Ah, yon pala ang purpose ng pepper spray. Sabi ni SC samahan daw niya si Maya magsoli ng bote ng softdrinks. Hindi na raw kaya na niya. Baka daw may mambastos uli sa kanya. Subukan lang nila sabay labas ng pepper spray.
took it slowly, carefully and without pressure. He knows that Maya has a crush on him but never took that as an advantage. He still took the time to know how Maya will feel comfortable with their situation. He saw how easy to make Maya happy, how great to be with her doing
things he never did before like sitting on the stonewall, eating balut. Richards´eyes can´t lie, he can´t ignore it anymore. He can feel Maya´s warm hands holding his heart, taking care of it. It´s all over him, he´s wrapped with all this happiness he can feel being with her. Richard never had a hard time to welcome Maya´s world because Maya made it easy for him.
She let him feel that she´s always there, patiently waiting. Richard don´t need words to express what he really feel for Maya. He showed her
how important she is. “Action speaks louder than words.” That´s Richard and Maya, they don´t need words just to express how they feel for each other.
When Maya fall Richard was just there, the look they have showed more than telling words to each other. Richards look says a lot, he got her and
will take care of her, and never let her go. I have to laugh, though when Maya thought of brushing her teeth!!! And I got more excited when Richard use a mouthspray!!!! A sign of being ready
to welcome the love they want to give to each other?
This episode has a lot of exciting scenes, I feel like i´m having a hard time to breath. Holding a cup of tea while watching it was not really a good
idea!!! i felt like i´m just beside them watching them, listening, getting excited for them. I just love watching them! The excitement will never get over!

Akala ko pa naman nung lumapit si Ser Chief sa mag-gigitara hihiramin niya yung gitara at siya ang tutugtog… naku mas deadz ako kung nangyari yun… hahahaha

Balot tutorials, bbq, soft drinks sa bote at background music. Kiligness to the max!!
Yun demo sa tamang pagkain ng balot nakakatawa, seryoso yung nagtuturo at yung tinuturuan.

I missed my 1am routine of watching this episode coz I had to catch up on a much needed sleep. Woke up at 3 am and still too sleepy to get up and sit in front of a computer so I tried to watch it in bed on my iphone. Unfortunately there was no video so I just put my headphones on and just listened to it (parang drama lang sa radio, lol) Kinilig na ako kagabi kahit walang video and I’m so glad I waited till now to watch it with no one else but myself coz ang lakas ng sigaw ko as in nang gigigil sa sobrang kilig. I don’t know why a simple brushing of her hair and a simple holding of her hand is making me so giddy inside. I’ve watched that scene 3 times now (@ 23:38 mark) and I still scream like crazy na para akong sinasapian ng hindi mo maintindihan! hahaha! waaaaaaah!
Fave scenes:
a. When Richard ate the balot. I had a feeling that he really doesn’t eat balot in real life and napilitan lang siya. Natural yun acting niya.
b. After Richard sprayed his mouth: his facial expression after was so boyish na parang kinilig just thinking na baka maka score siya with Maya.
c. His face after realizing Maya was brushing her teeth….taas kilay pa talaga.
d. The way he laughed when he said “ang sakit din palang sumuntok, namaga yung fist ko” so cutie yung smile and so natural yung acting niya.
e. When he brushed her hair off her face…so gentle and sweet, so mesmerizing kung makatitig. I really thought he would kiss her right then and there.
f. Lastly, when he just slid his hand and enveloped her hand so naturally like his own way of saying…”I’m always here to protect you.” Swabe and cool!
Love how each scene is well thought of and well directed…. so simple yet so important in portraying what the actors really want to convey.
…..Hindi pilit, hindi rushed, perfect timing talaga to draw us viewers into their world.
Can’t wait for my 1am routine.

I can’t believe a teleserye can make me feel so giddy. I was stumping my feet, banging my hand on the table and egging them to kiss. Then I feel so stupid because the kiss didn’t happen. My husband came into the room wondering what I was doing, stayed and watch for a while and had concluded that Richard and Maya will end up in bed after their date. I have to remind him that this is a filipino telemovie, therefore it will be different. I have to remind myself to have patience and wait for the perfect timing for the kiss to happen because it has to be special.
But correct me if I’m wrong mga kapamilya, isn’t that it’s universal that silence means yes? Did Richard get it? Why did he backs out right away when Maya keeps her silence? It’s showed in his face that he’s yearning for her or maybe it’s just the effect of the balut :-)) Well at least he reach for her hand after that tripped over.
What this episode showed me is that the real happiness in life doesn’t have to come from expensive things. Kahit simple lang ang buhay basta ang kasama mo ay ang taong makapag-pasaya sa iyo at higit sa lahat ay mahal mo at mahal ka rin, maging lubos talaga ang kaligayahan mo. This is how Aling Teresita raised her kids, that’s why Daddy Singkit ang suwerte mo talaga kaya don’t ever let her get away.
On another note, let’s focus doon sa mga pangyayari sa San Nicolas. Kute got drunk after Jeff confirmed that it is a real possibility that he will make ligaw with someone else. My take on this is that Kute has real romantic feelings for Jeff, pinipigilan lang talaga niya kasi awkward talaga ‘yong situation nila. Paano kaya i-resolve ng mga writers ang conflct na ‘to? Kita kits tayo bukas!

