SC/Maya continuation ng convo sa labas ng condo:
SC: So sabihin na ba natin sa mga bata? What do you think Maya?
Maya: Ako?
SC: Oo, this is your decision too.
Maya: Eh mga anak mo sila eh, mas kakilala mo sila mas kilala ka nila.
SC: We are in a relationship, the decision should come from both of us, personally gusto kong sabihin sa kanila agad, I mean pagdating ko sa bahay.
Maya: Huh!
SC: Calm down, personally lang yun ako lang yun, but I understand youR hesitation. Ayoko pa rin silang biglaan for your sake and for theirs. So, what do you think?
Maya: Ah eh Chief ko wag kang magagalit ha?
SC: Of course not I want to hear your opinion.
Maya: Ok, iniisip ko lang kasi ayaw ko naman sa mag nega Chief ko pero…
SC: Frankly I’m having a hard time taking you seriously everytime I hear that.
Maya: Ah eh yun na nga Sir Chief ayokong mag nega pero iniisip ko di ba dapat na maghintay muna tayo.
SC: Until they are ready?
Maya: Oo at saka pag ready na rin tayo.
SC: Meaning?
Maya: Eh kasi di naman madali pinagdaanan nila kay Maam Alex.
Sc: Alex.
Dinner Table:
When Maya decided to be with Richard, she knows that she’s not only having a relationship with him. She also has to maintain relationships with each of the kids. In short, instant family, but Maya is perfectly fine with that. She knows that whatever relationship she already has with the kids, she needs to build from that foundation and make it better. As Maya held Nikki’s gift, she is mostly worried about how Nikki would react to the situation, since she was the tough one to break through. And of course, Abby is just the opposite. This little girl is so intuitive, that even she is dropping hints to Maya letting her know she knows how her Yaya/Ate Maya feels towards the “Mahal na Hari” as she tells the story in her own perspective. Yesterday’s episode was the first I saw Nikki and Luke acknowledge Maya with a hug and kiss on the cheek, just like how they normally acknowledge their dad. Richard is very lucky to have found someone, especially given Maya’s age to comprehend all these and be selfless enough to understand. Reality, most women would’ve found the kids as a competition with Richard’s time. But not Maya, these children are part of her bonus. Her relationship with them is as important as her relationship with Richard, if not more.
“You’re the boss…” That’s right!. I guess Richard believes in that saying, “A happy wife is a happy life.” He definitely had found his match. When Maya puts her head on something, nothing or no one can change her decision. She only had to follow orders from Richard back then only because she had to. But now it’s really funny how she takes control and somewhat order Richard around. But at the same time, she still knows who wears the pants in the relationship. With her infamous coffee in her hands, she offers it to her man while he puts his “CEO” hat on.
Dinner Table: Even when they were so disconnected Richard had always made sure that the family eats and reconvene at the dinner table. Whether it’s a good day or a bad day and each one has his/her own thing going on, but at the beginning and the end of the day, this is when the Lims become a family. This part of the home had become the headquarters where everyone can connect and share stories. As Richard watched Maya became the highlight of the family’s dinner with a sweet smile on his face, he realized that Maya fits in so perfectly and that she had become a part of it almost instantly. When Maya first came along, she was able to see the side of the family that weren’t that pretty. But each day, Maya had slowly fixed each gap. The family’s foundation that was tore down by challenges and loss, but with Maya’s love for the children and Richard she was able rebuild them a new and stronger base. The glimpse of Richard’s memories, showed the slow transition on how his family became one again and Maya was the center of that. It’s almost like his family wouldn’t be complete without her in it. Therefore, when she was asked if she know what she’s getting in to. Yes, she does…
Maya: Yun kay Alex. Sobrang mahal nila si Alex tapos nawala. Ser Chief hindi naman sa pinangungunahan ko yun tayo pero, ano eh ah. Hindi natin masabi di ba kung tuloy-tuloy na ito. Sobrang mahal kita pero ayoko din naman pagdaanan ng mga bata yun, yun pinagdaanan nila nun nawala si Alex, paano kung maghiwalay tayo? Oh paano sila?
SC: Thank you for caring for the kids kahit na bago pa lang tayo.
Maya: Eh Sir Chief mahal ko din naman sila simula pa lang at ayoko silang nasasaktan kaya kung ako maghintay na lang muna tayo, ngayon pa lang naman tayo nagsisimula eh kumbaga sa sapatos kakalyuhin pa tayo. Ok lang na tayo na muna ang magkakalyo huwag na muna natin silang isama.
SC: Ok tayo na muna, we’ll tell them when we we’re ready. Sige na pumasok ka na.
Maya: Ok bye Chief ko, uy magtext ka pagdating mo sa bahay ha?
SC: Nod.
Gusto ni SC sabihin agad sa mga bata, as soon as he gets home daw. Wait pa daw ng konti sabi ni Maya para ready sila at ang mga bata.
first time I haven’t watched the epi yet but contending to read the reviews bec I’m on gogo & trying to figure out how to go around this supposedly unallowed streaming… ugh.
Oh well can’t wait till tonight to get my BCWMH fix so my MINKies, I trust you’ve been very busy here hehe…
Maam Alex, kinorect ni SC…Alex <3. Awwww Maya’s so thoughtful sa mga kids. At dahil dun lalaong nainlove si Daddy Pogi.
Maghintay lang muna sabi ni Maya bago sabihin sa mga bata. Ayaw daw niya mapagdaanan ng mga bata ang pinagdaanan nila kay Alex in case hindi talaga sila magkatuluyan. Sabi ni SC, thank you for caring for the kids daw or to that effect. Mas lalong nainlove si SC kay Maya dahil dun.
Late night visit ni Elmer, speechless ang Sabel. Hahahah hapit na hapit daw na sando. DorBel hala!
Huli kayo ni SC! Panic ang DorBel ang sagot ng boss “O kalma. Don’t stay up too late.”
Nahuli ni SC ang Dorbel sa labas, natakot ang dalawa mapagalitan pero sabi lang ni SC ay, “Kalma don’t stay up too late!” nashock ang Dorbel! May pakalma kalma na daw si Sir!
OUT OF THE MOUTH OF BABES
As I sit down to pen my sentiments on today’s episode, with Joshua Bell playing in the background, I find myself enveloped in the peaceful warmth in his beautiful classical interpretation of Saint Saens’ “Swan”, a piece that inspires me to express, in kind, my thoughts into word.
If I may borrow a phrase from the Good Book that would echo the sentiments of the one who truly knows the “real score” between her Daddy and Ate Maya, it would be the phrase “…..out of the mouth of babes……” Today is Abby’s day, the heart and soul of “Be Careful With My Heart.”
Richard and Maya decided to postpone telling his children that they are now in a relationship. They agreed that it is too soon to do so, as they are yet unsure what the future has in store for them. Additionally, they wanted to spare the children the unnecessary pain that comes if they ever agreed to part ways.
However, Abby undoubtedly knows what is happening between her two most favorite people in her young life, her Dad and her Ate Maya. The latter has, after all, served as her surrogate mother. Through the lenses of her innocent eye and uncluttered mind, she can see quite clearly and can feel rather strongly the signals and the vibrations that the two of them have been exchanging between each other, way before each of them realized what was going on between them. Abby takes Maya aback when she intuitively demonstrates to her nanny her own interpretation of their favorite on-going bedtime story of the Mahal na Hari at Mahal na Prinsesa.
For the edification of those who have just joined the increasing number of viewers of this teleserye, let me give you a brief background to this fairy tale. When Maya started working for the Lim family, she felt an instant attraction towards the master of the house. In her own inventive way, she found a creative outlet for her feelings in the bedtime fairy tale that she narrates to her young charge. Maya, in essence, is the Mahal na Prinsesa and her master, the father of Abby, who is placed in her charge, is the Mahal na Hari. This attraction was slowly nurtured into unrequited love. However, as all fairy tales have a tendency to have happy endings, the unrequited love turned into reciprocated love. In other words, in real life, the Mahal na Hari fell in love with the Mahal na Prinsesa. But in the fairy tale, our young charge, has not been told of this recent development, yet. At least, that is what the storyteller, who is also the Mahal na Prinsesa, incorrectly assumed.
Now, with great insight, Abby shares with Maya her own spin of their private fairy tale. She tells of the Prinsesa becoming a fairy and acquiring her own wings. According to Abby, this enables the fairy to fly and visit various gardens. And Abby adds that even though the fairy is busy, she never fails to come back to visit the garden of the Mahal Na Hari, from time to time. Quizzed by Abby why? Maya answers the question for the fairy, partially: “Because the fairy wants to visit the little prince and the two little princesses, of course!” However, Abby undaunted in her own youthful way, gently coaxes an admission from Maya, of the real reason why the fairy visits the king’s garden, by adding the adjoiner: “….and also to visit the Mahal na Hari, right?” Maya, momentarily caught off guard at the wisdom her little ward is showing, is forced to admit the truth. That the Mahal na Prinsesa comes to visit, not just the little prince and little princesses, but also, the Mahal na Hari. Abby proves to Maya that the former maybe young and innocent, but she is also, a wise “old soul.” Abby also communicates to her former nanny that she is aware of the undercurrents between her and her Dad. And most importantly, Abby lets Maya know that she approves of it.
On another scene, around the dining table, with Luke and Nikki in attendance, Abby sends her Dad a coded message that she undeniably gives her stamp of approval for him to pursue her Ate Maya. She declares, “I trust Dad but, I don’t trust the others who may vie for Ate Maya’s affection.” She delivers this message with confident-boosting look to her Dad.
Manang Fe also shows her support of the lover’s stance to keep their relationship temporarily a secret from the children. She does this by jolting Richard from his reverie and interrupting his open display of affection for Maya, before anyone else notices his dreamy state of mind. Thankfully, the teenagers are engrossed in Maya’s delivery of her interesting adventures as a flight attendant that they totally missed the loving cues their Dad were sending towards Maya.

