Winnie R OntiverosTo continue our story, Richard explained to Maya that she is his fiancé and that they are about to get married. At the same time he told her that she is already a mother to his children and that she belongs to this home. So he wants her and him to work on the redesign of the house together. When Richard asked her what she thought, she was a bit confused. Maya asked him if it’s about the design or about the fact that this is going to be her home? Richard couldn’t help it. It looks like he is enjoying Maya’s reaction so he held her face and gave her a peck on the lips. (I mean it was a smacky kiss waaaa! It’s just the first 3 minutes and I am already super duper kilig ha ha) “Both” Richard said. Maya had to come to her senses (Hmmm I think the kiss worked cuz she finally woke up ha ha) and listened to Richard. He continued to show the pictures and tell her the ideas of the interior designer. But what he is looking for are Maya’s ideas. “What do you think?” Richard asked again. Maya nodded. “Why are you nodding? Be specific. We are going to meet with the interior designer tomorrow that is why I need your input.” Richard said. Maya looks so shy but at the same time a bit giddy maybe because of the idea of the redesign and because this is going to be her home. Since Maya seems hesitant, Richard asked her if she wants them to buy a new house instead? (Wow…it’s like going to the mall and buying a puppy ha ha…Let’s go buy a new house Now na! ha ha) “No, No” Maya said. “That is too much.” “But you don’t want to cooperate?” Richard said. “Ok ok” Maya said. Then she stutters a bit and began by saying, “I like your idea to convert the guest room to our master bedroom.” (Maya was so shy and uneasy about saying the “OUR” bedroom part. In fairness to Richard, I like that idea of turning the guest room into the master bedroom after all it seems the biggest bedroom in the house. Plus they will be away from the kids ha ha They could make a lot of noise without anyone hearing them….Waaaaa!) She continued to talk about the veranda. She suggested moving the coffee table at another part of the veranda so they could have a view and asked him if they could have flowers so it would look fresh. For Nikki and Abby’s room, Maya suggested that Richard should ask Nikki and Abby what they want. Richard nodded in agreement.

Upstairs Nikki gets a call from Nicolo. She hesitated answering it but she did anyway. Nicolo was asking Nikki if Richard agreed to let him go with Luke to chaperone her? Nikki didn’t answer. She is upset with him. Nicolo apologized. He said that is also one reason why he wanted to go so he could pay her back for what he did. He said he didn’t purposely tell Amiel that she has a crush on him. He told Nikki that he hopes that she would not entertain Amiel if he courts him besides she is still not allowed to have a boyfriend. He thinks it is better that she just evades him while it is still early. Nikki still didn’t respond. Nicolo asked her if she really didn’t want him to go? Nikki finally responds. She asks him “Do I have a choice?” Nicolo didn’t answer. So she tells him she is going to bed and she said goodnight.

In San Nicolas, Nay Teresita seems bored not working at the Chibugan. She sadly hangs the key chains at a small counter; this is what’s left of the souvenir store they once had. Kute observes her and could see that she isn’t happy.

Zel MNEW BEGINNINGS

New beginnings are what we all need at different intervals of our lives breaking the monotony which brings stagnation and dullness in our lives. Life can get routinely boring, monotonous that we are prompted to turn a new leaf and seek for a change. New beginnings provide a change in life’s perspective and can be beneficial depending upon the way you look towards them. In life, we should accept everything that comes our way with grace, with openness , with enthusiasm for new beginnings can give us new adventures, new outlook, new possibilities.

Part of the process of beginning anew, or changing directions is to know where one wants to go. This may sound simplistic and easy, but this is one of the most difficult of choices to make with such clarity. But for Richard, when he decided to allow himself at a second chance at love and when he fully realized just how much he loved Maya, everything had been simple and easy for him. When he decided to propose to the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life, he never looked back for everything he envisioned in his future included Maya and that excited him that he simply couldn’t wait for that day when he will have her as his lawful wife, as his rightful partner, loving mother to his kids and the woman he chose to grow old with.

With prodding from his mom, initially he was reluctant to do any renovation but DE convinced him pending his upcoming marriage and the need for some renovation to put some life into his home. He was obliged at first, but thinking it thru, and enjoining Maya for the redesigning of the home, he got more and more excited knowing he and Maya will be doing this together as a betrothed couple jointly making decisions with inputs from the kids. He became more and more excited that every little detail he enjoined Maya to give her inputs so he could incorporate them all and send to the interior designer they hired. Anything and everything that the two of them are doing or will be doing excites him all the more, exuding such vigor and renewed enthusiasm to life, to getting married, to spending the rest of his life with the woman he truly loves.

In complete contrast, Maya as the inevitable is just around the corner, while she is very happy of the prospect of becoming Richard’s wife, she is confronted with so much apprehensions, uncertainties simply because everything is all new to her after all this is her first serious relationship ever and she is completely clueless handling a romantic relationship let alone an intimate one such as marriage. Fortunate for her, Richard is patiently guiding her, making her comfortable of the idea of marriage, of intimacy and slowly she will soon open up and loosen up and be more comfortable, more secure and feeling so much safer with Richard’s help, with his loving ways, making her comfortable that all her apprehensions will soon fade and disappear.

Luke on the other hand, with the encouragement from his Dad on the possibility of him pursuing an international education at the Singapore Aviation University is all too excited of exploring, having new adventures in another country and pursuing his education in preparation for his eventual managing his dad’s company in the future and broadening his horizon in the process. All this new prospects and new beginnings excites him that he puts effort in researching and learning what is needed to prepare him for that eventuality. With that excitement of equipping himself to be worthy of his Dad’s company puts a break in his other aspect of life, the love department. To him, love could probably wait for the meantime.

As for Nikki, while she is so used to bantering with Niccolo and harboring that infatuation with him though secretly, she’s feeling that certain awkwardness of the new transferee student Amiel, who seemed quite confident and determined at giving her that extra attention making her uncomfortable, self-conscious, agitated a far cry from her usual confident, composed and collected personality. And with the attention she’s getting from Amiel, she’s feeling some curiosity, anticipation and certain thrill she couldn’t even understand.

In San Nicolas however, the new beginnings for Nanay Teresita while it has given her a respite from too much stress she had primarily taking charge of preparing the dishes for customers for Little Pards Chibugan, it seems like, she’s not too happy and eager with her current state, not being able to help at the eatery, for she seem to be bored and not happy thus making her feel so useless, inadequate and worthless.

Si Niccolo sinusuyo pa rin si Nikki thru text tapos umeksena na naman si Amiel niyayaya si Nikki na sabay na pumasok. Nakilala na ni Abby si Amiel tapos nag-smile ng makahulugan.

Si Sabel may ka-chika sa phone. Kilig na kilig naman si Sabel.

Si Amiel dumadamoves kay Niknik. Si Nikki awkward na kay Amiel.

Si Ser Chieeeeeeeef! Nagsundo kay Maya with flowers tapos may kiss sa cheek from the back …. Waaaaaaaaaaah.

Zel MEvery day is a new beginning, a new adventure, a renewed hope and a new opening to make changes in our lives. May we treat it that way but we need to stay away from what might have been by letting go of yesterday after all we can’t go back to the past… all we can do is embrace today and move forward by envisioning tomorrow by look at what can be. We all can learn new things at any time in our lives if we are willing to be beginners every now and then, we might just have a welcome surprise as the whole world opens up to us.

It is said that the secret to a rich life is to have more beginnings than endings. Every day is a new beginning, so take a deep breath and start again… May we also be reminded too that every sunset gives us one day less to LIVE but every sunrise gives us one day more to HOPE.

SC: I’m just saying. Lets go.
M: Okay. Siya nga pala Ser Chief, baka pwede ako dumaan ng condo?
SC: Bakit?
M: Para makapgpalit ako ng mas komportableng damit.
SC: Wag na. You look great. Sayang oras.
M: Uhm Bakit ka nagmamadali?
SC: Nothing.
M: Uy excited. Kita mo toh, dati wala kang pakialam sa pagaayos ng bahay. Laging final approval lang ang sa iyo. Naalala lang mo yung sa Baguio. Ngayon, tignan mo naman, mas ecited ka pa kina Nikki…

Being clear and established on one’s objective and focused on one’s goal is definitely an admirable trait. It essentially takes the guess work on one’s purpose and fosters efficient use of time and resources. Generally those who are mature, confident and have a positive self-esteem possess such traits. In contrast, those who are indecisive and unsure of themselves and what they want in life tend to have problems with time management and their self-confidence. The characters of our story portray these differences quite convincingly.

Determined and clearly focused on his goal to marry Maya, Richard gently guides his “intended” to the eventual role that she will be playing in his life and in his home. Mindful that she is naïve and that he is her first boyfriend, he skillfully teaches her the ropes. Although she has grown leaps and bounds in her social and interpersonal skills, romantically-inexperienced Maya still suffers from a lack of self-confidence. This is evident when she finds herself in intimate situations with her beau. However, being the consummate gentleman that he is, Richard keeps himself in check lest she thinks of him too amorous and too aggressive in how he expresses his love for her. He definitely is being patient and gentle in the way that he is preparing her for the inevitable. That she will have to accept the fact that she too will have to be an active participant in demonstrating, expressing and reciprocating her love to her fiancé and soon-to-be husband is the ultimate goal. Richard is slowly introducing her to the world of marital relationship and what it entails. He is helping to make her realize that a random kiss is quite a natural and acceptable way of expressing his affection for her, in public or in private. He engages her in talking about redesigning his home in anticipation of her homecoming after the wedding and that doing so is actually wise and practical and that she should take an active role in implementing their joint decisions. That to include her in planning how the master’s bedroom should be designed is sensible although she might feel it a little embarrassing. He is gently changing her mindset so that she can slowly get used to thinking of herself, no longer as an “individual” but, as his better half, in the concept of and in the context of being a “couple”. Slowly, she allows her love for him to guide her responses. Through Richard’s deliberate leading, she is carefully opening up, she is finally feeling secure in his presence, she is slowly letting her guard down and she surprisingly finds herself comfortable and safe. She is finally ready to embrace her place in Richard’s heart and in his home.

Luke absolutely proves without a doubt that he is his father’s son: logical, practical and intelligent. Asked whether he will consider studying in Singapore with the goal of adequately equipping him to, one day, run and inherit his father’s aviation services business, he unquestionably agrees to do so. In fact, he is totally excited about the possibility. He essentially demonstrates that he does not dilly-dally; that he is goal-oriented and perspicacious; traits that can only be attributed to those who have high self-esteem and self-confidence. He shows that he, like his father, is decisive and does not vacillate when making decisions.