Anyway, as for Maya & Ser Chief’s date….I guessed it right that Ser Chief won’t be able to continue with his question on Maya being ready to…(have a BF?). I think it’s really too early for questions like that. Kudos to Ser Chief for taking the hint that Maya is not ready to answer his probing.

Just a side note: I was kinda bothered by Maya’s constant giggling. I dunno but it came off as maarte to me. But then again, that might be her way of flirting back. LOL.
Then, there’s Jodi’s husky voice. Whatever happened to her? Is she sick or something? It can be kinda distracting hearing her like that. I noticed that most of the times she’s had hoarse voice were during scenes at open air locations.
Jodi dear, try taking Strepsils or Fisherman’s friend, or bactidol. These usual work to lessen hoarseness. I hope she gets better so she’ll sound normal / sweet again.

Pagkatapos ng How to Eat Balut 101, anong next lesson??
I was hoping na mas napaaga yung pagkadapa ni maya, yung mas malayo pa sa car, para mas matagal ang holding hands.
Mukhang aaraw-arawin na ni ser chief si maya, lunch naman… then what? tuloy nila yung cruise nila, by weekend ‘family’ bonding na with abby…
Nung nagtaping sila ng scenes sa Manila Bay, they worked 24 hours that time. The usual na 20 hours naging 24 hours pa. Kaya siguro hoarse na yung voice ni Jodi with pagod and puyat sa scenes today.
Madalas ngang paos si Jodi. Pagod na siguro dahil sa pagka-hyper ng character niya. Sa eksena kaya talaga paos na siya or sa dubbing lang? May dubbing pa nga ba ‘pag ganun? Hehehe. Not sure about that.

With one simple gesture, Richard was able to express how much Maya means to him. How can someone look so tough look so gentle at the same time when expressing his affection to the woman he loves? Maya has seen his dark side, he wasn’t always the nicest person to her and yet she’s able to see pass his imperfections. And that’s what she held on to. She saw a man who was alone and deserving of a true love. There’s something to be said about when a man gently runs his fingers through her hair. It’s a form of intimacy that has a deep meaning enough to melt every woman’s heart. Richard might not have been straight forward with his words this time, but he surely shows Maya his tenderness, respect and conveying a message of, “I’m here, I got you…” Again, he’s able to transmit all these with one simple gesture. This just reminds me of line from their song, “I’ll never let your world fall apart…”. In the past, a simple skin to skin contact delivers so much energy to their bodies, especially to Maya. But this time, it’s not by accident anymore. When Richard took Maya’s hand, the same hands that cared or cares for his family, I literally saw sparks. These two souls just merged in to one. Taking someone’s hand can mean so much. One simple reason is, it satisfies human’s basic need of touch. In Richard’s case, I can’t help but think that this is his way of saying I love you without words. Holding her clearly states he’s there to protect her, take care of her and accept her in his world or should I say, him wanting to be part of Maya’s world. Which brings me the next thing I want to mention. We all know, that Richard and Maya’s background are so different from one another. I used to ask, how is Maya going to fit in his. But I was wrong. Once again, the writers found a more creative way in presenting this. Richard is the one trying to fit in her world. She is exposing him to the best things life has to offer. For a moment there, he forgot who he is…his world revolved around Maya.
I don’t think I even stopped smiling, not even for one second while watching this episode. I truly felt like I was on a date with them as well. One good thing about Richard is he knows when to back off. He didn’t pressure Maya in answering his question. But does he really need a verbal answer? Her body language says it all. Maya didn’t resist when Richard reached for her hand. Also, her bringing her travel toothbrush and checking her breath can also mean she’s open to the idea of kissing…if it’ll happen. So there you go, I think she’s ready. If were to pick the best romantic scene I’ve ever seen, this would be it. There is really something with the way they looked at eachother while Richard was touching her face. The amount of emotions expressed reached one another’s inner core. Everything around them stopped and no one else existed but themselves. That is when you know you’re staring at your soulmate.
Oo nga eh. Pero may mga shots din naman na walang obstruction of justice at binigyan ng democartic space ang mga adiks. Mabuhay ang demokrasya!

