There are things in life that, we normally take for granted… like assuming that everyone knows how to behave, what to do, and what not to do while visiting someone’s home. When we invite or are being invited for a meal like lunch or dinner by family, friends or the like, we normally expect to have pleasant conversations that will surely enhance the dining experience. There are topics that should be left at the door so as not to upset someone’s appetite by saying inappropriate words that are and be offending.

The lunch invitation by DE and DR initially had been a cordial one with pleasantries and proper decorum observed. DE had been a gracious hostess and NT and Mamang grateful for the invitation. Everything was in order … until the two matriarchs opened their mouths and started their tirade exchanging words poking at each other in a very childish fashion. While the two matriarchs kept badgering one another, the civil DR and NT found themselves at the center of the two and had to set aside their differences and tried their hardest to pacify or make the situation much bearable for everyone’s sake. Looking after DE and Mamang, they literally forgot that just a day prior, they too were exchanging disapproving looks and negative feelings and yet now they opted to set aside their differences to join forces to appease the heating arguments brewing between their loved ones, DE and Mamang, all for the sake of the grace they were sharing and more importantly for the two beautiful people that they all loved and cherished of whom were put at the center of all this conflict and chaos that they have inadvertently created.

As the two matriarchs tried outdoing each other, outshining one another, both ended up not eating properly and remaining famished and both ended up eating lunch again away from the prying eyes of each other. In the end, both pretending to be somebody other than they truly were… putting their perceived best foot forward setting aside what they truly were and who they truly were.

If we are to pick a lesson or two in this scenario is that, when having a lunch or dinner with not so familiar guests, it’s always good to let the spirit of friendship be our guide in dealing with guests. It will always be nice to act cordially, gracefully and with utmost respect. And if conversations will be part of the lunch or dinner, may we always try to keep the discussion pleasant… something lighthearted… not too controversial and leave the debate or arguments outside the door and we are not sure of the each other’s tolerance, may we don’t bring anything that might cause someone’s stomach to tighten.

In all the chaos brought about by two families meeting and hoping to warm up with one another for the sake of the two people that brought them all together, may they eventually set aside their differences, their idiosyncrasies’ for their loved ones that’s at the center of these two families. May the love that brought the two individuals resonate to their families and may they join the couple in looking together in the same direction, forwarding looking to a harmonious relationship not only between the couple but between the two families that will forever be connected whether they like it or not.

Sharing with everyone some a list of safe, pleasant topics that can probably be the discussion point in situations like what we’ve witnessed between the Lims and Dela Rosas lunch encounter:

• Food – It is always a good idea to discuss something we like about the food we are eating. The host or hostess will be flattered, and if everyone else is eating the same meal, they can add their thoughts. We can probably add an anecdote about similar food or ask for the recipe.
• Fashion – A nice compliment will endear us to others so let’s find something pleasant to say about someone’s outfit, jewelry, or hairstyle. We might learn some fashion tips if we give the other person that chance to respond.
• Music – Most people enjoy some type of music, so that can be a safe topic at the table. We can share thoughts about our favorite entertainers, composers and probably share about a concert or symphony that may be particularly enjoyable.

Winnie R OntiverosOur story today continues with Nikki, Luke and Abby in the car on the way to school. Nikki was checking out Amiel on her FB page. Luke asked her if he is Mallows and Nikki explained to him that he is a transferee and she had to accept his FB request in favor of West Teatro. Luke reminds Nikki of their meeting this afternoon and casually mentioned that Nicolo and him invited a couple of Music & Sounds senior members to help them. She said no problem.

At the airport the beautiful FA’s are walking the hallway and talking to Edz. Maya tells her to stop her crying now. Why? Edz asked, is it because of her make up? Maya said it is just wasted effort. She tells her it’s ok to cry once or even twice. But if she cries for the third time that is over acting. It’s wasted tears and she could still save it for another person. It made Edz chuckle and the others laugh. Maya continues to make her feel better by saying she doesn’t want to cry for they sound like they are mourning over Edward who is still alive. Everyone laughs. The other FA mentions that the “Singing Pilots” have a gig tonight. The girls all decided to go except for Maya and in unison they all said she couldn’t come because “I have to go out with Ser Chief tonight.” Ha ha (These girls are so cute. They are all being silly and crazy but still with poise. I admire them. I could see where Maya had transformed herself from a silly, giggly, loud Maya as in the beginning of the series and now. It made her character so true to life.)

At the hospital, Mamang’s lab tests are over. She complains about how expensive it is and she is hungry. Simon asked if they want to have merienda (snacks) before he takes them to Richard’s? Nanay T reminded Mamang that Dona E prepared lunch for them. Mamang had no choice but to wait.

At PUS, Nicolo talks to Luke about the meeting they are having this afternoon with their teams for the music video. Luke tells him to stop talking about that and focus on their exam waving a book on his face. Nicolo tells him he’s done studying and he feels he is going to ace that exam. Luke said he is mayabang (boastful). At this time, Ange and Cheska walk by. They say hello to one another. Ange confirms their meeting this afternoon to Luke and he said yes and thank you for helping them. Ange invites Luke to have fishballs (Oh my gooseneck this woman does not know how to eat anything else but the dang fishballs. And there is no inkling that she is Mang Greg’s daughter who is the scholar of the school. But maybe she is embarrassed to admit because of peer pressure? Whatever…I am not losing hope that there is a story angle about this later. You know these writers they are clever.)

At the NHHS, Nikki was having a meeting with the West Teatro group. They talk about the 21 new members until Amiel shows up and yells, 22 to add his self. Nikki introduces him to the rest of the members and then reminds them to keep posted for meeting announcements because they are going to start casting for their new play. Everyone was dismissed. Stacey asked Nikki if she is joining them at the mall this afternoon. Nikki said she is going to the University for Nicolo and Luke’s music video meeting. Stacey wonders why she is helping them and Nikki tells her its because she doesn’t want the boys to ask help from those “maarte” (superficial) college girls. Amiel eaves drop at their conversation (Hmmmm…Amiel to me does not have a strong arrive {“dating”}. I do not see what the casting director sees in him.)

Super funny at aliw ng episode today.

Hot WasabiTHE OPEN SECRET

A secret is information that is concealed and closely guarded by its initiator and a privileged few from other people’s knowledge. These privileged few are usually prequalified individuals who can absolutely be trusted to keep confidential information. However, it stops being a secret when someone outside of that inner sanctum gets a whiff of it. And that is exactly what happens in this episode. Although Emman unknowingly spilt the beans by declaring the identity of the mysterious woman that Richard had an appointment with, he is not really to blame for ruining Richard’s surprise secret for Maya. A series of unfortunate events contributed to the unraveling of this most important secret that led to this eventuality.

