Nasa Subic na sila for their beach outing. Ang Lim kids excited lumabas agad ng room na di pa inayos mga gamit. Nakita ni Maya na nag-aayos ng gamit nila si SC, pumasok sa room.
SC & Maya convo sa hotel room
Maya: Ser Chief bakit ka nagpalit?
SC: I feel more comfortable on this.
Maya: Mas cute ka diyan sa suot mo (favorite niya kasi white shirt, fashion expert?) Ako na diyan…hmm di mo ko tutulungan?
SC: Sabi mo ikaw na.
Maya: Ang daya, wala ka talagang balak na tulungan ako?
SC: No.
Maya: Ahh ang sweet mo talaga.
Nakigamit ng rest room si Nikki sa room nina Maya. She asked Maya about his dad’s gf.
Nikki: You and dad have gotten very close. Do you by any chance know who his gf is? –
Q and A portion ni Nikki.
Nikki just asked Maya if she knows who her dad’s girlfriend is. Maya: lunok.
Nikki is asking if kilala ni Maya yun GF ni SC haha nanigas na naman! Ang laki ng lunok laway ni Maya.
Parang ako ang mas naiinitan sa suot ni SC. Buti pa si Joma pang beach ang suot.

A heartfelt episode. My heart had been pinched/moved not once, not twice but a hundred fold. When I was contemplating yesterday’s episode but could not muster to put all the words in written form, I thought I would never be able to share them but let me try to marry both episodes here.
The song “Looking through the eyes of love” comes to mind as two distinct perspectives emerged, that from the grown up’s point of view and from the eyes of a child. Maya and Kute, both confronted in a difficult dilemma of hurting their loved ones with their decisions – Maya with the guilt of hiding the truth about the relationship from the kids and Kute’s plan of going back to work as a sea crew so she could give Cho a better future. On the other hand, we have that from the perspective (eyes) of a child, in this case, Nikki and Cho; Nikki with the knowledge of her Dad’s new GF and her seemingly mysterious identity as well as her growing fondness of Niccolo; and Cho’s feeling on the thought of separation from his Nanay so she could work as sea crew in order for Cho to have that better future.
I felt for Nikki. She’s been longing for her Dad’s love and the thought of her Dad’s new GF, she felt she was losing her Dad all over again. She felt that longing, yearning for love and attention, she felt all alone… She’s crying out loud… she’s reaching out for someone, anyone! As she’s going thru a phase in her young teenage life that she herself couldn’t understand (where Niccolo was concerned and that emerging dynamics of her family), she simply couldn’t not comprehend what’s going on with her and her surroundings. She wanted so badly to be in control but everything seemed against her odds… she had no one to turn to… her young mind’s telling her that her Dad has a new GF, her Kuya Luke has Niccolo and Abby always have Ate Maya by her side, always there for her whenever she needs her Ate Maya. And she had no one… She’s trying to reach out to her Ate Maya sending her signals for help in the two instances that she freely expressed her thoughts of her Dad’s new GF and her curiosity of the GF’s identity… she’s so desperate that quietly she’s reaching out hoping that her Ate Maya could see, understand her concerns and help her thru as she did before. Little hints she’s sending- her fondness wearing the bracelet Ate Maya gave her… her attempt to openly talk and giving a sweet peck on the cheek as she greeted her Happy Birthday and her meaningful curious look as her Ate Maya greeted her the next day.
Signals that Maya was unable to sense and recognize as she herself was caught up with all the mixed emotions and uncertainty on how the kids would react to her being SC’s GF and her not being truthful weighing heavily in her heart which dampened her mood the whole time. Too insecure and unable to reach out to SC, she retracted and kept to herself, sought the reassurance from Kute and tried to be invisible to everybody. It pained her so much that she simply couldn’t express her burning love for SC as they had to restrain themselves and be more discrete with their true feelings in front of everybody. SC too, unable to control the situation couldn’t reach out to comfort Maya. He tried his best as he sent her meaningful glances and tried his hardest to express his feelings as he lovingly looked at Maya comforting her from afar… When they had the chance to sit down after a seemingly long day, SC’s sweet loving words – “I was thinking of you” captured those pent up emotions he had been holding back the whole time… And came the heart-to-heart talk – a verse from the song (Looking Thru the Eyes of Love) reverberated in my head – “And now I do believe, that even in a storm, we’ll find some light; knowin’ you’re beside me, I’m alright.” This verse captured the message and the emotions both of them have for each other, calming them both knowing that together, they can handle the situation and that they will see through their struggle and win over the approval of the kids.
On the flip side, the father-son talk moved me to tears and couldn’t contain myself as Papa Pards explained to Cho and assured him endlessly, that they may be physically away but they could still have that special father-son bond thanks to modern technology. I could only imagine how Cho must be feeling, the pain building up inside him knowing that once again he will not be seeing his Papa Pards for a long period of time when he’s just started to build a relationship with him due to the fact that his Nanay kept the truth about his father for 8 long years. Kute’s reaction as she looked on Jeff consoling Cho, had also been too much for her that she had to leave and make herself busy in the kitchen in order to compose herself. Her conversation with Jeff was so full of emotions despite injecting some humor into the conversation.
A lot can be said of the other characters, as their presence is as meaningful as the lead characters but I’ll try to highlight later on.

OUR LOVERS’ PDA
Public Display of Affection is the visible expression of the positive unconditional regard that two people involved in a relationship employ to show people around them how they feel for each other. There are varying degrees of showing shared emotions between two people. It ranges from gentle, almost imperceptible stolen glances to the other side of the spectrum, down-right passionate lip-locking encounters. With regards to Sir Chief and Maya, they have consciously been inconspicuous in their display of their love for each other in public. Tempered they may be in showing their affection for one another, this in no way should be construed that they love each other in a lackluster kind of way. Far from it, their love for each other, beneath that façade of a cool and seemingly disengaged analytical personality, in the person of Sir Chief, and that of a seemingly naïve, definitely inexperienced and unsophisticated virgin, in the person of Maya, are two people in total control of themselves and their feelings. In all actuality, they are two passionate beings more than ready to show their love for each other and ready to proudly shout to the world that what they feel for each other is a love that can be compared to a raging freight train coming at full speed ready plow through anyone and anything that is going to come in their way, if they are given the appropriate place and time to do so.
Mindful that she is a virgin and that he is her first love, Sir Chief chooses to be sensitive to Maya’s feelings. From previous episodes when Rafi has goaded him to make his move, Sir Chief wisely takes his cues from Maya making sure that he does not scare her away. He likens her to a bird just going about its business but will quickly fly away in the slightest detection of a threatening movement.
Although previously counseled by his good friend, Atty. Ryan Molino, to let Maya know that he is very interested in her, Sir Chief chooses to keep his attraction for her in check. Instead of sending her a bouquet of flowers, he opts to send her a beautifully wrapped package of ingredients to a comfort food, which he knows she misses from home. This shows to the world that he will patiently guide her through the process of courtship, which is new to her, and be chivalrous in his ways of wooing her.
On the other hand, glimpses of his deep affection for her when left unchecked can be likened to an angry bear rudely awakened from its winter hibernation. When Sir James openly flirted with Maya at the conference, which all three of them attended, Sir Chief springs into action to protect Maya from what he perceives as a threat to his beloved. This act strongly demonstrates how far along his secret attraction for her has grown. Unbeknownst to him, he has developed deep romantic feelings for her.
Even though openly displaying emotions is quite foreign to him, Sir Chief risks looking like a fool in his pursuit of Maya. He serenades her in San Nicolas in full view of her family and the entire neighborhood. He stalks her in her maiden flight as an FA to surprise her and to show how much he cares for her. Prior to that, he rides the MRT, a public transportation which he probably has never ridden before, just to help deliver the most important person to her on her graduation day. He eats balut for the first time at the boardwalk. He, a CEO, willingly humbles himself and acts as her personal chauffeur to and from work. He finds himself enjoying her company in a carinderia. All out-of-character moves, all of them regarded beyond what is expected of a person of his stature in life, but he willingly does to display his affection for Maya publicly.
Richard’s love for Maya is on display, all the time, for the world to see. His chosen way to express his PDA is quiet, gentle, pure, beautiful, innocent, charming, cute, safe and tender. His chosen way to show how much he loves Maya is in the language she can understand. It is the love language of one who has never experienced such feelings before. Knowing full well that he is her first, he allows her to take the lead in their PDAs. He wants her to savor the experience of being in love for the first time. Even in letting the family know what the real score is between them, since she is not ready, he respects her decision to postpone the announcement. He quietly, but confidently, stands aside. He guides. He yields. He waits. What’s the rush! After all, he is committed to her for life!

