615 November 19, 2014- It’s time again for kapit-bisig dahil sasabak na sa Christmas presentation ang Lim family! Ano kayang bagong gimmick ang maiisip ni Maya at Ser Chief?

Gap 1
– Ricky picking up Maya from work. He was in deep thoughts while waiting that he did not even noticed Maya. He is still thinking about his conversation with Celeste.
– At home, Maya brings coffee to Ricky in their back porch. Ricky in deep thoughts again. Maya: Sana hindi na tayo dumaan sa LAS. Nakakapanghinang makita ganoon ang sitwasyon nila. Ayaw mo na ba talagang bumalik doon? Ricky: Even if i want to, hindi naman ako ang solution sa nangyari sa LAS. they should know by now that blaming one person does not necessarily solve the problem. I believe Celeste with the help of the board of directors can still fix this. They should fix this. Maya: Sana nga, sweetheart. Ricky: In time.
– All kids in the nursery. Abby and Nikki interrogating their Kuya about him and Tisay. Kayo na ba uli ni Tisay? Hindi ko alam at ayaw mag-assume, pero nag-uusap naman kami. Naiinis na si Luke. Nikki wants to compose a song for Tisay and Luke. Maya and Ricky were standing by the door lovingly watching their 5 children.
– In bed na ang mag-asawa. Maya on the phone with Kute. Oo, Kute, ibang-iba na sa LAS, parang walang kasigla-sigla lahat. Bunso, huwag problemahin ang problema ng iba, sabi ni Kute, kasi kapag ginawa mo iyan tutubuan ka na ng puting buhok. Pero si Ricky affected daw, sabi ni Maya, dahil naging importante din sa kanya ang mga tao sa LAS. Pero no worries, they are OK. Kailangan ba nakahawak pa si Maya sa ulo at tenga ng asawang natutulog?
– Time lapse/fast forward sila ng 2 (?) days. Ginigising si Ricky ni Maya at mga bata kasi they will decorate the house in time for the opening of the Christmas Decorating Contest.
– Last 8 days of love and happiness — Paper plane incident by poolside.
Gap 2
– In their living room, the whole family helping in the decoration. Abby passed the honors of putting the star on top of the tree to Sky and Sunshine. Nikki expressed that she has always wanted to do their home decoration for Christmas, pero dati daw may interior decorator to do this for them. Ang cute ng kambal sa pagtulong. Enjoy daw si Maya at Nikki sa pagde-decorate at pagkakalat, sabi ni Ricky kay Luke. Napansin naman ng girls na puro pahinga ang mga boys na dapat ay nagkakabit ng mga lights sa labas ng bahay. Lalabas na nga, so exit ang 2 boys.
– Outside the house, tuloy pa rin sa pagdecorate si Maya at Nikki while Luke and Ricky are putting up the lights. Heto na si Nicolo para tumulong na may dalang ladder. Si Joma ang dapat aakyat sa ladder para ikabit ang ibang lights, pero volunteer si Nicolo na siya na. Pakitang gilas. Ayan nahulog at pinagtawanan at inasar pa ni Doris ” papara papara…it’s your time, it’s your show, magpasikat, it’s show time. Ayan pasikat ka kasi. Tayo agad si Nicolo dahil nakita ni Nikki.
Gabi na ng matapos sa decorating. Ricky did the honors of lighting up their decor.
– Dumating si Mercy to inform the Limbs that the village Christmas program is on the 24th at the clubhouse and each participating household must prepare a cheer or intro. Doon din sa program ang announcement of the winners. Excited mag-cheer ang lahat.
Gap 3
– Ricky and Maya in their bedroom. Maya talking to DE. Looks like DE is telling Maya that they are coming for the Lims Christmas presentation. Si Kute naman ang tinawagan. Maya will book their flight na. Manang Fe is invited too, but cannot make it as Mang Anastacio’s children will be with them. Pinagtatawanan si Ricky kay Maya dahil super abala na naman, eh cheer lang ang ipinapagawa sa kanila. Para kay Maya, cheer, presentation, production number iisa lang yon. May narinig silang nangangaroling. Ang aga daw. Check out nila. Ay, ang mga Lim kids and yayas pala with Nicolo, Lea, and Graco. This year, si Ricky naman ang may ginawa ng improvised instrument – tambol. Naroon pa rin ang tansan cymbals (?) na ginawa ni Maya. After practicing their christmas carols, the whole family will practice for their event, and Nikki is in charge of making the props.
– LAI Christmas Party. Ricky announced that because of the little success of their school, the scholarship program for worthy students will start mid-next year. Enough of this speech. I do not want us to be formal. Let us all enjoy. The food is served, and Merry Christmas. May gift si Luke kay Joni, at mayroon din nakahandang gift si Joni for Luke. Ang cute ni Joni sa hairstyle niya.
– Going home after the party,
Joni: “Huwag mo na akong ihatid Cupcake.”
Luke: Ayan ka na naman. Nadulas ka na naman. Tara na. (Luke walked towards the parking lot)
Joni: Teka sandali, bakit tayo sa parking pupunta?
Luke: Hiniram ko yong car ni Dad.
Joni: Ano ka ba?
Luke: Overtime naman si Dad eh at saka ibabalik ko naman agad pagkatapos nating pumunta sa QC Circle.
Joni: Pupunta tayo doon?
Luke: Yup.
Joni: Anong mayroon?
Luke: Monthsary kasi natin, I mean, kung tayo pa. Pero kahit hindi pa tayo ulit, gusto ko makasama ka kung OK lang sa yo.
Joni: Ang weird naman mag-celebrate tayo ng monthsary na hindi naman tayo. Pero para hindi maging weird….(Joni gave Luke a kiss on the cheek) Happy monthsary Cupcake. And no, hindi ako nadudulas.
Luke: Tayo na uli Cupcake!!??.
Joni nodded. Joni apologized for the cool off. Hindi natapos ang sinasabi ni Joni dahil biglang niyakap siya ni Luke.
Gap 4
– The Lims on the way to church for their first simbang gabi sa village nila. Natupad daw ang wish ni Luke last year dahil nakumpleto ang nila ang simbang gabi, and his wish was to have a girlfriend. He announced that he and Joni are back together.
TEASER
– Ricky asking if Sabel, Doris, and Joma would like to go home to their respective families for Christmas. The three had decided to stay because they think the Lims still need help and they want to watch the village christmas program. Manood lang ba? Eh kasama sila sa rehearsals.
– Arrival of Dela Rosas and DR/DE.
– DE thinks there is not enough space for all of them in Ricky’s house. – Expandable daw ang bahay nila.
– Lims arrived at the village christmas program. Sila lang ang naka-costume. Kapit bisig song ang background.