Richard initially tells his father and Nanay Teresita of his plans to propose to Maya. It is basic courtesy for a man to ask for the future bride’s hand in marriage from her parents, after all. Out of respect for his own, Richard also tells his Dad about his intentions. He extends this initial privileged circle to include his children because he feels it is an important decision that they need to be privy to. He wants to keep the integrity that he momentarily lost when he opted to keep them in the dark regarding his relationship with Maya. He witnesses firsthand how hurt Luke and Nikki felt when they discovered that their father kept a secret from them. They prefer to be told instead of uncovering it after the fact. Hence, following the concept of keeping successful secrets, Richard, the initiator of the privileged information tells five people his secret. He trusts that these five will keep the information in confidence. But we know that two of the five, violated the vow to be silent.

Don Roberto and Nanay Teresita share Richard’s secret with Dona Esmeralda and Mamang, respectively. With the latter two seemingly locked in a fierce game to outdo each other, the former are left no other alternative but to appeal to the latter’s sensibilities to keep the focus from themselves and direct their attention outwards. To effectively put a stop to their trivial verbal squabble over petty matters, Don Roberto and Nanay T voluntarily share with the bickering matriarch’s Richard’s secret proposal plan. And it works. The two immediately retract their fangs and cease their silly arguments.

However, in her excitement, Dona Esmeralda is unable to keep the secret to herself. Such great news seems to easily grow wings and fly on their own. So, inspite of herself, she shares the supposed secret with Manang Fe. In the process, she is overheard by Sabel and Doris. Thus, the secret’s inner circle has just been unintentionally broken into without Richard’s knowledge. It is now out of his control.

With more people having knowledge of the secret, there is a good possibility that its security will be compromised. Sabel’s eagerness to goad Maya to confess the progress into the latter’s romantic life, she voluntarily discloses Richard’s late arrival home the night before. Maya’s curiosity is effectively piqued because Richard led her to believe that he was going straight home sooner than Sabel’s account. Maya’s mind is presently going on overdrive. She actually entertains the possibility that Richard is keeping a shocking secret from her. What with the most recent tragic breakup between Edward and Edzeline still fresh in her mind, she could not shake off being fearful that something is going on behind her back, as well. Consequently when Maya sees Richard with an attractive woman, who obviously does not look like Atty Ryan, the appointment he claimed he had when he cancelled their date, she is visibly upset.

Indeed, Richard has a secret from Maya. However, it is not one that should harbor any fear in her heart. It is in fact the secret to a romantic progression to her love story with her handsome and loving beau. When the secret is finally revealed, she will essentially be catapulted to an ethereal existence for quite a long while. Doubtlessly, she will definitely be transported to Cloud Nine when she finds out what Richard is actually up to.

Magkaka apo tayo uli pag nag asawa na si Maya-mamang…at kinilig ako sobra sa dialogue ni mamang.

My thoughts regarding today’s epi:

-Laughtrip talaga ang battle of the heavyweights!!! Pati sa prutas competing pa rin. I’m sure we’ll see more of those hiritans-lighter and kuwela version when they become official in-laws.

-I love DR and NT playing as referees.

-May contest ba ang mga characters na pa-wagasan ng tili sa pagkakaalam ng proposal? Sinong panalo?

-Nikki Grace Lim- Ikaw ang magbubuking sa sarili mo nyan e. May minana ka rin pala kay Maya.

-Ricky Boy, sana kasi sinabi mo na lang na business partner ang ka-meeting mo. Ginamit mo pang lusot si Atty. Ryan. Ayan tuloy, na-SOCO ka ng future wifey mo! (Pero may 10 pogi points ka sa kin kasi you said ‘I love you’ first)

– At… Emman! Emman! Emman! Ang pambansang panira ng moment! Ngayong alam na ni Maya, hindi kaya joint forces na ang lahat para maisagawa na ang proposal? How will it be memorable e di na sya surprise? Hmmm, is Ricardo the one who will be in for a big surprise? Baka good-timin sya ni Mayabels. (Ang galing ng writers! I never expected this twist!)

Winnie R OntiverosWaaaa Sis i am still a bit disappointed that Ehman had to tell Maya and maybe just to appease her because she is already feeling bad about seeing Richard with another woman. I do not understand why Richard could not email, fax or send the specifications via messenger. Why does he have to meet with that woman in the middle of the night. Boooooo! Ha ha i am so dang jealous for Maya. I didn’t like how it looked when he was helping her to her chair and all. I know i know she is the jeweler and there is nothing going on but i am still jealous ha ha….ako kasi si Maya sa isip ko…ay lukaret ha ha

Kaloka ka Emman! Spoiled na ang surprise. At tama kayo mga gehls… tayong mga adik ang nasurprise.

Si SC naman nag name drop Atty Ryan sana kinonchaba na nya lang at pinapunta nya rin sa venue. Pero good boy nga si SC… sinabi nyang venue ng tunay. Yung nga lang… buking tuloy. Well di rin nya ineexpect si Maya na magdududa.

Hot WasabiM&Ms,
This is my suggestion to the Creative Team on how to design Richard’s proposal to Maya. Richard can employ the help of Nikki’s West Teatro group and Luke’s Sounds and Music group to pull it off. At the same time, he can ask Emman to organize Maya’s co-workers to show up at the venue. I think it would be such a hoot.

Please watch this you tube video that was done by Jamin’s Downtown Disney Flashmob Proposal using the music “I Wanna Marry You.” He proposed to his Filipina girlfriend. It is so cool. She was totally surprised.

One of the possible major positive effects of Emman’s spoiler about the proposal is mahahanda si Maya to say YES to the proposal. Sana nga… If this will be the case, I would thank Emman.

By the way, I saw some BTS pics sa BCWMH FB. SC and Maya are in a restaurant. Given this, mukhang di naman talaga mahaba ang jellybeans saga (‘Thanks’ to Emman!)..

Winnie R OntiverosAt the mansion, DE and DR welcome Mamang and NT at the door for their lunch date. They make nice nice to one another. I give one point for DE for she really is reaching out to them. (DE almost called Mamang Esmeralda ha ha ooooppps!) Mamang acted a little snooty. At the lunch table, DE brags about having the lunch menu specially prepared for Mamang and NT. During their small talk, DE tell them that she has been diagnosed with HBP as well. At the beginning, her MD placed her on a strict all veggies diet. NT thanks her for her concern over Mamang’s condition. She insinuates in her reply that this condition attacks elderly people. (oopppsss!) This doesn’t sit too well with Mamang so she rebuts her and said that she isn’t old yet. Mamang said that maybe she is referring to herself. DE admits she is older than Mamang but she said that she does not look like it. In fact she looks like she is just the same age as Mamang. (Uh oh!) DR and NT got tensed over the conversation so he urges everyone to eat. NT seconded that motion and started to hand out the bowl of rice. She tried to ask Mamang to eat but she refuses. DE brings out her vitamins and shows Mamang the fat burner pills. She said it is for weight loss. This, once more, does not sit well with Mamang. She asks DE if she is insinuating that she is overweight? (Oh my my my…the subject of weight is a very sensitive matter so this is going downhill if you ask me.) DE hesitantly tells her “a little” with a finger gesture. NT puts her hand on Mamang’s lap and squeezes it to signal control. Mamang refuses to take the fat burner vitamins. She tells DE while looking her up and down that she does not think those pills are effective. (Uh oh…now it’s DE’s turn.) DE asked Mamang if she means that she is overweight? Mamang said, “maybe just a little” with her finger gesture. (Kaboom! Ha ha). DR had to interject and tells the group that life is short so they shouldn’t worry about it. He encourages everyone to eat all they want to eat. DE and Mamang were both unamused. DE said she will just eat fruits and Mamang said the same thing. They both reach over and stick their forks at the same slice of orange. (Bwahaha I laughed so hard at this scene. And the music makes it so hecka funny!)