Naka relate ako kay Cho when he was begging Kute and Jeff not to leave, kahit hindi na siya mag aral sa private school basta kumpleto lang sila. I remember my daughter begging me to stay before I left for Saudi in 2001. She told me that she didn’t care if she had a car or not to bring her to school as long as she has a mom. It’s heartbreaking and I still cry when I remember that.
Kailangan na ba ni Jeff mawala sa serye na to? He will surely be missed…

It is very sad that Jeff’s character will disappear soon. His role is an inspiration to couple’s who are in the same situation. We will miss you Jeff, you made us laugh each time you have kilig moments with Kute.
Maya is also full of emotions on her birthday party. She cannot express how happy she was to celebrate this most important day with the people she loved the most. She knows that the kids deserve to know the truth. Now that Nikki saw her and Sir Chief talking made her think that Maya could be her dad’s girlfriend. Luke shouldn’t get mad at Nikki just because his bestfriend Nicolo is in trouble with Aira. Nikki is tough but she always apologized when she does something wrong.

It looks like the suspense is really building up around their letting the kids know of their relationship. Talagang ang very mature ang sentiment ni Maya about keeping the truth from the kids…. So full of considerations para sa mga bata at also being truthful. Jodi is such a great actress kasi parang nakaka emphatize talaga ako sa emotion ni Maya.
Love the part na nag holding hands sila sa beach tapos Maya held SC’s hand with both her hands…great romantic scene.

Our story continues today at the beach. The cliffhanger (I don’t know if you could call it that) yesterday was Luke seemingly catching Maya at the moment she was playfully taking a picture of Richard sleeping under the yellow eared-raccoon umbrella. It turns out, Luke wanted to catch a snap shot of his Dad in the same way as Maya was doing…Whew!!! At lunch, the waiters came to sing Maya a Happy Birthday with a beautiful pink cake. She blew the candle and they took pictures stressing that Nikki gave Maya a sweet squeeze on her shoulder and sweetly greeted her a Happy Birthday. (Complete with the chime bell background music signifying importance of the moment.)
Back at the beach, we know that Luke and Joma tried to light up the bonfire without success. Richard saves the day and lights up the fire in literally 3 seconds (medyo unbelievable but hey anything Richard sells I am buying) impressing everyone and made Luke shout “Dad, Pwede ka nang mag-asawa ulit”. There is a quiet reaction from Maya and Nikki was just being observant.
****INTERRUPTION OF REGULAR PROGRAMMING****Fashion Patrol: I have to say that Richard’s “SHEER” yellow v-neck tee is not only appropriate beach attire but also HECKA HECKA HECKA HECKA gorgeous on him AYIIIIIIIIIIIIIII ! (insert song here with lyrics: Here you come again, Looking better than a body has a right to, and shakin’ me up so, that all I really know, is Here you come again…and here I go 😀 ) he he And Maya’s orange top…she is absolutely stunning…just sayin’***
Maya asked to excuse herself from the group. Manang Fe, older than dirt, picks up on Maya’s uneasiness. She looks at Richard while he stares at Maya as she walked away. She went back to the hotel room to call Kute. Maya tells her she is worried that the kids are going to take her relationship with Richard negatively. Kute tells her she is worried that Cho will take her news negatively as well. Although Kute didn’t give Maya a definitive advise to the situation, she encouraged her to work things out with Richard. Maya told Kute she could attempt to talk to Cho. In the end, it is obvious that the sisters truly understand each other and are both willing to help one another.
Later that evening, Maya wasn’t able to sleep because Manang Fe snored…errr I meant because she is worried. She decided to walk outside and found Richard (star gazing again huh Ser Chief????) out on the beachfront. She sits down and talks to Richard about what happened earlier when Nikki asked her if she knew who his girlfriend is. She realizes that it may be time to tell the kids. Maya tells him, she feels guilty. She doesn’t want to do to the kids what she did to her Mom before. She does not like to hide anything to anyone she cared about. Richard consoles her and tells her that they are going to tell the kids very soon.

Couldn’t really waaaaah yesterday on my review coz there was really no waaaah moment for me but more like a …Whoa!… upon seeing Ser Chief with his China man pants. ” I was thinking of you! ” The way he said it was so “melt my heart ” sweet ….soo worthy of my waaaaaah today.
It was so unexpected coming from him knowing that today is a Tuesday and this kilig moment wasn’t really on the teaser yesterday.
And, take note, he was facing Maya when he delivered that line, with their knees barely touching. Kayo talaga BCWMH staff ha…bini build up na naman ninyo yung emotions ko uli ha……working pa naman ako again this Friday . Waaaaaaaaaaaaaah! My heart did a triple axel. Feel ko, mas kilig talaga ang HH moments nila. And lumelevel up na sila ha! Ikaw talaga Ser Chief, huwag mo din akong pakiligin. I was thinking of you too, Ser Chief! …. All weekend long!…..kasi ba naman I wanted to join in on the fun here on TFC but couldn’t becoz of work. Ano ba to?…..nakakakaturn off ka kaya kahapon with your Binondo boy look, now here you are again enticing me with your …”I was thinking of you” churvalu? Haaaaaaay!. Please Ser Chief, stop playing with my emotions!

The scene with Cho and Jeff was my cry me a river moment. I grew up without a father and that scene was really hard for me. I mean just buckets of tears just flowed like a river. I could just imagine how our OFW’s must be going thru just being away from their kids. The price one has to pay for a better life.

have watched Tom Rodriguez and loved him during his PBB days and I am so pleased at how he has become now.
He’s not just a pretty boy with a buff body to boot. He can really act too. I really wish him good luck in his new role. Too bad he is leaving ABS.
Another moral lesson I gathered from today’s episode is if you have nothing good to say about a person or something, it is best to just say nothing at all. Nikki learned this the hard way. How she must’ve wished she could take back everything she said to Nicolo and about Ira. I feel for her.
Been in that situation many times before when I thought I was “just being a friend”. Kinda/sorta like what we post here on our reviews too.
Constructive criticisms for the show and its characters are okay but dragging wives and boyfriends of the stars into our comments are uncalled for….
JMHO.
By the time it got to the teaser, I felt like I was on the highest point of a roller coaster ride, and sorta like got stuck up there for a long time, getting ready for the deep plunge ahead. Only rode the roller coaster a few times and hated the downhill part and would always pray that there won’t be any loose screws or broken tracks. This is what I am feeling right now after watching the teaser again. Got a knot in my stomach, that just keeps getting tighter and tighter.
Do I really want to go down the slope? Is there a slower roller coaster? I guess I’ll just have to find out in the upcoming episodes.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this note. Sorry ha, I feel this is the only way to help me breathe it all out, and free myself of this heaviness so I can be ready for all the good vibes that will come after.
Ok, I think I will have to blame it to that blackness that comes long after the sun has set. Long after the last embers of the bonfire have died and almost everybody else have gone to bed, or to their own corner of the beach. Alone with their dreams and thoughts.
After a whole day of sun, sea, sand, you are left with blackness. Even the whitest of sand, at night, without stars, can reflect total blackness.
At least the sound of waves gives you that comforting feeling that there is hope. That when the sun rises tomorrow, everything will be alright again…

Iba na ang mga audience/viewers ngayon may kahirapan ng i-please. Dahil masyadong powerful ang mga social networking media mas lalong naririnig ang boses ng mga viewers. I am glad na di nag papa-apekto ang production crew sa clamour na ganito dapat at ganyan na although some comments naman are valid like they are not the sweetest when they are together for a supposed to be deeply in love couple.
Merong glimpse ng konti kay Maya pero mas lamang ang reservation kay Richard. Again pwedeng i-explain yan pero ang problema maraming atat sa “what is going to happen next?”. Kung viewers ang pagbabatayan dapat nag kiss na sa lips, hug sa beywang, kapit sa braso pag naglalakad, higa sa lap or sandig sa shoulder kung naka-upong magkatabi level na sila ngayon. Well gusto ko rin yan pero after that pagbigyan what will the next clamour? Engagement? Wedding? Pregnancy then ending?
Siguro kung yung mga reklamo lang ang pagbigyan eh this week ipaalam sa kids. Next week pakilala sa parents ni Richard.The week after that engagement then bago mag July wedding na. Minamadali ang ending. Shakoy ayaw ko pa mag end to!
I understand the sentiments of the TFC viewers. Well love ang show in my humble opinion kasi enjoy lang talaga sa panunuod. The reviews after each episode by some subscribers helped a lot in making other subscribers understand the episode better and enjoy it with new perspective. Doing so mas lalo na-a-appreciate yung mga eksena at dialogues. Kung sa comments ka lang kasi mag base it will not give you the total picture or beauty of the scenes. Maiinis ka lang sa mga negative comments whereas sa TFC mas maraming masaya na nanunuod kesa iwanttv.

