UPDATE Mon, 10/20/2014

Gap 1
– Richard’s office…Celeste asking Richard to meet with the board. Richard asked Celeste to spare his staff. Then, Ricky asked Minerva to call Aris to help him with his things.
– Maya at coffee shop perhaps in the airport and looking very sad.

– Sonny and Engr Yamaguchi rushing to Minerva to ask why their Chief was not in the board meeting. Then one employee asked everyone to check their email where it states that Celeste Madrigal is the new CEO of LAS. Gulat silang lahat.
– Ricky clearing his office. Ang lungkot lungkot ni sweetheart while packing.

– 30 days of love and happiness iyong scene ng “fall of the Bataan..este black bag pala” and the morning after.

Gap 2
– Aris carrying Ricky’s things out of his office.
– Celeste and bokalbs tried to stop Ricky from leaving. Ricky said in front of everyone that he cannot work with Celeste because he cannot work with people who do not trust him. He said LAS was started and built on trust on their people. Akala ni kalbo na pride lang ni Ricky ang na-hurt. Ricky reminded Celeste of his request. Narinig ng staff lahat kasama iyong ipinagbebenta niya ang kanyang shares sa LAS. Contact lang daw siya kung sino man ang interesado. Then, Ricky walked out. Ang lungkot ng mga LAS employees esp Engr Yamaguchi, Sonny, and Minerva.

– Maya at airport lounge and calls Manang Fe. Nagkamustahan pero di sinabi ni Maya ang problema.. Nagpapakuwento kay MF para malibang.
– Ricky in his car and called his mom. He said he is just checking on them to see how they are doing, but did not tell DE about his decision. Nag i love you lang sa mama niya.
-Maya back from her flight and rushing toward their car. Kita niya sa backseat ang kahon ng things ni Ricky. Tanong niya kung sasabihin na nila sa mga bata…Ricky said they have to.

Good for Ricky that he was finally able to tell them in their faces why he is leaving…hindi hurting his pride, but lack of trust…di marunong ang board members ng kapit-bisig.

Gap 3
– Dating ang mag-asawa sa mansion…salubong lahat ng kids at ipinakita ang tweety bird trick ng kambal. Luke asked about work and Ricky asked the kids to go upstairs to talk. Luke asked Abby to stay behind with the twins and their yayas, but Daddy included Abby in the meeting. Ricky told and explained his ousting and his decision to let go of the company.

– Nasa bedroom na ang mag-asawa. Tumawag si Ryan kay Ricky at puede raw nilang i-counter ang move ng board. Ryan said he would be resigning, but Ricky stopped him. Ryan encouraged Ricky to establish a new business to show the board they are wrong and Ricky could call him any time if he needs a drinking buddy or someone to talk to or for anything. What a friend siya talaga kay Ricky…brod talaga.

– Next caller is Engr Yamaguchi.
– Sumulat ng email si Ricky sa mga staff niya. “Right now, trust is more important than innocence.” Mahaba at makabagbag damdamin ang content ng letter niya….panoorin ninyo ang epi at maririning ninyo ang isinulat niya. Pati boses ni Ricky nakakaiyak.

Gap 4
– Next morning na sa breakfast table with only Maya. Maya asked kids to stay home to keep their Dad company, but Richard came out of the room all dressed. Malungkot ang breakfast nila. Tahimik lahat.

– Sa airport lounge, tawag si Maya kay Kute. Alam ni Kute na hindi pa nagsasalita si Richard. Maya asking for advice on what to do. Ang galing ni Kute na sounding board. Na-overheard ni Lino ang convo ni Kute with Maya…at ayun itinismis na kay Nay Tere…eh, wala pang alam si NT.

Teaser:
– Sugod si NT kay Kute to verify what she heard from Lino. Nakakatawa itsura ni Lino sa background — looking guilty.
– Presscon ng LAS to show new management.
– Convo ni Joni and Luke sa car about the happening. Galing mag-analyze din ni Joni sa situation.
– Sinundo ni Ricky si Maya sa airport. Ricky thinks the institute may be in for a hard start, but Maya encouraged him.
– Nagsimba ang mag-asawa.
– Luke encouragages his Dad that they should go for and make the institute succeed.
– Maya suggested selling the house.

Iyan lang po ang nakayanan…Bahala na si Sis Kcrica sa scaps.

Mabigat pa rin sa damdamin ang epi, pero maraming magagandang lessons and values/virtues na matututunan. They touched on trust, truth, friendship, the importance of family and kapit-bisig, etc. It is worth watching in my opinion.

