I truly admire Jodi Sta. Maria. Ang dami nyang na-tape na phone convo. Just shows her dedication sa work at sa show.

Zel MDILEMMA

A dilemma is a problem offering two possibilities, neither of which is acceptable. Some describe this as “Finding oneself impaled upon the horns of dilemma”, referring to the sharp points of a bull’s horns which can mean uncomfortable and dangerous or sometimes the term is used as a rhetorical device to mean accepting either A or B with A and B representing propositions that leads to some further conclusion.

As Niccolo came to full realization of his true feelings for Nikki, he was in a precarious dilemma knowing that Nikki is still very young and she is Luke’s younger sister which will jeopardize his friendship with his best friend. He had been hiding this new-found feeling and making an effort to make himself scarce to Luke even avoiding him if he can. But with such growing predicament and pent up feelings for his best friend’s sister, he unintentionally revealed his well-kept secret to Iñigo relieving him of keeping it to himself and not being able to talk about his dilemma. He shared his concerns on how to deal with Luke, Nikki not to mention Amiel’s seemingly fast track courtship that Iñigo advised him to deal with his problems one after the other so he won’t be spreading himself too thinly and for him to deal first with Luke, then Nikki and Amiel.

Similarly, Nikki is facing her own dilemma with Niccolo and Amiel. While she has been harboring secret feelings for Niccolo all this time, she finds it hard to ignore Amiel’s sweet gestures not to mention his consistent ways of giving her attention including Abby as well that she’s actually starting to welcome such gestures and he’s slowly starting to grow on her, anticipating his presence when he’s not around yet becoming more distracted, terrified, feeling awkward and uncomfortable when he’s around. Adding to her dilemma is the fact that she is so conflicted and unable to compose herself and she’s left with no one to unload her burdens since she couldn’t seek her Ate Maya’s help while she’s still sick. In addition, Luke is becoming suspicious of Amiel’s actions and motives that he is doubly attentive and observant of her, always on the lookout of her activities, and increasingly asking questions about who’s with her, whose texting or calling her.

Problems, conflicts will always be part of our lives in any given situation at any given time and we need to accept that life is defined more by its contrasts than its similarities; more by its risks than the many securities for it all depends on how we look at things, how we look at events and circumstances… and how we react to these stimuli that beset us. Truth is, our finest moments most likely will take place when we are deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, unfulfilled, simply conflicted and torn. For it is in moments like these that we are pushed by our discomfort that we are likely to step up, get out of our ruts and start searching for the right answers and be driven to seek out solutions.

When we are confronted with dilemma, problems or opposition, may we embrace them, accept them and not be afraid of opposition… always be reminded that a kite rises against, not with the wind. And those difficulties are meant to stir, not discourage but rather to grow stronger with every conflict and be more courageous with the unfamiliar.

Distractions are things that usually take one’s focus from the primary object of attention to something else. It could be caused by external interruptions or internal concerns. In this episode, the creative team showcases our characters in various states of distraction.

Richard wants to focus his time and energy on the wedding preparations but Maya’s sudden illness derailed his plans. He misses her and he wants to take care of her. However, for fear that she may have something contagious, she bars him from visiting her. Thankfully, he has a welcome distraction to keep him occupied. He chooses to get busy looking for Maya’s missing father. With their wedding scheduled in just a few weeks, he does not have a lot of time to locate him. However, he knows that discovering his whereabouts will make his bride happy. Finding him in time for the wedding will definitely make her joy complete.

Nicolo has finally acknowledged that he has a crush on Nikki. This summons a mixed bag of emotions from him. His attraction for Nikki excites him. However, he feels that if this secret gets out, his friendship with her brother Luke is going to be on the line and he risks facing his wrath. Not only that, he also fears being excommunicated from the Lims. They essentially treat him as if he is a family member. So, he tries to resolve his predicament by essentially focusing his time and energy in his school work. But concentrating on the task is quite impossible for him. Moreover, the thought that Amiel, a guy who he suspects also has a crush on her, may already be gaining advantage over him for Nikki’s attention, is sending him into a tailspin.

Nikki resolves to focus her attention and energy on the play that she is directing. Presently, she is feeling confused. Initially, thoughts of Nicolo sends a chill right up her spine. In fact, she thought of no one else. However, lately, she finds Amiel occupying her thoughts more and more. She finds him both charming and irritating, which interestingly are words she also used to describe Nicolo. She finds him irritating because he is persistently determined and charming because he is admirably consistent. However, it seems that Amiel’s consistency and persistency in pursuing her is growing on her. She finds herself slowly welcoming his attention and she is starting to miss his presence when he is not around. She is unsure whether she likes him for who he is or, she likes him for the attention that he is giving her. In other words, she is unsure if she really finds him attractive or she is attracted to him because he finds her attractive.

To his credit, Amiel, although focused on his objective of gaining Nikki’s attention, is careful not to lay it on too thick on her. He essentially gives her gentle reminders throughout the day that he is patiently and diligently waiting for her on the side. He puts no pressure on her and he gives her no deadline. He primarily puts into application the Pinoy’s traditional way of courtship. It seems that he is willing to wait, however long it takes Nikki to decide. If it takes Nikki until she graduates from high school to entertain his feelings for her, he is totally alright with it. He is not in any rush. He is just content that he is courting her, happy to be around her and willing to give her the time she needs for her to get to know him and for him to feel comfortable with him.

Today’s installment is quite an effective distraction from what is truly happening in the real lives of the main characters of our drama. Maya’s absence is creating havoc in the scheduled scenes that the production team is planning to shoot. Most of the scenes require her presence. Nevertheless the team works hard to maintain its standards and is doing its best to maintain the demand of quality shows that they are known for. The idea of focusing the camera lens on the teens seems to be the most logical step in order to distract the viewers’ attention from Maya’s absence. In so doing, they are still able to deliver the “spine tingling sensations” and the “chills and thrills” that their viewers have come to expect from each episode, albeit, the source of the kilig is no longer Richard and Maya. And it works! The temporary diversion works and the viewers’ clamor for more kilig is momentarily sated.

Congratulations BCWMH! Here’s to you for creatively surmounting the challenges that come your way!

In my rush to post this morning, I failed to edit myself. I am so embarrassed after I read your rejoinders and you give me credit “for explaining it so well” when I know that I didn’t make sense in one of the sentences. hahahahaha. For this oversight, my apologies. But here is what the sentence should have read. I have highlighted the revised word.

“He is just content that he is courting her, happy to be around her and willing to give her the time she needs for her to get to know him and for HER to feel comfortable with him.”

T’aR and Winnie, I am happy to know that I have been successful in what I had set out to do. I wanted for us to get excited on where I believe the creative team is taking us with the bagets. We notice that with the wedding plan set, there is going to be a sense of normalcy getting established among the older characters. This leaves then time for the parents to supervise what is really going on in the lives of their children. Hence the emotional roller coaster that Nikki is going through with her handsome princes. I initially even thought that Inigo was also one of Nikki’s possible admirers but I guess I am wrong. The kilig will continue to be delivered by the married couple as we watch Maya respond and reciprocate Richard’s amorous approaches and ardent expression of his love for her. It will definitely be well worth the anticipation as we watch naive and virgin Maya respond, receive, react, reciprocate the more experienced and definitely hungry Richard. Waaaaaaahahahahahahahahahaha

In addition, we will have more kilig delivered by the bagets as they explore and discover what “young love”, in all its nuances, is all about. In other words, we will have kiligs coming from both ends. The major league and the minor league.

I think the writers overcompensated today for the rushed patchwork yesterday. I don’t know if I’m just overly sensitive today, but at three points of the story the hairs on my head stood on end. Yes, that’s right…hairs…each one of them stood up individually in recognition of the revelations. That has never ever happened to me before, not while fan-gheling or even in real life.

The first was when Ricky told Maya na malalaki na mga anak mo. This is it, undeniably a major life change is in store for our Mahal Na Princesa.

The second instance was when Ricky said he was going to Cebu. I quickly concluded that again, this is it, life will never be the same for Maya and the remaining Dela Rosas; for better or worse, the story of the most romantic place in the world is in for a major re-write.

And the last hair-raising moment was when Ricky acknowledged to MF that he would have to let Luke go if he wanted to because it would be good for him. Again a major life altering decision is at hand…this time for Luke.

Ewan ko ba, baka naman kailangang-kailangan ko nang magpa-schedule ng biennial physical ko. Baka pumipintong hypertenshen lang ito! But the way today’s plot and dialog were written and the way the actors put them to life truly moved me, kahit pa voice acting lang si Mahal Na Princesa.

Vonna VerGood luke will do something i just dont like amiel too pushy nikky is just too young to think about boys, much better just crushes like nicky (nicolo) hes better me conscience na nikky is too young for that matter and he really controll his feelings means me respeto yung amiel ma porma nah atribido pah! Good luck nicolo mas bagay kayo ni nikky sana itigil na yung pagiging aggresive ni amiel, so inis at boring sa istorya, hey nikky be smart, protect yourself not your kuya or somebody else, thanks nga pala the network came back , i almost had an asthma attack hirap huminga kung walang tfc sa panahon ngayon daming chaos. Thanks to all who make it right! Make it more better coz life is short, might as well get the best of it and having tfc is one that contribute to make me alive!

And this all dispels my gloom of the night before, and leaves me hopeful that BCWMH will continue to air waaaaay, waaaaay beyond December. There’s just no reason why the BCWMH dream team can’t pull off the next hundred years with finesse and charm.

Syempre as much as possible, gusto ko isa lang itong plot to highlight SC’s faith in Luke and para madevelop ang Nic-Nik while Luke is checking out the university in SG, pero in the end, he would decide to stay. Hoping ako na the need to look after his siblings (and possibly a new love) will make him decide to just stay. He can learn the business naman here and just take a short course in SG.

Sana rin hindi ito sign ng nalalapit na pagtatapos ng show, and that this is the ending the writers would want to give Luke. Double whammy naman yun.

Pero, if talagang papupuntahin ang character ni Luke sa SG, may iba akong magandang pangyayari na naaamoy… BCWMH extension.

-Either Jerome has another project and has to be temporarily pulled out from the show dahil maeextend pa ito (At least di sya tuluyang mawawala at pwedeng bumalik as regular)
-Or that this plot will be used as a transition to the Book 2, na parang nagbigay ng hint sina RY and JSM dati na may time lapse (If ganito ang mangyayari, di natin mararamdaman ang pag-alis ni Luke sa SG.)

Evelyn DuncanThumbs up BCWMH team you made it. Even with absence of the two important characters the team still manage to give us a good show just by using
the stars voices. Get well soon Jodi and Aiza, and I am giving this stars for both of you by letting them use your voices to complete the message of the
show to us. Both of you shows your dedication to your job thumbs up for both of you. I wonder what SC found out about Maya’s father, I hope it is a good
one.

I do hope na yung pinaka-una kong sinabi ang mangayayari… na di matutuloy si Luke. His role may not be as colorful as the other characters pero as the Kuya, very vital ang magagawa nya. I think mas maraming lessons ang maibabahagi if his character stays. Letting go of a child may not always be in the form of physical distance kaya pwede itong ipakita without Luke going to SG.
Although sinabi ni Luke sa Daddy nya na studies muna ang priority nya, remember what SC said during their PUS moment… “You’ll never know when you’ll gonna fall in love again.”

#Sis, I don’t think Jerome will quit showbiz. He has just been launched as part of Star Circle 2013 nung summer at may contract pa sya. Wala rin akong nababalitaan na other projects nya. Wala ring paramdam from the people behind the show na mawawala si Jerome. Tapos, ang dami pang dinevelop at dinedevelop na subplots involving Luke. Kaya nga palaisipan sa tin e

Kudos to the cast and staff of BCWMH, most especially to the ones behind the camera. I know babaha din ang luha nila when the end comes ( HUWAG NAMAN SANA SOON!) when they reminisce the hardships and stress they have went through to deliver.

Pero aliw sana makita kung paano mabuntis si Maya no?

Pansin ko rin that they’re making the kids look bigger na. Hindi mnaman siguro mahirap na yun. Malaking bulas din naman sila for their age.

Ricky talks to Maya over the phone asking her how she is doing? She tells him that her fever is up and down and rashes have spread all over her body. He wanted to go and see her. But Maya told him not to. She is afraid that he would get turned off because she has a lot of red spots all over. (Hmmm Maya, I don’t think he will be affected in the way you look at this point in the game. He is in it through sickness and in health ha ha) “But I want to see you.” Ricky insists. Maya didn’t want to get him sick and in turn he gets the kids sick. Besides, she needs him to keep planning the wedding. He asked Maya if Nanay Teresita knows already that she is sick? Maya told him not to tell her because she does not want to worry her mother. What she wants for Nanay Teresita is to only think of their vacation when she is ready for them. All this talk seems to go over Ricky’s head. He asked her if she doesn’t want to see him? He told her he misses her. Maya told him that she misses him a lot as well but she tells him to just be patient. Ricky just lets out a big sigh! (Wow, thank you Jodi for doing your best even while you are in the hospital. You have such a big heart. I think most leading ladies will just play the “diva” card but you still gave them your voice recording to use. I could see the stress on Richard’s face. He seems genuinely worried for you. He asked for everyone to pray for your recovery and we are all Kapit-Bisig in doing just that.)

At the breakfast table, Nikki and Abby couldn’t stop talking about the wedding and their ideas. Ricky and Luke just chewed and listened. Nikki said she liked the simple yet elegant motif of the wedding. Abby wants a dress like the flower girls. Nikki told Richard that she has a suggestion for the bridesmaid dresses and likes a long train for the wedding dress. (hmmm me too. I like a long train and a long flowy veil as well.) Nikki said she would suggest it to her Ate Maya. Nikki wishes for Maya to get better soon. She wants to talk to her. Having said that, Nikki asked Richard if he has any ideas for the wedding? Luke said that at last, their Dad is going to be able to speak. But before Richard could say a word, Nikki’s phone rings. It is Paperboy. Nikki sees this and so did Luke. Richard asked her if it is somebody important? She said no and tried to continue the conversation with them.

Maya is talking to Nanay Teresita again but was careful not to make her know she is sick. She asks her mother the different places she would like to visit? “Many places. Cebu, Bohol, Baguio, Davao. I’d like to go to all of those places.” Nanay Teresita answered. “Why?” She asked Maya. “It is because you just won an all expense paid trip around the Philippines courtesy of none other than your Flight Stewardess daughter.” Maya answered. “Huh?” Nanay Teresita was surprised. Maya explained to her that she wants to fulfill her promise to them about touring the Philippines. “How? When?” Nanay Teresita asked. “Maybe this week or early next week” Maya answered (or after she gets out of the hospital when her platelet readings get better and she is no longer contagious. Then maybe she could go back to kissy kissy with Ricky bwahahaha) Nanay Teresita still couldn’t believe what she is hearing. “Were you surprised Mom?” Maya asked her. “Why is it so sudden?” Nanay Teresita asked her. Maya said it is because Ricky and her have decided a date for the wedding. It will be in November. “This November?” she asked. “That is why I want us to take our vacation right away Mother. I don’t want to get married without fulfilling even just one of my promises to you.” Maya tells her mother. (Aaawwwww Maya, you are such a wonderful daughter.) Nanay Teresita reminds Maya that she has already fulfilled a lot of her promises but she is fine with the idea that before they (as in her and Kute) give Maya away to Richard that they could have some quality time together by themselves. Maya told Nanay Teresita to get packing, figure out where exactly they want to go and she will arrange for the flight booking and tickets. Nanay Teresita agreed. She hangs up the phone and sat down. She seemed to be deep in thought that she didn’t notice Cho come in to the room and ask her a question. He wondered if the sweet bread on the plate was the one that she wanted him to pack to give to the man that helped him with his Science project? Because he didn’t get an answer, he assumed that it is so he got a paper bag for a couple of pieces for his new friend. Cho noticed her and asked if she was crying? Only then did Nanay Teresita seem to wake up from her thoughts. She told Cho about her conversation with Maya and asked him what places did he want to go visit? Cho didn’t understand his Grandmother.

Lalo na kung buhay pa si Mamang. Baka bumalik yung pagtatagisan nila, this time tungkol sa Child Rearing 101. As in country style vs urban style; pinoy style vs chinese style; taal na tagalog vs inglisera; adventurous vs cooped up (bawal maligo sa ulan); etc., etc.

Yung halos 1 week na wasak tulog ng Creative. Hihihi! Idlip-gising-sulat-meeting. Sulat-idlip-gising-meeting. Kapit-Bisig at its finest!

Saw this tweet nga din.  Nakakaawa din talaga sila. Sunod sunod din kasi ang nagkakasakit. Plus saw vaughnic’s IG post pa na midnight na, may meeting pa sila with sir avel bacudio regarding the wedding. Parang totoong wedding talaga ang imamount nila! Hihi.