When we talked to Tart & Direk Panying over breakfast in LA, they were very curious on why we liked BCWMH. We told them about Pex & EB as well. They were very attentive about our opinions esp si Direk. She was listening really well. Tanong si Tart if it was all about RY, I told her that he is indeed eye candy but the show itself is well done, good story & it doesn’t talk down to its audience. That was really a very nice 3 hours of meaningful conversatiom with them.
Lucky you were able to talk to them. I agree with everything you said above. I am watching the show not because it is topbilled by JSM and RY. i watch it purely for entertainment and it’s story. The story +/- the kilig scenes makes you feel warm inside. Honestly I love Maya and Ser Chief more than the actors so I don’t get affected of what they have going in their personal lives. well all the cast ensemble are doing a great job owning their roles.
That I agree let the show flow at it’s own pace though it won’t hurt if every now and then they’ll throw some bone and meaty dish in each episode for the hungry adiks. at the end of the day the story is about the love affair of Maya and Ser Chief so even at a slow pace let us have the timid couple have a bit of naughtiness in them just like the amuyan scene that was deleted. sows dati naman yun ginagawa ni Maya ngayon lang willing at aware ang ka-partner.
I guess they are way too distant and lukewarm to each other kasi nga they have not told yet sa mga bagets ang kanilang relationship. I just hope that once they told them already ay makikita na natin ang sweetness nila with each other.
I’m just ignoring negative comments about be careful with my heart coz I don’t want to get affected. 0ne of the reasons I’m fond of the show is because of its good vibes so i-repel na lang ang nega. Sa kaka-nega nila baka tapusin na lang ng mas maaga ang bcwmh. Sabi nga ni Ma’am Charo, it will be there forever as long as the people still love it. Paano na kung makita nila na umaayaw na ang iba? But I’m sure they have more scientific means of getting viewers’ reactions other than the comments on the internet, such as tv ratings, etc.
Para sa akin, mas sweet si SC nong nanliligaw pa siya at naging reserve na siya nong sila na ni maya. sana ipagpatuloy niya lang yun. small sweet gestures from time to time. di na tuluyang wala na. hopefully sa mga susunod na episodes babalik yun.

It’s becoming more obvious that Ricardo was sweeter during the courtship period. Well, I guess this is true for some guys. They become less sweet when they’re assured of their place in their woman’s heart. For some men, it’s the “chase” during the courtship period which makes them do things they won’t normally do. And when they’re done chasing…that’s when the grandeur usually dies down.
But you know what I’m telling myself whenever I see the lack of physical sweetness between Ser Chief and Maya?
I’m thinking that there could be a plot hidden somewhere…like this could be an issue in the future.
For instance, Maya could be asked by her FA friends as to how was her first kiss like or how “intimate” she & Ser Chief have been since their official start of relationship. Then Maya would come to realize that it’s been weeks or months since they became official and yet the most that they’ve done is to hold hands or beso.
This can also work on Richard’s side, I’m imagining Atty. Ryan to ask him how “sweet” he’s been with Maya. This, given that they’re both no longer teenagers. Ser Chief will then realize that other than companionship ( I think somebody mentioned this yesterday here ) like talking over the phone, eating together, holding hands and beso….he hasn’t done a lot of sweet things with his so-called GF.
Then again, the writers might be trying to explore the idea that Ser Chief is being a complete gentleman. That he’s the type of guy who won’t be swayed easily and give in to his “needs” because he’s afraid that he will scare away Maya if he starts doing the typical couple things with her (e.g. kissing, akbay,snuggling, ).
We might be up for months of “Mr. Gentleman” so let’s just try to be patient. Though I must admit, this can be frustrating. Well, just another viewer who’s thinking out loud here.
It’s kind of slow paced when it comes to the development of Ser Chief & Maya as BF-GF. There are a lot of things to consider, they haven’t told the kids yet & yes he might be too much of a gentleman that he’s afraid that if he comes too close for comfort, then Maya might get uncomfortable, considering that she’s NBSB & he is her first BF. I’m thinking that it will be more realistic if it’s just the two of them on the scene they could be sweeter like just sitting closer on the couch at the condo or after their LQ scene inside the condo he could have embraced Maya before asking her to change so they could have dinner out. Anyway, we all have different sentiments and comments about the show but there’s one thing I know we LOVE it and I TRUST the people behind the show. They will give us what we want in due time. Let’s all be patient and stay cool classmates!

When the TV project was first pitched to her last year, “I (immediately) wanted to give life to the character… and the show, I really believe in its story, concept, characters, although at the back of my mind, I was thinking, if this won’t be a hit, what will it say about me as an actor? This could either make me or break me because this is the first show wherein I’m the lead. But I really wanted to do it, I wanted to try a new genre, a romcom, after doing so many kontrabida roles in the past.”
Debuting July of last year, the “experimental” daytime series, which stars Jodi opposite Richard Yap as her love interest “Sir Chief,” has since turned top-rater, meriting several extensions and seeing no end yet, or at least not this month contrary to previous announcements.
Given that the show has established Jodi as a formidable lead star, would she still accept character and supporting roles after Be Careful? “Well, as long as the role is meaty. There are really no bit roles. In a show, for me, everyone is important,” she said.

One of the visible signs that the show has done wonders to her career is the increase in endorsement deals, the latest of which is with Purefoods Funstuff Nuggets (the kiddie-favorite nuggets now come in various shapes and flavors) with her seven-year-old son, Thirdy Lacson.
Doing commercials/advertisements with Thirdy affords Jodi the additional opportunity for some mother-and-son bonding amidst her hectic schedule.
“What I usually do is I have certain days blocked off per month so that I can spend time with him to compensate for days when I was working or days when I had to attend to my businesses. We go out of town, out of the country. I bring him to my tapings. At a very young age, Thirdy has been exposed to showbiz because I came back to showbiz when he was one year old. So, he’s aware of what’s going on, he knows the environment.”
According to Jodi, the plus point of exposing him to her work is that “while I’m away, he knows where I’m at. When I say, ‘Mommy’s working,’ he knows where I am. So far, I don’t see any disadvantage in it because first of all, I don’t let him stay up late during tapings. When I know it’s time for him to go home, I send him home. And I think it’s good to expose him to different people. For me, it’s essential to his development. But my purpose really, is for him to know what mommy’s work is like.”
Jodi also realizes that such exposure has fanned the interest of her son to follow in her footsteps.
“Yes, that’s true. I know that. I’m sure one day, he’ll tell me, ‘I want to be in showbiz.’ But not now… Siguro ang di lang niya gusto about my job is the puyatan because when we were shooting the commercial, he enjoyed it. He enjoys performing and acting before the cameras. But what he doesn’t like about it is the puyat (long hours). So, he said, ‘Mommy, okay na ako sa commercial, but sa work mo, ayoko mapuyat, gusto ko matulog,” Jodi shared.
Thirdy wasn’t around during the press launch of the Purefoods Funstuff Nuggets endorsement as he’s touring Europe with his father.

