything falls into place. He’s very clever and is born with it. He’s very careful, straightforward, smart, and quick to decide on dealings with everything. As for Sir James, I admired your gracefulness in accepting your defeat in winning Maya’s heart. You embraced it gracefully and handled it well with a little humor. Emman, you’ve always been sweet and tender when it comes to Maya. You’re a great friend that is worth-keeping for. You never left Maya alone, you’re always there for her in good times and in bad times. To The Lims kids, I could see how far you have grown. I could see a little question mark (?) in your faces when it comes to your dads. You start noticing something about him, huh?! I guess, you’re right, kiddos! Daddy is dating! Oooppss….someone wants to be noticed here… who is it? You know, who I meant.

SC: Walang kailangan magsabi sa akin Ricardo, paglabas na paglabas mo pa lang sa Nanay mo ako ng nag-alaga sa’yo. Alam ko ang bawat kunot ng noo mo, bawat taas ng boses mo kahit na pag ngiti mo alam ko, ganyan na ganyan ang ngiti mo ng sinagot ka ni Alex.
SC: I can’t hide anything from you can I?
Sara is the straightforward woman that wants to mark her territory. Willand comes to mind with his dog. Inihian ang paa ni Jeff. I am curious how this is all going to play out.
The mausoleum scene can be broken down to different parts…this is a simple way of showing important issues in the story without heavy dramatics. But not surprisingly this scene is very effective and it delivers the message it wants to the audience. Aquarium time for me for sure.
Greetings to Alex
First, the kids talk to Alex and to tell her their achievements and most specially to say Happy Mother’s Day. Richard’s quietness means he is giving them their space to say things to their Mom without hesitation or interruption from him. Luke has a strong sensibility to lead the kids out of the mausoleum to give Richard privacy to speak to Alex.
Richard to Alex
He looks back to make sure the kids are not accidentally hearing what he had to say. He starts of about Luke and his heartbreak then he continues on to telling her about his newfound relationship. His face was bright, not cheery but kind and sincere. He acknowledges that nothing can replace what they had after all she gave him three wonderful children. But he knows that she would want him to move on and have a wonderful life and he could see it happening with her. “I can see it with Maya”…
(cue music here – cue waterworks ha ha)
About Maya
Richard’s face became happy, dimple showing, his stance got looser as if he is imagining Maya while he spoke about her. She makes me smile again he says, including Manang Fe. She makes everyone smile. I guess its her way. She always finds a reason to be happy. Nakakahawa…Simple words but sincere and truthful. It is a complete display of how Richard sees Maya as a whole…he really loves everything about her.
About the Kids
Richard knows that the most sensitive issue is about the kids. He tells Alex he has not told them but assures her that when the time comes, he will be sensitive to their feelings and will give them time to accept it.
I have to go Alex…Goodbye
A touch to the cold stone, simple words but it pierced deep into my heart. Richard said it all as if he was closing that part of his heart, keeping all of his love and memory of Alex in tact and in place. He is now ready to open the other part to his new love. Ready for tomorrow.

Yall know what happened next…CJV graciously exiting and not accepting just a handshake for Maya but a hug (sorry hindi pa rin as kilig as the hug Richard gives to Maya). And we all know, nagaligaga pa tayo about the teaser, hindi naman pala mamimiss ni SC yong trip ni Maya sa San Nicolas. Kaya lang si SC naman ang paiwas ngayon. Anubayan…Sa Monday na nga ang kakilig kilig na paguusap sa most romantic place ni Nanay T.
MF: Alam ko rin pag nag-iba ang usapan.
SC: She said something, but I don’t know if that what she meant.
MF: Sinabi na ba niya na mahal ka niya?

MF: Kaya nga kayo mag-uusap di ba?. Natatakot kang bawiin ‘no? Ikaw talagang bata ka o siya sige ikaw ang bahala pero ang importante ipadama mo sa kanya kung gaano mo siya kamahal, anuman ang estado nyo ngayon.

