To the Management, staff & crew, to all the actors and to all of us
Richard joins the kids at the dinner table after coming home from work. He has with him the flowers that he is going to give Maya. The kids got really wide eyed seeing him with flowers. He admits to them that even though there is no celebration other than he hasn’t given her any flowers in a long time, they are indeed for Maya. Abby thought her Dad is so sweet. Richard said girls like flowers. Luke emphatically agreed. Abby said, “Why Kuya? Are you a girl?” (Ha ha ikaw talaga Abby lumalaki kang sutil pareho ng Daddy mo.) This was to Nikki’s delight. Nikki asked what time her flight is arriving? Richard said in about an hour. Abby, Nikki and Luke begged Richard to come. They wanted to see him give her the flowers. Richard tried to reason with Nikki about her condition to no avail. After the kids argued back and forth and Nikki found a way to be included telling Richard Luke will be her saklay, (Very smart Nikki) Abby puts her hands together and told Richard “Please Daddy, let us all come.” (In her sweet and angelic voice) Richard had no choice and at the same time he was happy the kids are reaching out to Maya. (Ang saya nila.)
At the airport Richard sent a message to Maya asking if she’s arrived already? He is waiting for her at the parking lot. Maya meets him and was surprised that Richard had flowers for her. They hugged. Maya heard Abby from the car and she was surprised that all three kids were there with Richard to meet her. Richard said he was outnumbered so he had to take them with him. Maya was happy to see everyone. She told them because her and Richard were not able to bring them a treat home from the launch; she brought back Barquillos from Iloilo. The kids were happy. Luke and Nikki play argue back and forth. This continued until they got home. Manang Fe heard them and shooed them to bed after getting mad at them. Richard was left downstairs when Maya called. She asked about the kids. She thanked Richard that he brought them with him to pick her up at the airport. It made her very happy. She can’t help but think of all the troubles they went through with the kids and now they are enjoying the fruit of their labor. Richard agreed. He said he was glad they didn’t give up. (True…nag kapit-bisig kayo successfully.)
Cyber Bullying…
Upstairs, Nikki was getting ready for bed and talking to Stacey at the same time. Stacey asked her if she saw Aira’s (Tse) FB post? Stacey said she is giving out hints about who this girl is. She already said she is in high school. Everyone is curious to know who it is. Nikki hangs up the phone and checks the status on Aira’s FB. She is indeed giving out clues as to whom she is referring to. Nikki was so upset she wrote something in the post bar…she self talked and decided she couldn’t do that? She just can’t respond to Aira (Tse) in that way. But instead of erasing it, she accidentally hit post. It showed on the page for a split second before Nikki frantically erased it. She was relieved after she was able to erase the post. (I think this is really a bad case of bullying. Nikki shouldn’t be subjected to something like that, after all she is still young and she has not done anything to warrant that treatment from the likes of this Bruha. And of course it is too bad that neither Luke nor Nicolo really knows the real score between Bruha and Niknik so they couldn’t help Nikki. Bruha is using social media to further her bullying besides pretending to break up with Nicolo, talking to Nikki to stay away from Nicolo and abusing what ever advantage she has over Nikki and Nicolo. Talagang super bruha…Tse Pwe Blech!)
The next morning, at the dinner table, Nikki’s attention was divided. She was eating and working her Ipad. Richard had to tell her to quit it because they are eating. Nikki obliged. Luke (sutil) asked Nikki what she was so busy doing on the Ipad anyway? Nikki said nothing, just some update stuff. Luke snatches the Ipad to see. Richard warns Luke to stop it. He’s already asked Nikki to stop. (Ang gulo ninyong dalawa. Napaka sutil ni Luke…nonstop silang magasaran ha ha parang kami lang ng brother ko ha ha. Ganoon pala ang sakit ng ulo ng parents ko noon away kami ng away ha ha. Now I see.)

Hangad namin na sa mga magdadaan pang araw at buwan ay marami kayong pasabog!. Saka mas tumagal pa ang show na ito dahil hindi makukumpleto ang araw namin kung hindi dahil sa binigay nyo!

