Nadatnan ni Luke si Nikki na umiiyak at mukhang yamot sa room nya.
Luke: Niks tigilan na natin itong pagresist natin kay Ate Maya at Dad. Niks alam mo bang nandun si Ate Maya sa school kasama siyang naghatid kay Abby hindi lang siya nagpakita sa atin kasi nandun tayo.Kung nakita mo lang sana kung gaano kasaya si Abby nun si Ate Maya ang sumundo sa kanya. All I’m saying is kahit anong gawin natin Niks parte na si Ate Maya ng family natin importante tayo sa kanya at importante rin siya sa family natin Niks, you know she makes everyone’s happy specially Dad. Hindi mo ba nahalata Niks kahit hindi pinapakita sa atin ni Dad naging malungkot siya starting nun dinner natin with Ate Maya dahil sa atin yun.
Nikki: Kuya! stop it na nga! spare me your sermon! If your gonna turn your back on me, go ahead tutal I’m the kontrabida naman di ba?
Luke: Niks wag ganun. Huwag mo ng pahirapan sila, paano na si Abby?
Nikki: Eh ako, hindi ba ako nahihirapan!!! Look at the whole picture Kuya! si Dad… si Ate Maya open your eyes Kuya.
Luke: What’s wrong with that?!
Nikki: Si Ate Maya ang dating yaya ni Abby! There I said it!
Luke: Niks your unbelievable!! Hindi tama yun minamaliit mo yun ibang tao!
Nikki: I’m just being realistic Kuya! I mean what will other people say?!
Luke: Well, hindi importante sa akin kung anong sasabihin ng ibang tao!
Nikki: Of course it is!
Luke: well sa akin hindi! hindi kay Abby, hindi importante kung anong trabaho ng isang tao, kung ano estado niya sa buhay o kung anong hitsura niya. Niks ang importante yun ugali yun ang tingnan mo! Tama si Dad mahal tayo ni Ate Maya and more importantly mahal na mahal niya si Dad!
Nikki: Kuya stop it na! you don’t have to repeat it, I get it na! I thought you are my kakampi, no pala!
Luke: Niks makinig ka kasi

Dad and Maya’s relationship?
Nikki: You knew about them?

Nikki: Nothing… Tita Rafi I just call another time na lang.
Rafi: Niks wait, tell me why are you against their relationship?
Nikki: Tita Rafi, I.. I don’t want to talk about it now.
Rafi: Ok, I respect that, but Nikki I just hope kung anuman yun rason mo sana it will not be shallow dahil dati lang siya yaya ni Abby you better than that Nikki, I know Richard and Alex did not bring you up to look down on other people.
From the conversation with Raffi, baka naman hindi yun ang tunay na dahilan ni Nikki. Ang mga sinabi ni Raffi kay Nikki! Voice of the adiks talaga.
Sobra galaiti ni Nikki, galing ni Luke, sobrang mature ng mag isip.Sana naman matauhan na si Nikki at tuluyan ng matanggap ang relationship ng Dad niya at ni Maya. Rafi talk some sense into her. Hope it is effective.
At her age (14?), understandable naman yung reaction ni Nikki, being the impressionistic young lady that she is, na talagang nagma-matter sa kanila kung ano ang sasabihin ng ibang tao. Kaya gusto ko yung sinabi ni Rafi na she was raised by her parents to be better than that (na shallow ang judgment sa ibang tao).
Kailangan yata talagang may daanang life-changing situation itong si Nikki at si Maya ang aalalay sa kanya para todo nang matatanggap nya si Maya.
BAIT ni Kuya Luke, teaching Abby her homework naman after pangaralan si Nikki.
Nakaka-disappoint naman si Nikki kung pagiging yaya nga ni Maya ang reason nya sa inaasal nya. Naiiyak na ko nag-uusap si SC at Luke.

A MOTHER’S LOVE
We all came into existence into this world through our mother. Without her, most of us would never be. Her commitment to carry us in her bosom, until she delivered us out of it, continues to this day. Initially, she makes sure that we are given the proper nourishment, given tender care, guided the right path, rendered aid when necessary, protected from all harm and supported as long as she is able. Presently, she continues to stand aside and remains ready to provide all these and at a moment’s notice, will come running to our rescue, if that is what is required. Whether we call her Nanay, Mama or Mommy is dictated by the status in life in which we are born into. Our lifestyle, be it privileged or not, is not the measure of the love she gives to us. Her love comes from a deep well that never runs dry. Even when we declare ourselves fully grown and independent, our mother remains our biggest ally and our loudest cheerleader. That special bond, that started when we were merely babies, remains remarkably strong even to our adulthood. Nothing can sever it, not even death. In this episode, we bear witness to the type of relationship that the characters, of our beloved drama, have with their mothers.
Dona Esmeralda, I am happy to declare, is not the foreboding cloud that I previously feared would threaten to de-stabilize Richard and Maya’s budding love affair. My speculations about her are totally way off and I am so excited that she has proven me completely wrong. I am only too delighted to put that prognostication to rest. She actually might just help pave the way for Nikki to openly accept Maya as her Dad’s girlfriend.
Dona Esmeralda remains to be Richard’s biggest champion. From afar, she provides her son her quiet support and loving presence. She has raised her son to be free and independent, confident and strong, intelligent and wise. These are the very qualities that create a driven entrepreneur with shrewd business acumen and a benevolent heart for his subordinates. Dona Esmeralda has indeed triumphed in her parenting if Richard is the measure of her success. He, after all, epitomizes the quintessential ideal man. Stubbornly proud and born with an independent streak, she allows Richard to try his wings even if it meant that he starts from the bottom up. To her credit, she employs a trusted Manang Fe to look after her son in her stead. She watches from afar as he raises a young family with his young bride, builds a company from scratch and provides him comfort when he finds himself widowed at an early age. She is quick to offer the vacant ancestral home for him to relocate the family to when he finds his children’s safety compromised after a recent burglary. Aware that his son is highly driven to succeed, hence, he forgets to take care of himself, she gently reminds him through their periodic phone calls, that he seriously should start looking for someone special who will take care of his needs. With Dona Esmeralda for a mother, Richard is assured that his back is taken care of.