Ser Chief and Kute Convo was heartwarming in its own right. The Ate asking for assurance from Ser Chief (soon-to-be-official-bf) that he won’t hinder Maya from achieving her dreams. In a way, Kute also assured Ser Chief that Maya is the type of person won’t easily give up on the person she loves (while gesturing her hand towards Ser Chief).
This is it guys!!! abang-abang na lang, confirmation na lang ni Maya kelangan ni SC, tapos dealing with the kids na!!!!

but behind this happiness there´s a guilt that i can feel. From the past episodes where Capt James Ventura was around and
played his “Capt. Presko” role, i was so honest how I felt about it, I often mentioned, I have nothing against him, but still, I judged him so soon.
Thought he will be the one who will make everything difficult for Richard, but I was wrong. For a short time of period, Capt. Ventura saw Maya´s determination to fulfill her dream. And at the same time believe the she´s a good asset for Time Airways. Not once, but thru the whole journey of her training, she proved it…that she deserved what she achieved. Where she is now, is no one but alone her hardworks. Everybody knws that. But there
are some people who also gave a hand for her dreams… her family and friends. (Well, that´s how i looked at it). Capt. Ventura belong
to this people who gave a “friendly hand” … for whatever reason he did that, Maya was thankful for that. Maybe not the right word to say, but
Capt. Ventura used his position and made it possible (there´s no need, though) for Maya to joined the training. Why i´m putting good words for him?
Simply because it was unfair from me not to see his good side, instead, i focused with Capt. Ventura´s panggugulo kay Maya. Only a true
gentleman can accept his defeat, that´s what he showed today. Respected Maya´s decision, and showed too that he can be a good friend to her…
Aside from having Richard in my mind while thinking of this song (we´re all aware that Richard
will do everything to make Maya happy), i thought, Capt. James Ventura did a great job
today. With his farewell surprise gift, again, he used his position (sorry for my own interpretation of Capt. Ventura´s way of helping her)
to make Maya´s wish possible, to have her first fly going to San Nicolas…
It happened that i´m playing this with my guitar, before i watched the show, so i thought, a song
for Richard and Capt. Ventura to Maya?… and please don´t get me wrong if didn´t talked
much about Richard and Maya. For sure, we´re all excited about their coming surprise “date” in San Nicolas?
One thing i don´t want to forget, as Richard shared the last moment with Alex with all the
memories that can never be replace. He said his goodbye and welcome the new happiness he found with Maya.
I felt the heaviness in my heart, but admired Richard so much.

If in fairy tales, we find wicked witches trying to get into the making of a beautiful love affair. Here, we have a good looking captain (not wicked though),
who always appear from nowhere, making his own move to please a girl who already admitted of loving a special man. I am amazed with Captain James personality he is such a gentleman enough to accept that Maya would just be her friend. Sometimes, true love doesn’t have a happy ending, because true love never ends. There are things that we don’t want to let go of, the people we never want to leave behind. But lets keep in mind that letting go isn’t
the end of the world, it’s the beginning of a new life and one way of saying I love you to the person you love the most.
Ser Chief, you are the man! of all the people around you that you can open off all the things that’s going on in your love life e kay Alex ka unang nagsabi. It’s very heartwarming scene. Weeeeeeeeeehhh speechless
Emman, I am so happy you are back! The first time I saw you with Maya I knew you would be a good friend. A friend who knows the song in Maya’s heart and sing it back when she forgot the lyrics of the song. You already prove it because you never left Maya. In times she need some one to talk with you we’re there and in times of her sorrow you help her laugh and put her happiness in its place.
Maya, yes Ser Chief is busy. Tomorrow you will be surprise bear in mind Maya, that Ser Chief personality is full of surprises. Just wait and see

Captain James Ventura has already proven time and time again, na helpful siya sa progress ng relationship ni Maya and Ser Chief. I’m wishing na may romantic stunt na gagawin si Ser Chief sa Davao flight and that humingi siya nang favor kay Ventura.

So, he’s finally moving on. Oh, please tell the kids already after this! But this is my greatest fear. Buti andyan si Manang Fe to give him practical advices.