(The two lovebirds fall asleep. Suddenly, snoring in stereo is heard in backseat, Mang Lem looks at rearview mirror sees SC and Maya dozing off and smiles.)
(Camera pans to close-up shot of Mang Lem, his head jerks forward then falls backwards soon he too falls asleep!!).CHAPTER 2 SCENE 1 (Maya having breakfast with Eman)
Eman: Oh my pink gosh, binandera ka nang bongga?
Maya: Dit…dit…dit..da..dat…dat…dat. Ok Ser Chief ko. [We’re back to Ser Chief ko?]CHAPTER 3 SCENE 1 (Nikki with foot propped up on sofa watching TV. Looking bored. Gets up, walks gingerly down the stairs one step at a time. Halfway sees Maya and Doris at the gate)
Nikki (in a split second appears on the driveway): Ate Maya! Are those fruits for me?
Maya (in red blouse/white pants): Oh Nikki, sandali. Hindi ba dapat pinapahinga mo ang paa mo? Sigurado ka OK na paa mo?
Nikki (in reddish blouse/white shorts): Hindi naman siya super sakit, konting maga na lang. Dumating naman dito si Dr. Mang Kalbo and he said na konting maga na lang. Super bored lang ako.
Maya: Bored? Sige tawagan mo lang si Kute humingi ka ng advice sa kanya kung ano ang ginawa niya nung nahulog siya sa bubong namin. Ay, huwag na lang pala kasi nga depression siya nuong napilay siya.
Nikki (laughing): Sobra ka Ate Maya. I’m OK na.
Maya (snaps fingers): Alam ko na mag-piko na lang tayo ni Doris. Tutal naman isang paa lang ang kailangan mo sa piko kasi mag-kakabahay ako agad. Husay ko kaya mag-piko.
CHAPTER 4. SCENE 1: (At PUS. Luke arrives with friend. Nicolo on cellphone)
Luke: Jan natatandaan mo ba si Carl? (sees Nicolo on cellphone) O sino kausap niyan?
Jan: Ewan ko nga kanina pa siya may kausap.
Nicolo (looking impatient with person on the other line): Eh…..teka…oo…eh….o….puedeng pasingit? Sandali lang puede ba? ‘tol ikaw na ang kumausap , nag-sesermon eh.
Luke (points to his ears, whispers): Makinig ka na lang.
Nicolo: Eh teka muna Aira di ba sabi mo ayaw mo na akong kausapin? Bakit tumawag ka hindi na nga kita tinatawagan.
Aira: Oo para sabihin sa iyo ayaw na kitang makausap kaya kita tinawagan.
Nicolo: Eh kaya nga gumimick na lang kami kahapon nag-basketball kami nila Luke.
Aira: Bakit ba ang kulit mo Nicolo sinabi ko na sa iyo ayaw na kitang kausapin. Hindi mo ba ako maintindihan?
Nicolo: Hindi porke ayaw mo kay Nikki hindi ko siya puedeng maging kaibigan. Para siyang little sister ko.
Aira: Little sister? Excuze” me, are you that “denz”? Nikki likes you that’s why she’s so papansin. Don’t you laugh at me. Patay na patay sa iyo ang NikNik mong iyan. She’s so cheap. Not like me tahimik, I don’t “forze” myself on anyone. (hears a click at the other end) Hello? Hello?
Aira (dials Nicolo again): Nicolo, I’m just calling you to tell you not to call me back. (hears click again) Hello? Hello?
CHAPTER 5. SCENE 1: (Luke, Nikki and Abby having dinner. SC arrives with flower arrangement on hand)
SC: OK, I know you’re all dying to know. Yes, the flowers are for Maya.
Abby: Daddy, what’s the occasion po. Bakit may flowers?
SC: Nothing. I haven’t given her flowers for quite some time and ah, girls like flowers di ba?
Luke (butts in): Oo naman, Dad.
Abby: Why Kuya are you a girl?
Luke: Huh, baby? (picks up and raises glass of water to his mouth with pinky finger raised….ay, BUKING!)
CHAPTER 6. SCENE 1: (Maya having breakfast with Eman….again…)
Eman (speaking his own language): As in ???……ka? Super cute, super sweet. Roomie, sueldo nyo ngayon di ba? Maaga ka uuwi later? Let’s see a movie. I’m so outdated bago pa mag-start ang ???….blues sa school.
CHAPTER 7. SCENE 1: (SC seeing Maya off at the airport)
Maya: Ser Chief, tuloy ba tayo sa dinner mamaya?
SC: Oo wala pa namang sinasabi si Lisa kung may meeting ako. Duon na lang tayo mag-dinner sa bahay.
Maya: Sa bahay? Eh, Ser Chief lagi na lang tayo sa bahay. Alam ko madalas mo akong pakainin sa labas kaso nga lang sa labas talaga, sa baywalk, sa PUS grand lawn, sa ibabaw ng kotse sa gubat, puede ba sa loob naman ng restaurant?

Palengkera talaga yung Airang yan. Di pa nga siya official GF, sinugod na niya si Nikki, na so called karibal (not yet confirmed) niya all because she suspects na may gusto si Nikki kay Nicolo. Eh ano ngayon kung may gusto, siya lang ba ang may karapatan magkagusto kay Nicolo??? Duh, buti sana yung inaakit ni Nikki si Nicolo, eh si Nicolo naman ang naghahabol kay Nikki.
It looks like malapit na talaga ang wedding…………..just wondering ano kaya maguudyok kay Ser Chief to ask Maya to marry him agad-agad……………looking forward gulatin na naman tayo ng writers.

Makikisona na rin loveteam fan talaga ako, forever loyal sa team -up ni JLC-Bea . And I never thought na ma fall inlove ako kay Jerome at Janella ang weird lang kasi di naman sila loveteam dito pero isa ako sa hopia na after BCWMH magkaroon sila ng soap na sila naman bida as loveteam, pero kagabi meron akong nabasa na may ipapartner kay Luke pero chismis lang naman. Oks lang naman sana kaso parang may kirot at baka ang HOPIA ko sa JerNella mauwi sa wala….ngayon pa lang nag-iipon na ako para may pagbayad sa goons para unang araw pa lang nya..papadukot ko na sya.
Di ako makaget over sa kiss sa noo ni Ser Chief kay Maya at Kapit Biceps sa kotse sa episode kahapon sarap balik balikan..para sa akin ito na ata ang epitome of kilig moments sa BCWMH.