Richard is busy at work when Liza came in the conference room to tell him that Consuelo Abueg called and wants to meet with him tonight. Liza explained that she is leaving to Europe in the morning and would like to really have his specifications before she left. (Hmmm, me thinks Richard could email her the specs and talk about it over the phone? No need to meet. I mean we are in the 20th century. No excuses.) Richard had not choice.

Meanwhile, Maya arrives home from work. She was surprised to see Mamang eating. NT tells her that it is because Mamang only ate fruits for lunch. Maya wondered if it is because of her lab tests? NT chuckles and tells Maya Mamang is jealous of DE that is why she is dieting. Maya tells Mamang not to worry because she is in fact the sexiest grandmother ever. Mamang knows Maya is just encouraging her but she is grateful just the same.

Laugh trip ako kay Donya Esmeralda na trying her best na wag sabibin kay manang Fe about the proposal. Nagtitimpi na nang gigigil kung sasabihin o hindi kay manang Fe sa plano ni Ricky.

Sukiyaki 616Hot Wasabi, right you are, an open secret! Gosh, the mouths of Dona Esmeralda and Isabel are as big as their waistlines. It was funny though that from out of the blue Doris and Sabel jumped out screaming. Very disappointing but it is very intriguing what the writers have in store for us again. Once again, you do not disappoint with your edition, HW.

Di kaya sa ibang paraan mag-comeback ang reign ng pagiging Ms. Assumera ni Maya Dela Rosa and hindi sa jellybeans moments like what we were thinking?

Iniisip ko kasi na if she already knows about the proposal, konting galaw ni SC iisipin nya na para dito yun. Yung parang pagiging assumera nya before nung crush palang nya si SC?! Kilig much naman kung ganun!!!

If ganito, sana may mga scenes na hahayaan nya si SC to have more time to do his own thing kasi isip nya paghahandaan yung surprise for her. O kaya naman, iisipin nya na kada labas nila na “This is the moment.” Tapos, hopia pala sya.

Para medyo surprise pa rin and memorable pag totoong proposal na. And medyo I miss the scenes na parang may thrill si Maya sa pagiging hibang nya kay SC. I miss her ‘patay na patay’ kay Ser Chief moments. That’s what we loved about the show nung una.

The way the two screamed silently reminds of how do the same when we laugh or scream so loud in the middle of night. We suppress our scream or laughter in deference to our housemates. ha ha ha. I thought this was the funniest scene in the entire episode.

Yes the invisible smoke signal works. ha ha ha. Let us see how Richard is going to remedy the situation. I think babawiin na lang niya ang proposal in the way that he will do it. Yun ang aabangan nating lahat!!!

Actually ganito yang reaksyon kay Emman eh, at first masarap talaga siyang balatan ng buhay at mukhang hindi mo siya mapapatawad pero kapag naprocess mo na at naisip na ang possible scenes, those ‘kunwari-hindi-alam-ni-Maya-ang-proposal scenes (which will be soooo hilarious!!! )Okay ka na! At yun nga, mapapa BOW ka rin sa mga writers talaga kasi it is, still is your not typical teleserye!

Evangeline TasipitKabsat H-wasabi, you are absolutely right its an open secret …. But its a good one . I don’t know if I will blame Ser Chief because he shouldn’t told to anybody yet, well he can tell to Manang Fe because she can 100% sure keep secrets but the others no …. But because its Ser Chief I will not blame him.

Since nabuking ang planong proposal, bet ko ang mga hula ng mga adiks na it would be na si SC ang ma surprise sa proposal na magaganap. Maya might say NO muna pampa-KABA kay SC hahaha.

Or since alam na ng lahat ang planong proposal, Maya might make kuntsaba the whole gang, except for SC. And SC also doing his plans with the whole gang, except for Maya.

But Lim and De LaRosa Family plus the others will plan out the proposal surprising both Maya and SC! Walang kamalay malay ang lovers na walang masusunod sa mga plans nila bwahahha! Will turn out na Lim at DLRosa family will do the proposal to both of them instead….That would be hilarious!

Nothing’s impossible sa mga BCWMH writers! Ang saya saya lang!

Winnie R OntiverosAt Chefjess, the Luke and Nicolo meet with Cheska, Ange and Joey when Nikki arrives to join them. Luke introduces her to the group. He said they are the M & S senior members that are going to help them with the music video. He said Ange is on Team Luke and Cheska on Team Nicolo. Niknik is not amused. She reacts to Cheska on Nicolo’s team probably remembering her name as mentioned by the two before. She makes an announcement that she is bowing out on Team Nicolo using the excuse that she is too busy with West Teatro. Joey somehow understands but Nicolo tried to stop her. He said he is going to lose a partner. Nikki looks at Cheska and said that all is well since he’s got a senior member of the M & S on his team. She deemed her more qualified to help Nicolo. She storms out. Nicolo was saddened and Luke followed her outside. He asks Nikki what that was all about? Nikki explained to him that she only stopped by to tell them she’s out. She only wanted to personally tell them that. Luke was confused. Nikki forces a smile to cover up what she really feels. (Oh my G Nicolo you are so in trouble. You need to just stop looking at other girls and flunk all your subjects so you could stay at the university long enough to wait for Nikki. Only two years and she will be there. Geese. Drop that Cheska. She is not the right one for you.)

Back at the mansion, Richard was having a snack with his parents. DR was having coffee but DE was having an entire meal. Richard asked her how their lunch went? DE tells Richard all is well and it was fun. Richard wondered why she is eating again? DR tells Richard that she just ate fruits for lunch because she was envious of Mamang and started a diet. DE denies and said that she is just being polite because Mamang is not allowed to eat a lot so she didn’t either. Thanks Ma said Richard. (ok you got a good excuse DE)

On the phone, Mamang tells Kute what happened at lunch. Kute was telling her that it is embarrassing to Richard. NT listens in to their conversation. Kute encourages Mamang to be civil to the Lims. Mamang said she thinks they are just not “clicking”. NT tells her that she needs to “click” with DE. At the mansion, DR asks DE why she didn’t tell Richard the truth about her and Mamang. DE said that she is going to be patient and just let it go since it will only be every once in a while. DR tells her she better gets used to it. Mamang asks why is it important that she gets along with DE? She isn’t going to see her often anyway? NT then tells her Richard is about to propose to Maya. DE asks DR why does she need to get used to dealing with Mamang? DR tells her that if she didn’t she might ruin everything. Richard is about to propose to Maya. Both matriarchs were dumbfounded! (Surprise! Ha ha I can’t wait to see how you two become bestest buddies after this. Ha ha) Waaaaaa! They both jump for joy! Yeay! Said Dona Esmeralda….she asks what are Richard’s plans and if he already has a ring? Mamang asked NT how Richard is going to propose? Did he say when? DR said he doesn’t know about his plans or a ring yet. NT tells Manang she doesn’t know the details yet because Richard has not told her. DE said this is the best day ever and nothing is going to spoil it for her. Mamang is so excited thinking of more grandchildren when Maya and Richard get married. They are both so giddy about the thought. (I am joining both of them in the joy and excitement. I can’t wait to see the proposal.)

