Ummm.. dahil sobrang cool ni Luke these past few episodes.. sana naman.. magkalove life na uli sha. Puwede bang si JAM na lang?!! Feeling ko talaga magiging off-the-charts *** chemistry nila.. kasi boy-next-door si Luke while si Jam is.. tomboyish.. may potential na they’ll have the cutest banter scenes if done right. PLEASE!

What is admirable with Nikki is that she realized she was wrong and now she is willing to make that wrong, right. Taking the first step towards reconciliation is indeed the most difficult one. It is actually easier to step back, turn around and walk away. But in all fairness to Nikki Grace Lim, she has the moxie to do what is right!
Interestingly, like Winnie pointed out, you took Nikki’s perspective, whereas, I focused on Luke and Richard’s. Maybe the smoke signals I attempted to send to you early this morning did actually reach you, after all. ha ha ha ha.

I won’t be choosy anymore.We’ve been ranting for days about the lack of kilig, now here it is in the form of a kiss. I remember reading comments before that even if it’s just implied, since this is a noon time show, we’ll be thankful.
Given the current situation, this is enough for me. Thank you to the writers for finally giving this to the fans.
Oh and by the way, I read on twitter that the person in charge of writing the script for Be Careful with My Heart The Movie is Carmi Raymundo. The same person responsible for the script of A Very Special Love trilogy.
If this is the case, maybe we’ll get to see more of the “implied” kissing scenes since that’s how it was for the “wholesome” partnership of John Lloyd and Sarah. No major kissing scenes but still raked in millions.

(It is interesting how Richard is the father but Maya seems to really be more in tuned with the kids as shown here. She instinctively knew what to do with them and is the one giving ideas to Richard as to what he should be doing with them as well. Maya’s point is, sometimes, they need to stoop down to the children’s level so they, the adults, understand better how they live in their world. Something I am sure she has experienced with her own Nanay T and Mamang.)
Back at the mansion, Luke gets a call from Nicolo asking about Nikki. (uuuuyyy Nicnic concerned kay Niknik uuuuyyyyy) Luke said she’s fine now (but Luke needs to blow his nose). Nicolo was pleased. Luke asked Nicolo how is Aira (tse!) ? She seemed to be “bad trip” yesterday. Nicolo said yes but he said he’d make it up to her today. Nicolo asked Luke if he wants to go out with them? Luke said no, that’s their date and besides they are going to the mall. Nicolo said that is cool, maybe they will meet them there.
Richard, at the office was rushing through his scheduled appointments so he could leave to join the kids and Maya at the Mall. Meanwhile, the kids arrive at the mall. Richard sends a message to Nikki about the time he was going to get there. They were outside the arcade when Maya shows up. (Oh my gooseneck…Maya is so pretty in that sheer teal colored top coupled with a simple but elegant looking earrings – a far cry from the pearls that she wore day in and day out…her beautiful face was perfectly made up and she looked sheik and stylish….not to be outdone by any socialite teenager at the mall…Maybe she wanted to impress the fashionista Nikki. She is also donning a cool looking belt peeking out of the short part of her blouse right above the belly button and that perfectly fit skinny jeans…..Wow wow wow…and then that swinging black purse. Haynaku kung hindi lang bigay yan ni Ser Chief e papasok ako sa loob ng computer at pipigtasin ko yang napakahabang shoulder strap na yan. Siguro Maya the reason why that strap is so long is because it is intended to be worn crossbody? Winnie…back to the istori please) Abby spots Maya immediately and runs to her for a hug (as usual the sweet Abby that she is). Nikki was quiet but not suplada…(She was checking out Maya probably thinking not bad for a former Yaya…however I am still waiting for her to glow!) Luke was happy to see Maya and peered at Nikki for her reaction. He mentioned to Nikki that now, they have a lot of students (they are going to school Maya, Abby and Doris in playing video games ha ha lets see what you got Luke). Nikki gathers Abby and Doris in tow to the arcade. Maya stood there still kinda feeling awkward. Luke assures Maya it is all good. Nikki is not quite warm yet but she is at least trying. Maya agrees.
Inside the arcade Luke doles out tokens for everyone and to Doris’ surprise, she too gets coins for playing. Doris glowed :D…Luke teaches Maya a two player shooting game when he calls Nikki to take over. Nikki hesitantly but obliged. Nikki and Maya started playing while the rest cheered them on. Here you will see the teamwork building up between Maya and Nikki towards one goal. They worked together and at one point, Nikki screams that there are too many bad guys to defeat. She tells Maya to get them on the head to kill them off faster. Everyone was rooting for the two and then voilà! They win to everyone’s delight. Nikki is warming up.