Oh di ba namaaan! Hindi pa bumabalik si Jods sa taping, bumawi na agad ang show sa atin. Kayo talaga, tiwala lang talaga! Syempre yun yung nasa teaser, ang kilig ko talaga sa phonecall na yun. (Ehem, sis cyber, ehem. #AlamMoNa  ) Eh kashe naman Maya, dont you wanna see Ricky naman kaseeeeeee!!! Hihihi
Havey sa akin ang scene nina Inigo at Niccolo. “Bakit, may gusto ka kay Luke?” Enebeeeee!  Ayun lang, lumiliit ang mundo ni Niccolo, meron ng may alam. Lagooot!!! Madali na yan makarating kay kuya Luke who’s overprotective kay Nikkighel na siyempre kinilig din akooo.

Winnie R OntiverosAt the cafeteria at Northwest Hills, Nikki was with Abby sketching a bubble dress that they plan to suggest to her Dad and Ate Maya. Paperboy approached them. He brought them snacks. (In fairness, he is definitely smooth in his approach but basta…I still don’t like him ha ha) He sat next to Nikki and asked her if she has thought about his proposal? Nikki looked back at Abby. She is hesitating to have a full on conversation with Paperboy because she knows Abby’s radar is pretty keen (ha ha yep Abby the smartie pants picks up things pretty fast ha ha) Nikki tells him that she didn’t think he is serious. Paperboy told Nikki he is very serious. Nikki seemed worried knowing that is a definite No No. Paperboy seemed to be doing a lot of this “bait and switch” thing to Nikki because now suddenly he excuses himself and leaves. (That is why I do not trust his smirky face.) Meanwhile at Fishball University, Luke finds Nicolo at the hang out studying. He asks Nicolo where he’s been because he tried to call him yesterday but he didn’t answer his phone. Nicolo told him that finals are almost here and he is studying so he turned off his phone. Luke then tells Nicolo that he thinks he is right about Paperboy. He thinks he is courting Nikki. Nicolo suddenly got really tensed. “Don’t you like him?” Dorkieboy asked Luke. “I don’t like anyone who courts Nikki.” Luke said. Dorkieboy didn’t know what to say. He knows this situation with Luke adds to his dilemma.

At the Chibugan, Nanay Teresita is talking to Kute on the phone (obviously, the creative team figured everyone that is absent will have to say their lines over the phone :D) Nanay Teresita asked Kute if Cho could be excused from school for a few days to go on vacation with Maya. Kute explained to her that they are reviewing for Science Wizard (?) and she couldn’t leave the Chibugan. She tells Nanay Teresita to go ahead on vacation with Maya. Her and Cho will stay behind. Besides, if the four of them go, that would be a big expense for Maya. She reminded her mother that Maya is saving up for the wedding especially that it is going to be in just a couple of months. (She has a point Nanay T) Nanay T is worried that Maya isn’t going to like that her and Cho are not coming. Kute told her that she would talk to Maya. She wants for Nanay Teresita to buy a bathing suit and get ready for the trip. (Congratulations to the creative team. This is another successful replacement scene. If they can’t come to the set, put them on the phone ha ha)

After hanging up the phone with Kute, Lino asked Nanay Teresita if Kute agreed to go on the trip? Nanay Teresita told him that she wanted to stay behind with Cho because she said she couldn’t leave the Chibugan. Now Nanay Teresita is having second thoughts about going to the trip. She didn’t want to leave Kute all by herself at the Chibugan and taking care of Cho. Lino told her not to worry because him and Bugoy are there to help Kute with Cho. After all, he made a promise to Jeff. He encouraged Nanay T to go with Maya so she would not be slighted. Nanay T just let out a huge sigh.

In Manila, Richard and Maya are on the phone again to talk about the wedding. Maya wonders if one hundred guests are enough? (I invited about 200 guests at my wedding but only 150 showed up. But that is here in the US. In the Philippines you have to consider all the “sabit” (extra people) that the guests tend to bring. The 100 invitations might mean 150 will show up ha ha It is the other way around.) Maya didn’t want to upset other people that do not get invited. Richard said, they should go with however many they come up with. Maya then asks him what he wants? Richard took a pause and then he said, “I just want to marry you.” (ha ha excited much for the honeymoon? Weeeee!) “If you ask me, even if it is just the two of us, I am ready to do it. But I don’t think Nikki will ever forgive me if I did that.” Richard added with a chuckle. Maya said she is serious. Richard said, “Fine, I will invite a few. My staff, a few business associates. I’ll ask Liza to come up with a list.” Maya liked that response better and said that she would also make a list with Time Airways people. Richard said that he has cousins on both his parent’s sides that he would like to invite. Maya said that she has cousins on Nanay Teresita’s side too. (Funny how we start to think of all these relatives we never would have thought of until there is someone getting married in the family or your own wedding. I know I sent a ton of wedding invitations to relatives I haven’t seen in a long while. I considered them my parent’s guests not mine ha ha)

Soooo. Hindi pwede ang pisikalan scenes, eh pwede naman ang linyahan di ba? Ang kilig ko naman sa “Ano bang gusto mo?” “I just want to marry you. Kahit nga tayong dalawa na lang eh.” Oh di ba, ang powers talaga nila magpakilig!

I also love it na family event ang kasal. Talaga namang active participation ang mga bagets! Bakit ba hindi ko nagustuhan ang BLUE na yan, kaya pala blue ang invite sa plug eh. Mukhang decided na sila sa concept ng wedding. Promise talaga, with the way they are preparing for it, parang totoong wedding ang gagawin nila. Waaaaaaaaaah! Hashtag kiligmuch!

Ba, pati si Liza, phone call na din? Ano toooh! Ilang minutes ng episode ang phone call? Pero havey na din! At BOW sa editor ha? Hindi yan biro. Wag na wag lang na magkasakit pa pati si Ricardo at BCWMH specials na talaga ang masisilayan natin. Ayun naman pala talaga ang dahilan kung bakit walang pisikalan. Napanatag naman ako.  At BOW din kay Jodi, ang dami niyang nairecord ha? Naloka ako sa “Malalaki na ang mga anak MO.”

May pahabol pang “It’s for Maya. I just wanna make her happy the way she makes me happy.” Enebeeee.

Winnie R OntiverosRichard asked Maya about her Father’s side? Maya said that her father is an only child and her Grandparents from her Father’s side passed away sometime before her and Kute were even born. He never introduced any relatives to them. (Unbeknownst to Maya, this is information that Richard could use to find her father. Gud jab Richard.) This talk reminded Maya of the wedding they observed. She said that the family seemed very close and it looked like the father of the bride didn’t want to give her away. Then it reminded her that they have not decided on a motif and theme for their wedding. Richard told her not to think of that now. He will come up with a few suggestions later. Instead, Richard tells her to rest now. (Another successful conversation on the phone. Even without Maya on the screen they were able to iron out some details of their wedding. See???? The creative team came up with a great solution to Maya’s absence. Kudos to them. Clap clap clap) At this time, Manang Fe arrives with coffee for Richard. She asks how Maya is doing? Richard told her that her fever had gone down but that she still has a lot of rashes. Then he got really quiet. Manang Fe noticed it and asked him what’s wrong? Richard tells Manang Fe that with all the wedding preparations, Maya seems to miss her Father. (Good intuition Richard)

At Fishball University (again!….just filling the gap…filling the gap) Inigo finds Dorkieboy eating what else????? Yep, you guessed it. He was surprised to see him all by himself. Inigo asked him where’s Luke? Nicolo said that he went home. Inigo said that Louie is asking to have group study. He asked Nicolo to go with them but he isn’t really paying attention to him. So he tricked Nicolo. He placed his arm around his shoulder and told him “Don’t worry, I am sure she likes you too.” “You think so?” Nicolo immediately replied. “Gotcha!” Inigo said. “Bro, you can’t take those kind of problems on fishballs. You probably should ask Luke for help” He added. Nicolo the dork that he is replied, “My best friend is my problem.” “What? You like Luke?” Inigo said. Ha ha Nicolo covered Inigo’s mouth and said, “No” (Ooopps Nicolo I think you hurt Inigo cuz he said “aray” = ouch ha ha These two are both dorks ha ha I can’t stop laughing at how awkward they are ha ha) Nicolo finally found the gumption to ask Inigo’s opinion. He said “Do you think I have a chance with Niknik?” Inigo was surprised “You like Nikki?” He said loudly. Nicolo told him not to say it out too loud. Embarrassed, Nicolo walked away looking defeated. (Waaaaa! At least Nicolo is now admitting his true feelings but this could be the beginning of the demise of his and Luke’s friendship. Uh oh…I hope not.)

At the mansion, Nikki greets her Dad. She asks if he thought it would take some time before her Ate Maya gets better? Richard thinks it might be a couple more days. He wondered if Nikki wants another “girl talk” with her? Nikki didn’t answer. Richard tells her that Maya isn’t going to be around everytime she needs her specially now that she is sick and thinking of a lot of things. Richard offered his help to Nikki. She said she only wanted to talk to her about girly stuff for the wedding. Richard told Nikki that he needs help in the theme and motif. He had a few suggestions but he isn’t sure if Maya will like it. He wants Nikki to help him out. (Yesssss! DIVERSION for Nikki) At the living room upstairs, Nikki looks over the list that Richard showed her. She said that it is so cheesy she loves it. Luke was surprised to learn that Richard and Maya both like the color blue. Abby pipes in and said that it is all written in her Slam Book. (ha ha Smartie pants….) So it seems that the motif of the wedding will be Blue. Nikki apologized to the memory of Mamang and her Grandmother. She said that fiesta and vintage are nice but Nikki likes Richard’s suggestion….Aviation! Luke agrees. Richard wonders if it is a little stiff? He wonders if it is good for a wedding? Nikki thinks the wedding planner will be able to do something to make it work. She thinks it speaks volume for who they are. He owns an aviation service and Maya is a flight attendant. It’s like they were meant for each other (ahem….opkors. We knew that from the start Nikki.) Richard just hopes that Maya would like it. Abby is sure she will and Luke thinks it is going to be a perfect wedding.

Hooooy sandaliiiii Ricky ano ba kung maka-I love you ka naman parang ako yung sinasabihan. Halatang-halata na namimiss na ng isa dyan ang kanyang lady love.

Sobrang hands down na talaga kay Jodi. Nagawa niya pang magrecord kahit obvious sa voice niya na she’s very sick. Very dedicated talaga siya and ayaw niyang madisappoint ng todo ang viewers

Frustration ko din kasi yan minsan eh, minsan kasi yung paga I love you ni Cardo eh parang May Acting Acting! Katulad nung last time, yung “It hit me. I love you.” niya pero this time waaaaaaaaaah naman!!! Bawing bawi ang lolo mo

Kahit team niknic ako , alam ko naman na ang bata pa ni NikNik …basta alagaan pa rin niya si Nikki ,lagi siyang andiyan for her .. tamang panahon lang pag nasa tamang edad na si Nikki. saka GO ligaw na.

Winnie R OntiverosAt San Nicolas, Nanay Teresita is giving Maya an update. She said that they should cut their trip down to three days because she didn’t want to leave Kute by herself with only Lino and Bugoy helping her out with Cho and the Chibugan. Maya thought that they would not be able to go around and see many places. Nanay Teresita suggested to just focus on one place. She thought they should go to Bohol. Maya agreed. She said there are plenty of tourist spots there. Nanay Teresita also said there are many beautiful churches there. Maya agreed. She is going to arrange for their trip.

At the high school, Paperboy follows Nikki who has been trying her best to evade him. When he catches up with her, she hurries up and excuses herself quickly. At Fishball University, Dorkieboy tells Inigo not to tell Luke about what he admitted to him about Nikki. He warned him that he is going to go after him if he told. (Wow Nicolo, don’t be like that to Inigo. If not for him being nice to you, you would be talking to yourself while they ask you to fill the gap you silly.) Meanwhile, Luke and Louie sees Inigo and asked him if that was Nicolo he was talking to? Inigo said yes. Luke asked him why he seemed to be in a hurry? Inigo made up an excuse and said that he has a stomachache. He said he might be going to the restroom (waaaa! He is going to stink up the barfroom! Noooooo too much fishballs ha ha) Louie thought he is evading the group. Inigo asked him why he thought Nicolo wants to stay away? Louie said he doesn’t know. Maybe he had an LQ with Papa Luke (Waaaa! You are another dork Louie ha ha) They all laughed.

Richard is at the office talking to Sonny. He hands over to Richard the guest list that Liza made for the wedding. Richard calls up the PI again and the good news is that he seemed to have found Tatay Arturo. He said he has confirmation that the person he found matches the profile that Richard gave him. The PI wants to know if Richard wants him to set up a meeting with this person? Richard said that this is personal so he wants to take care of it himself. (Gud jab PI) Richard calls up Liza to help him book a flight to Cebu first thing tomorrow.

He talks to Maya on the phone again. He told her about the motif and theme that him and the kids thought about. Maya liked it very much so Richard told her that Nikki and Luke would relay the information to the wedding planner tomorrow. Maya was surprised that he is sending Nikki and Luke to the wedding planner. Richard told Maya that he is going to leave tomorrow for Cebu. Maya said ok but said it seemed so sudden? Richard said that he had to take care of something. He can’t tell her right now but promises to let her know after he gets back. Maya said that if it is all about the wedding, she didn’t want to bother the kids and she is worried that no one will look after them. “Your kids are grown up now.” Richard said. (Wow! I dunno why but that sent shivers up my spine ha ha) Maya finally agreed. Richard told her he wants her to be well already when he returns. Of course, Maya said. She misses him a lot. Richard seems happy that even if Maya is sick, things are still moving along.

At the high school, Nikki continues to avoid Paperboy. Nikki begs him again to stop trying to be sweet. Why? Asked PB. He is naturally a sweet person. Nikki said he doesn’t want for people to think he is courting her. (She stops him from saying it too loud.) PB asked her if she is ashamed of him? Nikki said no but she couldn’t really say why. He told her she didn’t have to answer him right away. That is why it is called courting. They need time to get to know one another. He is a fast talker that he left Nikki speechless realizing how difficult it is to fend him off.

Pero ako, sowee Amiel, di ko masyadong type ang moves mo, parang you’re taking advantage of Nikki’s situation…. sa ganang akin lang naman…NikNic pa rin ako.

If safe naman, baka they can shoot sa hospital pero di ipapakita face ni Jods. Baka pwedeng simple kilig scenes lang like SC touching her hand, susubuan sya, makakatulog sa pagbabatay sa kanya etc. Para rin Jods won’t be required to act or speak.

Nikki is what ba? 2nd year high school? Juiceko. Parang she’s one of my students lang pala. Actually, takang taka talaga ako, may mga school pala na pwede ang cellphones ha? Sa amin kasi super duper bawal.  Yeah. She’s too young to be in a relationship pero parang normal na yan sa mga students namin eh, ako, what I advise sa mga students ko, sa akin, okay lang naman na may mga lovelife sila, as long as alam ng parents nila, eh usually hindi alam, so what I do, I inform the parents about it.

Regarding Jodi’s condition naman na dengue, two weeks max absent ang student kapag may dengue so baka ganun din, 2 weeks din siya hindi makakapagtape. Mahaba habang absence din yun. Haaaay Get well soon, Jods!

2 weeks of absence ni Maya might already ruin the plot. If this will be the case, better if they consider other options na. Kesa naman mawalan ng gana ang ibang viewers and ma-put on record officially na mababa ratings nila (which I think will happen if sobrang tagal nang di pinapakita si Maya).

Winnie R OntiverosRichard arrives home and on the phone to Liza. (Wow the volume is high like he’s got the phone on speaker while he has it on his ear. Ha ha that is how my Momma talks on the phone for she is hard of hearing ha ha) She gives him details of his trip to Cebu in the morning. Liza asks him about Maya and Nanay Teresita’s trip if she needs to arrange it? Richard said, Maya took care of it but to just please arrange for Luke’s trip to Singapore. Manang Fe overheard this and asked Richard if Luke is really going to Singapore? Richard said that he is just going to check out the campus there. He isn’t going to school there just yet. Manang Fe then asked him that if Luke liked it there, is he going to allow for them to be apart? Richard said that he will have to let him if he decides. He thinks it will be good for Luke. (Manang Fe seemed worried for Luke) But she agreed that a parent is only going to allow their child to be away if there is a good reason.