can affect me in every way. I can feel the excitement they share, looking at each other while Richard is driving, the passion they have for each other,
it´s just lovely!!!! It´s really true that once you´re inlove, no words can even explain how it feels. I´m happy for both of them specially for Richard. We witnessed the pain he had and the whole family. That pain was like an arrow pierced in his
heart, reminded from the lost of one special and important person in their lives. It was unbearable to see him and for his three kids too. He
mourned for a long time, and it was not easy for him to let the day pass without watching that great moments of their lives together. There is
nothing left but a deep sorrow on his face. But we always believe in hope, this is also the reason why we love this show. The writers didn´t just
invented, they thought of something real, every situation can happen. Richards difficult years didn´t last long. We saw how Richards´world
transformed and his kids too experienced the change brought by one person named Maya. She too, felt the sadness in the whole mansion
the first time she stepped in, saw and heard the pain in Richards face and voice. Though it was not easy for her to understand him, still, she
did what she can, shared what she learned in life, showed hope to the kids specially to Abby, spread it to the whole member of the family. Maya
was able to put back the life that was lost because of her love to the kids and to Richard. Like what Raffi said, she is sent from heaven above.
She became Richards´ “wings” to stand and start again to fly. Unplanned, she became the reason too of Richards´ unexplainable joy and
happiness. From the teaser, I felt so proud of Richard when he reach back for Maya´s hand as she tried to loose hers from him. Did she felt
awkward for Richard because of Atty. G? Richards´ reaction is expected since he mentioned that night after their date that he had fun being with
her. I tried to make a rerun in my head of the moments they were together. Yes! He had a great time with her. Maya was the only one that able
to make Richard laugh. I would imagine how he loves and so proud to let everybody knows that Maya is the woman whom he decided to share
his love and future with. As alwys, after a heartmelting scenes where I can´t stop thinking of this two characters, i also love to mention that the writers has still the funny way
of disappointing us….like Eman´s “out of timing” appearance! Hahaha! Eman was so embarrased for interrupting the “Magic Kiss” that about
to happen. I´m not blaming you Eman but next time please knock before you open the door! LOL!!! And I love Richards “so gentleman” reaction.
The smile on Richards´ face is more than what we often said “priceless”…. it´s more than that.

At any rate what would SC’s kids think about this brewing romance. Will he tell them or he’ll let them find out. We shall all see. It’s too soon anyway to think about that. Personally? I’m a straight forward person. So, if I guy does things like Ser Chief without officially / verbally telling me what his intent is…I’d be confused.
It’s tough for girls to assume that you guys are an item. Masakit pag sinabihan ka ” I never said I LOVE YOU !” (Sam Milby to Anne Curtis peg ) when the going gets tough or if there’s any conflict in the future.
If I were in Maya’s shoes I’d ask him:
” Ser Chief, you gave me flowers, you pick me up from school, you regularly text or call me, you expect me to tell you if I’m home, you ask if I’ve already had breakfast, you freaking even held my hand, and you attempted to kiss me. Well, I’m glad that my worries yesterday was unfounded. I am amaze though how fast things are going between them just in the first date. Maya is no longer shy to show her true feelings for Richard. Kute’s word of wisdom was really a great help. She was already prepared what will happen pagka-hatid ni Richard sa kanya. I was closely watching Maya’s facial epression doon sa doorway. Without uttering a single word she was actually conveying to Richard that she was longing for a kiss. Kaya lang biglang uma-appear ang dalagang Pilipina. :-)) Pero ang daya ni Ser Chief, di tinuloy ‘yong kiss. Kung ibang lalaki yon, most likely torrid kissing scene ang kalalabasan dahil sa pansamantalang pagka-udlot.
Bakit kaya the writers choose that Richard should go away without the most awaited kiss. For me it doesn’t make sense, kasi medyo matagal na rin nilang binibuild-up itong story line for this kiss to happen. Since the Valentine episode, then lately doon sa card games nila where Richard traced Maya’s lips just a little below her lower lip which for me was actually him saying that I like to kiss these lips very much. Plus , yesterday’s episode, when he wiped off the food smear in Maya’s mouth, which prompted Maya na mag-toothbrush. The writers showed us that Maya’s ready and Daddy Singkit is willing so why put it off again? May ibig kayang ipahiwating ang mga writers sa atin?
In tomorrow’s teaser, they brought back Atty Gie. Hopefully, this is just to strengthen Richard’s resolve to be with Maya and not be a spoiler which will prompt Maya to go back to her shell again. And Dear writers, I still want to stay in the Kilig mode for a little bit longer. So, please don’t introduce any spoilers yet!!!! Hayaan nyo munang langgamin sila sa ka-sweetan :-))
Sa lunch tomorrow, will there be a confirmation na sila na nga ba as BF/GF? The real test to Richard’s resolve will be his family. He will bring his family out for dinner to celebrate, will he invite Maya to go with them? If ever, may announcement kaya sila for the kids. I can’t wait for tomorrow’s episode.