Overall, I liked this episode more than the two previous ones. It had more “meat” to it. I just love love love Dorbel and Mamang! They make the show really fun to watch. I feel for Mamang, she looked like she really wanted to get a hug from Ricardo.

Sarah and Jeff- I still can’t get over the fact that KUTEFF won’t be around anymore in a few days. I wonder, how will the writers deal with Jeff’s exit from the show? How will Kute and Jeff explain this to Cho?
Ser Chief however, is still skeptical about Maya’s I LOVE YOU as I’ve predicted. They really need to sit down and talk about where they really are.
While Ser Chief confides with Manang Fe that he doesn’t know if Maya even knows what she’s getting into. Maya talks to Kute about planning on her term of endearment for Ser Chief. So, magka-iba sila talaga ng tingin.
In Ser Chief’s eyes, they’re still on the limbo stage. Meanwhile, in Maya’s eyes, SILA NA. Magulo talagang usapan. I sure hope that by Friday, we’ll get a glimpse of the “making it official” stage.

I love how they portray unselfish love sa BCWMH. Inspite of the fact that Maya already said ILY to SC, SC was more concerned whether Maya really knows what she is getting into. Kung ibang lalaki yan, sungab agad. Maya and her family never failed naman to make sacrifices for the ones they loved. Unselfish love talaga ang tinuturo ng BCWMH sa atin di lang romantic love kaya palaging napapatibok o napapakirot ng teleseryeng ito ang ating mga puso. Malalim kasi ang pinangalingan eh inspite of the fact na light drama lang ito. That’s the magic of BCWMH. kudos to the whole creative team.

Hi Alex! Nasabi na lahat sa’yo ng mga bata except for one thing. Luke just broke-up with Joey but he doesn’t want to talk about it just because he still moving on, but I’m sure he gets there. Look Alex I wanna tell you something. I met someone and things have been wonderful. I know, nothing can replace what we had, because you gave me three wonderful children, but I know that you want me to move on and have a life. And I can see that happening with her Alex. I can see it with Maya. She made everyone smile kahit na si Manang Fe.I guess it’s her way. She always finds a reason to be happy. Nakakahawa. Hindi ko pa nasasabi sa mga bat, but don’t worry. I’ll give them time hindi ko sila bibiglain.

Hmm.. I guess I’ll start with the kids. I have two opposing things here. The devil’s advocate in me says for business/commercial purposes, and in the tradition of BCWMH’s “pambibitin”, in order to further extend the show, like what most of you may already feel but just refuse to acknowledge, I think Nikki’s the one who’s going to have the most difficult time accepting her dad’s relationship with Maya. After all, she’s also the last to accept and acknowledge Maya as an “ate” figure in her family. The flip side of the coin is, which I’m sure all of us are hoping for, Nikki, like the rest of the Lim children, will surprise us with an easy acceptance of Maya as her dad’s gf and possible future wife. Remember the pinning of the wings episode, that part with the picture taking? I surmise a Nikki there who’s already suspecting something. Remember her face when she took the finally good picture of Maya and Sir Chief, when she told them she’ll take another picture of them (a total of 4 pics and this last one’s the one with Sir Chief’s hand on Maya’s shoulder)? It’s as if she saw “something” in that 3rd picture that she had to ask them for another one to verify or satisfy her own budding curiosity. 🙂 So, who knows, right? 🙂
I have always loved the quiet/reserved cheering of Lisa/Liza (?), Sir Chief’s secretary, for her boss’s change in demeanor and what she could possibly be suspecting as the cause of his happiness )Maya).
As for Maya and Sir Chief…. Nasabi na yata lahat dito eh. Haha. Let’s just say I’m rendered speechless everytime Sir Chief initiates his “damoves” and Maya reciprocates in a cute, non-annoying way (aminin ninyo, she can be annoying sometimes, in that bratty kind of way na tipong masarap nang sabunutan). I confess: I have been forwarding to the last 60 seconds everytime TFC uploads the latest episode – ayaw man lang muna simulan! Lol
Sir Chief, sabi nga ng marami: you’re the best manliligaw in town! You move mountains just to be with your special one! And just like your many admirers here, I just had to repeat, over and over again, that part where you said “Tayo na? Tayong dalawa, tayo na ‘di ba?” with matching smile/lopsided grin. *faints*
I’m sorry if I can’t remember who posted here her suggestion on how the first kiss should be but girl, we have the same idea too!! That one that starts with the forehead and slowly, with closed lips, they finally kiss, I think my heart will surely stop if I see something like that happening! Excuse me as I *faint* again….. Haaay.
Every night na lang, I giggle beside my sleeping husband pag napapanood ko na ang latest episode tapos kinabukasan, sa work ko as an airline ground crew at SFO International, lumulutang ako sa pagdedaydreaming in my mala-Maya airline uniform 🙂
Ay last appearance na ni CJV kasi nag-file daw sya ng leave… I think yung switch ng flight ang surprise ni CJV as grad gift for Maya…

