Mahirap talagang kalimutan ang nakasanayan
After a one week worth of making it’s audience cry and draw out the emotional aspect of Maya moving out in which the show had done a really good job in showing the viewers the transition, this episode is more like a “filler”. It’s setting up for the next phase of the story.
Regardless, let’s go ahead and dissect the important scenes 🙂 I like the way the writers are showing the impact of Maya not living at the house anymore to each of the characters. Not just to Richard (I’ll talk about him later). It’s the same across the board. I especially love when Nikki suggested to put Maya on a speaker phone during breakfast. They got so used to starting off their day with positivity, and that is Maya. That phone conversation is their way of compensating as if Maya’s still there. Both Maya. The family just has to switch to a different mind set and get used to the new situation.
Now Richard: I think Raffi is just looking for that verbal confirmation from Richard that he terribly misses Maya and that he is sad about the situation. Raffi, is one of the characters outside the box looking in. And based on what she saw during her short stay with them, she’s convinced there is something magical between the two. She knows Maya makes Richard happy and vice versa. She changed him. After that horrible feeling of losing someone when he lost his wife, Raffi is making sure he doesn’t feel he “lost” Maya. When Maya’s moving out was finally happening, I asked myself, what about their night capping? I know I bring this up a lot. Only becasue I think this is huge part of their story. They connect so much during these talks. This is something what “real” couples ignore to do. No matter how crazy eachother’s day gets, stop and find time to check in. I’m glad the writers were able to address that when Richard looked at the empty chair. Usually, Richard cuts the conversation short, but not this time. The smiles were so visible on both Maya and Richard’s faces while on the phone with eachother. Hearing from someone you care for a lot does make a huge difference. He doesn’t have to spell out “I MISS YOU SO MUCH”, his tone with her says it all!

Hindi lang mga fans ang nagkakagulong magpa-picture sa kanya, kundi pati na rin ng mga artista ng GMA 7.
Nakipagsiksikan pa ang komedyanteng si Chariz Solomon sa backstage ng Teatrino Greenhills kung saan ginawa ang Golden Screen awards for TV.
Hindi nga inalintana ni Chariz ang pagiging Kapuso *artist niya na katunggali ng Kapamilya nu’ng sandaling ‘yon, makalapit lang kay Richard.
Parehong stand by para sa pagpi-present ng magkakahiwalay na award sina Chariz at Richard. At nu’ng dumugin na ng mga tao si Richard, nakipagsiksikan na rin si Chariz.
Matapos siyang mapa*kuha ng photo kasama ang tsinitong aktor, sumigaw pa ang komedyana ng “Sir Chief, pinanonood ko ang show mo!” May iba pang artista ng GMA kaming nakita na nagpakuha ng picture kay Richard.