Just as she was mum in the past on what led to the breakdown of her marriage, Jodi also chose not to discuss the status of her annulment.
Asked if Thirdy has been expressing any wish for a complete family, Jodi admitted, “Before… But then, he’s been able to adjust to the situation already. He has accepted it and I have never kept anything from him para di na rin siya umasa.”
When Jodi brought Thirdy with her on Be Careful With My Heart’s US tour last month, it brought back memories of when they used to settle in L.A. several years ago before deciding to return to the country.
“Actually, I got a bit nostalgic. You can’t help it. From the smell to the ambiance, parang I can’t help but think, ‘Wow, this was where I was just a few years back and now I’m here again,’ but as a performer this time. When we were going around, I pointed out to Thirdy one by one — ‘This was the hospital you were born… this was the exit (on the freeway) that we would take on our way home…’ I wasn’t being sentimental about the past or anything. I did it so that my son knows where he was born, where he was from,” Jodi related sans any wistful tone.
She’s clearly moving on without “regrets and what-ifs” because if she harbored any, “I wouldn’t be able to find peace.”
Jodi is currently seeing incoming Cavite Vice Gov. Jolo Revilla, although she’d rather not talk about it as well. “I’m really not comfortable talking about my personal life. Maybe bits and pieces I can share with
you, but I’d rather keep it to myself.”
Nevertheless, reporters, who have followed her career and personal life, asked how she managed to bounce back from a personal upheaval that could have easily crushed those made of weaker stuff. I have really thought long and hard if I should post my thoughts today. But since I am still a closet queen and nobody knows just yet about my secret, I decided to come here anyway coz my heart is just bursting with so much tension that I needed to ventilate. Only you guys can understand what I am going through. Di ba nga this is the SCM Anonymous group and we have to talk about how we really feel? So here it goes….
Today’s episode is not helping me with my stress level at all which is at its highest becoz of all this cramming for my exam. Nikki finding out herself first before hearing it from Ser Chief, the horse’s mouth himself is what I have been dreading all along and have stressed out in my post last week. This has been my biggest fear. I’m afraid it is now too late and Nikki probably would feel betrayed by her Dad or by Maya with whom she already looks up to.
I thought Lukes advice to her would ring a chime in her head when she saw her Dad and Maya together but I guess, I can’t blame her. But, I sense something else in the look she gave Maya’s way. Is it becoz of what she said to Joey’s mom in the past? ….the “it would be weird if both of them are dating” line? I hope not. All I wanted was for Ser Chief to tell the kids that …” hey, so you know, your Ate Maya and I have gotten close (Nikki’s words ) that we’ve been hanging out a lot lately. Yun lang! That would have prepared them better than a sudden ” She’s my girlfriend now”. Kahit ako, I would probably make tampurorot too if I was a teenager. haaay! nakaka stress. Just typing about it now made me have tension headache.
Another thing that really got me frustrated was the beach scene when Maya and Ser Chief walked side by side to get coffee.
Heller, Ser Chief! Do you really need to still be a gentleman? Or do you want me to don on my cupid costume so I can shoot an arrow in your heart to give you a dose of Vitamin R as in Romance. I am not asking for much but you could have held her hand right then and there! That was a perfect night to HHWWOTBUSSS! (lets see if the Minkies figure this out…ha ha ha…binigyan ko pa kayo ng homework) Or better yet, nag out of body experience na lang sana ako and sinapian ko na lang sana si Maya so I could have grabbed your hand myself. Naku, baka hindi lang hand ang nahawakan ko, baka kung ano pa ang nagawa ko. Whoa, I have so many scenarios in my mind right now kung Teepee lang si Maya…ha ha ha magiging mINKie siyang bigla! Kahit sino naman yata magiging liberated na lang sa kabagalan mo! Or better yet, sasapian ni Winnie ang director or the stylist kasi nga Oc-Oc siya and sina JanC and MaTh naman sa mga writers. Haaaay, pasensiya na. This is my other persona talking who did not heed the advice I gave yesterday.
“If you have nothing good to say, it is better to say nothing at all.” But there have been so many inconsistencies lately that I have turned a blind eye on and I really do feel the powers-that-be are reading our posts so I am voicing out my frustrations in the hopes that they would read mine. Or could it be that BCWMH team is on vacation right now and the director’s seat is on ….autopilot?
Sorry for ranting but I do have my fave “feel good moments too.

Today’s review will be slightly different that what I used to do. I am just going to focus on the characters in the hope that I can piece it all together to get the gist of today’s story.
Nikki – front and center…throughout this episode I just want to climb inside the computer and give this girl some good spanking. Like Maya’s retweet last night of @boss_gabylopez comment: “Pepektusan ko si Nikki kapag kumontra siya”, that’s exactly how I feel. But I am going to view her attitude based only on facts as shown on the show. First of all, her seemingly negative attitude about her suspicions of Maya could have stemmed from her conversation with Maya. On Monday’s episode she asked Maya if she knew who her Dad’s gf is? She did not get an answer from Maya. Maybe she is upset that Maya didn’t tell her then. Secondly, why is it hard for her to think that her Dad could possibly fall in love with Maya? Maybe it is because in reality she is young and naïve. Afterall, she has never been in love before. She doesn’t even know it when she is crushing on someone. So I can understand that thought. Third, her Dad had given her a lecture about meddling in someone else’s business and now her Brother too. Maybe she is just feeling guilt over what she did with Nicolo and Aira. Fourth, I perfectly understand that she has mixed emotions over everything but the attitude is truly uncalled for. She is truly acting like a spoiled brat. For one, hindi siya nagkukulang sa pagmamahal at pagaaruga specially from her father. Nikki, you truly are so GRRR…
Luke – He is the voice of reason….This young man is truly showing his maturity, selflessness, love and concern for his siblings. He obviously took after his father in so many ways. He sensed that Nikki is upset over the situation with Nicolo and he has a small part in making her feel guilty when he yelled at her about meddling over his affair. So when he brought Nikki back from the beach to the room, he sat her down, apologized first of all and explained to her exactly why he did what he did like a true, matured and caring older brother. His way was calm and his explanation was clear and he didn’t stop until he knew Nikki understood. (This is the 2nd time I have seen Luke really show how much he cares for his sister. The first time was right after the prom when he bought her kakanin because he felt bad over what Inigo did.) Luke also had tender moments when he was putting Abby to sleep explaining to her about Ate Nikki and why Dad is not with them in the room yet. He really did not leave her side until she fell asleep. He showed such responsibility. Lastly, regarding Luke and Richard…Luke seems like he will be the best champion for Richard’s cause over the kids in justifying his relationship with Maya. Luke was the first one to warm up to Maya. He always saw Maya’s purpose and he is the first one to acknowledge Maya’s good heart. Luke was the first person to tell his father to go on and “have a life”. Luke understood why Dad had to wait a while to tell them who this woman is and although he is curious like Nikki, he does not push the issue and does not overstep his bounds. Yes he lost his cool with Inigo before but that stemmed from his first heartbreak and he realized how badly he acted. Luke you truly have your father’s heart. I bow to you.
Abby – In this young child’s heart of hearts she has deep thoughts especially over her Dad’s new girlfriend. Like her Ate Nikki she is curious so she asks simple questions, what is she like? Will she like me? Is she nice? And when they are leaving, she says Goodbye beach, goodbye dolphins, goodbye Chief and Maymay….spoken like a true little girl who has been the glue that kept Maya and Richard together.
Maya and Richard – I review these two together because that is what they are now: as one. At the beach Richard was consoling, sensitive over Maya’s feelings. He told her that they are in this together and that everything will be ok. Richard’s ability to calm Maya down is what Maya likes about him. This is what she expected him to do for her when she is nervous. They were sweet and caring toward one another and most importantly, Richard’s dialogue over the phone to Maya after Maya says Thank you. “ You are part of my life now. You’re a part of every decision I make.”
Since mandatory na maaga ang tulugan ng all star cast audience, tatambay ang mag-jowa sa dalampasigan para mag-heart to heart talk.
Anong drama ng Niknic???? So G R R R R R. Kaya nga sagot ni Nicolo “alam mo hindi naman importante sa akin yun kung gusto mo siya o ayaw mo, eh ano ba kita?” Bad Nicolo.
“Ano ba kita?” – Niccolo to Nikki —— aray naman Niccolo.
Ayaw magbayad ni SC ng extra bed, sa labas natutulog tipid na daw, mas presko pa.