On the other hand, there is the developing love triangle between Nikki, Nicolo and Amiel. In this scenario, Nikki and Nicolo are both the ambivalent parties. Hence they seem to waste a lot of time trying to find their own footing. In other words, they seem to be running around in circles. Although, most recently, Nicolo’s persistence in going to camp amidst Nikki’s protestations that he does not, is definitely a move in the right direction.

Conversely, there is Amiel who seems to know what he wants and certainly has no qualms showing it. Amiel gives Nikki definite signs that he is interested in her. He is bold and confident in his stance and his steps in making her realize that he is intent in pursuing her is quite commendable. He is cool, calm, collected, gentlemanly and definitely purposeful in his approach. Although he is merely a teenager, he quietly demonstrates the traits of someone beyond his age. He is unequivocal and decisive in his moves. In the way he pursues Nikki, Amiel convincingly shows that he can easily be Richard’s quick study. His intelligent and prudent approach to gain Nikki’s attention echoes exactly Richard’s perspicacious and deliberate approach to winning Maya’s heart.

Hot WasabiI am reminded something about myself, in this episode. I naturally and easily gravitate towards people who are confident and decisive. On the contrary, I do not have a high tolerance for the weak-kneed. Although I am lenient of people who are wishy-washy because I feel that they will eventually “get it” and will ultimately “get their groove”, and of course, it is the Christian way to be patient and mindful of others, I find that I personally disassociate myself from them. Maybe, in the future, when they totally have outgrown their awkwardness and finally discover their confident stride, I might find myself socializing in the same social circles with them. Through this episode, BCWMH effectively makes me realize that I need to challenge myself to be more patient with myself and others.

Therefore, I am grateful to you writers for unwittingly compelling your audience to change for the better and mindfully edifying your viewers through your cleverly crafted creative plots. Bravo and again many, many thanks for not just merely providing us entertainment but also imparting lessons for us to learn from.

M: Eto, yung kasama na ako sa desisyon sa bahay.

Winnie R OntiverosBack at the condo, Maya finally gets back to her room and sees the pretend house that she made with Abby and she looks at it as if she is imagining her new home after she gets married. At the same time, Richard comes home and upon entering the front door, he stops and looks around the house. He is imagining the new design but most of all, his heart is full at the thought of his bride coming home. Manang Fe observes him from behind the kitchen wall. I could tell she knows what’s on his mind.

The next morning at the breakfast table, Richard tells the kids that he will be home early this afternoon because Maya and him want to talk about the redesign of the house. He told the kids that they are included in the meeting. He said that they should tell the interior designer what they want in their room. This excited Nikki and Abby. Then Richard turned to Luke. He wants to know if he checked out the university in Singapore yet? Luke said yes and so far he likes it. He just wants to check out the forums for comments and feedback but so far he said he is convinced. Richard was pleased. He told him that during their semestral break that he could go to visit the school. He said that they have a business partner there that could assist him. He wants Luke to give him a heads up to when his break is and he will make the arrangements. Nikki wanted to go. Luke said no. Richard reminded Luke that he isn’t going there for adventure. He is going there to check out the university. If he wants he could transfer to that school. (Wow I don’t want for Luke to be gone. He is Nicolo’s ticket to the mansion to see Nikki.)

At time airways, Ms Calandra passes out the revised Time Airways manual. She named all the changes but focused on Section 13 Revised Rule on Marriage, Maternity and Paternity Leave. Edz read it and the bottom line is that Cabin Crew (which means FA’s) are now allowed to get married upon regularization amending the previous rule of 180 days after contract signing for regular employees. Edz got excited and told Maya that she no longer has to wait a year before she could get married. Joshua reminded Edz that her grandmother just passed away. Edz apologized for being insensitive to Maya’s loss. Maya told Edz it’s ok because her and Richard are not in a hurry. (Ummm no Maya you are on a slow boat to China while Richard is on a bullet train in Japan. He wants to get married now ha ha) Connie (I could never remember the name of the other FA friend of Maya and Edz…the other day I called her Connie but I had no idea if that was her name so I will call her Connie again today.) said that maybe they want to follow the Chinese tradition that they should get married within 100 days of the death of a loved one. Josh then interjected that only 40 days after the death. All this talk made Maya comment that they are rushing her to get married.

At the high school Amiel catches Nikki and Abby. He asked Nikki to walk to class together. Nikki feeling very uneasy with him used the excuse that she needs to take Abby to class and basically shoos Amiel away. Then she sends a text to Nicolo telling him he’s so G R R R because now she can’t be normal in front of Amiel. (ha ha Niknik)

Thank you for pointing out to me that I failed to do a thorough analysis on our characters’ traits. I totally forgot about the episode in PUS where Richard confessed that he was not a model student and should not ever be emulated for the wrong choices he made then. He apparently experienced an amazing transformation later on and has since stayed on course to be the success that he is now. Moreover, I think the fact that there is so little information regarding Amiel’s background contributes to the air of mystery about him, which therefore makes him appealing. Infatuation usually starts this way. Initially, one is attracted to one’s looks or his animal magnetism. Getting to know him is part of the process. Love then develops if he continues to meet one’s expectations. Otherwise, he falls on the wayside. Conversely, Nicolo has essentially been around quite a bit and has effectively totally left nothing more for anyone to be curious about him. Admittedly his dorky ways is endearing to some, and irritating to others. Personally, I like someone who leaves something more to be discovered. It is simply part of the adventure. Moreover a part of me like taking some calculated risks. It makes the getting-to-know-you phase a little more exciting. Hahahahaha. I am like Abby, in the scene by the school’s front steps, she seems to be smitten by Amiel. Our little Abby is already starting to have a crush. Hahahaha.

I admit that Nicolo does not want to be embroiled in a complicated situation with the Lims if he does pursue Nikki, at this time. Consequently, he should simply just make a decision to cultivate a social life sans Nikki. However, his unresolved feelings for Nikki refuse to allow him to move on. Hence it renders him ambivalent and unable to move on or back out. He essentially is stuck! Hahahahaha. Of course, this is just the scene that the writers want him to be in so that the audience will sympathize with his plight and will tug at the viewers’ heart strings. Traditionally, we go for the underdog and in this situation Nicolo definitely is. I believe this love triangle is going to develop a great source of mini kilig moments to major kilig moments in the very near future. Apparently, it will also cause a friendly division among the viewers: those who support Nicolo for Nikki and those who root for Amiel for Nikki. Ah it will be so much fun! But all of this will all be in the context of pure fun!

Love you Sis. I still appreciate you OCD ness. Thank you for reading through my post with that discriminating eye for details that only a genuine fan can truly appreciate. Ikaw na, Win!

Tee PeeSince when were you that cheesy?

This question I feel was not just directed to Ser Chief but probably to us and to the madlang people. Newsflash, Nikki Grace Lim. (maybe not?)
Ever since Ser Chief’s role was created, everybody has become cheesy including the elite ladies daw as shown on Cheche Lazaro’s show.
But, on second thought, I have to say that ever since they put Richard Yap up on the screen to portray SC’s role, which he does to a T, we all have become cheesy… 30….40…50 something women going gaga over this show and (admit it ladies) swooning over Richard Yap of course! In the 90’s, watching soaps like this and being starstruck were considered baduy and bakya but times have changed and it is all becoz of this tandem and the fact that this show has nothing but good vibes. Mamang’s death maybe seen by some as a departure from the feel good aura norm of this show but sad plots like last week’s episodes made this show more realistic than ever. And, just like in real life, tragedy comes…we grieve and then move on.

And moving on they did! The BCWMH team really knows how to tickle us pink! What a way to make us feel better after a depressing week!
SC’s surprise smack on the lips while tenderly holding Maya’s face with both of his hands is a sure hit! Such a simple gesture but so wagas to make me feel so kilig! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Para akong sira kung maka react! I mirrored Abby’s and Nikki’s reaction dun sa scene when they found out about the redesigning of their rooms. Wiieeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Kinilig ako ng sobra! Love Maya’s reaction na parang natameme and nabigla din. Dunno if the reason why she stammered a bit was becoz na surprise siya sa kiss or baka she did not expect to be included in the decision making. Hay naku Maya and Teepee…smack pa lang yan. Paano na kaya kung talagang torrid and liplocking ( 10 seconds or more ) kissing scene na yon! Ha ha ha….silly Teepee.
I love how Richard Yap utter this simple word…silly….there’s a weird sexiness to the way he says it in his ooohhhh so lambot and soothing voice with his lopsided smile that is truly just his alone. Haaaaay! Sigh! Haaaaaaay!

Luv Nikki’s character. She has grown on me to the point that I seem to sound like her and my kids are like “Mom, why are you talking like that…so weird?” Cute siguro kung Taglish ( uhmm…not really… 40 something trying hard to be a bagets copycat ) but I am Bisdak man gud so it is weird lagi kaayo oy kung mag Bislish ko … ha ha ha. Anyway, I see Nikki as the future star of ABS following the likes of Claudine Barreto and Judy Ann Santos. Luv the Nicolo – Amiel triangle too. I have a feeling they would focus on them more in Book 2 coz by doing so, the powers that be can reach the younger crowd as we.
I like AJ Muhlach and yes, he is the younger brother of Aga. I have watched him before at the other station when he played the son of Gabby Concepcion sa PS I Love You. He is good and he’s really got potential.

Anyway, ( again…sori ha … ang daming detour ha ha ha) with the MMFF movie out of the way, I feel like the BCWMH team including all the stars were probably relieved with this decision coz it looks like everybody is more relaxed and more realistic in the way they act. Love how playful Richard is when he said “you’re all mean” and when he said ” YES! ” Parang bagets lang ang peg! Ha ha ha …. I am so glad that they did not push thru with the movie para naman the writers can recoup and concentrate on creating more kilig scenes and plots for this show. They need to put all their efforts into making Book 2 as successful as Book 1. I really believe that this show will go on forever, until they have apos na, just like what Charo said. If they become burned out again, I suggest they take a break and come back during the fall just like how Glee and other shows do it here…by seasons. Suggestion lang po.

And as for the speedos? Don’t count on it ladies. If my memory serves me right, I think he only wore board shorts in one of his beach scenes in Binondo Girl where Ai Ai naman was wearing a bathing suit. I would lilly lilly love to see his legs too ( ito lang kaya?) but the conservative TeePee thinks that for a 40 something guy, it would be wise for him to stay away from speedos. Don’t get me wrong. I am sure he is well built down there but with 2 teenagers in real life, it would benefit his kids kung huwag na lang. Wise din si Richard Yap. He knows we have been waiting for him to show us his white, mala porcelana legs so to maintain his air of mystery, I bet, hanggang talampakan na lang tayo. To each our own vivid imaginations na lang ….he he he…

At the West Treatro practice, Nikki is showing Aryan how it is done doing a scene with Amiel – hmmmmm, what happened during rehearsal Nikki? You must have felt something and might be the reason for your happy disposition upon arriving home.

