616 Nov. 20, 2014- Kapag hindi masyadong malaki ang tahanan, mas madikit ang samahan. That’s what Richard, Maya and the whole Lim family are about to prove.
Gap 1
– Uwi na sila from simbang gabi. Ricky asked Doris, Sabel, and Joma if they want to go home to their families for the holidays. Hindi raw kasi baka kailang pa ng mga Lims ng tulong at ang mga Lims ang pinakamaraming fans sabi ni Doris, sa January pa sila magkikita ni Marco sabi ni Joma, at usap na nila ni Gerry at gustong manood ng Christmas program sabi ni Sabel.
– Practice ang mga Lims. Talagang nakakatawa ang single-single-double-double steps ni Ricky. Mahirap ang steps na yan para sa dalawa ang kaliwang paa. Natuwa si Maya sa asawa kaya binigyan nya ng hug.
– Fast forward na naman a few days.
– In bed pa ang mag-asawa at 10 AM ng nagising. Napuyat sa practice. Dumating na ang mga Dela Rosa at DR/DE. Pati ang mga bata ngayon lang gumising dahil napuyat. Sabi ni Kute muntik ma-late sila sa flight nila kasi etong mga magulang nyo, naglalambingan at nagliligawan pa. Si DE naman naisipan pang mag-last minute shopping. Usap-usap ang malaking extended family. DE: I must admit parang mas masaya daw dito sa bagong bahay pero may problem… parang walang matutulog ang guests TA: Lalo pa ngayon na isang katerba tayong sumugod dito. DE: Ay naku, balae, sa isang hotel na lang tayo mag-check in. Maya: Naku Ma, Magugulat kayo dito sa bahay namin. Kapag may bisita, nag-e-expand ito.
– Nag-aya na si Abby na mag-practice sila for the program pero ayaw ipakita sa mga parents.
– They are on their way to the village Christmas program. Maya: Basta pagbaba, formation agad tayo. Tapos smile. Kute: Formation kaagad? Grabe naman. Maya: Oo ganoon talaga. Sweetheart, nasaan ang bowtie mo? Ricky: Nasa bulsa. Maya: Eh bakit di mo pa isuot. Isuot mo na. (Demanding). Ricky: Do I really have to join? Abby/Nikki: Of course. It’s Christmas time, dapat walang KJ. Maya: Tama. Ricky: Fine, fine. Maya: Eto na, eto na. Dali, isuot na nyo ang Santa hats nyo at pailawin nyo na.
– Dating separate si Sabel with Gerry in their motorcycle. Bababa na sila ng van. Tinginan ang mga tao sa kanila. Nikki: Mom, bakit parang tayo lang ang naka-full costume. Napakamot at ngiti na lang si Maya. Oppss.
Gap 2
– DE: Wow ang ganda , and it has been a long time since I have attended a Christmas party of a village. NT: Tingnan mo naman oh, mukhang pamilya lang nating ang magpre-present. DR: Do you have a special number? Nikki: Mom, we are really required to present noh? Maya: Eh, oo, sabi kasi bawa’t pamilya kailangan may cheer. Luke: Cheer lang? Maya: Oo. Eh ano ba kayo. Ok na yon kaysa naman na wala tayong mai-present. Ricky: I told you over the top ang ginawa natin eh. Maya: OK na yon, sweetheart. Tayo na.
– They were welcomed by Mercy. Ang gaganda daw ng costumes nila. Heto na si Nicolo. Hindi naka-red. Hi Niks, ang ganda mo ngayon ah.
– Presentation na ng cheers. First is the Cruz family. Ang simple na cheer nila. Next na ang Lim’s family. Abalang-abala si Maya. Oh yong formation ha at confidence. May props pa sila. Si Kute sa gitara. Sing sila ng Christmas carols — dalawa pa. 
After the Lims performance, Mercy approached DR and asked who organized ng performance ng Lims. DR very proudly said that it is his daughter-in-law. Alam na ni Mercy kung sino ang papalit sa kanya as president of the homeowner assn. Si Maya tapos na ang performance sige pa ring… super enthusiastic.
Gap 3
– Announcement of winners na: Tinawag ang 3rd place (sorry, could not catch their last name). 2nd place ang Cruz family. 1st place, winning 3 yrs in a row, the Sanchez family. Napa-nganga si Maya at Kute at sad ang buong Lim pero applaud pa din. Very special prize, a noche buena package, went to the Lim family dahil napasaya silang lahat. Kanta uli sila buhat table nila hanggang stage.
– Back at home, while preparing their table for noche buena, usap ang mga oldies na sila daw ang pinakamaingay at parang nag-champion. Paano isang katerba sila. Maya leads the family in prayer. Tapos batian na sila ng Merry Christmas.
Pagkatapos ng noche buena, distribution of gifts na. From Lolo and Lola, puro envelop para sa mga apo and household help (including Jerry). Next, gifts galing sa amin ni Sweetheart. Ang cute ni Sunshine, lips to lips sila ni Daddykins (ka swerteng bata, ingit much ako). Si Sky mukhang may sumpong o pagod o inaantok na. Abby got clothes from Mom and Dad, di ba marami pa akong damit. Mom said lumiliit na ang mga damit niya. Dad said, hindi mo ba napapansin, Abby, tumatangkad ka na. Tuwang-tuwa si Abby.
– Ang mga household help may gift din for their bosses bilang pasasalamat sa kabaitan sa kanila.
– Dela Rosa’s turn naman to gift their gifts.
Gap 4
– Ang mga kids may espeysal gift for Mom and Dad. They led their parents blindfolded to the backyard. Table and chair set with their names on it for their you-and-me time. Ang sweet ng mga bata.
Kute got the idea from the coffee shop where Maya and Ricky left their names on the table. Sinubukan na nila at umupo na. At syempre, selfie-selfie.
TEASER:
– All Lim kids sleeping together on the floor. Natutuwa si Maya. Ito ang na-miss ni Ricky dahil wala siyang kapatid. Sabi ni Maya, huwag kang mag-alala, makikisiksik tayo sa kanila mamaya.
– Naka-polka dots lahat. Si Doris inaakay kasi naka-wedgie shoes na hot pink, hindi sanay muntik matumba.
– May dance presentation ang mag-amang DR and Ricky. Ang cute kumembot ni Ser Chief Ricky. Happy New Year agad na sa mundo nila.