Well done naka one year kayo, dapat 13 weeks lang but here you are still presenting us your viewers one amazing stories after another , never kami nabore pero lang sa mga nega peeps but to be honest they are like .0001% of the population and they don’t count kasi you have been followed by millions of people around the world thanks to TFC, who honestly love this teleseries 100%. Back to business… although I have been away in my little world, I still managed to watch every episode at least 3x although I can’t share and do reviews I can’t miss the anniversary no! I remember last year si Kute ang bali ang paa one year on si Nikki naman ang may foot sprain, hehehe ano yan karma? The beginning of this story when The Lim family dine together they hardly talk to each other at hang tense ha, now kulitan in a good way pati si Daddy Sinkit napagiisahan ng mga bata.hehehe memory……..
Okay social issues, this show is so aware of what trouble young kids faces today. Bullying. I personally don’t condone revenge but because in my little world Cho has been apart of my little family so GO CHO! Lakihan mo pa yung chili and stuff it inside the sausage para hindi halata kasi if you put it inside the sandwich halata. Then please please tell Nanay Kute na kasi, para makutusan ni Nanay kasi si Ron-ron kasing laki lang ni Nanay mo, thus kapag nagsumbong siya sa Principal he/she can see patas lang ang laban kasi pareho silang maliit malay mo si Ron-ron pa ang mapagalitan kasi pumapatol siya sa babae so di ba Astig yung plan ko?;-)
Oiy Ayra child abuse yang ginagawa mo kay Nikki ha, she is only 14 and your what 18…. you are so immature, so insecure, so cheap and bad dresser (hahaha me pumatol sa bata din) wala lang trip lang hahaha. Anyway Nikki ganito gawin mo tawagan mo si Kute , tapos magsumbong ka sa kanya then since you all have the means to fly Kute to Manila, bring her in. Tapos harap mo siya kay Ayra tingnan natin kung hindi siya matakot kay Kute saka para makutusan din si Ayra nine Kute ( making Kute the enforce, Aiza hates bullies i don’t think she will agree with the kutusan but in my own world she does kutus the bad kids hehehe)
What more can we ask for , but hey let’s meet the parents………more lovely stories then we can all be happy when this series end because we all know Everything is going to be okay.

Pride and Prejudice
Pride is defined as a feeling of gratification arising from association with something good or laudable. It is inwardly directed emotion which refers to a satisfied sense of regard toward one’s own or another’s choices and actions, or toward a whole group of people, and is a product of praise, independent self-reflection, or a fulfilled feeling of belonging. It also can have the positive benefits of enhancing creativity, productivity. On the other hand, prejudice is an adverse judgment or opinion formed beforehand, without knowledge or examination of the facts. It is an irrational thought, feeling or hatred of a particular individual, group, race, or religion. For to be prejudiced is to affect injuriously, maliciously or harmfully by a judgment or an act.
In today’s episode, that sense of pride towards some characters is evident. Abby can be seen with her classmates announcing her wish to enlist as star scout and beamingly cited her Ate Maya’s remark on how being one will be a lot enjoyable and memorable when shared with friends. Asked who Ate Maya is, Abby proudly disclosed Ate Maya as her Dad’s girlfriend and with so much pride declared her Ate Maya as the best flight attendant in town! And she displayed further her admiration by saying that she intends to follow in her footsteps by becoming a flight attendant herself when she grows up. Indeed, Maya has grown into Abby and a huge impact with Abby that whatever she does, Abby emulates and models herself to anything that her Ate Maya does. For Abby, she is “the” role model, her idol or her very own heroine and hopefully, a mother she can call in the future. On the other hand, Maya’s colleagues showed their pride by recognizing the achievement of her Sir Chief’s achievements as printed in the newspaper, and their pride of her as well for exuding that beauty and confidence during the event. With pride, they set aside a copy for Maya to which Maya had been grateful. Likewise, showing how proud she was with Sir Chief’s achievement, she shared the information to her family back in San Nicholas and in the true Dela Rosa way, Nanay Teresita shared the good news to friends and neighbors framed the news clipping as a commemoration to that special event for Richard and Maya. Maya, always the thoughtful one, also framed the news clipping and gave it as a surprise gift to her Sir Chief for his achievements with the successful launch. And because of the event’s success, words spread like wildfire and reached to the attention of Don Roberto and his associates. He called Richard to congratulate his son on the success of the new hangar. Even Manang Fe didn’t pass the chance to show how proud she was for Richard’s achievements.
On the flipside, both Nikki and Cho continued getting prejudice from their peers – Nikki from Aira’s ire over Niccolo and Cho from his schoolmates. While Nikki’s been attacked thru cyber bullying with Aira’s use of Facebook as a platform for bullying, Cho on the other hand is being bullied physically by taking his lunch and extending beyond to hurting him if objection occurs. But in the end, what will resolve this issue will be for both Nikki and Cho to trust their family and open up on the predicaments they are in that way, together with their family, they will be able to find the right solution to overcome the issue and come out stronger. For nothing beats with open communication and trusting the ones they love for they will be the very ones who will be there to help and see them thru with whatever difficulties they encounter.
While this may be serious, sadly, violence against children by their peers, hiding in the form of bullying, has taken little or no attention in the country for so long. Conceivably this is due to the notion that bullying or fighting among children is part and parcel of school culture usually labeled as “Away Bata”, that one has to go thru because it’s “normal” or some sort of “a rite of passage” for children. While a school is supposed to be the students’ second home, unfortunately, sometimes, schools become the venue for abuse exposing children to violence not necessarily from peers, but even from teachers and school personnel. What is alarming in today’s society is the wide availability of technology to children where cyber bullying is becoming rampant. Cyber-bullying focuses on the person’s reputation, appearance and the victim’s opinion. According to the Stop Cyberbullying Philippines group, an informal survey in 2012 revealed that females engage more in cyber-bullying at 57% compared to males at 43%. Females bully thru gossips, spreading rumors using technology – social sites like Facebook which is considered as the number one platform used for cyber-bullying attacks with cell phone calls a distant second.