Nikki talks to Maya again updating her with regards to Amiel……and shows Maya the text she received…..Maya says he just might be concerned for her.

Maya tells Richard that Amiel likes Nikki, but not to tell Nikki she told him. Richard responds that he trust Maya on this and will not say anything.

Richard with Maya asks the kids if they can push through with the wedding adding that Nanay Teresita has given her consent, life is too short and she wants them to be happy…….then everyone happy and jumping with joy.

Regarding Nikki and her choice of how to treat Nicolo I would give her a bit more understanding after all this is her first crush and she knows her limitations. Yes she actually put herself in this predicament we can see that but this is why she is going to be perfectly fine because she will learn her lesson from this. I know I made a few of those mistakes too. Ha ha like breaking up with a boy I really really liked because he held my hand bwahahaha If I only knew holding hands wasn’t gonna make me pregnant. Today’s episode gave me the feeling of contentment seeing SC and Maya relate to each other in such a loving way. There is no trace of the arduous journey they traveled to get where they are right now. Many people still believe that happiness and contentment comes from being born rich or beautiful or living a stress free life. The reality is that people who have wealth, beauty or less stress are not happier on average than those who don’t enjoy those blessings.

The happiness and contentment that SC and Maya are reaping are the sum of the choices they made together, and these they will build their new family together. Their devotion to their family has always been a priority for each of them. They both appreciate what they have, but still pursue to improve and make things better for themselves and their family. So contentment isn’t a matter with being content with your situation in life and never trying to improve. It’s a matter of appreciating what’s at hand, but realizing that we will always try to improve, no matter how happy we are.

Maya maintained an optimistic outlook in life, no matter what she was dealt with, and this she used to bring back life into the Lim household. Her sunny disposition brought SC out of his grief, and brought back the lop sided smile on his face. When he returned home today from dropping Maya off, he came into the house with a smile of contentment, that soon the house will be filled with Maya’s love and laughter.

Lastly, I think what brought them the most happiness and contentment is the simplicity of their lives. They had very little expectations of each other, only that they made each other happy and that no matter what happens they will be there for each other. Kapit Bisig…and together FOREVER and EVER!!!!

BCWMH…I just want to commend you for the choice of the main characters in RY and JSM. They are a match made in heaven!!!! Tinginan lang sila, pamatay na sa kilig!!! Even much more now, that SC is loosening up and being “cheesy”. LOL!!!! It’s not so bad…

Winnie R OntiverosAt the rehearsals of the West Teatro play, Amiel tried to catch Nikki’s attention. When Nikki told Aryan she will give her a one on one consultation on her role, he wanted to join but Nikki tells him it is not necessary. Amiel follows her around with his looks making Nikki uneasy.

Maya sits at the airport reading a magazine when Richard comes. He is late but he steals a kiss from Maya (weeeee!) He apologized and said that he had to stop by somewhere that is why he is late. He hands her a bouquet of red roses (Weee! Richard is stepping it up…it’s like screw the sunflowers. He wants to give her red roses…for love and passion ha ha…a “let’s get married bouquet” of red roses waaaa!) Maya was happy to get the roses. Maya wanted to stop by at the condo to change her clothes but Richard said she looked fine. He doesn’t want to waste time. Maya asked why is he in a hurry? She teases him about being excited. He laughs because Maya caught him. Maya tells him that before, he didn’t care how the house looked. When they first moved to the mansion he just approved everything. Richard said it is because it is different this time. It’s because she is involved too. He is excited to do the redesign of the mansion with Maya.

At the house, Nikki finds Maya and Richard at the living room waiting for the interior designer. She shrieks in excitement to see Maya and right away pulled her away for a little time together. Richard made noise and said he is there too. Nikki apologized. She said she just wants to have some girl time with Maya. Richard understands and let them. Upstairs, she tells Maya about Amiel and how she is doing everything to evade him. Maya said that it might not be right to evade him first of all because they are working together and it might affect the play if she keeps it on. But Nikki said she couldn’t stand the fact that he thinks she’s got a crush on him. She thinks things are so complicated now and there are so many people involved. Maya advised her that if the knot is tied tightly, then you patiently need to untie it. Nikki said it sounds complicated. Maya thought that the best thing to do is for Nikki to talk to Amiel and tell him the truth. Nikki said that she would think about it. Yep Maya said as long as she does not take too long. (Good girl Nikki and great advice from Maya.) Suddenly Nikki sees Richard fast approaching. She asked him if he was eves dropping? Richard said opkors not. He just came up to get Maya because she’s been with her for too long and he’s missed her. (Waaaaa!) Nikki laughed and asked Richard since when did he become so cheesey? (ha ha super cheesey!) Richard said that he just wants Nikki to get Abby because the interior designer is about to arrive. Nikki left the two smiling at each other.

At the living room, the Lim children, Richard and Maya sat to listen to the interior designer who brought pictures of what her and Richard talked about. She started with the veranda and explaining that she had moved the coffee table to the other side as suggested by Richard. Nikki appreciated it and thought that was a good suggestion by Richard. He told Nikki he just relayed the message but that was Maya’s idea. Nikki was impressed. So for the living room, Miss Camille showed two pictures and she said that Richard and Maya had two different ideas. (Hmmm it looks the same to me with exception of the color. I liked Maya’s choice. I thought Richard’s was nice color too but if I have to walk inside the house and look at that color every day I might get tired of it easily.) Nikki thought the one with the rust like wall color was Maya’s idea. She was right. (Richard said she was so mean when she called his suggestion weird ha ha) Then the designer showed what she suggested as the color scheme of the entire house. Maya and Nikki both said they liked it. Maya told Nikki that whatever she wants they should follow. Nikki said no. She told Maya she wanted her and her Dad to make the decision. She wants her to feel this is also her home. She said “us kids will just agree.” (How nice of you Nikki)

SC: So…

M: So…
SC: What do you think?
M: Tungkol saan?
SC: To what everything I said, SILLY… (Na akala ko SWEETIE :bop: )
M: Ha, ano ba? Iyong tungkol sa design o tungkol sa magiging bahay ko na rin toh?

Winnie R OntiverosRichard drives Maya back to the condo. After parking the car Richard said, “I think we should first redesign the living room, study and the veranda. The rooms, we could do next time. Unless you want to get it all done at the same time?” Maya turned her head away from Richard trying to cover up because she has tears on her eyes. Richard noticed and asked her why she is crying? She said she is crying because she is overwhelmed by the fact that she is now part of the decision making for the house. Richard then whispers to her to get used to it. (Right Maya…also, you need to practice writing your name, Mrs. Maya de la Rosa Lim or Mrs. Maya R. Lim ☺)

After Richard left, Maya started her scrapbook pasting pictures of mementos from recent events including today’s meeting with Miss Camille. When she turned the page back, she sees the picture of her and Nay T and Mamang at the mall after they watched the movie. Maya talked to Mamang’s memory and said that she is sad that she is gone now. How else is she going to tell her all the wonderful things that is happening to her life now?

At the mansion, Maya teaches Abby to swim while Richard videos them. (Well Maya is wearing proper swimming attire but where is the Speedoooo???? Ha ha) At the West Teatro rehearsal, Nikki subs for Aryan as Maria Clara so she gets the feel of how to play that role. Amiel likes the idea and when Nikki took a step and almost fell off the stage, he of course had to catch her. (Booooo! Old trick. Can’t yall think of something else to make him get close to her? This is overrated ha ha) Nikki comes home and finds everyone down at the swimming pool. She got a moment with Maya and told her that she talked to Amiel and told him that her crush is indeed Nicolo but then she was confused because after that, Amiel became even more sweet to her. She showed Maya a text from Amiel that said “I hope you got home safely.” She asked Maya what she thought that meant? Maya said maybe he is just really concerned for you? On the way to the condo, Richard asks Maya what her and Nikki talked about. Nothing, Maya said except that it looks like Amiel likes Nikki. She begs Richard not to tell Nikki that she told him. Fine Richard said. (Uh oh Maya) I’ll trust you on this one, Richard added. At the airport, Richard and Maya meet and talk. She tells him that she spoke to Kute and Nay T and they said not to postpone the wedding. He repeats what he just heard just to make sure. When Maya confirmed he got so excited and he said a resounding “YESSSS!” (Waaaaaa! The man can’t wait to be married ha ha) So they tell the kids and Manang Fe about pushing through with the wedding. Luke asked him how about the “Sukob”? (the Pamanhiin about not getting married within a year of someone’s death.) Richard said that Nay T said life is short and they want to see him and Maya happy. This excite the kids and Manang Fe to no end.

SC: Look, eto iyong suggestion ng designer, doon sa veranda she suggested that we put a coffee table kasi sinabi ko sa kanya na madalas tayo nagcocoffee tayo doon, and for the living room, eto yung suggestion ng designer, actually eto iyong suggestion ko sa kanya when we talked over the phone. what do you think?

Maya told SC, Kute and NT suggested not to postpone the wedding, life is too short. SC’s reaction is priceless.

Parang yung guest room where Manang Fe was billeted after she came home from the hospital is different from the suite where DE & DR stayed. That one seems to be located at the back garden/pool level and is more like a suite yata with an ante-room na parang receiving area, whereas Manang Fe’s guest room is more like one of the bedrooms upstairs.

Baka doon sila sa suite nila DE & DR para mas isolated…hindi maririnig ng mga bata ang pa-tumbling-tumbling nila at malaki-laki yung back garden na paghahabulan nila pag sigaw ni Maya ng “Sir Chiiiiief, bakit ganyan?” Pwede pa sila mag-skinny-dipping sa pool late at night.

Pag visit nila DR & DE sa small guest room na lang sila kasi parang nasa main door level yata yon…hindi na kaya ni Mama Esmie ang masyadong akyat-manaog pag dating ng panahon

Yung kay Rafi yata same as kina DR & DE because if I remember right, Maya had to go down one level to bring the coffee to her Sir Chief then na hurt siya when she found him in Rafi’s room.

1. Chinese tradition it is. Mabuhay ang malapit nang ikasal!!!
2. Amiel is growing on Nikki. Interesting possibilities. Nicolo, watch out!
3. Is Luke leaving the show, too? Will Nicolo be taking up the role of big bro in his absence?
4. Abby is as cute and astute as always. I just love this little Maya.
5. Maya, as unassuming as ever is beginning to fit comfortably into her new role. Her pagka-aligaga around Ser Chief has all but disappeared with his ever sweet and considerate validation of love. She’s back to her old, confident self before she left San Nicolas but with a difference… she has bloomed into a woman.
6. Ser Chief. I don’t think we’ll ever see him in speedos. Perhaps it is to safeguard women’s health or something. Or maybe there’s something wrong with his legs? Doesn’t he know I don’t care what’s inside his pants? …or rather, his pant legs. Love ko na siya, eh. As for the rest of his pants,… well,… It’s part of the package, isn’t it?
7. Finally, I didn’t realize talking about something as inanimate as interior design can be so nakaka-kilig. Sigh!