November 20, 2014 Ep MERRY CHRISTMAS LIM FAMILY!
The family is back from Midnight Mass when Sabel greeted them to say that breakfast is ready. Richard told everyone that they should all have breakfast together but Joma and Sabel told him that they already ate. So they are ready to lead the Lims to the breakfast table. But before they went upstairs, Richard decided to ask the hired help, Doris, Sabel and Joma if they wish to go home to their families this Christmas? Sabel told Richard that her and Jerry decided they would spend their Christmas with them here. Joma said that he isn’t scheduled to have Marco until after New Year and Doris thought she’d just send money. She thinks that the Lims might need her help. What the three house helps said warmed Maya’s heart. They were so unselfish to give up their time with their family. “Are you all sure of that?” Maya asked. And the three said yes. “We also want to watch your Christmas program.” Sabel said. “And we want you to be the ones that have the most fans.” Doris added. Maya couldn’t help it. She thanked them and gave Sabel a huge hug.
Maya being the leader of the Lim family production spearheads a practice session in the front yard. They are doing the single single double step which made Richard’s two left foot tangled. (I don’t think it helps that they are on an incline either. [cool]) Abby did great and so did Sunshine but the back row was a bit out of synch. When Maya turned around she could see Richard struggling but she appreciated that he still tried. Once again, she couldn’t help it. She gave him a huge hug to give him confidence. (Come on Richard Lim all you have to do is channel your inner G Force ha ha.

The next few scenes are some fast forward a few more days until Christmas eve. Richard and Maya were seen having their cotton ball moment. They woke up late, around 10 AM. Apparently they were busy rehearsing their number last night and went to bed late.
At the front door, the Senior Lims and DLR’s arrive together from the airport. Nanay asked Sabel where are the Royals? Sabel told them they went to bed late from practicing their number for the Christmas program. But at that time, Maya and Richard were already up. They were so happy to see their parents. They all greet each other with hugs and kisses and hand blessing. Shortly after, the kids came out running from their rooms to say hello to their grandparents from both sides, Tatits and Cho. After everyone settled, Richard asked his parents how is their flight? “You know we were almost late for the flight because your parents (Chris points at Nanay and Tatay) were too busy doing their lovey dovey business like courtship or something.” Chris said. Everyone started laughing. “Well it’s just like your Mama. She decided to do a last minute shopping.” Don Roberto complained. So the room was filled with laughter. In the living room, Abby told Cho that they decorated the living room and the Christmas tree. Cho was impressed but most of all, he is more impressed with all the gifts from under the tree. Don Roberto told Abby and Cho that isn’t all of it just yet but that he is going to hold off on giving them their present. The adults started laughing because they have the upper hand on the kids. (Oh my G…I can relate to this scene. They are like my family.)

