FLASHBACK<<<<<<< REWIND

326  Date Aired: October 11, 2013….Sa wakas, gagaling na rin ang favorite stewardess ng lahat!

Maya- “ako pa uurong pakakasalan ko ang the best man in the world” tama ba pandinig ko? Then nag hug sila.

Kinilig kasi ako sa failed attempt kiss ni Ricky kay Maya kahapon ayiiiii.

Winnie R OntiverosDoris and Sabel had a special meal for the kids for the purpose of getting updated information regarding Maya. They had a lot of questions but Nikki had to ask them to slow down. While at the dinner table, Nikki gets a dit di dit dit from Amiel asking how she is doing? If she ate already? And why isn’t she replying to his messages? (I will answer that Paper Boy…She is BUSY!) Later that evening, out in the veranda, Manang Fe approached Richard. He is having his coffee and deep in his thoughts. (And wearing this two sizes too small of a bright orange shirt that is so tight that his biceps could barely fit. This man needs to stop lifting weights or he will have arms like the incredible Hulk only he isn’t green but rather handsome ha ha) He told Manang Fe that he probably should not have meddled (referring to Tay Arturo.) He feels guilty. Manang Fe told him that his only intention is to make Maya happy. He didn’t mean to hurt anyone. In due time, they will eventually understand him. “I hope so.” Richard said. Manang Fe asked him if he has already told Maya? Richard said no because the doctor advised that she shouldn’t be stressed. However, Richard said he wanted to tell Maya. Manang Fe said not to hurry things and to allow Maya to fully recover first. Wait until she gets out of the hospital. Richard nodded in agreement. (Aaawww poor Ricky. It isn’t your fault. ☹)

The following day, Richard makes it back to the hospital. He finds Nanay Tere still sitting with the sleeping Maya. She asked to have a word with him so they went to the hallway to talk. Richard asked Nanay Tere if she has spoken to Maya. Nay T said no. She has not told Maya anything about seeing her father. Nay Tere asked Richard if he intended to tell Maya? Richard said he didn’t even know if he should tell her. Nay Tere told him that he needed to tell her. It is her right to know. She thought maybe to wait until she gets better. She told Richard that she knows how much he loves Maya and she also knows how much Maya loves him. But she hoped that Richard also understands how she feels. Richard nodded. He is so sorry to have hurt Nanay Tere unintentionally that he could hardly look her in the eye. She knew Richard is feeling bad so she asked him to go in to see if Maya is awake now while she goes home to Ehman’s for a while. She will return later.

At the mansion, Nikki updates her FB status. She posted that she is happy now that the crisis is over. Ate Maya is in full recovery. She said the Lord is so “bait” (good.) As soon as she posts, there were instantaneous replies. First from Nicolo acknowledging that the Lord is good. He said it is nice to hear that Ate Maya is ok now. He is going to send her a dit di dit dit after this post. Then he asked how is Nikki? The second reply is from Amiel. He said it was good to hear that news. So now he guesses she isn’t busy anymore? He too asked how Nikki is? Nikki just shook her head. She couldn’t believe these two. (I think they are sitting in front of the computer just waiting for you to post something, anything and that is why the immediate reply. I also think that Nicolo types faster than Amiel ha ha…)

Eh walang buhatan scene sayang ang orte kasi ni Maya.

Sabi ng doctor “oh Richard wala munang date sa labas ha”

Kilig to the max. No acting school of acting is so back. And I’m loving it. Missed it so much. Yehey.

Zel MHANDLING THE TRUTH

We are confronted with some kind of truths every day, whatever age we are. There’s a confession from doing something wrong or withholding information; or being truthful about what is going on or not in relationships. Handling the truth takes some bravery on our part. Whatever these truths, how we take them or handle them depends on the kinds of truth we had encountered. Some truths we dread to learn; some we fear to speak or at some point we cry with relief or joy or excitement to hear or some get defensive like getting angered, sulking yielding to bitterness, anger or solitude giving these truths controlling us in the end. And when we are ready to handle these truths, we’ll respond in ways that somehow preserve our dignity and our self-respect while many respond with desperate acts until the time that the truth finally set us free. The key is to ACCEPT even when we don’t agree or not accepting such realities. Acceptance after all is the primary place of control and power and denial will consume us and strip us our self-respect.

When Nanay Teresita (NT) came face to face with a painful truth of the past, she reacted like any human being would… letting her pain of 15 long years consumed her that anger coated in harsh words was what she could muster to Tatay Arturo. And when she got alone to process what had happened, she let out her emotions and cried her heart out. It was one thing to be glaring at a past she had longed tried to put behind but now that it came back, she was at a lost how to handle this terrible truth knowing not only she would have to handle this but she would also share this truth to Maya and Kute with that additional complications that Richard had been instrumental in Arturo’s resurrection. While she had been conflicted with how she would handle everything, but part of her also needed to consider Maya’s wish to see his father again as well as how Cristina Rose would respond to Arturo’s reappearance as she would want to handle the situation herself. While she would have wanted to just forget it ever happened and just moved on without dealing with it, her maternal instinct kicked in and she again had to put herself behind and share the truth to her daughters by giving Richard the go signal to inform Maya about Arturo and share the information about him to Cristina Rose when she’s back in San Nicholas. How they will handle the truth about their fathers will be something we can only wait to unfold.

When Nikki told Amiel to stop courting her since there will be no point of him courting her since it will never lead to anything, initially Amiel was taken aback and could only stared at her until she’s disappeared from his sight. But after their classes had ended, he went to see Nikki at her classroom and tried talking to her, asking what just happened, wanting to understand where she was coming from. Nikki, on her part had to come clean and tell him she’s not allowed to be courted. On his part, he said if the problem is her Dad, he could talk to him and seek permission but Nikki finally explained her promise not to get into a relationship until she’s 18, a promise she intends to keep to her Dad. Upon hearing the whole truth of the reason why he couldn’t continue with courting Nikki, he understood her predicament and accepted wholeheartedly without bitterness on his part. Yet, while he knew he should stop courting her but that didn’t dampen his spirit and yet that encouraged him to seek her consent and clearance to allow him to court her when she finally turns 18 and ready to receive suitors of which she agreed.

As far as truths in life are concerned, we are only strong to a certain point… we can only bend so far before we break. But the naked truth is always better than the best dressed lie. In the end, no matter the hurt, no matter the pain, no matter how long we may have cried, the truth will always set us free.

Waaaahhhh! nakita ko rin nakapulupot si Maya sa biceps ni Ricky! Ang sweet lang!!! Ba’t parang miss na miss nga nila ang isa’t isa??? Parang mapunit mga labi nila sa kakasmile, di matago!!! Kinikilig ako!!

What I appreciate about this show is that it promotes good values, it showcases traditional Filipino practices, it portrays characters of integrity and it teaches its viewers life lessons. The scenes chronicle the collective everyday concerns that the average Filipino faces and shows how he realistically responds to his challenges. He does not always come out victorious. But then again, winning is not really the focus of the story. It is how the Filipino tries to surmount his adversities that are highlighted in the show. This, it successfully presents in less than a half an hour every day, five days a week.

To date, the creative team which in the first six months of the show, probably felt like they were fish out of water, are now fast becoming the new standard on how a television show should be conceptualized and portrayed for their viewing public. They quickly realized that their viewing audience is not just limited and contained within the Philippines. With the information technology, the show is now seen in all corners of the globe. They recognize that they now have to cater to a wider and more sophisticated clientele. To appeal to their fast growing fan base as well as maintain their popularity, they discovered that they should encourage an interactive relationship with their avid followers. This essentially will accomplish two things. The production team will instantaneously receive the most honest response to their most recent episode. From this feedback, the writers can essentially enhance or revise the script that they plan to present next. They successfully adapted this new format of script writing: COLLABORATING with their viewers in the evolution of the story. And boy, have they adapted well.

The new format is a win-win situation. On one hand, the script writers can glean from the input of thousands of their passionate and opinionated viewers, some of whom actually have surprisingly great insights to share. On the other hand, the viewer feel validated and are then inclined to invest even more time in following the storyline and commenting on the current plots shown by the team. And the rest is history. BCWMH is by far the highest rated, most-watched and top-earning show for ABS CBN.

Who knew that unlikely commentators, like you and me, actually can have a hand, little though it may be, in shaping the direction of our beloved story. This in a nutshell is the main reason for the success of this thirteen-week-pilot-television show turn the most-awaited-day-time-show-on-Philippine television for the past sixty-six weeks! Who knew! I bet the executives of this fine network are still shaking their heads in disbelief as their serendipitous experimentation translates into an unexpected golden egg!

Piloy Pge@HW. Agreed with you that this teleserye is a win – win situation. Economics 101. applying law of supply and demand. We demand the entertainment and the ABS CBN supplied the BCWMH. The products itself is the storyline and the good mix of cast characters. A good marketing executive does not usually end the product as long there is a demand for it. You are right, not only the executives of the ABS CBN are happy but also their stockholders. Vallidation of this when they award the Lopez achievement award to BCWMH.

Tess DowHi Hot Wasabi, wow you are leading a girl scout troop? camping is always fun. It brings you back to basics (ground/dirt). I always find it as a good therapy for an OCD like me lol! I am just curious, Is it true that the creative writers are revising their scripts based from their fan’s feedbacks? Did you know this for a fact? or by observations? I noticed that when we had discussions about something or an issue from an episode, an answer is provided on the next epis. I thought we were just good with our hunches? 🙂 I think this was discussed before but I just want to hear it again 🙂

1. Coffee scene with SC yung size ata ng shirt niya is extra small kasi wala ng mapaglagyan ang kanyang biceps sana ni roll-up na lang niya ang sleeves para kita maskels niya 🙂 para sa atin mga viewers may libre ka nang tinapay at kape habang pinapanood mo siya 😀
2. Hospital bed scene when Maya said to SC “nakita lang kita busog na ako” syempre sino ba naman ang hindi mabubusog sa biceps pa lang ni SC parang may kanin ka na tapos samahan pa ng pogi niyang fez ay ulam na and his muscular fit body is a dessert pa Yummy Yum!!!…naka 3 in one ka na! Pero infairness, natural na natural ang kilig smile ni Richard Yap dito…kakatuwa!
3. Wheel chair scene…tama si Ms. Winnie sa laki ng biceps ni SC sana nagpabuhat na lang si Maya kasama ang wheelchair 🙂 joke lang po….sana mas sweet kung si Ricky ang magtutulak ng wheelchair para cute ang dating 🙂
4. Ang straight forward question ni NT kay Richard kung “desedido ba siyang pakasalan si Maya”..at least narining natin ang straight answer ni SC dito…kasi wala pa naman silang 3 mos. na mag-on then nag-propose na siya kaagad kumbaga tayong mga viewers ay naniniguro lang din kung ano ang motibo ni SC dito kasi before may nababasa akong mga comment na medyo inconsistent si SC kaya heto na at least panatag ang loob natin na malinis at pagmamahal na tapat ang motibo niya para kay Maya 🙂

As always, Sylvia Sanchez is an outstanding actress. She portrays her character very well in her emotions. I hope that Jerome Ponce’s character will not leave the show.

Hindi ko alam kung kanino sa kanila yung mataas na Parang naipit na kilig. Paki SOCO naman. Uwi na everybody. May bagyo naman. Sobra kilig first few mins!

In the beginning, NayT must have harbored hope that TayA would see the light and return to her, until the feeling turned from longing to anger and eventually, acceptance. Unbeknownst to Maya, those yearly anniversary treks to her parents’ special place have turned from a recollection of love to memories of the dead. NayT has found an easier way to endure.

Until she was rudely reminded that he still lives…

The memories of betrayal came in droves of agonizing pain, and she responded with anger, her primary weapon for self-preservation. With reality catching her off-guard came seeds of doubt in the sanctity of marriage, sowing fear in a mother’s heart, fear that her daughter may suffer the same fate. It also brought with it the burden of admission to her children and reliving what transpired that day, 15 years hence.