At yun na nga sa teaser! I have a feeling na isang talk lang with Maya ang kailangan at makakatulong kay Niks. Looking good at sweet ang mag jowa sa Lim Aviation ah.
Whatever happened to LiZa? Na-fired ba talaga dahil sa napurnadong kiss nung tumawag sya? Siguro by next weekend pa na magiging happy ang buong Lim family.
phone call away.Alex is the love of Richard’s life. She is his first intense romantic relationship with any woman. With her, Richard found fulfillment and true love. Their union produced three beautiful children in Luke, Nikki and Abby. We can only deduce from the people who knew her the type of person that she was before her untimely demise. According to her husband, her children, her friend Rafi, her employees Doris, Sabel and Joma, she must have been a beautiful person with a kind heart, a sweet disposition, a loving mother, a doting wife, an intelligent and savvy business partner. In short, she was a character above reproach. Nikki witnessed and experienced what love is from her mother. Presently, she terribly misses her. Especially now that her Dad is introducing someone who she feels will usurp her mother’s role, she feels highly resentful. With everyone in favor of Maya to be her Dad’s girlfriend, she feels totally isolated. She finds herself suffocated, alienated and misunderstood. She badly needs to feel her mother’s love.
Unbeknownst to Nikki, Maya is ready to shower her with the love she currently needs. Maya’s may not provide the motherly love that she longs to have, but that love will be as close to one. Unbeknownst to her, Maya will not even attempt to substitute Alex. Unbeknownst to her, Maya is ready to be the friend she urgently needs in this most difficult time in her life. Nikki only needs to give Maya a chance to prove this to her. When that time comes, that Maya used to be Abby’s nanny will never even be an issue anymore. It will only be remembered as a temporary convenient excuse which everyone will only be too happy to forget.
Am starting not to like Nikki more and more! She’s starting na to be rebelde and worse, manipulative! hay, SC mag-usap nga kayo!
Sabi ko na magrerebelde siya e…masyado daw kasing easy ‘pag bigla na lang umokay siya kay Maya. Mukhang mga isang linggo pa tong rebelde-arc ni Nikki. Luke had his rebellious stage din naman. So it’s Nikki’s turn (?). Si Abby kaya?
Huwag na kayo mastress ke Nikki this series does not really have a true blue contrabida its more of internal conflict that will resolve eventually Janella is just doing a very good job.
The Dilemma
Richard’s stuck between a rock and a hard place and it’s taking a toll on him. While he had to cope with Nikki’s outright dislike for Maya, finding out that Donya Esmeralda inadvertently knew about the relationship, bring forth another impediment into the complications in his life. Not only did he need to balance himself in his dealing with Nikki while constantly reassuring Maya that everything is going to be ok and that their love’s worth fighting for, but Donya Esmeralda knowing about his relationship might just had pushed him to the wall and brought him back to that memory when he had to turn his back on his family for love. And that just put him in a position where his option was something he had been holding back all along, to lash it out on Nikki trying to understand her reason for her dislike of Maya as his girlfriend. And finding out the very reason for her disapproval only escalated his frustration and disappointment over Nikki. Although he did try to make her understand by putting her in Maya’s shoes, Nikki’s stubbornness and refusal to see reason all the more made the situation worse. He had been so upset, but Maya’s call though short, calmed him down for the time being. But deep down he knew he will have a bigger dilemma to deal with. He knew no matter what, he will be able to iron things out with Nikki, he will be able to make her understand the whole situation and he knew deep down, she will come around eventually. What worries him all the more would be Maya and her selfless nature. He knew she loved him so deeply but then again she also loved Nikki and that thought worries him that Maya might just be in a position to walk away from him if only to appease Nikki, sacrificing her love for him, sacrificing their relationship in the end. She almost had done it before, she can very well do it this time around. His line, “Will you stay?”, when he asked Maya should Nikki not accept their situation is like a ticking time bomb in his crushed state of mind/heart. Maya had been his strength all this time that the thought of her sacrificing herself and their relationship may just be too much for him for how will he be able to cope this time around when the very person he drew strength from may be walking away from him. Richard’s demeanor changed a bit when he got the reassurance from Maya that they will stick it out… at least for now.
Lifting from Friday’s insight (Sense and Sensibility), Nikki maybe LOST at this point, but in no way is she a LOST CAUSE. Nikki is just going through a tough situation, and it’s understandably painful and confusing for her age. While she sincerely wanted her Dad to be happy, even tolerant in his dating activities before, but the confirmation of his Dad moving on with his life by having a new girlfriend had been a shock, way before she knew the girlfriend’s identity. For this only meant that her Dad is finally letting go of her Mom’s memory. Knowing her Dad has a girlfriend, resentment had kicked in already, but knowing that it was her Ate Maya, was a double-edged sword that hit her and it might just felt threatening to the memory of her mom, an intrusion to the family unit. The only way for her to get out of her dilemma, is to not to view her Ate Maya as a replacement to her Mom, simply because she won’t be (now), nor will she ever be. It won’t be fair to her mom nor will it be fair to her Ate Maya. For it is never fair to get caught up in a trap of constantly comparing them or making them a nemesis of one another when one is living and the other is not. Nikki just needed to understand that Alex will always be her mom no matter what, and no matter who else comes into her Dad’s life or their family’s life, that will never ever change.
And then there’s, Maya. Her overflowing positive outlook kept her thru all adversities in her life and she would come out almost always victorious. For so long as she has her family to draw strength from, she can hurdle anything and everything. Her current predicament with Nikki’s disapproval of her relationship with Richard is getting a major toll on her as well. While she displayed herself as very supportive to Richard, sticking it out with him, loving and caring for him, but finding out Nikki’s disappearance might just bring her defenses down. Richard drew so much strength from her, and aside from that she had to carry the entire burden of holding the relationship together for the two of them as Richard is at his weakest and most vulnerable and thereby unable to carry the load. But her selfless nature may just a liability to her now that she is confronted between her love for Richard and her concern for Nikki and the father-daughter relationship… For now she too is at a crossroad… will there be a price she will have to take? Or will she be able to come out still victorious? Time will only tell… For now, we wait…
Ba’t ganoon yung reaction ni SC sa preview? Akala ko ba ok si Donya Esmeralda kay Maya for him? Or he’s just pissed off kasi pinangunahan siya ni Nikki sa pagsabi?

Bet ko mahahanap nila si Nikki sa puntod ni Alex.Si Alex na lang ang pwede nyang pag sumbungan.
But what I would like to see is the kids of SC defending Maya against those who would dare to look down on her!!!
Sa Fathers’ Day episode tiyak duon magkakasundo si Nikki and SC!I-claim na yan by July 1 ayos na ang lahat!

Baka sabihin sa kanya ni Donya Esmeralda na “magaling, magaling Ricardo at sinunod mo ang utos ko! Nagtatampo lang ako ba’t di mo sinabi sa akin!” at “ayusin mo ang gusot niyo ni Nikki or else lagot ka sa akin!”
Ano kaya judgement n Donya Esmeralda about her son having maya as a girlfriend. Alam natin na natuwa si donya Esmi kay Maya as the yaya but what about as her son‘s girlfriend? Shallow like nikki? Sana matanggap niya since I feel na mabait naman ito. Sana…
Sana okay lang kay Donya Esmeralda matanda na kaya ang anak nya, alam na nya ang ginagawa nya…
Masyadong gasgas na ang pagmamata sa kapwa di naman talaga maganda ang ginawa nya. Mali yun kelangan sa kanya di lang sermon eh Try living with poor people for awhile, you will know that their struggles are difficult despite of that, it gives them fuel to dream more sobrang mature talaga ni Luke, bilib na ako sa kanya.

Kurot sa Puso Moments
1. Sir Chief and Nikki’s conversation at the principal’s office (It’s not Maya’s fault that she’s born not as privileged as you…)
2. Sir Chief and Maya’s conversation at the office (Will you stay? This is such a heartbreaking line. He seemed so helpless that he’s just going with the flow of what may come… it’s like everything he’s fighting for will be gone… will be taken away from him.)
Tama lang sermunan si Nikki, talaga namang stubborn sya, ayaw nya makinig sa sinasabi ng nakakatanda na mas well meaning sa kanya. Sorry, I know normal ang ganyan sa edad na yan, pero it’s still unreasonable at least kina Kute, very supportive ang pamilya at sina Lino at BuGoy sa kanya. Hay naku, wag na nya bigyan pa ng problema ang pamilya nya, baka nga sa libingan ni Alex siya pumunta,Sana doon nga.
In real life………………ilan kaya porsyento dito sa Pilipinas has the same reason as Nikki???
My nanay was a maid when she met my father…granted hindi niya amo ang tatay ko, hindi talaga siya madaling natanggap nung mga anak sa unang asawa.. except the bunso. Hindi siya maid ng tatay ko ha.. pero ganon na. What more si Maya e nagsilbi siya sa mga Lims as yaya ni Abby. Medyo judgmental talaga ang lipunan. Minsan yung iba na nagsasabi na ayos lang.. e lip service lang talaga. I actually like na they tapped into this, kasi maraming telenovelas, dramas na in passing lang ang paglalagay ng mga conflicts sa mga cinderella-theme dramas. Siguro, next talaga niyan is Abby hearing parents of her classmates gossiping about Maya. Tapos kay Richard naman sa social gatherings naman. Kapit-bisig lang sila dapat.
Sa palagay ko, mageend to with a cliffhanger.. kung end na talaga e movie ha. May anime ako na napanood na ganon e. Cliffhanger .. para maraming manood ng movie.
Awwww. Sad. It turns out na discriminating pala si Nikki, and I thought that they’re brought up not to look down on people.
She’s the odd one kung ganun. I wonder saan galing yan. Was it influenced by her peers, environment, or dahil sa nanunuod sya nga prime time telenovela?
I guessed, she also discriminates and look down sa mga kasama nila sa bahay like Manang Fe, Dorbel, Kuya Joma.
and the emotion that really got my attention was Sir Chief’s when he asked Maya what if Nikki would really stick to her guns and refuse to accept their relationship and most importantly Maya… will Maya stay or go??? His face was just so sad, worried and anticipating (all at the same time) on what Maya’s answer would be…
He draws his strength from Maya… if she decides to go, how will he cope? What will he be like this time around, if he’s left broken-hearted again…
He knows that Maya is selfless when it comes to the people she loves… she may love him with all her heart, but he knows that Maya also loves Nikki; and if breaking things off with Sir Chief would make Nikki less miserable, then Sir Chief would have to accept it, no matter how painful…That’s why he asked the question, “Will you stay?”…
Although Maya reassured him that she will be there with him all the way, Maya’s conversation with Nanay Teresita seems to hint that Maya may not be as steadfast as she was with Sir Chief (no matter how much she loves him)…
Question is: Do their relationship really need to head that way just to appease Nikki?
P.S. On the bright side, yay! Nanalo Heat… Weeeeh! I was rooting for them to prove that last year’s championship was not a fluke.

Nikki’s ultimate reason is just but natural and I don’t hate her for that. Kaya lang dapat alam nya kung kelan dapat mag-give up. I’m sure double whammy yung naramdaman nya when she talked to Rafi right after kausapin sya ni Luke. Kasi I’m sure parehas ng ugali si Rafi at si Alex. That they don’t find anything wrong with the relationship.