As always, Richard never misses a milestone. It’s Maya’s first flight as an official flight attendant. He drops everything, including trying to strategize the grand opening for his new hangar. Which is a pretty big project for him, but of course first things first…Maya. He never seems to run out of ideas on how to her feel special. He’s definitely living up to what he said a while back that, “everyday should be Valentines’s Day”. Every move he makes it’s almost like a master piece. Nothing can seem to ruin this man’s day. If he was this disgruntled, bitter man for the past five years, those words don’t seem to exist in his vocabulary any longer. While cooking up his next big move, unfortunately, this could back fire on him. In an attempt to make everything perfect, some things are falling through the cracks. His girlfriend, although he doesn’t know it yet that she is already his girlfriend, which is the funniest part, is starting to feel neglected. Sometimes perfection is the enemy of the good.
When Luke asked Richard regarding his trip, the young man was satisfied with the one word answer he received from his Dad. As a man himself, he understood and just smiled back. Men usually do not go in to details talking about matters of the heart. Although Nikki wants to find out more, she too understood. At this point, the children are happy just to see their father smiling again. These kids were raised well and they trust their father enough to know that he will not put himself in a situation that will compromise the family. Telling the children doesn’t seem like it would be an issue. These children are smart. The way the things are happening, I wouldn’t be surprised if the kids already know that it’s their wonderful Ate Maya is the reason behind their father’s happiness. I remember one episode when Richard wanted to follow Maya at San Nicholas after their big fight. Nikki had said something, “We know you love her…” Richard didn’t seem to deny anything. Although he sweated bullets, he looked like he was about to confess something. Same thing sort of happen here. When Nikki asked where is he going exactly, Richard was ready to come clean. He responded with, “Actually…..” but ooops, Luke just had to interrupt. Richard is ready to let the children know. Thanks to Luke, cause Mr. Lim seems to be so oblivious these days. He doesn’t even know where he stands in the relationship. Therefore, that needs to happen first.
Not knowing that she’s in for a bigger surprise, Maya’s blood is starting to boil each hour that passes without hearing from Richard. The look of disappointment was clear as she looked over hoping she’ll see her Mahal na Hari. Now fear is settling in, because technically, they are a couple now. Poor Maya is probably thinking, now that Richard got what he wanted, she’s just now being pushed to the side. Even the text messages were all-star cast! From her family to even Joma, but the main star didn’t make an appearance! Pardon, Princesa as your Mahal na Hari is stuck in the land of confusion. But trust him enough, as he will never let you down….