Ang lupit naman two sleepless nights in a row? The writers are giving us an overdose of “bitins” and extra “kilig” from Maya and Ser Chief. They left us hanging, waiting for another tomorrow with bated breath. As the saying goes…be careful with what you wish for. I need some Sominex please?
I have developed restless legs syndrome kasi panay ang padyak on the various scenes:
– Holding hands and in his dreamy voice, SC reassuring Maya that “everything will be fine”
– After their heart-to-heart walking back to the hotel for coffee (no more carinderia) and telling Maya he hopes she would help choose a school for Abby
– Making coffee for Maya at lunch (I miss the way Maya prepares her coffee)
– Maya posing for picture for SC from the kayak (where is the V sign?)
– SC helping with the life preserver (I need one too!! I’m drowning)
– My most favourite scene – Maya giving long loving looks to SC as he assisted her into the car (buti hindi naipit kamay ni Maya)
However, my eyebrows knotted for every dagger looks Nikki directed at Maya. Her looks are as pointed as William Tell’s arrow.
“A heart that never hardens, a temper that never tires, a touch that never hurts.”
This aptly describes Maya’s character. Despite Nikki’s antagonistic attitude towards her then and now, Maya is always ready to love, provide her comfort and help. She has touched the lives of the Lim family by teaching them that love cannot grow through anger and bitterness.
Nikki’s reaction may be just an initial shock and will eventually relent. I suggest Maya cook her famous kare-kare with accompanying bagoong. It just might do the trick to soften Nikki’s heart.
Luke on the other hand is a loving, caring brother. I love how he slept next to Abby when Nikki was too busy emoting.
Kute has every right to react the way she did when she found out that Jeff was already set in his plans to leave for Dubai. He might have the best of intentions of sparing Kute the emotional anxiety of separation from Cho but he made the decision on his own without consulting with Kute. Sometimes as a parent you may have to give up or put your dreams on hold for the sake of your child which Kute would most likely do.
The three housekeeters continue their tongue wagging about Maya and Ser Chief but are only too happy for Maya. What’s with Doris’s yellow bang-killer headband?
Looking forward to reading all your reviews and threads later today. I will try to catch the first showing of “Plantsadoro 3” at the cinema.

Hopefully, kapag nasabi na nila sa mga bata and after a little drama ( I’ll expect drama, ergo, Nikki Grace Lim) they’ll address the lack of sweetness before others.
There a lot more issues for them to face but hopefully before they face that, they will be able to show more sweetness to each other. Really, that would help people see how good they are for each other (not that they have to make people see that).

Just a thought: Couples whose foundation is much deeper than physical attraction tend to be more…formal? Less physical? I don’t know how to call that. They feel their connection even without the touchy feely part of the relationship.
That’s really hard for observing people to believe and really frustrating. But okay fine. They’re the ones in the relationship.

Am I being too critical when I say that they looked “awkward” towards each other even in that supposed scene alone by the beach? Oh well, I guess this too shall come to pass.

I think Nikki indeed has an idea that Maya is the GF. She will bring conflict to the relationship…else, she won’t be Nikki Grace Lim. But I sure hope that Maya will prove her wrong.
Very touching yung Jeff-Cho-Kute scene. Napaluha ako sa iyak ni Cho , iba kasi eh. I dreaded yung scene na to kasi I don’t want Jeff to leave. Sana babalik pa si Tom sa book 2. Maybe finish na yung run ng show niya dun sa other network by that time.
Kalurkey din ‘tong Nicnik eh, hindi pa nga sila, LQ na agad… dun sa mga tingin ni Luke kay Nikki, I think he can sense na may something si Nikki towards Niccolo.
Hawa hawa na talaga pagiging dense talagang bagong member nga ng Lim family tong si Niccolo. Siguro nga kailangan muna nila mag LQ kahit di pa sila para makapag isip-isip.
Galit si Niknik kasi nga they kept it from them. Nag pre-pretend na hindi sila pero they were dating na pala all this time. Like Daddy Singkit would always tell them -I don’t like you doing this’ pero they should be telling him pala the same. Maybe 2 episodes lang ang tampuhan. By Friday everything will be okay na. Then we will see yung ano….yun na nga.

Pero ang sakit talaga ng sinabi ni Nicolo pagkatapos niyang kumain ng cookies ni Nikki he’s asking kung “ano ba kita?”.. really Nicolo?! At sino kaya nangungulit nun di siya pinapansin ni Nikki may pamiss miss pa siyang nalalaman. O huwag na lang niyang pansinin si Nicolo focus na lang ulit siya sa pag-aaral. Gumaya na lang siya kay Maya NBSB.
The lines weren’t extraordinary but the manner of delivery – napaka-close to genuine ng acting. I shed a few tears for the Pards family. Nakakahinayang na magkakahiwalay sila ulit. I have to commend the writers for a smooth transition, yung bang hindi pilit at rushed kasi aalis ng stasyon si Tom.
It’s more convenient for the show to use Nikki as the conflict; nasa personality niya kasi ang pagiging matampuhin. But I hope it will be resolved soon, much quicker than the Summit tampo. Tapos na ang summer vacation kaya people are back with their routines and they need all the good vibes they can get from the show.
Though I miss the kilig moments of Ser Chief and Maya, I understand naman why they appear reserved. Sabi nga ni Emman all-star cast. The holding hands and the “I was thinking of you” sa dalampasigan was enough for me considering the circumstances.
Sana before this week ends, SC and Maya will be able to tell the kids and save Dorbel + Joma from their long-due speculations.
Niknik- It is very much POSSIBLE that Maya is your Dad’s girlfrind 🙂 Rejoice and be glad… Wishing and hoping that you will be open minded and accept Maya with open heart… You are sweet and smart young lady so I believe you will.

Just watched today’s episode. Gosh, the scene of kuteff with cho made me cry. I’ll miss Jeff and “Kuteff”, they add color to the show.
Sir Chief and Maya as a couple is so unrealistic, usually very sweet ang couple during the early stage of their relationship, what happened with these two? More than a week as a couple and yet no kiss? No gift for Maya’s birthday? Well, I just hope that Sir Chief has something to surprised Maya with.
I really love Nikki with her pagdududa look, can’t wait to see the coming epis.

SHE IS PISSED……..
The girl is pissed and rightly so. She feels she has been betrayed by the one person that she thought she could trust. I am referring to two women, in two different circumstances, experiencing betrayal, both at the same time. One is, Kute, in San Nicolas and the other, Nikki, in Subic. However, in this review, I choose to expound on Kute and not on Nikki. I believe, by the time this post will come out, numerous comments have already been shared about Nikki and her issues. In fact, Nikki’s side has previously already been analyzed, alluded to and discussed ad nauseam in this forum Thus, it will then be overkill if I took the time to bring it up again. So, on Kute, I will concentrate my review.
Kute loves Cho. She will do anything to make him happy. She has, since his birth, decided that she will give him everything and anything he wants, as long as she is able. She was initially embarrassed to admit his paternity because she didn’t want to burden the “other party”. After all, her son is an accidental happenstance, brought about by a momentary lapse in judgment and a product of drunkenness. Through the support and love from her mother, grandmother and sister, Kute was able to shower Cho with all the love he could ever want from a family and proudly, raised him as a single parent. However, all of this well-ordered arrangement went topsy turvy when Jeff re-entered Kute’s life.
After discovering that he is indeed Cho’s father, Jeff insists that he takes an active role in parenting his son, too. He asserts his full rights as a father and has ingratiated himself into the family circle by partnering with Kute in a family business, Little Pardz Chibugan. He has proven and continually demonstrates that he is taking his parental responsibility to heart. He takes the time to teach his little boy through their male bonding time. Jeff instructs Cho how to play basketball and how to cook. He also coaches him how to show appreciation to his mother by giving her flowers for Mother’s Day.
In a short time, Jeff has unquestionably shown to Kute that he will always be there for his son. To her, Jeff’s involvement has been positive and she has not regretted allowing him to be a part of her son’s life. She witnesses the twinkle in her son’s eyes whenever he sees his father. Jeff in Cho’s life seems to give the latter a feeling of wholeness. Cho realizes that his illegitimacy is a moot subject now. He knows, more importantly, that he is loved by both of his parents.
However, in a matter of just 24 hours, the unconventional family arrangement Jeff, Cho and Kute has enjoyed, is going to be drastically changed. Brought about by a desire to give her son a brighter future, Kute initially broached the subject of returning to an old job as a seaman. This job entails her absence from Cho’s life and this does not sit well with the little boy. So, Kute goes back to the drawing board to work out another solution. She quickly learns from her prospective employer that the job is apparently not going to take her away from the family for long periods of time, after all, as she originally understood it. Presently, she approaches Jeff with this great news. On the other hand, Jeff, with the best intention for his “family” and unbeknownst to Kute, impulsively accepts a standing job offer in Dubai. The impact of Jeff’s decision hits Kute like a ton of bricks. She feels betrayed and the trust that they had built together has eroded rapidly. Her hopes and dreams of building and maintaining the basic family unit for her son is crumbling before her very eyes. This is a big let down! A huge disappointment! She feels hurt for Cho and she is pissed at Jeff.
Kute will be angry at Jeff for a long while. However, in time, she will be able to sift through her emotions and will eventually realize that his decision is the best one for their son. Cho, on the other hand, will also come to realize that his father is doing his best to support him the best way he knows how. After a time, Kute and Cho will be able to accept Jeff’s decision to leave their family. In time, they will also be able to forgive him for doing so. In the meantime, they just have to accept that the family unit that they have forcibly built and copiously maintained is never going to be whole again.
Everything is back to how it used to be. Kute is back to being a single parent, once again. Cho will have an absentee father, once again. But both cannot deny the impact that Jeff has had on them. They have been changed forever by the brief time that they had spent with him. They had undeniably enjoyed his presence in their lives. They got to know him and learned to love him, as well. They both will be grieving his absence. And they will for a long time. He will surely be missed………