SC: Ako rin, I was waiting for you to call.
Maya: Ako din naghintayan pala tayo.

Maya: Short cut ng Chief ko, ok ba?
Sc: You’re the boss. Ah later baka hindi kita maihatid sa airport I have a meeting.

Maya: Ok lang kung busy ka huwag mo ng pilitin.
SC: No, sunduin kita.

Maya: text mo na lang ako pag nasa office ka na ha? Bye Chieko, I love you.
SC: I love you.
Wake up call ni Maya ang Chiko nya. SC, you must really love her to death at natatake mo yung Chiko na yan.
Bye chieko I love you… I love you. Awww namiss ko yang iloveyou na yan kasi tawa ako ng tawa sa Chiko.
tell the kids about your relation.but you know in reality there’s nothing to worry if the kids know your relation they all love you Maya. I am not assuming but can’t you see ?kids love to be close to you Maya..I hope by Monday there will be more intense romantic episode between SC & Maya.

Maya: Ay! Ok naman masaya tapos heto o bumili ako ng mga pasalubong para kay Abby, kay Nikki at saka kay Luke
SC: Lahat yan?
Maya: Ah hindi naman yun iba dito para kina Nanay.
SC: I thought you’re trying to bribe them.
Maya: Excuse me Chieko, hindi ko na sila kailangan ibribe no?
SC: Confident!
Maya: Hmm actually hindi nagpapalakas lang ako ng loob kasi ninenerbyos ako eh at saka alam mo na para may bala ako pagdating ng panahon na handa na tayong sabihin sa kanila.
Sc: I’ll give these to them.
Maya: Ok.
Ang cute ng magkapatid. Nagbabangayan at kulitan. Gandang tawa lang ni Daddy Pogi. Ang saya ni SC habang pinagmamasdan ang 2 nagbabangayan.

Hahaha yung kay Maya kasi nagpigil sya ng matagal kaya ayan na kaya dapat hwag na rin magpigil si CHIKO showy showy na rin pag may time.

I hope hindi maging hadlang si Nikki or Luke sa magiging relasyon ng dalawa, maybe she can be more open kay Maya para meron siya mapagsabihan like yan nararamdaman niya towards Nicolo.
Na cute-tan ako when Maya sniff SC hair haha parang bata haha pero ang sweet hindi nag react si SC kasi he knows na ginagawa na ni Maya yun before haha akala siguro hahalikan sya lol.

I can relate kay Maya. Late bloomer din ako. Kasi sa kakapigil sa nararamdaman sa crush, date, then naging bf mo na. Mas showy and touchy ako. Parang gustong-gusto mo bang iexpress yung love na love mo siya. Nangigil ka. And ganun din si hubby at first katulad ni SC di masyadong showy. Ngayon nahawa na.

I think Maya is trying to find a way para malusutan nila si Nikki kung bakit sila magkasama ni Ser Chief (at di pa alam ni SC ang plan ni Maya, thus he asked Maya san siya pupunta).
Baka kunyari sinundo lang siya ni Ser Chief para mavisit ni Maya si Abby or something like that. I don’t think aamin na sila sa mga kids at this point. Well, they can always surprise us as they always do!

“Tara na Chiko!”
The first time I heard Maya say this was when I was driving my kids to school this morning with my earphones on and the iphone on the dashboard.
Before anybody reacts, my eyes were on the road okay, so that is why I said, the first time I HEARD it. Anyway, the first time I heard it, I laughed so hard.
I didn’t even see how Maya said it. By the time I got home, after watching it several times already, watched it again on a big screen monitor and I am telling you guys, Chiko is growing on me. It makes me laugh everytime she says it. It is a welcome reprieve everytime a scene gets so melodramatic, somehow, calling my Richard Chiko would take all the seriousness away. So there, Chicko it is. I am a convert.
For those who think that Maya is childish, this episode quells that notion. It clearly shows that she does have a good head on her shoulders.
Going with Chiko to the house to personally give the presents was a good move on Maya’s part.
This is kinda what I was trying to get at yesterday with Winnie….. this is one way to show to the kids that Chiko (literally laughing right now! can’t type anymore coz I am laughing so hard…..ha ha ha ha …can’t get over the sound of that name….ha ha ha….the fruit always comes up and it is covering Chiko’s face!… bwa ha ha ha ha ha…) wait….I got lost again….ha ha ha…..in a way, this Chiko name is taking away my fantasy of kissing my Chad…ha ha ha…
Anyway, nasaan na ba ako? ah…by seeing that their Dad and their Ate Maya are getting closer as friends, somehow, when and if they do tell the kids later on, it wouldn’t be a surprise anymore…kinda like a smooth transition.
Luv the flashbacks. Chiko…..wait, I better not use this TOE anymore so I won’t get distracted…..Ser Chief clearly showed he was enamored with Maya long before pa. And when he didn’t answer Abby while he was having flashbacks, I am sure, everybody else noticed that he was in a trance while staring at Maya.
Love the smile on Chad’s face when Maya came in to give him coffee. I don’t know how many times we’ve seen Maya bring him coffee but I think this is the first time Chad (my TOE for my Richard ha ha ha) ever gave her that enchanting smile in the principal’s office.
Love the Sabel, Doris and Joma moments. Somebody mentioned before that they are fillers. I don’t think so.
They all play a role in making this show a hit. Hindi sila corny, hindi OA. The scenes are always appropriate and called for.
And when Doris spoke her line of ….”bakit kay Clarissa May lang umiikot ang mundo niya, samantalang….”
That was like a wakeup call for me. I got so hooked with this show that I have missed some bills or deadlines and other stuff too many to mention.
My world revolves around BCWMH and TFC.TV. It’s like playing that farmville game on FB. I had to stop it when one day, I was rushing to get back home coz I had forgotten to water my crops. It was that bad.
So on that note, I am signing off. Time to go smell the roses or to go shopping for sales!
One good thing that came out from this addiction is that I have cut my spending skills. I haven’t been to the mall for a long time! ha ha ha…

It’s really nice to know that Maya and Richard have this common goal of eventually telling the kids about them. Maya’s buying small tokens for the kids represents her efforts in preparing herself toward that goal. She is showing Richard that she really cares for the kids and thinks of them too. At the condo, their casual conversation was interrupted by Nikki’s telephone call. Nikki finds out that they are together and asks why so Richard told her that Maya have gifts for them. After they hang up, Maya decided to go with Richard to the mansion to give the gifts to the kids.
At the mansion, everyone was happy to see Maya. She distributed her gifts to the delight of everyone and at the dinner table, she told stories about her flights to the kids. All the while, Richard was standing behind her reminiscing Maya’s first days at the mansion. He saw then how chaotic it was at times Nikki and Abby fighting. There were no conversations amongst them at the dinner table. But with Maya’s presence, things slowly changed. She managed to put a smile on their faces when Abby eats her dinner so she could go to the park the next day. Maya manages to serve them Richard’s favorite dish. She serves the whole family and specially Richard with tender care. Richard, eventually warming up to her, sharing half of his dessert. Maya’s presence brought so much positivity to their daily life. All of a sudden they are all smiling and enjoying their meals together like a family. Perhaps Richard is seeing this picture of his family with Maya. (I have to say malagkit na naman ang pagtingin ni Richard kay Maya and I am slowly warming up to Chieko.)
It was very heart warming to see Maya interact with the kids. She bonded with them but most specially with Abby. When it was time to go, Abby asked her when she was coming back? She told Abby she would come back tomorrow after her flight to the delight of Abby.
On the ride back to the condo, Richard tells Maya she doesn’t need to go back to the mansion because she needed rest. Maya reminded Richard’s question to her before if she knew what she was doing getting into in this relationship? She said yes she knows this is part of their relationship including the kids. She is happy to love the kids, Abby, Nikki and Luke.
This episode, for me, doesn’t need to be dissected or analyzed to death because it is pretty straightforward. Maya and Richard are both preparing to deliver the message to the kids. They are laying down the foundation, slowly but surely; this way they can be sure that no hearts will be hurt and the kids will hopefully give them their love and support.
The teaser allows us to see the children’s insight to a potential relationship for both Maya and Richard. Abby says she does not trust anyone who is going to court her Ate Maya but she trusts her Dad. Nikki continues to learn about boys and Luke is moving on. I can’t wait.
PS…in today’s episode Maya was so pretty, her face was so bright and sunny with her simple but perfect yellow blouse. She really glowed. I just thought that was worth mentioning. Favorite moments: discussing whether Maya should go to the Mansion, take the bus home, ihatid ni Chieko or spend the night at the mansion. 2nd yong Muni muni ni Richard 3rd the conversation in the car and….4th Abby’s tiwala only to Daddy pogi and not Maya’s suitors. The best part, walang real cliff hanger. Just plain ol’ feel good going into the weekend. Buh bye for now. Love you all Minkies and Monk (nasa pinas na ang Head Monk)