Today’s episode also showed Maya’s natural side, her playful and endearing ability to articulate words of affection followed by a hug to seal the deal. That SC has proven his love beyond reasonable doubt has given her more than enough confidence and yes, she had lots of encouragement from his biceps, too. But the fact that he’s been walking with his tiger-tail tucked between his legs was not lost on Maya, despite his bravado.

Not to be ignored is Nikki who finally set the record straight with Amiel, and he, in turn, remarkably handling the rejection well. And then there is Nicolo going through the same predicament as Nikki, with regards to his newfound feelings (finally).

How these stories unfold remains to be seen.

My biggest concern is…. How in heaven’s name will Maya fit all those balloons and banners, not to mention the pillow, into her scrapbook???

I believe naman sa steadfastness and fidelity ni SC. Naku, limang taon siya na nag-abstinence. Ni isang girl walang pumalit kay Alex, si Maya lang talaga at may I ask permission pa sa asawa kahit patay na. Plus his priority is his family. I doubt MA’s priority then was his family kasi nagawa niyang iwan pamilya niya. Pero there is also a turning point in a person’s life when he will realise he made a mistake. Ang sa akin lang, MA should realise na mahal na mahal niya talaga pamilya niya enough to try to win them back at hindi yung sumuko na lang siya.

I was actually a little confused with NT’s reaction when she saw Arturo as i thought it was inconsistent with what she has shown all these years, like celebrating her wedding anniversaries ( although i must say, that scene showcased SS’ acting prowess). And then you provided the answer – the yearly celebrations were actually akin to honouring the memory of the dead – indeed, “an easier way to endure”. “Until she was rudely reminded that he still lives”. Now i can look at this development with a better perspective. Thank you.

Now if we can only solve the bigger problem about that scrapbook…

1. Lahat tayong adik nakita ang supersized bicep ni Richard Yap at yong tshirt….tama ka extra extra small nga. Super tinapay at Kape talaga ha ha
2. Sa bedscene nila Gem pareho sillang kinikilig. Panoorin mo ulit makikita mo….
3. Sana talaga nagpabuhat na lang si Mayabels baka lalo pang suweet ang dating.
4. Oo nga e tama ka na kamo-monthserry lang nila e engaged na kaagad pero ito ang isipin mo Gem….matagal na silang magkakilala. Hindi alam ni Ser Chief noon na mahal na pala niya si Maya. Na notice niya si Maya ng husto noong pinulot nila ang airplane. Pag dating sa Ipis episode tumitibok tibok na ang puso ni Ser Chief. Pag dating doon sa Chinese lantern, may seed na. From that time on hanggang sa sinundo niya si Maya sa San Nicolas talagang may gusto na si Richard sa kanya not to mention na si Mayabels e from first meeting sa Jones Bridge pa lang. E di noong finally sinagot na siya ni Maya e talagang deeply in lab na ang singkit na mama kaya bakit patatagalin pa. Magkakilalang lubos na sila at pareho naman sila ng nararamdaman. Plus gustong gusto nang makasal ang mamang singkit kasi ang tagal nang walang katabi sa pagtulog limang taon na. Syempre miss na rin Niya. Si Maya naman hindi pa niya alam kung ano yon. Pero talagang wagas ang dalawaang yon for sure.

Haaay Gem nakakaloka ka. Tuloy kung anuano ang sinasabi ko na. Sige na at mag gigitara pa ako…Nag re reminisce ng mga songs haha

SC: Nakausap nyo na po si Maya?

NT: Hindi ko pa nabanggit sa kanya na nagkita na kami ng tatay niya. Kailan mo ito balak sabihin sa anak ko?

SC: I don’t even know if I should tell her.

NT: Kailangan sabhin mo ito anak dahil karapatan niya yun, siguro pag magaling na lang ang anak ko.

SC: nods

NT: Richard alam kong mahal ka ng anak ko at alam ko rin na mahal na mahal mo ang anak ko kaya ko naiintindihan ang ginawa mo pero Richard sana maintindihan mo rin yun nararamdaman ko… Baka gising na si Maya sige na bumalik ka na doon sa loob.

SC: kayo po?

NT: Uuwi muna ako sa bahay ni Emman babalik din ako mamaya.

SC: Ihahatid ko na po kayo sa sakayan.

NT: Salamat.

At the hospital sabay pumasok si SC at nurse.

Maya: Hi Ricky! good morning ate.

Nurse: Ang fresh nyo pa rin ma’am.. uy si ma’am naka make-up.

Maya: Hindi polbo lang ito ‘te.

Nurse: Pero naka lipstick kayo?

Maya: Hmm lip gloss lang ito kasi nakakadry ang aircon

SC: Lip gloss ha?

Maya: Eh lip gloss lang naman talaga eh.

SC: Nodding

Maya: Okay, fine ayoko lang kasing magmukhang may sakit at saka alam ko na darating ka.

Zel MSLG, kaloka ka din sis, pinagdiskitahan talaga ang pandesal… ayan tuloy nagutom si Marya at napaisip na naman ng pagkain. Sis Marya, you have been thinking a lot of food this week!

And yes, Sis SLG, we should thank NT for getting it out of Ricky’s mouth his true motives, and now we can finally breath that he truly truly loves Maya and she is definitely in good hands…

SC: You’re always beautiful to me not matter what.

SC: Yes! Ikaw kumain ka na din?

Maya: Busog na ako.

SC: Nag-uusap naman kami ni Corine, as a matter of fact dadalhin niya yun mga samples at suggestions mamaya para mapagdesisyunan na natin.

Maya: Talaga?

Sc: Pero Maya if you want we can postpone the wedding.

Maya: Ha?! Eh bakit?

SC: Eh baka kasi mabigla ang katawan dahil kagagaling mo lang sa sakit.

Maya: Hindi Ricky okay lang ako promise at saka wag na natin ipostponed yun wedding kasi excited na ko eh pag pinostponed natin yun wedding baka mawala excitement ko.

SC: ????

Maya: At saka baka magbago pa yun isip mo.

SC: That will never happen, baka ikaw?

Maya: Ha?! Nagbibiro ka ba? pakakasalan ako ng kaisa-isang lalaking mahal ko aatras pa ako?

SC: Smiling.

Maya: At isa pa pakakawalan ko ba ang the best fiancee in the world, baliw lang ang gagawa nun at hindi pa ako nababaliw.

SC: (laughing/hugging) I miss you so much.

Dami niyong nakikita na hindi ko napupuna. Believe na believe ako sa mga observant eyes ninyo. Parang naka-ocular inspection alert lang ang peg ninyong dalawa ni Winnie. Hahahahahaha.
And how quick of you to pick up that Richard has indeed put the tuldok in his motivation for marrying Maya. No more doubts for me, either.

After the weeding of Maya and Ricky,hope the show will not end just like that. To my opinion ABS/CBN should continue the teleserye (BCWMH) to the
second level.where in Maya and Ricky as husband and wife.They are madly in love to each other,before they married,and now that they are one, let them
show how married people treat each other to make the relation last longer or should I say till death do part them apart?

My point is– for Maya and Ricky as an ambassador to promote long lasting married life.Now a days I saw lots of our young children are abandoned by
either their mother or father and I know this kids are not really happy but they have no choice.The show being so popular in promoting good vibes
good lessons in life and our Filipino traditions this might help in our young generation .These is just my opinion .

Linda BernardoNakakinis si Ricky . Three times nag-attempt halikan si Maya while in the hospital kahit sa cheeks lang. Now Maya is out of the hospital ang kiss lang na ginawa sablay pa eh nang paalis para ihatid si NT sa airport. (writers ano ba ‘yon).

Too many memorable moments to mention. The most kilig for me, conversation ay when Ricky asked Maya they can postpone the wedding…. only crazy woman will let go someone like him and she is not crazy.

I do not want to mention mga iyak moments, hindi ko kinaya.

I wonder also about Luke, him maybe transferring to Singapore Aviation School. Mukhang may patutunguhan ang storyline na ito. Aalisin na ba si TP sa BCWMH or recurring role na lang siya.? We will find out later.

Many are saying when the wedding happens the end is near for BCWMH. I don’t think so. It will be the start of new beginning, the married life will have more kiligs. Besides, the fans are still wanting more. No one in their right mind would kill a goose that lays a golden eggs.

BCWMH is the most viewed programs worldwide. Many confessed they only subscribe to TFC,tv because of BCWMH. There are those who admitted they are non-teleserye watcher all their life or non-Pilipino program watcher and now they are hooked. So stay put fellow BCWMH fans, it is here to stay.

Just want to share re: about my kuya who works and resides in Australia with his fam. We were texting via whatsapp… Was suprise He always watches BCWMH everyday even the sched show is upto 1:30am. Funny at his age he still watches pinoy teleserye… He never watches teleserye when he was still here in the Phil. When he watched one episode BCWMH, it got his attention then he never stopped watching. His sister-in-law even sent him the music album (i think the very first album) and always play it in his department at work… Funny pa his Aussies apprentices three of them whistle it while working on cars…hehe!

O syempre dun na ako agad sa hospital scene. Ang cute lang ng nurse, KULIT! Pero wala ng mas kukulit pa dun sa dalawa. Parang may extra EXCITEMENT at KILIG yung delivery nila ng lines! Linda BernardoI have been watching BCWMH from day one through cable. I did not know about TFC.tv. I knew it only when I watched JSM and RY sa Shrine Auditorium dito sa US on May 10, 2013. I got 30-day free trial. At first, I did not even know there is a forum for this teleserye. I’ve been watching it for the duration of free trial period and did subcribe afterwards. I found out by accident, the cursor had a life of its own. It brought me down to the BCWMH forum. It must be destiny ha ha ha !!!I I have not participated in any forum before but now I do. Besides being enlightened and entertained, may BONUS pa, I gain some friends through this forum.

Maya said he is going to be fine anyway; Nay T is there with her. Then Richard thought maybe he should send Sabel over to stay with her tomorrow? Nay T told him not to worry. She can handle everything. She told him that if they need anything she would call him. Maya’s heart is full from the attention from both Richard and Nanay Tere. She felt like she never left the hospital with the two fussing over her. Here comes Ehman with a tray of food for her. He tells them that he sprayed her room with disinfectant and insecticide everywhere to kill off all the mosquitos. (Waaaa Ehman how about the fumes? She might get sick from the fumes ha ha) He sits on her side and ready to spoon-feed her the food he prepared for her. Richard told Maya that there’s another one that is fussing over her. (Ehman loves her roomie that is why I love him too…. ☺ )

Later that night Maya notices that Nanay Tere is tossing and turning and letting out big sigh’s. She asked her if she has a problem? Nay Tere said that she just worried for her these past few days. Maya apologized if she worried for her. She promised that it won’t ever happen again. Nay Tere was pleased to hear her say that. She takes her daughter close to her for a hug. The next morning, in San Nicolas, Cho is getting ready to go to school. Kute would not let him leave the house without insect repellant lotion and a bug repellant sticker (like the one Niknik placed on Nicnic Waaaa! I saw on twitter this hashtag trending #MarNellaTheUnkabogableLoveteam! Ayos!) At first Cho wasn’t too happy with the sticker for fear other kids would tease him but Kute said his other choice is not to go with her to pick up Nay Tere at the airport. Cho is smart…that’s a no brainer…he walks to school with cutesy patch repellant. 😀

At the high school, Nikki was posting something on the poster board when Amiel ran to help her. Nikki wasn’t too happy to see him because she knows the time has come for her to tell him the truth. Amiel was hoping she would be in a much better mood this time since seeing her post on FB. However Nikki was still not so well. He told her that he does not understand her mood swings but he understands. He started to pick up Nikki’s bag to carry it when Nikki stopped him. She told him that she is serious when she told him to focus on school and the play. Amiel argued that he is fine. He could do it all and court her. Nikki tells him not her. She couldn’t handle it. Besides she can’t have a boyfriend yet so his courting is going to lead nowhere. She tells him it is best to stop. Nikki walks away very quickly but stopped to see how Amiel took what she said. He looked sad and a bit confused. (Good Nikki. Face your fears and like Nike said Just Do It!) At the mansion Luke and Nicolo were playing basketball video games. (At first I thought these two made “bulakbol” – skipped classes but I just remembered they are on sem break) Nicolo told Luke that he saw Nikki’s post last night that Ate Maya is better now? Luke said yes. She actually has gone home from the hospital. Luke even said that she is almost back to her old jolly self. “No wonder when I dit di dit dit her, she sends me back a bunch of smileys” Nicolo said. Then he said that maybe Abby worried for her a lot and Nikki too? Luke said that is expected of those two. Nicolo asked him if he is still going to Singapore? Luke said yes. Him and his Dad already spoke and he is leaving tomorrow. (Waaaaa! I don’t want you to go to school in Singapore Luke. We will miss you pogi face. ☹) “Tomorrow?” Nicolo asked. “It looks like it will take some time before we see each other again?” He asked. Luke said he would just be gone for a few days. However he requested Nicolo to watch over Nikki and Abby. Nicolo was surprised. “Me?” he asked. “Yep, I have no choice. You are the only one I could trust with them two.” Luke replied. Nicolo felt good about what Luke said but on the other hand, he is a bit nervous as well. He trusts him. Is he going to betray that trust? I think so if he doesn’t tell Luke right away. “You don’t have to come over. Just send them both a dit di dit dit when you can.” Luke said. “Ok my friend, I will take care of them.” Nicolo happily accepts his best friend’s request. (This is making me nervous.)