Must watched the episode today.I guess nasabi ni Emman yung proposal kasi nagduda na si Maya na merong ibang girl based na rin sa sinabi ni Sabel & Doris na gabi midnight na umuwi so sinundan since hindi pwede si SC sa dinner + the fact na nagsinungaling si SC na si Ryan ang ma-meeting then nakita nila na girl pala. Sa excitement at nakita pa sa magazine yung girl so di napigilan ni Emman.

Excited to see yung buong reaction at sasabihin ni Maya sa sinabi ni Emman at kung pano nya haharapin at pano sya magri-react pag nagkita sila ni SC.

Bet ko na hindi sila nakita ni SC sa resto.

Winnie R OntiverosRichard and Maya talk on the phone. Maya is so happy that it seems the two families are getting along well. Richard is too. Maya thought of celebrating tonight. Dinner? She asked. Richard tells her he isn’t going to be able to see her tonight. He makes up an excuse that he is going to meet Atty Ryan to go over the last minute changes on the contract with Singapore Lines Express. (Uh oh Richard…Lightning might strike you ha ha) Maya was disappointed but tried to understand, after all it’s all about work. (No Maya it’s all about you and your engagement ring)

At the mansion, DE is so excited over the news. (This is the funniest part of this episode. I was ROFL) She walks in the kitchen where Manang Fe is chopping up veggies for the next meal. She could hardly contain her excitement and at first she tells Manang Fe that she could not tell her. Then she thought that since this is Manang Fe and she is one of the most trusted people in the household. She knew she wouldn’t tell if push comes to shove so she excitedly tells her that Richard is going to propose to Maya. Manang Fe and her scream and jump for joy. DE claps and waits for a high 10 from Mamang Fe but Manang Fe is older than dirt and didn’t get it. She just keeps jazz hands apart and jumps up and down. But the screaming is twice as loud because the screen pans out to…tada!!!!… Dorbel!… They were jumping up and down and screaming just as loud. It seems they overheard the two. They too were screaming for joy. DE tells them to hush because it is supposed to be a secret. Dorbel promised they will keep it a secret so they act like they are screaming but with no sound. (Bwahaha this is exactly how I look like when I am hidden in the closet and watching the kilig moments of this show…screaming out without a sound ha ha I so love this part)

At the grocery store, Maya and Ehman shop for fruits. Ehman asks Maya why she has twice as many fruits? She tells him that she is giving the other basket to the Senior Lims for a warm welcome to NT and Mamang. He is happy for his roommate. Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Nikki arrives home. She is so upset at Mallows. She isn’t in a good mood. She again self talks and reminds herself that she is going to evade Nicolo once and for all. Dorbel sees her at the foyer. With their excitement, they greeted her. She didn’t respond to them and stormed upstairs. The bell rings, Dorbel checks the door? It’s Maya and Ehman stopping by to drop off the basket of fruits. They have the cab waiting so they didn’t go inside the house. Dorbel happened to mention to Maya that Richard came home late last night and they thought he came from Maya’s house. (Uh oh!) This left Maya wondering where Richard would have gone last night? She remembers him saying he is tired because they had a lot to do at work all day. Hmmm think think think Maya!

At the Lims, DE, Manang Fe, Luke, Nikki, Abby and Dorbel were huddled up at the dining table looking at bridal magazines. Nikki was talking about the different ways that people propose that seemed popular. She talked about people proposing in front of a big crowd where it could be recorded and shared easily with others. Don Roberto reminded Dona Esmeralda that she wasn’t supposed to tell anyone about Richard’s plans. She tells Don R that she didn’t mean it. He reminded that proposals are supposed to be between two people only. Dona E nods. At the mall, Ehman and Maya continue to talk about Richard and what he seems to be hiding from Maya until Ehman spots Richard and Ms Abueg walking. He quickly pulls Maya to hide behind the Sale banner. They watch Richard help Ms Abueg to a chair. (Oh my G this doesn’t look good although we know what its all about, just the scene does not look good. Even I got jealous. I don’t want to see Richard walk or talk with anyone but Maya ha ha) At the condo, Ehman tells Mamang and NT what they saw at the mall. NT couldn’t believe her ears. Mamang then mentioned that maybe that woman is someone Richard is talking to regarding the wedding. Wedding? Ehman asked. Then Ehman must have done some investigating because he tells them that Ms Abueg is the best engagement ring maker in town. He puts two and two together and tells Maya that Richard is going to propose to her…Waaaaaa! I scream!

Ang perfect kasi eh, gusto ko yung medyo may LQ, selos mode si Maya, nagpapakyut si SC, ang spontaneous ng galaw (read: parang hindi inaarte! ) may tunog yung kiss! Ah bashtaaaaaaaaa!

Hinahabol habol ni Ricardo ang labi ni Mayabels tapos tapos si Maya ano ba di ba dapat ayaw niya, bakit siya nakanguso? Medyo di makausad.

1. The school that Nikki attends is called NMHS, North Hills Montessori High School.
Observation?
1. The verbal ping pong between the two matriarch is a fun one. The creative writers must have had a great time writing their lines. ha ha ha
2. I kinda like Amiel showing his interest in Nikki. I want Nikki to appreciate him. They are both in high school which is more appropriate as they are almost close in age. Unlike Nicolo, he is in college and he is wishy washy with his feelings for Nikki. Nikki is the only one showing her interest in him. I would rather her be chased than for her to do the chasing.
That is just my take.

Hahaha! pero muntik na akong kinabahan kina DE and Mamang ha! pano kaya sila kung maging magbest friends naman sila? sana maging ganun para everybody happy!!

a saint so i cannot hide my displeasure with mamang behavior or lack of it.

donya esmeralda was kind enough to invite them again to amend what had happened
before. because they were guests in the house. the guests should be aware to act in the
manner that would be more or less pleasing to the hosts. and also vice versa.
mamang behaved like a brat and small kid. no matter what, donya esmeralda was very
patience in condoning her behavior
one thing i don’t understand is why the de la rosa family like manang theresa cannot even
scold her mother for unsocial behavior even though the lim family are doing what they can
to be a good host in the their own house. is this the typical behavior we have inherited from
spanish? i believe so because i have seen a lot of these people around. too much pre madonna.

another major major disappointment.
what is left to the surprise now for maya. everything is divulge big time. even their
lost parrots kirikit at si kirikat know about it. the writers must have some kind of better
ideas that are coming because they would never do this for nothing.