It’s been a great week, as we witnessed and joined our beloved Maya & SC take their journey in to the next level — “In A Relationship” I enjoy reading everyone’s comments and thoughts all throughout the week, so now I feel a should share a few of mine:
The Kids: They will sense and just know it in their hearts what’s really between their Dad and Ate Maya but would be hesitant to confront them, so instead they would put them on the spot, in hope that they can make them admit the real score. With the help of DorBel, Joma, Manang Fe there may even be a few scenes which would be in essence comedic: i.e: They’ll hear Maya calling Richard “Chiko”, so somehow the chiko fruit would be served as dessert or something. When the couple would finally admit the truth, instead of it being dramatic or heavy and in line of how this show is it should be in essence a bit comedic :)… Of course there would be a serious talk about it afterwards!!!
The weekend is here, BCWMH withdrawal for a couple of days, but I’m sure I will be viewing previous episodes in the meantime. As for the scene which a lot of fans think had been edited, deleted? Maybe, it will happen when they get back in the condo — Chiko would stay a while before heading back home and BOOM there it is!!!

Okay walang masyadong kilig moment sa episode na ito. I guess malayo layo pa ang kissing scene nila. Tama yung desisyon ni Maya na kailangang sya mismo ang magbigay ng mga pasalubong sa mga bata sa ganoong paraan mas lalong mapapalagay ang loob nila sa kanya. Expanded ang air time ng mga kasambahay’s which added a comical scenario in today’s episode.
Si Nikki lang naman ang ultimate na pwedeng magka issue dahil syempre mahirap sa palagay nyang mapalitan ang mommy nya ng kahit kaninong babae for his dad. She’s looking up to Maya now say for instance:
(1) In the bookstore she mentioned Maya prioritizing her studies first and still being NBSB (No Boyfriend Since Birth). Without knowing na sila na pala ng daddy nya. Kaya mas anxious tayong makita ang reaction nya more than kay Abby and Luke.
(2) In this episode sabi ni Nikki: “Thank you ate Maya you’re the sweetest!” In a way parang yung conversation nila Abby and Maya plus Nikki acknowledging her gesture dahil sa pasalubong ang nag udyok (naks naman udyok) kay Maya to visit the Lim Residence.
Si Abby ang mas boto sa daddy at Ate Maya nya. Like yung sinabi nya na yung prinsesa binibisita rin ang Mahal na Hari ano pa nga ba di ba? And yung elder Lim kids open naman sila for their dad na makipag date so let’s see … ito din talaga ang pinaka aabangan nating stage sa bagong relationship nila.
Vital rin naman na yung flashback ni Richard habang nagku kuwento si Maya about her experiences as a Flight Attendant kasi talaga namang si Maya ang dahilan at nanumbalik ang mga ngiti at kasayahan ng pamilya nya lalo na noong nakaraang Mr. Masungit pa sya.
And yung paghatid ulit ni Richard kay Maya pauwi, so sweet boyfriend kahit sinabi nang hindi nya na kayang ihatid pabalik sa condo. Ayiii parang asawa ko talaga kahit na sinabing no … yes pa rin just to make me happy! Ahahaha … nakiki feeling Maya na namannnn!!!

Usually, it’s BCWMH that out ranks the other shows even Ina Kapatid Anak. But now…even after the press release on the “changing of status”….the rating was just that?
Look at Ryza Mae’s show…well, it’s really no competition…but it has increased. From the usual 10% it’s now up 14%

That’s the usual ranking of BCWMH for total philippines na range. 3rd-4th mula pa noon. Kung Mega Manila, yun palagi siyang first.

Maya is just going to visit the kids. Since Nikki heard her in the background, might as well pretend that Ser Chief is just giving her a ride to the mansion so she can give her gifts.
I don’t think they will come out in the open yet…perhaps another 3 weeks.
Here’s to hoping that by next week…we’ll hear the end of “Chieko” TOE. It just won’t and can’t fly.

Margaux-Celyn reconciliation draws strong viewership
MANILA, Philippines — The ratings of ABS-CBN’s daytime and primetime blocks were boosted on Tuesday by the turn of events in two Kapamilya series.
“Be Careful With My Heart” easily beat the nationwide ratings of its competing program, “The Ryzza Mae Show,” on May 21, when the lead characters of the “kilig-serye” finally made their relationship official.
According to the TV ratings data of multi-national market research group Kantar Media, the daytime soap on Tuesday registered 24.9% in national TV ratings, versus its rival show’s 12.0%.
Kantar Media uses a nationwide panel size of 2,609 urban and rural homes, representing 100% of the total Philippine TV viewing population.
The episode of “Be Careful With My Heart” on May 21 saw Sir Chief (Richard Yap) and Maya (Jodi Sta. Maria) finally deciding to become a couple, eliciting “shrieks” and “kilig” among followers of the show online, who declared a “national mag-on day.”

SC: She heard you when you’re shouting about the juice. Relax, no harm done.
In here, we see the different sides of it. We see that unconditional love a parent has for their kids. That mother’s love (Nanay Teresita) for her daughter (Maya) embracing and be more accepting and understanding in letting her (Maya) spread her wings and fly soaring high not only for her dreams but also accepting that she was no longer hers to keep and yet willingly and with open arms embraced those she chose to love with no prejudice. Or that father’s love for his children, doing his best to love and care for his brood and always taking into consideration on their welfare and shielding them from further hurt and pain even if it meant taking a step back and sacrifice his happiness for their sake. That fatherly love… to be sensitive enough to the needs of his kids especially those that are most vulnerable (Nikki) and patiently paying attention and preparing them by taking it slow, calculating every move and slowly preparing them for the eventual reveal of the relationship he now shares with his ladylove.
And then there’s Maya… Her selfless acts of love to those most important to her – to Richard for encouraging him to build more on his relationship with the kids by spending more quality time with them even if it meant sacrificing their time together is admirable; or the kids by continuing to shower them with little gestures of love/appreciation thru her “pasalubongs”, lovingly keeping them in her thoughts to every flight she took; and of course, her special bond with Abby, by ensuring that the line of communication between them is always open by sharing with her Abby, her many adventures in her new profession.
And then, the kids… Their love for their Ate Maya had come a long way. Their bond has transcended blood and DNA… and that they have embraced their Ate Maya as important part of their everyday lives that anything and everything about their Ate Maya has become their concern as well to the point that they now want to have a say and want to be involved with the affairs of their Ate Maya’s life – Abby’s over protectiveness over her Ate Maya and even Nikki’s quality control at the thought of suitors and admirers. And of course, with the renewed and growing relationship with their Dad, they have gradually opened up at the thought of their Dad dating and eventually having a relationship.
On to the lighter side… it’s refreshing to reminisce those moments when your surroundings seem all rosy and happy… that sharing with friends and colleagues all come naturally and the constant thought of ways to show love and affection to those we hold dear are what occupies our every days. Love, love, love… it does make the world go round. : D

SC: (knocking) Maya, what are you doing? Maya if you’re still thinking about the kids.