Jo EWhat a great episode. I’m all smiles from start to finish. Ser Chief is so sweet and considerate of Maya’s feelings. Now that they are in a relationship there’s an abundance of PDA. I’m looking forward to the coming wedding preparation.

What can I say, more than an hour na matapos ko panoorin, hindi pa rin ako maka-get over sa super kilig! I remembered that Richard took about a week after they left the old mansion to find this one, bought it and fixed it up. By the following weekend, they were able to move in na. Maganda nga ang room nila DE and DR, sis, and malaki. Tapos meron pang isang room sa house na maganda, I think it was only shown once. Parang iyung unang room ni SC noong bagong lipat sila sa mansion. Remember that scene na may dinalang gamit si Maya, then si SC nag-spray ng perfume, tapos inamoy ni Maya, and she was like inubo dahil na-spray sa kanya. That room has a nice view rin and parang maaliwalas.

With a lot of new plot and sub-plot they are building, it is also unlikely that they’ll end the series soon na magiging dahilan why bibigyan na ng ending ang mga characters. Baka nga pasaway lang ang writers.

I hope na this ‘Luke planning to go to SG’ plot will be nothing more than establishing SC’s faith in Luke and to help in the Nicolo-Nikki-Amiel plot.

I think SC should slowly start initiating Maya na to these more intimate moves of his para naman hindi mabigla si Maya during their honeymoon. Not naman that they should go all the way (sorry SPG na talaga ito). Di ba nagtanong si Maya kung pano gawin yun (you know what I mean here guys!) pero wala siyang matanongan sa SN? A promise is a commitment by someone to do or not to do something… but a promise must be kept and should be fulfilled for it means a lot to a person for it not only suggests appreciation, value and empathy but it gives hope, fuels expectations and giving that reliable assurance to the person to whom the promise is made.

Keeping a promise – is such a simple statement yet very hard to do, difficult to carry out and achieve. In real life scenarios, promises do matter, most especially to children for they have remarkably exceptional memories when they hear the words “I PROMISE”. These simple words are far stronger and deeply rooted in a child’s language as they have been taught of these words to have power, strength and magic encompassing. When we consistently keep the promises we make, the child learns that life is fair, just, and reliable. They know they can always depend on us. But when we consistently “promise” and then break such promises, we inadvertently teach our children that it is okay to lie, that it’s okay to be dishonest and untrustworthy. We teach them that our word is worthless, undermining their belief in themselves in the process. Broken promises to children have such great ripple effect that can haunt them through their life in the form of distrust, pessimism, and low self-esteem.

Maya has been a mother figure to Abby, a parent in more ways than one. She has been Abby’s guardian, a constant in her young life, a role model, a teacher and a mentor all rolled into one and more. With Richard’s recent decision not allowing Abby to join in the star scout’s swimming workshop, he and Maya compromised to teach her how to swim which appeased a very upset Abby when her request to join had been denied. Time and again, Maya always makes it a point to keep all her promises to sweet little Abby and today’s episode is no different. For even with her hectic double leg flight schedule, she never fails to keep her promise to her Baby. That special bond they share will never be broken for they keep nurturing it, caring for it, no matter how small or big the acts are… in the eyes of a child, there’s no such thing as big or small, for everything is as important in their precious heart, everything is such big deal to a child longing and yearning for love, attention and special activities she holds dear to her heart that can be shared with someone close to her heart, someone she can always count on like Ate Maya.

On the other hand, when Amiel heard from Nikki’s own words what he knew already that she had a crush on Niccolo, Nikki begged him to keep it a secret hoping to keep the situation at bay. Amiel, now aware of the reasons behind Nikki’s deliberate keeping it a secret, consequently promised not to tell anyone, not Niccolo, not Luke. Doing so, gave Amiel that glimmer of hope of knowing Nikki a little better giving him that chance to get comfortable around her and Nikki with him, an opportunity to be friends with one another and should he likes her that much, a chance for him to pursue her when the time is ripe. For now, he is contented with keeping his promise, his ticket to spending more time with Nikki without question, without any air of irritation from her and without discomfort..

I like Amiel na, feeling ko pinapareact niya si Nicolo. Inunahan niya si Nicolo magbuhat ng mga gamit ni Nikki at ihatid sa car. Si Nicolo nagsenti ayaw na daw sumabay sa car, tinanong pa si Joma kung palagi nga hinahatid ni Amiel si Nikki sa car. Tumango naman si Joma

Talagang meron yatang compulsion si SC about bathrobe belts. Habang nagda-dialog, bising-busy siya sa paghabol sa loop ng bathrobe ni Abby para ma-shoot yung belt!

Atchaka habang nag-vi-video siya, he walked to reposition himself…para yata to shoot Maya at a better angle!

Zel MCarpe Diem 2.0? I left it all to everyone who lilly lilly seized the day today and highlighted Carpe Diem, front and back, left and right. So I dug deeper into the “balon” and pulled out an equally important phrase – keeping promises… Or what we are so used to saying, promise! just like Ate Ludz… But on a personal note, I won’t lilly make a promise I won’t keep, so I won’t promise that my brain cells will always be on overdrive to come up with a pov, but this I lilly lilly promise to read all the posts even if I cant comment, but truth be told, I learn so much, the good I take with me, the not so good, I still take note as a reminder after all, I still believe there is simply good in all of us. Carpe Diem everyone!

1. SIMON. Tinawagan ni NT si Mayabels!!!Okay na raw mag-asawa si Maya.
   MATANDA NA RAW SI MAYA!!!! HA?????GUSTO na raw magka-APO si NT!!!! HA?????

Maya suggested na Tagaytay na lang sila para mabantayan ang mga bata. Yun na kwento na ni Maya na baka may gusto si Amiel. Nagbabago isip ni Maya, una sabi niya they can trust Nikki kaya wag na icancel ang hike. Next sinabi niya naman na dapat kausapin si Nikki. Parang worried si Maya. Natatakot si Maya na baka magkamali siya ng desisyon sa mga bata pagalitan siya ni SC. Sabi naman ni SC there’s is no right and wrong answer in raising kids, they just have to trust na lang daw ang mga bata.

Tumawag si Maya kay Nt. Si NT nagmamadali rin sa kasal. Ayaw niya nang patagalin ang pagpapakasal. Atat na si NT magka-apo. Di daw masasabi kung anong mangyayari bukas. At kung pagbabasihan daw ang boses ni Maya….loko ni Simon boses ipis na daw si Maya, in other words excited na siya o kilig.

Start from Maya reminiscing about Mamang while scrapbooking. Calls NT. Talk about sharing decor decision making with SC & being introduced by SC to everyone they meet as his fiancée. NT: Kinikilig ka naman. Maya: Nakakahiya daw baka mahalata ng iba yung kilig niya. NT: Sigurado daw niya na naiinip na si Mamang kung bakit di pa matuloy wedding

Executive asst na pala si Liza!!!

Nasa resto si Maya & SC. Ayan sasabihin na ni Maya ang nasabi ni NT na wag na postpone ang kasal. Excited si SC gusto niya tawagan lahat kasi tuloy daw sa summer ang kasal.

Ang sarap panoorin si Sir Chief na nagkakamay and he did it just to convince Maya and Abby that he can do it but he can’t. Ang cute lang ni Sir Chief and feeling jealous that Nikki doesn’t text him.

And finally Tatay Arturo showed up so this is another sentimental moment that we’ll look forward to see Nanay Teresita and Tatay Arturo to be reunited.

This show is like a true story and the characters are so good that every role they portray just made us feel as if this really happens in their own lives. Very inspiring and amazing show ever of ABS-CBN.

Even if wala nang movie, tuloy pa rin kaya ang pagpapakita nila ng ‘time lapse’ (if tama intindi natin kay Jods) come start of 2014? Mas lalong nakakalito! Parang sa ibang universe ang existence nila nyan (ehem)!

Next scene sa house na at the foyer Dorbel & Abby waiting. Kulitan between Dorbel re snecks for Abby bec Sabel absorbed with ka-text na classmate. Maya & SC arrive, teka muna magbibihis ako. Bathrobe scene na.

So many totally unnecessary kilig scenes in 1st segments…gift lang ng mga writers to adiks kasi alam nila na ni-rush nila itong epi na ito and tried unsuccessfully to shoot around Kute who’s having her concert this weekend. Dami-dami inconsistencies na maso-SOCO ng experts later tonight. Pero di bale na…gawa na lang yung experts ng kilig video clips for us.

Pati sa teens sobra kakakilig West Teatro rehearsal. When Nikki initially told SC that sorry she can’t help with swim lessons because she has one-on-one rehearsal for WT, sabay tiger mode father & son…with whom?!?

Rehearsal starts w just Nikki & Arienne ba yon. Amiel arrives. Why are you here…looking annoyed. Anyway, Amiel managed to work Nikki into doing scene with him to show the girl. This part you gotta see for yourself. I can’t do it justice, para talaga duma-damoves. Nasa teaser yung almost yakap. Nikki runs away, Amiel follows. Umiiwas ka ba o baka English Are u trying to avoid me…parang SC dialog. Nikki finally tells him who the real Mallows is and he seems to take it well. U would think mag-a-ala Rafi or Simon siya & I think that’s what Nikki thought at first at the car scene, but I think she got pleasantly surprised at how things developed, hence the joyous greeting for her family when she arrived poolside.

Mas inuuna kasi ni Ricardo ang Parenting 101 na ituro kay Maya. Dapat Baby Making 101 muna! Hahaha.

Sabi ni SC, walang right or wrong when it comes to parenting. Pero ang sabi ko naman, when it comes to baby making, meron!!!

1. Love it when Maya was caught by surprise again when SC planted that kiss …………waaaaaaaaaah!…….on her cheek as she was rushing to get out of the airport. Why do I feel that it was just a random act and wala talaga sa script yun and JSM was really caught offguard. Acting lang kaya yun? Galing naman.

2. Love how Richard tied Maya’s robe. Another simple gesture but super nakakakilig and so full of meaning….well at least in my convuluted and polluted mind it is…ha ha ha….Para akong si virginal Maya and na feel ko talaga the sparks of electricity down my spine, kinda like enticing me este Maya on what to expect come honeymoon time. waaaaaaaaah!

3. Kinilig din ako for Nikki who is really like her father who is so dense and hindi niya gets that Amiel is making paramdam or that Nicolo likes her too…or maybe she really is still naive. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. I miss my naive younger self! ha ha ha…

Anyway, Looking forward ako kung may bonding kilig scenes bukas overlooking the lake area ang magsing-irog natin.