El MSis Linda, am also one of the many who just subscribed and watched only because of the good reviews I had been getting about BCWMH. I may had been a late comer but nonetheless, I caught up pretty quickly and the rest is history as they all say.

And yes, the bed scene was momentous and disappointing as well, with Ricky not heeding the effort of Maya being ready for him with her putting that lipgloss.. Hay, how can Ricky be so not getting that hint… hay! Sis WinO sige na nga you can put yous hands on your hips and scold Ricky ha ha ha

As a BCWMH fan, happy ako and worried at the same time. Happy because that means shelved ang John Lloyd-Jodi primetime teleserye, which of course gives us hope sa continuous run ng BCWMH. Sabi kasi dati ng friend ko who works in ABS, nakadepende raw sa plano regarding Be Careful kung matutuloy ba ang JLC-Jodi serye.

Medyo worried lang ako kasi if the JLC-Toni sitcom is about married life, how would that be different from the theme of BCWMH Book 2 if itutuloy ng ABS? Anyway, I trust naman na iba talaga ang Be Careful kahit pa may similarity rito ang tema ng ibang show.

Since walang tao dito kanina, I went back to Thread 1. Found out si Sir Jimuel nakiki chika din pala dito, and Denzsalgado (tama ba spelling) as well. Also JSM aka Simoune Renee. As in sumasagot sila. Also read batuhan ng posts nina Lunar, Talilai, Adiksayo and a lot more. May isang adik ang tawag kay Lunar, Quarter Moon.  I’m on page 80 palang and i somehow got hooked. From the start, ang saya na dito sa pex.

Gusto ko makita role ni RY as kargador sa pier, suot yung white tshirt nya na nagmumura ang sleeves sa biceps nya. Tapos si Jodi pasahero, dadaan, madudukutan, makikita ni RY, hahabulin ang snatcher, may suntukan, ibabalik ang bag kay jodi, at dun na sila magkakakilala. FPJ ang peg

love for her, she is giving in to the idea that Maya will see her father again.

Nikki Grace Lim, good girl. At least nasabi mo na kay Amiel about your promise to your Dad.
In fairness, even though I am for Team Nicnic, I like the idea that Amiel will still be waiting for
Nikki to turn 18. Creative Team walang fast forward ha, para BCWMH will be here to stay, waiting to
Nikki to turn 18. So the rivalry is still there between him and Nicnic. Nicnic, will see damoves that you will make
especially that Luke wants you to look after Nikki and Abby while he is gone.

I love the scene of SC and NT in the car. NT wants to shield her daughter for the hurt and pain
she has experienced when TA left them, so she wants SC to promise not to hurt and leave her daughter. I also
love the answer of SC – “you know how much I love her”….wagas…..

But the most kilig part were the hugs of SC and Maya, nakakainggit. But still I miss the “Sir Chief” word instead
of Ricky. At least naman, may kiss na silang dalawa.

Sideline po, ang laki-laki nang biceps ni Richard especially on the part where he was wearing the red T shirt
na he wants to carry Maya. Wow, wow, wie……..Kayang kaya mong buhatin and Mahal na Prinsesa….

Linda BernardoMost teleseryse I watched in recent years the weddings were the culmination or finale of the series. It will not be for BCWMH. It is the integral part of the series to continue the GV saga.

I suspect even the management is scrambling on how to capitalize the phenomenal success of this teleserye. I saw one, the creation of “light drama category” . Got 2 Believe, the customer focus here is the young demographic. Kathniel love team has a lot of followings. Their teleserye would be a good vehicle to inspire and empower the young generation.

ABS-CBN created BCWMH for specific market that’s why It was put on morning slot. To their surprise, the result is phenomenal, accepted worldwide across the board demographic. The cast ensembles are from Abby to Manang Fe (young & old) perfectly chosen for the character and each deliver it with excellence. Perhaps additional cast will be a baby for Ricky and Maya. Libre mangarap!!!

Where am I going with this? The bottomline is BCWMH is here to stay. Kapit bisig tayo.

Tess DowToday’s episode is so great. Every scene is wonderfully written and acted. The flow of the storyline is smooth. They added Nikki with Amiel and Nicolo with Luke. It showed normalcy in BCWMH episodes is back.

Two things that made me cry and touched my heart. First when Maya and Nanay T were talking in bed. It was Maya’s words that touched me deeply. She apologized for causing her trouble. Si Maya talaga kahit nakangiti lang napapaiyak ako. Second was again when the two of them were saying their goodbyes. Maya is such a wonderful daughter and appreciative of her mother. I love their relationships. It is pure and gentle. I wish that every family has this kind of relationships.

What made me laugh is when Kute was putting the lamok patch to Cho. Her being OA as a mom is so endearing and touching. She is just like Nanay Teresita. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Because of Amiel’s persistence, Nikki has finally told the truth why she is avoiding Amiel. She is blunt and honest this way but what bothers me was that she probably would have just avoided him instead of telling him her reason. This is why I gave Amiel thumbs up for not getting discourage of her indifference. (aaaaay sorry Nicolo! it looks like Nikki was impressed too! like me).

I am speechless of Richard and Maya. Their love for each other is “nakaka-inggit”… I am so envious of the two of them.

It looks like the ‘drama’ on Nanay Teresita’s life is never ending. I wish that her story will be portrayed in BCWMH theme na light and funny and full of kiligs. Her kids and even the late Mamang’s approach in life is always happy and light. I know it is going to be a challenge but wish ko lang. Gusto ko lang ulit yung dating gv gv sa BCWMH.

Abby’s acting is so naturally good like JSM and she is still young. I admired her and also Cho. These two are going to be great actors.

I am curious as to how Nicolo is going to execute as guardian for Nikki and Abby while Luke is gone. I don’t think text text lang will do Nicolo. In the teaser Maya looked shocked upon hearing that SC found her dad. I believe that the shock expression is because of the news but Not because she is mad at SC. GV GV……Have a nice weekend!

When he called her name, Nikki was surprised to see him. “What happened a while ago….I should be the one to feel awkward because I am the one that you turned down?” Amiel said. “I’m sorry Amiel. It just came out. I should have told you that a long time ago but I hesitated because you are so nice to me.” Nikki said. “So why can’t anyone court you yet?” He asked. (hmmmm she is still too young Paper Boy…haven’t that thought crossed your mind?) “It’s my Dad.” Nikki said. “So I will talk to your Dad.” He replied. “No no no it’s not him. It’s me. I made a promise to him that I will not have a boyfriend until I am 18. It would be unfair if I didn’t do it. I am so sorry.” Nikki said. “Don’t be. You should never be sorry for keeping your promises.” Amiel said. (In fairness that is a good line Paper Boy. I give that to you.) “But I do have one thing to ask of you.” He continued. “What?” Nikki asked. “Can I court you when you turn 18?” He asked. Nikki smiled and said “yes”. He tried to take Nikki’s bag again but stopped himself realizing it would be weird to keep carrying Nikki’s bag and books at least until she turns 18.

Cho comes home from school all sweaty. Kute asked him to change his clothes and when he refused a couple of times, Kute warned him that Nay Tere will not be happy to smell his sweaty hair. At the condo, Maya sends off Nay Tere. She wanted to go to the airport with Ricky and her but Nay Tere said she might get a relapse. Maya told her mother that she is so lucky to have her for the way that she always provided and took care of her and Kute. Nay Tere said that any mother would do what she did. But Maya reminded her that not many mothers could do it alone. It isn’t easy to raise a family all by herself. She said she doesn’t know how to repay her Mother for everything she has done for her. It warmed Nay Teresita’s heart. She told Maya that she was never alone because she has her and Christina Rose. When Ricky arrived, she gave Maya a power hug (the family that hugs together stays together…I believe that.) and told her never to forget that she loves her very much. With that the two left.

In the car, on the way to the airport, Nay Tere was a bit cold with Richard. But she engages in a conversation with him. She asked him if he is serious about marrying her daughter? Richard was surprised at her question. I think he has proven time and again to her that his intentions are clear. “Of course Nay, Why?” He asked. “Promise me that you will follow your vow to one another. Richard, we both know that these days there are many marriages that fail. It is easier to leave one another or file for annulment. Promise me that you would never ever leave my daughter, that you will be careful with her heart. It is easier to hurt someone than be the one who gets hurt.” She said. “I won’t” Richard replied. “You know how much I love her.” (Nay Teresita has a lot of fear about Maya getting married and reliving the hurt that Tay Arturo did to her made her have those fears again. This must be the third time that I could remember she asked Richard never to leave Maya. Once in San Nicolas, the 2nd time at the cruise ship before he proposed and now. She could not bear to think that Maya may someday have the same fate as her. That would just be too much for her beloved daughter.)

Kute and Cho were so happy to see Nay Teresita but she seemed gloomy. Kute noticed right away. After dinner, Kute asked Nay T if there is a problem. At the condo, Maya sensed something with Richard. She asked him if he has a problem or if him and Nay T have a problem? “I did something wrong.” Richard admitted. “I thought it was the right thing to do. But it turned out that I caused undue problems.” Richard continued. “Why? What did you do?” Maya asked Ricky. “Please don’t get mad at me and don’t be surprised.” Richard said. “Nay what is it?” Kute asked Nay T. “I saw your Dad. He was there to check up on your sister.” Kute’s face was blank. “I had someone investigate and I found your father.” Richard said. “Huh?” Maya was shocked. (Oh please oh please Maya don’t be upset at Richard. Kute don’t be upset at Richard…Nay T stop being upset at Richard. He has done so much for yall. His intentions were good and yall should know that. Praying all this is resolved by next week.)

At nareview ko na ulit ang episode kahapon… di ako maka move on sa ‘aymisyu at mas lalo ako’ convo ng magnobyo sa hospital..

Lalo siguro kung si Ricky ang nagsubo kay Maya para kumain…. di ba, talagang ganun ang magjowa..sweet, walang sinabi ang mga langgam…

At humirit pa uli si Ricky ng “Mas lalo ako.” Awwwww

Nakailang takes kaya ang “Busog na ako. Nakita na kita.”  I am sure it elicited a lot of laughs, shrieks and kiligs from the whole production!

Pansin din ang kilig nung dalawa sa scene… there was something in the way they delivered their lines… may kilig..  ako lang ba o adik lang talaga..

Ganyan na nga sis! May taas ng one inflection ang delivery nilaaaa. No acting acting na hinaluan nila ng kilig!  It was sooo evident talaga! In fairness naman to them naman, talaga namang siksik, liglig at umaapaw ang nakakakilig na lines dun sa eksenang yun! Kaya nadala lang siguro.

They really should have more of these scenes to show how in love these two are and how happy they are pag magkasama, so much na minamadali nila ang kasal!