Maya is such a sweet girlfriend. Sana di malunod si Richard sa sobrang pag ka demonstrative niya. I hope na kahit hindi sanay si Richard sa mga little celebrations in their relationship, he will continue to indulge Maya until she feels secure and confident in what they have. Importante ang mga eto for Maya right now especially when everything is rosy and romantic to her that is why she makes up all these cheesy TOEs and events. She is at her happiest when she is able show her love and care to the people most important to her especially Richard who is her boyfriend now. Sabi nga ng pamilya Dela Rosa eh talagang magimik masyado si Maya.
I understand if later on Richard will start to feel awkward rather than elated with Maya’s exuberance in showcasing her love and affection since he isn’t use to it. He can be blunt and really frank so I hope Maya will not get offended. They had a lot of verbal sparring before so I can only hope that Maya will take it in her stride and use it as an encouragement to better herself. I am not saying that the Maya right now is not good enough for Richard. What I am trying to say is that because of the generation gap, they should learn to meet in the middle, Richard to let Maya celebrate every first and milestone in their relationship and for Maya to slowly refine her excitement and (pardon me for saying this) her cheesiness. I know it is cute but makes me cringe sometimes LOL.
For sure they have a lot to learn and Maya needs some growing up to do but not to the point that she will level up to Richard’s maturity and sophistication kasi baka ibang show na ang pinapanuod natin nun or if not baka nag ka personality transplant na si Maya nun. I am pretty sure, given enough time Maya will be able to stand shoulder to shoulder among Richard’s equals in business and society in her own endearing way. The only thing Richard will have to do is to reciprocate whatever that will make Maya’s heart sing because knowing Maya she will give the best of her everything for him. I don’t want to see a broken Maya because Richard has had enough of her childishness if you can call it that or for Maya to feel pressure to become someone she isn’t. For me that will be a tragedy. So Richard please be careful of Maya’s heart. I am scared of what you can do to her more than the reactions of Nikki and Luke when they find out she is your girl.
A few complain that the show is getting boring, dragging, blah… blah… blah and are not happy to watch the development of the storyline especially with the recent arcs injected to move the story forward. Gusto straight to the point na kagad at wala na masyadong narrative. Pati yung comedic relief ng Joma-DorBel pinanggigilan. Eh pag ganun nga naman eh hanggang June na lang talaga ang show na eto. LOL noon gusto maging mag on na agad-agad. Tapos ngayon leps to leps naman. Pag na-achieve yun follow na ang kasal, honeymoon then baby. Hay ayos sana kung we are watching a movie or Korean dramas which have 16-24 episodes lang. Since BCWMH has no target date of ending, it is only natural that there are many more story arcs to be added in the show yet still vital to the developing relationship of Richard and Maya. Since this drama mirrors the day to day activities of the characters, no matter what we do the writers will continue the story what they deemed important to keep the show going whether we like it or not. Besides kahit noon pa man hinatulan na rin naman ang show na eto yet many continue to support it and gains new fans. Dito pa lang sa TFC eh kita naman ang resulta.
Buti na lang mas marami love and show na eto and continue to inspire the cast and crew. I don’t blame those who have been disappointed or disheartened kasi kanya-kanyang trip lang naman yan. Ang ayaw ko lang eh sobra naman makapag comment. Sabagay freedom of speech so go na lang.
Maya: Yun naman pala eh at saka gusto ko rin na ako mismo ang magbigay nito sa mga bata.
SC: Pero kasi…
Maya: Pagod ka na at hindi mo na kayang ihatid ulit ako dito?
SC: Yes, not that you said it pareho tayong mapapagod lalo.
Maya: Ang dami mo pang palusot eh. Eh di magbabus ako o di kaya magji-jeep.
SC: Delikado.
Maya: Taxi.
SC: Gagastos ka pa.
Maya: Eh di dun ako matutulog.
SC: Good idea.
Maya: Hmmm yun, yun ang gusto mo.
SC: Siyempre.
Maya: Hindi pwede uuwi ako dito.
SC: But you can stay over sa house…
Maya: Ah Chieko ang dami dami mo pang sinasabi halika na, halika na.
You and Aira are similarly pretty according to Abby. You and Aira are video gamers according to Nicolo. If Nicolo crushes on Aira, then HE CRUSHES ON YOU!
Nanay T is impressed by Maya with how much she cares for Richard and family. Maya is happy to give in to Richard’s time with the kids. While at the office, Abby tells them stories of Maya’s flights. They apparently speak to each other practically every day. She tells them of passengers that complement Maya’s beautiful smile to the amusement of both Luke and Nikki and surprised Richard. Nikki teases Abby about how she needs to approve of anyone that would court Maya stricter than their Dad dating. She says of course that she trusts her Dad but not those guys that may be courting Maya. Ha ha…they just don’t know.
Maya’s batchmates and co FA’s plays with Maya as they drop her off. Aliw na aliw sila kay Maya they are so cute.
“O ingat Maya baka madapa ka. Siguro may naghihintay say o no? Kaya naman pala e. Teka Maya kayo na ba?”
“Hmm Mag one week na”
“Aba bilang na bilang o..(teasing and laughing) Hoy boys ano ba”
“ok lang yon. Hindi naman ako nagpapaapekto sa dalawang yan. Basta ako naniniwala na if you love someone, everyday is Valentines day.”
“E sino naman ang nagsabi niya?”
“Boyfriend ko syempre”
Such a fun conversation.
Richard was waiting for Maya at the lobby. They said their hello’s and highlights of the day. But what got me most of all is the elevator ride. First the holding hands…then the smiles on their faces. Richard brings up Abby’s story. Maya wonders if he is jealous. He says no. Richard has a lot of confidence in Maya’s love for him but most importantly, he appears proud of this beautiful woman of his.
At the condo, Richard tells Maya she does not need to keep buying things for the kids. Maya tells Richard that she thinks about them (and her de la Rosa family) even when she is away to different places and it makes her happy to buy these tokens for them. Although Richard says she doesn’t have to, Maya tells Richard that she wants to begin repaying him her debt. She doesn’t want to owe her boyfriend any money. She is a woman with principle and maturity. Richard couldn’t argue.
Maya brings up celebrating their one-week anniversary. They talk about having dinner at the condo and Maya was thinking about what to cook for Richard. It appears that Richard is not too fond of Maya’s cooking. This is the 2nd time Richard talked about Maya’s cooking. The aroz caldo wasn’t too much of a hit for Richard either. Poor Maya. It looks like you are going to have to go to cooking school.
Maya calls up Raffy to ask about the dinner plans. They have a warm conversation and Raffy gives her advice how to personalize their dinner date for that evening. She teases Maya about being a “sentimental couple”…
Aaahh today’s episode is just so much fun. Super kilig the elevator part and the conversation at the condo. I didn’t mention anything about Dorbel and Joma but I can sum it up into one fact…Joma’s hair does not look anything like the wavy gorgeous hair of Ejay. Aaawww…kinilig din ako doon. Ang katawan, ang porma ni Ejay…man…he can walk around without a shirt all day and lemme just stare at that six pack…Yawsa….Anyway..back to the epis…excited na ako what is going to happen tomorrow. Mag dadate si Daddy pogi and inayos pa ni Nikki ang collar niya. They are really happy that Daddy is having a life.
I know some of you have said for me to watch the teasers. Ayoko…I want a surprise. I don’t want to know anything about tomorrow or next week’s epis. I just want to wait until it shows para may excitement naman ako. To be honest, last week, duon sa tayo na, wala nang excitement ko kasi I already know everything from the Friday teasers. So this might mean hindi ako magbababad ditto kasi may mga spoilers which sometimes yall can’t help it.
One last thing…I would have wanted to see the entire conversation about the “amoy ng buhok”…I know there is more there they left on the editing floor.

Nakakaiyak at nakakainlove at the same time. ang ganda ng naging journey nila.
Although the lovebirds have had a chance to live under the same roof before, they did so in different circumstances. Richard was Maya’s employer; Maya was Abby’s nanny. Initially, Richard found Maya irritating; Maya was fearful of him. Not in their wildest imagination could they have conceived the notion that they would be attracted to each other, much less find themselves deeply in love with each other. In their current situation, they live in separate households and they can’t stand being apart. They carefully carve opportunities into their busy work schedules the time to see each other, be it during the commute to and from the airport or a quick visit in Maya’s condo. They savor their precious moments together. They are so in love. They are understandably in a state of bliss.
The children’s acceptance is very important to them. They don’t want to keep them in the dark regarding their relationship nor do they want to shock them with a premature announcement. Maya has device a plan on how to win the children’s approval of her involvement in their Dad’s life. She plans to simply be her sweet old self, always thinking about them and loving them as if she were a close relative. She demonstrates this by buying little trinkets for them wherever her flight takes her. After all, it is culturally appropriate for loving relatives to bring home “pasalubong” for their loved ones. On the other hand, Richard has not quite figured out how he will go about breaking the news to his children. He bides his time by quietly observing them. Through their family discussions, he gathers the children’s reactions to their assumption of him dating. He learns how protective they are of their Ate Maya and her prospective suitors. These are indicative of how alert and aware his children are of events happening around them and, how Maya has inevitably become a part of their tight family circle, without any of them consciously realizing it.
Given the children’s current state of affairs, I believe that the children are inclined to accepting Richard and Maya’s relationship. They definitely are sending clear signals to their Dad that they are ready for him to love again. I firmly believe that when they will discover that Maya is his love interest, they will not only approve of her, they will be overwhelmingly ecstatic for them!

Why do I always feel like Ser Chief is talking to me? He probably saw me coz I was smiling the whole time. There is just one minor snag though.
They should have used “yuhum” instead of “kadlaw”. Yuhum means smile in English ( ngiti in Tagalog ) where you only show a little bit of your teeth or if you are conscious of the way you smile and want to be tweetums about it, a little bit of an upward move of the corners of your mouth will do.
Kadlaw on the other hand is all out laughter (or “tawa” in Tagalog) where not only does your teeth show but the inside of your throat and upper rooftop of your mouth as well. It is just lke “LOL” , ” LMHOFL ” or “BWA ha ha ha ha ha in cyber lingo…….
Now, I can aptly say……..” bwa ha haaa haa ha ha ..kanami guid sang kadlaw ko ” while I am typing this post.