Yes, saw your posts last night. MMK pala ang peg dito kahapon. That was my first post but i’ve been lurking since the first post in Thread I. Couldn’t muster enough courage to come out. When i couldn’t contain the kilig any longer ayun nga nagladlad na at ibinandera ang pagiging adik!
My first kilig was the Jones Bridge encounter. My! Padating pa lang yung car ni SC I knew that it would be electric … and it was! And when Maya said “sa lahat ng pangit na nangyari sa akin sa araw na ito, IKAW ANG PINAKAGUWAPO! I couldn’t agree with her more!
But even before the show started airing, they had me at the teaser. Technically, i would say it was my very first pre-airing kilig. Yung nag I LOVE YOU si SC kay Abby while looking at Maya … heaven!

STRESS
In life, there is one thing that one can definitely count on and that is the incessant ebb and flow of stress in one’s journey through life. If a man boasts that he lives a relatively stress-free lifestyle, he is primarily deluding himself. He is either telling an obvious lie or he is substantially in denial. Since, the beginning of time, when God first introduced the first man and the first woman to each other, stress was already there, surreptitiously biding its time to enter their lives. Stress, then, came in the form of a cunning snake.
Stress is indiscriminate. Its entry into one’s life is generally indeterminable. It does not consider one’s socio -economic status or one’s level of maturity. It is ultimately life’s greatest equalizer. Man may not be able to control the stress that invades his life, interrupts his routine and derails his well-ordered plans but he can control his reactions towards it. The way he manages his stress is essentially determined by his self-esteem, his support network and his coping mechanism. Supposedly, stressful life events can have long-term positive effects and can help man to understand more about himself, his social network, his priorities, and his life, in general.
Stress basically comes in two forms: positive and negative stress. Examples of positive stress include winning the lottery, being promoted, getting engaged, having a baby, buying a new car, moving into a new home. Examples of negative stress comprise losing a job, receiving an eviction notice, being involved in a car accident, a cancer diagnosis, a death in the family. In today’s episode, our young characters are dealing with their own brand of stress. They are struggling with emotional and social stress induced by bullying.
Nikki and Cho, initially, respond to their stress in the same way. Both retreat within themselves as they try to comprehend their unsettling situation. Unable to confront the problem on their own but unwilling to confide to adults about what is happening, they essentially suffer in silence. However, Cho breaks out from his shell by bravely attempting to resolve his issue. First, he seeks out helps from his parents but that attempt obviously fails. Hence, he intuitively tries to solve his problem by courageously implementing his own plan. Regrettably, his plan of exacting his revenge on the school bullies miserably ends up in disaster.
On the other hand, Nikki’s pride prevents her from sharing her anxieties with her well-meaning friends. Quietly, she essentially internalizes her problem. Hence when she is personally confronted and almost-physically accosted by Aira, she openly breaks down.
Personally, I am looking forward to how the creative team will get these children’s issues resolved. I am quite sure that they will handle it wisely and with great sensitivity. It is also interesting to note that both of these children are injured in the leg. Could it be coincidental or is it a planned symbolic imagery to underscore a message that they want to impart?
It looks like malapit na talaga ang wedding…………..just wondering ano kaya maguudyok kay Ser Chief to ask Maya to marry him agad-agad……………looking forward gulatin na naman tayo ng writers

1) Was not expecting Ms. Diana from Time Airways to show up; hurray for her giving a smackdown (delivered with class) to all the cats in the ladies’ room. And was not Maya’s greeting too cute!
2) In other news: So…Ms. Yna is in the States and pregnant. When we last heard from her, she was in Boracay with a new boyfriend? We wish her well.
3) James Ventura takes after his dear mother in looks. He has to, if that’s what his father looks like. I’d like to see him and his dad together, perhaps at a Time Airways function this time.
4) I would like to do things to Aira. And not nice things, either. You were the one who told Niccolo he was busted; you’re not even his girlfriend yet. You badmouth someone he’s known since she was a baby by saying she’s cheap, and you expect him to just take your word for it? GRR. What makes you think you have the right to go after Nikki? Online and offline? Yes, I would like to do things to that girl.
5) The back seat dialogue. *happy sigh* Any sweeter and I would have my teeth dropping out of my head with the sweetness. *grin*