I want to see Maya enjoying her life outside her relationship with SC. Right now her world revolves around work and SC, but it would be nice for her to also have a life with her friends and enjoy just “hanging” out. A healthy relationship is that the parties be able to still maintain other friends outside the relationship. Maintaining close friends is important because it helps a person remain rooted in who they are. It provides balance in the relationship, by giving them some time away from each other, which makes the coming together more happier and joyful.

The greatest thing about friends is that they provide emotional and mental support for the relationship. When times are tough, they are there to lend an ear. When you need to talk, they are there. There are things that we would rather talk to our “same sex” friends than our spouse, because we know that our spouse is not on the same emotional level as we are.

There are times that we cannot be everything to each other. Having friendship (same sex) outside of a relationship can help balance that. Someone that will just listen when you need to vent, someone to do things with that your partner may not necessarily enjoying doing, like…shopping.

So Maya…the next time you get invited by your FA friends, and you have a date with SC…tell him…”Something came up.” LOL!!!! pay back time..

The kitchen scene when DE couldn’t help sharing the ‘secret’ to Manang Fe was so hilarious. But beyond the funny moments, I could really feel the love of both families for Maya and SC. What a great day, indeed! A great way to start the week. I expect The Proposal to be way more than unexpected.

Linda BernardoThe matriarchs do not see eye to eye but when both knew SC’s marriage proposal they were initially shocked. Shock mode turns into extreme excitement, nothing can spoil their day. Dona E cannot keep to herself told Manang Fe. Unfortunately, Dor- bel overheard it. It is now common knowledge at Lim’s household.

Maya is so attuned to SC so when SC said he cannot meet her for dinner she sensed something is going on. She looked worried. Maya asked many questions from SC like reason why he cannot make it, who is he with, where is the meeting. He gave SC the benefit of the doubt . Doris tries to “fish” information from Maya about the discussion on marriage proposal the night before that took SC near midnight to get home. In reality Maya and SC parted ways at 8:45pm. This concern makes Maya and Emman to be at a place where Ms. Abueg and SC are to meet.

SC is up into something she cannot put her finger. But Maya, have faith on SC, it has something to do with what will be put on your finger.

The secret about a marriage proposal is now out even to the person at the receiving end. Emman told Maya the lady they saw is a jeweler and is the best engagement ring designer/ maker in town. Oh what a spoiler.

SC is now in for a surprise. The cat is now out of the bag. How he will deal with the proposal? That is something we all have to wait and see. The element of surprise is now gone.

Moral lesson: A secret is no longer a secret when another person knows about it.

So, tomorrow’s episode will tackle the question of who Richard had a meeting with……..and the Lim household talking about “the proposal” without Richard’s knowledge that the whole gang knows about it already. How will Sir Chief handle and contain it kaya?

Nikki denied that Amiel was Mallows…….but she is not alright as she told Luke that she was just okay……I would hope that this time there will not be any consequence because of your current state of mind – inis nanaman kay Nicolo.

Maya’s advice to Edz to stop thinking about Edward is just right……and Edz’ being amenable to attending the gig of a Capt. Peralta is also alright. I am hoping that Maya will somehow remember Simon’s statement about seeing something at the airport and connects the dots……

Jo EI wonder what the creative team is cooking to make The Proposal memorable and interesting now that the element of surprise for Maya is gone. Ser Chief will be the one who will be surprised. Everybody in the Lim and delaRosa, (except for Kute and Cho) family know. I think it’s better that Maya knows that Ser Chief is meeting the jeweler to procure her engagement ring, than her wondering who the woman is with Ser Chief. At least she will not have feelings of insecurity and hurt, in the light of just what happened to Edz. Even if Maya trusts Ser Chief, there is still that feeling of anxiety and uneasiness, until she hears from him that he acknowledges meeting with the woman for whatever reason.
I am so looking forward for The Proposal.

Another wishful thinking that allow me to share…in one of TFC chats with Jodi and Richard , the latter mentioned something like he wishes to do a movie like Somewhere In Time, that was a movie from the mid 80’s and indeed a romantic one , sana after BCWMH e makagawa sila ng ganyang movie. Tapos diretso na ako sa ospital dahil for sure i would ran out of breath sa kiligness.For a man like Richard Yap to mention that movie e it only confirms that he is also romantic.

Talagang sinadya ni Maya yung place na sinabi ni SC kung saan ang meeting at di nga nagkamali dumating si SC with girl at nakita ni Emman at Maya.

Sabi ni Emman kakalbuhin daw nya yung girl hahaha!

Ayun umuwi silang inis ang Maya at nahalata ni NT na may kaganapan.
Ask ni Ms. Abueg si SC to describe Maya to help SC for the modifications ng ring para naayon sa personality ni Maya.

Ang sweet lang ng mga descriptions ni SC kay Maya! Sweet, caring, sentimental etc di ko masabi sakto pagkakasunod basta ganun hahah!

Then after nila usap sabi ni SC na kung ok lang n di na sya samahan sa parking kasi bibili pa ata ng desserts for Maya.

Then ask nya si SC kung is it different daw ba compared sa 1st time na nagpakasal sya…non verbatim ito ha.

At hindi ko na syado naintindihan basta sabi nya the feeling ng kaba is still there.

Tumawag ang receptionist at nsa condo si SC. Talagang atat na si Maya na harapin si SC…sinalubong talaga sa pinto with Mamang, NT at Emman na kinakabahan.

Cristy SantosMinsan hindi talaga nagbu-bunga ng maganda yung pagka “chismosa” ng mga tao, tulad ng ginawa nila Sabel and Doris. Nagka idea tuloy sila Maya and Emman na mag “spy” kay Sir Chief. Iniwan si SC at Maya at pumasok yung 3 sa room.

Hindi rin talagang na confront ni Maya si SC at pinanindigan ni SC na si Ryan ang ka meeting nya. Mukhang di naman ganun kagalit si Maya kasi nangiti nga nung nakawan ng halik ni SC…kung ano yung nasa teaser yun ang pinakita.

Pinakita rin pala ni Emman kay NT at Mamang yung girl sa magazine pero hindi naman sinabi ni NT na tungkol sa proposal ang meeting. Mukhang later pa sasabihin after mag usap sina Maya at SC.

Nag uusap Luke and Nikki di raw nila inakala na darating ang time na mag aasawa uli dad nila na kailangan daw ng dad nila ng katuwang sa buhay.

Winnie R OntiverosMaya stands outside the gate of the mansion thinking about what Doris said that Richard came home at midnight last night. They thought he came from her house. She is suspicious because Richard left before 9 PM last night claiming he is tired from working all day. Maya was thinking out loud about Richard suddenly canceling their dinner date tonight to apparently meet with Atty. Ryan at the Moons Brew and Pastries. Ehman sounded off and said that place is good. Maya said she heard they have good dessert. She and Ehman decided to stop by and check out the place. (Uh oh…Maya is going to do her Ninja move.)