Just watched BCWMH Sabado rewind with English subtitles and can’t help but noticed that Richard kissed Stephanie upon seeing her at St. Nicholas when he did mention to Maya that she was never his GF. I also recalled he kissed Atty. Ghie in the past episodes too. My question is , how come he so freely give away his kisses and hugs to just acquaintances and he didn’t even kiss Maya when he saw her at the condo’s lobby? Not even a hug?
I’m not asking for much but a simple peck on the cheek would have sufficed. Or maybe, a simple…”I miss you hug”? Or is he at that awkward stage kasi Maya is like his first GF since Alex and he’s kinda feeling like a newbie again? ha ha ha….Naku, Ser Chief, I will reiterate again what I have pointed out before on this forum. It doesn’t take much to make us women happy. Hmmm, maybe you need some pointers from Raffi as well, who I think is becoming like a MINK? …… coz she was trying hard to control her kilig that she was kinda silently squealing just like me!
Overall, another nice, “feel good” episode.

Much as I want it happening now I think I’ll let the writers take us to that stage when SerChief is more open with his PDA’s. Everytime he makes an attempt to kiss Maya it gets thwarted (courtesy of the director) so I’m just gonna go with the flow and not expect things to happen the way I want it.

btw, i saw asap 18 yesterday. i stayed glued waiting for the b-day celeb of sir chief. i was hoping he would sing “this thing called love” cuz i wanted to see how the audience would react…will they all treat him like a rock star like we here in soCal did during his performance at the shrine auditorium. everyone was standing up and clicking away with their respective jpegs, notepads, etc. i was a bit dissapointed with his choice of song, i could be your hero. pero sige na nga, pwede na rin! i guess my suggestion that maya change her term of endearment for sir chief from chico to chiefheart may be gaining grounds cuz the intro prior to sir chief’s performance in asap was chief – heart – throb.

“Kanami sang yuhum mo, gwapa gid” is a product of the two creative writers who came from Panay. Richard is pretty familiar with the dialect as well having a Negrense dad.
SerChief’s revelation to the kids might come within this week and I don’t think there’s gonna be a problem with them since they all adore Maya now. But I’m excited to see how the writers and directors will strategize the revelation of the girl’s identity.
If I were to make the scenes, Richard can tell the kids about his new GF but not reveal her identity. He’ll plan a dinner and invite his new GF to meet the kids. But the kids will devise a plan to snoop and spy on Daddy’s dating activities so in the end both SerChief and Maya will have a bigger surprise. I can just imagine if Nikki sees her dad holding hands with Maya, she’ll utter the biggest OH-MY-GEE ever…..LOL.

The preview didn’t show much promise. I guess it’s because these were the last scenes before their world tour. But I like the speaking parts of Baby Abby.
Bawal ang negative vibes, classmates. Ang importante we got a glimpse kung paano suminghot si Maya. They have their reasons naman siguro kung bakit hindi pinalabas. Maybe because of the limited airtime, effect to further developments sa story, o di kaya baka mag-amok si Real Love dahil sa selos.
I think I’m going to enjoy next week’s episode kahit na the “Abangan” seems to present na lesser focus will be given to Maya and Ser Chief. Nakakatuwa kasi tingnan yung mga Lim Kids especially Nikki and Abby. Si Abby walang malay sa mga nangyayari pero tagos na tagos naman yung mga banat. Si Nikki, dahil nga keen observant, is already suspecting na.
I also loved the fact na, “moving on” na si Luke. Hindi daw pang-rebound if ever magde-date at nakakacope na even without his books.
I’m also looking forward to Saturday’s BCWMH Rewind. May subtitles na raw. May equivalent kaya ang Kapit-Bisig sa English?

They just talked about the recently concluded world tour. Richard shared that fans from Canada told them that they’re their inspiration…I mean the show.

Good gracious I can’t believe I’m doing this at 9PM in the office, I thought I could wait to get home to say my lil piece regarding Tuesday’s episode.
This episode jumpstarts the navigation process of Ser Chief and Maya towards building a more established relationship. As I’ve said in my previous comment, we’re on Book 2 of this journey. This is where they start recognizing the do’s and don’t’s, the pros and cons, the ups and downs, pit falls and plateaus, peaks and valleys, highs and lows and good and bad of their relationship. They are on a different zone now after proclaiming their I Love You’s. Time to get to know each other’s likes and dislikes and in doing so, they will develop the ability to compromise which is a sign of a healthy relationship.
SerChief may not be that gung-ho about weeksaries but after a hectic workday did manage to visit Maya and had dinner with her. He may not look too ecstatic (to our dismay) about the whole shebang that Maya painstakingly organized but the fact remains that he loves her dearly. Maya with all her giddy self whose main concern is to celebrate a weeksary had a wake up call with regards to dealing with Richard who is just not into the whole anniversary thing. Does that make Richard love her less? Definitely, not. One lesson learned by Maya here is summed up by Kute, “hindi pwede lahat masusunod”.
What’s nice about this story is they have their council of advisers headed by Manang Fe, followed by Kute and Rafi who can give them advice as their relationship progress. The teaser showed that Manang Fe has given her advice to Richard that , “minsan yang maliliit na bagay ang makakapaligaya sa kanya”. I’m certain that Richard will take this cue from her to guide him in dealing with Maya in the future.
Navigating Relationship 101 – “Attempt to have realistic expectations of your partner and your relationship. It’s helpful not to expect perfection and to prepare for emotional ups and downs. You may not always feel happy or elated but this does not mean your relationship is doomed.”

Remember folks, we all fell in love with this Teleserye because at the end of the day each episode brings smile to our face. Somehow given the difference of demographics we can all relate to the story telling of the writers in our own different way. However I have to agree that the last few episodes does not have the same impact anymore, hence the alarming increase of what so called “NEGA” comments.

Maya: Ha?! Eh di ba favorite mo yun?

Maya: Ahh Chieko ha, alam mo nun time na nagluto ako ng kare-kare hindi mo pa ako gusto nun at saka kulung-kulo ang dugo mo sa akin kaya kahit masarap yun luto ko hindi mo nagustuhan.
SC: I don’t think so.
Maya: Ang sama mo.
SC: Hahaha.
Just remember that this is Maya´s first love affair..just listen to the their theme song..she is still in the kilig zone and SC is a widower & had experienced how to be in love & make love & has 3 children. Patience lang besides the writers are just listening to all your feedbacks re prolongation of the teleserye. I can sense that flashbacks & and unnecessary dialogues will be there.. the mentioning of “Dugong Buhay” is just far far from the essence of BCwMH story. Just enjoy the everyday episode.
Maya: Ay Chieko sandali siyanga pala may binili akong pasalubong para sa mga bata sana magustuhan ni Nikki yun binili ko sa kanya (bracelet) tapos heto kay Luke di ba mahilig siya sa libro (bookmark) tapos heto kay Abby tingnan mo ang cute cute para dalawa na yun alkansiya niya.
SC: Maya, you don’t have to buy all the kids stuff all the time.
Maya: Eh natutuwa lang naman kasi ako at saka kasi pag nakakarating ako dun sa mga pinupuntahan ko naaalala ko kayong lahat. Ikaw, yun mga bata, si Nanay si Cho at lahat ng mga tang tumulong sa akin para makarating man ako kung saan man ako dalhin ng flight ko kaya ayun gusto ko lang magpasalamat.
SC: Then thank us, you don’t have to buy for us all the time.
Maya: Ito naman ang sungit mo, sige na nga sige last na yun pero Chieko sa unang sweldo ko bibilhan ko pa rin sila pero last na yun promise at saka itutuloy ko na yun bayad sa utang ko sa’yo.
SC: You don’t have to pay it, you know?
May: Chieko, kailangan kasi utang yun kahit na tayo pa, kailangan magbayad pa rin ako sa’yo lalo na ngayon ayoko na may utang ako sa boyfriend ko.
SC: It’s up to you.
Truthfully, I’m conflicted with this episode. I’m battling between personal opinion and what the story is trying to present. I’m leaning more on Richard’s side, which wouldn’t be a surprise to many, because I can relate to his character more. I will surely try my best to be objective in covering both sides.
It’s no secret that when it comes to relationships, Maya is naïve on this arena. Not only is this her first relationship, there were several monkey wrenches thrown in the situation, just to make it interesting. She’s in a relationship with a high profile man, with three amazing children and 20-yr age difference, just to name a few. For someone who is a first timer, it’s understandable that everything is exciting. Maya is just experiencing lots of her “firsts” (hug, kiss, holding hands). She can barely get over term “boyfriend”. All of these are overwhelming for her. If before, that she wasn’t even in a relationship with Richard, she cherished everything and anything he did for her. Kept in her little keepsake box, Maya is basically creating a scrapbook as they go along. Maya’s way of expressing her happiness and how wonderful it is to have Richard in her life is to have this “weeksary” celebration. She’s obviously very excited about this milestone that she even lost sleep over it. So far, Richard is letting make all the decisions. “You’re the boss”, according to the chief. He’s even willing to tolerate him being called in reference to a fruit. Maya’s excitement is understandable. Everything is new to her. But at the same time, seems like she needs to turn it down a notch. Maya needs to realize that she’s not having a relationship with a teenager or someone who’s in his 20’s. While her man is at work and obviously having a very busy day, having a “kulitan” session is not the right time. One sure thing that will drive a man away is if their woman becomes too “clingy”. Richard is a busy man, running his own company and a father of three. Despite of his fully loaded schedule, he always makes sure to spend time with Maya or at least keep her informed of what’s going on with him. Maybe after a three long days of being out of town for work, Richard just wanted a simple dinner and just spend time with the woman he loves. No bells and whistles and just keep it low key. Richard is a romantic guy, which the audience have seen, but he is not as animated as Maya. People, especially men in his age do not pay that much attention to “monthsaries” or even anniversaries (I know I don’t). As people get older it becomes more quality than quantity. As for Richard, even though, these sweet nothings are really not his cup of tea, he needs to express his appreciation for Maya. She even said herself, she’s new at this and that she will be needing guidance. Richard is also trying to get back to the swing of things. It’s been a while since he was in a relationship.
Both need to realize that whatever one decides, effects the other one. They are officially a team now. If before they can function together as a team and they were wonderful at it, they can do it again. But first things first, Richard and Maya need to sit down and talk about each other’s expectations. Don’t just sweep issues under a rug and hope that it will fix itself. There needs to be compromise, Maya just can’t take this whole relationship and run wild with it. She needs to consider how Richard would feel about certain things and this goes same for Richard. Let Maya drive, but guide her, before she drives this whole thing off the cliff…