We’ve been ranting for days about the lack of kilig, now here it is in the form of a kiss
I remember reading comments before that even if it’s just implied, since this is a noon time show, we’ll be thankful.
Given the current situation, this is enough for me. Thank you to the writers for finally giving this to the fans
Oh and by the way, I read on twitter that the person in charge of writing the script for Be Careful with My Heart The Movie is Carmi Raymundo. The same person responsible for the script of A Very Special Love trilogy
If this is the case, maybe we’ll get to see more of the “implied” kissing scenes since that’s how it was for the “wholesome” partnership of John Lloyd and Sarah. No major kissing scenes but still raked in millions

I just found out that the most anticipated episode in the history of this drama has just been preempted. I can almost hear the disappointment expressed by the multitude of fans, worldwide, as this most recent shocking news spreads like a shock wave. I myself am still in denial. I am still absorbing what it really means. I decided that I still should do what I normally do. Put my thoughts into the written word and post it. So here goes my offering for today.
My goal is to keep our forum alive, exciting, hope-filled and ever supportive of our beloved actors that work hard day in and day out to provide for us the quality entertainment that they have admirably maintained for almost a year now. We do not really know what caused the technical difficulties but it must be serious enough that the network would forestall its scheduled air time. Hopefully, nothing tragic happened. Let us all keep the good vibes flowing………………..
THE PROGRESSION THAT LEADS TO THAT FIRST KISS
I sat down to write down what I can remember of the events that led to this first kiss. Besides the obvious: the auspicious day when the two meet and the inevitable interaction that naturally comes with living under the same roof, I just wanted to focus specifically on when Sir Chief started developing a romantic interest in Maya. So here goes my list.
Sir Chief first hinted he was curious what it would feel like to kiss Maya when he painted her lips with a pen, as a consequence of her losing the card game.
He made another attempt to make a go for it when they were at the bay walk, on their first date. On their way to the car, Maya stumbled. Sir Chief stooped down to help her up. Instead, his hand caressed her face when he moved her hair away from her eyes.
Another time was when he brought Maya back to the condo. In the hallway, in front of the unit she shares with Emman, Sir Chief made the move towards her but Emman walked in on them. That was rather bad timing!
Yet another occasion was when they were at the condo sitting on the sofa, relaxing after dinner. Sir Chief moved in to kiss Maya. And just as their lips were about to meet, his cell phone rang. This time, Lisa interrupted their romantic interlude.
Today was built up to be an historic day. Worldwide fans are all excited to witness the lover’s first kiss. Presently, You tube teasers show Sir Chief drops Maya off at the condo. He opens the car door for her. They say their goodbyes while they lock in a tender embrace right at the front steps of the high rise condo unit. As Maya turns to climb up the stairs to head up to the elevator, Sir Chief calls out to her. She turns right around while he aligns himself to plant a kiss on her warm, alluring, beautiful, attractive, kissable, succulent, irresistible and luscious red lips. The picture freezes just before their lips meet.
And presently, it is still frozen there. That certainly leaves a lot for our fertile imagination to creatively spin however or wherever we want to take it. So I suggest let us start with the MINKahan where we share what we think will happen next. So, who wants to go first?