I can just imagine the happy adventures of this family! Di kelangan may kontrabida para maging maganda ang show, just show lang the mishaps or bloopers of the family. siempre as SC said walang right or wrong sa pagpalaki ng pamilya. pero the mistakes and kapalpakan pag ginawa nilang comedy, am sure ma-aliw tayo.

Elang tampuhan for sure. Wala naman sa teaser e. pero hindi ko napanood ang lengthy teaser kaya hindi ko rin masabi.

BCWMH portrays love in its many facets; from its budding infatuation phase to its full maturation.

Nikki experiences the first promptings of the initial stages of attraction when she felt this mysterious indefinable emotion overcome her whenever Nicolo is around. With the help of Emman and Maya, she learnS that she has indeed started to like him. She relishes occasions when he manages to materialize in her presence but at the same time is irritated at his unplanned appearances as she almost always finds herself losing control over her emotions and she fears that her most sacredly hidden secret might be discovered. She would rather die than confess her feelings to him. Besides, he has not ever paid attention to her in the past, anyway. He was always attracted to someone else, his age, not her. If Nikki’s feelings are likened to a plant, then it is one that is essentially presently unattended. It needs proper nutrition and is in dire need of water and attention.

Nicolo is Luke’s best friend since they were young. His family and the Lims have known each other for years. Hence, his presence in the Lim home is not unusual. It is not uncommon to find him eating at their table or simply hanging out for the day. He has always found Luke’s younger sister “cute” and always managed to get her ire by playfully teasing her. Unbeknownst to him, he has innocently expressed his attraction for the girl without out-rightly declaring it so. Being new to the school, he seems to always be alone hence it gives him the opportunity to learn who are the shakers and movers in the school. Apparently, Nikki Grace Lim, the school’s thespian club’s president catches his attention. He finds her a tad too prissy but finds that this is exactly what attracts her to him. He promptly pursues an opportunity to get to know her better by joining West Teatro. From a distance, he studies her closely and slowly learns her likes and dislikes. The more he gets to know her, the more interested in Nikki he becomes. He decides to pursue her. In this scenario, if Nikki is the plant then, Amiel is her gardener.

Richard and Maya have experienced and shared many of life’s seasonal changes thus far. They have been through life’s storms and celebrated life’s wonders, both separately and together. The adversities that they faced serve to further strengthen their resolve to face their future challenges together. Finally, they are ready to make a full commitment to live the rest of their lives as a married couple. As a plant, Richard and Maya’s love for each other can be symbolized by two towering trees, with roots that go way down into the earth. Marya VThe mother and daughter moment between Nanay T and Maya was beautifully done. Their openness is so endearing and they are so attuned to each other’s thoughts and feelings that their exchange simply flows with love and understanding. Nanay T needed this diversion. She very recently lost her BFF and was locked out of the kitchen, her domain. This gives her too much time in her hands. Everyone needs to be needed. Perhaps she will opt to stay with Maya for the wedding preparation. Then again this also leads me to think that she is being primed for Tatay A’s reappearance.

Nikki seems to be welcoming Amiel’s attention. Is it because she is flattered, or simply enjoying torturing Mallows?. Is Amiel seriously into Nikki or is he also enjoying torturing Mallows? Is he doing it to ruin or to help?

Anyway, six months was based on Maya’s permanency at Times Airways and rules have changed. Six months is still too long a wait for Maya and Ser Chief to unleash their pent up passions and, more importantly, I can’t hold my breath that long. I always admire Maya and Nay T’s relationship. My momma and I developed that kind of openness only lately. When i was frowing up or Mayas age, her and i didn’t see eye to eye kasi she always want to control how i raise my kids etc etc. but thats all in the past. I ❤️ My momma lots. We have a more open relationship now. Shes more patient with me now as i am wih her. Hurray!

in today’s epi, one of the focal points is the current situation facing nikki with 2 young men apparently
interested to get her attention and perhaps in some future time, her heart. wow, ha, nikki i can’t blame
you for feeling ang haba-haba ng hair mo noh? ang hirap bang suklayin? (in fairness, totoo namang
ang haba na ng hair ni jonella…siguro nga ang hirap niyan suklayin?)

maya, being nikki’s confidante more than ever, can’t help but feel aligaga so she shared with SC her
concerns about nikki’s situation. it is the convo between maya and SC in the car that serves as my
inspiration for my pick-of-the-day song, TEACH YOUR CHILDREN WELL by crosby still nash & young.
i believe that SC has been able to raise his 3 children well despite not having a partner by his side in
those tender years. and now with maya beside him SC should feel confident that he has the best
role model for the lim children to emulate, 2 of whom are in their adolescence years.

the song imparts 2 messages, first, that altho the parents would always worry about the choices
their children pick, they should realize that for as long as they have instilled in them the “code” of life
well lived, all the parents need to do is trust their children’s own decision and encircle them with love.
the 2nd message is for the children to appreciate the fears their parents are going through while raising
them, as the parents main concern is to see them do well or even better than they did. the children to

i was just watching the “today’s show” and sting was the guest who is supposed to be
drumbeating his newest album which will also be a broadway musical in the near future.
however, the background music played prior to his intro was “i’ll be watching you”, (the last

hahaha, immediately bcwmh characters came to mind…i think almost everyone’s peg will be
“stalker” of nikki in the next epi that will show the tagaytay happening.

Maya tells her the changes in her life as of late specifically that Richard has now included her in the planning of the redesigning of the house. Nanay Teresita could feel the excitement in Maya’s voice. She told her she could tell she is kilig over the thought. Maya admitted she is just trying not to show it. Maya asked Nanay Teresita how she is doing? Nanay Teresita told Maya that she is fine now that she knows Richard and her are happy. Maya said that since Mamang died, she felt she loves Richard more because of how he has taken cared of her. Nanay Teresita said she knows. She told Maya it is the reason why she allowed her to go back to Manila right away because she saw that Maya would be in good hands with Richard. It seems that these entire engagement thing has not sunk in to Maya because she still feels excited over the fact that Richard introduces her to others as his fiancé. Nanay T was surprised to hear that from Maya. She reminded Maya that she is in fact engaged to Richard. Maya said she is shy to admit it because they might see through her giddiness. When Maya hesitated to say the next thing, Nanay Teresita finished her sentence for her. Nanay Teresita said, “But you love to hear it over and over again right?” “Yes, Nanay” Maya answered. “I feel like I am going to burst with happiness. Is that wrong Nanay?” Maya asked. “Why would it be wrong?” Nanay Teresita answered Maya back. Maya told Nany Teresita that it is because Mamang just passed away. Nanay Teresita told Maya that if Mamang were alive, she would be the first one to remind them not to waste time. She would be disappointed to see that Maya and Richard have not pushed through with the wedding. Maya thought that she must have had a full life with them because she was happy and she was able to show them how much she loves them. Nanay Teresita got quiet for a while. She always does when she thinks of Mamang. You could tell how much she misses her. (I love when Nanay Teresita and Maya speak on the phone. They show the best communication between a Mother and a Daughter.)

Getting ready to leave for school, Abby reminded Richard that Ate Maya is supposed to teach her how to swim today. Richard couldn’t promise her anything because he said she might be tired from work but that she will talk to her later. Luke told Abby he should be off school early so he will help teach Abby how to swim. Nikki tells them that she has a one on one practice with Aryen so she told Abby she might help her next time.

At school, she is coaching Aryen when Amiel shows up. He is there to check out what is going on with the coaching session and since he is the male lead actor, he feels he had to be there. Nikki is obviously distracted by him. When Aryen couldn’t get her part, Amiel suggested for Nikki to show her by playing the role. She agreed but in the midst of the scene, she tripped and almost fell and Amiel caught her. Nikki was awkward and a bit embarrassed so she said she had to go. Stacy and Aryen were left wondering what happened. Amiel followed her. He asked her if she left because he found out she has a crush on him? Nikki knew she had to get out of that situation so she told Amiel the truth that her crush is really Nicolo not him. She only said it was him to his brother because she couldn’t tell him the truth. But (like I said before) Amiel knows Nikki’s crush is Nicolo. She asked him to please not tell Nicolo. Amiel promised.

Winnie R OntiverosAt San Nicolas, Simon brings breakfast to Nanay Teresita who is setting the table. Simon urges her to call Maya. Nanay Teresita dials her. Maya answers the phone and calls her mother Kute???? (huh? Mr Director is your script wrong again?) Anyway, Maya was excited to tell her that last night Richard has entrusted his kids to Maya. Simon said Maya is “boses ipis” again. Maya hears him. She was surprised to see he was there with Nanay Teresita. She told them they just called her that to give her a hard time. Nanay T told Maya the purpose of her call. She said that her and Kute decided that Maya and Richard should not wait for the “One year of mourning” before getting married. She said they should just continue with their original plans to get married. Maya wondered what came over them? Nanay Teresita explained to her that she is getting older. She needs to settle down. She personally wants more grandkids and Kute wants a nephew or a niece. Wait a minute Maya said. What are they talking about? Nay T told her if she is worried about Mamang, she needs to remember that she might be even more excited for her to get married (and to Richard at that. You know Mamang has a big crush on Richard.) The only other concern that she could have is her Time Airways policy she had to adhere to. So Maya told Nay T of the policy change that after the regularization. Simon got excited. Are you serious? Maya asked Nanay T. Her mom told her that they just want to see her happy and not any belief and if they could just base it on her voice? They know what makes her happy. (Waaaaa! Blessings are coming straight from your Mom Maya. How exciting is that?????)

Maya dit di dit dit’s Richard about meeting. Richard rushed because he got worried. At the airport coffee shop, Maya meets with him. She keeps clearing her throat a little nervous about what she wants to say. She told Richard that Nanay Teresita said not to postpone the wedding. Richard asked her if they meant the original plan to get married in the summer? Maya nodded. With two fist pumps Richard said “YESSSSSS” (Waaaaa! Excited much???? We know you are. Finally you can ex out your calendar a day at a time until the date of….the honeymoon?????? Weeee I am so giddy over this.) Richard said, he needs to call Raffy. Oh no, he needs to call the kids, or his Mama and Papa. No Nanay and Chris, he said. Maya tells him to calm down.