OPLAN: Get Nikki to Realize Her Feelings for Niccolo
Niccolo Cortez is in love with Nikki Grace Lim. He has been feeling this way for a while now. However, since Nikki is 3 years his junior, he cautiously represses these feelings. Additionally, he is Luke’s, Nikki’s brother’s best friend and the situation of him exposing his emotional attraction for his younger sister might get awkward and complicated. He certainly does not want to jeopardize his friendship with Luke. However, he is also eager to explore the possibility that Nikki is indeed worth waiting for. He wants to know if there is a slim chance that he can build a relationship, in the distant future, with her. He wants to ferret out what he thinks is a remote possibility that she might just be, just a little, attracted to him, as well.
Niccolo has been spending a lot of time with Luke. His goal is to help his best friend get out of his depression over losing Joey, his ex-girlfriend. However, Niccolo also has a hidden agenda. He wants to see Nikki, as well. In fact, he has shamelessly used all and every legitimate excuse to enable him to spend as much time this summer in the Lim household. He is also curious about a feeling that he picked up from Nikki, recently. He thinks that her friendly banter with him could be a possible attraction, as well. He simply wants to confirm it.
Niccolo’s goal for the summer is to get the message across to Nikki that he is interested in her. Additionally, he wants to know how she feels for him. Why by this summer? Niccolo is going to be attending college in a few weeks. He is literally running out of time. Summer is ending soon. So, he employs the reverse psychology approach.
Niccolo has devised a plan. He enlists Aira, his childhood friend, to go out with him, on a double date. The double date involves Luke. He arranges for Luke to meet one of Aira’s friends. Maybe Aira knows the big plan, maybe she doesn’t. But that is really inconsequential. All Niccolo wants to accomplish is to see Nikki’s reaction when she sees him with another girl. Initially, Nikki seems upset. But he wants to ascertain that her reaction was not because she disapproved of his matchmaking for Luke. After all, Joey, Luke’s ex, is her friend and she knew how much her brother loved her. However, Niccolo also desperately wants to believe that she is upset because she is jealous of Aira. Nikki treated his childhood friend quite rudely when he introduced them to each other. Nikki openly snubbed Aira. She even glared at her. Could it be because she is jealous of her? He would like to think so. But, he is cautiously being optimistic. He needs to gather some more evidence. His quest continues……..

Hello everyone…sorry I am late today. I actually contemplated whether I’m going to post or not. It is very disheartening to see that the negative vibes have clouded our wonderful group here at the TFC forum. I think the best thing to do is just click the thumbs down and move on…
ENTITLEMENTS
In today’s episode, I read what was already said about Maya and her overly excited reaction to the mark of their one week anniversary. As a late bloomer, and being in a relationship for the first time in her life, I didn’t expect anything less than the TOE and over preparation of only their one week anniversary. The one thing that Maya did right is that she recruited people’s opinions regarding her plan. She asked Raffy who is one who really really knows Richard and she says: Richard is now your boyfriend and you are entitled to celebrate every single moment. When she asked Ehman if she was being OA, he said the same thing: You are licensed to be OA because you are in love. And last but most important is that Maya told Richard that she wanted to celebrate and have dinner on their one week anniversary which Richard says “Ikaw ang bahala. Whatever you want.”
What broke my heart is when Richard forgot about the importance of this dinner date with Maya. I understand perfectly that he got really busy with work and also in being a father, he also drove to and from Clark, which I assume is far from Manila. But because I am a woman and sentimental like Maya, I would be hurt as well. Never mind that Richard forgot that this is a special night, when he saw the preparation Maya did, he should have at least showed signs of appreciation.
HOW RUDE
I do not know why being a Yaya or a house helper…Maid as commonly known is always looked down upon. I don’t know why Aira need to say that of Nikki’s bracelet. I admire Nikki because if that were me, she would meet my right hook right in the pucker. Nuff said. (OA ano?)
I am happy to see Richard hug Maya when she opened the door. I think Maya was so happy to see him that she initiated the hug but regardless, Richard responded which was nice to see. I think that they will have a lot of ups and downs from this point on because life is not always like a bed of roses and that is very realistic.
Congratulations to the cast and crew of BCWMH. I am still thankful that this show is here for me to enjoy and look forward to each and every day. Keep it coming.

I can understand that SC is tired after coming from his work but if you love someone you will be inspired and you are longing to see your love of your life and no more tiredness, isn’t it? I hope by tomorrow everything will be okay with them.
I have a piece of advice to Maya-(Do not put all your love and attention to one person only) so when the time comes that he is not interested in you you can just shake your shoulder and said “SOOO_WHAT” no harm done.

It has been a while since we saw Emman and his oh-my-pink bookbag. He provided the comic relief. At first, I was taken aback when he grabbed Maya’s notebook thinking he overstepped the boundaries of friendship, but after giving his pink opinions on Maya’s list of ideas for her weeksary preparation, he more than made up for his intrusion.
Niccolo continues to annoy Nikki to no end. To him, Aira may just be a good friend and not emotionally attached, he knows he is still in trouble with Nikki so he continues to cajole her. Nikki’s intense dislike of Aira grew after she disparaged the bracelet given by Maya which Nikki was so proud of. That was an uncouth remark from someone who seems to have a good breeding. Shouldn’t she be called “aura” instead?
I sensed the slight irritation on Richard’s face during their telephone conversation. Maya was so looking forward to her surprise weeksary celebration dinner – I did not know that there are so many variations for preparing kare-kare. She has become very giddy and outspoken for her love for her SC which is completely understandable. In the meantime, Richard is fazed by Maya’s over solicitousness. As their relationship is only a week old he wants to remain the “pursuer” than the “pursued”. And given the generation gap, he does not understand the concept of celebrating a weeksary. As he said before every day is Valentine’s Day. I sense trouble in the air. Richard did not seem appreciative of Maya’s efforts but I am sure he will make up for it big time next time. Richard has become an ideal parent, while he juggles his role as CEO and Maya’s inamorato (lover seems too cheesy for me) he makes sure he spends quality time with his children. I look forward to their next vacation. Will it be as memorable as Baguio?
Is “Ser Chief” back why not SWEET CHIEF? That for me is so original and sort of Maya’s TOE – she could have called him Sir like the others in the household or Chief like his employees but rather she coined SC. Personally, I do not give much thought to THE KISS. Peck on the cheek, holding hands or tight hugs works for me just the same. Call me Prudence but I believe on the moral values, Filipino tradition and life’s lessons that BCWMH imparts.

Much as I would like to end this review on a positive note, I cannot help but think that it is inconceivable for others to pick up the remote control and switch channels if the programme or an episode is not entertaining enough or not to their liking. The premise of BCWMH is quite simple and yet it brings so much joy to many of us. If I want to be intellectually challenged, I watch Jeopardy; if I need to keep abreast of current events, I watch CNN or Fox News however, there comes a time when I want pure entertainment and among the many serial programmes available to ALL of us, BCWMH is the one and only for me. Pure and true fan-addicts have seen each episode many times over – there may be peaks and volleys in the kilig moments but boring? Definitely not.