234 Date Aired: Jun. 05, 2013—Lumalakas na ang kutob ni Nikki. Kailan aamin si Maya and Ser Chief?
Parang inaantok lang si SC sa beach scene nilang magjowa hehehe. SIya na lang muna daw ang mag-sasabi sa mga bata tomorrow pagdating nila sa bahay.
Sinundan ni Luke si Niks pero ala syang nakita. kalurks!
Si ate Maya ang girlfriend ni dad?! No, that’s just impossible.

Early navigators relied on Polaris, the North Star, to guide them in their exploration. Today, modern day navigators utilize the Global Positioning System (GPS) to guide them in their travels. Likewise, Richard and Maya each have their individual GPS, without which they probably would have difficulties navigating through life. Fortunately for both of them, they were born with it. When they find themselves caught in a crossroad in life, all they need to do is check their reliable personal guiding system and they are safely guided home. I am referring to Maya’s GPS in the person of Nanay Teresita and Richard’s in Manang Fe.
Mothers carry their babies close to their hearts during pregnancy. Physiologically, the mother’s heart is located right above the womb where the baby is encased for nine months. During that period of time, a special bond develops between the two. For nine months, this special connection is nurtured through a language that only mothers can relate to. Mothers communicate to their babies by talking or singing to them. On the other hand, although limited in their communication skills, the babies respond back through the only way they know how, by kicking. It is the most intimate form of communication known to man and only a mother and her baby have access to it. This special bond does not automatically dissolve once the baby is born. It continues way beyond the baby’s birth. This special connection between the two is so strong that it ignores geographical borders and passes through different time zones. Such is the case between Nanay Teresita and her daughter, Maya.
Nanay Teresita and Maya possess a bond that is special and unbreakable. They may be geographically apart but their relationship can easily transcend distances. Many times, NanayTeresita’s sensitive radars, honed through years of practice, can detect even the barely discernible change in Maya’s vocal inflection and can easily sense the slight alteration of her body language. Nanay Teresita is quick to respond in kind to let her daughter know that when she is ready, her mother is willing to listen, her mother is prepared to provide her comfort, her mother able to help sort things out or just, simply, be there for her.
Although Manang Fe is not Richard’s biological mother, no one can ever say that the bond that they had managed to fuse between them is a farce. On the contrary, what they lack in consanguinity they have more than made up in the untraditional and unconventional pseudo-familial relationship that they both find comforting and satisfying. Surrogate, though she may be, this in no way discount the love that she pours on him and vice versa. In fact, Manang Fe’s “sensory feelers” for her now fully-grown charge, is so finely-tuned that it can pick up the slightest bit of change in Richard’s demeanor. Even before he realizes that he needs her guidance, she has already made the correct assessment of his circumstances and is all ready to dispense her counsel before he even asks for it. What they have between them is indeed special. It is valid, it is genuine and it is undeniably quite admirable.
With a compass like Nanay Teresita and Manang Fe, Richard and Maya will never veer off the beaten path. Between these two mothers providing kernels of wisdom when needed, wise counsel when asked for, motivational talks when solicited, gentle admonition when required and knowing that it is their ultimate best interest that fuel their desire to do it, our two lovers can never go wrong when they conscientiously train their personal magnetic needle towards them. With Nanay and Manang as their guardians, our two lovers are assured of a reliable light in the darkness, a safe landing amidst a raging storm and a guaranteed certainty that they are never alone in their journey through life. All Richard and Maya need to do is simply maintain their connection with their true north.

The writers will probably add this new plot to test the love between Maya and Sir Chief…….it will also test loyalties from the household help ( Manang Fe, Sabel, Doris and Joma), between friends (Alex and Rafi) but most of all Richard and the kids will be torn between the two important women who made a difference in their lives. Alex whom the kids misses so much and Maya who showed them unconditional love….Two women who captured their fathers heart……

So as it turned out, Ser Chief won’t be able to introduce Maya formally yet on tom’s episode basing on the preview where Ser Chief said “For not telling the kids?”
It seems that Maya has chickened out after getting that look from Nikki in the car.
I guess…the revelation of Ser Chief’s GF’s identity will be forced out of him and not go smoothly according to plan. Maybe because of Maya’s hesitation.
Nikki is indeed a very keen observant! She’s living up to my expectations. If I were to base things on her initial reaction towards Maya, well, she’s definitely not so fond of the idea of her dad being in a relationship with a former Nanny.
Thank goodness for Manang Fe’s words of wisdom which somewhat calmed Maya’s nerves. I also enjoyed the “chismisan” of Joma and Dorbel. The LukKi scenes were adorable. I like Kuya Luke this week.
As it has been for the past days, there’s a lack in the “couple sweetness” department for Ser Chief and Maya. I dunno, but their actions and even words towards each other are leaning towards the “friendly” version. It’s like Rafi and Ricardo’s friendly banter. Come to think of it, Ricardo was more affectionate towards Rafi during the time she spent at the mansion.
Ironic don’t you think? Oh well, I am but a mere viewer. My opinion has no bearing on what the writers of this show want to happen. Let’s just all sit back, observe and appreciate the effort put in the show.
Dalawa lang naman ang wish ko sa show na ito.
1. na matanggap ng mga kids si Maya
2. mag-iba ang delivery ni Maya ng lines nya.
Haaayyy.. bumabalik ang alaala ng kabataan ko kung saan mahilig akong manood ng Batibot. Hanggat di pa rin nila sinasabi ang relationship nila sa mga kidssila na rin ang “gumagawa ng sarili nilang multo.”
While we anticipate the ride that is Sir Chief and Maya, I can’t help but look at the other side of the road.
Maya and Kute are like two peas in a pod in more ways than one; they are so alike and yet so different that they are each other’s yin & yang, complementing each other keeping the balance in their frenzied lives. While they are both going thru different aspects in their own personal lives, Maya with the impending revelation of her/SC’s relationship status to the kids; and Kute’s spat with Jeff over his decision to go back/work overseas for Cho’s future; their sense of humor are as cheerful, refreshing and energizing as ever. Either can joke around each other’s problems and treat them as light/bearable as they really are by putting humor into it, yet attacking the very issue to its core. Where one is weak, the other is strong; when one is emotional, the other logical and vice versa, so much so that any problem is bearable knowing they will always have each other to lean on and will always be a source of strength that will carry them through those adversities.
On the other hand, Nanay T continues to be a strong solid anchor to her daughters, Kute and Maya. That motherly instinct working overtime whenever Maya/Kute are going through some rough times in their personal lives. She can always sense something’s up even when no one’s telling, but like any understanding mother, she listens intently, quietly waiting for her daughters to open up… while remaining firm/steady, always keeping a clear mind amidst any situations that may be presented in the family. To Jeff, she is like a lighthouse, standing firm, guiding and reassuring him during this turbulent time with Kute.
And then, Luke. He has become the voice of reason to Nikki and her own dose of conscience; and his Dad’s alter ego in looking after his siblings and their welfare. He’d grown so much maturity in his young life and has grown more loving, caring and responsible Kuya to his sisters, a supportive friend to Niccolo and pride to his Dad.