Nanay Teresita calls up Kute to tell her about Richard’s plan to propose. (Uh oh, everyone knows now including the San Nicolas folks. I could see Bugoy eaves dropping in the background and Leno as well. I am sure the news will spread like wildfire, and in no time, to the entire town.) She was excited about it. She wants to plan something in San Nicolas for the engagement. She told NT and Mamang that she expects Richard to come and ask for Maya’s hand in marriage formally in San Nicolas. Nanay Teresita agreed. Kute wants to plan for it in the event Maya says yes. Mamang said that she is sure Maya is going to accept the proposal. Kute started to worry because she said Maya has high expectations when it comes to proposals. (Don’t you worry Kute, Richard will figure something out that is going to make Maya feel like your mother when your father proposed. After all, he is Ser Chief.) Mamang agreed and sarcastically said it is because she heard about Arturo (Nanay Teresita’s husband) and his proposal to NT. NT reacted to what Mamang said.

At the mansion, Nikki was going through the slide presentation she sort of put together for Nicolo’s music video. She had the words to Katharine McPhee’s Terrified and the guitar chords to it on her laptop. (This is actually one of my most favorite songs of Katharine McPhee from her latest album. (aaawww I am sad too Nikki) Luke knocks at the door and walks in. He asks Nikki her real reason why she backed out of helping Nicolo. Nikki told him that she sensed that Cheska is one of those “maarte” girls and he knows she clashes with those types of girls like Aira. Nikki said she knows that Nicolo likes Cheska and she is just trying to be cautious. She knows that sometimes even when she does not mean it, she causes trouble. She didn’t want to stand in Nicolo’s way. (Good answer Nikki I am proud of you.) Luke understands so he asked her if she wants to join him in his music video. (Luke you are such a sweet brother.) Nikki said no because it looks like Ange and Cheska are really close friends and again she doesn’t want to get in the way. She did promise her brother that she would help him practice from home. Luke said it’s a deal.

Maya and Ehman get to Moons Brew and Pastries. They sort of look around but do not find Richard or Atty. Ryan. Ehman tells her that maybe they have already came and gone. Maya admits she is feeling guilty about spying on Richard. She said Richard is a good guy and he won’t do anything bad like Edward did to Edz. Maya wanted to just hurry up and leave before Richard sees them there. When they started to leave, Ehman spotted Richard and Ms Abueg walking towards the tables. Ehman cautions Maya not to look. He pulls her toward the Sale banner and hid behind it. (Now Maya is agent 007 with her sidekick Ehman ha ha) Maya and Ehman see Richard help Ms Abueg to a chair and he sits in front of her on the small table. Ehman asks who is this woman he is with? Maya said she doesn’t know. Ehman wants to go and attack her (ha ha) but Maya pulls his Tshirt to put him back in place. They continue to spy on them. Ehman asks Maya what are they going to do? Maya said she doesn’t know. Ehman tells her what they are doing is not right and that they should leave. Maya was confused and upset but agreed to leave. (I don’t blame you Maya, I am jealous myself ha ha)

Winnie R OntiverosRichard and Ms Abueg talk about the engagement ring. She asks Richard if he already has the modification that he wants? Richard said yes but he still needs her opinion. So she asked him to describe Maya to her. Richard suddenly has this glow about him when he thought of Maya. He told her that Maya is a flight attendant. “She is very simple and would probably react if I gave her something extravagant. She is caring. She likes doing things for other people. She likes to cook for us even though she is a terrible cook.” They both laugh. Richard apologizes and wondered if that information mattered? Ms Abueg said yes it does. Richard continued. “She is playful and funny. Sweet. She can be very stubborn at times. She’s unpredictable and very sentimental. She likes keeping little things for remembrance even before we became an item.” Ms Abueg heard enough and suggested a ring that she thinks suits Maya. She shows him a picture similar to what he chose but with additional details that Maya might like. Richard smiles in agreement. (Aaawww Richard you are so sweet)

In the cab, Maya is so upset after her ninja 007 mode. She tells Ehman that last night he was in a hurry to leave and then tonight…. Maya couldn’t finish her sentence. She asks why does he need to lie? It is what bothers her the most. She said that it is making Richard look guiltier. Ehman thought the girl looks familiar. Maya said maybe she is a model (Maya you hit the nail on the head. She is indeed ha ha) Ehman said he doesn’t care. He wants to shave her head off. (ha ha watch out Ms Abueg, Ehman is out to get you for his roommie ha ha) “Why don’t you just ask him straight out?” Ehman said. Maya thought about it for a moment and then opened her purse for her phone. She was about to call him when she stopped herself. She didn’t want to act on impulse. She lets out a big sigh. Ehman asks her if she didn’t want to know? Maya said she wants him to say it in front of her and not over the phone. (I have to say, with Maya being upset like she is, I am so glad that Ehman is there to help her through this. He is her sounding board…her shoulder to cry on…Thankee Ehmmy.)

At the condo, Nanay T and Mamang talk about the proposal. Mamang wonders how Richard is going to do it? She thought of an aerial banner with a message that says “Will You Marry Me?” Then Mamang thought that Richard might propose to Maya during one of her flights. Nanay T said that Richard didn’t have to think of gimmicks to do it. It can just be simple and sincere. Mamang asked Nanay T if Arturo’s proposal to her is sincere? How is that sincere she asked? Arturo left her after all. (Wow Mamang you sure are a meanie. Rub it in why don’t you? Maybe Ehman needs to shave you bald ha ha ) At the mansion, everyone was in a frenzy. DE was in the midst of it. She is looking at a bridal catalog and showing Manang Fe the intricate lace designs that she wanted Richard to look at so he could model the ring to match it. Nikki tells her that she has ideas on how Richard should propose like what she saw on YT about this guy that proposed in front of a lot of people and there were cameras all around to record the event. (That reminds me I am still going to watch the YT link that How Wasabi posted. Pramis!) DE thought that sounded romantic but she thought Richard being conservative might not go for it. (True DE. You know your son well.) She proceeds to tell them the story of how DR proposed to her. He took her to a Chinese restaurant and at the end of dinner; he picked up the wrong fortune cookie and ended up proposing to himself. DR came to the room and realized that she has told everyone about Richard’s plan. He warned her that she was supposed to keep that a secret. (Yeah from now on I will call you Loose Lip Esmeralda.) She apologized and said she didn’t mean to and in fairness, the kids already knew. DR reminded her that a proposal is private and should only be between two people. (Ummm DR that is soooo “old school”. )

Nasagap ko sa ibon na binuking na ni Emman ang proposal tulaley ang Maya.

Then nahagip ko pa ng kaunti ang teaser, masaya si Maya pero handa na raw ba sya? kausap nya si NT.

Then tumawag si SC, mukhang ok na raw si Maya then last night. Tapos niyaya mag dinner. Smile si Maya while si NT, Mamang at Emman sa background eh kung ano ano ng scenario ang binibigay ka Maya kung saan posible nakalagay ang singsing hahaha!
Yung fourth gap… ayun nga Nikki and Luke were talking about how lucky they are kasi yung daddy nila nagfofall para sa mga right persons!