The whole family is having a snack and coffee in the family room when Dona E mentioned that the house is cozy and fun. Nanay Tere couldn’t agree with her more. She said that she felt them to be more of a family in this house because they are closer together. “There is just one thing I have to say about this house.” Dona E said. “There seem to be no room for guests to stay.” She mentioned. “Specially now that we all came at the same time.” Tatay said. Dona E told Nanay and Tatay that they should probably check in at the same hotel. “But Ma you might be surprised at our house. When company arrives, our house suddenly expands. We could all fit here.” Maya said. It is her own way of stopping her family and in laws from staying somewhere else. Dona E was impressed. “That’s great. This house has magic.” Tatay replied. Nanay said that they should all stay so they could have more fun.
At this time Abby and Nikki run inside the house from the back yard. Abby asked Maya if they are going to practice their presentation? “You are right Abby. We should probably do that.” Maya said. “What program is that?” Don Roberto asked. “It is the Village Christmas Program.” Richard explained. Dona E wants to know what is their presentation but Maya said it is a secret. She took Kute and gathered up the rest to rehearse.
In the van, as they begin to pull into the clubhouse of the village, Maya gave instructions to everyone. “Don’t forget, as soon as we get out of the van, formation right away and smile. “Formation right away? As in performance level?” Kute asked. “Yes Kute that is how it is.” Maya said before she turned to Richard. “Sweetheart where is your bowtie?” She asked. “It is in my pocket.” Richard said. “Well you are going to have to put it on.” Maya said. “Do I really have to join?” Richard asked but the rest of the family reacted. “Dad…it’s Christmas.” Abby said. “Of course it is Christmas time. There shouldn’t be any KJ (kill joy).” Nikki seconded Abby. “Right you are kids.” Maya said. “Fine!” Richard replied. But when Maya looked around, she saw all the people looking in their direction. “Here it is…let’s put on our hats and make it blink.” Maya said. Everyone followed Queen Maya de la Rosa-Lim the lead in the Lim Family Christmas Presentation 2014. [biggrin] They all got out of the car keeping in mind they have to be in performance level already ([rofl] Maya’s energy is absolutely infectious.)

The Lim family gathered up and stood in formation while the attendees looked a them in wonderment. Everyone was dressed casually and no big deal but the Lims were color coordinated in bright red. Each of them specially the ones who are going to perform were all wearing their Blinking Santa Hats, Red outfits and shirts with green glittered bowties and ribbons for the girls. “Mom why are we the only ones in full costume?” Nikki asked. And even Sunshine gave the others a stinky face Bwahaha [rofl] Maya’s eyes grew big. She realized they may have overdone it. She looked at Richard to see what he thinks but he isn’t reacting nearly as bad as she thought he would. In fact, he is now in on everything. If his family was going to be embarrassed, he will be embarrassed right along with them. This is not going to kill off Maya’s spirit. They are there and ready to go.
Dona E, Don R, Nanay and Tatay walked toward the side of the entrance to look at the venue and Dona E was impressed. “Wow. It looks great. This is the first time in a long time that I attended a Christmas Party at a village.” She commented. Nanay looked around at the people in attendance. She turned to Maya and said. “And it looks like we are the only ones who are going to present.” Nanay said knowing how Maya can get overly excited. The group standing there looked up at the roof the van where their little Nipa Hut is sitting and waiting for them to take it to the stage. (LMAO…they even have props bwahaha….Between Nikki’s West Teatro experience and Maya’s Energizer Bunny ways, the Lims are over the top ready for this. I say Bring it on![crazy]) “Do you all have a special number?” Don Roberto asked. “Mom we’re really required to present no?” She asked Maya. “Well they said every participating family should have a cheer.” Maya said. “Just a cheer?” Luke asked. “Yes…well…it’s ok. At least we have something to show don’t you think?” Maya said stomping her foot. Richard made a comment that I couldn’t understand. He said something about what they did…. But Maya just led them to get excited and they should head on and be ready. So they decided to go on ahead with it.
On their way in to the venue, they were greeted by Mercy and the other gossip girl of the HOA. Mercy again welcomed them. “Wow your costumes look great.” Mercy said. “In fairness yall are not prepared for tonight are you?” Gossip girl said. Maya and the family just laughed it all out as they were welcomed to have a seat. Behind them, Nicolo makes it to the venue. He runs to Nikki telling her she looks great. He walks and joins the Lims at their table.