Zel MOPENING ONE’S HEART

To open one’s heart is an idiomatic expression which means to confide in or bare one’s thoughts and feelings to another person. Most of us believe we have open our hearts at some point in our lives but truth is we have also been shielding our hearts from things, people, events that may hurt us in the process and protecting ourselves by closing our hearts is but a natural defense mechanism because of all these fears – fear of rejection, fear of being exposed or being vulnerable, fear of being wrong, fear of ridicule, fear of not being loved or fear of not being good enough. As fear sets in, we tend to close our hearts as we try to keep out anyone or anything from hurting us, keeping us safer and secured. Unfortunately, putting barriers will never make us any safer for it will only isolate and cut us from the rest of the world, much less from the very people we love. A closed or shut down heart makes it impossible to open up and allow happiness, open great opportunities and good relationships to come to our lives. Closing our hearts will only have consequences not only to us but the people around us as we try to keep all painful emotions away, locking them inside our hearts, hardening our hearts in the process and eventually keeping love away and hate thriving and flourishing.

However to open our hearts, we must allow ourselves to feel everything including the pain, those agonizing emotions we try our hardest to suppress, forget and lock deep in our hearts. And the only way to open our hearts is to reconnect with these emotions and reclaimed and confront such emotions head on, breaking down the barriers we built around them so the healing process can finally take place. As we opened our hearts, we are slowly removing those barriers and limitations, stretching beyond our comfort zone which can be overwhelming, scary while vulnerability set in… but finding that inner strength, getting comfortable and being confident, fear will disappear, our worries of hurt, of pain will fade and we finally journey towards our center, our heart. With opening our heart, we then have room for growth, for forgiveness, for change and for love to come in, again.

After all that they have gone thru in their relationship, Maya knew something’s bothering Richard so she asked what his problem was. Richard, consumed by guilt of what he had done, opened up everything to Maya. Fearing she might get mad, he apologized and humbly asked her not to get mad and to forgive him for the wrong that he had done. He made it clear that he only did it out of his love for her and wanting her to be happy but in no way had he intended to cause problem and to hurt NT in the process by opening up old wounds. But because of the accidental meeting of NT and TA, he had to come clean to his fiancée and hoped that she will forgive what he had done. Maya, knowing him, she knew he meant well and would never try to harm her or her family and she tried to let NT understand where Richard was coming from. But deep down, she had longed to see her father again, to get the answers she had been dying to ask all these years and she opened her desire to know the truth to NT and Kute. Opening her heart to them of her desire and when she got their blessings, only then did she ask Richard to arrange for a meeting with her Tatay.

Nikki on the other hand, encouraged by her Ate Maya, opened up to her Dad when asked how things were. She finally got the courage to tell him that she turned down her first ever suitor. She apologized for keeping it from him all this time fearing that he would be angry. Richard was pleased that Nikki finally opened up to him and shared her most intimate secret she could only share with Ate Maya.

Eto na. Malalaman na ng magkapatid na nagbalik na si TA!!!

Galit si Kute. Kalmado at interesado si Maya.

Naintindihan ni Maya that SC only did that for her.

Winnie R OntiverosNicolo is visiting Luke before he leaves for Singapore. He is writing all the “pasalubong” that he wants from Luke such as the latest NBA video game, chocolates and men’s cologne. Luke was surprised about the cologne. It reminded him what Nicolo told him the day of the semestral finals that he wants to court someone. He asked him how he is doing with this special someone? Nicolo said there really isn’t anything going on just yet. Luke teased him of being slow. Meanwhile Nikki and Abby come home from school. Abby asked why Kuya Amiel didn’t hang out with them during recess? Nikki said he might be studying. While walking inside the house, Luke and Nicolo heard Abby say “I thought he stopped courting you already.” Luke made a comment to Nicolo that it looks like Nikki basted someone. Nicolo asked why she is home so early? He thought she still has school. Luke said it is exams day. Nikki was surprised to see Nicolo as well. They said hi to each other and then Nicolo excused himself to everyone. He said he needed to go home because he is feeling tired. He didn’t even hear Luke trying to stop him from going. He just knows if he is going to stop this attraction to Nikki he need not be anywhere close to her. He hurried up and said goodbye. The three were left wondering why he left so sudden.

At the condo the five eat dinner in Ehman’s tini tiny pink table. Abby asked Maya where Ehman is? Maya said that he is at a classmate’s house finishing up a project for school. Luke asked Maya what would Kuya Ehman want for “pasalubong”? He wondered if he would like chocolates? Maya said yes. Maya asked Luke if he is ready to go to Singapore all by himself? Luke said yes (Waaaa I don’t want Luke to be gone for a long time. I am going to miss him.) He told Maya not to worry because he can take care of himself. Abby said that Luke should be self-reliant. Maya was surprised to hear Abby say such big words and asked her where she learned that? Abby said she learned it from Star Scouts. “We were taught that we should learn to do things on our own so that even if there are no adults around that they could still take care of themselves.” (Wow Abby you are such a smartie pants.) Maya was impressed. Richard asked Nikki what’s going on with her? Luke teased her that she learned a lot from her girl talks with her Ate Maya. Nikki didn’t like what her Kuya said but Maya encouraged her to tell her Dad. So Nikki told Richard that she basted someone for the first time. She apologized for not telling Richard right away. She said she thought he would get mad. Richard told her that he would not get mad because he knows that things like that are bound to happen. Richard said that Nikki is beautiful, talented and charming. He said that it would be a surprise if no one courts her. But she is still very young. Nikki agreed. She said that she just made it clear to him so that he doesn’t expect anything. Richard said for her not to worry because when she gets old enough there would be suitors lining up for her and then she would be mature enough to pick the right guy. “Just like Ate Maya Daddy?” Abby asked. “I’m not so sure about that Baby.” Richard replied. Maya said, “Of course you are the right guy.” (Awww come on Richard you know Maya was in love with you long before you knew you were in love with her. It was a no brainer. Your only real rival is Capt James Ventura but lets count the others that showed interest in Maya? Simon, Lino, Wilson, the other male FA that I can’t remember the name and James Ventura)

At the airport in San Nicolas, Nanay Teresita arrives to an excited Cho and Kute but she wasn’t into it. She had a gloomy disposition and just wants to go home. This surprised Cho and asked her mom if Nay Tere didn’t miss them? Kute made up the excuse that her Mother was just tired from the flight. Honestly, even she was surprised.

At the condo, Maya told the kids not to help with the dishes. Richard told them they have to go ahead because Joma is waiting for them downstairs. Maya wondered if they were not going home with him? Richard said he is staying behind because they have something to talk about. Maya then said goodbye to the kids. Richard walked them down to the car to send them off. (I was really surprised the entire Lim family fit in Ehman’s condo. But it is a nice change to see them eat in such a small place. This family really sticks together and since Maya is still recovering, they all come to join her. It truly is a nice jesture.)

Some reviewers have complained about the plots dragging in places, but you have avoided the fake melodrama for something resembling reality. Many of us are fans BECAUSE you have not rushed the story with brainless and predictable plots. I’ve gotten to know the De La Rosas, the Lims, and the surrounding cast of characters in depth. We’re now set to get to know Tatay Arturo and wonder about how this changes his long-abandoned family.

When people say the show is “corny,” we say, more butter please! Everyone is struggling to make the right decision, to follow what is good and right. That’s not corny. That’s human.

And when the show does end, a lot of people will be glad to have watched it. “If you love me, like you tell me, please be careful with my heart…” (whistling)

Delia CabreraThis is the very show that got me hooked on Teleserye. The show revolves around two families that are different in its make up, social status and everyday challenges but similar in family values and ability to have close relationships that are relatable to its diverse audiences. It intelligently explores family situations, subtly educating its viewers of healthy family relations with light humor and a touch of escapism with the “kilig” factor. It provides inspiration and offers hope while playing out emotional situations. There were numerous times when I couldn’t hold back my tears and couldn’t wipe away the smiles on my face with the plot development and brilliant acting of the cast. However, lately, the show has dragged on a simple conversation into a half hour void of enough content and significance. Richard and Mya’s chemistry has gone platonic, and worse, has evolved into a father-daughter connection. The magic is dissipating. It’s tragic because it’s a high quality TV show borne of technical experimentation and creative ingenuity. I’m rating it 5 stars but not for long. I hope they turn it around before it’s too late.

Ang cute ng dinner sa condo pinagkasya ng Lim family ang mga sarili nila sa maliit na dining table first time itong nangyari 🙂 Sana tuparin ni Luke ang sinabi niya na ilang araw lang siyang mawawala kasi kung kelan ikakasal si daddy biceps (accdg to Marya V.) eh saka pa siya mawawala mami-miss ko siya pramis…siguro kapag umamin si Nicolo kay Luke na ang babaeng type nya ay si Nikki baka mabahala si Luke at mag-decide siyang hindi na lang tumuloy sa Singapore. For Abby…proud na proud ako sayo dahil ang layo na ng narating ng personality mo eversince dumating si Maya sa buhay mo…now she’s more braver and can do things on her own (what a fine young lady!) Tomorrow…tama kayo another Kleenex moment I hope SC will just stay outside until the meeting of Maya with her dad is over para may moral support man lang but I’m sure he will…siya pa love niya si Maya 🙂

This is the reason why BCWMH is the best teleserye that I’ve watched in my 70th years of existence on this planet earth period, all of the characters ,

My most worry though is the end of the show is coming to an end and for me it will be a big set back in my life.BCWMH give me inspiration to live

The reason why BCWMH is such a loved show is that…it portrays real life situations and real emotions. Each one of us can relate to a situation portrayed in this show. The emotions of Nay T, Kute and Maya was captured in their individuality. Depending on where we are in our lives, we deal with situations differently. Some of us can forgive sooner than others, but forgiveness MUST come in order for us to put the painful past behind, and embrace what is ahead of us. The decision to forgive touches you, to your very core, to who you are as person. It involves your sense of self-esteem, your personal worth, and the worth of the person who has wronged you.

There is no forgiveness without tears. The tears symbolized the release of pain, anger, and resentment that has hardened our hearts. For Nay T and Maya, forgiveness will come sooner than Kute. I take it, that Kute will have a harder time, because she has taken on the role of the “father” in the family when Tay Arturo walked out on them, and this may be the reason why she has not shed a tear. Pusong mamon din si Kute, so I know it will come.

BCWMH…thank you for another GREAT episode and for opening our eyes, that forgiveness should not be withheld from anyone, for we too have wronged and need forgiveness as well.

PLEASE!!!! Don’t end the show with the wedding…Maybe take a break, so the cast and crew can rest, but bring them back energized with the married life of our beloved Mahal Na Hari and Mahal Na Prinsesa.

Lucia NavalOverhwelmed ako sa emotions na ipinakita ng bawa’t character sa spisode na ‘to. It’s not easy for people who had been hurt to just forget what had happened. Nevertheless, I believe they will forgive soon. The coming wedding would be the occasion to be together and be one. Let’s give them time. Kabit-bisig, ‘ika nga. Salamat sa napakamakatotohan na episode. You’re all great.

Will miss Luke but this will help him in the long run if he will really inherit his dad’s business.
He finally hugged and said you’re the best dad in the world.
His sisters will really miss him too.

Sa pag-SOCO ko rin ng upcoming teleseryes and shows ng ABS even yung pang malayo pa, pang-2014, mukhang wala sa mga ito ang potential na papalit sa BCWMH, judging from the theme nitong mga shows. Most are serious and for primetime.

Iniisip ko nga baka ginawa yung SG plot na yun kasi dapat mag-SK ulit sya. Tapos, sinamantala na lang ng writers yung pagkawala ni Luke para umusad yung Nic-Nik at maipakita yung level ng relasyon ng mag-amang SC at Luke. Not sure…

Linda BernardoI shed bucket of tears on this episode. I can feel NT’s anguish and Kute’s undestandable anger towards her father. Sylvia Sanchez is such a very good performer walang matigas na puso ang hindi mapapaiyak sa delivery ng lines niya. The Dela Rosa show three different level of emotions. I can relate to them although I did not experience what they are going thorugh. Perfeeeect acting. BOW ako.

Kasi walang balita or anything baka part of the story lang talaga na pa SG siya at ayaw tayo bigyan ng CLUE kung ano ang pasabog habang nandun si Luke sa SG o wala si Luke sa mansion.

Pero tama ka sis baka may mangyayari sa NIcNik !