Alam mo naman, he is being very careful although he knows Maya is open to it na kasi nag brush her teeth na nga doon sa sea wall pa. Pero dapat sa kotse na lang siya nagattempt ng kiss e. Noong bumaba siya to open the door of Maya, kinikilig si Maya pero pinigilan lang niya. My heart used to break in million pieces each time they show Richard watching his wedding video. It was a reminder of how happy he was being with Alex. He used to look at their old photos just to have a glimpse of his wife. On the outside, he looked composed, strong, indestructible, but the truth was, he was crying inside. Part of him died too, when Alex died. And now, we are seeing this man fall in love all over again. It conveys that message of hope. No matter how much your heart gets broken, someone will come along and take time to pick up the pieces so that it can be whole again. He is right. When he decides to do something, he always makes sure that’s what he wants. There’s no turning back….he is two feet in!
Maya and Richard’s hearts are singing. Music does represent joy for these two. Who would’ve thought that the person who used to get on his nerves, he couldn’t even stand the sound of her voice back then, would be the same person behind his smile. He’s smiling day to night and on to the next day. When everything feels right, amazing things will just happen. Regardless of Maya being a prude, she’s just letting everything flow. She’s not resisting Richard holding her hand, and she didn’t even pull back when he tried to kiss her. This speaks how much she trusts him. When Richard told her that even back then, he feels happy everytime he’s with her, is his way of letting Maya in his head. At least now she knows, it wasn’t a one way street…she wasn’t alone. Even the music plays his part of the song now. It represent reciprocity.
Everything does happen for reason. Had Maya not quit being a nanny, I don’t think Richard would make any move to be with her. He became complacent. I remember feeling really sad when she left, because I took it as, it wasn’t time yet. There were things still left unsaid. But now, I understand. That phase had to end so that they start something more beautiful.
He is definitely not letting her go. I mentioned before that Richard would mark his territory, but not claim it. He is claiming it loud and clear. This takes me to what is about to happen next. I don’t want to say too much because I want to save it for tomorrow. When Richard said, he’s a lucky man, he meant it. . Typically, you would say Maya is the lucky one because of who Richard is. Everywhere he goes, people know him and pay respect to him. But for him, he couldn’t have been any prouder to have Maya as his woman. And he wants everyone around him to see that. Instead of her showing him off, he wants to show her off. Women chasing or desiring him is not news to Maya. Every woman in her position will feel insecure, it’s Richard’s job to re assure her there’s no competition and make her feel she’s the one. Looks like he will surely do that. Couple of weeks ago, I played this scenario in my head. What would Richard do, if and when they accidentally run into one of the women from the past (Stephanie or Gie)? I just hope this will not make her pull back. She needs to understand the power she has over this man. Richard will not let go of the person who is responsible for awakening his spirit to have courage to love again.

I give credit to the writers for finally touching on the subject that us viewers have been wondering about.
I have a feeling it’s gonna be Maya who would be making the ultimate sacrifice of letting go. She seemed to be the only one who is really affected by it. I feel for Maya. Just thinking about it makes me so nega na nawala na yung positive vibes ko. So there, better to just not talk about it, right?