Probably influenced by her environment and/or peers. I don’t think she looks down on kasambahays in general. I think lol. I just think she has an issue with her dad dating one. May mga ganon kasing tao din.. yung tipong hindi naman matapobre, and they treat their household help like family.. pero ‘pag direct or it hits close to home like the person might become a step-parent na sa kanila.. parang nagiiba *** pananaw nila. Regardless of Luke’s effort to make things right, Nikki remains closed off. Just like Maya mentioned, Nikki is young. Seems like Nikki is on the other end of the spectrum. If Richard and Luke are the perfect examples of selfless and unconditional love, Nikki is the opposite and this is what Richard is finding out now. Nikki completely went over Richard’s head when she called her grandma as an attempt to gain someone to side with her. She totally over stepped her boundaries as a daughter.
It’s every parent’s goal to raise a child who has a good heart, has a strong core, and has a good head on his/her shoulders. What Richard discovered about Nikki, was so heart breaking to hear as a parent. He had thought that he’s been a good father for his children. He sees it with Luke and Abby, but somehow there’s a disconnect with Nikki. What happened to that special girl Richard was dancing with at the prom? Richard never thought that one of his daughters would be so consumed with being superficial and only cares about the material things the world has to offer. Nikki is letting what she has defined her as a person. Richard chose the right term to describe what they have, “privileges”, which means it could be taken away at any moment. Where did Richard go wrong? It almost seems like he was blindsided. Nikki appeared to be growing up as fine young lady and believed to be following on her mother’s footsteps. When Nikki accepted Maya as part of the family and even initiated to address her as “ate”, Richard thought that, yes, he can trust that his children will do the right thing. He had no idea that his middle child is only capable of giving the kind of love that is conditional.
Nikki mentioned, “replacement” which could be the key word. No one can ever replace Alex as a mother to those three children and as wife to Richard. Usually, when someone replaces something that person looks for the similar thing, if not close to what the original was. I want to give Nikki the benefit of the doubt. Maybe, this whole thing has nothing to do with Maya being for a former nanny. It goes dipper than that. Nikki is looking for a replacement…a mirror image of Alex, her mother. As she ran to her mother’s grave, she might’ve had this idea or hoped that she can re-live what she had shared with Alex. This is something Richard needs to make Nikki understand. Maya is not Alex, but she needs to open her heart to her so that Maya can give her that motherly love she’s been longing for.

I hope the writers won’t complicate much of her character that it will be too awkward na when it comes to reconciliation.
If extreme na kase, it would be tough to make a storyline that’s realistic with just a snap of a finger. Takes longer time to build a relationship (that means matagal pa etong saga ni Nikki) unless they make a tragic scene that would make Nikki have a change of heart.
Ay! Ilipat na lang sa primetime ang BCWMH para they can inject this drama.

I’m glad, it’s not as bad as I thought it would be. Donya Esmeralda’s answer to Nikki’s question is exactly the opposite of what I have anticipated. She is not the other twist that I was expecting.
I’ve watch this episode 2x already as I still wanted to understand where is she coming from. Nikki’s reply to her Dad’s explanation is a big surprise, she did not get the point or she just bluntly refuse to accept it. She is totally at lost and misguided with her own establish norm. But I put myself in her own shoes and I kind of understand her even if her reason is soooo not acceptable. She’s young and her fear of social redicule got the better of her. I so petty her now because she felt like an outcast. I hope Nicolo will share with Nikki what he had experienced with Aira’s Dad. Maybe Nicolo can be an Angel to Nikki too and show her the right path of life.
I love the way Daddy Singkit explained to her daughter. I totally agree with you SC, it’s not Maya’s fault to be born poor. But she had big dreams and she worked hard to make her dreams a reality. It is so admirable of her to accept the job of a Nanny that you offered her that time because as of that time that is the only solution that was available to her. The positive thing that this episode brings is that Nikki is starting to open to what is really bothering her. The first solution to every problem is open communication. Now that SC knows Nikki’s main concern, I hope na pahabain pa niya ang pasensya niya and open up to her. Let Nikki see and feel what he felt, let her know that in Love everyone is equal and that Maya can never replace Alex in his heart. Let her know that their Mum will stay in his heart forever and will occupy a very special compartment in his heart. What he have with Maya now is that he is simply opening another compartment because he is still alive and he has a special needs that only Maya could fill. I like this!!! yung tipong Nikki will see herself mirrored on the actions of strangers and she’ll see the effect it will have on Maya and SC. At makonsensiya siya, will realise she is at fault and will end up defending Maya.
Or else, she will realise what if it were a different woman, sophisticated and rich, who will be SC’s girlfriend but who will end up ignoring them or worse, will even vie for their dad’s attention to the point that their dad will no longer have time for them.

Baka sa movie? I mean, wow to the max to have Maya’s father walk her down the aisle.
But – and there’s always a but – I can see a few issues with Mang Turing’s reappearance:
– Mamang’s reaction. Siyempre, her daughter was left alone with two kids to support. It will probably take till halfway through the movie before she relents. (Maybe some old flame will reappear and, er, provide welcome distraction for her?)
– Kute’s reaction. I think she might be a while overcoming her resentment of having an absent father, especially since she and Maya were the family breadwinners. But she will relent – she has to, because the wedding scene will hopefully be the crowning glory of the movie, and we can’t have Angry!Kute at the wedding!
– Nanay Tere’s reaction. Even if she’s been cherishing the hope in her heart that Mang Turing will come back, I have a feeling that the actual return of the comeback will be a golpe de gulat for that dear lady. Can we talk major adjustment of mindsets here? But love conquers all, especially one as faithful as hers.
Wow, mabuti naman nasabi na ni Nikki kay SC ang reason kung bakit ayaw nya kay Maya para sa Dad nya. Her reasoning is too shallow why she disapproves SC and Maya’s relationship dahil former nanny lang si Maya. SC tried to be calmed and collected to explain kay Nikki na di kasalanan ni Maya na mahirap sya na pinanganak di katulad nya na privileged. Maganda na sinabi ni SC that both him and Alex had a dream and kung ano man ang tinatamasa nila ngayun eh dahil sa dream na pinagsumikapan nila na maabot. Ang magandang lesson dito eh ang tagumpay ng tao naka depende sa pagpupursige at trabaho na maabot ang kanyang mga pangarap. Tulad ni Maya di man sya lumaki na mayaman but nagpursige sya para makatapos at maabot pangarap nya. That she is trying to make something out of herself na mapabuti ang situation nya sa buhay.
Nang sumagot si Nikki na “but i am not in her place” it’s very disappointing talaga kasi hindi pa din nya nakuha yung point ni SC. Syempre dala na din ito ng pagiging immature nya. Maiintindihan lang ni Nikki yung sinabi ng Dad nya na what would she feel if she falls in love with a rich guy and didn’t get the acceptance pag malaman nya yung nangyari kai Niccolo at sa Dad ni Aira. Masasaktan sya para kay Niccolo and that would make her change her mind.
Si Donya Esmeralda naman eh mukang OK naman sa kanya and she trusts SC’s decision. Mabuti at inamin din ni SC na sure sya kay Maya. My hats off naman kay Maya for still caring for Nikki kahit na she’s being mistreated by her. Sya ang dahilan kung bakit din napapakalma si SC pagdating kay Nikki.
– Maya’s reaction. Given that by this time she is secure in Richard’s love? She’ll welcome the man with open arms and sit him down for a long catch-up. I think.
Just some thoughts. Is Manang Fe’s great love missing also, or has he passed away? I kinda missed that part of the Pambangsang Kiligserye.

In truth only (sa totoo lang – oh, di ba), buwisit na buwisit ako kay Nikki simula pa nung Monday. Pero medyo naawa naman ako sa kanya kahapon. She obviously felt so alone.
Dahil nabagabag ang damdamin ko, ginamit ko ang seldom used brain ko sa pag-intindi kay Nikki. At 14, natural lang na matindi ang peer pressure sa kanya. Natatakot siya sa kung ano ang sasabihin ng mga friends niya pag nalaman nila na ang girlfriend ng Daddy niya ay ang dating yaya ng sister niya. Tingnan mo, hindi siya nagko-confide sa mga best friends niya na sila Megan and Stacey sa kung ano ang pinagdadaanan niya sa ngayon. Sabi ng seldom used brain ko, hindi ko pwedeng ipilit na mag-isip si Nikki ng katulad ng pag-iisip nating mga above 21 (yan, para safe ) na. Kaya ngayon, GV na uli ako. Hintay-hintay na lang kung papano i-re-resolve ng mga writers ang conflict na ito. Sana huwag namang masyadong melodramatic.
Kaya nga siguro hindi siya maka-confide sa friends nya kasi baka nahihiya na ipaalam na si Maya ang GF ng Dad nya. Tapos napagalitan pa ni SC. Sad talaga. Feeling non end of the world na sa kanya.Hopefully someone can really reach out sa kanya. Fact yun and wherever they go kahit na FA na sya, yun pa rin ang sasabihin about her. Hirap talaga ng peer pressure tapos bullying pa. Kaya nga choose your friends well and surround yourself with positive people.
Buti na lang light drama ito kung hindi, kung saan na makakarating ang story ni Nikki.
True. Kahit ano pa ang maabot ni Maya, hindi mababago ang katotohanan na Maya was Abby’s yaya once upon a time. So, it’s either Nikki accepts the totality of Maya or not at all. Certainly, matatanggap niya in due time. Kung papano mangyayari yun, yun ang dapat i-handle ng writers very delicately. Hindi pwedeng masyadong madali at mabilis. Hindi magiging realistic. On the other hand, hindi rin pwedeng masyadong matagal dahil magwawala ang mga adik. I’m excited to find out what BCWMH’s writers have got up their sleeves on this one.