Tapos sa condo naman ni Emman… ayun tampo mode pa din si Maya kasi hindi daw umamin si Ser Chief, pinanindigan na si Atty Ryan ang kasama eh sabi nila Mamang wag daw siyang OA, tinatawanan nila si Maya. Sabi ni Emman minsan lang naman daw. Sabi ni Maya hindi daw dapat ganun kaya daw maraming babae ang naloloko eh. Tapos yun tatanungin daw nya uli si SC, ayun na… pinakita na ni Emman ang magazine at sinabing magpopropose na si SC!

Nasabi rin nila na lucky daw ang dad nila kasi he’s meeting the right people…na sana sila rin daw….pag na inlove din sila…parang ganyan ang recall ko hahaha!
Tthen parang sabi ni Nikki na di sya maiinlove ata or kung ano basta niloko sya ni Luke na…baka pag ikaw na inlove! …..di ko na gets ahhaha!

As for today’s episode, what can I say???…BCWMH keeps getting better and better!!! It’s really a game changer for all teleseryes, for contrary to the usual trend na nagsasawa na ang ibang viewers after a while, it keeps getting kiliger and kiliger, more exciting in other words. The fever is back wherein, I couldn’t wait or even sleep, hoping that I could watch already the next episode!!!

esmeralda and donya conchita. the shriek of excitement coming from maya would bring us to the times
when she was invited by sir chief for the first meeting and the balut eating to boost their appetite of love.

maya as she loves the sir chief so dearly that seeing with the legged woman would make her cry. but she did not.
she just thought of giving sir chief a coffee that even the obama would dislike. after noticing that sir chief
could not stomach the coffee, behind her mind, she was thinking: “good for him, good that it is not poison.”
there is no real data or evidence how many husbands are being poisoned because of jealousy.
my advice is “don’t drink or eat anything that your wife has given to you if she is in a jealous mood.

so far my disappointments turn to excitments, how the writers resurrect the bad episode to a better one.

i am sure my next topic would be “love and marriage” also sang by frank sinatra.

Seeing SC with another woman with her own eyes, brought mixed emotions, insecurity, anxiety and jealousy for the very first time. They say jealousy is like salt in food… a little can enhance the savor, but too much can spoil the pleasure and under certain circumstances, can be threatening to the relationship. In any relationship, there must be jealousy to symbolize love; and, there must be love symbolized by jealousy. Jealousy is important as a flavor of love, to show that we care for we won’t be jealous if we do not love, and vice versa. Healthy jealousy is normal but excessively, it can trigger illogical reasoning, paving way to ill feelings, ill thoughts creating chaos, disorder and conflicts and can very well harm any relationship. It can cause a lot of stress to both partners, anxiety and even affect the well-being let alone health. Feeling of discomfort in a relationship trickles down to difficulty in communicating and expressing each other’s feelings, thoughts, and other gamut of emotions.

Maya just needed to remind herself that she had trusted her Mahal na Hari for so long. Time and again he had proven his love to her… his loyalty… he had been an open book as far as his love for her was concerned. She should remember that many women had eyes for her SC and tried their hardest for his attention let alone his affection – Not even the likes of women in his circle could get him to look the other way- not even the sexy Stephanie, the intellect Atty. Gie, the socialite Catherine and all those girls at the Hangar Launch for SC had only eyes for one and only one, HER. And he even went beyond proving his love as he stood by her side when the going got tough, he was there comforting her, loving her more when the kids did not initially accept their relationship, he had been steadfast, he fought for his love, he fought for their relationship proving to the kids that she was the one for him and she would be the only one who will ever make him happy. He fought and he fought the hardest proving to the kids just how valuable she was and still is not only to him but most especially to them. When the situation had been settled and acceptance had been granted, he took that opportunity to announce, better yet introduced to his world… the very woman who captured his heart and with so much pride introduced her to the business loop… to the world he revolved in, to his friends, his business affiliates and his staff.

And when the going got tougher when his parents initially doubted her, there he was again at the forefront fighting the hardest… proving his parents wrong and turning them around, opening their eyes so they also see what he saw. And when it mattered the most, he humbled himself again, made himself vulnerable in front of everybody, wooing her, serenading her, doing stuff that will make her happy and yet again, conservative and valuing his privacy the most, he opened up to everyone as he humbly apologized and said his sorry for everyone to witness just how sorry he had been for hurting his most precious beloved.

And not to forget in the not so distant past how he had defended his love for her in front of those she held so close to her heart – her Nanay, Mamang and Kute. For he humbled himself in front of her family just to prove that he was worthy of her love and that he made a promise that he had kept all this time… he promised to love and cherish her… a promise of his undying love and a love that will be for keeps. He had never swayed nor deviated from that promise then, nor will he ever waver now.

She trusted him then, all the more should she trust him now. Rephrasing it, she had trusted him with all her heart then, she should have faith in him now… more than ever. And let love reign, after all love cures – both the ones who give it and the ones who receive it.

In the end, love will prevail… it will exceed even the highest of expectations. And just when it’s about to falter, it still will hold on… it may be shaken but true love never breaks… it may face rough times, yet it embraces all for that is where it gets all the strength to grow… it fights to no end, in the darkest of nights, always holding to that light of hope for we may give up on love, but love will never really give up on us. Love… takes a lot of believing… a whole lot more of trust… and that immeasurable faith.

Winnie R OntiverosWell Zel how wonderful your mind flew today. You seemed so inspired and I don’t blame you, after all the subject matter makes us all inspired. The love story of Maya and Richard. You are absolutely right about Maya should be trusting him but the sequence of events led her to have that temporary doubt in her mind after all she proved that he lied to her. Whatever his reasons were and even if she isn’t jealous, the fact that he told her two fibs and then caught him in the act is sort of hard to put off. She is also privy to the story of Edz and Edward who she trusted and not one doubt and all along he was cheating on her. Maya is but only human. Like she said why does he have to lie to her. It makes him look guilty. Her words proved she wanted to believe in him. She wants to trust him. But in the end, all is well. She is now in a happy place just waiting for that time when Richard will seal the deal and put that ring on her finger. The time is near and we are all along for the ride. How exciting it truly is.

I have been a big fan of bcwmh since the beginning.. I love reading the comments.. Very insightful.. I actually never missed an episode.. I even watched it online in between flights.. Thank god for airport wifi..

I think the parents were giving us a clues the proposal.. According to nanay Teresita, it’s going to be simple and sincere.. According to mamang, it’s going to have a written question of “will you marry me?”. According to Dona Esmeralda, it will be private.. And according to Don Roberto, the proposal will be between two persons ( and a half, maybe)..

And it’s going to happen when we least expect it..

Piloy PgeMy 6th sense told me it will be at Lim’s garden, witnessed by the SC and Maya;s family. Scenario would be Dona E would invite everybody for Zumba dance class. Then they will witness chinese lantern going up the air ( Remember during the chinese lantern episode SC realized he is falling in love to Maya) While everybody dancing the Zumba. The LIm kids would have a banner that says ” WILL YOU MARRY OUR DADDY CHIEF” Then SC will kneel infront of Maya with the ring. Music will be theme song of BCWMH. Iy will be playful, funny, sweet and unpredictable.