The Lims and DLR’s intently watched the other families do their presentation which was literally just a cheer for their family. When the Cruz family finished their dry and scattered presentation, Nikki finally got it. “So that’s the cheer they want.” Nikki commented. But it is too late to turn back now. Mercy is up on stage to call on the newest member of their village, the Lim family to do their presentation. (If there was a prize for the family with the most fans, the Lims would have won for sure.) Maya stood up. She is told everyone they have to be on presentation mode right away. She wants them to remember formation and confidence. (Maya is giving it her all! What a hoot she is. They all got up to get ready.
Joma and Jerry ran and got their props. Everyone knew exactly what they were going to do and where they were going to stand on stage. Cho and Kute on the guitar on the right side of the stage. The hut is on the left and everyone waits to come out from the hut.
Maya came out and introduce themselves. “Hello! [wave] Hello! Good evening everyone. We are the Lim family!” Maya said to the cheer of the crowd on their table. “Thank you very much for welcoming us to your village and because it is Christmas our presentation is dedicated to all of you.” Maya said.
She goes ahead to her place behind Luke at the back. Kute calls on her to be sure they are ready to go. She strums the guitar and her and Cho sang their part.
Kute and Cho: Malamig ang simoy ng hangin (The breeze of the air is cold)
Abby: Kay saya ng bawa’t damdamin (Everyone is feeling happy)
Nikki: Ang tibok ng puso sa dibdib (Every heart beat)
Luke with Kute: Para bang hulog na ng langit (It feels like it came from the heaven)
Maya: Himig Pasko’y laganap (The sound of Christmas is all over)
Mayroong sigla ang lahat (Everyone has energy)
Ricky: Wala nang kalungkutan (There is no sadness) ….Maya is seen giddy over Ricky singing [love]
Lubos ang kasiyahan (But full of happiness)
Unison: Himig ng pasko’y umiiral (The tune of Christmas is everywhere)
Sa loob ng bawat tahanan (Inside each and every home)
Masaya ang mga tanawin (Happiness is in every scene)

Maya marched forward and backwards; Nikki and Luke drummed. Richard and Abby marched across back and forth. The Lim family were choreographed just as they practiced. Up on stage they were great. [thumb] The audience include Lea and a group of other house help. On the Lim’s table are Nicolo, Sabel, Doris with the twins, Joma, the Senior Lims and the DLR’s. They were clapping and enjoying the presentation.

The Lim family stage was full of energy. Their singing was great. The presentation was well choreographed and practiced. The audience had a great time. Mercy couldn’t help it. She came to Don Roberto and Dona Esmeralda to ask who organized the performance on stage? “That would be my daughter in law Maya.” Don Roberto was sure. “I think I already know who is going to take over my position as Homeowner’s President next year.” Mercy said. “And she would make an excellent President.” Don Roberto was proud to say. Mercy thought so too. They were so impressed and delighted at the presentation up on stage. Even after they were done, Maya was still going.

Mercy and Gossip girl got on stage to announce the winners of either the Christmas decoration and the Christmas presentation. The Lims were listening and waiting. The third place was the de Guzman family. Second place was the Cruz family. “And now the first place winner. Are you all ready?” Mercy announces. “Yes” Kute said with Joma ready to go. Richard and Maya were anticipating. “Winning three years in a row. The Sanchez family.” Mercy announced. Joma was ready to go but when he heard the Sanchez family, he put his hands down quickly and probably asked…. “Anyare?” Bwahaha . Cho’s lips pouted. Christina Roses face wrinkled. They all looked at the direction of the Sanchez’ and watched their green colored shirts and dresses get up on stage to get their first prize gift basket???? (Not even a trophy??? [confused]) The Lims and DLR’s were a bit deflated but they clapped without energy for the winners. Five others clapped too. Maya’s face soured and so did Richard’s. Maya turned to the group and told them it’s ok even though she had a sour face. But Mercy kept talking. “What we are doing next is not the norm and not part of the contest. But because this family made everyone happy with their performance that is full on and fun, the homeowners association decided to give this family a special prize…a Noche Buena package. And that family is the Lim Family.” Mercy announced at the party. Maya and Richard were elated to hear that they have won a special prize. They all filed up the stage singing the Noche Buena song. It was a fun and hilariously great presentation. Although I expected them to sing Kapit Bisig for some reason.