Liza described it. Richard is also aware of that, but never he took advantage of it. He tried to go out and have a few dates but it was not something
that moved him. He didn´t find the woman that he want to be with by going out, instead, he realized that he don´t need to go far. He let the feeling
grow, loved every minute of it, and gave his whole heart when he felt sure that Maya is the one he´s looking for. He laid his eyes only for her, was
never bothered from the women around him. There´s no question for us how much he loves Maya, and he don´t have a problem showing his
feeling for her. Proof is that when Maya pulled back her hand as Richard hold hers, Richards face has a question but didn´t stop him to reach
hers back. I can understand Maya´s reaction, surely she doubt it if it´s the right time. But she has to know how he felt about it, and
Richard did, showed her by holding her back, worry for her, and had a great moment with her.
I asked myself, why Kute has to brought up that question? Right after that, i felt the pain from Maya´s face. Worries, an endless question about the reality.
Reality that sometimes forgotten because of the happiness that two person found from each other. Maya´s love to Richard is unconditional.
From the start she didn´t expect any in return. She never felt being important, inspite of what she contributed to Lim Family. She shared them
what she learned in life. Showed understanding and love for each other. She never thought of heself, she just gave what she has. She was
accepted and became the key of all the changes that happened in Lim Family. There´s nothing she´ll do but to keep the happiness in that mansion.
She´s the right and perfect person for Richard, she´s his strength. But the reality still exist, Richard has a children they both have to consider.
I want to keep positive about it, i want to believe that Richards´children has an understanding about their situation. If I can still remember, Luke told his father that he deserves to have life. A sign of acceptance. I also have to remind myself about Abby, She found comfort from Maya, she felt the love
from her that she miss since her Mom died. Maya was not only a Nanny for her, Maya filled up that hole and became a good friend of Abby. Nikki witnessed Maya´s kindness, she saw how Maya supported her in every situation, somehow, she also found that comfort from her. But then,
the memory of their mother is something they treasured, and this is where I felt and thought the difficulties that might happen. Kute´s statement made me thought of my own situation. I had some moments where I tried to explain things to my kids, Since I believe that they have the right to know. But then
afraid to see the pain in their eyes. the same thing I thought about Richard and Maya. The very least thing they both don´t want to happen is to see Luke, Nikki and Abby hurt by their (Richard and Maya) happiness. I hate to think that the love they found from each other has to end…. I hate the feeling of letting go….. Richard found the right person, but is it the right time for them?
I mentioned yesterday, I never thought that this show will affect me in every way. I also mentioned, that the writers of this show has their positive way of
disappointing us (Eman´s out of timing appearance before the “magic kiss” happened 🙂 ). but that´s how it supposed to be, right writers? As I have said, I want to keep it positive. I only have to believe in it….just like what I used to do.
The brightside:
1. I won’t be aligaga because walang khaki pants.
2. I won’t be sleepless in Seattle waiting for the teaser.
3. I can always go back to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday’s epi to make me happy.

It’s should be Ser Chief ang maunang magsabi sa mga kids nya about dating Maya. I-meeting nya mga anak niya magusap sila, bago pa malaman sa iba ng mga anak nya, o bago pa sila mahuling magka date, magka holding hands, for sure naman the kids will like Maya to be their second mum. Probably, sa una baka ma speechless ang mga kiddos but matatalino naman mga anak ni Ser Chief sigurado they will accept it especially if they see na happy ang daddy nila. They know too na nag-iisa lang si Maya. Kaya lucky na daddy nila to have Maya.And for Maya normal yung naramdaman nya sa concern ni Kute, normal talaga na mapa-isip ka kasi aminin iba rin talaga ang sitwasyon pag may mga anak na involve.
For sure, magkakaroon ng mga trials sa pag-iibigan ni Maya & SerChief lahat talaga may pagsubok. Pero kapit bisig naman sila kaya malalagpasan nila mga pagsubok yan.
So full of twist and turns itong show na ito. Hindi mapredict Kung among susunod na mangyayari, the writers are so brilliant in keeping the viewers, myself included glued and anticipating (anxiously at that) for the next kabanata.

I think it’s about time the serye focuses on another conflict. Although, gustong-gusto ko na everyday kilig na lang, mas makakatotohanan naman kapag may mga panira moments din. If they get through this hurdle of explaining to the Lim kids about their “IBA na status” I’m sure mas magiging sweeter ang next episodes….I’m having a strong feeling na susuportahan pa ng Lim kids ang Daddy nila sa panliligaw.
Si Maya lang naman ang natetense eh. Si Ser Chief parang cool na cool kahit makita ni Abby na maharot siya with Maya sa mall.
Di kaya na-brief na ni Ser Chief ang mga Lim kids tungkol sa kanila ni Maya during sa PUS victory dinner ni Luke?
I wondered the same thing from that blindfold display with lingering handholding in front of Abby. Although, Abby isn’t really the challenge, Nikki is. I’m hoping that Nikki’s line, “How was your date?” is a clue. Di ba she said to Joey’s mom how odd it would be if her dad dated Maya? Writers are playing the Nikki/SC-Maya date angle I think. I don’t see the challenge to last too long. I’m sure we’ll have clarification and back to kilig episodes by mid-week.
I would really like this to happen, for the Lim kids to really put into practice the KAPIT BISIG motto with regards to wooing Maya for their dad coz I see some conflicts lined up already particularly with SC’s admirer’s or should I say gold diggers. Sana they would help SC in his fight for Maya.
Now I see why they needed to have those Maya and Nikki moments. Mas madali na ngayon ang transition if ever. Every scene has a purpose talaga sa BCWMH. Galing.

I have to say, I like this roller coaster ride, the ups and downs (of course I enjoy the ups more, who doesn’t?), the twists and turns, the bitins, the reviews, including the fillers. How anyone can fit in less than thirty minutes, so many happenings and emotions from so many characters is beyond me but I really am in this for the ride and I am enjoying it, not just in part but the whole gamut. So thank you and keep it coming, BCWMH TEAM!
I am somewhat excited to see Abby and Maya again and even with Daddy Pogi. I sort of missed the three of them together…like playing in the park (Dr Quack Quack) lol Haynaku, I can’t wait for a teaser because I want to see more of what will happen next week.