November 19, 2014 Ep TAYO NA ULIT CUPCAKE????
Richard picks up Maya but he stood there outside the car, staring at nowhere thinking deeply about what just happened at LAI just before he left. When Maya came out of the building she talked to him but noticed his mind was far away. Maya called him again. “Sweetheart were you stuck in traffic?” Maya asked touching him. “Ah Sweetheart…I am sorry! I was thinking of something.” Richard said. He leaned forward to give Maya a kiss. She began to worry what her husband is thinking about but she just wants to keep it together for him. She knew they were going to talk once they get to the car. “Let’s go?” Maya asked. Richard nodded. He took Maya’s flight bag and walked her around the other side of the car. He opened the door for her to get it in and then placed the bag in the back seat. (Ok it looks like they are not going to dwell on Richard and Celeste’s conversation. It was just to close out the issue between the two of them. Celeste begs Richard to come back to LAI and in the process she insults him. He tells her he and his family is working hard to make LAI work in spite of LAS tarnishing his reputation which made everything difficult for his rebuilding efforts. He challenges Celeste not to a duel but to show him she is a capable replacement for him. That was it. The only thing hanging now is the results of the investigation. Seven more days and I am counting until the end.
At the house, Maya prepared coffee for her and Richard. This time the two sit on the swinging chair with end table to sit their drink. From this view, this house looks very cozy and homey. However I still feel that it is a bit tight with five children, a Yaya, parents and a cook moving around the house. When Maya sat down next to Richard for their you and me time she made a comment. “Sweetheart, I wished we never stopped by at LAS. It was so sad to see them like that. Don’t you really want to go back there?” Maya asked. Richard shook his head. “Even if I want to, I am not the solution to the problem that happened at LAS. They should know by now that blaming one person does not necessarily solve the problem. I believe that Celeste with the help of the Board of Directors can still fix this. They should fix this.” Richard said. He looks sad about the situation too but he is right. His return to LAS will not solve the problem that they have. They actually made everything worst pointing fingers at each other trying to cover up and promising the world to the clients but can’t deliver. They created a bigger problem for them, let them fix it. Not Richard. (I agree.) “I hope so too Sweetheart. I hope they fix it.” Maya said. Richard nodded. He looked at Maya while she rubbed his back. “In time.” He replied. (Yep it is a sad situation but Richard is right. In time, they will be able to fix it. Whether he is going to be part of rebuilding that company is a totally different story and we may never know. However, it is still sad. [frown])