A TRIBUTE
A year ago, ABS CBN premiered what originally was a scheduled 13-week run on an experimental television series to fill a morning time slot which will essentially entertain the homebound viewers such as the stay-at-home mothers and the household help. Unbeknownst to the network, this untested light romantic comedy drama will become the blockbuster that it is today, nor did they envision that it will last this long. Yes, Be Careful with my Heart has been airing its daily episodes for an entire year now and has been providing entertainment not just within the borders of the Philippines, but it has expanded beyond its borders to include expatriates through the World Wide Web. It has effectively united Pinoys from all walks of life, regardless of their socio-economic status, educational attainment, sexual orientation, religious affiliation and age. The realistic simplicity in which they portray how an ordinary young provincial woman tries to survive in the metropolitan jungle of Manila despite the challenges thrown at her is quite admirable. The creative team does not resort to gimmickry. They restrain themselves from manipulating the plots to illicit unnecessary angst in the minds of its viewers. They acknowledge that life is already challenging, as it is, for the average Filipino. Hence they endeavor to provide a story line that does not add anymore unwarranted stress for their audience. Their goal is to deliver a drama that mirrors the lives of the Filipinos and how they overcome their daily trials. Metaphorically speaking, they present a package, sans superfluous wrappings and ostentatious decorations, because they know that the substance within, simply does not require any unnecessary dressing. They showcase the basic goodness of man, the beauty that inherently dwells in his heart and the simple truth that he adheres to. That is the Filipino philosophy that, with God nothing is impossible, with the support of the family nothing is unattainable and with true love in one’s heart, nothing is unconquerable.
In today’s episode, the drama‘s first anniversary celebration centers on Maya. Rightfully so, as this drama after all chronicles Maya’s journey from her humble beginnings as a young girl to the successful achievement of her dream to become a Flight Attendant and, how within that journey she has positively enhanced the lives of the people she meets. Two symbolic items which are usually associated with celebrations punctuate this episode and gently reminds us that today is no ordinary day. How appropriate indeed that the main character of the drama is involved in the presentation of these two items. In the beginning of the episode, Maya presents a basket of fruits, recognizing the bountiful harvest of blessings that the show has been showered with, thus far. The end of the episode closes with a bouquet of flowers presented to Maya by the love of her life. The flowers represent the show of appreciation for the creative genius of the show which includes it actors, the creative and production team. Furthermore, it is symbolic of the accolades the show and its creative team have received from its audiences and its critics, alike.

Carpe Diem is a Latin phrase from the Odes of Horace (Book 1, No. 11), popularly translated as “Seize the Day” or “Enjoy the Day”. While it’s part of a longer phrase – Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero – “Seize the Day, putting as little trust as possible in the next day/future”, it can only mean that the future is unecpected, so one should not leave to chance future endeavors or actions, rather one should do all one can today to make one’s future better. However, it’s not about ignoring one’s future, but rather not trusting that everything is going to fall into place someday but rather doing those things today for better outcome.
So as we enjoy today’s episode, it is indeed worth celebrating a year of good vibes, of laughter and even tears but most especially the lessons and traditions imparted not only to those back home but more so to those far away. Happy Anniversary BCWMH!!! As with today’s episode, Sir Chief and Maya’s relationship may have encountered some ups and downs, highs and lows, but as they held on to their faith and their love, the storm eventually cleared and the promise of a brighter and happier future is clearly within their reach. As their relationship flourishes, same goes with the relationship at the Lim household for the atmosphere once again has been filled with love, lively conversations, a little teasing and a lot of communication between Richard and the kids radiating happiness, contentment, openness and light-heartedness at the mansion. It’s nice to see the kids teasing their Dad, begging even, to allow them to join him as he picks up Maya at the airport and gives her the flowers he got for her. For the relationship that they now share is no longer confined between Richard and Maya but including the kids as well. For they may not be labeled as a family just yet, but they are definitely getting there, so long as they keep the faith and love, they will eventually get there. For indeed, a relationship is more than just the giving or the taking; it is doing things for the other without expecting anything in return, simply unconditional, spontaneous, generous and coming from the heart. After all, a happy relationship is based on realistic expectations – taking the effort, time and commitment day after day; fueled by little acts of thoughtfulness; giving affirmations and appreciation every so often and keeping the communication line open for any eventualities, setbacks or the like.
Remembering today (exactly one year ago), for it was the beginning of always, a vow, a covenant… binding two souls (plus three – Luke, Nikki, Abby)… a celebration of the now, a promise of tomorrow. For two (plus three) will always be stronger than one, against all odds – for love will always be the guiding force in the lives of Richard and Maya (and kids). But for now, all the good, the beautiful, the love… Let us embrace them – embrace them all. Simply seize the day… enjoy the day. Carpe Diem.