Inigo catches up with Nicolo at school. He is panting and apologizes for laughing at him yesterday. He said he didn’t think he was serious when he told him that he has a crush on Nikki. Nicolo signals for him not to talk too loud for fear others are going to hear them. (Ummm Nicolo, does the entire Fishball University know who Nikki is? Hmmm maybe because of the video huh? Right I forgot about that.) Inigo could see Nicolo is worried and gave him advice. He said to first deal with his issue with Luke. Nicolo said he is afraid of Luke and he doesn’t know what is going to happen with between him and Nikki. First of all, she is still young and he thinks she is going to turn him down. And in the process, he is going to jeopardize his friendship with Luke. Inigo commented that he seemed very negative. Nicolo told Inigo that Luke said that he doesn’t want anyone to court Nikki. And he is also worried about Nikki. Inigo, once more reminded him to take it one step at a time and deal with Luke first and then Nikki. Nicolo reminded Inigo that there is a third problem that is Paperboy. He thinks he is in a race. He wants to be first. Inigo is sure Nikki will not choose anyone without his brother’s approval so he thinks Nicolo has the upper hand in this case. “You think so?” Nicolo asked. “Yes of course.” Inigo answered. That gave Nicolo a smile on his face. (Weee! Nicolo fight…fight…fight Dorkieboy!)

At the dinning table, Richard tells the kids that he is leaving for Cebu the following day and wants Luke to look after his sisters. He also told him that Liza is arranging for his plane tickets to Singapore. Luke was excited to hear that. Then Richard asked him and Nikki to meet with the wedding planner tomorrow afternoon after school to give her their suggestions for the wedding. Luke was enthusiastic but Nikki seemed unexcited. Richard noticed and asked if she is ok? Nikki said she is just thinking about everything they talked about. He told her not to worry he will give her a list of everything they talked about and a copy of the guest list as well. Manang Fe wondered if his trip to Cebu is for the wedding? Richard said no. It is for Maya. He wants to do something to make her happy just like how she makes him happy. (Waaaaaa! Super sweet words…now if we could just coax you to show more PDA, you would be the winner Richard ha ha)

Paperboy approaches Nikki to tell her that Aryen is still having problems with her role and wondered if Nikki would show her again how it’s done? Stacy listens in and already notices what’s going on. After PB left, Stacy confronts Nikki and asked her if there is something she doesn’t know? She wondered if they are on the “getting to know you” stage already? Jam approaches Luke at Fishball University. She showed Luke Stacy’s post on FB. She said she remembered Luke being Florante before, but now, this guy for Nikki is Ibarra. Luke wasn’t too happy to see this. Luke calls up Nikki to ask her if this Ibarra is Amiel. (Yes yes Luke, it’s Paperboy!) Nikki told Luke not to mind it. It is nothing. Luke asked Nikki if she is allowing boys to court her? Of course not is Nikki’s answer. (Liar liar, skirt on fire! Nikki) Luke said they need to talk or better yet, he is going to tell his Dad. (Uh oh Nikki you are in trouble.) Richard meets with the Private Investigator (I assume this is in Cebu.) He gives him the report of Arturo de la Rosa. Richard has this look on his face that I couldn’t figure out. So we wait and see what happens tomorrow.

I agree, Nikki’s too young! At that age, I was into crush-crush lang pero was not ready to have a boyfriend. Pag may nanligaw sa akin at that age, nagtatago ako. pero I don’t know with today’s generation kasi medyo advanced sila ngayon.

As for Jodi, my niece had dengue just a month ago and they will not allow her to be released until after five days from the time her fever has stopped. kasi di ba the fever is our body’s way of fighting infection, pag wala na daw fever, it could be posible rin na the body has already succumbed to the disease so they have to make sure na hindi talaga magrecur and magnonormal na ang blood hence the five day observation period.

Commendable at the same time kawawa naman ang mga writers ng BCWMH!!

But it seems matagalan pa talaga siyang hindi makabalik, parang may required no. of days (am not sure kung 5 days) yata for observation from the time the fever goes down, na hindi pa nila marelease ang patient. Hello mga sis! ano ba ang topic ngayon? But before that, gusto ko icongratulate ang team ng BCWMH! Ang galing nila bumawi sa so-so and ngarag na episode nila kahapon. Parang kinilig ako kay RY kahit hindi niya kaharap si Maya.

Lurker mode ako but just want to comment. Yes po, pwede magrecur ang dengue but different strain. I had it twice. Yun first one nakakatakot coz I wasnt aware na dengue pala. Kasi on and off yun fever. Tapos parang flu lang. When super sumakit likod ko, that’s when I got rushed to the hospital at ayun dengue nga. My platelet count was so low at buti naagapan na walang bleeding kasi sabi ng doc fatal daw. Tapos after more than a year, I had it again. Mahilig kasi ako maghike sa mga bundok kaya siguro ganun. Pero since I had it na, aware na ako so check up agad after lumabas symptoms. My doc said na mas susceptible nga raw ako to have it again.

Zaida Schmichwow kawawa naman pala si Maya na dengue! Sana magingat sila…over worked kasi eh. Kaya na nga ba ako kung dadalaw sa Pinas, eh di baleng mainit but I will come and visit in April pag walang dengue mosquitos. Naku take care all of you ha mga kabisig! sigue I will reserve my other comments some other time pag magaling na si Maya. Para kasing hindi complete eh!:-(

I guess matagal ng may sakit si Jodz at di niya pinansin being a workaholic, dedicated actress she is, kaya hayun lumala at itinakbo siya sa hospital. Dapat ata the crew would take extra measures para hindi magkasakit yun iba. Yun location nila dapat ifumigate (tama ba?) Lumala pa ata si Jodz nung nagswimming pa siya sa pool at naglublob sa bathtub.

Kung ako naman ang may dengue (wag naman sana) at sa akin din naman sinabi yan, naku yung platelets ko aakyat agad sa normal level at yung fever agad agad mawawala! Daig pa ng I love you ni Richard ang kahit anong gamot 

Frustration ko din kasi yan minsan eh, minsan kasi yung paga I love you ni Cardo eh parang May Acting Acting! Katulad nung last time, yung “It hit me. I love you.” niya pero this time waaaaaaaaaah naman!!! Bawing bawi ang lolo mo!

Oh di ba, puede naman kilig kahit si RY lang! dapat lang talaga meatier monologues/dialogues to get the right effect (di ba pagnagbabasa ng libro, nasa choice of words lang naman ang effect kasi wala naman tayong nakikita, imagination lang lahat). Pero it helped rin na RY put his heart (acting lang) into the delivery of his lines.

Pero I get it why kung minsan bland ang acting nila. As RY himself said it sa interview niya, pag pagod sila di nila mabigay ang best nila. Sana this US concert won’t put a drag again on the show!!!

Kailangan talagang maging mommy na si Maya kay Abby, kasi kung maka ngiti si Abby kay Kuya Amiel..para syang kinikilig. Kailangan bantayan ni Maya si Abby. It looks like she’s gonna have her hands full with Abby. Lagot ka Abby. Remember what you promised your dad, that you will not entertain suitors until you are 25.

Sana the quality of the episodes won’t be sacrificed because of OKG. First, kelangan nilang bumawi dahil matagal nawala si JSM. Second, malapit na silang ikasal so mas kilig dapat.

I agree sis. Last night, can’t sleep so I decided to watch Volume 15, start lang, iyung episode na hindi makapili ng prom dress si Nikki and tinawagan si Maya. Noong nag-thank you si SC kay Maya, kilig pa rin kahit lang beses ko na napanood! That was the first time they saw each other, di ba, after umalis ni Maya sa mansion. Can’t explain the kilig kahit ilang beses na talaga panoorin ang scenes nila!

Eto yung iniisip ko kanina. Why not shoot in the hospital? Kahit man lang short scene lang just to show na sobrang worried din si Ricky. Pero I know naman na it’s kinda impossible kasi siyempre ospital pa rin yun baka may mahawa pa sa team at di rin makakapagrest nang maayos si Jodi

Marinela Nolascoang mga lines ni SC very sweet …just shows how much he really loves Maya. The cast for now are doing a great job…we miss JSM though..

If safe naman, baka they can shoot sa hospital pero di ipapakita face ni Jods. Baka pwedeng simple kilig scenes lang like SC touching her hand, susubuan sya, makakatulog sa pagbabatay sa kanya etc. Para rin Jods won’t be required to act or speak.

Di kaya makakalabas na rin si Jodi at they could shoot na nakahiga at nagrerest lang si Jodi. pero di naman fair kay Jodi na sick pa siya pinapatrabaho na siya!

Since nasa condo si Maya kahit may sakit pwede palabasin na lumala at isinugod na siya sa hospital, SC will be super duper worried, kaya pinuntahan na rin niya, promise, kahit nasa labas lang siya ng room, kikiligin ako!

Juicekooo kung sa hospital ni Jodi talaga toh, eh gagaling ako talaga agad! Anu baaaaaaaa

Eeeeeeeeeeeeehh! Baka gumana ang tigas ng ulo ni SC this time, pumunta pa din ng hospital kahit ayaw na ni Maya. Haaaay After ng hospital, pwede sa plane byaheng US? Hihihi Ako na ang atat!

Hmmm, pwede, nang ma-inspect din natin ang mga laman ng shop, from the flowers to veils and the sample wedding souvenirs! Curious, ano kaya ang wedding souvenir nina Ricky and Maya, miniature airplanes?

Sorry to ruin your kiligness pero i dont think its safe sa mag shooting sa REAL hospital. Nung na dengue kid ko, no visitors allowed. Yung mga visitors since galing sila sa labas, may mga dalang bacteria/virus yan. Ang patient naman ay bagsak ang resistance so madali makakakuha ng ibang sakit ang patient, dala kasi ng mga visitors.

Nung nag B-BR ako, parang may isang adik na sabi Jerome is running sa SK?? True kaya o wild guess lang? Walang nag react nor follow up comment eh. Nanddun sa page where nag greet yung editing master. Baka yan ang reason KUNG mawawala si Jerome.

Alam ko sis, Jerome is an incumbent SK Chairman. If he would run for reelection, he has to temporarily leave the show during the campaign period. Baka i-time nila dito yung SG ocular nya kuno. Mas ok kung ganito kasi di sya tuluyang mawawala. If this plot was just meant to accommodate his leave for the SK Elections, ibig sabihin hindi matutuloy sa SG si Luke.

Teresa S.ay wag naman kayong nega, kahit nga naka CONFINE si JODI(MAYA) sa HOSPITAL due to DENGUE FEVER, still she gave her voice for the taping, kya naman sana konting pangunawa at respeto sa ating mahal na actress, we’ll pray for your speedy recovery jodi GOD bless!

Napalabas lang po ako sa aking lungga…..can’t help but get pissed off with those people who are so unforgiving with the absence of JSM, their comments are so rude to the point that they are now asking the management to finish the show right away…hello, kung di na nila feel e di wag na lang silang manood at manahimik na lang…the show has given us so much joy for a year at tapos dahil lang sa walang kilig these past few episodes e nagsisimula ng manlait…walang gustong magkasakit and the actors are only human, gaano ba yun kahirap intindihin… yes the show was kinda’ boring with the absence of Maya but that was exactly the selling point of the show ang kilig between them and that was the reason we are all so crazy with their tandem…we should just all be patient and we know for sure that na babawi sila once Jodi gets back to her feet….actually feel ko rin na super miss na ni RY si JSM, he is so transparent so let’s just be considerate and keep on praying for Jodi’s recovery.

Maya decides to take the opportunity to fulfill her promise to bring her family for a well-deserved vacation before she gets married this coming November.

Nanay Teresita’s conversation with Kute regarding the impending trip ends with Kute deciding that Nanay Teresita goes but Cho and Kute stays, Cho for school requirements and Kute for Chibugan. I wonder where Kute was supposed to be waiting for a supplier (of what?) Because Nanay Teresita was at Chibugan yet Kute referenced Chibugan. Kind of confused with this scene.

After another conversation Nanay Teresita suggested Bohol as their destination since they are available only for 3-days (weekend) trip.

I wonder who Cho is looking out for outside of school?

Maya is sick with fever and rashes (Dengue). Richard and Maya miss each other but Maya is adamant that Ricky does not visit because she still has a lot of rashes. She does not want Ricky exposed and might pass it on to the children.

Richard has given instructions to the PI that he needs feedback asap. The PI delivers with a positive ID and asking if he needs to set up a meeting, Richard says it is personal and he will take care of it. So Richard will be off for Cebu and tells Maya that he cannot tell her about it now and promises to tell her when he gets back.

Richard never fails to include Manang Fe, he shares with her that with all the preparation, Maya misses her father and that his trip to Cebu is really for Maya, he just wants Maya happy the same way that Maya makes him happy.

It was sweet of Richard to get Nikki, Abby and Luke to see his list for the wedding…..Cheesy but Nikki says she likes it…….Abby saying don’t worry Dad, Ate Maya will like it, and Luke saying it will be a very nice wedding Dad attest to the family’s openness and love for each other.

Maya confirms she likes the motif and theme and will prepare her own list and guest list. Luke and Nikki will be seeing the wedding planner in Richard’s stead to give the list Richard made including the tentative guest list.

Luke on the other hand is concerned that Amiel is already courting Nikki and tells Nicolo he does not like anybody to court Nikki. Nicolo on the other hand was caught off guard by Inigo and he asks Inigo if he thinks Nikki likes him. But his problem is that Amiel who he thinks is aggressive. Inigo’s take on it is for Nicolo to start with Luke first and not include Nikki. One at a time, because Nikki will follow whatever Luke says. And he bolsters Nicolo’s feeling by saying you actually have an advantage because Luke is your best friend. Nicolo is not that sure but appreciates Inigo’s inputs.

Nikki girl, please do not avoid, face it head on and deal with it. Amiel has a purpose and he will pursue you because he likes you and wants to get to know you better. Talk to him Nikki, tell him why – about your promise to your Dad and right now you are too young and you will just be okay as friends. Even friendship needs getting to know and nurturing to make it a lasting relationship. It can be leveled up when it is appropriate to do so, say when you are already in College. Just talk to him and be honest. I like that Amiel is up front with his intention but also keeps his distance when he sees Nikki is not comfortable. Yet Amiel finds the time to be sweet when opportunity presents itself…..like giving Nikki and Abby cake for merienda at the canteen.

Richard meets the PI (in Cebu) to get the information on Arturo Dela Rosa. So wait for tomorrow again on why Tatay Arturo left……

Amiel suggests that Nikki should portray Maria Clara instead of Aryan, Stacey says do I need to know something? addressing both Nikki and Amiel.

This time, the episode had continuity even if it is just the voice of Maya being heard through phone conversations and also that of Kute. Thank you BCWMH.

JSM , I hope it is only a mild form of Dengue.(Incubation period 4 to 10 days) Since it is a virus, there is no specific medicine for it. Plenty of Rest, and Hydration. Recovery is expected in one to two weeks without complications.. According to WHO , vaccine for Dengue might be available by 2015, This is good news, since this infectious desease is prevalent in Philipppines.
JSM, I will pray for your speedy recovery. To other staff and cast members, take care yourself. !!!!!!!

I also read those comments and has expressed here my disappointment as well. To avoid BV, I just removed the said site from my Favorites at di ko na sya babalikan ever. Noticed that people there seem to be uneducated (pardon me). I guess mas marami pa ring fans ang understanding, who would stick sa show through thick and thin.

I must say that i still would like to support the people on cam and behind BCWMH…it wasn’t easy to pull together an act like that…my youngest daughter had been a trainee on these teleseryes and she told me how stressful it was so what more when one of the main lead is suddenly not available…let’s just keep supporting, ngayon talaga kailangan ang kapit-bisig to keep the rating constant…

Ingat po ang mga taga Pilipinas, marami daw po talagang nagkakasakit dahil sa weather so take all the necessary precautions…At yang sakit na dengue, mahirap labanan kasi wala naman po talagang gamot laban dyan so make sure the environment is clean .

Agree Rogus. We should all be thankful pa nga that the show is still trying to make us feel the GV and kilig kahit na JSM is sick. And sana man lang a little appreciation that JSM still works kahit may sakit sya (recording). Sa totoo lang, di ko na nga inexpect that the show will still be this good dahil sa sitwasyon. I know the episodes these days won’t match the kilig when Maya is around pero kudos pa rin talaga sa BCWMH team. Just shows their dedication and greatness.

The simple telephone convo was enough to lift our spirits…that’s how strong their chemistry is…it drive me nuts and yet it gives me pleasure because i love the concept of love and this show has all the right ingredients to make us all eager to fall in love again…Thanks BCWMH, it helps me to make it through my everyday life.

I think Nikki and Nikolo really do care for each other because they put each other’s welfare above anything else. I saw kasi na hindi siya as careful sa feelings ni Amiel (mas straightforward siya about not liking him in that way), and si Nikolo naman ayaw mapahamak si Nikki.