Baka pinapalevel up ang personality ni Luke… ready for challenges at maging self reliant ng nga… (pahiram Abby). Temporary ng lang siguro kasi panay ang sabing sandali lang daw naman… ilang araw lang…hmmm. baka magkita sila nung dating ghel na may gusto kay Pards… di ba sa Singapore daw sya?  (Pinagugulo ko ang storya.)

Parang ganito: Maya ihatid ko lang ang mga bata sa baba then I’ll come back para tulungan ka maghugas ng plato! Ngek! di pala!

At ang bilis magligpit ni Maya ha! Hinatid lang ni SC sa baba yung mga bata tapos pag-akyat ni SC, nakaupo na si Maya sa sofa!

Naawa talaga ako kay Luke/Jerome sis kasi na overshadow na siya ni Nikki/Janella, pero if the writers have big plans for LUke at kasama na itong SG trip then Go ako! Basta stay siya dito sa BCWMH!

Winnie R OntiverosLater that evening, Maya was deep in thoughts. She couldn’t sleep. She remembered when her father would leave that she would always ask to go with him. When he couldn’t he would send her flying kisses (much like what she and Abby does to each other) and Maya would catch it and place it on her cheek. Then she would send him off with one of her flying kisses…not knowing one of those might be the last time for fifteen long years. This would bring tears to Maya’s eyes (and to mine too as I find myself missing my Daddy as well) She decided to call her Mother. Nay Tere asked her if Richard told her already? Maya said that Richard didn’t mean it sounding like she is pleading for forgiveness for Richard. Nay Tere assured her that she isn’t upset with Richard. She said maybe she just overreacted. Maya thanked her Mother for being so understanding. “I know you still want to see your father don’t you?” Nanay asked Maya. “When you asked me at the hospital, I didn’t know that he was actually there.” Maya answered. “But that is what you want right?” Nay Tere said. “It’s ok. Go on and meet your father.” She added. “No Nay if it will be a burden for you that’s ok.” Maya replied. Nay Teresita said that it is her right to see her Father. She said that what is between her and her Father does not include her and Kute. Her relationship with him is different than their relationship with him. What she feels for him should not affect her. Maya asked Nanay if she is upset with her father? (I think that is obvious Maya.) Nanay Teresita asked her not to take that away from her. Maya said, “I understand Nay.” When they hang up the phone, Nanay Teresita couldn’t help herself. She held her wedding ring on her hand and looked at it with her heart breaking into little pieces. Kute watched her from the dinning room. She doesn’t like that her father had once more brought tears to her mother’s eyes. Maya called up Ricky to ask for his help. (This is so sad but I think we all knew this part was going to be one of the tearjerker parts of this story. Bring out the Kleenex, tp’s and towels.)

At an undisclosed place, Tay Arturo seemed to just sit and waited for a call from Richard. Finally his phone rings. Richard tells Tay Arturo that Maya knows already. He asked if she is mad? Richard said she wants to meet with him. Tay Arturo hesitated and told Richard that this might not be right. He feels that he might just be causing her trouble. Richard argued that Maya wants to see him. So Tay Arturo agreed. Richard told him he will set up something for tonight and he will give him the details of their meeting later. Tay Arturo thanked Richard. Upon hanging up the phone, Manang Fe walked in with coffee for Richard. He updates Manang Fe that Maya wants to see her father. Manang Fe asked if he was going with Maya to meet her father? Richard thought that their first meeting should be between just the two of them. Manang Fe agreed. She said there are many things that they need to talk about. Richard thought so too. Manang Fe told Richard that she is so happy to see how much he loves Maya to do all this for her. Richard couldn’t be pleased with himself just yet. Knowing what happened to Tay Arturo and Nay Teresita’s meeting, he hopes that they would be happy after they talk instead of the other way around. (Don’t worry Richard. Kapit-bisig. All will be well. You know Maya she will find that love from within her and she will be the one to guide Nay Teresita and Kute back to accepting her father at the very least.)

In San Nicolas, Kute is talking to Maya. She asked her if she already knew about their Dad? “Yes” Maya said. “The nerve of that man. I am sorry but I am so upset with him.” Kute said. (Hmm I am not surprised. I knew you would be mad because you were the one that played the role after he left.) When Maya didn’t reply Kute knew. “Wait a minute, don’t tell me you are siding with that man?” “But I want to see him.” Maya said. It’s Kute’s turn to be silent. Maya called out her name. “Why do you want to see him?” Kute asked. “Of course, he is still our Dad. And I have a lot of questions for him. There are a lot of things I want to know. You? Don’t you want to see him?” Maya asked. (No Maya she is upset with him don’t you see?) “No” Kute said. “But this is just me. If you want to see him that’s your decision I respect that. After all, I can’t tell you what to do.” “Thank you Kute” Maya said. (Maya wants to see her Dad but not until she has the blessings of both her mother and her sister. Somehow, even if things didn’t start well with the accidental meeting of Tay Arturo and Nay Teresita and now that Kute knows about him too, it is better this way that everything is out in the open. The bitterness and hard feelings will never go away whether they find out the truth now or later. For Maya’s sake, it is better that she knows she didn’t hide anything from both Nanay and Kute.)

It’s just a matter of finding a good partner for Jerome.

Dapat yong parang mala Maya ang peg… makikay ang dating kasi seryoso din si Luke, mana sa tatay.

How nice naman of the Lim family to have dinner sa condo ni Roomie Emmie, bawal nga naman ang date sa labas kaya sa loob na lang! Nice one!  And it was also nice for the kids to give Maya and Ricky some quality bonding time.  Si Ricky, nakatakas sa paghugas ng plato!  Pero haaa. Pahumble ang loko, o fishing lang talaga sa “Like ate Maya, Daddy?” “I dont know about that baby.” Tapos sabi ni Maya “Syempre naman!” Yung tinginan nila, yun lang talaga. BOW!

I love the interaction of the Lim kids. Aba syempre namiss ko din ang Jernella moments noh? Cute na naiyak si Nikki ghel kasi hindi niya mababantayan yung girls na magkakagusto kay Luke, ang gwapi naman kasi ng panganay ni Ricky boy! Sana hindi na nga siya matuloy sa SG chorva na yan. Hindi ko kakayanin!!!

Nakakakaba yung premise ni Ser Chief! Akala mo naman kung ano ng masamang ginawa niya, buti na lang kakagaling lang sa sakit ni Maya at hindi siya OA levels kung mag react!  Natutuwa din ako that Nay Teresita understood na what Ricky did for Maya and si Kute ang galing galing niya talaga umarte!

I like your insight on how the Dela Rosa women agreed to keep the anniversary as a routine to keep young Maya from being hurt from knowing the truth. I admire them even more for selflessly thinking of the young girl and not influencing her tender heart on how she should feel towards her father as she grows up. What a commendable thing to do. For fifteen years they have kept this a secret and agreed to go through the motions. What amazing women!

How nice naman yung dress ni Maya! Halos wala ng make up si Jodi pero ang ganda ganda ganda niya pa din! Tapos kaadikan aside, naglalight up talaga siya pag si Richard yung kaeksena niya, wag kayong ano!  Ako din, hindi makakalma kung hinalikan ni RY ang kamay ko juiceko! Tapos deretso HH na. AnonymousThe Lims plus Maya equals one big happy family. The sharing at the dinner table, especially Nikki, with the guidance of Maya giving Nikki the go signal to share what is the latest with her. Maya is teaching Nikki (and Abby and possibly also Luke) to be open with their father with everything that is happening with their lives (at least the important notable ones).

The goodbyes done at the front door of the mansion was touching. This is the first time I saw Luke hugged and embraced his father. Though there is no common practice of greeting and saying goodbye, he was always respectful after he has learned how to be more understanding of Richard. I like the way the writers made Luke’s trip to Singapore as normal and believable to the story of the Lim family.

Three personalities, three different beliefs, three different decisions.
Maya has always dreamed of one day finding her father. Now that Richard has paved the way for her, she is decisive that yes she needs to do this to answer the “why” her father left them. The flashback shows Maya saying goodbye (I am assuming that was the last time she saw her father). This implies that Maya is really Tatay’s girl as Nanay Teresita said in one of their telephone conversations. Arturo Dela Rosa is still her father and she would rather speak with him personally and find out for herself once and for all, seeking the peace that she needs with regards to this important part (family member) of her life. Maya values family (no matter how dysfunctional it is).

Kute (Cristina Rose) has strong feelings and has the same initial reaction as Nanay Teresita. Older than Maya I am assuming that she must know of the father having another woman or have heard or may have suspected. Every time they celebrate the anniversary, she does not join. It was always Nanay Teresita and Maya only. Kute and Mamang only joined forces because Maya was supposedly in Dubai so they had to fill in for Maya to make Nanay Teresita happy. Every time Nanay Teresita makes any reference or comparing or reminiscing about certain happy moments with the father, Kute always had a certain facial expression showing her not in agreement though she is just playing along or just going with the flow. Her uttered statements “father is really thick-skinned ,”and “don’t tell me you are siding with him?” Is a child’s cry for the hurt inflicted by Arturo leaving and Kute has closed her heart not wanting to see him again.

Nanay Teresita on the other hand I feel is full of conflicting emotions. Her initial reaction is the culmination of 15 years of suppressing the anger that got buried in her heart. At the hospital she told Maya that there is only one reason why he left, for another woman. But she does not want to face it and she prefers that there is no confirmation at all because if she does it will just hurt her. But in actual fact, all the hurt was all there all along. She always had Mamang at her side, mag-kasangga through good times and not so good times. Whether she confirms or not, she is harboring all the hurt close to her that ultimately it will not be good. She knows Maya wants to see her father, if given the opportunity, she still has the wisdom to give Maya her blessing, because as she told Richard, Maya has the right to see her father if she wants to. Her decision as of now is “wag na lang” she does not want to know. But I think her heart is telling her otherwise as she still loves Arturo, she just needs to open her heart again.

My take on the Dela Rosa women: Mamang, Nanay Teresita and Kute (Cristina Rose) kept to the anniversary routine by tacit agreement to protect Maya, who at 10 years old, was most affected, and shield her from the hurt inflicted by Arturo’s departure. Depending on how well Arturo will be open and honest with Maya, I believe Maya will be the bridge to mending Nanay Teresita’s broken heart and pacifying Kute’s anger and melting Kute’s seemly heart of stone (pusong bato).

But she surprised him with “I am going to meet with my Tatay.” Ehman’s mouth dropped open and couldn’t say a word. After a couple of seconds he asked, “What are you going to wear?” (bwahaha Oh My Geeeee you are hilarious Ehman.

At the mansion, everyone says goodbye to Luke. Both Abby and Nikki keeps giving him “bilin” for their “pasalubong”. Abby hopes he does not like it in Singapore. She said she is going to miss him. Nikki said she didn’t want him to go to school there because she is not going to be able to scrutinize the girls that are going to be falling for him. (And we don’t want to miss your good looking, super kind self in our show. Please please Luke don’t be gone forever.) “Take care son” Richard said. “Dad if I like it there…” Luke didn’t finish what he wants to say. Richard replied, “Whatever your decision might be I would be happy.” “I love you Dad. Thank you for being the best Dad in the world.” Luke said. “I am proud of you son, I love you too.” Richard replied. (Waaaa What a sweet father and son conversation. It truly warms my heart.) Both Abby and Nikki cry. Luke reminds them he will be gone only for a few days. They all hug each other as if it will be a lifetime. (And I am with Nikki…singhot singhot = sniff sniff)

At the condo, Ehman checks out Maya’s clothes figuring out what would be appropriate for her first time meeting with her father. Maya decided the white dress would be fine. (Actually I like it too Maya) Ehman agreed and reminded her to bring a handkerchief because he is sure that there will be a cryfest. Maya told Ehman to stop teasing her. Ehman said for Maya not to underestimate the powers of her tears. They seem to have a life of their own. They just come out whenever her emotions are triggered whether it is sadness, happiness or excitement. (hmmm Yes Maya, I have to believe that your tears have powers and a mind of their own haha ha) But seriously, Ehman asks Maya if she is expecting something? Maya told him she doesn’t know what to expect. At the same time, Tay Arturo is figuring out what he would wear too when Richard called. He tells him that he’s arranged for the meeting with Maya tonight. He asked Tay Arturo if he wants them to pick him up? He said he’d just meet Maya at the venue. Not knowing what kind of place he is meeting Maya, Tatay asked Richard what he should wear? Richard told him there is no dress code where they are meeting. What is important is that him and Maya meet. (Are men really like that? They don’t say hello or bye. They just talk and hang up the phone. *shakes head)

As a departure from the heavy drama, I also like the scenes that the Lims shared with Maya around the dinner. That was so sweet. They really are acting like a family unit.
The other scene that I thought is tender is between the siblings as Luke was saying goodbye. That to me was a tear jerker, too. Hopefully, Jerome’s political ambitions are not going to take him too far away from keeping his role in this family. He is after all still a part of the family and without him, they will be incomplete.