At the mansion, the two arrive together. Manang Fe greets them at the foyer. Luke, Nikki and Abby run down the stairs to greet both of them. This time Nikki made sure she greeted her Dad first before her Ate Maya (ha ha jelling your Daddy Nikki) Then Richard said that he has something to tell them. He started with “What if…” Then he leaves them hanging like a monkey on a tree. Nikki couldn’t take it anymore “What Dad, you’re killing us with suspense.” Richard and Maya look at each other and then Richard proceeds “Ok…. Is it ok if we push through with the wedding?” Nikki let out a silent scream. Abby jumped for joy. She hugged her Ate Maya and so did Nikki. Manang Fe held Luke’s arm in excitement. Luke asked him how about the “sukob”. Richard explained to Luke that he spoke to Nanay Teresita and she said that life is too short. They want to see him and Maya be happy. Richard said, “So cease the day.” “Carpe Diem” Nikki said. (Ha ha Nikki you are so dang smart. I had to google that term cuz I didn’t understand what you said. Geese ha ha)“When do we start planning?” Richard said they can begin planning after the kids return from their hiking trip. Then Abby added that would be after they return from their out of town trip to Tagaytay (??? I guess they did change the location of their out of town trip.) Yes Baby Richard replied to very happy and excited Abby. Doris and Sabel arrive to join the family. They were walking and clapping together at the same time. They too are excited.

The article posted on the site was about the comparative AGB ratings ng two giant stations. Alam naman natin na almost sa lahat ng timeslots, yung mga shows ng kabila generally ang nangunguna dun with the exception of our favorite teleserye na ungos sa katapat na talk show (although syempre, the gap is narrower sa AGB than sa Kantar).

Maya brings something to Nikki that she forgot. Nikki was thankful for her Ate Maya who is going to be with them forever. (I heart you Nikki) Richard and Maya stand there like true parents in cahoots and give their last minute “bilin” (advise) to the kids. “Don’t let your sister out of your sight Luke.” Richard said. “Always stay with your brother Nikki” Maya said. “Take a rest when you get tired” Richard said. And…Nikki and Luke had to stop the two. They assured them they will be fine. At the camping trip, as expected, Nicolo and Amiel fight over who’s going to help Nikki. (We saw this one coming.) And then there is a fight over where Nikki should sit in the bus. (I could just look up in the sky on this one.) Maya wonders if they should call the kids to check up on them? Richard told her not to play favorites because they have another kid they should be focusing on. Then he points at Abby. Maya said Baby Abby is number one and then gives her a big hug. (Sigh* They haven’t gotten married yet and they already look so happy.)

Yung fan ng kabilang station na sinasabi ko, kept on bashing sa comments section yung pagkatalo sa ratings ng lahat ng shows ng Dos. Halatang nang-aasar lang sya so nababadtrip ako sa kanya (lurker lang ako dito sa site na ito) until I saw yung isa nyang comment (non-verbatim): “Kaya nga hindi mabitiwan ng Dos ang BCWMH kasi ito na lang yung show nila na panalo sa ratings. Dito na lang sila kumikita ng malaki kaya parang ito na lang ang show nila.”

Weird, I know. Pero natuwa ako sa kanya dahil dito. Aliw lang na kahit pala hindi Kapamliya, acknowledged kahit papaano kung ano ang na-achieve ng BCWMH.

AnonymousMother daughter sharing gives Maya the connection she needed to keep her equilibrium. Nanay Teresita’s wisdom will give the balance she needs. Nanay Teresita at the same time needed Maya since she has time on her hands. Maya just re-affirms that Kute is just being protective towards Nanay.

Maya wonders aloud if it is not right for her to feel the way she feels because of the recent loss of Mamang, but at the same time cannot help herself as everyday Richard shows her how much he really cares.

Sharing with Nanay Teresita that now she is included in every decision, even the redecoration of the house and confirms that she has fallen more in love with Sir Chief because he really took care of her and continuous to care for her.

Now she is entrusted with the children.

Both Nanay Teresita and Kute have agreed that Maya should not postpone the wedding because if Mamang will have her way, she would want the wedding right away.

BFF Simon always makes his presence felt, he is a true friend and ka-pamilya. And Nanay Teresita loves him as a son and shares with him why she and Kute are all smiles.

Maya will always keep her promise to Abby.

Richard had to say “relax” oh so sweetly, tying Maya’s robe. (I was expecting a peck on the cheek or even a hug from Maya) but well, it was not in the script, I guess.

Maya’s request Richard to video the lesson to record Abby’s progress, seems to make Maya more sentimental per Richard’s thinking, but when he requested Luke to get the video for him, Luke states, oh yes so we can record Abby’s progress…Richard it is not sentimentality but practical record purposes only.

Aligagang Nikki panics, but gets the opportunity to be upfront with Amiel about the crush thing. Surprisingly, Amiel shows discernment and knows that it will be awkward for Nikki to have a crush on her brother’s best friend. Amiel remembers tidbits of information that Nikki has readily given but promises not to tell.

Amiel is purposeful, he likes Nikki and it does not deter him from wanting to get to know her better. He also takes opportunities, being sweet to Nikki carrying her books and bag and escorting her to the car – ay, gentleman ha! (Oy Amiel, taking advantage of your being in the know, and playing Nicolo to the hilt). Nicolo gets insecure/

Nikki finds Amiel sobrang sweet….unconsciously Nikki sees the difference of how she is treated by Amiel, who is a gentleman and decisive, while Nicolo treats her like a kid and demanding. Richard’s statement, that whatever Nikki feels for Nicolo is temporary is now being proven to be true.

When Nikki shared Amiel ‘s sweetness with Maya, Maya gets it that Amiel likes Nikki and he is not afraid to show it. This gives Maya concern and shares the information with Richard and suggests that instead of Ilocos, they just go to Tagaytay also so that they’ll have a chance to check on Luke and Nikki. Richard got it right away that Maya is afraid to make a mistake with regards to Nikki and he assures Maya that there is no right or wrong in this situation, you just do your best. Wow Sir Chief, you’ve come a long way, attuned to Maya’s nuances and way of thinking, gets mo na agad.

Sundan ang susunod na kabanata –
Maya is always ready giving Nikki what she needs for her trip. She is overly concerned and aligaga that Richard had to remind her that there is still one more child to think of – of course, Maya says Baby is No. 1 and proceeds to hug and cuddle. Sir Chief looking on with a smile on his face.

Nicolo asserts himself and gets Nikki’s bag. But Amiel had Nikki sit with him, even if Nicolo told Nikki she could sit on the jump seat beside him. Of course Nikki, you prefer to stay where you are…….you are actually enjoying yourself with the two vying for your attention, and teaching Nicolo a lesson.

Yes, the cast and crew of BCWMH should be proud!! Sana bigyan sila ng management ng bonus!!! Ang galing lang talaga ng team ng BCWMH lalo na mga writers!!! Parang kilalang-kilala ng mga writers ang target audience nila na napagbigyan talaga tayo ng kung ano ang kelangan ng mga viewers!! Kudos to you guys!!!

Hindi nila magawang i bash dahil ni minsan, hind sila naka lamang.

Winnie R OntiverosBack at the mansion, Richard takes a video of Abby’s swimming with Luke and Maya. (Hmmm looks like he is only taking Maya ha ha). After a while he told Abby that it is probably enough for now so they all got out of the pool. Luke tells his Dad that he checked out the forums at the University in Singapore and he thought everything was ok. He asked if he is going to be able to go during his sem break? Richard said yes. Nikki finally gets home and she greets everyone at the pool. She tells Maya that she has something to tell her (girl talk again and Richard is out of it again ha ha. It’s a good thing Nikki has Maya for sure. Richard don’t be jealous ha ha) Maya said she and Abby are about to dry up and change so they can talk upstairs.

In Nikki’s room, she tells Maya about what happened in school with Amiel. She wondered why all of a sudden he is so sweet to her? She told her that he helped her with her books and walked her to the car. Maya said maybe that is just the way he is? Nikki wasn’t sure. She said maybe he is concerned because while they were rehearsing she got off balanced. (Nikki it is more like he caught you) Nikki said she really finds it weird. At this time, Nikki got a dit di dit dit. It’s Amiel. Nikki showed it to Maya and his message said “I hope you made it home safely.” (Ummm Nikki why didn’t you tell Ate Maya that Mallows showed up to apologize?) Maya thought maybe he is just concerned.

In the car, on the way to the condo, Maya asked Richard if maybe they should just go to Tagaytay instead of Ilocos so they could be near Nikki. Richard asked her what was her concern? Maya told Richard that she thinks Amiel really likes Nikki. She said that Nikki didn’t say that he is courting her but she is wondering why this guy is acting sweet to her? Richard’s face hardened. Maya asked him to please not tell Nikki what she told him. Moreover, this is why she asks that they should go to Tagaytay instead. Richard said no, he isn’t going to allow Nikki to go hiking and camping anymore. Maya asked Richard to hold on. She told him to remember that Nikki is a very good kid and that they should trust her. She is also sure that even if Amiel courts her that she isn’t going to entertain him because she made a promise to Richard. Fine, said Richard. “I will trust you on this one.” Maya stopped and thought for a moment. Richard asked her what’s the matter? Maya said that maybe he is right. Maybe they should talk to Nikki first. Richard was surprised that Maya changed her mind quickly. He wondered what happened with all of her defense for Nikki? Maya said that she realized that it is different to be responsible for the welfare of the kids. She doesn’t want to disappoint him. Richard wonders if Maya is afraid that he will be upset if she made a mistake? He points out to Maya that there is no right or wrong over raising children. They just have to do what they can. As for the rest, Richard said they would just trust that the kids would take heed to what they taught them. (Woooowwwww! Parenting 101. Thank you Professor Richard Lim and Maya de la Rosa soon to be Lim)

Better acknowledge the truth kesa ma supalpal..

We adiks have elite tendencies. We are secured on top kaya medyo elitista. Pero hindi siya bad! Dahil sa tendency natin na to, we want the best for everything, quality is what we want. Kahit pa magastos. Most adiks don’t mind kung kailangan pagkagastusan at pag laanan ng time lahat ng tungkol sa show.

Chit MedinaHuwag nyo sanang mamasamain ang comment ko at review sa palabas. In fact nagustuhan ko ang tema ng Be careful kaso nga lang ngayon lumalaon at tumatagal, ang palabas na ngayon ay bumabagal at parang pinahahaba na lang ang istoirya. Nawawala na ng highlight ang bawat palabas sa pangaraw araw. Para bang pinahahaba na lang para humaba at tumagal ang palabas. Sa aking palagay, kelangan ng tapusin ang Be careful kasi nawawalan na ng magagandang istilo ang palabas. Pinatatagal at pinahahaba kahit na ang pang araw araw na palabas na ay nagiging boring, too slow, walang highlight at pinatatagal lang ng walang katuturan ang bawat eksena… I enjoyed the show and just want to express my feeling, comment and review to the show. Take for example RY’s album. I’ve been browsing on google and youtube for the songs just to see kung may dl links outside of itunes pero wala! And the album is on top of itunes.

And as we always say, Adiks are mostly educated and well cultured. Di tayo pumapatol sa mga kung ano-ano.