Patuloy ang pagdating ng suwerte sa isa sa hot property ngayon ng ABS-CBN na si Richard Yap matapos niyang magwagi last Friday, March 1 sa katatapos na 2012 Golden Screen TV Awards ng Entertainment Press Society Incorporated o ENPRESS na ginanap sa Teatrino, Greenhills.
Nasungkit ni Richard ang award na Outstanding Breakthrough Performance By An Actor para sa My Binondo Girl ng ABS-CBN.
Ang naturang awards night ay dinumog ng fans na gusto siyang makamayan at magpalitrato kasama niya.
At pati na rin ang ilang celebrities na naroon noong gabing iyon tulad ni Kara David ay kinikilig din kay Sir Chief —na kilalang tawag din kay Richard ngayon dahil sa karakter niya sa Be Careful With My Heart.
Kaya kinuha namin ang opinion ni Richard sa kasikatang nararanasan niya ngayon.
“Medyo naiilang nga ako, kasi hindi ako sanay sa ganoong klase ng atensiyon.
“Pero, baka masanay rin tayo later on… I don’t know… siguro dahil sa bago pa lang tayo,” panimulang pahayag niya sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
COPING WITH STARDOM. Paano na ang kanyang privacy, lalo na kapag nagpapasyal sila sa malls kasama ang kanyang pamilya?
“Depende, e… kapag hindi masyadong matao yung mall, okay lang.
“Pero kapag maraming tao, minsan talagang maraming nagpapa-picture. Pero okay lang naman, pinagbibigyan naman natin as much as possible.”
Paano nagko-cope ang kids mo kapag nasa mall kayo at pinuputakti ka ng fans; nagtataka ba sila?
“Hindi naman, kasi medyo malalaki na rin naman ang kids ko, so they understand. Alam naman nila na kapag show business, e… so kapag maraming tao ay tumatabi na lang sila,” nakangiting saad niya.
“Kung hindi naman nakakasagabal sa oras ko ay okay lang.
“Usually, ang mahirap lang kapag nagmamadali ka at may hinahabol kang oras, yun lang ang mahirap doon.
“You can’t tell sa mga tao na I have to go, kasi baka sasama naman ang loob ng iba,” dagdag pa ni Richard.
UNEXPECTED SHOWBIZ SUCCESS. In-expect ba niyang darating sa kanya ang ganitong suwerte kahit na noong bagong pasok pa lang siya sa showbiz?
“Hindi talaga, kasi akala ko ay sandali lang ako sa Binondo Girl. I thought na… well… first few weeks lang ako roon. Pero medyo humaba nang humaba hanggang sa matapos na iyong show.”
Itinuturing niyang malaking blessing ang pagpasok niya sa showbiz kaya hindi siya nagrereklamo sa mga pagbabagong nangyayari sa kanyang buhay ngayon.
“Of course it’s a blessing, kasi alam mo, marami kasing tao ang gustong maging andito sa posisyon ko. So, I guess I could say na I’m very lucky and very blessed.
“Kaya kahit walang masyadong pahinga, pero since work is a blessing, wala tayong reklamo roon.”
Nagpapasalamat din siya at hindi sila iniintriga o inili-link ni Jodi Sta. Maria kahit marami ang kinikilig sa kanilang tambalan sa kanilang TV program sa Dos.

For the last two episodes, ang dami ng nababagalan. Ang dami ng excited sa ligawan. Ninja turtle na raw si SC pati na ang mga writers. Personally, I do not think it was dragging or slow. I’d rather brand it as subtle. If you try to think of it, chatting online and over the phone over issues like child rearing aren’t activities you share with someone you don’t really trust. Sa part ni Sir Chief, to confide his insecurity with Maya, it meant na confidante niya na talaga si Maya. It was a subtle way to show that indeed nagle-level up na ang relationship nila. Yes, there wasn’t much kilig vibes kanina nor noong Monday but then again, ito na ang nakasanayang trend eh. Mag bibuild pa muna ng suspense yung mga writers kasi mawiwindang ang lahat sa prom night.

Although marami ang mga nagsasabi na dragging or mabagal ang takbo ng story but for me, I think the writers just wanted to really emphasized the importance of the details why SC and Maya will come to a certain relationship rooted with individual needs but can always be complimented when they are together. A certain scenario or many more scenes that will remind both of them, one cannot move forward without the other. The feeling of depedency and assurance of the presence of each other cannot be denied eventually!

I’ve also heard this multiple times that Richard is becoming dependent on Maya and vice versa. I don’t completely agree.. I’d say it’s more like they COMPLIMENT eachother. As individual they’re both great, but together they are amazing!

I second the motion!!! parang ang dating kasi si Maya lang ang may gusto and si SC namimiss niya lang si Maya dahil may kailangan siya. And usually kung may problema si SC hindi pa si Maya ang una niyang takbuhan, may si Alex at Rafi pa siyang una naalala. Tama nga ang reaction ni Emman!!! If SC really is in love with Maya, kulang talaga sa effort!!
I agree, we can’t just move forward to the “ligawan” stage immediately. This is a journey and as they embark into this new chapter we need to see how they would evolve as “individuals”.
Sir chief will be the doting “dad/mom” attending to the needs of her kids but there are things that only a mom can relate too. Maya on the other hand would still have a great presence into their lives but I think this would eventually scale down as she tries to pursue her dreams and do things for herself.
It will take a lot of self-discovery and self-realization before we finally move on to the “love” phase for both of them…One thing for sure though, there will be a lot of “kilig” moments 🙂

Funny how they tried to communicate thru FB until Sir Chief decided to just call Maya because he doesn’t have the patience to deal with it.
The way the story goes, it maybe a while before Sir Chief finally decides to open up his heart. He brought up Alex on this episode, he rarely does that. This month may still be the “develop-an” stage.