Richard couldn’t resist her. She is just too cute and sweet. He asked her how she is doing? She said she doesn’t know how she feels. Richard kissed her hand and told her to relax. The car pulls in front of the restaurant where Maya is meeting Tay Arturo. Maya asked if her father might already be there waiting? It is obvious she is a bit jumpy and tensed. Richard had to calm her down again. He held her hands and told her that he did this to make her happy. But if this is going to be bad for her….Maya stopped him. She said she has to do this. She walks inside and asked for the reservation under Mr. Lim. The hostess leads her to the table where she sees Tay Arturo waiting for her. She stops short of a few steps. She swallows her nervousness. Outside, in the car, Richard watches Maya sit down at the chair in front of her father. He smiles to see that she is holding up just fine. (This is why I forgive you for being dense Richard. It is times like this that you show your care, compassion and your love for Maya better than any kiss you could have given her. It’s ok I’ll let it pass this time ☺) Tay Arturo asks Maya how is she and Kute doing? Maya said they are ok. She said together they manage as long as they Kapit-bisig. Tay Arturo was pleased to hear her talk about Kapit-bisig. He told Maya that term originated from him. He used to tease Nay Teresita that when they haven’t repaired the house, the house would not topple down because the termites are kapit-bisig. So Maya asked him “If that is so, why did you let go of Kapit-bisig?” Tay Arturo is now faced with the inevitable. What would he say to Maya? How would he respond?

I had been moved by the Lims dining with their Ate Maya at the condo and being considerate to give their Dad and Ate Maya some quality time. I was also touched with the scene with Luke leaving, these siblings and Richard had really gone a long way… now theirs is a picture of a loving family filled with love, respect and understanding within the family… What a lovely sight to see indeed.

And as always, the Dela Rosa women never fail to give us the best emotions coming out so natural, so realistic that we are all moved to tears, we cry with them, we get excited with them, and we feel their pains, their anguish and even the excitement… what powerful women!…

I was also thinking na baka nga hindi tutuloy sa SG si Luke e. Kasi if plan talaga nila to make him study there, malamang ipakita na lang nila yung pag-alis na mismo nito at hindi na yung may pa-ocular ocular pa kuno. Tapos, yung mga touching lines and scenes kanina ng Lim family before Luke went to the airport, kung talagang aalis si Luke, dapat sa mismong pag-alis nya to study in SG ginawa.

Baka nga this SG plot was just meant to explain his absence due to the barangay elections. Tapos, inisipan na lang ng writers na lagyan pa ng further significance.

All the while talaga I thought plane crash. Mejo masakit nga yun kasi engineer sha ng mga airplane.

At parang yung kiss ni Maya kay SC sa car e… at yung mga kisses nila lately… Parang yung ulo nila e bumabaon sa neck!

At nakakaiyak ang mga ganap ngayon kay TA at Maya.

Danial Abdullah AzraiI lost my father when my parents divorced. It was a disaster for me as I was very close to my dad. At a tender age, I was force into making decision who I should be following. Sadly as a girl and at a tender age, I was forced to follow my mom as I am a girl and it will be easier to be with mom instead of dad. I know the feeling of reconciling with your father after 15 years. As for me the moment of reconciling after 20 years was dramatic and very painful. Now tat my dad is unwell and at 73 yrs old, he certainly needed his child by his side to give him the TLC (Tender Loving Care). Till this day, not even a day where I never forget what he did to the family, vice versa but I am glad that I am here for him when he is unwell and needed me most. Sad but it is true that we need to forgive and forget..

Winnie R OntiverosOn this, a rainy evening, Ricky pulls in to the front of the café where Maya is meeting Tay Arturo. She is very eager and a bit hyper. She fidgets and wondered if Tay Arturo has made it before they did? She asked Ricky if they are late? Ricky had to calm her down. He tells her they are not late. He held her hand and told her to remember that no matter what happens he is going to be there for her. Maya took off her seat belt and said thank you to Ricky. She gave him a peck on the cheek but Richard had one more thing to say. He made sure Maya understood that he did this for her…to make her happy and if it is going to be more trouble for her…. Maya stopped him. She told him she needs to do this. Ricky nodded in agreement. He tells her that everything will be fine. With that, Maya got out of the car and into the café.

Inside she asked for the reservation under Mr. Lim. The hostess led her to the table where Tay Arturo was sitting down with his head bowed and eyes closed. He seems to be deep in prayer, probably nervous. Maya stood there watching him. Suddenly, she remembers that day when she was chasing after her father. She wanted to go with him. He turned around and told her to watch for her ice cream because it is melting. He gave her a flying kiss instead that she so happily caught and placed on her cheek. The little girl Maya said “Goodbye Tatay. Come home right away ok?” She gave him a flying kiss that he caught as well and placed it on his cheek. He had that great laugh as he said goodbye. He turned around and left. That was the last time that she ever saw her father until now.

Maya held it together as she stands there frozen in time until her eyes met his as he raises his head and sees her. He stood up slowly and asked Maya to sit down. Only then could Maya find her step again and sat down at the chair across the table from her father. Ricky watched them both from his car outside the café. When he saw Maya sit down, he backed out of the parking space and left.

At the Chibugan, there was a customer demanding for his food to Kute. Today wasn’t the day to test Kute. She is obviously not in the mood. She started to argue with the man when Nay Teresita got between them and stopped Kute from losing it. She apologized to the customer and quietly reminded Kute that they are running a business and she need not be rude to the customer. Kute calls Lino to take care of the customer for her.

Noemi KatoHay naku, nakakaiyak na namang episode! Ang dami kong niluha nito..sakit sa dibdib lalo na yong eksena ng mag-amang Mang Arturo at Maya. Ang galing-galing talagang madadala ka sa bawat eksena. Lito Pimentel is a good actor, too.

Alchie Rudasakit sa heart….sinikap huwag maiyak pero d talaga kaya….sabi nga nila time heals all wounds kaya lang minsan it takes forever to forgive kung labis ka sinaktan ng taong mahal mo….hindi talaga apply sa lahat ang forgive and forget…Maya, Mang Arturo, Nanay Teresita, Kute & Ser Chief…congrats!!!!

Hay, di ako makahinga, sikip sa dibdib…very simple scene, very realistic, very poignant. Galing ni Maya, TA too.

LETTING GO

Letting go is making the effort to finally deal with the ghost of the past head on, fully understanding the past to pave way to forgiveness, to reconciling and moving forward leaving all the emotions like resentment, bitterness and anger behind. The past is long gone, nothing can change what had happened but each time we give it a thought, and we bring it back to life again like a cloud that hangs over everyday life and old feelings haunting us all over again. Letting go of the past is to release that which no longer serves, that of the negative thoughts and feelings yet springing forward to building or rebuilding new foundation mindful of the pitfalls of the past, transforming in a way that is geared more on the positive, nourishing our soul in the process. Letting go is really not burning bridges rather it’s something internal, within us for it is changing our mindset looking a different way to process our emotions, how we view life in general… Letting go is the start of the healing process en route to forgiveness, to reconciliation and moving forward… As we let go, the past will only serve as an important lesson, a constant reminder of things that really matter.

Unknowingly, Maya started letting go of the pain of her past long before she had the chance to sit down with her Tatay for she had long started the process of healing when she helped restore the relationship of Richard with his kids. Her desire for the Lims to reestablish and strengthen the relationship between father and kids somehow gave her an outlet to start her healing, to let go of her ill feelings for her Tatay. Seeing the Lims’ bond stronger, filled with love, respect, understanding and openness gave her that chance to let go and opened up her heart and the love and longing for her father. Thru the Lims, she was able to experience that special father-child relationship that had been robbed from her and Kute because of TA’s disappearance. And when that relationship was threatened with her budding relationship with Richard, she was willing to sacrifice her own feelings at the thought of the kids’ relationship with their Dad be jeopardized because of her. And when Richard and DR had a fight over her relationship with Richard, she focused on Richard making amends with his father and did everything she could possibly had done to ensure father and son reconciled. And when the time came for a face-to-face meeting with her Tatay, she exuded mixed emotions but more on the excitement of seeing her Tatay and finally getting the answers she longed to hear. She had been apprehensive in the beginning, but hearing TA describing her vividly the last time she saw him, her dress, her look, what she was holding and learning that her image was the first and last TA would see before closing his eyes every single day, brought her back to that special moment she also had been keeping… and all the protective walls collapsed, she hugged her Tatay and cried her hearts out letting out that yearning for her beloved father. Both had let go of all the hurts and forgiveness reigned in their hearts.

For Kute, she buried her resentment, anger, hate and even her longing for her Tatay that when she learned from NT of his reappearance, all those pent up emotions came rushing back that she had to vent and let it all out before she explodes. And yet much as she wanted to let it all out she had to restrain herself for the sake of NT that she had no alternate course but lashed out to their annoying customer. When she was stopped by NT, she found a way to release her emotions thru washing the dishes. NT, wanting to pacify Cristina Rose, joined and helped her and together they released their well-kept emotions that had been buried for 15 long years. Seeing them trying to release all those emotions they kept might just be the first step to their healing process.

The truth is, unless we let go, unless we forgive ourselves, unless we forgive the person who hurt us, unless we forgive the situation and unless we realize that the past is long gone and over, we really cannot move forward. There’s this saying – “The emotion that can break our heart is sometimes the very one that heals it…” And sometimes, letting go means realizing that some people are, yes, may had been part of our history, but may be part of our destiny… or NOT. The choice is ours to take.

Nakakaiyak naman ang scene ng magama sa lobby ng condo. Wala talagang room sa puso ni Maya ang hatred.

Zaida Schmichwow galing ng episode…kaiyak din! Teka sinong nagrereklamo na dragging na ito… eh di ba ito ang gusto namin..forever and ever ang serye… natural kailangan dragging!!! Kung sino ang naiinis sa pagiging dragging eh di huwag manood! Simple!!! basta kami kahit idrag pa yan ng milya-milya go pa rin ako, what do you think mga kabisig?

Galing naman talaga ng show na to. Walang sigawan, walang ingay, walang hysteria. But the hurt, the pain, the longing, the sorrow, na convey nila, tagos sa dibdib. Maga na mata ko.

JR RWOWWWW!!!! The story, the script, the delivery and most of all the performance are far beyond my expectation. The forthright depiction of the longing between father and daughter and its realistic approach to the situation has left this episode an indelible mark in our hearts.

The scene between and Maya and Mang Arturo is unpretentious and yet poignant that I can’t help but feel grateful that I have a father all my life who’d been there for me through thick and thin.

The scene between Nanay Teresita and Kute washing the dishes together is such powerful portrayal of unloading their heavy hearts. Bravo creative team for this remarkable act of two extraordinary artists.

The scene of Richard hugging Nikki and Abby is a significant reminder how a parent’s love for his children knows no boundaries.

What can I say BCWMH, I’m deeply fortunate to have witnessed your beautiful story.