My thoughts on today’s episode:
—The mystery of Maya’s debt to Ricardo – Now, we finally get an update on the previously discussed “utang” of Maya. Was it just me or I saw “relief” in Ricardo’s face upon hearing that Maya insists on paying?
—Nikki Grace Lim’s reaction on hearing Ser Chief on the phone with the one he’s dating. She seemed okay with the idea (even in the preview for tom’s episode) so that’s a relief.
— Elevator Moments -Subtle kilig minutes. Though Maya seemed a bit disappointed that Ser Chief wasn’t jealous at all that other men compliment her.
—Nikki saying “but ate Maya’s pretty naman talaga di ba baby?” —I was silently wishing Ser Chief would butt-in and say “Of course!” Seriously, well at least, now Ser Chief knows that Nikki finds his GF pretty too.
—Baby Abby’s strict requirements -Oh baby Abby, if you only knew that you don’t have to worry about the possible suitors, instead, just worry about your dad’s damoves on Maya.
—Dorbel Dugong Buhay Moments– Well, they’re the comic relief after all. Though I don’t get it why they had to show so much clips from that show.
—Nikki’s jealousy– I think it’ll be good for her if she can confide with Maya about her feelings towards Nicolo.
–“Sa hinaba-haba man ng prusisyon” – This moment, I felt Ser Chief was trying to get Maya to say “Sa simbahan pa rin ang tuloy”which could’ve made the viewers feel more kilig coz of the implications of that statement. But much to Ser Chief’s dismay ( and viewers too ) , Maya didn’t take the bait.
–Maya consulting Rafi about the weeksary — I was kinda expecting this scene. Now, Maya can have someone to talk about her thoughts on her relationship with Ser Chief. Rafi’s presence is a welcome one.
I think the scene where Ser Chief will confess about having a gf will happen on Thursday.
Kilig dun sa elevator scene kanina at ang kwentuhan ng Lim kids tawa ako ng tawa tinignan ko din iyong facial reaction ni SC halo halo eh…hahaha!
Oks lang ‘yan Maya… tired lang si Chieko mo (di ko pa rin feel ‘yang TOE na ‘yan… Sorry Maya!)… as for you nman, Maya… listen to Kute… you know nman Sir Chief to be makaluma (años tiempos) ang effect…malay ba n’ya sa weeksary na ‘yan!
Pero licensed ka na ring magtampo… you’re entitled to that… nagtampo ka nga no’ng di ka lang naisama sa Mall n’ung Christmas, e! ‘Yan pa kaya…
But girl, bear this in mind… Sir Chief won’t change overnight… kasi ‘yong mga responsibilities n’ya before naging ‘kayo’ are still there… they won’t go away just because naging kayo na… if you feel na hindi ka n’ya naa-appreciate, that’s because of those responsibilities… ‘tsaka, weeksary is nothing compared to the lifetime that Sir Chief wants to spend with you… you will celebrate thousands of weeksaries with him…kayo pa!
Yan ang aking pino-point out since naging sila na. Walang aggressiveness si SC sa pisikalan na naipapakita, parang hindi man lang na-miss e 5 yrs na ang nakalipas!!! Huwag na kasing masyadong gentleman, hindi naman kami magre-reklamo eh dahil lubos naman nating siyang naiintindihan!
Kung may nag-lurk man na taga ABS, ulit ulitin natin ang hiling sa pisikalan, baka pakinggan din ang suggestions natin gaya ng pagsagot nila sa utang ni Maya kay SC. Baka makulitan din at sundin tayo! There’s no harm in trying ika nga.

Naisip ko lang, ang rent ni Maya kay Emman ay Php1,500/month. Kasama ba dito ang food? Hindi naman kasi napakita or nabanggit na nag-grocery si Maya (o baka namiss ko lang).

We all want the relationship to develop between Richard and Maya, right? We want Maya to mature as a person as she embarks in the relationship, as we want Richard to relive and relearn the ropes of being in a relationship. The disconnect on how they perceive the relationship is emerging… Indeed, men are from Mars and women are from Venus. Not only do men and women communicate differently but they think, feel, comprehend, react, love, need and appreciate differently… seemingly coming from different standpoints, speaking different languages and needing different nourishments. . Let’s witness how these two tackle the growing pains of being in a relationship apart from the joys of being in it.
Let us just be content on how this will be played in the coming episodes… let us be more patient and tolerant, for after all, Maya and Richard’s story has been one of the respites we have from our own realities. So let us just enjoy, chill out and relax…

As for the future episodes, I’m still waiting on how SC will find his way to make it up to Maya. Since he seemed to have forgotten about the occasion and I can’t wait on the comments/scolding of Raffi and Manang Fe to SC. Also on what SC will do to make it up to Maya. Also with the teaser they provided after the episode, I believe that Maya might change her tactics on confronting SC. It is just my opinion, since this series is very different than any other series that ABS-CBN produce.

I agree. Maya really appeared silly – as always pointed out by Ser Chief. Pero siguro it’s what makes her Maya and thus, loved by many. I’m giving her time to adjust to her first relationship pero dapat soon magiging mas mature na siya especially na Ser Chief doesn’t fall in the Babe category anymore. Apparently, Maya is still a love-struck girl and I can’t wait for the day when she becomes an endearing woman.
I’m tolerating Chieko for now. We’ll see if it integrates after a week.

Absolutely, I love Maya’s bubbly personality but silly is quite different. Maya is very sensible & so value oriented, that’s why SC loves her.

They really should do something about the chieko thing. It is really cringe inducing. I know it’s Maya’s first time to fall in love but I think all girls want to call their boyfriends something really sweet and not that. Maya has to act her age naman sana and considering yung boyfriend niya is an executive and flight attendant siya. Bigyan naman sana si maya ng konting refinement and not to be an embarrassment to sir chief. Frankly they were better nung hindi pa sila. Now nawawala yung kilig sa mga actions ni maya pero kahit pa, I can tolerate that pero when that chieko thing happened, it just totally ruined it and killed the kilig along with it.
My sentiments exactly! This Chieko episode really turns me off. The show is so good, I’m concerned this tarnishes it. Just saying.

A.] It appears that you guys had a very “meaty” discussion about the ill-picked TOE of Ser Chief and Maya “Chieko” .
I’ve said this before and I will say it again and again until they remove this TOE, it won’t fly and worse, it can and is slowly becoming a turn-off for viewers. Even on twitter I see people cringing every time Maya says “Chieko”
So, please, dear writers as an early Christmas present…get rid of this “Chieko” TOE. S-E-R-I-O-U-S-L-Y
b.] Weeksary my butt! Sorry for the term but, what has gotten into Maya?! We get the point that this is her first relationship at the tender age of 25 yrs old…but what’s up with the weeksary? OMG! I was cringing all throughout the teaser on youtube! She can act innocent, cute and all that, we get it. BUT there’s a thin line between acting cutesy vs. irritating I honestly feel for Ser Chief….how far can he go in tolerating these things from Maya? I hope he tells her that this should be the last time they’re celebrating a “weeksary” and instead suggest to celebrate it quarterly or annually. Even my 12 yr old niece is embarrassed watching her act this way!
3.] On IWantTV comments re: Mrs. Melody Yap — oh you’d be surprised dear, not only are people blaming her on that site but more so on FB groups! You should get to read those immature comments from SOME of the so called “fans” . They simply in a way, despise the idea of Richard being associated with his WIFE! Imagine that?! How immature can one get? I tell you, I got so tired of reading foul comments towards Mrs. Yap that I removed myself from the groups. They are just too inconsiderate to a point that they would even say
“Melody should know her place! Her husband is working and we don’t need to see her in the picture. NAKAKAWALANG GANA”
What’s ironic is, the picture was non-work related! Talk about indiscriminate posting I hope these people realize, Richard Yap has all the right to family time because HE IS a family man. Richard said it himself that if he’s no longer happy and if his family’s affected, HE WILL RESIGN FROM SHOWBIZ. Now, we wouldn’t want to be deprived of a gorgeous sight that is Richard Yap, right? So, respect the wife, respect their family and HINAY HINAY sa comments.
Well and truly, Chico is cringeworthy. Period. And Maya is bordering on being shallow once again.
Time to put her into the strong, intelligent but innocent vibe again, dear writers. I know she is excited pero pwedeng kalma ng konti sa pagka sweet. I assume that they are trying to highlight the age gap issue for the next conflict of the story. But the saccharine sweetness isnt working for me. Gusto ko pa rin yung Maya na bibo.
As for Mrs. Yap. Sir Chief isnt Richard Yap and Richard Yap isnt Sir Chief. I reckon if we see the totality of RY’s true person, most of us will be disillusioned (yes, I mean that) and only Mrs. Yap will love him as much as she already does. Puts us in our place right.
Love the healthy exchange of constructive criticisms about the TOE & weeksary episode. All we want is to keep the consistent quality of the show.
At this point, I appreciate the Niknik situation and DorBel’s new love of Victor TV character. That was a relief from Chieko.

Kuya Joma and hair…. hmmm… baka hindi na makapag-trabaho ang dorbel at bantayan nalang siya! LOL
Hahaha panay offer ng tubig at kape kay Joma… hinding-hindi na maghahanap ng thermos si Joma kapag pinahaba niya yung curly hair niya.
Do you think Maya’s “over-enthusiasm” will become a point of conflict between the couple? I mean Ser Chief can only put up with so much. He’s a middle-age man after all. Baka ito yung magiging first real LQ nila?
Pwede pero sa personality ni SC dyan sa series, he will try to reason out muna siguro with Maya like yung conversation nila about the need to have a TOE citing he’s already a middle aged man with children and being cute is not his style.
Which brings me to the kare-kare conversation, he’s really direct to the point and calls it as it is, noh? so i think when the time comes, he’ll have his own sweet way to convince Maya not to go overboard. She’s 25 already, she should know better not to make a plaything out of her relationship with SC. hahaha.
I can actually relate with SC’s reactions to Maya. Being alternately cute, coy and over-enthusiastic paminsan-minsan is healthy, but please, not all the time. i hope the writers will gradually transform Maya’s character into acting more her age and status now.
I guess so. Despite his temperament, Ser Chief is as calm as a cucumber when it comes to Maya.
I hope the show, through our collective insights, will be reminded that it’s the subtle kilig scenes that bring up the ratings.