Sir Chief was caught totally smitten by Maya in that beautiful little black dress that shows off her beautiful body. I can almost hear Sir Chief gasp when he first laid eyes on her as she rounded the corner from the elevator. She did look amazing then. I am sure that even though there were some unfortunate events that interrupted his train of thought, such as Inigo’s attempt to spike Luke’s drink so that the latter would get into trouble with the school administration, Sir Chief still managed to pull himself together to create an intimate and romantic setting between them when he brought Maya back to her front door. Although he has restrained himself all this time because he is aware that he is her first in anything, he got up enough gumption to do a kiss which he feels will not scare her. He kissed her tenderly on her cheek. Obviously, she didn’t see that coming but she definitely welcomed that move. I believe it was that kiss that inspired Sir Chief to pursue Maya so that she will eventually become his girlfriend…..then ultimately his wife!

But, at the back of my head, am hearing this teeny weeny voice asking… is this staged? eto na yata ang pinakamalaking Hopia Day!!! Fine, am willing to give it that benefit of the doubt… so we’ll see tomorrow… Talagang ABANGAN!!! :’-(
Call me crazy but I still feel “cheated’ by what happened earlier.I moved my meetings just so I could watch it.
Some people missed classes, missed lunch, missed dates, missed what have yous just so they can witness this event.
There was even a freakin plug about ” the kiss you don’t wanna miss!” blah blah.So of course, people anticipated and moved heaven and earth just so they could watch this show.
And then that “glitch” happened. If this is in fact, a ploy to get more advertisement and to hype up the episode then it’s really gonna piss the hell out of me!
I don’t understand why this glitch happened.Even if “the first real kiss” wouldn’t happen today. We all expect a full show, even if it’s just a 20 minute show smashed inside an hour of commercial laden daytime serye.
The network should understand where all this frustration/disappointment/anger is coming from.THEY should know that the viewers today are intelligent and they demand an explanation… A simple “WE ARE EXPERIENCING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES” would NOT do the trick.

Zel to be honest with you…I don’t think this is staged kasi about 15 minutes before it is supposed to air in the Philippines, everyone is tweeting and re-tweeting abangan ang showing ng first real kiss….sunod sunod yan…mga fan clubs at ABS CBN and BeCarefulHeart twitter accts sige sila pag plug ng show…everyone was excited. It seemed it all started …meron pang staggering tweets like this: “ang sweet naman ng mga kids they let them go out on a date.” Retweet yong tweet ni Tart Carlos “its a good night to have a date on a Saturday” something like that. Tapos isa pang tweet “HHWW PSSP pa sila sa date nila.”
Then all of a sudden someone tweeted that the score is overpowering the spoken dialogue. Something is wrong with the audio. Then after that wala na galit na lahat ng tweet…Tapos may nagpapaumanhin na that there is a technical glitch somewhere. Pati daw si Vice Ganda nagpapaumanhin na. So I don’t think they did this on purpose just to psych us or something.

hello everyone…I have stayed up as usual to see The Kiss but unfortunately my twitter feed tells me that there has been a technical problem so they are unable to show the episode. I am disappointed but what can we do. I think ABS CBN hyped the show today too much. My twitter feed was going ape crazy about 15 minutes before the show. Then all of a sudden it stopped. I thought well they must be watching now so all eyes and ears glued to TV. No one was tweeting then all of a sudden ayon na…galit na mga tao because walang KISS…

Or baka naman they needed to edit some of the scenes like the first kiss? I remember dapat me scene nun na si Maya nang gigigil kay Ser Chief na inamoy/kiss yung ulo nya and next thing you know nakaraan na lang yung scene na yun hindi pinakita sa show how it transpired.
Anyway, I hope the show tomorrow would be for an hour to make up today and tomorrow’s episode respectively.