Winnie R OntiverosAt the café, the waiter handed them a menu. Maya asked her father what he wanted but he said he isn’t hungry. Maya told the waiter that they would call him when they are ready to order. After the waiter left, there was a brief silence. Tay Arturo thanked Maya for wanting to meet with him. Maya thanked him as well for obliging her and Richard. Tay Arturo told Maya that her fiancé loves her a lot. Maya nodded. Tay Arturo asked how is she and Christina Rose doing? Maya told Tay Arturo that they are fine. Instead of going abroad, they decided to open a small business instead. Tay Arturo said that is better than being apart from her son. (That seems ironic Tay Arturo.) Maya paused a little and then she agreed. She said that was the agreement they made…to stay together and do their best…to remain “kapit bisig”. Tay Arturo smiled and was surprised that Maya still remembered that term “kapit-bisig”. Maya asked him why? He said it originated from him. He told her the story that when they needed to repair the house, he would tease Nanay Teresita. He told her that the house would not topple down because all the termites are kapit-bisig. Maya smiled to know that is where that term “kapit-bisig” came from. Tay Arturo even demonstrated the kapit bisig gesture. Then the smile on Maya’s face faded a little. She asked Tay Arturo “What happened? Why did you give up on kapit bisig?” Tay Arturo’s face saddened. “I don’t have an explanation other than I made a mistake, I was tempted, and committed a sin toward your mother.” Tay Arturo replied. “Do you have another family?” Maya asked. Tay Arturo shook his head. “No I don’t. Maybe it is karma. After a while, she left me.” He answered. “Why didn’t you come back?” Maya asked him. “My daughter I wanted to come back so badly. I tried but I felt that out of respect for your mom, I chose to just stay away.” Tay Arturo said. “Why didn’t you let Nanay make that decision?” Maya asked. “We waited for you Tay.” She said. “Anak forgive me.” All he could do is beg for Maya’s forgiveness. With so much sadness and a bit of bitterness, Maya told Tay Arturo that of all the years that passed, they never stopped hoping that one day he would return. When her and Kute were young, every morning they would race to Nanay’s room hoping that one day they would find him home. Maya told him that when someone knocked at the door, Kute and her would race hoping that it was he at the door. Until one day they just stopped. Maybe because they realized that he wasn’t coming back anymore. Tay Arturo couldn’t immediately find the words to say. He fumbled and his voice would not come out. Finally he was able to speak and holding back his tears he said, “There isn’t anything that I could do to correct my mistakes.”

Kute is so distraught over the thought of her father’s return. She is not in a good mood. She needed a diversion to calm herself so she started washing the stacks of dishes from the Chibugan. Nanay Teresita came to check up on her. Seeing Kute struggle and knowing she feels the same, she started rinsing off the dishes that Kute washed. Without any word the two just kept on working with all their might. (You know when we are stressed out, sometimes we need an outlet and this is Kute and Nanay Teresita’s outlet.)

Maya got up from the table. Tay Arturo once more thanked Maya for the opportunity to meet with her. Maya asked “Don’t you want to talk to Nanay and Kute?” “Maybe the right question is whether they still want to see me?” He replied. “You’ll never know. Maybe their hearts would soften.” Maya said. “It’s enough for me to know that you are alright and well. I don’t want to further cause any trouble in your quiet lives.” He said. This time Maya lost it. In between tears she asked him, “Tay in fifteen years you never thought of coming back? Has it ever cross you mind to return to us? What if you came back and we took you back? It was time wasted.” She said. “Maya, that is over. The things that I have lost I could not get back anymore. I could no longer correct the mistakes I made.” Tay Arturo explained to Maya. “The things you lost, we lost too. And your mistakes, we could have erased them.” She argued. “But just like you said, that’s over.” Maya took something from her purse and turned around and walked away. Tay Arturo followed her out the door.

(just like the Sept 17 episode were Maya saw the putok batok sa dining table and she remembered Mamang at napaiyak din siya kay SC) bravo kay Jodi and Lito Pimentel ang galing niyo!!! tapos bigla akong na-shock noong nakita ko si Ricky nasa loob pala ng condo ni Ehman…kakatuwa ka talaga Ricardo kahit umiiyak ako nakuha mo pang mang-gulat…paano kaya siya nakapasok…(for sure ehman was there to let him in or Maya gave her a key…joke lang po). In fairness, siya ang nagtimpla ng kape nila ni Maya ang sweet mo talaga SC buti na lang at may silbe iyang malaki mong biceps for giving comfort in hugging Maya in her saddest times and most esp. to your kids in giving them love and warmth. To NT you can tell na she’s longing to see and talk to Arturo kaya Kute pagbigyan mo na ang nanay mo…hindi mo maiaalis yun sa kanya at kahit hindi man lang sila nagkatuluyan at least may closure na at makahingi ng kapatawaran si Arturo sa inyo after 15 years of abandonment at kahit hindi agad nila mapatawad at least nasabi ni Arturo ang gusto niyang iparating sa mag-ina niya 🙂 Good Day to all!!!

Today’s episode is tear jerker, naiyak ako especially when TA mentioned how Maya looked like the last time they seen each other… and i so love SC/Ricky for being there for his fiancee…  so touching din ang father-daughters bonding ng Lim family, lalo ko na-miss si Luke… and now we know the history of kapit-bisig.

Mary Janylyn Ca�AdaHeartbreaking and touching episode for today. Superb acting of Jodi and LP. Super emotional when Maya and
Mang Arturo ay magkayakap outside the elevator. Damang dama nang dalawa ang emotion of
pain, love, longing for 15 years. SC is right, Maya’s forgiveness is more than enough and what MA needs for
now. This is just my opinion, but I have a feeling na mawala si MA, maybe he is very sick. I hope, I am wrong.

I am sure deep inside NT still loves and have the heart to forgive MA. Until now, she celebrates their wedding
anniversary every year for the past 15 years. Lets see how the writers will tackle the forgiveness epi for
NT and Kute.

The scene for the power hugs between Maya and MA, SC and the kids and SC and Maya made me cry like
a river. See, what power hugs can do.

I love the scene too where SC prepared coffee for Maya. Ikaw na talaga SC, wala na akong say…..

Can somebody please tell me what was inside the little bottle/capsule that MA gave to Maya? Just
curious and I am sure it has some meaning…..

Tess DowTwo days of crying, last Friday and more so on todays episode. I am having difficulty coming around myself and give reviews ha ha ha! BCWMH is taking me into the world of Maya instead of just being an observant. Be Careful With My Heart Please!!

Anyway, it is good to see Maya in her beautiful self. After several days of looking at her sick, my first reaction upon seeing her on her white dress was how beautiful she looks which I thought SC would do the same….which kinda surprised me when he didn’t 😦 I love today’s episode. Tatay Arturo was honest with his feelings. I am happy for Maya getting back with his dad. Superb acting! The scene with Kute and Nanay T washing the dishes to vent their anger was not something I would have thought of doing that’s why I love it!!! I love that Nanay T understood Kute’s anger and just joined her in the back kitchen without saying much.

I also love the fact that SC was at the apartment waiting for Maya and them talking about forgiveness. When he said some people takes a decade before they forgive is true…some may just not even forgive or COULDN’T forgive but perhaps the intensity of the anger will eventually subsides in time. Everything heals with TIME. SC’s acting is so natural in today’s episode especially when he was with his children and with Maya on the couch.

I don’t have more to say but GOOD JOB!!!

TA: Sa akin galing yun, noon kasing hindi pa namin napapagawa yun bahay lagi kong binibiro ang Nanay mo kaya hindi nagigiba yun bahay dahil kapit-bisig ang mga anay.

Maya: Ahihi doon po pala galing yun.

TA: Di ba nga kapit-bisig.

Maya: Ano pong nangyari bakit po kayo bumitaw sa kapit-bisig?

TA: Wala akong maipliwanag…maliban sa nagkamali ako, natukso, nagkasala ako sa Nanay mo.

Maya: May pamilya na po ba kayo?

TA: Wala, siguro karma iniwan din ako.

Maya: Bakit hindi po kayo bumalik?

Linda BernardoTwo days of tear jerking episodes. What an experience. We are at the peak of negative emotional roller coaster ride. Heart wrenching moments are between the conversation of Maya and Mang Arturo especially at the condo lobby near the elevator. Here is where I lost it big time. I cry a river here not just a bucket of tears.
This episode shows the situation of two fathers’ status of their family lives. Ricky is very grateful what he has at the moment. He has a family to come home to everyday. The more he appreciates his family and would not do anything to jeopardize it. Mang Arturo’s predicament made absolutely sure Maya’s future is in good hands with Ricky. He would not trade his happiness (his family) for anything in the world. It is a lesson learned from somebody else experience.

Now that Maya heard the truth from her father, it is now NT and Kute’s turn. That remains to be seen.

Maya feels sorry for her dad for she knows NT and Kute will have difficulty or will ever forgive Mang Arturo. Time only will tell.

Ricky lends his wisdom to Maya about forgiveness. Her forgiveness is more than enough for his Tatay and he gets more than what he hopes for. Those words made Maya somehow less apprehensive.

THE TEASER: It looks like our roller coaster ride is going down and up again heading towards happy lala land. Two days of tears is more than enough my heart can bear. So BCWMH, please be careful with my heart.

Winnie R OntiverosAt the mansion, Ricky got a dit di dit dit from Maya telling him that Tay Arturo is going to take her home. Richard was going to his room when he changed his mind. He headed out the door instead. At the condo lobby in front of the elevator, Maya asked Tay Arturo if he wants to come in for a while. He refused. He said it is late and she needs to rest. Maya agreed. Tay Arturo told Maya that he hoped that he was able to answer all of her questions? He said his goodbye and turned around to leave. But Maya had more questions. She asked him something that made him stop dead on his tracks. Maya asked, “Did you ever stopped loving us? Do you ever think of how I thought of you?” “White sleeveless blouse, red stripped skirt, hair in braids, yellow slippers, a mixture of purple and yellow ice cream melting on a wafer cone.” Tay Arturo described Maya the last time he saw her. “That was what you were wearing, that’s how you looked like, that was what you were holding the last time I saw you before I left. Anak, every time I closed my eyes, you are the last image I see in my mind. Anak, I never stopped loving all of you. Even if I have no more right to.” Tay Arturo said in tears. Maya couldn’t help it…She called out to her father and embraced him. They were both in tears. Tay Arturo sincerely asked for forgiveness. “I am so sorry. I am sorry.” He said with much tears. They both hugged so tightly and when they let go, Tay Arturo gave her a small token that I will call “time in a bottle”. He asked her never to forget him. He turned around and left. Maya looked down at the bottle and just cried her eyes out.

She walked to her unit to find Ricky waiting for her. He asked how it went? Without a word Maya embraced her fiancé. At the Chibugan Nay Teresita and Kute finished washing the stacks of plates and calderos to Lino’s surprise. Nay Teresita’s hair was in array, Kute was sweaty. They were both dead tired but feeling a bit better. Nay Teresita blames it on Kute’s father. Kute agrees that it is her husband’s fault. They looked at each other not knowing what to say.

Maya showed Ricky the small “time in a bottle” that her father gave her. Ricky asked her what happened? Maya told him that Tay Arturo said that he made a big mistake but that he still loves them. Ricky thought that is a good thing. Maya said she doesn’t know. Ricky asked why? Maya said that when they were talking she could see the fifteen years that he was remorseful but the sad part is that he could not correct those mistakes anymore. Maya thought that even if she forgives him, nothing would change. When he left, they were hurt. Ricky asked Maya if she has forgiven him? Maya said it is hard to be mad at him. It is hard not to forgive him. Ricky gets it. He tells Maya it is because she still loves him. Maya said yes but she does not know if Nanay and Kute could still forgive him. Ricky reminds Maya that forgiveness does not come easy. Some others take decades before they could forgive the person that hurt them. Maya added that sometimes, because of the deep cuts that they received, they are unable to render forgiveness. Ricky concludes that only time could tell if Nanay and Kute would be able to forgive him. Maya thought that maybe she felt sorry for her father because he looked so sad. Ricky told Maya what he thinks. “I think your forgiveness is more than enough for your Dad. It was more than what he hoped for.” Maya sat closer to her loving fiancé and laid her head on his shoulder while he comforted her sad heart.

– Maya anak salamat ulit sa pagkakataon na ibinigay mo sa akin ha?

Maya: Hindi nyo po ba gustong makausap si Nanay o si Kute?

TA: Siguro mas tamang tanong kung gusto pa nila akong makita.