Sitting in his office looking pensive, Richard is pondering how best to ease the news of his relationship with Maya to the children. It is difficult enough for him to confess that he has found that someone special but because that someone special is their Ate Maya he has to be doubly cautious. Suddenly, his phone rings or the proverbial “saved by the bell”. With the emergency at the Clark hangar, he decides to oversee the maintenance and resolve the problems asap so as not to delay its scheduled launch but in doing so, he has to delay his plan of letting the children in on his relationship with Maya.
I see a parallel here – Richard wants to personally oversee the two problems confronting him – the children and his aviation company. Anticipating any problems after the children finds out about Maya, he wants to be there for her for emotional support; anticipating major problems in the hangar he wants to be there for technical support. He wants to make sure that both launches happen without a smoothly, without a glitch. Richard balances his roles well as a father, a partner and a company owner. Richard’s persona has totally transformed from being distant, insensitive, self-centered to a caring, loving and good-natured person.
In the meantime, Nikki is still brewing and continues to hatch up plans to affirm her suspicion, eavesdropping on Richard’s telephone conversation, looking up Maya’s Facebook account or confronting her Dad. Her plan is derailed when she read Niccolo’s post …”ano ang gagawin mo kung ang taong nagpapalungkot sa iyo ay siya rin iyong nagpapasaya sayo?” There you go, after reading this she drops her last R to her GRR down a notch, i.e. more questions than answers. Her attention is now back to Niccolo and her irritation with Maya seems lessened.
With Richard away, it will be good to see more of the personal interactions between Maya and the Lim children, it will help ease the transition on how they will see Maya as their “Ate” to more than someone special in their life. There will be some tension in the next few days but Maya’s positivity and “just there” for them disposition will open the opportunity to accept her as the individual she is, the person they have come to know and love. I welcome how the writers will present this transition.
It seems that Maya is living this line from the song Love is a Many Splendored Thing…….
“then your fingers touched, my silent heart and taught it how to sing” … “20 times pa ngayon”. I lost my composure here, my roller-caster chair transformed to a turntable spinning me round and round.
I agree with Maya that Kute should just tell Jeff that she does not want him to go and will miss him and that she should appreciate the sacrifice he will make for the family. Deep inside, (way, way, way deep inside maybe) she has feelings for Pards but afraid to accept it fearing it will lessen her tough image after all she is half Kuya to Maya.
Nanay Teresita’s love for her daughters is boundless but the two always keep her in the dark. As a mother, I emphatize with her. You show your children through words and actions that you love them and that you will always be there for them in times of trouble but sometimes they find it difficult to discuss their problems or pour their hearts out to you. We just have to be patient, understanding, and trusting that they will do the right thing.
Based on previous trends, revelation I guess will happen on the 12th pa! I think they will still highlight the kid’s curiosity and emotion especially Nikki on their Dad’s GF so that viewers can appreciate the turn of events more come revelation time.
Kaya matagal-tagal pa, 1 more week!!!
At 1 week pa tayong sailing by lang ang peg sa mga episodes na nagaganap. Wala masyadong highlights except for Jeff’s departure.
I don’t think bibitawan ni SC si Maya. Malabo yan! Kaya Luke, paki sermonan si Nikki ha! Umayos sya!
These last few scenes between Jeff and Kute make me root for them even more! Their scenes were supposed to be on the dramatic side, but I dunno why, their delivery made me feel KILIG! It’s like a real couple wanting to be together for their kid and yet they know that one of them will have to make the sacrifice of leaving.

Kute: Ha?!
Jeff: Pards, di ba pumayag ka na? Kaya nga umoo na ko dun sa Dubai may tiket na ko.

Kute: Ano? ikaw na lang? ikaw na lang ang may karapatan magdesisyon sa atin dalawa ngayon, ganun ba yon? Ni hindi ko nga alam na umoo ka na pala sa Dubai Dubai na yan ah. Jeff di ba ikaw may sabi na pamilya tayo, desisyon mo desisyon ko dapat tayong tatlo umo-oo!!
Jeff: Eh ano ba Chris, sa tingin mo ba madali para sa akin ang lahat?!
Kute: Eh mukha ngang madali para sa iyo eh!!! Wala pa nga isang araw oh nakabili ka na agad ng tiket o eh di napakadali!!!

Pero winner sa lahat ang dialogue ni Mamang.
Mamang: Anong problema ng anak mo? Mukhang tuloy na ang kasal?Parang nagdadiet eh.
Anong age bracket ng kind of relationship kaya ang pinaghuhugutan ng mga writers? Okay lang yung awkward sa start pero parang ang hirap naman paniwalaan na wala talagang urge to even put his/her head on each other’s shoulder? Brushing arms while on the sofa? Wala talaga?
Okay lang naman ang stretching kung may sweet moments ang mag jowa in between. Pero wala talaga e.
Ano daw sabi ni Maya pagkatapos silang mag-usap sa dalampasigan? Mag kape?!!! kung ganyan kagwapo ang boypren ko at naka pajamas, di ko siguro maalala ang kape kahit coffee lover ako. At wala man lang HH ha?
Daming affected sa reaction ni Nikki… honestly, normal reaction yan…been there, done that…nakakarelate ako… kaya hayaan lang nila si Nikki.Ganyan talaga sa tutuong buhay… very rare ang possibility that a child would easily accept a replacement of a mom. Secondly, jealous din siya kasi baka mabawasan ang love/time ng daddy nila sa kanila.These are conflicts that can be resolved in due time.
Pero, kulang nga sa kilig as secret lovers and dalawa.
Nakakatakot nga yung mga tingin ni Nikki eh. I thought magiging ok ang lahat kaso based sa tingin ni Nikki parang may iba. Pero pasasaan ba at magiging ok din ang lahat.. tiwala lang.

The way Nikki sounded when she pronounced “Ate Maya” in the teaser after she suspected bout their relationship didn’t seem to be on an angry note. Am still hopeful she is just hurt that she hasn’t been told from the start. Coz she didn’t have that reaction the first time she suspected her dad was dating. And am hoping din that SC could explain their relationship (especially Maya’s concern for the kids) in such a way that the kids would realize it’s better for them if it were Maya who would be their dad’s partner in life. In a way, they have already lived with Maya and they know her through and through (as MF said, puro kabutihan naman ang pinakita ni Maya.) I hope he doesn’t explain it like he explained their first kiss. Pagnagkataon, naku lagot. Coz I think the kids are really very understanding and considerate in nature once they get the rationale behind things.

Looks like the Subic Vacation has done its magic on the BCWMH team coz today’s episode gave me good vibes as well. Nikki is not as irritated and less sungit today. I saw a change in her demeanor in the bedroom when he told Luke her suspicions and I sense a hint of excitement in her voice at the breakfast table when she thought she would find out if it is indeed her Ate Maya and finally dismaya? or acceptance maybe when Luke finally became the big kuya and became nosy Nikki’s voice of reason. At least, her GRRR is not directed at Maya but at the fact that she was trying to be epal uli. That is a good sign. I think she is just curious and dying.to find out if it is really her Ate Maya. The knots in my stomach are gone and since oxygen is ow flowing freely thru there, i hope that my gut instinct is right.
Correct me if I am wrong, but somebody posted once before on this site about a possible scenario that may happen, about the kids finding out first that Maya is indeed their dad’s GF and they will in turn surprise him instead. Can’t remember who posted it but here is my theory again that TPTB are reading our comments!