But that being said, it is what makes us come back for more!
There is an adage that goes ABSENCE MAKES THE HEART GROW FONDER. Sir Chief employed that to the hilt in this episode. In a way, I think he was infected by the editor of this show. He was also being sadistic to Maya. But of course, that is because he wanted to put himself in a position of being in control. He wanted his surprise to work and he wanted Maya to be primed to respond positively and without question to his most important question: TAYO NA……TAYO NA DI BA?
The Lim children, on the other hand, are quite ready for the changes that they see in their Dad. They know that he loved their Mom. They also feel that he needs to move on and find someone else to love and be loved by. They themselves recognize that that is an innately human need. In fact, they are experiencing that. Luke did with Joey; Nikki does now with Nicolo. They are aware that the love that they have for him, as children to their parent, is not ever going to suffice and can never supplant what he needs. So, when they perceived the signs that their Dad maybe dating someone, they are more than willing to give him his space. They don’t pepper him with questions. By doing so, they are demonstrating how much respect and love they have for him. They are indeed giving him their blessings to do so.
Maya is at the center of this episode. Everything revolves around her………Sir Chief’s plans to surprise her by getting to San Nicolas without her knowledge and employing the assistance of her coworkers not to blow his cover…….and the Dela Rosas’ neighborhood-wide organized effort to welcome their beloved bunso on her first flight back to town as a full-fledge Flight Attendant. It seems like a circus is in the making. It will be interesting to see how Sir Chief is going to manage getting Maya alone to the most romantic place in all of San Nicolas. I guess, we just have to see how all this plays out.

a. Love it when Jodi did Maya’s seatbelt demo. She really looked the part of a flight attendant. The way she pulled her hair back, her posture…..the way
she exuded self confidence….it was truely believable! Even the passengers, na kahit extra lang also did their part well.
b. Peek-a-boo scene with Richard’s eyes sitting just right on top of the magazine, as well as the ” talukbong ” scene. That was really hilarious! Kung ako
siguro yung katabi niya, nakiki hide din sana ako under the blanket with him. Who knows what I might have done, right?
c. When Maya finally sat down to get ready for the flight and Ser Chief gave us his trademark lopsided dimpled smile na trulily nakakalaglag panty naman
talaga, I felt a tug in my heart. I can really feel how proud he was at that moment with just the way he looked at her. So glad he was there to witness
Maya’s first flight as a full fledged FA. (oy, ang daming f’s ah!)
d. The airport scene where Maya was so excited to see everyone including her kapitbahays. Finally, I get to see the old Maya once more, the one that I
have grown to love….Ms. ” positive vibes ” hyper Maya….Love how she never forgot her roots and didn’t show any hint of embarrassment dun sa baduy
na pagwelcome sa kanya.

Maya: Totoo talaga yun kasabihan nasa Diyos ang awa nasa tao ang gawa, sobrang daming ibinigay nyo sa akin na awa kaya naman gawa ako ng gawa…(checking her phone) pero itong si Ser Chief walang ginagawa eh gising na ito eh.
I really salute the writers. We told them to be careful with our hearts and they did! At first, I was somewhat disappointed that the teaser regarding our main love birds from last Friday already gave us what we got today (except for the extended kilig portion as we see Ser Chief’s antics, and our heart beats faster every second that we see the ‘tampo’ of Maya going to higher levels).
But see, we needed the break! Our hearts needed the extra diversion coming from Nic-Nic/Nik-Nik + the new girl in Luke’s life + of course how can we forget, the ‘kapitbisig sa problema, kapit bisig sa tagumpay’ of almost a whole barangay of peeps coming to see Maya! I like this part, truly pinoy na pinoy ang dating! Without these moments, our hearts and blood pressure couldn’t have handled the barrage of emotions as our two love birds goes through the roller coaster of emotions to move them to the next level in their love life!
So back to Ser Chief and Mayabels…yes, men are from mars, women are from venus. But even if at the end of the day, we’re all from the same universe, the things we do to complicate things is not because of mars & venus — but because we’re all humans.
Ser Chief, in his desire to surprise Maya, forgot that Maya could have a tampo if he doesn’t even text good luck on this very impt day, and it just so happened that it was also after she said ILY.
Maya, in her frustration with Ser Chief’s ignoring what to her was a very impt milestone because she was finally able to admit freely how she loves him, forgot everything he told her during that night under the stars, and said ‘dapat hindi ka na lang pumunta dito’.
Of course, how would one react to that? ‘I’m sorry, I thought you would like it!’ And it goes downhill from there until somebody gives up and remembers that maybe, just maybe, that there is another reason why the other side did or said what he/she did — that there is that little bit of insecurity that just needs a little bit of reassurance so the world can continue moving again!
I love Ser Chief’s eyes and brows on his first ‘Tayo na?’ — funny how it’s exactly the same as Maya’s expression when she said ‘ngayon lang k’se ako nagmahal’. Very good delivery for both of them! I had to rewind this part a million times! You can see the insecurity and I wanted to run to them as a fairy godmother to reassure both that there’s nothing to worry about…
So what’s next? Somebody has to give in and start the reassuring part hehe… and that is for today! So hindi ko na pangungunahan. Yipppeeee. I’m beside myself, singing Torete and Mahal Kita K’se all day to the confusion of everyone here in the office….