Me too. Kasi it shows development. Regardless whether we like luis or not. It made us watch and held our breaths kahit filler episodes, kahit yung easy and kalma episodes, we really liked, because we know sir chief feels something. Right now i don’t see it. He misses a friend not a prospective lover and this is supposed to be primarily a love story.
Kung gusto nila ng extension, try nila na si sir chief ang maghabol kasi they can stretch that for a few more months. Let maya realize her worth and hindi na maging doormat kay sir chief. She can still be friends with him but then hindi na siya mamalimos ng kahit kapiranggot na atensyon mula kay sir chief. An empowered and confident maya for a change would be very nice! Dagdagan na nila ng maraming manliligaw na would make maya their first choice always!
Why don’t they try putting in Sam Milby or any of the well known hunks of ABS as a catalyst to the relationship of SC and Maya? Para doble kilig sa atin!!!

Is it just me or is it only Tuesday?
I think we’re just a little too excited here about Ser Chief making his “da moves”. We have to remember that Maya has just technically been gone for 2 days based on the story. As early as now, the writers have shown how much void there is without Maya in the house. Even Ser Chief finds reasons to talk to her over the phone.
I think that in as much as the writers can put twists in the story with Maya not leaving the Lim’s household, they can also do just the same with her at Emman’s condo. They can even add more characters to spice things up or they can opt to re-focus on the Simon-Maya angle.
But I have to agree, putting a woman rival for Maya in the story will just make her even more insecure and determined to just focus on her dream ( forget about her one-sided love for SC).
What the viewers need to see now dear writers is a definitive moment where Ser Chief doesn’t see Maya as a mere friend or a second Rafi…but someone he’s romantically attracted to
I think what most of us are getting from the recent scenes is that Maya is slowly turning out to be a confidant, a friend to Ser Chief. This is good too as it establishes how important Maya is to the Lim family.
But, ” when will we see that she’s not just a mere friend?, is the more important question.
I think I’ll give the writers this week as a filler week. I’m expecting Monday to start with a BANG!
To perk up the lonely, kilig-seeking hearts of the BCWMH addicts ( like me )
As to the development of their love story, in my opinion it may not happen quickly so brace your selves on more disappointments. How can a love story develops when Richard himself cannot identify his feelings towards Maya or is just afraid of putting a name to it? Maybe he is just about to discover his feelings for Maya. Maya already confessed yet he did not do anything about it. Though he did not shy away from her nor discourage her yet isn’t enough reason that he has fallen for her. Maybe he is smitten which is a good thing because he sure is a very jealous boss around Maya.
What I’d like to see happen is for the kids especially Luke and Nikki to realise their father needs a good woman beside him and that is Maya of course. For now the kids are so engrossed with their own lives they don’t see how lonely their father is. They don’t even realise that their father and Maya has established a partnership in silently helping them all to move on and be a happy family that they are now. Both Luke and Nikki recognised Maya’s presence in Abby’s life and that’s it. Of course we as viewers knew all the happy changes in the Lim household are due to Maya’s positive approach with regards to family dynamics.
I hope that this week Maya and Nikki will forge a strong relationship as friends. That Nikki will look up to her as someone she can trust and rely on. Nikki’s approval of Maya is very important so this week episodes are very crucial to the future love relationship of Richard and Maya. We all know that Nikki did not like Maya at the start and only recently warmed to her so if we push for Richard and Maya to be together without Luke and Nikki understanding and realising her worth to their family will only prove to become a hindrance in their love story so I hope we all take it easy and put trust on the writers. My only gripe is that now that Maya had moved out, we get little interactions between the two leads.
Actually, I agree with you. What I just reacted to (overeacted is more like it) is the thought that a third party would be added to make Maya jealous again kasi parang it would be leading the story in the wrong direction. But am quite satisfied with the pace this week actually.