Seeing the characters portray a happy family scenario (without big fights, sampalan or any form of violence) is highlight enough for me (personally speaking). And (feel free to disagree on this one), witnessing the happiness of other people, as an individual or as a family unit was, is and always would be MAY KATUTURAN.
As many of us here in this forum have noted before, “Be Careful with…” mirrors our everyday lives… in reality, not everyday is ‘kilig’ day and we don’t resolve issues/problems (if ever meron man) with a snap of our fingers…
In your own words, you “enjoyed” the show, so that means you are not enjoying it anymore (I’ve offered this solution more than once or twice already: just don’t watch it na lang and leave the forum)… I don’t mind if it’s dragging, kahit snail’s pace pa iyan- I will follow the storyline kahit abutin pa nag siyam2!
In your opinion, you think this teleserye has to end na; IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, THIS TELESERYE SHOULD GO ON FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE (sorry for the capslock!)

Lea Sueta@ Chit, no offense sa comment mo. actually tama ka pinapahaba at pinatatagal nga ang kwento ng BCWMH pero I don’t agree na nawawala na ang essence ng story, na walang highlight bawat episode at walang katuturan ang bawat eksena. aba mabigat yan ha and i feel as a fan of this beloved serye that is really a very unfair statement pero sige opinyon mo yan eh.

the story has EVOLVED tremendously na minsan pag pinapanuod ko ang mga recent episodes i am overwhelmed with how far the characters of Maya and Richard have come to how they are now since they first met sa Jones bridge. maraming nagbago sa kanilang buhay and all for the good of each characters. the writers have remain faithful in showing every milestone in their lives up till now that they are already engaged to be married. they did not give us an over night sensation of make believe that all of the sudden the lead stars fell in love and we as viewers just have to accept that. instead we were given the chance to get to know them and also fall in love with them. selos tayo kung nagseselos si Maya. galit-galitan din tayo kung nag-aaway ang dalawa. nang-aaway tayo kung may kontrabida sa relasyon ng dalawa. in my experience as a viewer of this serye, Richard and Maya’s relationship is not exclusive to just the two of them kasi kasama ako dun at ilang daang libong mga adiks pa. aba eh even in their intimate moments yata eh nandun ako/tayo (kaya PLEASE LANG BCWMH STAFF KAHIT MAGBAYAD AKO NG MAHAL SA HONEYMOON SAMA DAPAT AKO).

one thing i appreciate watching this serye is that it makes me feel lighthearted and happy. the serye does not demand too much strong emotions from me. kung magmura man ako it is because of heightened giddiness sa sobrang pakilig nina Maya and Richard. marami pang bonus sa panunuod na di ko na isa-isahin pa kaya each episode for me is a highlight paving way for the continuity of the story that i am very much eager to watch and anticipate the surprise twists it will bring.

at this point in the story, i don’t see the need for climax unless all of the sudden they are going to end this serye (I HOPE NOT!). yes there are some loose ends that needed to be tied up but likewise many story arcs can still be created without losing BCWMH magic of making this serye realistic and very relatable (is there such a word?) to its audience. bawat eksena for me balances the heavy and important scenes kaya walang dapat itapon. kahit fillers man eh it still evokes emotions. minsan kala natin di naman importante ang isang eksena pero bakit pinapakita. di naman siguro gagastos ng oras at pera ang production in shooting a scene that is totally insignificant sa flow ng story kasi the serye does not have reserved episodes to play around and edit. i remember one episode (the date at the Japanese resto before the proposal) many were asking what the relevance of the scene where Maya almost got hit by the car. that was to highlight that Maya was so distracted thinking of the impending proposal which she and the others (DE, NT, Mamang and Emman) thought may happen that night that she was not careful of her surroundings. lucky Richard who has the presence of mind of course was there to grab her back before she absent mindedly just cross the parking lot.

naku yung tying of the robe ang laki ng significance yata ng eksenang yun sa akin na adik kasi slowly but surely Richard is claiming his woman in a subtle way without making her feel scared to his initiation of physical intimacy. see kahit shy si Maya yet she allowed him to tie her robe kasi she has now opened up to having this sort of intimacy with Richard. after effects eto ng mga gentle prodding ni Richard during the office scene where he asked Maya’s opinion about the suggested design of the house. naive lang si Maya pero di sya sobrang inosente na hindi nya alam intensyon ni Richard aba eh napalunok sya kahapon before nya sabihin “yung masters’ bedroom NATIN”. o di ba waging-wagi si Richard dun kaya para sa akin lahat ng eksena may kwenta depende na lang siguro sa yo na nanunuod. at the end of the day each adik has got different take on every scene and episode so for me go with the flow of the story lang peg ko.

Yes, one of my most favorite scenes in the series is the father-daughter talk when Nikki was all dressed up for the prom na…so tender and touching, with a hint of sadness. HI, cjm, pasulpot-sulpot lang ako, tapos laging French leave, bigla na lang nawawala without proper goodbyes.

As her teenage issues and other growing up concerns especially pertaining to her feelings are increasingly complicating her young life, Ate Maya is the only one privy to such privileged and delicate details that her Dad is starting to feel left out and increasingly getting jealous as he continuously being shut out on that aspect in his daughter’s life. From Nikki’s perspective, Ate Maya provides her with that comfort and experience knowing she had gone thru what she’s going thru now and the fact that Maya as a natural nurturer makes Nikki feel comfortable, secure and as a great listener, she is all ears to what Nikki has to say, never judging nor correcting, simply being there not giving advice or help unless being ask for one. In the same manner that Abby looks up to Ate May and is very comfortable asking for any little thing that her little mind gets interested in… for Ate Maya, always make it so easy to explain to her in the way she understands and the way she comprehends. Ate Maya does it so lovingly and her maternal instinct and nurturing nature is actively kicking in when it comes to Abby and all her young mind’s curiosity.

Sadly, Richard is increasingly getting more and more jealous of such closeness and that getting closer bond between his girls and Maya that he feels threatened, unwanted and irrelevant not to mention that a larger portion of Maya’s time is consumed and occupied by the kids many concerns that he’s feeling left out , feeling KSP (kulang sa pansin) and feeling unloved.

Nakakatawa din magkamay si Ricky parang diring-diri sa sariling kamay niya parang nakahawak lang ng ipot ang peg niya 😉 in fairness bagay yung big black bag ni Maya sa kanya hindi halata parang laptop bag lang ang dala niya.

Grabe that scene is the simplest and most effective surprise ng mga writers sa atin sis!!! Bow talaga ako sa kanila, di talaga kelangan ng mga sampalan, at patayan para tumagos sa ating mga puso ang kaganapan. Subtle things like this make us all smile.

In today’s episode, the writers showcase the many different angles of jealousy. Anyone who stakes an exclusive claim or interest in something or on someone ultimately develops a need to guard, secure and protect that interest from being disturbed in any way, shape or form. In this episode, jealousy surfaces in the most obvious scenarios and in the most unexpected settings. The characters beautifully elicit this feeling in their respective roles and convincingly engage the viewers in the hope of winning their sympathy for their plight.

Richard notices that his children are developing an attachment to Maya which seems to be much closer than their attachment to him. He feels conflicted about it. He is pleased because his children have openly embraced Maya into the family circle and has accepted her as his most significant other but, at the same time, he feels a pang of jealousy because his very own children seem to prefer Maya over him. Nikki seems to share more of what is going on in her life with Maya than she does with her Dad. Upset Abby prefers to seek comfort from Maya, not him. Maya is unwittingly sharing the parental role which he once exclusively held. He realizes that he definitely has some minor adjustments to make over this issue. He knows that he has to slowly relinquish some parental control over his children and learn to share these responsibilities with Maya. But for now, he is feeling a bit jealous.

Amiel is attracted to Nikki and wants a chance for her to get to know him. He has been studying her from afar for a while now and what he learned about her, thus far, makes him interested in her. However, Nikki is presently preoccupied with Nicolo, who lately seems to be a great source of irritation for her. In order to do so, he realizes that he will have to devise a program that will allow him some uninterrupted time with her. His suggestion of hiking and camping is fortunately approved by the school administration as the club’s activity. As an avid backpacker, he will be in his element and will obviously have ample opportunities to shine when he will demonstrate his skills and knowledge in outdoor survival with great dexterity. Hopefully, during this weekend’s camping trip, Nikki will take notice of him. He knows that Nicolo has volunteered to chaperone Nikki to this event and he definitely considers him as his rival. So, he proposes a clever plan. In this plan, he solicits Nikki’s cooperation to play along with him. This plan entails some role playing. He will pretend to be her welcome suitor. He convinces Nikki that this will effectively solve her problem with “Mallows.” He suggests that this plan should discourage Nicolo from further “disturbing her peace.” Additionally, this should provide her the chance to assert her independence and show that she is no longer a “little girl to be bossed around”, that she is, in fact, capable of taking care of herself and making her own decisions. In this plan, Amiel envisions to be able to monopolize most of Nikki’s time. Hopefully, the plan will effectively displace Nicolo from Nikki’s mind and her immediate proximity. Hence, he will be able to “sell” himself to her. Thankfully, she agrees with his proposed plan.

Nicolo is slowly realizing that he may be developing “a thing” for Nikki. Initially, he is just too dense to notice it but this new discovery is rapidly sinking in. Actually, he is unsure how to deal with it. He decides to take on the role of a concerned friend and leans heavily on being Luke’s best friend as his rationale to displaying his overzealous concern over Nikki’s comfort and well-being. He volunteers to carry her bags for her. He offers to share his lunch with her. However, on the way over to the camp site, that Nikki chooses to sit next to Amiel totally incensed him. There is, therefore, no denying now that he is jealous of Amiel. He now sees him as his rival for Nikki’s attention. Consequently, he makes involuntarily irrational decisions that essentially make him look like a buffoon and unfortunately displays his incompetence and insecurity. How can he even begin to compete?

Today’s episode is definitely emotional charged. The awkward situation, in which the teenagers find themselves in, is a great source of entertainment. Moreover, they are definitely showing their masterful grasp of, and have essentially surmounted the director’s expectation, in successfully portraying their respective roles. A lesson learned? One definitely needs to carefully guard himself from expressing his jealousy. He needs to be mindful of Robert Heinlein’s advice. “A competent and self-confident person is incapable of jealousy in anything. Jealousy is invariably a symptom of neurotic insecurity.”

I totally agree with you on Richard’s predicament but he has no choice but to relinquish some of his parental roles especially to his two girls as there simply things that girls would only share to a female adult figure or mother figure and in this case, Maya. There is that unwritten code with girls that can only be shared to the same gender esp when it comes to emotions. But me thinks aside from Nikki getting closer to Maya and her sharing most of her teenage issues with Ate Maya, Richard will also be conflicted at one point on the time and attention that his kids will take from their Ate Maya and reduce his time with his Mahal na Princesa… In the end her will be jealous with the kids as they occupy more and more of Maya’s time and attention. ha ha ha… But, knowing Maya’ time management lang yan ha ha ha… tyvm sis for your take on today’s episode… :))

Sorry Nicolo but I can’t understand your feeling towards Nikki. If you really like her go for it but if you don’t just stop annoying her. I love to see Amiel with Nikki they look good together.