inside the house, Luke, Nikki and Abby were hanging out in the nursery to help Doris take a break from watching the twins all day. The twins were busy playing so Abby and Nikki bug Luke about his status with Joni. They want to know if they are back together yet. Luke said he does not know where they stand right now. It is a bit hazy. He does take her home and they talk but to say that they are back together as in bf/gf Luke said he really couldn’t tell. But Abby and Nikki begs him to tell them. He is getting annoyed at his sisters. Nikki even said that she is going to write them a song so she needs to borrow his guitar. Luke said go ahead and get it but Nikki would rather sit there and bug him. Unbeknownst to the kids, Maya and Richard came to the open door to peek and see what’s going on. They are pleased to see how normal life is with all five children. Nikki and Luke with their usual bantering with one another, Abby looking over her younger siblings while interacting with the older ones. Life could not be more comfortable than now. They still manage to be one big happy family.
That night, regardless of what Maya and Richard discovered about the status of LAS, Richard seemed to be sleeping soundly. The institute is managing to survive. Although it isn’t extremely successful yet, it seems to be taking off and making its headway. While Richard sleeps, Maya is on the phone with Kute. She tells her that it is truly sad to see LAS the way it is. The employees had no energy; the place was depressing. “Well that is what happens when they make a decision. The have to face the consequences. But Little Sister, do me a favor. Please don’t take on the problems of others? Because if you did that, you will begin to get gray hair.” Chris said. “You are right Kute. But you know you can’t avoid Richard from feeling affected because the people from LAS is important to him. However I don’t want you to worry about us because we are fine. We may not be one hundred percent happy but we are not a hundred percent sad so we are ok.” Maya replied. “All of this will pass.” Kute said. “I know Kute. Time flies.” Maya said. She looked down at Richard while she puts her hand over his head and rubs the side of his face with her thumb…just enough to make him feel even more relaxed and secured. Richard is dead to the world. (Cotton ball moment.

In the living room the family is busy. Richard pushes a huge box of Christmas decorations. Nikki asks Maya where she wants the wreath? Richard and Maya decides to place it somewhere in the living room. Nikki tells Luke that he should probably hang the wreath but have to be careful not to deform it. While Luke agreed he needs to get tools. Maya opens the big box of Christmas tree hangings. Sunshine lets out a high pitched scream from excitement. [eek]
Later Richard and Luke put the big white Christmas tree. Richard holds the top half of the tree. “I used to put the topper of the tree but this time it has to be Sunshine and Sky.” Abby said giving the huge star to Sunshine. Richard stoops low for Sunshine to put the tree topper. When she did, Maya, Nikki and Abby clap and cheered while Sky jumped. Richard placed the top of the tree up. Maya said it is beautiful. “I have always wanted to do this. It used to be someone decorates the house and the Christmas tree. But now we do it ourselves.” Nikki said. “I know Nikki. Now we could honestly say that we decorated the house ourselves.” Maya said. Luke is heard agreeing and Richard smiled. [smile][thumb] The music in the background of deck the halls played appropriately.
Later, Luke and Richard sat in the dinning room and rested. Luke got some juice to drink. Maya said they are almost done decorating while Abby and Nikki placed the last few ribbons on the tree. Luke told his father that the girls and their Mommy are soooo enjoying themselves decorating. “Right but look. They are also enjoying making a mess.” Richard said. “Sweetheart I heard that. We are going to clean up after.” Maya replied. “Yep we are.” Nikki seconded. “But wait….Dad…Kuya….Didn’t mom say to go ahead and put the Christmas lights up?” Nikki said. “Right! I noticed that you two have been sitting there for a long time already.” Maya said. Richard looked at Luke who is now eating a snack. He got up and said that they are going out to get started. Luke didn’t finish his snack and followed Richard.