Lately nag spike yung ratings ng BCWMH kung may Heat-Spurs finals game. I remember at one time it went up itong week lang to 27%.
Di pa na release ng Kantar media yung kahapon (Friday) and I’m hoping sana tumaas pa boosted by that Game 7 NBA finals.
Pero since school started the ratings base sa Kantar bumaba talaga na to 22%-23% from the usual 25%-26% and even at one time went down to 19% (parang New Year rating) pero 1st day of school for manyksi eh . Pero ganun din naman halos lahat sa daytime including yung kay Ryzza except for the bday celebration.
Pero sa AGB Neilsen, its up, up and up for ryzza mae.
I am keeping my fingers crossed na Be Careful will rate no lower than 25%.

I dont think they need to end the series especially that many people are enjoying it. If stretching the story is their problem, they can do something about it naman. Why dont they explore other plots like yun sa LAS -an event where SC can introduce Maya, event naman sa Time Airways where SC will be her date, tapos yun pag-evolve ni Maya into a sophisticated lady… countless ways at di naman choosy ang adiks. We are contented with simple kilig moments. Just make the couple realistic. Let them act as a couple, even without resorting to spg and even liplock moments. Wag naman lagi lang hatid/ sundo, kain sa condo, kape, and the most they can do is to hug kasi siyempre di naman ganun lang ang couple di ba. Tapos maraming plots pa na pwede ipasok basta goodvibes and with lots of moral values. Kasi that’s what we loved about the show.
Im happy and excited with the movie and sana after the movie continuation pa rin ng tv series. The writers are very talented and they never disappoint me pa naman.
Also lets take care of our beloved show kasi the competition are thinking of ways to of course remove it on air kaya we should give our all out support.

Yung ratings kasi except for that 19%, dipped slightly from 25%-26% to 22% to 23% when school started na. Resilient naman ang bcwmh diba?
After the movie, I still would like bcwmh to continue as a weekly series , every Saturday night sana. Pwede naman. We need a weekly dose of Be Careful. Lalo na dito sa Pilipinas! This show makes us see, feel the goodness of people in the characters of the show. Para naman mahawa ang marami at ma-inspire rin to be and do good in our daily lives.
I have so much faith din sa writers. Although minsan parang may lapses or inconsistencies, forgiven naman for me. I also miss the kilig moments nung hindi pa sila. Pero I was thinking Ser chief is 45, Maya is 26 ano klaseng kilig suited for them lalo na kay SC? subtle lang siguro, as long as realistic.

I feel bad for maya, I understand Nikki. Fallin inlove and finding a perfect partner is not as easy as 1 2 3. Maya situation is not easy, she fall inlove to the Man who has a 3 children and the memories of his ex wife. She never been married , nor no boyfriend since birth! Madali lang kasi na e judge and GF/2nd wife kung ano ang real intention ng isang babae/lalaki, but once na naranasan mo or ikaw yung nasa situation it is really hard, specially kung alam mong nakakaapekto ka sa mga anak nya, their relationship. Pero wala kang magagawa kundi unawain mo ang situation and you need to give up your dreams to have your own family for a while, because you need to consider your partner situation.
Hindi madali na magkaron ka ng kahati sa attention ng lalaking iyong pinakamamahal lalo na kung gusto mong bumuo ng pangarap kasama siya, darating ang time when you get married dun mo marerealized yung diffirence ng Single / Divorce, and No kids/with kids as a partner.

Because only her, regardless of how chaotic everything around them gets, Maya makes everything sound so simple. Even she, herself sometimes is unsure. She doesn’t make any promises to Richard that things will be perfect, but somehow, just like the song You Center Me by Robin Thicke, Maya centers Richard.
Nikki is now seeing the implication of her sudden outburst of selfishness and ignorance. Her father’s disappointment is something she cannot take. Hearing how disappointed her father is to her pierced her heart. Richard is Nikki’s first love; the first man who ever held her hand. The man she will never stop to look up to. Ever since the beginning, Nikki’s always seeking for her father’s approval Just like Luke, she needed to dig deep, but Nikki had to dig deeper. Nikki didn’t skip school to defy Richard nor to make matters worse. She went to a place where she knows she can find comfort and where she can clear her head…at her mother’s. Nikki is not perfect. She still has a lot to learn. Her moves and intentions are sometimes questionable, but one thing for sure is she has so much love for her family. Seeing his daughter break down, Richard knew he needed to put his hurt and disappointment aside. Nikki needs her father…her hero. He’s always armed with the words of wisdom for his children. Life is not about being perfect. The road will be bumpy at times and wrong turns will be made. And “do overs” are not always available as an option. Life is about realizing when and if you make mistakes that you recover and learn from them. Accountability is the key. As Richard embraced his first princess, he looked at Alex. He knew, she’s looking down from heaven and continues to guide her daughter.
Each time Richard spends time at his lonely corner of the house, he doesn’t need to say anything. Watching him standing there, he pulls you in and make you feel all his hurt, his uncertainties and his struggles. Nikki finally had an epiphany. Now that her eyes are open, she saw how her dad is suffering and yet continues to fight for his love. Time to make your dad proud of you again, Nikki Grace Lim!
When push comes to shove, Richard knows his children will come through. While looking at his children, after all the ups and downs he and his kids have been through, he must be doing something right. No doubt, Luke, Nikki and Abby are extremely lucky that Richard is the Dad, chosen for them….

SC: Look Nikki, it’s not Maya’s fault that she was not born as privileged as you are. When your Mom and I fell in love we both had nothing.Yes, your grandparents were wealthy but that their money not mine, what Alex and I had were dreams and we worked hard for those dreams binuo namin yun. Love and Forgiveness
The parable of the Prodigal Son is a story about the youngest son coming to his father to ask for his inheritance ahead of time. He then took the inheritance and went on his merry way. It wasn’t long until the money was all spent, and he was reduced to working in a pigpen where the pigs were eating better than he. The young son had reached the end of his rope and went back home, where he was accepted with open arms by his father.
Nikki, as the prodigal daughter strayed away from her parents teaching, and succumbed to outside influence. The worst nightmare of many parents is to have a child ignore everything they have been taught. Her behavior was highly insulting to her dad, thus the disappointment that SC felt when she went behind his back to “make sumbong” to her Lola and when she outright told him that she did not like Maya for him because she used to be Abby’s yaya.
The scene at the cemetery, is like the son and the father reuniting in the parable of the Prodigal Son…a perfect example of unconditional love and forgiveness. SC could only feel love for his daughter who has been perplexed, and emotionally distant from him since the revelation of his relationship with Maya. Sometimes it’s difficult to know when to show your child tenderness and when to give them tough love, but there at the cemetery was the perfect time and place where tender love won over the heart of Nikki.
As a parent, we may have encountered a rebellious and prodigal child, but like Nikki we love and forgive them inspite of how they behave. Forgiveness means sometimes overlooking the flaws of our children, and restoring a bond of love. It does not mean justifying the offensive action or accepting it as right, but we lay aside our judgment and accept and love our children for who they are. As SC said…”they are my life.”
Nanay Teresita, everytime I see you, I miss my mother. You have so much love in your heart. No wonder Maya, has so much love to give.