I suspect that the family dinner will be Richard’s opportunity to test how his kids would feel about him dating again. If he brings up Maya, all the better. Though probably the situation with Luke might take precedence. Heh, Richard might just announce the plan for the family to go out of town to celebrate Luke’s graduation – and didn’t Maya promise Abby she would go with them on their next vacation?
BTW, did Maya mention what Abby’s gift would be? She said over their lunch that she had an idea, but I don’t think she said?
It’s only natural for Maya to feel a little insecure around the girls that look at Richard – she is still, after all, a girl from the province, none of the big city flash of the others (as if it matters to Richard). Thing is, Richard’s going to have to make it as obvious to Maya as it is to him that they are meant to be together. You gotta work it, Sir Chief, or all of us University alumni will die of frustration!
Nikki’s “How was your date?” was delivered in all innocence – though as evidenced from her dialogues with Luke, she sees more than people give her credit for. *g* I wouldn’t be surprised if the writers gave her a “But Dad, it’s been so obvious for AGES naman that you like Maya a lot…!”
As for Kute and Jeff…ohoho, the scenes are as priceless as anyone could hope for. My maids were in hysterics with Cho’s remedy for a hangover, wondering if those were real guava leaves (parang hindi daw)…and Jeff being all “bossy” with Kute, uyyyyyy. Katatapos ko lang panuorin. Another phase of their relationship, and I’m excited how they will deal with it. One of the many challenges pa lang toh that SC & Maya will have to undergo;
— telling the kids that they’re dating. They have to face this soon kesa sa iba pa malaman Ng mga kids.
— Dealing with Maya’s insecurities. Isa lang solution dyan eh, and that is to really define na ni Ser Chief kung ano ba talaga sila. Malabo Yong “iba tayo eh”. Before you kiss the girl, hold hands with her, naklaro dapat yan sa isang dalagang Pilipina. Hahaha.
Linawin mo na Ser Chief. Ano ba kayo ni Maya? Super Friends with benefits? Exclusive ba kayo? Pwede bang tumanggap ng admirer si Maya (if there’s one)?

I like this episode. It’s giving us hints on the potential plot or storyline to come. Some notes:
–Hindi sinagot ni Maya yong tanong ni Ser Chief, “What do you want for lunch?” Wala lang….Hahaha… Waiting kase ako dun sa sagot ni Maya. Ngek!
–May beso beso si Atty Gie, eh si Hannah, wala… Hahaha.
–Ang insecurities ni Maya, sumisilip during that lunch scene. How to be confident nga naman noh kung di pa naman official na “kayo na”.
–Hannah is the name, and she’s interested. Hmmmm… I don’t think naman that SC is interested with her pero eto ang multo that will make Maya’s insecurities come out.
–Taken na si Atty Gie. Meron na syang Stephen and going to US na, so I guessed bye bye na rin sa character nya? Thanks Atty. Gie for adding spice to BCWMH.
–Cute ng tandem ni Kuteff. Ituloy lang. Ok chemistry nila.
–Something to look forward in the future episodes: birthday ni Luke, and out of town nila. Exciting toh.
— Kute’s words of wisdom to Maya. Just when you’re at the peak of happiness, then you hear this…. Wooops! Ouch! Reality bites. That’s Kute – galing ng advise.
–Dinner with kids to celebrate Luke’s passing the entrance exam. Di kasama si Maya. Awww! Well, ganyan talaga if hindi pa officially “sila”.
–Madami pa palang tatrabahuin si Ser Chief, i.e. firstly, make it official with Maya na “sila na”, and second, inform the kids about it.
–Noticed that when Ser Chief was texting Maya, and the kids were there, parang slightly patago text nya.. Hahaha…Ser Chief, tell the kids na! Now na! Lol…
Maya’s feelings lang ang peg for today’s episode… at the peak of heat ang kilig overload and excitement, biglang nabuhusan ng nagyeyelong tubig… but Kute is right, the LIm kids should know about the developments between their dad and their ate Maya.
I think SC needs to really inform his kids as a proof na rin that he’s serious with his intention for Maya… on the other hand, Maya needs to give credits on SC’s efforts and stop or kahit bawasan man lang ang insecurities nIya,,, which I think na ang best cure is for SC to clarify kung ano ba talaga ang status nila, kasi at least Maya will have an assurance of where her place is, o mag-a-assume na lang ba sIya kung saan ba talaga pwesto nya sa buhay ng isang Richard Lim.
Kahit may konting conflict for next week, I like how SC covered Maya’s eyes dun sa mall at sa initial reaction ni Maya, looking up at SC, while holding both of his hands… kaya lang she suddenly realize that Abby is there.
The best thing for these two to do ay isang masinsinan at maliwanag na pag-uusap. Anyway, I must say, the Maya- Ser Chief sequences were mostly downers ( less screen time too ) except for the “Ikaw lang” part.
I do believe that Richard will talk to his kids very soon, he is just taking it easy. Ika nga slowly but surely he will tell his kids about courting, loving and dating you. Luke, Niki and Abby will be very happy to have you…Just believe and trust Ser Cheif! Maya, relax ka lang sagot ka ni Cheif!