As I calm my nerves trying to get my psyche to settle down for tonight’s exhilarating scene, I can’t help but look back at our journey the last 9 months how this little fairy tale of a soap opera played out in our lives.
I watched it from Day 1 and the positivity the show propagated is astonishing and that basically got me hooked. As Maya’s life is unfolding, her family’s challenges, her decisions and her enduring courage to face them all with so much strength is something that kept me going. The relationship development with Ser Chief is also a major aspect why the show sustained. We’re all romance suckers by heart and the Maya and Ser Chief love story just gives us feverish anticipation and excitement. They’ve brought inexplicable joy to our lives.
We’ve seen the changes in us viewers as we watch the show day after day after day. We smile and laugh a lot. The chuckles our friends and family have missed are noticeable. Our life is not complete without the daily dose of Ser Chief and Maya. Others who are gifted writers have crawled out of the woodworks to share their mind-boggling reviews making us feel privileged for witnessing such talent. This show has changed not just the viewing habits of Filipinos around the world but our lifestyle as well.
I’ve got friends who are baffled why I’m so addicted to this soap and I don’t even attempt to give them a lengthy explanation but just tells them, “if you’re interested to know, start from the beginning because it is a journey that’ll give you so much laughter and love along the way”. This whole thing may seem mundane to some who thinks it’s just a waste of time but to us, it is something that will remain in us for a long time and look back someday as a journey worth taking.
PS: One last- I have to say this, one thing that makes this show stress-free is that Jodi’s and Richard’s private/personal lives are autonomous from their onscreen personas. No gimmickry at all!