Later Maya helped place the fake snow on the landscape outside. (I love this part of the house. I loved the landscape outside the house that Maya could decorate. I also loved that Nikki could find a spot for the Manger. In fact I would love to do that in my house but the landscape is a little different.) Luke and Richard wrapped the tree with lights but they didn’t know how they could wrap more lights up the tree? They didn’t know that Maya had called Nicolo to come with a ladder. At this time, he showed up. Nicolo volunteered to climb up to put the lights on the higher portion of the tree but halfway through, he slipped and fell. He didn’t get away with it without being teased by Doris again calling him a show off. (I am honestly sick of Doris being mean to Nicolo. If there is one thing I wouldn’t miss is her extreme, condescending, nasty way that she treats Nicolo. Once or twice is funny but every time she sees him she never ceases to talk down to him, making fun to him, push him away etc etc. As much as the show is supposed to teach goodness and kindness to people, Doris comes out rude and nasty. She is a bad example to the twins in their formidable years. It isn’t funny anymore.)
Later that night, when the Lims finished everything, they all gathered in front of the house. At the top of the stairs, Richard held the chords to turn on the lights. But not without fanfare. He started to count to three and then plugged it in. All the lights came on as beautiful as one could imagine. There were lights, not only on the tree in front of the house but lights are draped on the stone facade of the house. There were several smaller lanterns all twinkling in unison and a huge lantern on the main window to the side. The stairway leading to the front door is well lit and the plants all have tiny lights. Their light display was tasteful and fun. This might be the twins’ first Christmas they would remember. Nikki thinks they are going to win the best Christmas decoration contest.
At this time, someone rang the door bell. Joma opened the door. It was Mercy. “Your house looks wonderful.” She said excitedly. “Hello Mercy. Is the judging for the decoration contest today?” Maya asked. “No not yet because the others who signed up for the contest asked for an extension. Some of them have not started yet.” Mercy said. Luke thought that is a little unfair that they are given more time to prepare. “But that is ok because at least we know we are already done.” Maya said. But Mercy assured the Lims that the first ones who finish would be given extra points. That news excited Maya. (She is really into this contest thing. Just like in San Nicolas, her and Kute would always win at the Palaro each year. There is no year that they didn’t want to win the contest. Thanks to Tatay, Simon and Richard, they brought home the trophy two years ago when she was pregnant.) Mercy also stopped by to tell them that they are going to hold a Christmas program on the 24th. They are going to hold it at the Christmas Village. “Is that where they are going to announce the winners?” Maya asked. “Yes and also the organizers decided that each participating household should prepare a cheer or intro so it would be fun.” Mercy said. Hearing all this, the kids couldn’t help it. They started to chant for “Cheer”. Their being competitive is coming out. They couldn’t wait.
After finding out all the activities at the Village, Maya got busy preparing for it. In fact I think she planned more than what is expected. She This evening, Maya is on the phone with Dona Esmeralda asking exactly when they are arriving. Then she calls up Kute to confirm Cho’s vacation schedule. Once she learned for sure, she told Kute that she is going to book them a flight to Manila. She also reminded her to please practice “that thing” that she sent her. On the bed, Richard looks over Maya’s drawing of how they are going to present their Cheer or Holiday greeting at the Christmas program. Maya asks Richard if Manang Fe is coming? Richard said she isn’t because Mang Anastacio’s children are visiting. So Maya said she will just send her a video recording of the program and listed her name on her note paper along with Raffy. (I am so glad to hear Raffy’s name mentioned again. It would seem that Richard or Maya would have had some conversation with her specially when Richard was fired from LAS. But the writers have forgotten about her who is also a part of Richard and Maya’s love story. She helped lead these two together. Though we may never see her again, it is still good to hear her name mentioned and not forgotten until the end of the series. [thumb]) Richard begin to chuckle. Maya asked what was funny? Richard took one of Maya’s drawing. “Look at how busy you got with this? They only wanted a cheer from us.” Richard said while holding up Maya’s stage drawing complete with stick people. “Sweetheart…cheer, presentation, production number… it’s all the same.” Maya argued. Richard just laughed. No point on him arguing with Maya. She is in on it with all her might. (So why do I feel that the Lims are going to bring home all of the contest awards? Because they have the best house and family in town. [biggrin])