“Sad to say but BCWMH is becoming a victim of its own success. In the beginning they had a 2-3 week headstart in taped episodes as usually taping begins much much earlier than a teleserye’s launch. But then they decided to send the cast to Dubai, US, Canada and that ate up much of the buffer. By time, they came back to shoot the Subic scenes, they were only left with about a week of advanced taped shows. When they shot the cowboy birthday party, they were already working on a day to day basis. That is really a recipe for disaster. Pushing your stars to work 4 days a week at a pace of 18-24 hours a day is no joke, even granted there is a lot of waiting time during sets. Then they have to grace some shows on weekends. It is no surprise therefore that Jodi has been getting sick a number of times, notably when she was hospitalized in October, and had bad bouts with cough/cold during and after her first date scene at the Bay, and sometime again after they came back from the States. It doesn’t help that the cast is leaner. The departure of Tom, the continuing absences of Aiza, and the early “killing” of Mamang reduced the subplots. The pressure is not only on the stars but also on the writers/director/editors. You could see the deterioration in the quality/creativity of the dialogue/story line, plus the faux pas here and there in the finished materials. If ABS CBN is intent on finishing this series by Nov/Dec, there has to be more subplots to spread out the work and lighten the load on the lead stars. Sayang, the Esmi/Chonci banter was gaining fans and yet they terminated it prematurely. Luke has to get a lovelife going. Aiza has to be doing something. Whatever happened to the plan to match Simon with Edceline? Eman also needs a bigger role. Joma and Liza are attractive and skilled actors and yet they don’t have their own subplots. Doris/Sabel scenes are getting fewer. But maybe since the series is about to end, the writers don’t want to start a subplot they can’t finish in 2 months time. Challenges, challenges…”
what can you say about this?

Makes a lot of sense to me. If the statements in the first part are all factual, I, as a loyal fan, am all for having a temporary ending after December to give team BCWMH a chance to recharge and time to build up a stockpile of episodes (1) to take care of unexpected eventualities in Book 2, (2) to allow the team to shoot at reasonable hours (no more 24 hour workdays), (3) to enable the actors to do promotional work here and abroad that are beneficial both to the show, to their own finances and most of all to the TFC fans, our modern national heroes na sabik na sabik for a touch of home, (4) to give the actors leeway to develop new talents by undertaking training in new fields of interest (martial arts, tango lessons, etc.), (5) to afford the actors the opportunity to accept other projects to broaden their experiences and improve their craft, and (6) to give everyone in team BCWMH a chance to enjoy the fruits of their labors with their loved ones in more meaningful ways.

But while they’re recharging and stockpiling, sana they listen to the earlier advise of the other ladies na mag-show sila ng specials like TFC shows, local mall shows, bloopers, behind the scenes videos, favorite episodes, music videos, etc. para naman we don’t feel too orphaned. Maybe kahit paulit-ulitin nila yung wedding if they are really able to pull it off successfully despite Jodi’s illness  maganda rin kung may honeymoon clips

Based on what I know, there was never a time that they completed an episode in advance. Some out of town scenes, yes, but never a complete episode.

As to the lack of development of subplots, I think this is one of the things that makes me believe that they are preparing for a Book 2. If this is the case, what they only need to resolve by December are the wedding and TA issues. The other subplots they are introducing would serve as a ground for the continuation.

As to the other points raised, unfortunately, not all things are beyond their control.

I just do hope the show would rise again when JSM returns. This already happened to them several times but they were resilient. I guess we cannot please everybody and this is part of success.

In fairness, 19.5 pa rin ratings nila nung Oct 1. Not as worst as I expected given their current problem.

I don’t expect naman na humataw ang ratings in the coming days. I just expect na makabangon sila ratings-wise and perception-wise upon JSM’s return.

At bridal shop, umamin a Nikki kay Kuya. Asks for advise what to do.

Busted-in mo, mas masakit iwas-iwas. Hehehe………….kinikilig ako sa magkapatid!!!!

Ayan umamin na si Nikki kay Kuya about Amiel! Kulit kasi ni Amiel eh!!!!

He wanted Nikki to consider being the lead in the play because he thinks he is going to be a better Ibarra if she were Maria Clara. In Cebu, Richard meets with the Private Investigator. He hands him the report containing the complete information regarding Arturo de la Rosa.

At Fishball University, Luke, Louie, Inigo and Nicolo are hanging out (by the fishball stand). Jam shows up asking Luke if Nikki has a suitor? She got this idea from Stacy’s post to Nikki on FB that she shows Luke. It read: …..It looked like someone is making my best friend “kilig”. Will you be Ibarra’s Maria Clara?….. Jam remembered that Florante was the famous code name in the whole school before, now it is Ibarra. She wonders if the guys know who this Ibarra guy is? Nicolo said that maybe Stacy just made him up. He thinks she just doesn’t have anything better to say. Luke didn’t know what to say. He excused himself from the group and called up Nikki. At the high school, Nikki happened to read Stacy’s post on FB. She asked her why she did that? Stacy said nothing. She just got excited. Nikki begged her to delete the post because she knows that her brother is going to be upset if he sees it. Stacy told Nikki to relax. Luke does not know who Ibarra is after all. But Nikki told her that they are going to find out once they watch the play. At that moment, Nikki’s phone rings. It is Luke and he wants to know “Who is Ibarra?” (Who do you think? Duh!) “Is he Amiel?” (Umm yes Luke he is.) “Isn’t he part of your play?” (Yes, yes, yes!) “Don’t deny it.” (Uh oh) Nikki asked Luke if he saw Stacy’s post? (Uh huh Nikki you know he did.) She told her Kuya not to mind it. It is nothing. “Nikki Grace Lim will you tell me the truth?” Luke asked, “Are you entertaining suitors already?” “Of course not Kuya.” Nikki said (Ummm deny deny deny :D) “That is not what I see.” Luke was emphatic. “We better talk later or better yet, I will tell Dad on you.” “Kuya No!!!!!!” Nikki begged but it was too late as Luke had already hung up the phone. He looked really upset. Nicolo approached him and told him to take it easy after all Nikki is grown up now. “Grown up? Bro, my sister is still young.” Luke said. “I know best friend but…” Nicolo couldn’t finish what he wants to say. “But what?” Luke asked. “Nothing. Yes you are right she is still young.” Nicolo replied. Luke asked Nicolo if he is actually rooting for that Amiel? “No of course not best friend. You know I don’t like that guy. He is my most hatest guy in the whole wide world.” (Waaaa Nicolo…most hatest???? Really…ha ha redundant words but effective for stressing a point ha ha) “But about Niknik, she really can’t entertain suitors yet right?” Nicolo asks. Luke said no. Nicolo accepts Luke’s response even if he is disappointed.

At the mansion, Abby is helping Manang Fe cook something for her Ate Maya. She tells her not to put too much salt because apparently a sick person could not have too much salt in their diet. (I dunno where you get this information Abby but you sure are being a Smartie Pants again) She wonders what time her sister and brother is arriving home? The neighbor told them that he isn’t home and he could very well stop at the bar before coming home. Richard told the Private Investigator that they should probably go to the bar.

Meanwhile, Nikki and Luke make it to the Bridal Boutique. Luke tried to talk to Nikki again. He told her that all he wants is for her to be honest with him. After all, they never kept secrets from each other. Nikki let out a huge sigh. She is hesitant to tell Luke but she knows deep down that he is right. They don’t keep secrets from each other. She knows that in the end, her brother is going to be his ally. She made him promise not to be upset. When Luke did that she told him the truth about Amiel. And she really does not know what to do. She said she is really trying to evade him but he is insistent. Luke told her to simply turn him down instead of evading him. Nikki said ok. Luke said he is sorry but she is still too young. Nikki seem to accept that.

At the Karaoke Bar, Richard and the Private Investigator sit down for a drink. He looks around and checks out the place when suddenly Tay Arturo arrives. The bar tender called him “Bossing” signifying that he is the leader or the boss or the owner of the establishment. It appears Tay Arturo wants to sing but the Karaoke machine or the Television is not working. (Wow I applaud the creative team for including a subtitle to the Cebuano dialect. They probably know I couldn’t translate that because I don’t speak the language ha ha…. Thank you Creative team.) Richard recognized Tay Arturo. He remembered seeing him in San Nicolas when he found him standing across the street from Maya’s house. He approached him and introduced himself to him as Maya’s boyfriend. (Just like he probably did to everyone else at the wake that didn’t know) Richard invited him in but he refused and said that he had to go. This time Richard approaches him again. When Tay Arturo sees him, he knew who Richard is. He tried to escape from Richard again but not this time. Richard stopped him and asked if they could talk. Richard introduced himself again. “I am Richard Lim. I am the boyfriend of…” “Of Maya” Tay Arturo said. “Why are you here?” He asked. Richard told him he is there for Maya. Tay Arturo asked if something happened to Maya? Richard said no but if it is ok with him, he wants to talk to him privately. Tay Arturo said he is busy. Richard said it’s ok, they could talk later. Tay Arturo said later in the evening. Richard agreed.

At the Bridal Boutique, Nikki and Luke tells Ms Corrine about the theme and motif that they decided. Ms Corrine got really excited. (I thought the aviation theme is a new and fresh idea really very personal to R and M.) Luke and Nikki seemed entertained at the very animated and overly excited Ms Corrine. She wanted them to pick the shade of blue for the motif, a second complimentary color, pick some party favors, invitations, flowers, table cloths etc etc. Although according to Ms Corrine Richard and Maya said they could make the final choices, Nikki asked if she could please get a final approval of their selection from Maya. Luke realizes that planning a wedding isn’t very easy. (Yep I agree Luke and your Dad and Ate Maya are lucky to have you and Nikki helping them)

Flash back si Ricky, as van with DE & DR drive away may nakita siyang mama who looked interested in wake. he approaches and man recognizes na he’s not from the place so Ricky introduces self as Maya’s bf. Man declines to come in bec he’s in a hurry.

Present time, Ricky watches while TA doing repairs to machine. TA looks up & recognizes Ricky but tries iwas-iwas. Ricky approaches to ask to talk in private. May gagawin pa raw si TA. Mamayang gabi na lang daw.

Saying I love you is something so simple yet all too often it is also something we take for granted. That tiny little three word phrase is one of the most powerful strings of words in the world that all of us long to hear, and saddest of all some may not hear it once. As a child it is something we often say without even thinking of it, yet as adults the words all too often become harder to say in some cases for reasons we don’t always understand even though we know how important saying it is.

It is important to say “I love you” because it is reassuring. As humans we all have vulnerabilities, especially when it comes to the way we perceive how others feel about us. The wife that goes days on end without actually hearing those words from her husband may get insecure and vise versa. Not hearing an I love you returned or spontaneously offered can create doubts because it is our natural reaction to let our mind wander and try to find reasons why those words have not been said. Usually the only reasons that are formulated are negative reasons, so saying I love you removes that doubt and reassures a person that everything is okay and there is no need to worry.

In a parent child relationship it lets each other know that even though they are not always going to see eye to eye on many things, it lets them know that disagreeing does not mean love is absent. For a child it is especially important that they hear they are loved often because it provides them with a sense of security. A part of growing up is making mistakes and getting into trouble which both sometimes lead to punishment or some negative outcome. It is important that they know that although they may have done something wrong, they are still loved.

It is important we tell people we love them because we cannot see the future. The reality of life is that death will eventually find us all and we never know when that will happen. There are few things sadder than watching a person carry the regret of not having told someone they were loved one last time, or even once at all and even sadder is when we say it for the first time at their funeral, when they can no longer hear it and feel it.

Love is not an emotion, but an action. It costs us nothing to say it and serves as one of the greatest medicines known to man, hearing I love you heals so many wounds. So remember to say it to someone everyday, and say it often to those you love.

Kahit kasi concerned lang ako sa show, pero parang namimintas lang ang tono ko, not all viewers are matured and wise enough to understand that I would just want the best for the show. At Fishball University, Luke, Louie, Inigo and Nicolo are hanging out (by the fishball stand). Jam shows up asking Luke if Nikki has a suitor? She got this idea from Stacy’s post to Nikki on FB that she shows Luke. It read: …..It looked like someone is making my best friend “kilig”. Will you be Ibarra’s Maria Clara?….. Jam remembered that Florante was the famous code name in the whole school before, now it is Ibarra. She wonders if the guys know who this Ibarra guy is? Nicolo said that maybe Stacy just made him up. We miss you and Don R) He gives her an update. She is pleased to know that Richard found Maya’s father but warned Ricky to expect resistance. She said he needs to be careful because they don’t really know how this man is going to react and what he is thinking. Richard understands. Dona E asked Richard how is Maya? Richard told her she is fine but sick right now (well Richard that is a double edged sentence. She couldn’t be fine if she is sick right? Or could someone be sick and be fine at the same time? Hmmmm *think) Dona E tells Richard to kiss Maya for her. (Dona E you tell him….kissy kissy time all the time is what we want ha ha….more PDA please!)

Luke and Nikki drop off Maya’s goodies at the condo to Ehman. There were a ton of bridal books and magazines for her to look at and make selections (samples of cakes and table decorations) and also the food that Manang Fe and Abby prepared for her. Ehman was just too happy to accept them all and take them up to his roomie.

Richard must be really bored because he is calling everyone under the sun again. But most importantly, he called his sweetheart Maya. He apologized if he woke her up. Maya said it is ok because it is time for her to take her meds. She asked him how he is and if he has made it to Cebu? Yes Richard said but he noticed that Maya sounded sick. Maya said she doesn’t feel too good but that the red spots are going away. She thinks by tomorrow she will be ok already. Richard told her that the kids stopped by at the condo. Maya knew they did but she did not get a chance to talk to them. Richard told her that is ok and that he will be back in Manila by tomorrow. He tells her he loves her and Maya said too. (Waaaaa! Richard said it first this time. He really misses her.)

Luke tried to study but is preoccupied by Nikki and her admission that Amiel is indeed courting her. He stops to call Nicolo. He tells him he is “bad trip” over finding out that Amiel is courting Nikki. “What?” Nicolo replied. “Nikki admitted?” He asked. Yes Luke said. Nicolo turns to Aira who is in the same room with him. He tells Aira that Luke confirmed that Amiel is courting Nikki. “See? You are too slow.” Aira responded while Nicolo shhh’s her. Luke heard Aira and asked him what is she talking about being slow? Nicolo said she is talking about him being slow in studying. Nicolo brought the conversation back to Nikki. He asked Luke what are her plans? Luke said that she is going to turn him down. He was surprised but felt happy about Nikki’s decision. Luke told him she knows she can’t be in a relationship right now. Luke is feeling sorry for Mokong Paperboy but he thinks it is his fault. Of all the girls he could have chosen, he had to choose Nikki. Nicolo agreed with Luke. To end their conversation, Luke told Nicolo he just wanted to update him about Nikki. After they hang up the phone, Aira tells Nicolo that he really need to come clean with Luke because sooner or later he is going to find out anyway how he feels for Nikki. It might be hard to admit but Nicolo knows she is right.

Lea Suetait is clearly understood that this serye sells the kilig factor of Ser Chief and Maya BUT this serye also WILL NOT BE A SUCCESS THAT IT IS UP TILL NOW WITHOUT THE EFFORT OF THE WHOLE CAST ENSEMBLE and that includes Nikki and Nicolo’s characters. i know the serye is not at its bes right nowt because of the absence of Maya and Kute’s characters but still the serye is able to make good episodes that propel the drama into new sub plots that are essential in tying loose ends. sensya at di mo na appreciate effort nila.

btw kung nandito ka lang dahil habol mo manuod lang ng puro kakiligan between Ser Chief and Maya to make your watching worthwhile aba eh tama nga lang naman na itigil mo na ang panunood kasi baka next week pa ang balik ni Maya at sigurado baka di ka pa masatisfy nun kasi syempre Maya will have no long exposures until she has fully recuperated. ayos yun para mabawasan din ang redundant comments at magiging masaya pa mga adiks.

nga pala karamihan sa adiks dito di gusto malaman na you have to turn off your tv kasi you find the episode boring and that it will be your last watch (maliban sa ibang kagaya mo na post post with redundant complains pero ewan why make time). no BORING word can sway an adik to stop watching BCWMH because a certain few have got nothing better to say.

It looks like I am on the mend.” Maya answers. She tells her goodnight and to get some rest. She tells her not to think about it anymore. Nikki thanks her again. (You are so lucky to have Ate Maya Niknik.)

At the Karaoke Bar, Richard orders beer and waits for Tay Arturo. He tried to get more information from the server pretending he wants to propose a business deal to him. The server said that he is a great guy and very kind. Richard asked him if he has a family? He said that Tay Arturo is alone and at times he would go visit an undisclosed province. This time, Tay Arturo arrives and he sees the server talking to Richard. He asked the server what they talked about? He said they were talking about him. Tay Arturo approached Richard at the table. Richard acknowledged his presence by standing up and shaking his hand.