May 21, I think. They moved the video contest for the May 21st episode. Siguro sa Monday, bubusogin muna ng kilig sa airplane.
Naloka ako kay Ser Chief! CEO ng Lim Aviation pero kung makatago kay Maya parang bata… daig pa si Abby.
I think this is the common thread in this whole episode. The first thread starts with Capt. James Ventura. He gives a graduation surprise for Maya. The surprise enables her to take her first ever official flight as an FA to San Nicolas. But this surprise is tempered a bit because Sir James had predisposed Maya to look out for it. Nevertheless, it serves its purpose and Maya is very appreciative of his kind gesture.
Sir James’ unexpected surprise gives birth to Maya’s idea to surprise her family in San Nicolas. She thinks she could surprise her Nanay for Mother’s Day by greeting her in person. However, this surprise is foiled when Nanay T overhears Kute’s conversation with Jeff as they discussed Maya’s flight home.
The next thread involves Nanay and the entire family as they get busy planning a surprise welcome for Maya. What Nanay T doesn’t count on is that she herself will be surprised when the entire barangay jumps into the bandwagon and becomes part of the welcoming party at the airport with no less than a congratulatory banner in tow.
Thus, when Maya arrives at the airport, excited to surprise her family, now quickly realizes that she is at the receiving end of their surprise, instead!
The second thread of surprises entails Nikki’s accidental involvement in Nicolo’s surprise for Luke. Unbeknownst to Nicolo, Nikki shows up at the mall where he has prearranged for a couple of girls to meet him and Luke. Imagine Nicolo’s surprise when he realizes that Nikki came along. Imagine Nikki’s surprise when she discovers that Nicolo may be interested in someone else, not her. Oh what a mess this could become. But, that is not really a thread I want to concentrate my time on.
The third and final thread of surprises involves Sir Chief and Maya. Sir Chief hatches a plan to secretly surprise his beloved in the grandest way he thought he could……by being on the same airplane that takes Maya on her first official flight as an FA. Since Sir Chief has been present in Maya’s entire journey in fulfilling her dream of becoming a flight attendant, by financially supporting her to attend training school and willingly becoming her guidance counselor when she felt she needed one, it is only right that he, too, is present when she takes another important milestone into her new career. Actually his surprise almost has gone south when he makes a flight reservation to the wrong destination. He almost would have swallowed the bitter pill of disappointment when he would have ended in Davao with no Maya to surprise. Thankfully, Fate intervenes! Maya’s call to Sir Chief, warns him that her flight is now to San Nicolas. That call saves the day. Whew!
Getting to San Nicolas, without Maya knowing he is one of her passengers, turns out to be comical. Sir Chief, a well-respected CEO to an international aviation company which has numerous professionals under its employ, surreptitiously hides under a blanket! Can you imagine what his colleague would make of this! He would totally be made fun of. But in this time and place, he doesn’t really care. He will do anything to ingratiate himself back into Maya’s good graces. He will do anything to make sure that he has been assured that they are indeed now a couple! He will do anything to make Maya his!
Unbeknownst to Sir Chief, another surprise passenger is on the plane to occupy Maya. Don Julio essentially takes Maya’s attention during the better part of the flight and thus Sir Chief remains safely out of her radar.
Getting to San Nicolas’ most romantic place to complete his surprise, Sir Chief has to recruit Kute’s assistance. So with Maya safely in tow, Kute delivers her to the arms of Sir Chief, who will then deliver the biggest surprise that we all have been anticipating. Well, it is not really a surprise for us, anymore, because we were in on it with him since he planned this surprise from the beginning. But the way that this whole scenario will unfold we don’t really know. We are not really 100% sure how this will all play out. And that will be OUR surprise!

Mind you guyz, my hubby is typical masculine guy na di mahilig sa chick flick at although he tolerates it para pagbigyan ako. Pero with BCWMH he is the one asking for updates kasi nga one day ahead tyo dito. When I asked him why he liked it so much, ito answer nya: “kasi hon its a real story, no BS… it is something that can really indeed happen… walang patayan at pulis na sa huli lang dumating”…
Therefore I conclude: BCWMH transcends among all sexes and ages!!!!