ABS CBN has gone global with their movie shows. My friends and I just watched Four Sister’s and a Wedding at a Century Theatre in San Francisco and it was amazing. We thought we were in Manila or in Makati. The movie theatre was full house with fellow kababayan’s. The movie was more high definition than watching it in a Philippine theatre. My friends and I already set a date to watch BCWMH movie once it shows in San Francisco.
The episode today were full of good vibes and sweetness except for Aira Tse’s meanness. We can foresee how it’s going to be with Ser Chief, Maya and the kids once Maya becomes Mrs. Richard Lim. The kids are so lucky because they will have a mom, friend, aunt and big sister in Maya. They will also have an extended family with Maya’s. Maya doesn’t have to worry with conflict between family, job and friends. As Ser Chief said before, they can prioritize and work on the solutions to any problem. Ser Chief and Maya are really soul mates. Nilalanggam sila sa ka sweetan.
Go get the bullies Cho. Dapat damihan mo pa ang siling labuyo. Ipalaman mo sa sandwich.
I’m excited to see what is printed in the newspaper. Can’t wait for tomorrow.

Hmmm….if my memory serves me right, the first and last time Ser Chief said “I Love You” first before Maya was during the phone convo where Maya accidentally said ” I Love You” back.
Most of their SMS exchanges would also have Maya to be the first to say the iloveu. Though, I can remember a few times when Ser Chief sent a message with I Love You in it.
I so agree with you! especially with SC who has the tendency to be complacent, talagang kailangan marinig ni Maya ang I love you palagi and of his own volition. kasi if I were in Maya’s shoes, I would end up being insecure kasi wala na nga kung minsang lambingan, wala pang I Love You! kaya lang to each his own naman kung minsan. meron naman na nagkakaintindihan kahit walang words or acts of affection na pinapakita (usually this happens though kung matagal na ang relationship and kilala na nila ang isat-isa). pero I think in Maya’s case na bago pa lang sila and feel niya na may kulang, aba eh, dapat matutunan ni SC ang mag I Love You palagi. pero I think she can and should teach SC to be expressive himself.

Happy Monthserry
The next day, Richard picks up Maya from the condo. At the steps, he is looking hot and leaning against his car waiting for Maya. They greet each other and Maya waited to see if Richard will say something. Richard greeted her “Happy Monthserry” (weeeeee one month pa lang? Parang three months na since the day na sinagot ni Maya si Richard sa Most Romantic Place in San Nicolas…haaaayyy!) Maya was so happy to hear and see that Richard didn’t forget about this mini milestone in their relationship. Richard said he didn’t want to get in trouble. Richard asked Maya what she wanted to do tonight and Maya said she is still undecided. She gave him options…to the movies, to a museum, to do the cruise ship dinner or to an acoustic bar. Richard replied, he wants a quiet dinner at his house (but me thinks he is just saying this because Maya seem to not want to go to the mansion)…Maya tried to explain to him again about going to his house and then Richard said he just wants to see Maya sweat it out because she looks really cute when she’s like that. Maya tells him today is their monthserry and no one will spoil the day for her. With that, they leave for the airport. (But but but you really need to watch it kasi ang cute nila. I can’t give justice to their acting with my review.)

Win, Suki, zel, Jo & T’aR, thanks for leaving comments on this thread. I apologize that I am unable to hang out with you on the forum as I would like. As I had promised, while I am on vacation, as time and internet connectivity will allow, I will visit (and post when possible) as often as I can.
I decided to reminisce as I thought it an appropriate thing to do as BCWMH celebrates its first anniversary being on the air. Moreover, I didn’t want to be redundant by revisiting the same theme that I have already covered in the past. Most of all, I just felt like celebrating the level of relationship that Sir Chief and Maya have attained thus far. In retrospect, there is indeed a lot that has happened in their individual lives and even more blessings to be thankful for, in their lives as a couple. How fortunate for us to have been part of their journey and to have witnessed the evolution of their romantic love story. What a journey it has been indeed!