Abby’s Innocence is so so so………. Oh My G! Nakakakilig naman yung mga tanong ni Abby.. Ok wow like Maya 25 yrs old si Abby kapag 25 yrs old ang tanda niya na noon.
In today’s episode, two ideas came to mind – that of a parent’s outlook particularly in the parenting genre and of course that child’s perspective for who wouldn’t be captured by sweet Abby’s innocent questions brought about by her curiosity and yearning for understanding on the things she watched and the explanations her siblings gave.
A Parent’s Outlook
Raising a happy, healthy and well balanced child is one of the most challenging jobs a parent can have and yet one of the most rewarding too! Yet, many are unable to manage it with same enthusiasm as one would do for a job. Many may act instinctively or stick to the same parenting techniques learned from their own parents whether these were effective skills or not. But whatever the case may be, good parenting helps foster empathy, honesty, self-reliance, self-control, kindness, cooperation, and cheerfulness. It further promotes intellectual curiosity, motivation to learn and do more, and encourages a desire to achieve and to develop one’s potentials.
Richard had always been a great provider to his family. But the demise of his wife put a toll in his ability to raise his kids for he found himself buried in his work, running a company as a way to cope with his loss and thereby becoming a distant part time father. But with some unexpected twist of faith, he crossed path with this provincial lass (Maya) who turned his and his children’s world around, beyond their wildest expectation. She not only brought immense change in Abby, the youngest child, but everyone in the household. What once filled with strife, sadness and loss, the Lim household slowly came back to life – full of vigor, laughter, open lines of communication, love nurtured and respect flourished. With Maya in his life, Richard had been a changed man, in the way he view life, his work and most especially in his relationship with his kids. He’s a far cry from the Richard a year back for he now embodies a very hands-on Dad, committed to be at every stage of his kids’ life, guiding, mentoring and loving them the best he could possibly be. Where he had been distant before, he now expresses his unconditional love thru spoken words and actions alike. Where he prioritized work before, he now put his kids and their welfare his utmost priority well beyond his own. Where his words were tough and tyranny ruled, he now personifies compassion, encouraging free flow of discussion, bending rules when need be. Where he had taken all the responsibilities in all of the kids’ welfare, he now delegates a few or so to Luke and Nikki, thereby teaching them responsibilities. Where he treated spending time with the kids as time wasted, he now looks forward and cherishes the bonding moments with the family. And finally, when he had been intolerant and impatient with the ways of his youngest child, Abby, he now enjoys bonding with her, patiently explaining in ways that a 7 year old can understand.
On the contrary, Jeff with no prior knowledge that he had long been a father of 8 years embraced his role as Cho’s Papa Pards when he discovered of Cho’s existence. He left his job overseas to be closer and build that father-son bond with his newfound son. In so short a time, he had been a good role model and father figure to Cho, deepening that bond that’s been rooted with love, respect and longing for one another. But as any parent would do, no matter how difficult, no matter how unthinkable, a father’s love will be willing to sacrifice if only for the welfare of one’s child. And Jeff, thinking only of Cho’s welfare and future, willingly sacrificed the chance to watch Cho grow up and temporarily forgo being a hands-on father in lieu of a better future for his son. For now he is ok with watching and loving his son from miles away… but the bond is as strong as ever… thanks to the technological tools made available to both father and son.
Kute, on the other hand, for the last 8 years embraced and played both the father and mother to Cho with the help from Nanay Teresita, Mamang and Maya. She was able to step up to the occasion and had been successful in raising a loving, kind and respectful and smart child in Cho. Although, she kept Cho from his father, Jeff, but when the time came for the secret to uncover and bring to light, she willingly shared the responsibility with Jeff, knowing too well that he can only be the one to fill that void that Cho will need – that father’s love and that male role model in the child’s development.
A child’s perspective
What wonder when one sees the world through the eyes of a child? Children have that innocence about them that is so genuine, candid, very real and authentic. It’s such a marvel that it brings a smile to every parent’s face reminiscent of that very special time called childhood. Children have no preconceived notions for they are untainted by experience and they say things as honestly and sincerely as they were taught, no sugar coating to what they say simply because there’s no reason to and they have not learn to filter things they say. They are spontaneous and are very perceptive. They are much focused in what they want for they are such curious beings; they explore, question, and wonder, and by doing so, learn. Truly, curiosity is the wick in the candle of learning.