Although I agree with some of the comments here regarding the story’s slow pacing it’s nice to read comments that show the other side of the coin.
I think it was a good development to get Maya out of the Lim household, not only for the sake of character development on Maya’s part but also of SC’s. The thing is, 2 episodes after we are left wanting for that progress to come esp. for SC as it’s already established that he will miss her enough for him to realize finally that he has fallen for her. But then, just like one commenter noted it’s just 2 days since she left so, yeah, maybe it’s too early pa nga for that development to take place.
By this time Maya’s departure should have evoked a realization on SC’s part that he is indeed in love with her now, which ensues a myriad of romantic scenarios that we can spazz on; hopefully on the next episodes we will be able to see more of those. I also agree with the comebacks of her pursuers to set our SC (read: Slow Chief) in action.
P.S. I like what Emman said to Maya on the teaser found in today’s episode: “Gurl, hindi naman pwedeng habang buhay kang magiging go-to girl ng Ser Chief mo!” Sana yung promotion niya from a go-to girl to a genuine love interest ay hindi i-stretch nang matagal.
I agree. Ang all time favourite episode ko yung nagselos si SC kay Simon (assumera ako, selos na yon talaga) nung nasundan ni Simon si Maya sa Maynila. Hindi ko binabalikan yung mga episodes na may ibang girls.

Alarmed ako kanina when I checked the Kantar TV ratings and saw the BCWMH ratings dropped to 24.9% considering that Friday episode was for me CLASSIC, one of the best talaga. Medyo bumaba pa nang konti yesterday but usually pag Monday it would be that way pero pag towards the end of the week supposedly tumataas. Kaya the Friday ratings was so disheartening!
I trust din the writers kasi I remember ganito rin yung feeling before the Harana episode. Parang ang bagal then biglang nag adrenaline rush.
I hope nagtatampo lang yung ibang viewers kasi umalis na si Maya ng mansion but they will be back, hopefully SOON!

Both the story and its characters have to develop. In SC’s case, his character wouldn’t be believable if he’s portrayed head over heels in love with Maya 2 days after she moves out. They’ve been showing his affection for Maya grow over the last few weeks to establish a gradual realization of his emotions. Now, it has to transition and the epiphany will come shortly. Maya’s love was established from day one. Her development will be in her career and maturity into a woman to lessen their drastic differences in age, social status, life experiences, wisdom (Maya being NBSB), etc. Regarding SC’s “pagong-like” movement, I think he’s giving Maya the freedom she needs to grow as a person and to ultimately achieve her dreams. He doesn’t want to burden her. This shows great love & sacrifice!
In the meantime, Maya’s character, from the supporting characters’ perspective, is evolving from the “yaya” to being a trusted family member/friend. Nikki was her greatest nemesis and would likely have been the one to go against SC & Maya’s relationship. As you can see with this week’s focus, they’re breaking down her walls. I believe that after this week, Nikki’s view of Maya will transition from “best yaya in town” to someone she can accept as a mom.
There is a gamut of ways they can pacifiy our need for kilig moments, which they have done since the show started. I think the writers will continue with these kilig snippets, but remember, SC & Maya are headed towards happily ever after. The writers have to establish a stong & deep foundation for their relationship as well as develop SC & Maya’s relationship accordingly to coincide with their profoundly principled philosophies. I’m relieved that the writers have enough respect for us viewers by making the story as relatable to real life as possible. Speeding it up will make it too cheesy. I trust that the twists & big surprises are coming very soon. Kapit bisig!
I am not asking the writers to have SC pin Maya against the four walls of the elevator and passionately make love to her. For God’s sake, all I’m asking is that SC show a little hint that he is interested in Maya in the romantic sense. Send her flowers sa condo. Is that asking too much?
SC is supposed to be this intelligent, high achieving, go-getter guy. Hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin niya alam kung ano talaga nararamdaman niya para kay Maya? Is he for real? Give me a break. I’m sorry but I feel the writers are insulting our intelligence.