Below is the email Ricky wrote to Minerva, Sonny, and Engr Yamaguchi:

Dear Colleagues,

I would’ve reprimanded you for calling and texting me at this time of the night. You are lucky I am no longer your boss.

I know you have a lot of questions. Most of you are wondering why I was fired, why I decided to let go. All I can tell you now is that Lim Aviation Services is not guilty of what it is being accused of, but in a time of confusion such as this, it takes more than innocence to keep the company afloat. In this case, right now, trust is more important than innocence, but I do know that in due time, LAS will get the justice that it deserves.

If there is something that I am proud off in my 20 years in Lim Aviation Services, it is that I have worked with people who are professional, skillful and very hardworking, and now, before I venture into the next phase of my career allow me to thank all of you for your service. I will miss you and I hope in the future we will have the chance to work together again.

Luke: Kayo ang may pinakamalaking share di ba?

Richard: Not anymore. I decided to let go of the company.

Richard’s letter is so touching and very personal, considering he is writing to his staff — this really shows how he value the people in LAS.

I also like the scene in LAS, when Celeste and Charles approach him when he was about to go… Trust is important… trust is LAS’ foundation…. great words!!!

I wanted to punch Celeste when she said something like, I can appoint you… what the???? And she really have the nerve to say that????

It’s really hard to accept, but leaving LAS is the best thing Richard did after what happened… it’s true, it’s hard to work with people who don’t trust you…

…after reading again Richard’s letter, these words stand out:

I see some parallelism between Steve Jobs/Apple Computers and Richard Lim/LAS…real versus reel. Jobs founded Apple and Richard founded LAS. Jobs recruited John Sculley to Apple and Richard recruited Celeste Madrigal to LAS. Sculley ousted Jobs from Apple and Celeste ousted Richard from LAS. Jobs left Apple and sold all of his shares (save for one share), almost like what Richard is doing to his shares of LAS. So far, hanggang dito pa lang ang parallel worlds nila.

After leaving Apple, Jobs founded NeXT Computers which was eventually bought by Apple with Jobs returning to Apple as part of the deal, and Jobs later on became the CEO of Apple again. Who knows…Richard will push on with his institute which will later on be acquired by LAS with Richard returning to LAS as part of the deal and Richard becoming the CEO of LAS once again.

Di ba ang BCWMH is a reflection of life? Baka ala-Steve Jobs ang maging dating ni Richard in the long run at puede rin itong maging starting point na BCWMH book 3 (umaasa pa rin sa ‘happy lang…walang ending’).

Bakit affected ako after finally watching Thursday’s and Friday’s episode?
Ramdam ko ang kirot sa mga puso nila.The actors portrayed their roles so well that the viewers are really transported to their world.

My guess is that the clients will put back Richard Lim as the CEO since one of the conditions of given by the board to their clients is to give them whatever their demands (as per the conversation between Richard and pesteng celeste)A vote of confidence will bring back Richard…the truth will prevail

Me too sis. I love the show pero hindi ko talaga kaya na inaapi si richard. Babalikan ko na lang ang episodes that i missed pag medyo gv na.

I hope that they won,t let that celeste and that kalbo get away with it what they did to ricky. Bwisit talaga sila.

Hula ko lang. Since late sila nakalipad dahil may taping pa, di na sila siguro nakasama sa rehearsal ng finale. Or maybe they were given last minute instructions what to do sa finale kaya to the left to the right lang sila ng stage. Si jodi kc pinamigay na yung mike nya. Si RY naman parang di alam kanino aabot yung mike nya kaya kareoke singing na lang sya.

Gusto ko pa rin yung pockets nya. Ganda ng tabas.

Ayun lang talaga silang dalawa dun sa dulo, ganyang ganyan lang, literal na simula hanggang dulo. Haaay Sarap ng may kaganyan! Nainggit?

Before I watched the thursday episode, dumaan muna ako dito so alam ko na that celeste voted to oust Richard, i also saw the screencap of Richard in that heartbreaking moment alone in the conference… but nothing prepared me watching the episode,,, after watching it, i was literally stunned, nakatulala ako… and siguro masochist ako kasi i watched that episode again and again over the weekend… Richard Yap’s portrayal is really amazing! The hurt and pain transcend from the screen and it felt like stabbing my heart. The couple’s airport scene is also for the record, that i wanted to hug them both to tell them everything will be fine…

Hay! I will definitely miss Richard-Maya tandem and the entire BCWMH family…