Abby and Maya are talking on the phone. Miss Inquiring-Mind-Wants-to-Know Abby is interviewing Maya and asking her about her Dad. Abby asked her if he is dead? Maya said she does not know the whereabouts of her father. (Oh but your fiancé does Maya…uh huh…he is talking to him right now.) “But it has been fifteen years” Richard told Tay Arturo. (huh? Maya was only 10 when Tay Arturo left if my math is right) “I know, fifteen years had passed.” Tay Arturo said. “But it is never too late. Maya misses you.” Richard said. Amiel asks Nikki why she has been avoiding him? (uh oh Nikki you were not supposed to be avoiding him. You were supposed to go straight to the point and tell him the truth.) Amiel wants to know if it is because of him courting her? Nikki said yes and wants to talk to Amiel about it during lunch. Amiel wants to know if she is about to turn him down? (ummm what do you think?) At Fishball University, Nicolo tells Luke that he wants to court someone. Luke was excited for a moment but Nicolo told him that he really couldn’t. “Why not?” Asked Luke. If you really like the girl, you will find a way to do it. Really? Nicolo asked Luke. Yes, Luke said but he wants to know who is this girl? “I just want to make Maya happy.” Richard tells Tay Arturo. “Everything is ready for our wedding. She wants you to be there.” (hmmm Richard you don’t know that do you? You don’t know how Nay T, Kute and Maya really feel about him coming back to their lives. Or maybe there is something we need to know?) What Richard told Tatay Arturo brought a smile to his face.

I think that Tatay Arturo has indeed left the family because Mamang told him to go and never to come back after she found him with another woman. Maybe it was a one time accidental affair but he couldn’t defend himself to Mamang because he did make a mistake. But all these years, he never really left them. He probably observed them from afar and always watching them without them knowing. I guess we will know more in the next few episodes.

Jodi, please get well soon. Abby misses you, we miss you and Richard misses you.

Nung naiinip na si Ricky waiting for TA sa bar, he starts asking about TA sa isang waiter. Mabait daw, walang familia, pa-visit-visit lang sa province. So that’s why TA knew Mamang had died. Either may confidante siya sa SN (more unlikely) or nataon sa one of his regular visits. He put the flowers on Mamang’s grave siguro. for me, that would signify na wala siya sama ng loob kay Mamang. Kung walang sama ng loob de siguro totoong may nagawa siyang masama. Pero he regretted his mistake siguro kaya he really remained faithful to NT after that, walang other family. I’m eager to find out how the writers will flesh out TA’s story without Mamang appearing to be the contrabida for keeping him away from his family and at the same time allowing the most romantic place in the world to maintain its title in Maya’s mind…also without infecting Maya with negativity about the weakness of men. Magagaling talaga BCWMH writers sa pagbibilot-bilot ng istorya because they are always able to reconcile in unexpected ways the seemingly contradicting elements that crop up. Excited na ako for tomorrow’s episode. Truly, hindi pamasak butas lang yesterday’s and today’s episodes. They move the story along beautifully towards the culminating wedding.

DENNIS VILLACORTEMaraming salamat ulit, Ate Winn. Boy, I’m getting teary-eyed at the thought of Tay Arturo reuniting with his family, as a man also separated from the mother of his children. You are correct, we don’t know at this point if Richard’s statement about Maya wanting her father to be at the wedding is true. We have seen her lovingly speak to her father in spirit the moment after Richard proposed to Maya on the boat. Mostly, we’ve seen Nay Teresita perpetually longing for his memory. That’s truly all we know. But I will say, if Tay Arturo is welcomed back to the De La Rosa family with joy and excitement, the story will have found its natural conclusion. In other words, it will not be out of character for the female De La Rosa’s to react in such a way. My humble opinion.

Also excited how things will unfold regarding sa TA issue. The show’s style is different according to the producer when it was featured sa CLP. Hindi kasi nila sinimulan ang story sa childhood ni Maya unlike a typical teleserye.

I so love the episode. Not a filler indeed. Actually naman, kahit yun filler episodes ng bcwmh, is way way much better than the non-filler episodes of the other seryes.

This is the song that I heard as I reflected on what the theme of today’s episode. The characters of our story have a quest that they wish to follow. All of the fibers of their being are essentially engaged in the process of making their dream a reality, transforming their wish into something tangible and convert hope to truth. However, for one of them, accomplishing his dream is so important; it is equivalent to life and death. He feels that success, in attaining it, means life; failure means death. To him, accepting death is really quite easy. He feels that he has been spiritually dead for a long time now. The only thing that is keeping him alive is a spark of hope that maybe there is a chance in resurrecting what he used to have; that there is a chance that he will feel like he is still part of the living, not the undead. He badly wants to take that final step to fulfilling what he has only hoped for, wished for and dreamed of all these years but, at the same time, the fear that he might fail, gives him a pause to reconsider what he is about to do. Will the inevitable failure be worth all his effort or should he just be resigned to stay put and maintain his present status quo.

Tatay Arturo wants nothing more than to be reunited with his family. There was never a day that passed that he never thought about them. He obviously loves them very much. But taking the step towards reconciliation is the toughest thing to do. There will be questions and he does not know whether he has the satisfactory answers. There will be feelings of anger and hurt and he is unsure whether he even has the right to ask for forgiveness. Seventeen long years of unexplainable absence from his family. How can he even begin to bridge the gap that he caused them when he just simply disappeared without any warning. Many times he has tried to go back to San Nicolas to make things right but somehow almost always fear and shame takes control and, before he knows it, he is back to square one again.

Nanay Teresita has never forgotten the love of his life. She always has a tender spot in her heart for the father of her children. Although she does not have any idea why he could have just abandoned her with two young children to raise on her own, somehow, in her heart, she finds it hard to believe that he is that cruel. Deep in her heart, she feels that whatever his reasons are for leaving her and their two young girls, he must have had a valid reason. She believes that the man he loved and married is not capable of doing what he did. Consequently, if ever he came back into her life now, she will readily forgive him. She has always forgiven him. The love she feels for him is just that, pure and unquestionably unconditional. But the question is, is he even still alive? Will he come back to them if he is? If he is indeed alive, what is keeping him? Why is it taking him so long to find his way back home to her?

Maya has always believed that her parents had the best marriage. After all, they made the commitment to love and to live with each other for as long as they both shall live right there under that tree in the most romantic place in San Nicolas. Her mother believes it to be so. Hence, she also believes it to be so. Strange that she has been thinking a lot about him lately. It must be because she is about to be married. Usually, in this very important milestone in a girl’s life, she would want her father to be present at her wedding. If only her father could see her getting married, she would be the happiest girl in the world. Her joy would literally be complete if that happens.

All three have independently dreamed of a family reunion. Each thinks that such a dream would be next to impossible. However, unbeknownst to them, there is someone in their midst who is going to engineer the realization of their dreams. Richard is hard at work in being the conduit for all three to be reunited. Through him, their dreams, which happen to be one and the same, will indeed come true!

Christopher Reeve is quoted to have said, “So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable.”

You’re really good, Sir Chief/Ricky doing the things to meet Maya’s dad. You’re really such a good family man. Congrats! Sir Chief/Ricky. By the way, Sir Chief, are there any “sweet words” to call each other. instead of just “Ricky” or “Maya”, can you call each other as: “Luv”, ” Honey”, “Hon”,”Sweetheart”, “Sweet”, “Beybs”, just a suggestion. If all the characters were having a hard time for their schedules everyday for the taping of BCWMH, why not make this as 1 day in a week after the wedding so that your fans/followers will still be happy seeing “Ricky n Maya” continously as well with the whole cast playing each role in BCWMH. I love it that Kuya Luke is getting oh so protective!  Yung Jernella scenes ang nakapagpahappy sa akin today, kotang kota. They are soo bagay talaga! Bakit ba gusto ko yung nahihirapan ako?!  Pero in fairness, havey ang nagmomonologue na Nikki at Niccolo! Ang galing ng mga bagets!

And nice touch there on the flashback ha? Just goes to show that nakalatag na ang plot ng show weeks before pa.  Hindi pa nga lang natetape kasi nga sa sched ng artists pero with the concept, on how the story will go, mukha namang well-planned na. And for that, bow.

Tawag tawa kasi ako! Nung nasa wedding planner na sila, tapos sinabi na BLUE ang motif and AVIATION ang theme, naisip ko, ano bang shade ng blue kasi madaming shade so tweet tweet ako agad, ayun pagplay ko, readyng ready na si Corinne sa kanyang color palette. I love Corinne’s ENERGY! Promise! Yung feeling na excited ka na nga sa kasal, sobra sobra, dadagdagan pa ng energy niyaaa. I love it when they talked about the souvenirs, invites, cakes, gowns, seems like a real wedding to me!

As I was reading this post, what stuck out in my memory was when Maya turned down Wilson’s desire to court her. I remember that she was straightforward with him. She simply just explained to him her reasons and wanted the two of them to just be friends. Initially, Wilson felt dejected but he soon accepted that it is actually wiser for him not to pursue Maya romantically. I am sure that Nikki will be able to express her thoughts to Amiel and have almost the same result as her Ate Maya did. They will stay as friends. Now, Nicolo showing his cards to Luke? I would have to see that! My guess, I don’t think he will. He is too scared of the latter. But let us just wait and see how the writers will iron this one out.

Zel MLAYING ONE’S CARDS ON THE TABLE

Laying one’s cards on the table is an idiomatic expression derived from a card game (poker) wherein the player in his desire to keep his cards unknown to others, keeps it close to his chest, or hides them, using tricks, techniques and finally reveal everything when it’s time by laying all the cards on the table showing the cards whether or not the cards would beat the other player’s cards. And such phrase means to tell everything about the issue at hand, as honestly, frankly and open as can be, without any tricks to confuse, revealing one’s position, thinking or intentions.

When Luke confronted Nikki about Amiel, Nikki was left with no choice but to come clean with her Kuya Luke telling him the truth that Amiel in fact was pursuing her and that she did try evading him although he was rather persistent in courting her. She then asked Luke’s advice on what to do of which Luke said to simply dump him instead of evading, plain and simple. He emphasized that evading would only hurt more in the end rather than being honest about the whole thing. And as Nikki tried to compose what she will be saying to Amiel, she was having a hard time how best to say it without being too cliche or sounding too harsh that she simply gave up and sought her Ate Maya’s wisdom. Maya reiterated Luke’s sentiments and to be straightforward… telling only the truth. Somehow getting Ate Maya’s unwavering support appeased Nikki, calmed her down and only then did she had been at peace with herself.

On the other end, Niccolo’s situation is rather complicated than Nikki as long time relationships are at stake should he lay his cards on the table and come clean with his new-found feelings for Nikki. While he recognized Iñigo and Aira’s counsel and deep within him, agreeing with them, he simply couldn’t find the right words to say to Luke without jeopardizing their friendship. He tried practicing what he would say by highlighting the good side of Nikki that is endearing somehow justifying his unintentional romantic feelings for her. He got so frustrated that he stopped and gave up the thought for the night. When he got the courage to tell Luke that he liked this girl but opting not to pursue courting her for some undisclosed reason, Luke got interested and nudged Niccolo who he liked. Let’s see how Niccolo will finally come clean with his best friend Luke. Will he be able to tell Luke honestly that it’s Nikki all along? Or will he evade telling him the truth buying him more time to ponder? And if he does tell the truth, will Luke take it lightly? How will the revelation affect their friendship? Will it then be the beginning of an end?

Knowing that every lie, every act of dishonesty will come back to haunt us in time, is it then worth hiding the truth? For no matter how much the truth may hurt, it will never hurt as bad as the betrayal that comes with living a lie. Speaking the truth and being honest to a friend or loved one ultimately gives a clear conscience, peace of mind, and the courage to proceed without fear. Truth, after all adds strength to our minds… courage to our hearts… joy to our soul… motivation and inspiration to a great and enriched life.

It will be a very shocking pleaseant suprise to the Dela Rosa family of San Nicolas to know the whereabout of Arturo. What he has been up to in the last 15 years, no new family?… . Should I say there should be a compeling reason why he stays away from his family, beside what Mamang said she caught him womanizing. What would the dela Rosa feel and think about Mamang kicked Arturo out of their life?….. Will he come to Maya’s wedding to give his daughter away?. That remains to be seen. There will be a lot of drama for sure. I remember Nanay T said she will accept him with an open arm (open mind?) no matter what the reason he left the family in the first place. Maya all these years thought her parents honestly love each other and devoted to each other. Will she change her mind on the meaning or notion of “true love”if she finds out her father went astray on her mother if that is the case? Tama na nga….too many to mention.

I would like to see more of Atty Ryan while JSM is away and sick. I saw him as a regular (?) cast sa Galema where Divina Valencia also went. BCWMH and Galema belong to the same teleserye business unit so was Dugong Buhay where Sunshine Cruz starred and now with Galema. This info is irrelevant, but I see there is a continuity of work assignment of the stars within the same business unit of ABS-CBN…. I was just saying…. Don’t mind me OC lang ako..

What I loved about this episode is the integrity that the creative team wanted to keep at the bar. They are in Cebu so they speak Cebuano. I really appreciated that they didn’t have the extras at the bar speak Tagalog. It would have been appropriate if Richard, who at one time mentioned that being in his position it is necessary for him to also learn other languages, would also have spoken their language. That would have been awesome. I thought the team missed out on this opportunity.
As usual, you delivered the goods again. Another great spanking job! Wiiiiiieeeeee!

Pag si Anne Curtis, kasama ni RY sa movie, puede bilang anak niya na lang? Di ko maimagine as other woman, ghelfrend o wife niya si Anne. Si Jodi kahit bata pero parang matured for her age yung image pero si Anne, parang sosyalera na dalaga ang peg. I can’t see Anne in a mother role and RY in a role other than a responsible or father figure.

I can see them in a Filipino style remake of Pretty Woman. I’d really like to see Richard Yap extend himself beyond his comfort zone…para makita na natin siya sa mga SPG na matagal nang ninanasa ng mga sisterzzz.

When Amiel told Nikki that she should be Maria Clara so that he would be effective as Ibarra, Stacey gets kilig and tweets / post on FB …..she finds that both Amiel and Nikki are comfortable in their roles and seems to be compatible so Stacey asks Nikki is there something that I do not know?

When Nikki finds out what Stacey had posted, she expected repercussions from Luke. Luke in turn calls Nikki and tells her if she is allowing someone to court her, he will tell Dad.

Nikki and Luke continue at the house and are reprimanded by Manang Fe to stop fighting because your father is relying on you two, to meet with the wedding planner

At the wedding planner, Luke insists that Nikki talks to him. All Luke is asking is for Nikki to be honest with him, no secrets. Nikki finally shares with Luke that yes Amiel is courting her, but Luke had to promise first that he does not get mad. Asking Luke what she is to do, Luke suggests that Nikki should stop him now instead of avoiding and letting him go on which will be painful.

See Nikki, being honest at the outset would have nipped it in the bud just as your Kuya Luke stated.

Nicolo on the other hand is updated by Luke and Aira hears Nicolo’s part of the conversation and tells Nicolo that he should come clean with Luke.

The scene that alternates between Nikki and Nicolo practicing what to say was very appropriate. To all the negative traits Nikki recites about herself, Nicolo enumerates the positive traits of Nikki that made him love her.

But as usual, Nikki still had to call Ate Maya and she tells Nikki to be just honest, no beating around the bush.

Nikki and Luke with the wedding planner chooses the color for the motif and Ms. Corrine suggests a complement color so it will be majority blue but with a touch of yellow…..Nikki requests that it should be presented to Ate Maya as she will make the final decision. So Ms. Corrine and Chinky prepares samples of all that they will be needing for the wedding for Maya’s final decision which Nikki and Luke drops off at the Condo through Emman, including the food given by Abby. The aviation theme to follow as Ms. Corrine will have to research and study before presenting her recommendation on the suggested theme.

Richard in Cebu is escorted by the PI to Tatay Arturo’s house and later to the Videoke Bar. And when the PI points out Arturo Dela Rosa to Richard, Richard remembers that he had seen him at San Nicolas during Mamang’s wake and even talked to him. After introducing himself, Tatay Arturo still had something to do and they agreed to meet that night.

Richard updates Dona Esmeralda and had a chance to talk to Maya over the phone….Maya still sounding sick but tells Ricky she feels she’ll be better by tomorrow. ILYs are exchanged.

Back at the Videoke Bar, Arturo finally meets Richard…….and talks, it’s been 15 years, but it’s never too late…….