1) Richard realizing that his family needs someone that will fill the “mommy” image and Rafi is the bestfriend that not all the time available
2) When he saw May online he is more concern why is she still awake and only shows he doesn’t want to bother her with his problem
3) Maya can feel even from afar if something is bothering Richard (parang magkadikit na bituka nila)
4) Richard slowly being vocal on his appreciation to Maya
Medyo mabagal at konting kilig lang ang epi today pero naniniwala parin ako na this is something to build up yung More Kilig scenes na ikakaDedz ng buong university.

I understand Ser Chief’s inhibitions, though.
He is after all, by nature calculative and very cautious. The show has already established that. He’s not the usual leading man when after realizing his feelings would all be lovey-dovey na kaagad. Kung sabagay nga considering his traits before he felt a soft spot for Maya – he is entirely different now, and I am already comforted by this realization.
Kahit na minsan I’m at the brink of frustration din dahil mag-eeight months na ang show wala pa ring ligawan ang nagyayari.
Siguro nga this week hindi Maya-Ser Chief love team ang focus kundi yung Maya-Nikki para naman may foreshadowing na rin yung future mag-nanay
Naku sis, wag naman sana madagdagan ang long list ng girls nitong si Ricardo. I’m contented with the pacing as it is kasi nagegets ko naman na this is to develop the characters and their relationships with each other pero nakakaloka na kung magdagdag pa sila ng pamapajelling eh hindi pa nga established if there’s something going on between the two leads. that as of this stage, being a friend to his children is where Maya fit perfectly. However, as I watched SC’s face watching Maya helping Nikki with the earrings and probably overhearing their discussion about Alex, it seems he came to a realisation that that woman who is so willing to help and understands her daughter’s predicament is actually what is missing in his life right now. It brings me back to that Baguio episode when Maya asked him kung ano ang hinahap niya sa isang babae which SC answer;s simply:” somebody I can be with, somebody that will love me and my children and somebody na matindi din magmahal sa pamilya niya.” Unknowingly, that time he was actually describing the woman (Maya of course) in front of him. The question is yon lang ba tlaga ang hinaanap niyang qualities? Abangan ang susunod na kabanata?

At first I was worried about how Richard and Maya will handle the kids when they do get to that point and decide to be together without making them feel their mother is being replaced. This episode sort of gave me a glypmse of what might happen. It looks like everything should be fine. Nikki said it perfectly. Her mom is in a better place now and that they just need to cherish those happy memories they’ve shared. Alex’s death became everyone’s monster to face. It was such a taboo topic that no one ever wanted to talk about. The family never really got through the whole grieving process. In her own way, Maya was able to complete that cycle for them. I remember that episode with they lit a chinese lantern for Abby’s pets. Personally, that was an important step for the whole family, not just for Abby, to deal with the grief, acknowledgement and then acceptance. Nikki needs that someone to fill the void of longing for a mother, a best friend and female confidant. And she found all those with Maya. Once Maya’s biggest critique, Nikki calling Maya “Ate” is a huge leap to completely opening her heart to Maya.
Richard seeing Maya and Nikki (his princesses) sharing a tender moment with Alex’s earrings was equally heartrending and uplifting. Heartrending, because Alex is no longer around to witness her princess on her rite of passage (Luke’s as well)…their prom. And uplifting because eventhough with Alex being gone at least Nikki has someone to share this awesome experience with. Even if he hasn’t verbally confirmed it, I’m pretty sure this is one of the major reason how Maya snuck in to Richard’s heart. She treats those children as if they were her own.
Side note: I love that comment Joma made when Richard went to the dress store. “Back up team”…hahaha! Let’s bring in the reinforcement!!!

Re: Luke…the most tender moment for me is early on when he bought Maya a bag for school. He was the 2nd one that took on to the Maya charm, the first one being Abby of course.