Hmmm actually exciting naman pala mangyayari, I am looking forward to see how SC will tell the kids.
I don’t think Nikki will be that *****y about it. Somehow I felt relieved when Nikki said “Hi” to Maya over the phone.
I perfectly understand Maya’s hesitation to hold hands with Ser Chief in front of who she thinks as “better” women than her. Ser Chief really needs to straighten things out or else Maya will go missing again.
I just had this to say to “Hannah” lady because of her grammar, Sister, when you use “better” you don’t add “more” anymore. It’s like saying “She’s more prettier than her” which is, grammatically incorrect. Pasensya na, I just had to find a fault in her. Affected much by her dirty looks kay Ser Chief.
The saving grace of this episode was KUTEFF. I think I’m seriously shipping these two! I felt more kilig with their interaction today than the main leads. Oh well, as they say, you can’t have everything all the time.
Now, about the preview, I agree with most of you. Nikki was probably just asking about the buying of gifts with Abby’s thing. I’m sure, Baby Abby will be the angel again and save Maya from the awkward moment.
But I do hope Maya will stay a little longer at the mansion so they have time to talk about what they really are — is Ser Chief her BF / suitor or just a “playmate”.
This is what I don’t like about MUs….it’s confusing and emotionally tiring. I think SC tried to tell Maya how he feels during their date, but Maya just wasn’t ready. Halos ma choke pa nga nung nag ask siya if she’s ready.
I think magiging challenging kina Ser Chief at Maya ang episodes next week.
Ser chief kasi, you have to clear things out between sa inyo ni Maya. Action speaks louder than words nga, but mas maganda pa rin yung napag-uusapan nyo kung ano status niyo. Hindi na pwede yong “IBA TAYO” . Lumelevel-up na eh. As per Maya, tama lang na maging confused ka. Eye-opener din siguro yung phone convo nila ni Kute. Iba talaga mag-advice! Although nag-eenjoy sila sa date at holding hands, still, concern pa rin yung kids.
Well, let’s see next week. Sana maging “official” na sila. Gulong to the max talaga tayong mga adiks if ever. Kapit bisig!
I think the challenges stem from the fact that they come from extreme opposite backgrounds. Maya still has a lot of growing to do despite the progress she’s already achieved. SC is aware of it and is very careful. Even if SC asks her officially, Maya’s issues will get in the way. Mas lalong magiging complicated kasi she’s still working thru her personal issues. SC is doing a good job reassuring her with actions. Kita mo deadma lahat ng attention that girls give. Si Maya lang daw ang gusto niyang guluhin. That’s more reassuring to me than verbalizing it.
No worries, I’m sure the story will unfold appropriately. I’m excited for it!!
Feeling ko lang magkakaroon ng conflict yong Maya-SC relationship against the kids- lalo na yong mga matatanda (Nikki and Luke). But for sure matatanggap rin nila si Maya..
Back then, when Richard entertained the thought of “dating”, Maya reminded him that he should consider how his children would feel about it. While she was still in state of being “sprung”, Kute snapped her back to the real world. The reality is, Richard comes with 3 other souls: Luke, Nikki and Abby. And they need to be added in the equation. Once Maya realized this, fear, confusion, worries and lots of “what ifs” overpowered her. These children are as important to her as Richard. Being with someone with a child/children is not easy. It’s not just about you and the person you’re with. I’ve made a fair amount of mistakes when it comes to this matter. My daughter should and will always come first…no matter what. I become really connected with the show because it addresses the struggles of a single parent. Knowing Richard and Maya, they are both responsible people who will not compromise the children’s happiness. It’s true that we’ve seen Maya being accepted with open arm by the Lim kids. She is truly already part of the family…but as a nanny and now a friend. But the recent changes in Richard and Maya’s dynamic can make a huge difference. These kids, just like Richard, had finally moved on from grieving. When they lost their mom, they felt like they lost their dad as well when Richard shut them out. Now that they finally got their dad back adding Maya in the equation, not as a nanny, may cause the kids to take step backwards. Probably not Abby, cause Maya is the closest thing she’s got to a mother. Both Richard and Maya have to ensure that they’re not trying to replace Alex nor erase their memories of her. Rather adding someone who would love and care for them just as much. But if that doesn’t work, Maya will never have the heart to put Richard in a position where he would have to choose between her and his children.
This show always has its way of showing the audience that things do work out the way it supposed to. But each one of us can feel Maya’s fear and woes. She had waited for so long to finally be with her Mahal na Hari and Richard to finally tearing down his wall to be able to love again to be with his Princesa, and the thought of one of them walking away to make that ultimate sacrifice just made me close my eyes and the next thing I knew, without knowing it, I was crying. I put myself in Richard’s position and would probably do the same thing. For the sake of my daughter my happiness would just have to come second. For these two, maybe that saying, “love isn’t always enough” is true…It may just have to wait and let go….for now…
Just watched the episode. Balik muna ulit tyo sa reality. Today pinakita lang un world outside the two of them. That Hannah, di naman matatypean ni SC yun. Duh. Ang arti kaya nya.