Simon was In on It!
In San Nicolas, Simon arrives all excited about picking up Cho with Kute and then taking them out to eat and then to drive around etc etc. Kute knew what he was trying to do so she calls Nanay T and Mamang to ask them if they haven’t had a chance to update Simon yet? Nanay T and Mamang had no choice but to tell Simon, they were wrong in assuming Kute and Cho are sad over Jeff leaving. Ha ha But Kute told Simon that since he offered, she said they could go pick up Cho and for him to take them to the computer shop so they could Skype with Jeff. Nanay T and Mamang overheard it and they insisted they want to come as well. “Kapit-bisig” is really alive in San Nicolas. Simon, the ever faithful and loving friend, joining in and when Jeff’s name was mentioned, they all missed him so much that the entire gang had to go. (Jeff is a lucky guy, even though he is married now and has a boyfriend all at the same time, the family he left behind in San Nicolas is still eager to see and hear from him.)
Niknik Skipped School
Luke is worried about Nikki and confided to his best buddy Nicolo. He said that it has been days and she still feels the same way. Nicolo told Luke not to worry. Eventually she will get over it and things will turn out ok. Besides, he knew how Luke and his Dad were before, worst than Nikki’s situation, but they worked things out. So Nicolo told Luke to get hold of Nikki so they could take her to the arcade while Nicolo gets hold of the rest of the gang to come with them. To Luke’s surprise, he couldn’t get hold of Nikki. Nicolo told him to call Stacey to ask. Luke did and he was even more surpised to learn that Nikki did not attend school. This set him and Nicolo into a little panic. Luke calls up Manang Fe. Manang Fe asks Joma, Manang Fe asks Abby. Someone calls up Richard (I think it is Luke). He became worried. Maya calls up Manang Fe to get the scoop. She relays the message to Richard when Richard suddenly realized he knew where Nikki is. He hurried off to try his luck at finding Nikki at Alex’s Mausoleum. Maya calls up Nanay T to tell her what happened. She needed to talk to someone because she is feeling bad. She asked Nanay T if all this is her fault? Nanay T told her not to think that way because it isn’t bad to love someone. She asked if they found Nikki yet, Maya said no. Nanay T told Maya to hang in there.
After si Abby and Luke, si Nikki na lang kasi di ko iniiyakan, kaya kailangan iyakan ko din

So while inexcusable yung inaakto niya.Wala talagang mas better na papalit sa original na parent minsan. She doesn’t mind being labeled as matapobre pa or that she’s all alone sa corner. Para sa kanya dapat kung may hahalili sa mom niya. Kalevel ni Alex. Childish pa talaga. Siyempre walang tatalo sa nanay niya so tingin niya yan sa lahat ng candidates for 2nd mom. Noone can replace her mom. Tingin ko din.kahit hindi pa si Maya yan. Kahit rich pa.May drama din yan si Nikki. May mahahanap lagi siyang pintas. Yung kay Maya nga lang. Nagkataon na humble beginnings nung huli. Sana magkaayos na sila tom. Feeling ko drought tayo these days e.
At saka si Nikki mana lang sa Dad niya remember yun summit he doesn’t admit na may gusto na siya kay Maya and he even hurt her when he felt jealous at hirap na hirap siya sabihin yun “sorry” kahit na alam na niya na mali siya. I’m sure ganyan din si Nikki eventually matatanggap niya rin si Maya and she will be the most sweetest among the 3, just like her Dad.
Usually mas rewarding yung mga mahirap na makuha. And I’m sure Nikki if not closer .Then at par with Abby’s sweetness. Baked goods everyday for Maya. Iba na pag bumabawi e.

Back to serious analysis, Not that I’m complaining mga kapamilya, what is the reason of Nikki’s sudden turn around medyo di ko na-gets? Yesterday, she just seemed to be so stubborn that even SC had almost give up on her. Maybe in silence her Mom consoled and talked to her daughter? Or maybe, she realized how lonely it was on top of the pedestal where she would like to stay, or maybe she was really scared that she’ll lost her Daddy’s love altogether?
Whatever the reason is, I’m so glad how Nikki’s journey ended. It’s so ironic, I cried a lot yet I’m soooo very happy, it feels like I’m Maya. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s episode. Iiyak kaya uli tayo tomorrow? Kita kits tayo bukas!

Oh, Nikki, Nikki, Nikki…You poor sweet child, nakakainis na ang attitude mo! Sana naman makipagayos ka sa daddy mo, paano yan, mas gusto na maging malungkot siya habang buhay para sundan mo lang ang luho mo?
The office scene where Maya brings SC lunch…alam mo, mirror yun sa isang insidente sa buhay namin ng mister ko, bagong bf lang kami noon, mga two months ata. Pumunta ako sa opisina niya for lunch, hala, ang init ng ulo niya, halos kinagat ang secretary niya sa galit. E, yun pala, nag-away sila ng mama niya; naging collateral damage ang mga tauhan niya, pati ako! Yung lunch natin, mga 15 minutes na di niya ako kausap habang nag-settle down. Bumawi na lang siya noon last 15 minutes. Haay, naku. Flashback na flashback ako sa eksenang yun.
Pero, in fairness? Nagpadala ng bulaklak sa secretary niya, by way of apology. Kasi umamin siya na totally out of place na pagalitan niya. Buti na lang.
–Luke & Abby : Sweet nila dalawa hindi talaga nila pinaramdam kay Nikki na nag iisa sya. They know na hindi rin sila matitiis ni Nikki hehe Abby is the sweetest! Hindi nakatulog ng maayos at ang Doris bagsak lang? pagod na pagod haha
–Nikki : Sarap ng breakfast nya! Sermon agad haha. As usual close minded talaga siya. Hindi nagpapatalo parang yun tatay din nya ahaha. Nun sinabi ni Richard yun sa kanila ni Alex kung saan sila nagsimula akala ko matatauhan na si Nikki nun pero hindi pa pala tsk! Mas lalo pa sya nagmatigas… kaya I can’t blame Richard for acting like that kasi sobra yun pasensya nya eh…sabi nga nila may hangganan din minsan kaya ayun sumabog.
Sana lang wag isip ni Maya na kasalanan nya yun nangyayare kay Nikki ngayon. Hindi naman nya ginusto na hindi sya gustuhin ni bagets.
Medyo pang dramarama sa hapon ang peg ng mga episode ngayon linggo. I look forward sa masinsinan usapan ni Richard – Maya at Nikki. Sana kasama si Maya dun sa pag punta sa puntod. Hindi pa napapakilala ni SC si Maya kay Alex na ngayon sila na. I hope may closure na for Father’s Day!

.Dissapointed ako kay Nikki kasi the fact that she already met Maya’s Family ganoon pa din yung reason niya. So G-R-R-R! Kasi maiintindihan ko pa kung hindi pa niya na me-meet sila Mamang, NT, Kute, at Cho pero ano yun parang pinalalabas na yung pagiging mabuti niya sa Family ni Maya, PLASTICAN lang?
Nakulangan ako sa reaction ni Lisa, but then it was nice to see Lisa again. Mas maganda sana kung may solo shot si Lisa na kinilig para kay Maya at SC.
Gusto ko yung reaction ni Donya Esmeralda, malaki na si SC alam na niya yung ginagawa nito. Hindi na dapat controlin. Hindi katulad ng ibang telenovela na 45 years old na pinakikialaman pa rin lovelife. Good job Donya Esmeralda.
In fairness kay RY nung nagfired up sa galit kay Nikki sa principal’s office! Galing na nya umarte. Nadala ko eh. Katakot! Well delivered ang lines, real ang facial expressions, ang boses tamang tama. Whew!

For me, Nikki isn’t close-minded. It is just she finds it difficult to accept Maya to be their possible step-mom. Imagine from being a nanny of Abby … Maya is to be promoted as their step-mom to be.
Actually, I find this confrontation, between SC and Nikki, with class and breeding. Hindi yung ordinary na sigawan, sampalan, sagutan ng masasamang salita, etc. etc.
Every child has the right to feel what Nikki had felt towards Maya. Hindi madali ang basta tanggapin na out of the bloom once a nanny now the step-mom to be.
I am not matapobre or anything … but Nikki’s reaction is very reasonable.
If I am in the shoes of Nikki … I might do and say the same thing towards Maya … baka nga mas malala pa ang mga bibitiwan kong salita. You know “social-climber”, “fake”, “User”, etc. etc. Kasi tingan ninyo naman, Maya gets everyone’s affection and trust (even Nikki’s trust) kaso with Nikki, she feels that Maya betrayed her trust this time because all the while in Nikki’s mind “kakaibiganin mo kaming lahat … for what … to get my dad and our approval? Well, you’re wrong Ate Maya. You’ll see.”

but I guess… Nikki’s reaction…maybe common to people with that status (but not all though) as I know a lot of rich people who aren’t that haughty)…. but I don’t find it reasonable…
It is purely an immature reasoning…that needs to be corrected, if she is to be what the story portrays her to be… well bred and intelligent..
but if she behaves otherwise.(where is this coming from then..) .then.. I’d rather that they let the story end as I don’t want my children to believe that what she is doing is just ok and that it’s acceptable….
Remember… this show is being watched by children even younger than 5 years old..

Re sc & nikki convo. For a 14 year old I think sc’s explanation is not acceptable to her. Meron pang peer pressure factor. Siguro dapat sc emphasized on what maya has become from her humble beginnings. And that it was him who turned maya to a nanny upon abby’ s request. That incident in the airport where maya rescued abby should be retold to nikki to make her realize that maya is a very caring person. Willing to put her life on the line. Isa pa yung chaperone incident baka kelangan ipa reminisce k nikki. Nikki is not a child and not an adult yet. Kaya yung explanation sana very clear for her age to comprehend.