Manang Fe and Nikki tried to get her room ready for the slumber party…changing sheets and all. Nikki wanted to rearrange the room to give more space. They tried to move the bed…one, two three hrrrrmmmmppp! Not an inch ha ha. Manang Fe, older than dirt, Niknik with one bum leg. Ha ha….Luke and Abby comes in and Abby tried to help N & MF move the bed…One, two, three hrrrrrrrmmmmppp! Ha ha one centimeter with Abby’s strength ha ha…So Luke did it all by himself. Abby said “Wow Kuya Luke, you are like Superman!” ha ha
While Luke cleans up and rearranges Nikki’s room, Nikki got busy baking cookies downstairs. Richard checks up on them quickly. Upstairs Abby was enjoying lying down on the air mattress and Luke pulling her around. She tells him when she has her first slumber party; she wants Luke to be the one to prepare her room. Later, Nikki and Abby went back upstairs to bring a drink of water for Luke. They see he’s made progress (ewan what happened to the bed or the end tables. Parang wala na e nagdisappearing act ha ha) and Nikki was happy and thanked her Kuya. Luke said he wants cookies for all the trouble. Nikki said she only made enough for her guests. But Luke didn’t want to hear it. He wants cookies. Nikki said ok she would make some more. Abby said she would help her.
Nikki and Abby bake another batch for her Kuya Luke and apparently more for Stacey and Megan. Abby and Sabel looks on while she adds ingredients and mixes them all up. After kneeding the dough, Nikki makes the little cookies (Hoy Nikki ang nipis at ang liliit naman nyan pero talagang bite sizes lang. Kaya lang hindi same sizes. Yong iba mas malaki kesa doon sa iba ha ha). Upstairs, Luke calls up Nicolo to go out. Nicolo is broke so upon learning that Nikki is having a slumber party he tells Luke that they should just hang out at his house so they can bother the girls at their slumber party. Luke agreed. He went downstairs to ask permission. Richard said ok.
Maya calls up Richard asking him if he wants to go to the movies. It isn’t something he wants to do so he found excuses and asked Maya if they just did something else? Maya was a bit disappointed but in a short while, Richard called her back to say that if she wants to, they could go watch a movie. Maya said he is just obliging her? He told her it isn’t that. He is concerned that since it is Saturday night the theaters would be packed and they would have to reserve seats. And he didn’t think it is all fun if all they do is sit and watch. Maya tells him that is the point. For a couple of hours it would be nice to sit and not think of work, problems or worries. Richard tells Maya he does not have problems or worries. Maya said he would if he changes his mind about going to the movies (Good for you Maya…stand your ground. I am sure Richard will enjoy the movie and will want to date you to the movies all the time ha ha. Little baby steps for Ricardo.). Fine sige attorney…Richard replied.
Richard tells Manang Fe she is in charge of the kids at home. Manang Fe said fine as long as he has a good time with Maya. She also asked Richard to please tell Maya she said hello. Nikki and Abby hangs out in her room talking about Luke and how much he loves Nikki’s cookies. Nikki said she is just doing it for him because she feels bad that he will be all by his lonesome tonight when all of a sudden a knock on her door. Someone (as in Nicolo) in a funny fake girl voice is knocking at her door calling out Nikki’s name. Nikki thought it was Stacey and Megan. She hurried and stumbled to the door while saying under her breath that they are early and she isn’t quite ready yet (I’m still dugyot she said). She opens the door to Nicolo. Her eyes popped and she hurried up and closed the door again. “Oh my gee. Why is he here?” she said. Outside the three guys were laughing their heads off. Nikki opens the door back again and asks Nicolo what was he doing at their house. Nicolo tells her he thought they are having a slumber party. Nikki tells him he wasn’t invited. Luke joins and tells Nikki she isn’t the only one having a slumber party. They are having one too. Nikki tells luke he is “Gaya gaya” but only after telling him “You are so GRRR” With that she slams the door on them. The guys crack up. Luke said let’s go raid the cookies. Nicolo got excited over Nikki’s cookies (and scratches his back kasi naman I think they left the tag price on Nicolo’s shirt e. Merong malaking tag sa likod. Pati ako tuloy nangangati.) Nikki hears them outside. She opens the door and yells for them not to eat all her cookies. Inside her room, she sends a message to S & M asking where they are?
Parehas lang naman pala sina Maya and SC hindi nagpafunction kapag wala ang isat isa sa tabi. Siya pakasal na kayo.
Lol paano magmo-move yung bed e tinutuunan ni MF sa halip na itulak …peace tayo Manang heheheh.
Aba… sya ang nag ayos talaga ng room ni Nikki…gentleman like his dad.Cute ng hilahan ng inflatable bed with Abby.

Turned down ang offer to watch a movie, tapos biglang tawag ulet to say yes. He doesn’t like to watch movies daw kasi you just sit daw and watch. aba, Mr. Lim then do something else while the movie is playing.

Ubos na daw allowance ni Niccolo kaya walang pang mall.Nun malaman ni Nicolo na may slumber party sila Niks gusto niya pumunta sa mansion ayaw ni Luke dahil pang girls lang daw but Nicolo insist para daw manggulo at wala na siya allowance pang mall pumayag na rin si Luke at tatawagan daw niya si Louie para yayain magbasketball.

I thought it appropriate to look back to the events in the past year and recall how the Sir Chief and Maya’s love affair started. It is quite amusing to witness the easy way in which they openly express their feelings towards each other, in their own privacy or out in public. They are so sweet with each other, the sugar level is absolutely through the roof. The way they are with each other is so normal, so easy going. But, it was not always that way.
Before Sir Chief learned that Maya has a crush on him, she can easily be found lost in her own world, daydreaming what it would be like to be his girlfriend, fantasizing what it is like to be spending time with him, hoping he would look her way and find her remotely attractive, wishing he might deem her worthy of his affection and praying that God will consider granting her supplications. Watching Sir Chief from a distance, acknowledging how handsome he truly is, enjoying the regular drive with him to drop Abby off to the pre-school, expecting the regular discussions regarding Abby’s progress, dreading the unanticipated appointments at the “principal’s office”, smelling his cologne which effectively sends her to “kingdom come” and realizing that she finds him absolutely sexy, all contribute to the logical progression of her innocent infatuation to an unrequited feeling of love. This feeling is daily nurtured merely by his existence in her world. Actually, that is not technically true because, she lives in his house, so it is she who lives in his world. But whatever, I digress.
Maya feels blessed to be living in Sir Chief’s house. She probably counts herself as the luckiest woman alive. Living in such close proximity to the object of her desire is definitely sending Maya into a constant tizzy. Can you imagine getting a daily dosage of your secret love’s sight, sound and smell! Add to that the accidental brush of his hand when he lifts Abby from her lap, when their hands reach to open the car door at the same time, when the two of them teach Luke how to dance the waltz! Or the time when he lends her his jacket to ward off the Baguio chill! That essentially is tantamount to getting an embrace from him! She probably felt the shivers, not from the cold, but from the thought that that particular piece of clothing previously had encased Sir Chief’s warm and sexy body! It is perfectly steeped in his musky smell and his cologne. That alone essentially sends her to next week and effectively transports her to a different zip code. And those nightly tete a tete over her specially brewed coffee! Are you kidding? She definitely lives for those occasions.
Of course Sir Chief has to win Maya’s favor back when he inexcusably hurt her feelings. He works hard to convince her to come back to Manila and persuade her to reconsider her decision to resign from his employ. Here he is, a CEO of a very profitable company, humbling himself in order to secure this woman’s presence back into his family’s life. He finds himself begging her to come back to the mansion, apologizing for his oversight and insensitivity and promising to be a better person. He even resorts to serenading her so that she can really sense his sincerity in pursuing her. Unbeknownst to him, this is the journey that made him aware that he has apparently started to develop romantic feelings for her.
With her safely back in Manila, back at the Lim’s residence, back to where they can resume their daily routine, Sir Chief and Maya’s feelings for each other grow. Their positive unconditional regard for each other blossoms. And even though they have had some bumps to overcome, they did it together. Hence, here they are, enjoying what they both have built together. A love that will hopefully will last until the end of time.