Some random thoughts after back-reading:
This summer is going to be exciting for the Lim and de la Rosa families. With three graduations and the de la Rosa family to come visiting – do you think Richard’s parents will make it in time for Luke’s graduation? I mean Donya Esmeralda said they were coming over in the summer. (BTW, what is the name of Richard’s daddy? I have totally forgot, my bad!)
Now, seeing that Luke’s grad and Maya’s grad will come close together (writers, please do not make them at the same time or there will be many howls of strong emotion, I promise you), what are the chances that the two families will be meeting? It would be epic.
Bearing in mind that the de la Rosa family, at least, will be in Manila – I should hope Richard and Maya clear the air regarding their relationship before then. It should be as plain as Kute’s tattoos what Richard’s intentions and feelings are, and what Maya means to him. That way, both of them will be prepared when the inevitable questions are asked by Mamang, Nanay Tere (who already likes Richard a lot), and Kute.
It’s possible that by the time Richard’s parents arrive, our lovebirds will be “official” at last. And Maya’s presence at the family vacation could parallel that of Jeff introducing Kute to his family, in that Richard could freely present her as his girlfriend. I’m sure Donya Esmeralda will approve and probably air in private her hopes for a grand wedding to Richard’s dad (who, needless to say, will also approve mightily).
Gads. The suspense – and this is just for making it official. Next up will be the proposal of marriage, and once again, there will be a shortage of breathable air in the city.
Come to think of it, because of BCWMH, some things will never be the same:

Oh, on CNN, Piers Morgan had Anthony Bourdain on air, and offered him balut. I was watching Bourdain open the egg, and both Mama and I said, “AAAAAH! He spilled the soup! Sayang!” He should have watched Maya’s tutorial on the proper way to eat balut…nagbisita naman dito sa Pinas, you would think he’d learned the technique.

My two cents about the Atty G kiss…
The kiss on the cheek was not really a big deal for both of SC and Atty G. It’s a customary thing since they know each other not only professionally but dated as well. So, I’m not surprised at all, its just a simple greeting. Even Maya wasnt bothered by it because alam nya na city people do that all the time.
It is way different in Maya’s case because she…we all know are not used to these things and a simple kiss on her own cheek will mean something to her. Especially that its her first kiss. Given time ganon na rin mangyayari sa kanya.

Pareho tayong take sa teaser sis. feeling ko nga si SC na ang nagmamakaawa (take note of SC’s face when he said gusto niyang makaratig dun) kay Maya na maging sila na, considering na Maya has been evasive everytime SC opens the topic of a relationship between them. As for telling the kids, oo nga naman, hindi pa nga naestablish ang relationship nila and nastabilize dagdagan pa nila ng pampagulo. I agree that BOTH of them have to be secure first in their relationship before considering the kids. I don’t think SC is procrastinating in establishing the “tayo na”, I think it’s more like Maya being the one who is hedging. I am confused as to Maya’s state of mind coz she doesn’t seem to want to talk about SC’s intentions face to face despite the fact that she is so kilig naman with SC’s attention and has so many questions in her head.

Regarding sa episodes next week, mukhang lilitaw talaga ang maturity ni SC sa relationship. Dapat lang naman kc he has the experience. May nagsabi na nga dito na oragnized ang thoughts ni SC. I-guide nya lang si Maya para hindi masyado mag overthink ng ma-enjoy ang mga happenings sa life nya. But of course guard your heart Maya! Conquer mo yung fears mo sa relationships with the help of SC.
On SC side naman, wag maging kampante. Bet ko yung pag nagsimula na un busy schedule Maya ay magwoworry sya kung sino nakakasama at nakaka fill up ng time ni Maya while she’s away.