It’s alright to make a mistake as long as we acknowledge it and ask forgiveness, after all nobody is perfect. True friendship is showing support and acting on it, as shown by Nicolo towards Nikki’s disappearance . A parent’s unconditional love for his child and never ending emotional support.
A child’s love for her parent, asking forgiveness for breaking his heart. A mother’s maternal instinct to sense when her child has a problem and always offering solace.
One thing that stands out in this episode is Maya and Ser Chief’s love for each other. Maya always putting Ser Chief’s best interest before hers, (his relationship with his children). Ser Chief’s happiness solely dependent on Maya. The two of them living apart will make them so miserable, like an empty shell.
There’s an overflowing of LOVE in this show, and we all need it to make our day brighter.
I can also watch it on iPhone. So with TFC.tv I’m all set.
I hope ABS CBN extend the show much much longer. Kasi it’s going to take months for Ser Chief’s marriage proposal, Maya’s accepting his proposal, wedding preparation, actual wedding, honeymoon, planning for children, Maya’s pregnancy and delivery, Nikki’s debut, Abby’s debut, Luke’s wedding, etc.
It will practically take another year.

Hi, I completely agree with you, but more in the context of the kid being too protective of her real parents. Yung mga SC-Maya fans na naiinis kay Nikki may not completely understand that the girl is going through a formative process, and it is not easy. Plus the fact na parang na-violate yung trust, that is really a valid point. The conversation between Nikki-SC, I’d say, is reflective of Nikki’s real character, and madami sa atin na ganun, yung ang nagagalit kapag pakiramdam natin eh na-violate yung trust na binigay nten wholeheartedly. Still, si Nikki pa din favorite ko sa series na to. Naawa ako sa kanya nung umiiyak sya.
In fairness kay RY nung nagfired up sa galit kay Nikki sa principal’s office! Galing na nya umarte. Nadala ko eh. Katakot! Well delivered ang lines, real ang facial expressions, ang boses tamang tama. Whew!

Nikki’s issue
After today’s episode, it seemed na mahirap i-contest ang reason ni nikki, we may say we understand her, sabi nga ni maya, bata pa sya… but on the other hand, her reason for not liking maya is really disappointing, even after mag-explain ni SC, it seemed case closed ang issue for nikki, wala naman na kc magagawa to undo Maya being abby’s former nanny even if she’s now an FA…
Since wala naman backstory si Alex or her family (or am i just not aware?) and it was mentioned before na hindi agad natanggap ng family ni SC si Alex noon. i just thought of this:
– Alex (just like Maya) also came from a not so well-to-do family, that she’s a working-student or a scholar of the Lims… that she also succeeded with just her pure determination and perseverance…
With this line of thought…. siguro if nikki will know that her mom also came from a humble beginnings, it would be easier for her to like maya….

My thoughts on today’s epi:
1.Dissapointed ako kay Nikki kasi the fact that she already met Maya’s Family ganoon pa din yung reason niya. So G-R-R-R! Kasi maiintindihan ko pa kung hindi pa niya na me-meet sila Mamang, NT, Kute at Cho pero ano yun parang pinalalabas na yung pagiging mabuti niya sa Family ni Maya, PLASTICAN lang?
2. Nakulangan ako sa reaction ni Lisa, but then it was nice to see Lisa again. Mas maganda sana kung may solo shot si Lisa na kinilig para kay Maya at SC.
3. Gusto ko yung reaction ni Donya Esmeralda, malaki na si SC alam na niya yung ginagawa nito. Hindi na dapat controlin. Hindi katulad ng ibang telenovela na 45 years old na pinakikialaman pa rin lovelife. Good job Donya Esmeralda.

Wow. Lilly lilly ove this forum so much. It’s like we are having a potluck each day, but instead of food, we bring something of ourselves to the table by sharing different insights . And my “dish” to tonite’s potluck are a few quotes from a great philisopher that I believe sums up today’s episode.

And Nikki did just that! She simply changed her attitude. I try to live by these quotes each day. I can choose to be miserable and grumpy or I can be optimistic and happy just like Maya. It is all about attitude. Coincidentally, BCWMH has caused me to change for the better. It has so many “feel good vibes” that one can’t help but channel that positive outlook in life as well.
I share all your jubilation with Ser Chief’s “loosening up” by doing the dance revo. Luv Nikki’s laughter as well. Maya looks radiant in her top but I share MaTH’s sentiments regarding the dorky purse too. So out of place. Sobrang laki na wala namang laman….ha ha ha….sowi. my other persona of negativity is coming out again. And to think i just talked about changing one’s attitude above. I said I TRY. Obviously I don’t try hard enough…..ha ha ha

When we say one step at a time, we mean slowly and carefully, doing just a little at a time… taking it slow. A seed grows into a tree from a simple tiny seed becoming a seedling, growing stems, leaves and then flowers blossoming to bear fruits in the end, before the cycle begins again. Or, a baby needing to learn how to crawl before he can walk; needing to walk, before he can sprint, then run… As in life, we often want to fix everything at once, but everything takes a process of time. We don’t need to take a giant leap to the finish line. We just have to take the next step. When we take life one step at a time and don’t rush anything, everything will fall into its rightful place! Indeed, a journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.
Reconciliation is in no way different – for rebuilding the relationship that once were, takes time. But it only takes that one important step to get started. And Nikki took that important first step… with her recent realization; she opened her heart – again… for Ate Maya. She’s giving her that chance she deserves. And what better way to do it, than inviting her to the mall as part of the plan to treat their Dad for an early Father’s Day celebration. What fitting way to show her appreciation for her Dad by making him happy! She’s doing her best, one step at a time. Then came the next one at the arcade… With awkwardness looming around, she put some distance only to be reverted back slightly, with Kuya Luke’s prodding of taking over his place to play side by side Ate Maya. And then it happened, that next crucial step… slowly she warmed up and they both warmed up and soon the awkwardness started to melt away, for the goal had been simple – to come out victorious in the game/s they were playing. And soon after that, so on and so forth… and then, instinctively (it may seem), engulfed in her infectious laughter she reached out and gently tap her Ate Maya’s arms… she’d done it!
Maya’s patience is finally paying off! Getting Manang Fe’s message of Nikki’s invitation to join the family at the mall later in the day, made her the happiest; and sharing the great news to Sir Chief, she was beaming with pure bliss. Much as she wanted to take the plunge, she cautioned herself and took everything in one steady stride. She planned her and Sir Chief’s course of actions for she knew they needed to be prepared just as warriors prepare for battle. She sought Sir Chief’s familiarity of the kids’ choice of games, but came empty handed. Armed with so much enthusiasm and hope, she met with the kids at the arcade, guarded yet anticipating. Nikki’s initial lukewarm reception fueled her own awkward actions, but keeping her pace slow and steady she knew she’d reach her goal. She just need to pick up the pace as she felt more in control. And she did, for slowly Nikki started warming up, slowly and gradually. She was filled with joy and love for Nikki that she watched her with so much pride and joy, she could let loose and just hug her tight, wholeheartedly but she restrained herself… for now. For the time being, sharing a giggle, laughter or so will be enough. She wouldn’t have it any other way.
A Chinese proverb once articulated that to get through the hardest journey one needs take only one step at a time, but one must keep on stepping. Richard’s always been the serious one… reserved, distinguished, highly respected, living up to his CEO post and father to Luke, Nikki and Abby. With Maya’s help, he changed and started warming up to the kids. And yet again, he’s challenged to take a bigger step to bonding more with the kids, from their point of view… from their own perspective. This is something new to him… for he had always been the serious Dad, interacting and connecting with the kids, but from a safe distance, guarded and in control. Maya, with all her child-like ways, was encouraging him to see it thru the eyes of the kids… relaxing, enjoying and simply having fun. With Maya, lovingly cheering and reassuring him, he took the challenge and let loose… the encouragement he got from the kids boosted his confidence all the more and then it just happened, for he started to actually enjoy and had fun dancing. And all it took really… was that one step or shall we say one dance step… at a time.

nang mahismasan naman na ako (pagkatapos ang feeling na bitin, i wasn’t that kilig-much anymore with the first kiss teaser since the brouhaha over this scene was bugbog-sarado na as part of the MNKahan yesterday afternoon), i remember i was so happy sa “bonding” time ng lim family with maya and doris. and this time, the finale song during the bcwmh USA tour at the shrine auditorium reverberated in my ears. i had to look it up at yt but there was none uploaded. however, i found one of the fans came up with a video of this song that showed a number of GV moments in the past episodes of the series. i suppose this fan may have to re-do this video to include some snippets from today’s episode.