Abby sweet Abby talks to Ate Maya about not having a father for her wedding, Maya tells Abby she does not really know where her father is……..(funny Doris this is the 2nd time you are sleeping while Abby is still wide awake).

Amiel asks Nikki why she is avoiding him, Nikki asks him if they could talk at lunch……Amiel responds, are you going to tell me no?

Sorry Amiel, it is really not yet appropriate for Nikki, so if you truly like her, just be a good friend and enjoy your interest in theater, at least you get to be with Nikki and will really get to know her for who she is …..you might have a second chance when Nikki is in College.

Luke himself tells Nicolo that if he truly loves someone he will find a way to overcome problems. Nicolo reacts……really? (Oh Luke, you have just given Nicolo a lifeline to Nikki’s heart and you do not even know it).

Same sentiment, I dont see Anne and Ry na bagay. Pero I like Anne ha! Di lang for RY. Solid JSM ako. While watching the interview, sa isip ko, consistent si RY of his admiration for Anne and Dawn. I was like, ano kaya ang reaction natin if isinama niya si JSM sa “persons-he-finds-attractive” naku naku

I so love the episode. Not a filler indeed. Actually naman, kahit yun filler episodes ng bcwmh, is way way much better than the non-filler episodes of the other seryes.

Jodi has been known to be very professional kaya I suppose hanggang trabaho lang ang kilig-kilig na yan (no matter how I wish otherwise ). And in line with this, kahit may sakit na trabaho pa rin ang inaatupag. Kaya siguro love na love rin siya ni Boss Gabby! I hope she has rested enough though.

We miss you and Don R) He gives her an update. She is pleased to know that Richard found Maya’s father but warned Ricky to expect resistance. She said he needs to be careful because they don’t really know how this man is going to react and what he is thinking. Richard understands. Dona E asked Richard how is Maya? Richard told her she is fine but sick right now (well Richard that is a double edged sentence. She couldn’t be fine if she is sick right? Or could someone be sick and be fine at the same time? Hmmmm *think) Dona E tells Richard to kiss Maya for her. (Dona E you tell him….kissy kissy time all the time is what we want ha ha….more PDA please!)

Luke and Nikki drop off Maya’s goodies at the condo to Ehman. There were a ton of bridal books and magazines for her to look at and make selections (samples of cakes and table decorations) and also the food that Manang Fe and Abby prepared for her. Ehman was just too happy to accept them all and take them up to his roomie.

Richard must be really bored because he is calling everyone under the sun again. But most importantly, he called his sweetheart Maya. He apologized if he woke her up. Maya said it is ok because it is time for her to take her meds. She asked him how he is and if he has made it to Cebu? Yes Richard said but he noticed that Maya sounded sick. Maya said she doesn’t feel too good but that the red spots are going away. She thinks by tomorrow she will be ok already. Richard told her that the kids stopped by at the condo. Maya knew they did but she did not get a chance to talk to them. Richard told her that is ok and that he will be back in Manila by tomorrow. He tells her he loves her and Maya said too. (Waaaaa! Richard said it first this time. He really misses her.)

Luke tried to study but is preoccupied by Nikki and her admission that Amiel is indeed courting her. He stops to call Nicolo. He tells him he is “bad trip” over finding out that Amiel is courting Nikki. “What?” Nicolo replied. “Nikki admitted?” He asked. Yes Luke said. Nicolo turns to Aira who is in the same room with him. He tells Aira that Luke confirmed that Amiel is courting Nikki. “See? You are too slow.” Aira responded while Nicolo shhh’s her. Luke heard Aira and asked him what is she talking about being slow? Nicolo said she is talking about him being slow in studying. Nicolo brought the conversation back to Nikki. He asked Luke what are her plans? Luke said that she is going to turn him down. He was surprised but felt happy about Nikki’s decision. Luke told him she knows she can’t be in a relationship right now. Luke is feeling sorry for Mokong Paperboy but he thinks it is his fault. Of all the girls he could have chosen, he had to choose Nikki. Nicolo agreed with Luke. To end their conversation, Luke told Nicolo he just wanted to update him about Nikki. After they hang up the phone, Aira tells Nicolo that he really need to come clean with Luke because sooner or later he is going to find out anyway how he feels for Nikki. It might be hard to admit but Nicolo knows she is right.

And let’s face it, although we would like both RY and JSM to grow pa as artists, hindi na rin siguro magiging ganun kadali for the viewing public to accept them in roles very far from what they are portraying now, nor yung i-partner sila sa iba.

Kahit hindi niya include si Jodi sa list of persons he finds attractive, nagulat ako when he mentioned LEGS as the part he finds most attractive in Jodi when almost everyone else, including Jodi, would automatically say DOE-EYES. Parang Superman, may X-ray vision tagos sa scrub suits ni yaya.

At the Karaoke Bar, Richard orders beer and waits for Tay Arturo. He tried to get more information from the server pretending he wants to propose a business deal to him. The server said that he is a great guy and very kind. Richard asked him if he has a family? He said that Tay Arturo is alone and at times he would go visit an undisclosed province. This time, Tay Arturo arrives and he sees the server talking to Richard. He asked the server what they talked about? He said they were talking about him. Tay Arturo approached Richard at the table. Richard acknowledged his presence by standing up and shaking his hand.

When she first met RY, she thought she was getting an heredero. But she chose to stick with him even after he was disowned for choosing her. I can imagine her being the main source of support for the family when RY was just starting out with the furniture company at being an heredero nga e hindi pa sanay makibaka sa mundo.

Abby and Maya are talking on the phone. Miss Inquiring-Mind-Wants-to-Know Abby is interviewing Maya and asking her about her Dad. Abby asked her if he is dead? Maya said she does not know the whereabouts of her father. (Oh but your fiancé does Maya…uh huh…he is talking to him right now.) “But it has been fifteen years” Richard told Tay Arturo. (huh? Maya was only 10 when Tay Arturo left if my math is right) “I know, fifteen years had passed.” Tay Arturo said. “But it is never too late. Maya misses you.” Richard said. Amiel asks Nikki why she has been avoiding him? (uh oh Nikki you were not supposed to be avoiding him. You were supposed to go straight to the point and tell him the truth.) Amiel wants to know if it is because of him courting her? Nikki said yes and wants to talk to Amiel about it during lunch. Amiel wants to know if she is about to turn him down? (ummm what do you think?) At Fishball University, Nicolo tells Luke that he wants to court someone. Luke was excited for a moment but Nicolo told him that he really couldn’t. “Why not?” Asked Luke. If you really like the girl, you will find a way to do it. Really? Nicolo asked Luke. Yes, Luke said but he wants to know who is this girl? “I just want to make Maya happy.” Richard tells Tay Arturo. “Everything is ready for our wedding. She wants you to be there.” (hmmm Richard you don’t know that do you? You don’t know how Nay T, Kute and Maya really feel about him coming back to their lives. Or maybe there is something we need to know?) What Richard told Tatay Arturo brought a smile to his face.

I think that Tatay Arturo has indeed left the family because Mamang told him to go and never to come back after she found him with another woman. Maybe it was a one time accidental affair but he couldn’t defend himself to Mamang because he did make a mistake. But all these years, he never really left them. He probably observed them from afar and always watching them without them knowing. I guess we will know more in the next few episodes.

Jodi, please get well soon. Abby misses you, we miss you and Richard misses you.

DENNIS VILLACORTEMaraming salamat ulit, Ate Winn. Boy, I’m getting teary-eyed at the thought of Tay Arturo reuniting with his family, as a man also separated from the mother of his children. You are correct, we don’t know at this point if Richard’s statement about Maya wanting her father to be at the wedding is true. We have seen her lovingly speak to her father in spirit the moment after Richard proposed to Maya on the boat. Mostly, we’ve seen Nay Teresita perpetually longing for his memory. That’s truly all we know. But I will say, if Tay Arturo is welcomed back to the De La Rosa family with joy and excitement, the story will have found its natural conclusion. In other words, it will not be out of character for the female De La Rosa’s to react in such a way. My humble opinion.

Corazon Tiawow! magiging buo na ang familya de la Rosa, magiging masayang-masaya si Maya sa wedding nya at siempre pati na rin sina Nay Teresita, Kute at Cho. Matapos ang mahabang araw ko (na inabot na ng gabi!), I really enjoyed watching the episode today. Feeling ko boxes and boxes of tissue ang mauubos sa pagkikita nina Tatay Art at ng buong pamilya Dela Rosa.

When Amiel told Nikki that she should be Maria Clara so that he would be effective as Ibarra, Stacey gets kilig and tweets / post on FB …..she finds that both Amiel and Nikki are comfortable in their roles and seems to be compatible so Stacey asks Nikki is there something that I do not know?

When Nikki finds out what Stacey had posted, she expected repercussions from Luke. Luke in turn calls Nikki and tells her if she is allowing someone to court her, he will tell Dad.

Nikki and Luke continue at the house and are reprimanded by Manang Fe to stop fighting because your father is relying on you two, to meet with the wedding planner

At the wedding planner, Luke insists that Nikki talks to him. All Luke is asking is for Nikki to be honest with him, no secrets. Nikki finally shares with Luke that yes Amiel is courting her, but Luke had to promise first that he does not get mad. Asking Luke what she is to do, Luke suggests that Nikki should stop him now instead of avoiding and letting him go on which will be painful.

See Nikki, being honest at the outset would have nipped it in the bud just as your Kuya Luke stated.

Nicolo on the other hand is updated by Luke and Aira hears Nicolo’s part of the conversation and tells Nicolo that he should come clean with Luke.

The scene that alternates between Nikki and Nicolo practicing what to say was very appropriate. To all the negative traits Nikki recites about herself, Nicolo enumerates the positive traits of Nikki that made him love her.

But as usual, Nikki still had to call Ate Maya and she tells Nikki to be just honest, no beating around the bush.

Nikki and Luke with the wedding planner chooses the color for the motif and Ms. Corrine suggests a complement color so it will be majority blue but with a touch of yellow…..Nikki requests that it should be presented to Ate Maya as she will make the final decision. So Ms. Corrine and Chinky prepares samples of all that they will be needing for the wedding for Maya’s final decision which Nikki and Luke drops off at the Condo through Emman, including the food given by Abby. The aviation theme to follow as Ms. Corrine will have to research and study before presenting her recommendation on the suggested theme.

Richard in Cebu is escorted by the PI to Tatay Arturo’s house and later to the Videoke Bar. And when the PI points out Arturo Dela Rosa to Richard, Richard remembers that he had seen him at San Nicolas during Mamang’s wake and even talked to him. After introducing himself, Tatay Arturo still had something to do and they agreed to meet that night.

Richard updates Dona Esmeralda and had a chance to talk to Maya over the phone….Maya still sounding sick but tells Ricky she feels she’ll be better by tomorrow. ILYs are exchanged.

Back at the Videoke Bar, Arturo finally meets Richard…….and talks, it’s been 15 years, but it’s never too late…….

Abby sweet Abby talks to Ate Maya about not having a father for her wedding, Maya tells Abby she does not really know where her father is……..(funny Doris this is the 2nd time you are sleeping while Abby is still wide awake).

Amiel asks Nikki why she is avoiding him, Nikki asks him if they could talk at lunch……Amiel responds, are you going to tell me no?

Sorry Amiel, it is really not yet appropriate for Nikki, so if you truly like her, just be a good friend and enjoy your interest in theater, at least you get to be with Nikki and will really get to know her for who she is …..you might have a second chance when Nikki is in College.

Luke himself tells Nicolo that if he truly loves someone he will find a way to overcome problems. Nicolo reacts……really? (Oh Luke, you have just given Nicolo a lifeline to Nikki’s heart and you do not even know it).

Dahil sa pasasalamat ko sa pm ni cyberowl last night at dahil napakinggan ko si Mitoy sa Umagang Kay Ganda, na-inspire akong bumak-up kay Ricky Boy sa pakikipag-usap niya kay Tatay Arturo mamayang gabi. At ito po ang aking aawitin sa tagisan ng videoke:

Napanood ko din si mitoy sa UKG. At naalala ko yung song na yan na-mention dito sa pex dedicated to sc and maya.

Nasa showbiz news din ang bcwmh. Binalita lang ang mga kaganapan at dapat abangan sa show like pagkikita nina SC and TA; pagtatapat ba ni nicolo kay luke re nikki; may dengue si Maya, etc.

Kung bata pa si Nikki, wala naman dapat kaso kay Luke kung mangangako si Niccolo na hihintayin naman niya si NikkNikk na tumanda

Ganyang-ganyan ang ginawa ng Tatay ko sa Nanay ko. Alam na ng labing-isang kapatid ng Nanay ko at ng parents nila ang lahat pero wala pang kaalam-alam Nanay ko. Akala tuloy niya kaya laging dumadalaw dahil sa older sister niya. Boto sila lahat sa Tatay ko kasi mala Sir Chief and diskarte at wala ring bisyo. Pero pang Da Voice siya…ay, hindi rin yata. Kasi sabi ng Nanay ko, nung older na siya hindi naman daw talaga lumigaw pa pero pinapabasa daw sa kaniya lyrics ng songs sa songhits!!! Sadly, sa Tatay ako nagmana ng voice and looks, kaya pag pinapasyal ko ang mestisa kong Nanay e mukhang adopted lang ako. Or worse, napagkakamalang yaya!!!! Ahahahay!!! Buti na lang namana ko rin ang utak ng Tatay ko!

Kahit wala si Maya,maayos pa rin ang episode kahapon.Concentrate muna sila sa ibang plots.Focus muna kay TA.Lahat naman gusto malaman what happened to him at bakit di sya bumalik sa family nya.

321  Date Aired: October 4, 2013…. The whole family is worried. Ano na ba talagang nangyari kay Maya?

O hayan………..nagtatanong na si bebe ghel sa Ate niya about her kyoot friend. Hehehe………………fake mallows ang tawag ni abby kay Amiel!

Pwede bang mabuking na sa madla kung sino si real Mallows, yaman din lang na nabuking na ni Abby kung sino si fake Mallows.

Winnie R OntiverosAbby is on the phone with Maya. She tells her how she couldn’t sleep worried about her. Maya tells her not to worry because she is now feeling better and seems to be on the mend. Abby asked her if she is going to her trip with Lola Nanay to Bohol? Maya said yes they are. Abby is writing down a list of the things she wants to send Cho when she sees Lola Nanay. Maya told Abby she appreciates her being such a good friend to Cho. Abby said her and Cho are the same. “How are you the same?” Asked Maya. Abby explained to her that Cho does not have his Father and she does not have her Mommy. Maya explained to Abby that Cho’s Papa Pards is only working in Dubai. Abby understands but she said it is all the same because he is still not with Cho. (Good point Abby.) “How about you Ate Maya, you don’t have your Dad anymore either right?” Abby asked. “Yes Baby” Maya answered. “Is he already in heaven?” Abby asked.

Richard is in Cebu meeting with Tatay Arturo. They made arrangements to meet in the evening at Tatay Arturo’s Karaoke Bar. In the first scene, Richard noticed him limping as he approached him. He asked Tatay Arturo what happened to his leg? Tatay Arturo did not answer. Instead he sat down at the table in front of them. Richard began their conversation by telling him that Maya and him are getting married and it would be great if he could come to the wedding.

Maya told Abby that she doesn’t know where her father is right now. Abby asked why? Maya said he didn’t tell them. Abby wondered why he didn’t tell them? Maya said she does not know either but she confided in Abby that she has a secret. Abby wants to know what it is. Maya told her that she is always praying that one day she would find her father. Abby told her that she would help her Ate Maya pray. (aaww Abby you are such a sweet girl) Maya thanked Baby Abby and asked her to keep this a secret. Abby promised that no one would know. Maya said Abby is such a good Baby. She wishes she were there to hug her. Abby told Maya not to worry because when she gets married to her Dad, she would have a lot of family again. (Awwww their conversation warms my heart.)

Nagpapadala na si Maya sa ospital kay Emman. Chine-check na si Maya ng doktor…………

Dengue…………may dengue nga si Maya………mababa na raw ang platelet count………….ti-tignan if need ng bloodtransfusion……….di raw alam ni emman what to do sabi niya kay MF.

We see ourselves in the mirror for a variety of reasons – we take a glimpse of ourselves as others see us, so we pay extra attention to make sure that we are presentable and make sure that we look pleasing. It’s our chance to see if something’s odd or not quite right so we can do something to iron it out and make it right… we can enhance to our preference, by putting some color, shaping our brows or just combing our tresses to our preferred style. But looking deeper into the mirror, we see ourselves beyond the physical aspects and well into our core, our soul, our life and instantaneously, we see our lives playing like in a movie, giving us nips and bits of the path we have taken, right before our very eyes. Just sometimes, when we get to talk to another person, knowing his or her story, it’s as if we are seeing ourselves in the mirror as we think of ourselves in the person’s story like we could very well fit into the person’s shoes. Realizing that we could be in their shoes, we identify with the person and we empathize and tend to see things in a unique way… in a different perspective.