Abby is one sweet smart child. She, time and time again displayed her maturity beyond her age. And this time around, she didn’t disappoint! Out of the mouth of babes, in her angelic innocence, she asked her Daddy Singkit questions that had been lingering in her young mind from that rom-com flick she watched with her siblings – about having a boyfriend, being in a relationship, boyfriend’s duty to give flowers, to first kiss and the like. And how in the true fashion of a child’s innocent mind, imitating what she sees and observes like mirroring her Ate Maya’s age when she too can have a boyfriend and have that first kiss. True to the saying, “sa mata ng bata ang ginagawa ng matatanda ay nagiging tama”.
It’s such a wonder just how kids know how to express themselves and say what it is that’s on their mind with such simplicity and pure honesty. And just how adults can learn and relearn so much from that perspective and experience/relive those precious moments and joys that only that age of innocence can provide. It’s that child’s perspective that parents and adults alike can fuel to becoming better and more responsible ensuring the world be a better place for these innocent angels. Ah, such innocence indeed!
NOT JUST MERE BREADWINNERS
A father’s role in a child’s life is imperative to the healthy growth and development of that child. His traditional role as the sole breadwinner of the family is only partly true in our current generation. It is not infrequent to see double income earners in the family, where both Mom and Dad are both gainfully employed. Moreover, it is also unfortunate that single parent households are on the rise due to absentee father leaving the sole responsibility of parenting the child to the mother, thereby making her perform the dual role of both parents. Ideally, a child functions better in our society when both parents are involved in his life. In this episode, the fathers of our beloved drama are put on the spotlight. It is after all the celebration of Father’s Day, in the world of BCWMH, and they are being honored for being one.
Richard is a hands-on Dad. Although he maintains an outfit that is well worth in the millions and the responsibility to run it requires a majority of his time, he takes his role as a father quite seriously and demonstrates to his children that they are his priority. Realizing that his wife’s death has left an unbridgeable gap in the children’s growth and development, he has consciously tried to fill those needs for them. However, he is resigned to the fact that no matter what he does, a mother is the only one that can truly satisfy their needs. Fortunately, the nanny he employed to take care of Abby has immensely contributed to her healthy development. Abby turns out to be well-adjusted, well-behaved, sweet and loving. The same nanny has also touched the lives of his older children in a way that he never can. Meeting Maya may initially have been coincidental, but fate is slowly revealing to him that theirs was not a chance meeting. In fact, their meeting is predestined and that Maya is the answer to his fervent prayers that someone would come into his life as a helpmate. Maya might just very well be, the one.
Jeff is also a devoted Tatay. He is willing to do anything to provide for the needs of his son. There is no question that he loves Cho and enjoys being a hands-on father to him. He relishes the time he spends with him, instructing him, playing with him and generally watch him grow and develop into a young man equipped with all the tools he needs to survive in the world. However, he demonstrates his ultimate love for him when he willingly sacrifices his time and temporarily relinquishes his responsibility to play an active role in his son’s life. He knows that it is difficult to be away from Cho but he also realizes that it is necessary that he leaves the country to work overseas, so that he can provide for Cho a better future. Fortunately, his bond with Cho is strong so that their love for each other does not diminish while he is away. Creatively, they maintain their relationship through frequent connection using the tools that the readily-available information technology provides. Phone calls, texts, emails and skype help them maintain their need to be in touch and help to diminish their pain of being apart.
In contrast, Maya and Kute’s father’s abandonment of his children produces very strong women. His desertion is unfortunate and painful, especially for Nanay Teresita. However, with her indomitable spirit, she manages to single-handedly raise two beautiful women who are fully equipped to face the world and the challenges it throws at them. She is her daughters’ source of strength, encouragement, hope, faith, wisdom and courage. Consequently, despite their father’s absence in their lives, they grow up confident, charmingly tough and surprisingly optimistic. And they only have their single parent, Nanay Teresita, solely to thank, for how well they have managed to turn out.
Blessed are the children of these fathers and the one-who-was-forced-to-take-on-the-role of one. Through them, they usher into the world good and upright citizens and people of unquestionable character that will inherently leave a positive mark in whatever role in society they choose to play.