He can keep his cool in all types of situations. He never looks at people with prejudiced eyes. He keeps himself away from badmouthing people and making unreasonable allegations. He dislikes gossip.
In this episode, Luke is the epitome of a true gentleman. In the absence of his father, he takes total control of the family’s arcade excursion. Foremost in his mind is to pave the way for Nikki and Maya’s eventual reconciliation. He strategizes how he can casually arrange for the two ladies to play together. He instinctively knows that they have to overcome the awkwardness hanging like a dark cloud over them. With great tact and sensitivity, he deftly maneuvers for the two of them to end up playing the same game. Initial discomfort registers from both but that quickly dissipates as they start to focus their attention to the game at hand. Towards the end of the game, the uneasiness between them has immensely decreased. By the time Sir Chief joins the family, Nikki and Maya seem to be in total surrender to the joy of the moment. Luke knows that he succeeded in presenting to them the chance for a good starting point. He did his best; he is happy with the result.
Richard showcases that he is the consummate gentleman, as well. Although he looks visibly uncomfortable at the task apparently required of him to please his children, Richard reluctantly steps up unto the Dance Revo platform. To his chagrin, his audience seems to be enjoying his attempt at dancing. However, midway through the music, he quickly disembarks thinking that to keep going is tantamount to subjecting himself to further humiliation. As a result, he sees Nikki currently overcome with uncontrollable fits of giggles and laughter as she watches him uncharacteristically degrade himself in public. Then he notices that in her momentary hysterical state, she unconsciously touches Maya, taps her on the arm and completely forgets that just a few days ago, she could barely stand to be in the same dining table as the latter. Consequently, Richard quickly swallows his pride, gets back unto this ridiculous machine, even if it costs him to temporarily lose his self-respect. He makes up his mind that he will do anything to see peace and harmony restored back within the family. If dancing on this absurd electronic game is what it takes for Nikki to start mending fences with Maya, and losing his dignity is the price to pay, then so be it.
Maya is indeed fortunate to have, not one, but two gentlemen right by her side. With both Richard and Luke to champion the ideals of a chivalrous man, she will be hard pressed to find better company than these two. Likewise, Nikki is blessed to be raised in a household where gallantry is upheld.

The things that Sir Chief will do to please his family… kahit outside of his comfort zone, he’ll do it (even in front of the public!), albeit reluctantly… i wonder what his employees (like Lisa, Sonny, Sabel, Joma and even Manang Fe) and friends’ (Rafi & Ryan) reaction would be kung they only were there to witness it?
As for the KISS, anung angle kaya ang ipakita??? Baka nga from Sir Chief’s back of the head view ang angle for that kiss… Hay naku, ha? Unfair na ‘yan lalo na sa mga fanAddicts (never mind Maya at siya ‘yong nakaharap!)… di bale… for me, my imagination was already running wild since last night… in my head, e much, much more pa than just dampi sa labi ni Maya ang paghalik ni Sir Chief sa kanya… in my imagination, this is how they would kiss… their lips will fit and seal together… with Maya’s lower lip between Sir Chief’s lips whilst Sir Chief’s upper lip between Maya’s lips naman… with a subtle bite from Sir Chief then freeze-frame for… say, errr… 30 seconds… then vice versa the lip-locking position…freeze-frame for another… say…30 seconds uli… a very gentle, yet satisfying caress for lovers…
Oh, shocks…!!! I’m a romantic (not the hopeless type, happy to say…), what else is there to say and do when it comes to Maya and Sir Chief’s first proper, romantic kiss…
P.S. Maya can also update na the slam book info: “Who is your first kiss?”… kung si Sir Chief ang magko-correct ng info, he will write, “Richard a.k.a. Sir Chief”… kung si Maya naman ang magsulat ng update niya, it should be: “si Sir Chief ko!” 🙂

Nikki and Ser Chief Moment
Yes, undoubtedly the highlight of the episode.
Believe me when I say that I literally jumped off my seat when Nikki said that she will try to get along with her Ate Maya. Why? Because FINALLY, I think we can close this chapter in the BCWMH story. It’s about time, don’t you think?
Nikki going to the cemetery to see her mom’s tomb, came as no surprise.We were all kinda thinking it. We knew that there will be a heart to heart talk that comes after. But what I didn’t expect was how well the two actors — Richard Yap and Janella Salvador– delivered the lines. They really looked like father and daughter in that scene.
Also noteworthy are the lines that each of them said…
“Mommmy, are you disappointed with me rin?”
“Dad, Im so selfish. I know what I did was wrong. I know I was unfair kay Ate Maya. But sometimes, I just can’t help it Dad”
” Everything I do, Everything I say, lahat na lang mali”
” I did want you to be happy and it breaks my heart to disappoint you”— Nikki
— Clearly, this kid is just in need of approval from everyone.This is very understandable for her age.She’s a mommy’s girl through and through. She knows his dad and mom wouldn’t want her to grow up belittling people.Baby steps Nikki…baby steps.

(oooh how I love that he called her “baby”. It made Nikki realize that she is still after all her dad’s baby)

–Aaaawww….will anyone object if I say that this scene just proves that Ser Chief is one hella Daddy? I think with how things are going, more than Maya, it is in fact Ser Chief who’s living and breathing the theme “Kapit-bisig”.
Added to this is the fact that he didn’t force the issue on Nikki getting along with Maya right away.Instead, he encourages Nikki to get to know Maya on her own and perhaps appreciate her more.

Sylvia Sanchez plays her role like a pro. She really captures the needed emotion whenever she has a scene. I felt as worried as her when Maya called about Nikki. Good job!
—Dorbel crying scene with Abby
I have said this over and over, Abby is such a darling! I so wanna bring her home. But Dorbel was such a delight to watch. The way they fussed over Abby just to make sure she’s kept pre-occupied.
The kids hatch a plan to ask permission to go to the mall. Richard was hesitant at first but with Abby’s little angel voice begging its their advanced Father’s Day treat to him. So in spite of his busy schedule, he had no choice but to say yes to glowing kids. 😀 Later, when Manang Fe was helping Abby get ready, Abby was talking to Maya telling her their plans asking her to come. At this point, Nikki peeked into Abby’s room and overheard her conversation. Maya, of course, was very hesitant and told Abby maybe not this time. “Why?” Abby asked. Maya tells Abby that on Father’s Day, he needs to celebrate it with his kids. “But you are Daddy’s girlfriend. Doesn’t a girlfriend always go with her boyfriend?” Abby asked. Sensing Maya giving excuses, Manang Fe urges Maya to come while Nikki closes the door and leaves. Maya asked Abby to speak to Manang Fe. She explained to Manang Fe her hesitation because she felt it might be too soon for Nikki to be around her. Manang Fe asked Maya if Richard has not told her that they already talked. Maya acknowledged he did tell her but she is still worried that it might be too soon. So Manang Fe did not force the issue.
Meanwhile, in Nikki’s room she has had a few minutes to think things through. She heard Abby and Manang Fe come out of Abby’s room. She peeked out to the hallway and asked Manang Fe to please tell Maya that if she wants to come, it’s ok. This made Manang Fe and Abby glow. 😀 (Good job Nikki even if you still looked a little tentative, I am proud of you taking the first step to reconciliation.)Manang Fe immediately sends the message to Maya regarding Nikki’s invitation. Maya was trying to make sure Manang Fe did not misunderstand Nikki to make sure she was really inviting her. Manang Fe said Nikki would be delighted if Maya would come. Maya glowed. 😀
Downstairs, Richard seemed impatient, hands on hips (ummmm hips…aaaahhh hips…teka nasaan na ba ako…ay sorry ;/) and asked Maya why it took her a long time? Maya apologized and told Richard that is because she and Manang Fe were texting each other. She happily and excitedly told Richard Manang Fe told her she spoke to Nikki and Nikki said its ok if Maya goes to the mall with them this afternoon…Maya half jumping, arms waving with huge smile on her face. Richard’s annoyance seemed to go away. His face lit up this time seemingly sharing Maya’s joy. (E sino ba naman ang hindi maaaliw kung ang ganda ganda ng mga ngiti ni Maya at talagang excited pa.) “Really?” he asked. Maya told Richard that she knows things will not go back to how it used to be instantly but the fact that Nikki actually invited her to come is a first step. To Maya it is a big deal. Then she asked Richard if he knew what arcade games do the kids like to play? Richard said he doesn’t know. Maya tells him, they (meaning her and him) need to know all that. Richard was puzzled and asked Maya if she plans on playing with them? Maya said “Yes, but not just me but you and me.” Richard looks lovingly at Maya’s beautifully made up happy face. He walks toward her and put his hand on her chin and whispers…”You know you glow when you are happy?” (WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!) Maya shyly replies…”Ser Chief naman e, you’re changing the topic…” Maya glows 😀 😀 😀

Oh…sorry, I almost forgot about the leads.Well, not much to say about them in today’s episode. Their interactions were very minimal and less significant than the rest.
I’m slowly learning how not to anticipate any major sweetness from Ser Chief towards Maya.Like what I said in my last post, I think Ser Chief is really not the touchy feely kind of BF. The phone coversation was…bland except for the “hang on, okay” part which was a manifestation of Ser Chief’s Kapit-bisig version.