Initially, all Richard wanted to do was locate Tatay Arturo (TA) to make Maya happy. He wanted it so badly that he hired a Private Investigator to search for his whereabouts. But with the wedding preparations keeping him busy, it slipped from his attention until Abby brought it all up when they witnessed a wedding facilitated by Corrine, the wedding planner. He then realized the urgency of the search and getting new details from Maya unknown to her, ended the search sooner. He flew to Cebu right after confirming that the Private Investigation had the correct Arturo dela Rosa. When they (Richard and the PI) didn’t find TA in his home, they proceeded to his Bar Restaurant and waited for him there. When the PI pointed TA to Richard when he arrived at the Bar, seeing TA, Richard remembered seeing and talking to him at Mamang’s wake, inviting him even to go inside which he declined and hurriedly left. When they sat down to talk, Richard informed him of their upcoming wedding and that it would make Maya happy if he would be there on that important day. Richard asked what happened and TA told him that he couldn’t possibly go back to his family after what he had done 15 years back turning his back on them for another woman. Richard felt that he had been watching over his family and that he could feel that he still loved them and cared for them all these years and knowing that, he asked TA if he didn’t want to come back. Richard had so much to say, that Maya still misses him and loves him that’s why if he couldn’t come to the wedding although he still would want him to be there for the wedding, he suggested that he could arrange for the two of them to meet up and have dinner they could talk things out. He mentioned that he’s missing a lot by not returning to his family, he had been missing just how wonderful his family is – Maya, Nanay Teresita, Kute and Cho, all of them were simply amazing and great with the biggest of hearts.

After TA thanked Richard for caring genuinely for Maya, he left Richard to check with his staff; Richard was left alone deep in his thoughts. And when he got back to his hotel, he called Abby but Manang Fe answered it with Abby already fast sleep. Richard let out a big sigh and shared to Manang Fe just how lucky he had been to be able to go home to his kids every night while some men weren’t as lucky. Deep in his thought, Richard could be thinking about TA and somehow saw himself in Tatay Arturo… for they may had different circumstances but somehow they shared some similarities. And he might just felt that while he had several second chances with his kids and his father, Don Roberto, Tatay Arturo should also have that chance to right his wrong and make it right knowing fully well that he still loves his family and had actually been watching over them all these years without them knowing about it. And that if not for Maya, he may never had that precious second chance with his kids… he could have continued with how he had been with them – having heated arguments with Luke, never really seeing eye to eye with him pushing him even further; or forever harming Nikki’s growth by robbing her of her youth having to take on the role left by her mom, caring for the entire family, ensuring the family be together in activities, ensuring they spend as much time together, even cooking whenever Richard could make it to dinner and looking after Abby and covering up Luke’s mischiefs; and Abby going thru her childhood still traumatized, unable to talk and speak her mind.

At pag-uwi ni RICKY,sinabi na ni MF sa alaga niya na may dengue si mahal na prinsesa.

Si Amiel at Nikki nasa library……..ask ni amiel bakit si ina-avoid ni ghel……usap daw sila at lunchtime sabi ni Nikki.

At heto na ang scene ng AMINAN.

HIndi nasabi ni Mallows kay BESPREN kung sino!

Nasa ospital na si MF at SC………….Emman was there too.

Si MF pumunta na sa room ni Maya while naiwan si SC with the doctor.

Diagnosis ni doc: Dengue fever palang and not hemorrhagic fever.

Zel MAnd all because he had succumbed to his personal grief that he didn’t realized what his personal grief had done to the kids until Maya pulled him out of his own rut and made him realized all the things he had been missing all these time. And just when he had regained his relationship with his kids and gotten back his family, Maya yet again helped him ironed out his long standing rift with his Dad that dated back to when he and Alex started their family. He felt that he had so many second chances making it right to his kids and his father all with Maya’s help and this time around he could be the one to bridge Tatay Arturo back to the loving fold of his family knowing that all these years, he had secretly been watching over them even from afar, loving and caring for them while he kept all emotions with himself unable to make things right and show his family how he had kept them in his heart and mind all these years. Richard in his mind, they may have different circumstances but they both shared similarities for they both abandoned their kids somehow, while he may had been present and together with the kids day in and day out, but truth was, he wasn’t really there for them, he didn’t make them feel loved and cared for as he had been too caught up with his own grief and too distant that the kids simply were afraid to even say goodnight let alone kiss him goodnight.

On the other hand, TA disappeared on his family, on Maya, Kute and NAnay Teresita to spare them of the pain of his actions not knowing why he suddenly disappeared but opted to watched over them all these years, caring and loving them even from afar… from a safe distance, not wanting to ruin the peace that the whole family enjoyed even if he was dying inside not being able to be with his family, never able to say ILYs… never able to hug them freely let alone spend quality time with them. But the difference between these two men had been Richard had that precious gift of second chances to his kids and his father while TA had been without that second chance. He was fortunate he had an angel in Maya to hand held him back to his kids and father that he felt compelled to do as she had… that he would give back and not give up in his quest to help out TA get that second chance too. For him, he just needed to try and try he will until he convinces TA that it’s worth a second try, knowing how loving and forgiving the Dela Rosa women really are.

The need to be loved and to give love is a basic human need. We can, however, justify the need for closure if a relationship cannot be saved based on implications of the actions or choices we make along the way. If we have made mistakes, serious ones or otherwise, there is always another chance for us to redeem ourselves. What we call failure may not be the falling down but rather the staying down. After all, second chances are given every day of our lives and more often, opportunity do come disguised in the form of misfortune, temporary defeat or whatever circumstances that may arise unfortunately we see past thru them, we ignore them or we simply don’t take them, but they’re there for the taking.

All we really need is to reach for the sky, take that second chance before it slips by… for that is there for the taking if only we are brave enough to take them and fly… with that chance to seek for forgiveness and to right the wrongs and hopefully start anew. Life, after all always offers us a second chance… called TOMORROW.

Managed to watched the streaming…naging ala-comedy naman ang dating sa akin ng scenes ni SC sa hospital.
PaRang nandidiri lang kay Maya  given na hindi talaga si Maya yun..pero come on.
Kilig sana yung last line nya sa teaser pero sorry, di talaga convincing yung dating.

tumawag si RICKy kay Kute to tell Maya’s condition………..Si kute sinabi na kay NT……….kaya postpone na ang trip ni NT instead paluwas na siya para Manila.

Nagusap si Nt at Ricky……………bakitdi raw sinabi Ricky sa kanila kaagad ang condition ni Maya……….Ricky said he should have insisted daw.

Next scene:Kute and Cho………kino-comfort ni Kute si CHo about Maya…………….pero mukhang worried na rin talaga si Kute sa kapatid niya.

Have not watched the episode pa pero di kaya instructed ni Direk si Ricardo not to be too close to ‘Maya’ para di masyadong ma-SOCO ng mga adiks? Hahaha.

The heavens must have heard me when I prayed very hard na sana wag i kiss ni Ricky Baby si Double M.

Tess DowThis week must have been tough to all involved in BCWMH with Maya/JSM and Kute/AS being away but they rose above these challenges. Their talent goes without falter and their creativity adapts to the demand of sudden changes.

Friday’s episode gave me tears especially the dialogue between SC and Tatay Arturo. Then when Kute told Nanay T about Maya being in the hospital and on the teaser when SC said he may not be able to cope if something happens to Maya.

Tatay Arturo’s reason for leaving is surprisingly simple but common to us filipinos and perhaps in other culture. However the lack of bitterness from the Dela Rosa family especially Nanay T and Maya seems to be suspiciously off. I m not looking for heavy drama but I can’t wait what Nanay T’s reason for not harboring any ill feelings.

I hope the creative team will give us something that we can relate to. I still want the family to be whole again (the filipino in me). It is every child’s dream that their parents get back together regardless if the relationship was bad. Not the case for those who lives outside the realm of filipino culture of course, but I am just saying.

It also show’s the rapport between RY and JSM are exclusive only to both of them because RY was standing a bit awkward in the hospital scene. How he moved and stood at the hospital and what he said to Manang Fe later were also off. It must be difficult to act to a double. Anyway I was still moved by RY.

I also wish from the creative team that when Nicolo discloses his true feelings for Nikki to Luke, it will be considered a big moment. I think this is a big act. It requires full attention. Hindi yung sa corridor or phone or just passing lang. Wishful thinking ko lang.

It is so cute that Abby admires fake Mallows. She has a child crush on Amiel which I know very well happens in real people.

I am so happy that Kute is back. It is not the same without her.

Oo nga, iba na si Christina Rose.

Pero the way, he said ‘Maya’ noong nagkita sila ni SC sa lamay, parang updated siya sa nangyayari sa family niya na iniwan.

But overall, people behind the show should really be commended for being able to come up with a decent episode, incoporate Maya’s real ailment and not deviate far from the storyline, notwithstanding the limitations and difficulties they are presently confronted with. The episode still had substance and was not just a filler.

Hot WasabiTELLING THE TRUTH

Being truthful should be a natural act. Parents inculcate into young children during their formative years that it is important to tell the truth and to be honest at all times. However, as the child grows, he instinctively develops a sense of when truth is shared. He slowly acquires a sense of gauging the proper timing and the proper way to share the truth. The characters of our story share with us the nuances in exercising when to be truthful and when it may be best to delay sharing it.

Nicolo is visibly torn. He wants to share with his best friend what is heavily weighing him down but he knows that if he does, there is a big possibility that he will lose his friendship with Luke. He is obviously wrestling with his feelings but he knows that he can’t tell his best friend the truth. His choice is quite simple. Shut up or put up. Consequently, he opts to defer sharing with Luke that he has a crush on his younger sister. Fear wins.

Similarly, Nikki feels ambivalent. She wants to fend off Amiel’s advances in pursuing her romantically but she is uncertain that she wants him to stop being sweet with her either. It seems that she has grown to appreciate the extra attention that she has been receiving from him. It certainly makes her feel special. Even Abby is now sensing that Amiel is interested in her. Surprisingly, her younger sister seems to like the idea of Amiel, who she considers cute, being around her. Abby is quickly falling for his charming ways. However, Nikki knows that if she does not tell him to stop now, things may just get too complicated. She is too young to be entertaining boys and she has made a promise to her Dad, which she intends to keep, that she will only consider having relationships with boys when she will be in college. She is convinced that she needs to share this with Amiel. Tell him to cease being extra nice to her. Does she really want him to stop? She knows she must. She simply needs to boost her confidence first.

Emman is sworn to confidence not to divulge to Maya’s family that she is ill. However the fever has now progressed to something debilitating. Maya is now confirmed to have dengue, which requires hospitalization. Knowing that he will definitely break Maya’s trust in him if he calls her family and share with them what truly is going on with her, she opts to call Manang Fe and let her handle the matter, instead. The latter quickly shares the situation with Richard, who ultimately takes the matter into his own hands and informs Kute about Maya’s condition. Emman chooses the passive aggressive stance. The truth still gets delivered but technically, he does not breach Maya’s confidence.

The creative writers share with us the different ways in which truth is handled in real life. Ideally it should be an automatic exercise, like flexing a muscle, tell the truth. But in the real world, it is much more complicated than that. One has to engage the intellect and the heart, employ some discernment and apply some compassion in considering the overall picture, especially when the truth being shared is a sensitive one. But in the end, truth prevails. Like the Good Book says,” truth will set us free.” Buddha also drives the nail home when he said, “three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon and the truth.”

I wasn’t able to watch the first 10 minutes of the show kaya I do not know what happened sa SC-TA meeting.

Okay naman convo nila. SC explained that what really makes Maya happy is family and that she misses and loves her father and would really be happy to, at least know, he is well. TA seemed adamant at first, hiya daw sya to come into the open now that tahimik and maayos na yung life nila NT. TA admitted that he was at fault because he had another relationship pero wala na din daw yun. SC gave him him his calling card in the event that TA would decide to follow him to mla and meet up with Maya.

It was another one of those very simple, yet poignant, scenes typical of our fave show.

Nakaka-GV nang magbasa ng comments from most BCWMH viewers. More and more na ang mas nagiging understanding sa situation and appreciative of the efforts ng people behind the show lalo na ng mga writers, at ng cast who had to tape more scenes than usual lalo na si Richard Yap.

So far rin sa nakita ko na for this week, hindi sobrang sumadsad ang ratings nila. I was expecting kasi na talagang super baba given the current situation plus busy pa ang students dahil finals week; although syempre, the numbers are not as high naman as the usual. Happy lang kasi they are still doing fairly good in almost all aspects at what may be considered as one of the lowest points during their run. Para rin kasi syang endurance test.

Thoughts on today’s episode…

JUICEKOOOO! Bigyan ng jacket, CD, pipti dollars si Ricardo! Grabe lang ang pagmamahal niya kay Maya, pati ang kagustuhan niya to make Maya sooo happy. Well, tama lang naman, for all the things Maya has done for him and for his family without her knowing it.  I can’t wait sa pagkikita nina Nay Teresita at Tay Arturo. Ngayon pa lang, kinikilig na ako at fan na ako ng loveteam nila!

Touched din ako sa phone call nina Abby at ate Maya! And dun sa nirefer ni Emman sina Ricky na pamilya ni Maya dito sa Maynila.

About naman dun sa hospital scene ni Cardo, medyo hindi ko nga siya naramdaman dun. Siguro he’s not the one to show so much emotions and naalala niya yung kanila ni Alex. Sige, push ko pa at pagtanggol ko pa.  Baka naman nga pagod lang. Hindi naman niya siguro kasalanan, kasalanan ng director kung bakit di siya pinalapit! Baka takot sa selosang fans! Truelali yung sinabi na may disconnect nga. Walang chemistry! Hihihi Kay Jodi lang pala applicable ang no acting acting niya. Hihihi.

Sis, don’t worry, positive na lately yung nababasa ko about RY. They recognize rin kasi na mas dumami scenes nya due to Jodi’s absence. Appreciated naman yung hardwork and dedication nya.

Even in the hospital scene, people took it ‘positively’. It’s a proof daw kasi na ang chemistry nina RY at JSM ang buhay ng show and not just plainly the story or the scenes. Kinilig pa nga sila kasi parang ‘exclusive’ lang to JSM yung sweety acting ni Ricardo

I like best the conversation between Tatay Arturo and SC. Ricky, the caring fiance to Maya who wants her to be happy that he will do everything for her. TA, who longs for his family but because of one mistake, can’t be with them (in his book). That story line also raises the issue of forgiveness and acceptance after an infidelity has been committed by a partner, just like in real life, di ba? It has to be dealt with din kapag nagkita na sina NT and TA. Also, how it will it affect Maya and her idealistic perception of love and relationship?

Evelyn DuncanAbove all, thank you Lord for hearing our prayers. To BCWMH writers, you guys prove again that you are brilliant and creative. You are able
to give us a very good show even with the absence of Jodi. But hearing her voice on the show is really a big plus, and now integrating about
what happened to Jodi in real life when she is battling with dengue fever. Looking forward for upcoming episodes next week. Hope that the
creative team will share some knowledge on how to prevent it and how important it is to have a proper treatment and medication.

– I liked Abby’s ‘Kuya Fake Mallows’! Kulit kid.

– The hospital scene. Read different reactions when I did a BR. I don’t know, my take, maybe, it is Ricky’s coping mechanism when dealt with a situation like that. He needed to do something instead of going to Maya’s side directly (looking at it along the flow of the story – not because it is a ‘Maya double’ on the bed!). Not sure though if the director or the writers meant it like that. Kasi minsan, iba-iba rin ang reaction ng mga tao to cope with when a loved one got seriously sick.

MARIKYN GALICINAOSC wag kang magalala, pansamantala lang and pagka pundi ng “Ilaw ng Tahanan”. Pag kagaling nya, mas maliwanag at mas mainit and pag mamahal nya. Patibayin mo lang ang loob mo..kasi ikaw ang “Haligi ng Tahanan”. Hindi ka pwedeng bumigay!!! Pero naintindihan namin na mahirap alisin ang takot sa puso mo. God is good, and He will not let you down a second time. Teary eyed watching this episode…

BCWMH…you guys are all brilliant!!! You guys are all amazing incorporating the real lives of our main characters in the story line. We appreciate all that you do to give us a great show!!!

I guess SC is like that when it comes to that kind of situation…sabi nga ni Ubegirl defense mechanism ni SC un….meron talagang mga guy na pagdating sa ganyang situation,di inilalabas or pinapakita yun totoong nararamdaman pero deep inside sobra silang nagwo-worry.