Holly! Yet another Friday episode where the Monday preview was more anticipated that the actual episode.
Not much to say about the rest of the episode today except for the preview really.
I really found it cute when Ser Chief covered himself with a jacket just so Maya won’t see his face
Oh and did you hear what the San Nicolas people said when they saw Ser Chief stepping out of the airport?
“Artista ba? Artista yata eh” ( Iba talaga si Ser Chief, artistahin! )
And of course, the much anticipated “making the relationship official” under the most romantic tree at the most romantic place of Nanay Tere.
Let me just get this one thing over before I forget to mention it. This episode is full of funny stuff and I love hearing the funny music come on..(the piano staccato that they play when there are funny and crazy parts) I will cover DAMOVES of Ser Chief later but right now I need to mention Mamang and her “Pisbuk”. Everytime she says it she cracks me up. Anyway…on with the show.
NIKNIK AND NICNIC (Spy #1)
OHMYGEE Nicolo is in deep trouble. How could he use his own pet name to call Nikki????Ngayon tuloy it isn’t special na. Actually, Luke knows he is in deep trouble with Nikki. And Ira???? Hmmm When I was growing up I used to have more boy friends than girl friends. And my best friend is a boy and we hung out a lot…a lot…but we were never ever so touchy feely. This Ira is a bit too close to Nicolo and if I were Nikki, I would be feeling about the same way. Nikki was so cute to spy on them. Dinamay pa si Stacey and Megan ha ha. And her palusot is so cute na she wants to spy on the girl that is supposed to be for Luke. Actually, I think Ira could be good for Luke because Luke is so uptight….He needs to loosen up a bit. Hala ka Nikki it is obvious that you have a crush on Nicolo and of course Nicolo has always liked you kaya lang of course, he is watching it because of his friendship with Luke and knowing you are still too young. For now, lets enjoy the relationship you two are starting to develop…Ayyyiiii!
THE SAN NICOLAS KAPIT BISIG GANG
Again, OHMYGEE it is so nice to see and feel the true meaning of Kapit Bisig through the gestures of everyone that has known Maya and watched her grow up since childhood. And seeing her achieve her dreams and showing their pride for her achievement is really something to admire. It makes me feel proud to be a Filipino. They were so excited not only for Maya but for the entire De la Rosa family. And Kute said it all, “Kapit Bisig sa problema, Kapit Bisig din sa tagumpay!”
YOU KNOW ITS TRUE…EVERYTHING I DO…I DO IT FOR YOU! (home of the Spy #2)
OHMYGEE! (again) It appears that Maya is not fond of surprises…i guess because she does not like the feeling she gets and the thoughts that come to her mind when she feels something is up but just can’t put her finger on it. Its one thing that she seems to have appreciated when Sir James told her that she is going to get a surprise gift from him. So when the male FA requested to swap flights with her, even though he didn’t tell her who urged him to do it, she knew (no surprises there) who pulled the string. But Ser Chief, of course, is different. He really kept his plans a secret. As a matter of fact, I think Liza probably gets a headache from his millions of “utos” for her to make reservations and cancel them, to look for a flight and then cancel it, to book a flight to one destination and then change to another. He must really pay her well for she hasn’t given up.
When Ser Chief boarded the plane and was able to sneak in to his seat really fast without being noticed, I thought wow good ninja move. And I laughed so hard doon sa nagtalukbong siya ng kumot ha ha….He quietly watched Maya be a flight attendant. It is obvious that he was so proud of her. Maya was so perfect and professional. She was born to be an FA. I am assuming that he heard the conversation with Don Julio and hopefully he understood na may tampo si Maya. He lovingly watched her as she sat down and buckled hersself.
DAMOVES continued as they arrived in San Nicolas. Kute is now in on it and she arranges for Maya and Ser Chief to finally meet at the airport parking lot at first. Ser Chief was disappointed that Maya was not happily surprised but instead was nagtatampo specially after finding out that he was on board the same flight and realizing he was the guy na nagtalukbong ng kumot ha ha. Ser Chief kasi kung maka deadma e…walang call, walang text???? But from the looks of the teaser, they will end up at Nanay T’s most romantic place….Here they finally have their talk, LQ at first but the tone in Ser Chief’s voice and Maya’s demeanor quickly shifted…after she says “di syempre akala ko na hindi ka interesado na sinagot kita”.
Note to Ser Chief: When Maya says “Bakit ka pa nagpunta dito”, that means “I am flattered you came, aaaayyyiiiii…be still my heart”.
Looking forward to: “Dapat kasi sabihin mo sa akin that everything will be ok o kung ano ba yong palagi mong sinasabi sa akin tuwing ninenerbyos ako”. “Bakit ka ninenerbyos?” “Kasi ngayon lang ako nagmahal”………..aaaaayyyyyyyyiiiiiiii!!!!!!! Kilig much…even the LQ is kilig ha ha

After reviewing today’s episode again, something made me think…why all of a sudden Nikki became soooooo interested to Doris’ story of “Prinsesa ng mga Bangs”
I was thinking that maybe this will be the way she will learn and find out about her Dad and Maya’s relationship???
There might be succeeding episodes that will show more of her interests until Abby informs her that Maya has her own version of stories that she tells to her every night and Nikki will also get her interest and will eventually lead to her realization. Very similar to the EB fanfics uploaded. If this happens in the succeeding episodes, ALAM NA!