Maya: Malay nyo naman po, lumambot ang puso nila.

TA: sapat na sa akin na malaman na nasa maayos kayo ayoko ng bulabugin pa ang buhay ninyo.

Maya: Tay sa loob po ba ng labing limang taon hindi ninyo po naisipan bumalik?
Hindi ninyo po naisipan bumalik sa amin? Paano kung bumalik kayo tapos tinanggap namin kayo? sayang po eh… Paano po kung?

TA: Maya… tapos na yun yun mga nawala sa akin hindi ko na maibabalik, yun mga pagkakamali ko hindi ko na mapupuksa. (tama ba?)

Maya: Yun mga nawala po sa inyo nawala din po sa amin at yun mga pagkakamali po ninyo kami sana ang nagbura pero katulad nga po ng sinabi ninyo tapos na po yun eh.

Her forgiveness…….. his Tatay to her Tatay….. I changed it it before I hit post, still . But anyway, I tried to change it at the comment section, it did not let me . So, I log out and used another browser. Before I was able to do it, made a comment from my own thread from the same browser, before my laptop crashed last week . I was out for two days last week because of technical/hardware problem.

FYI; For those who may may encounter the same technical difficulties.
I used to get in touch with TFC tech everytime (very often) early on. TFC tech instructed me to clear the browsing history. TFC tech installed my second browser…… This is what I learned the hard way on my own. Once I posted my reviews and/or comment using one browser, once I log out and log in on the same browser and use it again it wont let me post again. I have to go to another browser and do my posting, commenting there. I go back back and forth. I have IE and Goggle Chrome. For instance, if I log in using IE and log out, I will use Goggle Chrome the next time whether on the same day or at a different day. It is a hassle especially when I just posted and do a comment on my own thread for correction or additional pov, it wont let me.. I have not tried making comments on on somebody else thread yet. I will soon find out….. Now I’ll hit post button and then I will comment on this log in

As I said in yesterday’s episode..there is no forgiveness without tears. The scene in front of the elevator when Maya asked her Tatay, kung tumigil siyang mahalin sila, is where her forgiveness started. Such a touching scene, na kahit pusong bato ka, mapapaiyak ka talaga!

Winnie R OntiverosRichard makes it back to the mansion. He walks upstairs and at the top of the stairs he hears Abby and Nikki still laughing out loud. In Nikki’s room he peeked at them. He asked why are they still up? The two said they both couldn’t sleep (It looks odd to see these two without Luke…I don’t know if I could ever get used to it.) Richard took the computer and turned it off and told them they had to sleep. The two asked him if he could stay with them until they fall asleep? Richard said they wouldn’t all fit in Nikki’s bed but that he would give them a hug. And the three embraced. Then Abby said they would not be able to sleep if he keeps hugging them. Richard told them that he missed them both so much. Nikki said he just saw them before he left to see Ate Maya. Richard told them he is their father and he would miss them even if they just went to school. That warmed Nikki and Abby’s heart. The embraced tightly again. Richard hardly wants to let go of them. He told them he loves them. He told them that he wouldn’t know what to do without the three of them. (I am glad he still included Luke). He also said that he wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world. “Really Dad?” Abby asked. “Really.” Richard replied. He tucked them in to bed and watch them fall asleep.

She said that she is worried for Maya. She knows that Maya wants to invite her father to the wedding. Kute asked Nay Tere if Maya said that? Nay Tere said no but she could feel it. Ricky told Maya to maybe skip work because she isn’t fully recovered yet. “Mr. Lim I think that is abusive. I might get kicked out of Time Airways.” Maya answered. “Good, then you could work for me.” Richard said. “I don’t want to because they might think you are favoring me.” Maya said. “But it’s true, you are my favorite.” Richard said. (Weeeeee! Super Kilig is Baaaaaccccckkkkk!!!!!)

What about the wedding… too long… After the merriage, writers can deal with Maya and RL new status, family life. Dealing with the changes and differences. like their Age gap(selosan), career vs. family, RL phobia (when his wife died on plance crash, we did’nt exactly see how he handle that) writers, give it a scene(Maya’s plane will crash landing, she will survive but RL will get too worry that he will try to stop Maya working as an FA).how Maya will help him overcome his phobia. And other characters life. BCWMH dont end yet, theres alot of message to learn in this teleserye for the viewers to hang on.

Water has always had a spiritual significance. It is symbolic of our relationship with God, carrying the images of renewal, promise and hope. In fact, the Bible refers to God as the Living Water. Throughout the Old Testament, water is used for cleansing and purification.

In literature, water is a universal and prominent symbol for change. In our story, it signifies a turning point. The creative writers portray water as a symbol for change in today’s episode.

As Maya arrives at the restaurant where she is to meet her father, it is raining. There is no mistaking that this water pouring from above signifies hope and a new beginning. Immediately, the words to a song sung at church come to mind. The song goes like this:

“Rain down, rain down, rain down your love on your people
Rain down, rain down, rain down your love God of life.
God of creation, we long for Your Truth
You are the water of life that we thirst
Grant that Your Love and Your Peace touch our hearts
All of our hope is in You.”

In San Nicolas, Kute and Nanay Teresita wash dishes, pots and pans. The action is symbolic of what they truly want to do for themselves, as well. They want to be rid of all the gunk, filth, grime, crud, muck and soil that have accumulated in their hearts for the last fifteen years. They too want some cleansing inside. Granted, they are wrestling with their emotions but, deep down, they too want what Maya wants: answers to their questions, a chance to pour out the bitterness they’ve kept inside, express their anger and hear Mang Arturo ask them to forgive him. Only then can they let go. Only then can they be free. Only then can they be thoroughly washed and be truly cleansed. Only then can they experience genuine peace of mind. Maya has done it. It is just a matter of time that they will too.

Maya and Tatay Arturo conclude their reunion with an embrace. For him, it is full of gratitude for the grace his daughter is giving him. For her, it is filled with the love she has always saved in her heart for him. Both are in tears, tears of joy. Crying, after all, is but another way to cleanse one’s heart and soul. Tears are essentially the human body’s waterworks on display.

Christopher Morley, a prolific American writer once said, “Heavy hearts, like heavy clouds in the sky, are best relieved by the letting of a little water.”

Una sa lahat, malaki po ang isyu ko sa camera shots this episode, guys, tutok lang dapat sa mga kamay lalo pa kung ganoong kaiksi ang hemline! Hihihihihi Mula sa caru hanggang sa sofa, ilabas ang BTS nyan!!!  Ako ang nakikiliti sa suot ni Mayabels juiceko! Nakakadistract naman ang legs, ayaw ko ng maglagay ng ebidensya!  At haaaa. Bakit ganun, sinabi lang ni Maya yung name na Richard para na akong inaasnan sa kilig!

Ang galing galing talaga ng buong cast neto! Ang galing ni Kute, grabe, pati ako natakot sa kanya sa sobrang galing niya umarte. Syempre si Nanay Teresita din!  And tama nga ang choice na si Lito Pimentel ang gawing Tatay Arturo. GALING niya. Lalo na si Jodi, nakakaproud siya, kahit kakagaling lang niya ng sakit. At yung sa teaser, in all fairness, hindi ko naman naisip na, oo nga noh, kailangan na pala bumalik ni Maya sa trabaho! So eto na naman tayo, titira na naman si Ricky sa airport! I kinda miss Miss Corinne na din.

When I heard this sis, naisip ko na bagay rin nga talagang tawagin niya na Richard si SC!

Kay Amoromg…tissue tissue tissue..i cried a lot in this episode. the meeting of maya and mang arturo is just so nakakaiyak.and i cried really hard,on the elevator scene at the condo. I really felt the longingness of father and daughter..how jam delivered her lines was so effective that it came to a poin sumasakit na ang ulo ko sa kakaiyak..and when the both hugged each other and cried..i cried with them..what an episode!

and the gesture of today;s episode is HUG/EMBRACE.
1.maya and tatay arturo’s hug at the condo,was tissue drenched with tears scence.
2.and oh m gee…when “ser chief” hugged maya …it was sooooo REAL…it was a tight reassuring,comforting hug…with mini pats…ayyyyy..that was such a sweet,kilig scence..( gusto ko na talagang palitan si jodi as maya..sa scene na yan…i wanted to scream..jodi…pwede ako muna…geeesh..ang mga muskels

Grabe ang convo nina maya & TA. Nagtitigan pa lang naluluha na ko. Palibhasa parehong batikang artista na. Mas nadala ako sa acting ni TA. Yung lips nya gumagalaw na pero walang words na lumalabas. 2x ko nakita yan: one was nung he was about to say “walang paliwanag…” and 2 dun sa “patawad….” Kita yung tipong speechless or parang finding the right words to say.

Iba talaga ang bcwmh pag holiday… pasabog talaga! This time pasabog ng luha!

Sa episode ngayon, mas lalo akong humanga sa creative team ng BCWMH. Tama nga yung sinabi nila sa CLP na mahirap gumawa ng teleserye na rom-com/light drama, especially with a concept like that, at ipakita ito sa hindi pangkaraniwang paraan.

Kung tutuusin, mas naging madali sana sa kanilang ipaintindi ang pinanggagalingan ng mga karakter if sinimulan nila ang kwento sa childhood ni Maya o kaya naman nung mabiyudo si Ser Chief. Pero hindi ganito ang ginawa nila, at ang galing- achieve na achieve pa rin nila ang pagpukaw ng damdamin ng mga viewers.

At ang galing rin nila para mapalitaw ang overall effect na positibo, good vibes, nakakatawa at nakaka-in love ang teleseryeng ito dahil kung tutuusin rin, ang bigat ng premise ng kwento: si Maya iniwan ng Tatay nila at si Ser Chief naman, namatayan ng asawa.

So, kaya pala talagang mas at ease na ang mga eksena is because wala na bantay???

Yes, sis. He confirmed na hindi na raw sumasama sa taping. I think since middle of this year pa. (Kaya siguro ok na yung scenes ng mag-partner mula noon? ) The only time ata na sumama ulit was during the taping of the Tagaytay episodes.

Hi sis jeep, depende na rin siguro kung medyo magiging civil na sila ni NT at least. Touching ang scene nilang mag-ama. Kahit distracted ako sa panonood. Ramdam na ramdam pa rin ang emosyon nila. Kaiyak talaga. Galing nina Jodi, Lito P, also Sylvia S and Aiza.

Una sa lahat, malaki po ang isyu ko sa camera shots this episode, guys, tutok lang dapat sa mga kamay lalo pa kung ganoong kaiksi ang hemline! Hihihihihi Mula sa caru hanggang sa sofa, ilabas ang BTS nyan!!!  Ako ang nakikiliti sa suot ni Mayabels juiceko! Nakakadistract naman ang legs, ayaw ko ng maglagay ng ebidensya!  At haaaa. 

Bakit ganun, sinabi lang ni Maya yung name na Richard para na akong inaasnan sa kilig!

Kung si Maya ay di pa sanay tawagin si Ser Chief ng ‘Richard’, si Jodi rin naman mukhang hindi sanay na tawaging ‘Richard’ si RY. Chenes (partner or handsome? ) kasi ang tawag nya e. Napapansin ko nga pag may interviews si Jodi, parang napapalunok pa sya na ewan when she refers to RY as ‘Richard’.

Okay lang naman siguro yan di ba? Since Jods naman doesnt call RY Richard eh, Chenes talaga tawag niya!

Ayyy napanood ko pala sa The Buzz, one of the lead stars ng isang movie was asked kung paano ba daw yun sa isang eksena, paano nila iaarte na in love sila dun sa partner nila and once daw ba na sumigaw na ng cut, in a snap mawawala ba yung pakiramdam na mahal na mahal mo dapat yung partner mo. Then this guy said na, ayun, kaya nga daw the actors need na mag internalize, ng motivation chuchu tapos sabi pa niya, hindi daw basta nawawala yung pakiramdam pag nacut na, it takes a while bago sila makawala sa emotion! Ayun lang naman. Hihihi

There must really be a Book 2 as we all have been hoping for. With the relatively high and consistent ratings, the awards and recognitions the show has been receiving, management must have seen it fit to go on with the show.