I’ve watched this episode so many times I still laugh and touched with Ser Chief and Abby’s conversation, with Doris and Sabel in the sidelines. The conversation between Ser Chief and Abby is so poignant. It shows how Abby is so smart and matured for her age, and Ser Chief answering her questions honestly shows how he accepts Abby’s intelligence. This intelligent communication between a father and a young daughter is a scene that we wish happening in a parent and child relationship.
There are lots of moral lessons imparted in this episode. It is very fulfilling to watch a show wherein you are so entertained and at the same time enriching your character.

I cannot help but wonder why medyo malamya ang treatment ng TV Patrol sa KISS na ito.
So unbelievable pa for me prior to this much awaited KISS yung laman ng headline news nila. Yung timing, yung timing. This is NOT the first time.

Here is my 0.2cents about today’s show. I applaud RY for stepping up his acting he showed some passions , feelings and tenderness with Maya and the kids. But I am disappointed of Jodi’s part she was very aloof, timid and guarded when they were dancing and when they hug. The dance looks awkward because it was so noticeable that Jodi not into it doing the scene she was so far away from the bottom she was sticking her butt out away from RY. The director should notice it and directed Jodi to get a little bit closer since it looks so awkward or the camera man should only shot the upper part of their body like they did with the hug at the end of the show. Over all the show was good since it makes a lot of viewers happy.
Hi candy………………….i don’t know if jodi is like that sa hugging scenes niya with any actor. Maybe she feels uncomfortable? had a bad experience before? or baka that is how she hugs people……..yung buttocks protruded.
Na notice rin ng director and cast yan in that I-love-you scene during Maya’s graduation with the director asking Jodi not to do that.
Oh Yes! noticeable improvement in SC’s emo scenes.
Yes, we also noticed the “awkward hug” of Maya. too bad, okay pa naman sana. Before it was Sir Chief scene sa “most romantic place” (“tayo na, wala ng bawian”) na hug ngayon naman si Maya..
Wala po bang episode ng BCWMH last thursday? kasi wala kasing nakapost na thursday epi sa iwantv, pero merong friday epi pero nung pinanood ko ang friday, parang wala namang kulang na epi (parang pang-thursday yong epi).. Is it just iwantv, or wala talagang thursday epi ng BCWMH??

Mas higher ang ratings ng BCWMH sa AGB Neilsen (Mega- Manil) most of the time kahit percieved pro-kapuso ang AGB. I checked the AGB-VIsayas and AGB-Mindanao, hay grabe taas ng BCWMH! Even yung Wowowillie ang taas din sa probinsya.
Mataas talaga ang BCWMH sa vis-min kasi more on kapamilya ang mga region na yun.
Even in mega manila, mataas ang viewship ng bcwmh.

Ang taas nga nang BCWMH sa south! Pumalo sa 45% ang BCWMH this June lang sa AGB-Mindanao.
Pero ABS-CBN is not looking at the AGB-Nielsen ratings, Kantar media sila. Kaya medyo alarmed ang dos when the ratings dipped slightly lang naman pero it happened when school started and I don’t blame the viewers if mas type nila to watch the replay sa internet kasi sa TV.