Sana magkaroon din ng Maya Dela Rosa Version 2.0. Hihihihi. Not to turn her into an entire different person… Well, marami na syang pinagdaanan since pumunta syang Manila. Nagyaya, naging intern, trainee at ngayon FA na sya. I believe her character deserves some refinements here and there. Parang she appeared smarter before kaysa ngayon.
The girl is in love, alright, and her head is up in cloud nine maybe she couldn’t think her age so I’m giving her just this week and my fingers are crossed that by the coming weeks, hindi na sya ganun.
Sabi nga ng writers, kalma lang tayo. Ang mga hiling natin ay matutupad din, one at a time. Hihihihi.
mga kapwa subscribers hinay hinay lang baka pag pumik-up ang story eh sana magawa nyo pa rin ang mag comment ng maganda hindi yung reserve lang lagi sa panlalait.
Gosh, pare-pareho pala talaga tayo ng iniisip.. I HATE CHIECO!!!
But let’s give the writers the benefit of the doubt na may kapupuntahang magandang twist ang karumal-dumal, hehehehe, na TOE yan.. remember sinabi ni SC in one of the episodes something like he finds it hard to take seriously what Maya’s saying everytime she says Chieco.. oh well..
For some reason, di ako excited to watch BCWMH lately like I did before na halos bilangin ko ang oras ng tulog ko. maybe because, we’ve gone past the stage na in denial sila sa feelings nila.. so medyo bawas na sa kilig.I hope they could bring back the kilig pero susme, wag naman weeksary.. anak ng!!!!
And sana nga, baguhin na nila ang pagiging bata ng acting ni Maya.. yes, she can still be sweet and childlike, but please, sana makuha naman ng character nya ang finesse na character ni Rafi.. medyo cheesy and kilig ang reactions, pero dalaga ang dating.. oh well.. again.. it’s the writers’ prerogative..
Kaya nga forever tumatak sa akin ang character ni Maya nung nagkagalit sila nung New Year’s.. mas gusto ko yun.. strong yet soft.
Maybe that’s why most of us enjoy reading EB, kase if you will notice, hindi ‘bata’ ang asal ni Maya in most of the stories dun, she’s mature and intelligent woman. sa dami naman ng pinagdaanang hirap ni Maya, parang hindi akma ang kanyang pananalita.
Haaayy.. pero dahil addik tayo, hehehe, singhutin na lang natin ang lahat ng ito

Good vibes lang! Undeniable pa rin ang chemistry nila RY at JSM.
I think it is fair to expect a heart to heart talk between Maya and Ser Chief about all these ChieKo and Weeksary thingies. Baka nga ito ang maging first conflict nila before pa nila masabi ang status nila sa mga bata.

Nasaksihan ng buong bayan ang love story ni Maya at ni Ser Chief sa Be Careful with my Heart at ngayong opisyal nang magkarelasyon ang dalawa, tuloy-tuloy ang kanilang pagpapakilig sa buong bayan.
At ngayon ngang bukas na sa pagsasabi ng “I love you” ang dalawa sa isa’t isa, masaya din si Jodi sa kinapuntahan ng relasyon ni Maya at ni Ser Chief. Aniya, “Well ako honestly happy ako for Maya and Sir Chief siyempre lumevel up na sila ‘di ba? I’m sure gustong-gusto yun ni Maya kasi matagal niya nang inaasam yun. Ayun saka nakakatuwa kasi yun din naman ang gusto ng mga manonood natin ‘di ba? Yun din ang inaabangan nila so kung ano man yung gusto nila yun yung ibibigay natin sa kanila.”
Kahit si Richard ay natutuwa na ngayon ay may katuwang na rin si Ser Chief sa buhay. Nagbahagi din siya ng ilan sa mga aabangan ng sambayanan sa love story nila ni Maya, “Siyempre kung sa next level na kung merong ‘I love you’ meron ding tampuhan, merong LQ-LQ so to spice things up so expect more of those things.” Dagdag din ni Jodi, “Siguro kung ano ang normal na nae-experience ng dalawang taong nasa relasyon hindi din naman nalalayo doon yung mangyayari kay Maya at Ser Chief siyempre ‘di ba?”
At isa pa rin sa pinag-uusapan ng buong bayan ay ang pagtawag ni Maya kay Ser Chief ng “Chi-ko” na shortcut ng “Chief Ko.” At maging dito ay naaaliw na ibinahagi ni Jodi ang kanyang opinyon tungkol kay Maya. “Alam mo hindi ko alam e kasi si Maya maraming gustong mangyari sa buhay niya. Gusto niya ‘Buko’ para daw ‘buhay ko.’ Meron siya ‘Be-ko’ para ‘baby ko’ meron siyang ‘Chiko’ kasi ‘Chief ko’ tapos meron din siyang Babe pero ewan ko tignan natin. Siguro para kay Maya kung saan mas magiging kumportable si Ser Chief yun ang gagawin niya.”
Ani Richard, “Nade-develop pa lang yang tawagan na yan, pag-uusapan pa namin yan.” Kaya naman sa tanong na kung para sa kanya mismo, ano ang nais niyang itawag sa kanya, nangingiting sagot ni Richard, “So far wala pa.” Hanggang sa nagkatuksuhan na ang dalawa at nagkabiruan sa kung ano ang dapat na itawag ni Maya kay Ser Chief. Kumento ni Jodi, “Baka naman gusto mo Dad, Papa? Ang tanda naman ni Ser Chief.” At ang agad na dugtong ni Richard, “Tapos ang tawag ko sa kanya ‘anak,’” hanggang sa sabay na ang dalawang nagtawanan na kitang-kita ang chemistry at pagiging kumportable sa isa’t isa, on and off screen.
At sa lahat ng mga tumatangkilik at sumusuporta sa kanilang tambalan, isa lamang ang nais nilang malaman, kung sa kasalan din ba mapupunta ang relasyon ni Ser Chief at ni Maya. Ayon kay Jodi, “Depende sa takbo ng istorya, depende. Yun ang dapat nilang abangan.” At sa tanong na kung pangarap ba ni Maya na makasal, “I think hindi lang si Maya, siguro lahat naman ng mga babae yun ng dream di ba?”
Isa rin sa mga inaabangan ng sambayanan ang napapabalitang paggawa ng movie version ng serye, ngunit maging ang dalawa ay ayaw magbigay ng detalye tungkol dito. Kaya naman ang muling nangingiting sagot ni Jodi, “Hindi pa namin alam. We don’t want to spill the beans.”
it is getting to boring, then don’t even watch it…..Masyado kayo maarte…

FLASHBACK MEMORIES 
Today’s episode brought us all back to the ground from the euphoria of past episodes with lighter and more feel good moments as two people in love continue to blossom and enjoying each other’s company as the relationship progresses. We see them warming up to one another, one notch up from the travails of courtship. While we may all clamor for those intimate “kilig” moments, let us pose for a while and remind ourselves that like in any relationship, there are stages that these two need to go through. Let the awkwardness melt away and let’s be contented for a while with whatever kilig moments the writers have in store for us. “Kalma lang”, as Maya would utter…
Looks like we are seeing role reversals here for a change – Richard, the love struck boyfriend and Maya, the more sensible and mature one. Here, we see Richard warming up and starting to be playful with Maya in their conversations and him being more demonstrative of his feelings as he stared lovingly reminiscing his early encounters with Maya and his family, unknowingly oblivious to Abby’s call. Of course, Richard like any person in love would want to be with his beloved any chance he gets, enjoying more time with his girlfriend. On the other hand, Maya, understanding the reality that theirs is not your typical relationship confined between two lovers, acknowledged the fact that the kids need to be factored in as well. What better way to do that than spending quality time with them and showering them with simple gestures of love and care. Subtle ways that she’s well aware of what she’s getting into and her readiness for the challenges ahead.
Disaster averted! Here’s the reality check that we should never second guess the younger generation… kids these days are getting more intuitive and smarter and it’s really up to us how to utilize that in sending our messages across. In the same way, Maya and Richard can capitalize on that as they prepare the kids for the forthcoming revelation about their relationship. We are now seeing Abby growing up beautifully… even with that child’s innocence, she displayed her wisdom in the confines of her and her Ate Maya’s bedtime story, on her take on what she already knew by heart. And young as she may be, conveyed in a subtle way her seal of approval to both her Mahal na Princesa and Mahal na Hari. That special bond between Maya and Abby will play a vital role that they can later rely on… Abby may very well be their ultimate bridge to Luke and Nikki’s coming to terms with the relationship. After all, Abby’s been the glue that binds the family. On the other hand, it would be interesting how Nikki’s reaction would be as she continued to be sensitive and observant in her surroundings. It wouldn’t be a surprise if she catches and picks up those unguarded moments that her Dad and Ate Maya will make along the way. But then again, we never really can tell, Nikki may just be a complete revelation in the end. Her growing fondness and special connection with her Ate Maya during those instances when she needed that mother figure she longed for may just do the trick. So, let’s wait and see which way she will take…