I find the issue of Cho too long, it would seem Cristina Rose is not really attuned to Cho as she should be. The extreme change in Cho from being exuberant to being quiet, always coming home very very hungry as if he has not eaten as mentioned by Mamang, the broken pencils and way of Cho’s delivering his reason which i found too shallow……then now bruises and too tired to even talk to Nanay about anything is always a lot of indication that something is not right with Cho. I do not get the drastic change really considering that Cho is supposedly a happy child full of life and always up front with what he thinks.
Anyway, wait for tomorrow’s episode….. meanwhile Ehman will join the slumber party?????? What will Sir Chief say?

This is Maya’s first romantic relationship and as we all know and have experienced, first love can be intense. She is raw, unfiltered and she wants to do everything that a “boyfriend and girlfriend” would normally do. It is also her chance to experience the joys of life. Since she arrived in Manila, she has been occupied and focused on achieving her dream of becoming an FA, that she did not have any time for social activities. Now that she has the time and money, she wants to live it up, but she has to consider SC’s interests and feelings as well.
She is seeing herself through SC’s eyes, and wants to be the best gf in town! Maya he loves you for who you are and what you are actually doing is infinitely less than the fact that you are with him, supporting him and making him smile. And the ILY’s…try the push/pull technique. Pull back a little on saying ILY, and he’ll start wondering why you have not said it, and he will initiate the ILY and you can have your turn at the “too.”
“You Are My Last Romance”
SC has been the most sought out eligible bachelor in town. In the beginning of the show, Stephanie pursued him endlessly, but she is no match to the charm of his “last romance” Maya. Like Maya told SC…”hindi naman sya kagandahan, sexy lang sya.” (confident si Maya). Although SC’s preference of activity for their “monthsary” date is different than Maya’s, he gives in because of his love for her. Here you can see the age gap between them. Maya so much younger than he is, wants to explore the world with her love. SC on the other hand has “done that, been there.” And with the stress of running a big company and dealing with the corporate world, he would rather just retreat to a quiet time with his Mahal na Princessa. But being the considerate boyfriend that he is, he gives in to Maya’s request to go see a romantic movie (napa chick flick si SC). But Nikki saves the day for him. SC for all we know nag conspire kayo ni Nikki para hindi matuloy yung movie. LOL!!! Gusto mo lang mag slumber party kayong lahat. Yay!!! Can’t wait for tomorrow’s episode. It’s party time!!!!!!!

Nikki takes the plate of cookies back from Luke and gives them only 2 pieces to eat ha ha. She receives a message from Megan that she is unable to come to the slumber party (bakit ang late mo naman Megan. Dapat this morning pa sinabi mo na. Poor Nikki.) Manang Fe calls up Maya to tell her to please tell Richard that Nikki’s friends are not coming to the slumber party. In the meantime, Nicolo spearheads bothering Nikki while Luke and another friend goes along with it. (Hoy Nicolo ang bugoy mo talaga.) Manang Fe said Nikki is crying over this. Maya suggests to Ser Chief to pick up Nikki and Abby to the movies with them. It appears, they ended up just staying at the mansion for the night. Somehow, Maya got to talking to Ehman about a movie (maybe a dvd) My Girlfriend’s Engagement? Nikki got excited and asked Ehman to come to the house. Nikki said she could have her slumber party after all. Maya reminds her…someone has to tell her Dad. Who’s it gonna be?
Weeee! Me thinks this is a segueway to Richard and Maya’s engagement. Abby will get the idea from the movie and then ask Richard when he was going to do it. Me thinks too that if Richard were to ask Maya, he will do it when his parents are in town. Weeeeeeeeeeee! They will go to San Nicolas and do the traditional asking for Maya’s hand and maybe it might happen at the Most Romantic Place….Weeeeee! Excited na me.
NicNik moments! I love how they tease each other to the point na magka pikonan na and super confused na si Nikki Grace Lim about what she feels for Nicolo Angelo Cortez… teens! First love! exciting talaga.