Back at the house, Tatay and Don Roberto talk about the Christmas Program. Tatay thought that they were the noisiest of all. “That should have made us the champion.” Don Roberto said. “The champions looked like losers.” Dona E replied. Kute thinks they took over an entire side of the hall that is why everyone noticed them. Everyone got busy getting the dinner table ready for Noche Buena. Maya, Doris and Sabel bring in more dishes from the back kitchen to the table just before she asked Richard what time it was? “Do you want us to call the kids now?” Richard asked. “Ok” Maya said but the kids were already out of their rooms to join them. “I thought yall are asleep already?” Maya said. “No they still have a lot of energy Sweetheart.” Richard replied.

Maya then called everyone to gather up around the table so they could pray for the food and eat. Everyone lined up with Richard and Maya in the middle. Maya led the prayer.
“Heavenly Father thank you for the opportunity that you have given us to all be together so that we could celebrate your birthday. We would like to thank you dear God for the good health that you have given us. And most of all, dear God, we would like to give you thanks for the strength that you have given us to overcome any adversities that may have come our way this year. Thank you in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.”
Everyone wished each other a Merry Christmas hugging and kissing; but the Royals in the middle of the screen gave each other a warm, tight embrace for they are bonded together for life. In slow motion as I tried to capture the embrace, one could see how far apart they were at the beginning but closely they began to be until they tightly gripped each other. They may be thinking in their minds that they have been such great partners for 2.4 years and now they will go on their separate ways living their lives without each other. All that they will keep with them are the memories of when they came to work every day each day playing the role of a couple madly in love with each other. For us fans, there’s no guarantee and the closer to the end we are, the more I feel the gap growing between my dream and its reality. When I was asked to write something down for the TFC FB page, I gladly obliged but it was edited and the part I wanted to say the most taken out of the context of my thoughts. It makes me think the network does not want to hear the clamor of most for more of this pairing. They don’t even want to mention it. It makes me sad…..

Our story continues to the giving of gifts. Maya and Richard stood to give away first the gifts from the Senior Lims. As a Chinese tradition, they simply give away red envelops that usually bears money which is deemed good luck if you get one of those. Each and everyone in the room gets a red envelop including Jerry. Then Maya and Richard gave out their gifts, and then the DLR’s. After them the hired help gave away their presents until everyone was able to give their presents away. The following are the screen caps of that gift exchange.

When Abby received some new clothes from her parents she asked why they gave her clothes when she still has a lot. But Richard told Abby that her clothes are getting smaller for her now because she is getting taller. Abby got extremely excited that she is finally sprouting out.

Then the kids were ready to give their gift to Richard and Maya. However since they couldn’t really wrap it, they covered their eyes and led them where the gift is. Slowly they brought them to the backyard. Once they were standing in front of the gift, the kids let them see. They made a coffee table and two chairs for Richard and Maya to use when they are having their “You and Me” time.

The table is made of tile mosaic. The words read Richard heart Maya with pictures of airplanes and clouds just like the name they drew and left at the coffee shop in San Nicolas. Maya was surprised. She asked the kids how they found out? “Do you really think you two would get away with it without us knowing? Remember…San Nicolas is a small town and there are no other Maya and Richards there but the two of you.” Chris explained. Then Cho showed Maya a picture of the name from his tablet. The kids said that the table and chairs are second hand but the table top is the three of them made it. “We went online to see how to make it.” Abby said. “Now you don’t have to share names with other people on a table. You have your own table with your own name in it.” Nikki said. (But I think Sky and Sunshine already broke it. Tiles are flying everywhere as they pound their toys on top of the table. Bwahaha!)

The kids made Richard and Maya try their special table and chairs on. They sat down and it was perfect. The next thing you know they are all taking selfies in front of the table complete with wacky pose. Enjoy the screen caps.