I was pleasantly surprised that they injected that scene in today’s episode. Lyda Magtalas is very much like Maya Dela Rosa while Miggy Montenegro is so much the younger version of Richard Lim. This movie also raked in big bucks because of their “Cinderalla story”. They also had no major kissing scenes…yet they were able to tickle the audience’s fancy by implying that there was a kissing scene.
Now,given the relative likeness of the characters Ser Chief-Maya & Laida-Miggy, does this mean that Ser Chief and Maya’s first kissing scene will also be an “implied” one?
It’s interesting to note that the part of the movie they showed was when Laida was breaking up with Miggy saying
” Kahit kelan, hindi ako napagod mahalin ka. Ngayon lang!” and then Ser Chief was shown looking at his kids. Was that a sign of things to come in the lovestory of Ser Chief & Maya?
Then again, I might just be reading too much on the scenes today. So, nuff said.
Wow, you said it all! Galing mo sis! Just can’t help but add, did RY act the way he did as Papa Chen in BG?? And another thing, I don’t think the Miggy-Laida break-up was a premonition of things to come since we see SC always trying to hold on to Maya and Nanay Tere always telling Maya to hold on. I think they are stressing the Kapit Bisig theme and Kapag May Tiyaga may Nilaga lesson here.
Agree ako classmate! Ilang linggo na ganito ang takbo ng show. Wala na masyadong kaganapan. Hindi na ako nag-uulit ulit pa ng episodes like before at nag-aabang sa teaser every night. Nabawasan na ang ka-adikan in short.
Alam natin na may conflict ngayon sa show pero I guess they can balance it din naman kung gugustuhin. Since malapit na ma-resolve ang issue with Nikki, let’s see if the good ol’ days will be back.

Buti nga may mga forums like this where they could get real time feedback about what the viewers really need. And frankly, it’s those shows which bring kilig or tickle your funny bone which are the top rating. Tingnan niyo na lang ang paghit ng mga koreanovela. Ayaw ng tao ng mga problematic at mabibigat sa damdamin na telenovela, what’s the fun in that? Kaya it’s the light, fuunny and kilig shows which survive more than a year. Yung mga problematic na yan buwan lang ang tinatagal. We are here for entertainment diba? Puera na lang kung masochista tayo do we need stories which are heavy on the heart or nakakastress! Kaya #IbalikangKilig
For writers kasi there has to be a problem for the story to progress pero puede naman compromise na may problema pero di ganun kabigat and madali lang maresolve just like in sitcoms. But I agree though that this Nikki problem had to be hurdled before they could move on kaya lang nagdrag ng sobra-sobra parang pati tayo naburn-out na!
Nung nakita ko *** A Very Special Love.. napaisip ako bigla about the ending of BCWH. Kasi diba sa 3rd movie ni Laida at Miggy nagkahiwalay sila…and so far wala pa namang major tampuhan or awayan between our OTP.. so baka gawing cliffhanger e biglang magInternational Flight si Maya and hindi na sila masyado magkikita o magkakausap ni SC because both are quite busy. Hindi naman katulad ng Domestic Flights pa si Maya.. puede pa siyang pasundan-sundan ni SC.. isurprise from time to time. So baka eto yung magcause ng argument o cool off period… and Laida’s line na “ngeon lang ako napagod magmahal”.
Request ko lang kahit peck/smack basta sa lips… Yun bang tipong playful silang dalawa tapos biglang yayakapin ni SC si Maya sa waist.. and then Maya would put her hands around his shoulders and give him a smack.. tapos while she’s giggling..tulala si SC and then SC would give her a playful peck … kahit yun muna.. saka natorrid after a week.
Di naman nga yan SPG. As in iyan ay normal sa mag-asawa. So pag mag-asawa na sila Maya at SC pwedeng pwede na yan. Siguradong punong puno na naman ang hospital at magkakaubusan ng Oxygen supply!
Mantakin nyo mas nauna pa ang mabibigat na isyu kaysa sa 1st kiss. I trust the writers pero sana ibalik na si Kilig. Dietang dieta na si Maya. Grabe ang 1st kiss nya ka-abang-abang.

SC & Nikki: it was a touching moment for them at the cemetery…i didn’t cry as expected but still it was a heartwarming scene…Nikki recognizing her
mistakes & wanting to change & make peace with Maya…SC telling Nikki that they’ll deal with it together & not forcing Nikki to make amends with Maya right away…Kudos for both RY & Janella! big improvement on their part

It’s great na hindi ginawang drama yong reconciliation ni Maya and Nikki instead naging nonchalant lang kaya very effective and realistic ang story.
Kudos sa mga writers. Agree ako sa observation of some viewers that Maya is really glowing in all scenes. Her complexion is gorgeous, maybe it’s her medyo tannish color ang ganda

I think there’s no other way to handle Nikki’s issue than to do it gradually. I really love what SC said to her sa cemetery ( and for that I’m waiting for Green‘s transcription). Kaya nga naaawa ako sa kanya because she knows she’s wrong but she just can’t help it.
Question: Saan napunta ang maleta ni Maya nung nakauwi na siya sa condo?

I really like that scene. Ang hinhin lang ni Ser Chief sa delivery ng lines niya, si Nikki naman kahit mega emote na siya with matching tears ewan ko ba di ako naiyak pero tuwang-tuwa ako kay Niknik!
Bukas malamang iiyak ako kay Maya and Nikki heart to heart talk.
I love his lines during that scene, full of wisdom… yun lang, kilometric at bordering ang robotic ang delivery ni Ser Chief kaya medyo bawas impact…
Those silent, tender scenes, they were good… actually reminded me of their prom dance.

Well well, so much fun watching the Dance Revo, errrr Ser Chief panalo ka talaga sa Best Daddy in the world, Daddy Pogi, daddy bango daddy kilig. Daddy oh my daddy! Nice to see that you actually moving your feet, pero I think pang Cheek to Cheek dance ka lang,, but it was fun I bet the arcades back in Pinas will be filled with 30+ Daddies and Mommies trying to do the Dance Revo. Hehehehe I know I will be queuing. Or better I can just do it on my Wii.
Okay raise your hands if you want to make Ayra the new target practice dun sa gun game nila Maya and Nikki, qouting Nikk ” Ate Maya targetin mo sa ulo si Ayra para madeadma agad” Maya ” Okay para hindi ka na mabadtrip” hehehe trip ko lang. I had so much fun watching Luke, Maya was not the only one glowing. Luke was over the moon watching Maya and Nikki, he was trully happy, so handsome and definitely JP’s future is going to big the next Piolo Pascual. So natural he’s acting. Going to follow his carreer.
Writers I had so much fun watching today’s episode BUT this is not a nega comment. Maya’s ensemble was almost perfect and almost classy but what is wrong with that bag, why do you let her have that black strap its a NO NO No! or maybe its just me hehehe Come on! Wardrobe department!! Pull yourself together !
Eto pa ( sorry i got this break i am cherishing at the moment so I can see some Bloop Bloop at todays epi.) I swear I love the show but I have my kunot noo moment. Hehehe Di ba Ayra and her friends and NicNic were at the cake/coffee shop, having cakes and coffee, they were just sort of starting malaki pa yung pieces ng cake, then when the tarty friends of Ayra heard that Luke Andrew Lim is at the Arcade they said ” Come on Lets go Meet him” I am pretty sure this mall is not 5 mile long that before they reach the Arcade they need to stop for some more food, And eating again, arrrghhh to much food Hahahahaha, ( okay I admit I was jealous they are having cakes, pizza while I am having some green leaves of something and banana.)

Yes Suki its Wimbledon weeks na,so sad Rafa Nadal was out at first round, but I know he is not going to be good this year sa grass kasi he need to take care of his knees, but he wil be back sa Hard court, hopefully he will be back sa Flushing Meadows. trying my best to be there around last week of August. I just rewatched an episode last night and I felt like the lack of kilig scenes since Ser Chief and Maya became official is something that can be likened to what Nanay Tere was talking about in the scene where Maya went back to San Nicolas after the summit…

~> We have a lot to say about what we think should and should not be done to bring kilig. We felt deprived of the giddy feel we once felt everyday before “Tayo Na”.
Yet, we are undeniably hoping for something, ANYTHING, to happen that will make us shriek “waaaaaaaaaaaaah!” again.
I do hope that this will be the start of the Good Vibes / Kilig factor again.