YOU have been a big part of my life too, moOoore than you’ll ever know. Becoz of you, I forgot to pay my water bill kaya tuloy naputulan kami. Good thing I caught it in time kungdi lagot ako sa asawa ko. Ang mahal ng reconnection fee pero okay lang kasi nandito ka palagi sa TFC. Becoz of you, ang dami ko nang ginamit na sick time, sa kakapuyat sa panonood sa yo, hindi narinig na nag alarm na pala kaya ayan tuloy, sakit sakitan na lang. Becoz of you, I forgot to bring my daughter’s lunch to school coz when I sat down to repeatedly watch you stare at Maya while she was dancing with Luke sa Feb 13 episode, i lost track of the time until my daughter’s phone call jolted me back to reality. Ako din kinilig sa eksena nina kuteff as if mag-asawa na talaga sila, sad lang that tom has to leave the show, sayang ang tandem nila, I will miss him😟 can’t wait for tomorrow’s episode, gusto ko na din na magkaalaman na, sana lang wag masyadong mag inarte si nikki pag nalaman nyang si maya nga gf ng daddy nya, siguro sa umpisa lang yan eventually matatanggap nya si maya.
Dear Writers of BCWMH,
What is happening to the show’s pace? Several days of episodes where the only achieved purpose was to lead Nikki to the conclusion that Maya is his Dad’s girlfriend? You did not even add a scene where the lovers will find a private time to show their sweetness to each other, yun lang holding hands sa beach? Or are they really in a relationship because ever since she confirmed it, isang kilometro pa rin ang layo nila sa sofa ni Eman kung mag usap.
Also, Maya’s pinapakilig mo naman ako Sir Chief is not kilig at all. Her character should act according to her age and her profession!
ABS CBN is obviously asking you to stretch stretch the show but sadly, the quality of the episodes are deteriorating, nag plateau na nga ang level ng emotion, wala ng kilig.
Oh well this is just my opinion and I am a mere viewer. I am perfectly aware of that. Just writing this piece with the hope that somehow, you will realize that we are intelligent viewers. Don’t milk the show too much.

i’ve watched today’s episode last night (it is shown in my neck of the woods, soCal, dito sa tfc.tv around 10ish PM). just like what i have already read from the reviews and comments hereunder my thread, i got my dose of good vibes and kilig-much moments in today’s episode, thank you. as far as am concerned, the phone conversation between maya and SC is THE moment. ewan ko ba kung bakit everytime SC says “i love you” ang aking puso ang natutunaw, parang ice cream na bilad sa ilalim ng araw… oooppps, may i beg your indulgence at papakawalan ko lang muna ang kantang nasa isip ko:
Ano ba naman ang sikreto mo
At di ka maalis sa Isip Ko
Ano bang gayuma ang gamit mo
At masyado akong patay sa’yo.
sori i digress. sori talaga at nag kris aquino ako bigla… pilit sinisingit ang personal circumstance at every chance na makita. (eh yun pa naman ang super turn off sa akin. so bakit ko xa ginagaya? patatas! kakahawa pala ang pagiging self-centered?! bad habit, kelangan cut! cut! cut!)
back to bcwmh….super like yung response ni maya “mas mahal kita”. sarap marinig sa ating sariling wika ang katumbas ng ILY more.
hmmm….now my personal analysis on today’s interaction between nikki and luke. seems to me ang daming nag nega vibes kay nikki sa kanyang galeng sa pag-irap-irap, ismid at haba ng nguso. na alarma ang creative team at parang ang mga fans is seeing her as the anti-hero. it seems like the avid fans of SCM may anytime now gang up on her at masabunutan na ito. time to do immediate damage control. so in the succeeding scenes pinakita na maaliwalas na ulit ang fez ni nikz at wala ng asim ang pagsabi niya ng pangalang “ate maya”. and to be more effective, turn on the heat kay luke naman. so heto tayo ngayon, super abang what’s the real take ni luke kung si maya nga talaga ang gf ni daddy-O. foreboding ba yung kunot ng noo ni luke? kaabang-abang.

Hihihi… They have that naman. One of the reason why I like the show is the unbelievable chemistry of the leads.
The thing is if chemistry is not put into proper use, nasasayang.

At sobrang tagal naman ng pag amin na yan. Parang 2nd week na toh.
Nakup, dear writers, di kayo mauubusan ng story line even if you do a quick pace. Take it easy on dragging one story line for too long.

Anyway, the 1st 5 minutes palang naiiyak na ako, kasi when they dropped Maya off sa Condo, she was hesitant to open the door herself, because SC usually opens the door and help her with her things. Today, it was self-serve. LOL!!! Napaka sensitive ko talaga…Hopeless romantic!!
Nikki needs to simmer down her “epal” attiitude. She worries about things that she cannot change. What she needs is a “motherly” talk. Her dad is there, and he is very sensitive to her roller coaster emotions, but a mother’s heart is very different from a father’s heart. A mother can relate more to the feelings of her daughter, she can also feel the pain with her, kasi at one point in her life she went through what her daughter is going through. And naturally the maternal instinct is very sensitive, as proven when Nay Teresita and Maya were talking. Nay Teresita instinctively sensed that Maya has more to say, than just calling to say Hello to Kute. A sigh…choice of words.. and the tone of her voice, she already knew that a heart to heart talk is needed. Si SC naman, a typical man…when there’s a problem, he wants to fix it.
Kute…Chivarly is not dead!!!! We will all be sad with you when Pards leave, but he’s the MAN…he takes pride in his responsibility as the head of the family. Be proud of him, that he is working hard and has dreams for you and Cho. You are the mother, kaya kailangan ka ni Cho at home to guide him and love him, the way only a mother can. A touch of feminine sensitivity and not a “pusong bato”. LOL!!!
All my hinanakit flew off the window when SC so lovingly told Maya that….”You are part of my life now, and you are part of every decision I make.” Sabay hulog ang tears of joy ko. LOl!!! Ang drama ko ano? This is what and why this show is loved by thousands and maybe millions because it is so inspiring, hopeful and meaningful to all of us who everyday begin and end our day with this show. Where can you find a show that will inspire you to be a better person, and to daily make it a point to improve on your relationships with others. In my facebook account, I always post the lesson I learn from each episode and it’s amazing how all my friends respond and are now an avid fan of BCWMH.

The Lim family drops off Maya at the condo after a seemingly insignificant trip back from Zubic. Nikki continues to be moody. Back at the condo Maya is nervous about Richard’s plan to tell the kids about them. She sends Richard a text telling him that she is right there with him and if need be she will go to the mansion. Maya is nervous in anticipation of a news about Richard’s talk with the kids.
“Respect his decision and his privacy” Luke to Nikki
Back at the mansion, Richard senses that there is something wrong with Nikki and became hesitant to tell them the news. He found out from Luke about the tiff between Nikki and Nicolo. At dinner, Richard tells them that he will be gone for a few days to resolve problems at the hangar in Clark. Nikki was disappointed. She thought her Dad was going to finally tell them about his girlfriend. She was so eager to confirm her suspicions. She told Luke she thinks it is Maya. (Insert drama music here) She wanted to confront her Dad but Luke stopped her. Fresh from the situation with Nicolo, Luke told Nikki to stop meddling with his Dad’s affairs, to respect his decision and his privacy.
Gusto ko ren yang lesson no.5. Nag umpisa sa FA uniform, then yong bag na parte na yata ng katawan ni Maya (kelangan major surgical procedure ata to remove it totally from her body – lol); and then lately lang yong purontong (seems favorite getup to ngayon ni Maya)

Ugh, that purontong was such an eyesore, gusto ko siyang sunugin!

1) Nikki still calling Maya “Ate Maya”.. can we take this as a good sign? That it shows she kinda accepts her as her dad’s gf? and that she’s just upset on the fact that Sir Chief and Maya haven’t come clean to them yet
2) Pansin nyo si Kute and Papa Pards parehas may singsing sa ring finger nila. Aba! Kinasal na pala! Di man lang tayo inimbita! hihi

SC will go again to clark for several days and for that he holds the announcement that i think a wise action from him… Why? for two reasons… first, he knew that maya is not yet ready although she told him that it’s the right thing to do and he also observes nikki’s mood s not so good….. the second one is that he wants to be there for the kids and maya after the breaking news..:-) kaya tama si maya SC, ur so sweet to think of her and the kids in every desicion ur making..;-)

Akala ko ito yung mas kilig na moments sa kanilang dalawa since in a new relationship sila and maraming patagong sweet moments since hindi pa alam ng mga kids. I thought that will give spice and excitement sa show! Hopia pala!!!