Ang sarap panoorin si Sir Chief na nagkakamay and he did it just to convince Maya and Abby that he can do it but he can’t. Ang cute lang ni Sir Chief and feeling jealous that Nikki doesn’t text him.

And finally Tatay Arturo showed up so this is another sentimental moment that we’ll look forward to see Nanay Teresita and Tatay Arturo to be reunited.

This show is like a true story and the characters are so good that every role they portray just made us feel as if this really happens in their own lives. Very inspiring and amazing show ever of ABS-CBN.

At naku naman si Ricky oo, pasok pasok na agad sa spa? Bawal ka nga dun sabeee!!! Sana may flashback neto pag medyo nahimasmasan na siya! Hihihihi Saka sows, we often see jealous Ricky na ha? Kumusta naman ang ‘competition’ nina Nicolo at Amiel!!!! Bukod sa agawan sa pagbibitbit ng gamit ni Nikki Grace Lim at kung saan siya uupo – there was the Chevrolet vs. taxi; then bimpo vs. wipes with disinfectant at cold de-lata food versus hot food!

Yung tipong may pre-nup shoot, may wedding videographer (si Jason Magbanua, he’s already volunteering!) like iu-upload sa YT yung wedding video from the inaayusan ni NT and TA si Maya sa room, same with Sir Chief with Don and Donya, until sa paglakad sa aisle, hanggang sa kiss and sa reception. Tapos yung wedding mismo, TV special, kasi kulang ang 30 minutes and parang bitin-bitin naman kung installment yun na one week. Basta, writers…. please!!!

Regarding NicNik vs NikMiel. Bagay din ang NikMiel, pero if BCMWH ang usapan, I prefer Nicolo pa din. Iba sila ni Nikki eh. Si Amiel, medyo up in the air pa din intentions nya kay Nikki ghel. Gusto ko maniwala na pinagse-selos na lang si Nicolo. Basta NicNik ako! Cute cute nila eh!

In today’s episode, the writers showcase the many different angles of jealousy. Anyone who stakes an exclusive claim or interest in something or on someone ultimately develops a need to guard, secure and protect that interest from being disturbed in any way, shape or form. In this episode, jealousy surfaces in the most obvious scenarios and in the most unexpected settings. The characters beautifully elicit this feeling in their respective roles and convincingly engage the viewers in the hope of winning their sympathy for their plight.

Richard notices that his children are developing an attachment to Maya which seems to be much closer than their attachment to him. He feels conflicted about it. He is pleased because his children have openly embraced Maya into the family circle and has accepted her as his most significant other but, at the same time, he feels a pang of jealousy because his very own children seem to prefer Maya over him. Nikki seems to share more of what is going on in her life with Maya than she does with her Dad. Upset Abby prefers to seek comfort from Maya, not him. Maya is unwittingly sharing the parental role which he once exclusively held. He realizes that he definitely has some minor adjustments to make over this issue. He knows that he has to slowly relinquish some parental control over his children and learn to share these responsibilities with Maya. But for now, he is feeling a bit jealous.

Amiel is attracted to Nikki and wants a chance for her to get to know him. He has been studying her from afar for a while now and what he learned about her, thus far, makes him interested in her. However, Nikki is presently preoccupied with Nicolo, who lately seems to be a great source of irritation for her. In order to do so, he realizes that he will have to devise a program that will allow him some uninterrupted time with her. His suggestion of hiking and camping is fortunately approved by the school administration as the club’s activity. As an avid backpacker, he will be in his element and will obviously have ample opportunities to shine when he will demonstrate his skills and knowledge in outdoor survival with great dexterity. Hopefully, during this weekend’s camping trip, Nikki will take notice of him. He knows that Nicolo has volunteered to chaperone Nikki to this event and he definitely considers him as his rival. So, he proposes a clever plan. In this plan, he solicits Nikki’s cooperation to play along with him. This plan entails some role playing. He will pretend to be her welcome suitor. He convinces Nikki that this will effectively solve her problem with “Mallows.” He suggests that this plan should discourage Nicolo from further “disturbing her peace.” Additionally, this should provide her the chance to assert her independence and show that she is no longer a “little girl to be bossed around”, that she is, in fact, capable of taking care of herself and making her own decisions. In this plan, Amiel envisions to be able to monopolize most of Nikki’s time. Hopefully, the plan will effectively displace Nicolo from Nikki’s mind and her immediate proximity. Hence, he will be able to “sell” himself to her. Thankfully, she agrees with his proposed plan.

Nicolo is slowly realizing that he may be developing “a thing” for Nikki. Initially, he is just too dense to notice it but this new discovery is rapidly sinking in. Actually, he is unsure how to deal with it. He decides to take on the role of a concerned friend and leans heavily on being Luke’s best friend as his rationale to displaying his overzealous concern over Nikki’s comfort and well-being. He volunteers to carry her bags for her. He offers to share his lunch with her. However, on the way over to the camp site, that Nikki chooses to sit next to Amiel totally incensed him. There is, therefore, no denying now that he is jealous of Amiel. He now sees him as his rival for Nikki’s attention. Consequently, he makes involuntarily irrational decisions that essentially make him look like a buffoon and unfortunately displays his incompetence and insecurity. How can he even begin to compete?

Today’s episode is definitely emotional charged. The awkward situation, in which the teenagers find themselves in, is a great source of entertainment. Moreover, they are definitely showing their masterful grasp of, and have essentially surmounted the director’s expectation, in successfully portraying their respective roles. A lesson learned? One definitely needs to carefully guard himself from expressing his jealousy. He needs to be mindful of Robert Heinlein’s advice. “A competent and self-confident person is incapable of jealousy in anything. Jealousy is invariably a symptom of neurotic insecurity.”

I totally agree with you on Richard’s predicament but he has no choice but to relinquish some of his parental roles especially to his two girls as there simply things that girls would only share to a female adult figure or mother figure and in this case, Maya. There is that unwritten code with girls that can only be shared to the same gender esp when it comes to emotions. But me thinks aside from Nikki getting closer to Maya and her sharing most of her teenage issues with Ate Maya, Richard will also be conflicted at one point on the time and attention that his kids will take from their Ate Maya and reduce his time with his Mahal na Princesa… In the end her will be jealous with the kids as they occupy more and more of Maya’s time and attention. ha ha ha… But, knowing Maya’ time management lang yan ha ha ha… tyvm sis for your take on today’s episode… :))

I know I said I like Amiel for Nikki before but today, I give 30 points to Nicolo coz he really made me laugh out loud not just once but so many times.
( 10x kong ni rewind again ha ha ha ) Plus he seemed so wawa and parang he was really trying hard to please Nikki.
Natawa ako when he got out from the taxi na may dalang 2 carry on’s plus may backpack pa. Promding promdi lang ang dating.
Cute din niya when he said ” Niknik, dito ka na ” and patted the seat next to him na walang sandalan and prodding her to sit there.

Sana, if you offered your seat katabi ni Luke, baka naka 1 point ka pa from Nikki.
I liked the way he looked at Nikki after she put the salonpas on his neck while Nikki was just deadma sa kanya.

Just a question and I hope this won’t be seen as a negative comment. Although I love the hiking part, I don’t see how it could help them with their Wes Teatro scenes. Or did I miss something?
And while I’m at it, I got another observation.
Although ang cute ni SC mag kamay, ( na isip ko talaga si Winnie O dito ) I find it odd na magkakamay sila at what seems to be a classy restaurant.
( judging from the glasses / kopita that were used at the dinner table ) wala lang…

Hihihih I dont think the writers would choose not to grap opportunities and scenarios like this.

Lastly, yung mga ghels sa spa room wagas makapagtakip ng robe nun pumasok si SC. Kung ako yun…..

Carmen CamelloMaya’s wardrobe needs an over haul! Why is she wearing shirts that are too big and the colors don’t flatter (yellow/black with light blue pants? Uugggghhh)
And was she wearing SC’s speedo over her bathing suit while teaching swimming Abby? LOL. Why can’t she wear a one piece swimsuit while at the hot tub?
Needs a better stylist. Isn’t she the CEO’s fiancé? We can send nice stuff for Maya from Nordstrom. Hahahahah!

Nikki is too OA! Isn’t she only 13 and why focus on boys instead of good friendship? It comes out her character trying too hard with these two guys who are kinda awkward. Why does she have to be the center of attraction while having fun with schoolmates? She can be the center of attraction in a much positive way not something as embarrassing as that scene. No wonder the father is hesitant to let go on school outings like this. Whoever is developing this character should think of something that will improve her better. Perhaps acting wise Nikki will become likekable. She should get tips from Abby whose acting is really spot on!

Abby, Luke and most of all SC’s acting have greatly improved.

E-Queue Ox4dYou seem overly concerned with Mayabel’s wardrobe… and now that you’ve mentioned it, why don’t you apply for the job and maybe, just maybe the management can sack the current stylist and replace whoever that person (with no fashion sense) is with you!
And I maybe wrong on this, but I don’t think she was wearing Sir Chief’s Speedo during that particular episode (looked like it was just loose shorts)… pagtali pa nga lang ng bathrobe, di na makatingin ky Sir Chief, eh… magsuot pa kaya ng something like a man’s swimming attire?
Nikki is Nikki… maarte (the whole West Hill school knows), di sanay maputikan… I don’t think she did it to attract attention…’nough said!
We already like Nikki the way she is, thank you very much!

Sabi nga ni SC, “i like it better than sir chief.You can call me that”… Kilig at kilig pa rin!

Sana yung sinasabing pasabog ni @jimuel ay something along the lines na…let’s get married tomorrow or next week or next month! I prefer kasi na walang jump sa time. gusto ko subaybay pa rin natin bawat araw nila just like the past 14+ months.

Di naman siguro tungkol kay tatay arturo yung pasabog noh? andyan na kaya sya kahit di pa alam ni Maya..

Ako rin, I prefer na sabay ang timeline natin. Mas makaka-relate ang audience. Isa pa, gusto ko namnamin bawat stage and moment ng characters sa show, lalo na at marami silang teens at bata dun- ang panget naman if super fasttrack. They change and grow up fast na nga as it is. Following the real timeline, ang dami pa nilang maiinject sa story, and this of course, will help para mas hindi pilit ang extension ng show. Di ba we want it to be forever? At ito naman talaga ang minahal natin sa kanila- parang bahagi sila ng buhay natin na as if kasama mo lang sila sa bahay.