I don’t know, the way I read the scene, parang he dealt with things within his control in order to cope – calling NT and Kute, and in the teaser, calling the family doctor and transferring Maya to a better hospital/room.

You have a point here, sis. Remember how he coped up when he lost Alex? Binaon nya ang sarili nya sa work… He became distant to his children..

Serious sis, in a way, I have seen something like this happened when my dad got sick. Iba-iba ang naging coping mechanism naming magkakapatid, also my mom. When push come to shove, mas matapang ang mga babae in coping.

True. Kahit naman my dad, he took care of ALL the things needed nung nahospital naman ang kapatid niya pero hindi rin talaga siya makalapit. Ganun lang siguro talaga.

Winnie R OntiverosTatay Arturo tells Richard that he feels bad because he owes his family a lot. He doesn’t think it is right that he just suddenly shows up. Richard tells him that Maya misses him. “She said that?” He asked. Richard nodded. Tatay Arturo said that they are peaceful now. He is afraid that he would just cause unrest for the family if he returns to them. Richard politely asked him what happened? Tatay Arturo was honest and said that he made a grave mistake. He ran off with someone else. It’s that simple. (Hah! Mamang is right. He had another woman. Oh my sweet tooth I am sad ☹ to hear this.) But Tatay Arturo said that she is gone now. Richard asked him if he didn’t want to go back to them? He said that he didn’t have a face to go back. “But it has been fifteen years.” Richard said. “That’s it. Fifteen years has passed.” He replied. “But it is never too late” Richard argued. Tatay Arturo did not respond to Richard but he thanked him for coming and giving him the news. He told Richard to take care of his daughter. He stood up to leave but Richard stopped him. Richard told him that he saw him at the wake in San Nicolas. It seems to Richard that Tatay Arturo still watches over them and he still cares for them. Richard wanted to tell him more but he stopped him. Tatay Arturo told Richard to just allow him to love them in that way. “From afar? That they don’t know?” Richard asked. Tatay Arturo nodded. “You have no idea what you are missing. Maya is an amazing woman, all of them; Nanay Teresita, Kute and Cho, your grandson.” Richard said. “I’ve met my grandson.” Tatay Arturo said. Richard told him, “ I just want to make Maya happy. If you don’t know yet, family is what makes Maya happy. And you are still part of that family.” Richard continued, “Every time that you are mentioned, there is something.” Richard’s words gave a smile on Tatay Arturo’s face. “Maya still loves you. Everything is ready for our wedding. And Maya, she wants you to be there.” Richard was almost begging him. “Mang Arturo, even if you just talk to her so she knows you are ok.” Richard tells him that he is going back to Manila tomorrow and he was hoping he would follow. Whenever he makes his decision, it is up to him. Richard said to just call him. He will have his ticket booked and he will arrange for him to have dinner with Maya so they could talk. However, Richard said that he would respect whatever Tatay Arturo’s decision is. He hands him his card. Tatay Arturo thanks Richard for his concern for his daughter. Richard sat back down on the table. He looked like he has been in a battle and was defeated. (Watching this scene made me so sad for Maya. She longs for her father and prays to find him and here he is refusing to be with her because he felt bad for leaving them? He obviously does not know his own family. I hope that woman he ran off with was worth it. I hope she treated him well. Richard was right. He doesn’t know what he is missing. Needless to say…pfffft *blows nose*…pass me some more Kleenex please ☹ )

Manang Fe checks up on Abby who is now fast asleep when Abby’s phone rings. It is Richard. Manang Fe answers it. Richard asked if Abby is already asleep. Manang Fe said yes. He asked about Nikki and Luke? Manang Fe said they are fast asleep too. She asked him if he called Maya? Richard said yes but she is also asleep already. “I miss her.” Richard tells Manang Fe. “And I miss the kids.” Manang Fe told Richard they missed him too. Richard let out a big sigh and seemed in deep thought. Manang Fe asked him if there is a problem? Richard said “There isn’t a problem Manang Fe. I just realized how lucky I am to come home to them every night. Some men are not so lucky.” (Richard you spoke the truth.)

At the high school the following morning Abby asks Nikki if she has a suitor. (waaa nothing gets passed Abby) Nikki was surprised to hear this from Abby specially after she noticed her cute friend that is always nice to Nikki. Abby tells Nikki that when she grows up she too will have lots of suitors because she is pretty like her Ate. Abby asked Nikki if her cute friend that is her suitor is the fake Mallows? (Hala ka Baby you know everything already ha ha) Amiel hears Abby and plays along with it. “Really Abby? I’m cute?” Nikki turned around and told Amiel to stop saying that cuz Abby might believe it. “Why? It is true. I am your only suitor. Right?” Amiel said. Nikki couldn’t say a thing. So he tried to “pacute” Abby by making small talk about Star Scout. Abby calls him Kuya Fake Mallows. (bwahahaha Abby is so good.) He corrects her to call him Kuya Amiel. (I have to admit he is so endearing to Abby….but I am still TEAM NICODORK! Yeah!)

Ewan ko ba kung bakit hilig ninyo palungkutin ang sarili ninyo. Ako, happy ako with the episode, for the same reasons that some of you are happy about certain portions of it. As for the hospital scene, okay rin sa’kin yon kasi I’ve long accepted the fact that Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus.

Isipin lang ninyo yung mga Tatay ninyo, mga kapatid ninyong lalaki, mga asawa ninyo, mga anak ninyong lalaki. Kahit na gano pa silang kagaling na mga lalaki, tayong mga babae, ang mas magaling mag-cope sa mga situation na ganyan. Kasi tayo, nag-iiyakan, naghihimasan, naghahawakan, nagyayakapan, naghuhuntahan, tinatanggap natin ang lambot natin at ito ang nagiging lakas natin.

Ang mga lalaki, kailangan nilang kumilos. Kailangan nilang siguraduhin na ligtas tayong lahat, na maidulot nila sa atin ang pinakamagaling na lunas, at malaking kakulangan sa pagkalalake nila if they fail us.

Isipin ninyo kung ilang beses na gusto lang ninyo pakinggan kayo ng asawa ninyo, lambingin upang mapawi ang sakit o sama ng loob, pero ang response nila e knee-jerk reaction para tugonan yung inaakala nilang pinuproblema natin. Lahat ng sabihin natin sa kanila, they read it as an item of complaint, and quickly they jump to find a remedy.

ALoves GemIt’s Friday again at maayos naman naipalabas ang mga episodes for this week, so love SC for being the best fiancé in the world and he always wants the best for Maya and her family kaya nga when I saw the teaser for next week it really breaks my heart to hear those words from SC na “hindi ko kakayanin kapag may nangyari kay Maya” talagang na-trauma na si SC in losing a loved one, una sa pagkamatay ni Alex and then ngayon kay Maya in a critical condition…two women he deeply loved and became a biggest part of his life (Alex who gave him three wonderful children and Maya helping him in raising his children and bringing back the happiness in his life). He even shares his fears to Manang Fe of the thought of losing Maya while he tries put up a brave face but deep inside he is vulnerable and dying inside 😦 hindi pa nga sila nakakasal ganito na kaagad ang patikim sa kanya but I know Maya is a fighter at kahit anong pagsubok ay malalagpasan niya ito at kakayanin niya ito para sa mga mahal niya sa buhay 🙂

NT and TA malamang magkikita sila sa Manila and SC will arrange a dinner date for them para magkaayos sila. Kay Nikki Grace…sorry mga ka-adiks ini-skip ko ang scene niya kasi hindi na ako natutuwa sa kanya laging tameme kapag kaharap si fake mallows pero pagkaharap si real Mallows ang taray niya.

My family spent a decade when we lost 5 immediate members. Ako yung youngest of 4 siblings, the only girl, my Tatay’s delicate princess. Pero during that decade, I became Superwoman. Kasi ako na lang palagi yung nasa front line, being assaulted everyday by the aches and sufferings of a father with myocardial infarction (7 wks in ICU), a maiden aunt with lingering multiple sclerosis, another with late-stage breast cancer, and two brothers with stomach cancer, one after the other. Where were the men? They were out making sure we had money for the hospitals and medications, making sure we had the best rooms,and kahit na may katulong and drivers, they’d take the littlest excuse to go out and buy the medicines themselves para makalayo lang.

Takot sila! And in Ricardo’s case, parang may kalakip pang pagsisisi kung bakit napabayaan niyang lumala ng ganon si Maya (kahit di naman niya kasalanan) at may takot na baka mawala si Maya dahil sa kapabayaan niya, gayong nagmamay-ari naman siya lahat ng resources para iligtas si Maya.

Really ladies, in that situation, can you actually expect something to come up?

Really, I think moving Maya to a different hospital and getting his family doctors in on the act is the way the writers want to express the helplessness that he feels but won’t acknowledge…kailangan may gawin siya.

Saw na the hospital scene..medyo off na kulang sa emosyon..inulit ko un scene,naisip ko na ganun ***** character ni SC na di taranta or aligaga sa mga ganung situation…parang detach un emosyon at nag iisip kun ano dapat nya gawin. instead na pairalin ang pagiging emosyonal…kaya parang me kulang…
maybe pagod na rin at di nya maibigay ang tamang emosyon and expression…

Kasi pansin ko sa eksena na un,ni inspect nya agad yun room,inisip nya kaagad ilipat…yun nga lang di sya lumapit…

Like you said ganyan din sya nun me sakit si abby..di rin sya lumapit,di ba?

Tingnan lang natin Ricardo kung kalmado ka pa rin pag manganganak na si Mayabels!!!

Jnee GurleeHi SaLoves! best fiancé nga talaga si SC ‘no? ideal na ideal at talagang nakakaiyak when he said di nya kakayanin kapag may nangyari kay Maya! His vulnerability adds to his pogi points! Kaya naman loves natin sya! I forgot teaser na nga pala yun so we get to see him again saying that this next week! Touch din talaga ako sa relationship nya with Manang Fe, more often than not people move on kaya yung yaya mo wala na by the time lumaki ka na, but in their case fortunate pa rin sya to have that other ‘mama’ to share his happiness and fears, at ngayon she is there to extend that same love not only to his kids but to Maya as well….

Jo EI am in Europe traveling. But my first order of the day is watch BCWMH at 7am here. Except today because we have to start early for our trip to Mont St. Michel. I just finished watching today’s episode. Great show. I pray for you Jodi that you’ll get better soon.
I hope we see you Maya on next weeks episode, even just a glimpse of your face. We miss you not just Ser Chief.

Wow, love that musical also sis cyber – from the original concept album to the staging of it on Onstage last year I think. Kung ang ‘Someone Like You’ is for SC and Maya, para naman kina TA and Maya ang ‘Letting Go’. And if Lea could have a cameo sa wedding nina SC and Maya as a wedding singer, that would be super great!

Abby compares herself to Cho, both of them missing one parent. The same way that Abby also relates to Maya, her dad is missing too. Abby is worried for Ate Maya, she will pray with Ate Maya for her to find her father, but also tells Ate Maya that once you and dad are married, you will have a big family

While in school, Abby tells Ate Nikki that her cute friend is already courting her, knowing that he is Mallows and all Nikki could do is widen her eyes. Yes Nikki, Abby does absorbs a lot of things and understands even at her age. Abby says that when she grows up she will also have someone court her just like you Ate.

Abby also likes Ate Nikki’s cute friend, and the cute friend hears. When Abby calls him kuya Mallows, he corrects her saying his name, alright kuya Amiel, Abby responds.

Amiel you are such a gentleman, you do not talk down to Abby because she is just a child, you give importance to her as a person and knows how to treat her….carrying her lunch box and escorting her back to her room.

When one lives with regrets, one goes to extremes.
That is how Tatay Arturo has so far lived his life. Having abandoned his family for fifteen years, he is contented to see his family from afar.

Finally tracked down by Richard, he honestly tells Richard that he left with another woman who is now also gone (not specified if died or just left him).

Being asked to be present for Maya’s wedding, Tatay Arturo declines saying he cannot intrude in their lives now because he left them. Fifteen years have passed and he feels that it is better the way it is. Richard says it is never too late and pitches Maya’s dream of finding her father, telling Tatay Arturo that she loves him. He wants Maya to be happy and Maya is most happy when she is with her family, you are part of that family.

Despite Tatay Arturo’s stand, Richard still offers to make arrangement if Tatay Arturo decides to at least talk to Maya, see each other and have dinner. So that Maya knows you are alright.

Richard tells Manang Fe that he is lucky he comes home to his kids(family) every night, some are just not lucky (to have family to come home to).

Indecisiveness
Nicolo tries to bravely share with Luke that he likes someone, but blurts out, problem is, it cannot be. Cheska nor Aira not being the girl, Nicolo is unable to answer when asked who. When Luke said, if you really like someone, you will find a way…….really? Nicolo responds, but then Nicolo just opted out and said he is having a bad tummy and he needs to go to the RR…….Luke just shook his head and left him.

Nicolo, please decide once and for all…..either you tell or decide to just forget it because it cannot be. For all you know, it might just be because you are just thrown together being with Luke all the time……spread your wings Nicolo and you might find out if what you feel for Nikki is real or just flitting.

Trying to be brave.
Maya is sick and does not want to disturb anyone, especially Ricky. So she stays at home at the condo, quarantines herself with only Emman as conduit to the outside world. With strict instruction of not to tell Nanay Teresita so that she will not worry. After three days she asks Emman to bring her to the hospital because she really does not feel well and cannot take it anymore.

Emman is so aligaga because Maya does not want Nanay Teresita to know, so he calls Manang Fe because he is so concerned that Maya should have family with her and Richard is still not back.

Inner strength.
Richard is back in Manila and told by Manang Fe that Maya is really sick – Emman had to bring her to the hospital. Richard takes charge and makes arrangements for Maya’s transfer and his own doctors to look after her. Richard decides to inform the Dela Rosas by calling Kute. Nanay Teresita will instead be going to Manila. Richard is so concerned with Maya’s condition and worrying because he does not know if he will be able to handle it.

‘Tay Arturo is adamant to communicate with his family because of guilt. Ricky promised Maya he will tell her all about his trip to Cebu But Maya has dengue so it will be delayed due to health issue . Since there is no definite agreement or commitment from ‘Tay Arturo about Ricky’s proposition, I wonder how and what Ricky will tell Maya.

got to thinking, maybe because of his experience with Alex, he’s trying to distance himself from the situation although deep inside kinakabahan siya, like what he said in the teaser, “pano po kung hindi!” (re ang paggaling ni Maya) tapos sinabi ni MF, “Malayo mangyari ang iniisip mo”, to which he answered, “di ko kakayanin kung may nangyari kay Maya!”
I guess, I can understand his reaction, nung nagkaseizure ang anak ko, di ako nakapagreact ng takot. I was calm outwardly though my insides were already in panic mode. I guess that was how I was able to cope with the situation. Yung parang delayed reaction lang!!!

I missed Jodi so much sa ASAP kanina. Kahit dun sa Tabing Ilog number. Super glad that nagmessage ng “get well soon” si desiree and Luis during the interview of the TI casts. I was hoping na ininterview din si RY after his number and hoping for a message for his partner.

Super gwapo ni RY kanina. Pero selos ako sa kaduet nya. Sana yun other casts na lang ng bcwmh – kahit yun kids sana. Tapos after the number msg sila lahat for Maya. Sweet siguro.

Pagdating ko from errands, I checked our house and when I learned from you mga sis na mga past 3PM na siya lumabas, napasugod ako sa ini-record ko, mabuti na lang umabot pala. Hanggang 3:30PM ko lang kasi na-program!

I missed Jodi so much sa ASAP kanina. Kahit dun sa Tabing Ilog number. Super glad that nagmessage ng “get well soon” si desiree and Luis during the interview of the TI casts. I was hoping na ininterview din si RY after his number and hoping for a message for his partner.

Oo ngaaa! Bumawi bawi ang stylist ni RY kung meron man sa suot niya kanian. Pwede namang ganun na lang eh! And ooooh! I need to tell this again, I love him with his eyeglasses on!

Sana tomorrow we see Ricky in the hospital chapel acknowledging that Maya’s condition is beyond his control despite all his wealth and power. Sana mala-MMK na mag-beg siya for Maya’s healing. This morning’s gospel was about faith. Pag hindi na natin alam kung ano ang gagawin, that’s all we can hold on to. If we put our trust in the Lord, then somehow, our mind clears and we are better able to react to our situation. Minus the guilt and the fear and the feeling of powerlessness, he can be more affectionate to the sick Maya. Maganda na yung camera angle sa teaser. We see Ricky’s face but not what his hands are doing. Baka maraming magpakamatay if Ricky becomes affectionate with the fake Maya!!!