At this time, Maya and Richard heard some singing going on. In fact it sounded like Carolers. Maya looked at her watch and realized it is still too early to be Caroling. The two decided to go and check. Following where the sound is coming from, Richard and Maya left the room. Meanwhile, in the backyard, they find the Lim kids with Nicolo, Lea and Draco, Sky with a bottle but no Sunshine otherwise she would be letting out a scream. Draco and Sky with Lea and Doris were pounding the drums. It looked like Abby and Nikki made themselves one of those bottle cap tambourines. Nicolo is on the guitar and Luke sitting right beside him. “Wow look at you guys. I thought it was a bit too early for Caroling.” Maya said as she and Richard join them. She noticed Draco who got down from Lea’s lap to say hello to Maya. She kisses him on the head. “Wow Draco has a drum. Who made it?” Maya said. Richard cleared his throat to get Maya’s attention. Maya turned around and looked at Richard. “You Sweetheart?” Maya asked. “Luke and I stayed up late making those drums last night.” Richard said. It warmed Maya’s heart that they made the drums. She gives Richard a hug while he gave a huge grin. (Anything for a hug from his loving wife….) “You are so good. Could you please make five more?” Maya asked. Richard said yes and so Maya got extremely excited over some more drum sets. (Bwahaha! [rofl]Maya is really easy to please.) Maya asked Nikki that after they practice their caroling if they could practice their presentation at the Christmas Program? Nikki nodded. So Maya asked when they were going to make props? Nikki said they can also do it now. “That’s right. Let’s do that now so that next rehearsal would already be a dress rehearsal.” Maya said. Nikki liked her idea. Everyone is excited. (This is making me excited for Christmas too.)

The Christmas party at LAI had Richard up on the stage delivering a message to all the employees of the institute. He was pleased to announce that as a gift for the small success of their school, come mid year the following year, they are going to open scholarships for worthy students in each course. The staff and employees clap for joy. Richard wants to keep the party relaxed so he tells them the food is served and enjoy. At this time, some of the employees exchanged gifts. Sonny is seen giving Minerva a huge gift. Luke stands up and takes a walk to the back of the room where Joni sat with the other staff. He gives her a gift. Joni was surprised and thankful. She too has a gift for Luke. She gives it to him and accidentally calls him cupcake. But there was no other significant conversation here other than giving each other goo goo eyes.

Later, Joni and Luke left the building together. Joni was surprised that Luke led her to the parking lot. Luke said he borrowed Richard’s car so they could go to Circle Cafe. Joni asked why they are going there? Luke told her it is because it is their monthsary today. Joni felt awkward. “It feels funny to celebrate our monthsary when we are not even together.” She said. Luke didn’t mind it. He just wants to spend some time with her. Joni decided that they can both give themselves a reason to celebrate. She gave Luke a kiss on the cheek and called Cupcake again. “Does this mean we are together again Cupcake?” Luke asked. Joni nodded. She started to explain to him that when she made the decision for them to cool off that she regretted it. But all of those things are in Luke’s past. He was just too happy to be back together with her. He dove in and gave her a hug. (Whooo hooo! I knew it. The two just needed some time to step back and figure out what they could do to resolve their issues. Luke needed time. Joni found a way to resolve that by joining forces with him at LAI. Now they found their way back to each other. Whewww! that was too close to the end. [thumb])
The Lim family attends their first Simbang Gabi (Midnight Mass) at the village church. Sunshine must have been tired because she is giving Doris a bit of a problem. At the front of the church they stop for a minute. Nikki is excited for their first midnight mass at the village. “This is my most favorite time of the year.” Abby said. “Do you know that last year my wish came true.” Luke said. “Oh yeah we did complete the midnight mass last year didn’t we?” Nikki commented. Luke nodded. “But wait Kuya. Are you attending midnight mass only for the wish?” Nikki asked. “Of course not. I just went along with everyone and that is why I wished and luckily it worked.” Luke said. “Huh? What was your wish?” Nikki asked. “That I would have a girlfriend.” Luke said looking at his parents for their reaction. “But you two separated didn’t you?” Abby asked. “Not anymore. We are back together.” Luke happily announced. Maya and Nikki were so happy for Luke. They said congratulations to Luke. Richard was happy too giving him a pat on the shoulder. Richard told them they have to go before the mass starts. The whole family went inside the church together. (Sigh*** what a great ending to today’s episode. A family that prays together stays together and this is what the Lims are showing us viewers. We should never forget to be steadfast in our faith and love for the Lord for His will be done in our lives so we could live peacefully and happily. See you again tomorrow. [wave])

“So when we go down we need to be in a formation right away ok?” Maya gives last minute instruction to the family as soon as they arrive at the Village Christmas Party. There was only one thing. Their arrival garnered strange looks from the residents of the village. For one, they don’t know a lot of the other residents. Secondly Nikki noticed something. “Why is it that we are the only ones in a costume?” Nikki asked. Maya scratched her head and Richard looked hecka funny in his blinking Santa hat and green crooked bowtie. He looks priceless. [rofl] He made me laugh so hard. Here’s a preview….