If I saw my boyfriend with another woman, my reaction would be to cry after the initial shock has passed. Yup, I think that’s normal to at least have a teardrop fall, not quite like Edz but along those lines. I must say Maya has nerves of steel now, the girl who used to be reactive, transparent and full of emotions has turned supernatural. No real emotions except anxiety, like her world does not revolve around SC anymore. Good for her. I doubt it doesn’t but I guess it’s true. I’m just confused how far removed her reaction is from her usual self. If it were anybody else their reaction would be exactly as I pictured it in my head. Like she did at the summit after SC accused her of flirting with her boss. Maya would have been shocked, distraught, confused, preoccupied with all the scenarios in her head, betrayed, angry, unloved, sad, very sad. And like before all she had the energy to do was to hug Emman and cry in pain. No deep effects,it’s either she was really clueless or in denial. But that’s over and one with. Now, however, I feel cheated. Is it that hard for people to keep a secret? Seriously? And should they be so casual about divulging such like talking about the weather? I’m not even concerned about the flow of the story anymore. Another deflated episode in my opinion.
I like the twist but not the acting. So unnatural except maybe for NT. I give her 2 thumbs up. Team NT ako tonight.
On the other hand, thank goodness for Ms. Abueg who is ever so stylish and poised as expected and always on point. There’s something good about every episode, I suppose.
I know my time will come when this show will just blow me away. I know it’s there somewhere. I’m still waiting.

Richard always had the upper hand on that room.. He was always sitting while maya was on her feet..

My bet would still be Abby’s room.. The only place in the house where they both let their guards down.. She is obviously not in the mood She tells them she got some fruits for them. She complained of having a headache and wanted to go to her room to rest. Nanay T could sense something was wrong so she immediately turned to Ehman to ask what happened? He didn’t answer.

At the Moons Brew and Pastries, Richard and Ms Abueg are finishing up. Richard apologizes for not walking her to her car. He said he needs to still buy some dessert. She asked if it is for Maya? Richard said yes. She then asked him if it is different this time? (Wow is it customary for a jeweler to ask customers personal questions like that? Maybe she feels like they are now bff’s because he is a friend of Raffy’s? Maybe? But I was just surprised at the question.) “About what?” Richard asked Ms Abueg. She said “About this wedding?” Richard answered truthfully. He said, “Yes. The first time around, you have no experience. You don’t know what to expect. You just plunge in but you know the feeling…the nervousness, the excitement, it is still there. It is probably because this is a different woman that I am about to marry and this will be a whole new experience. I guess the only difference is that I am more confident now that I can face everything that comes afterwards.” “She’s a lucky girl.” Ms Abueg replies. “I hope she sees it that way.” Richard said. “She will.” She said and then she shook his hand and left.

“A woman? Richard?” Nanay T asked Ehman. “Are you sure about that?” Mamang interjects and tells Ehman that maybe that woman is someone that Richard had to talk to regarding the wedding. Ehman’s eyes got big. “Wedding? What wedding?” he asked. Mamang then told Ehman about the planned proposal before Nanay Teresita could stop her. (Oh dear…another cat out of the bag.) After Ehman learns about all this, it seemed that a light bulb turned on. (Oh my pink gosh Ehman says ha ha I love when he does that.) Ehman was sure he has seen that woman before. He rushes to his magazine rack and opens the pages of one of his bridal magazines. He sees the picture and then points it out to Mamang and Nanay Teresita. They now understand what this meeting is all about. At this time, the intercom rings. The lady guard informs them that Richard is downstairs. They all got frantic and Ehman tells the lady guard to let him in. Maya comes out of the room. She heard the intercom and she asks who it was? Ehman tells her it is Richard (yikkes…Maya calm down…ha ha) She is in attack mode right now. She wants to know what is going on. She heads for the door while the three try to stop her. “Don’t over react” Nanay T said. “Calm down” Mamang and Ehman tell her. They urge her to have a conversation with Richard inside the condo. But Maya just won’t hear it. When she opens the door, Richard was already there. Carrying a box of cake. They let him in and the three made an excuse to leave them alone to talk.

Kung napakanta at napajoin ni Maya si SC sa mga games nung birthday niya (which if we think about it, was contrary to SC’s personality), anything is possible at this point!!! Pordalab na lang! All in the name of His Love for Mayabels yata ang peg ni SC!!! So am expecting something also out of the ordinary na gawin ni SC for the proposal!!!

JR RThat Maya found out about the proposal is impressive writing by the creative team. It actually deviates from the cliché “surprise proposal” on the girl. This is actually more brutal (in a funny context) for the bride-to-be not knowing the when and how of the plan. This will keep Maya to walk in eggshells every time she’s with SerChief. ..hahahaha. This gives new meaning to JSM’s song “Torete”.

Everyone and their brother will know about this proposal and will set off a feeding frenzy from the mansion to San Nicolas. All will be putting in their two-cents but I hope when proposal day comes it will come down to just the two – SerChief and Maya.

My preference is not the tabing ilog romantic place since this has been the scene for Maya’s I-Love-You, too. I’d prefer the Jones Bridge where they actually first met face-to-face. No bells and whistles required, just a simple long streamer across the span of the bridge facing the water that says” Will you marry me Maya?”. SerChief will just need to figure out a story to take her back to the bridge.

Guessing aside, watch DR’s and DE’s lines about “proposal just for 2 people” and the fortune cookie mishap. My gut feel tells me the scene is between SerChief and Maya only and it will happen in a very unexpected way dahil “iba sila”. My insides are somersaulting at the thought of this impending scene.

Linda BernardoI so love the matriarchs for their gesture to be in their best behavior and put their differences aside for the sake of their loved ones, SC and Maya. I am glad hindi na mag-gigirian ang.dalawa. Pwede na nilang putulin ang mga claw nila.

When SC told Ms. Abueg Maya’s personality, he enumerated them with so much love and pride. One thing he missed though, Maya always thinks about other’s welfare before her own. “She is one lucky girl” said Ms. Abueg. I beg to disagree. SC is the lucky one. Not everyone is given a second chance to find love such as Maya’s. I concur with Nikki, they are lucky because their dad falls in love again to the right person…so heartwarming. Love you Nikki!!!

What a sweet revenge when Maya served SC him coffee although he does not deserve it. SC tried to steal a kiss from Maya and todo iwas niya. Hindi ko get when SC said “sinabi ko na nga ba, hindi mo ako matitiis”.

Hindi ko masisisi si Mamang for teliing the secret kasi for sure mas lalala ang tampo ni Maya. Si Eman naman true to his character panira nang excitement.

Maya Is invited to dinner the next day. Team Maya thinks this is the day SC will propose. I don’t think so. The engagement ring is custom-made, it will not be ready agad agad. Also Raffi suggested to SC not to make the proposal sa restaurant.

There! Now the secret is in the open. Everyone knows the secret, even Maya does. The only one who does not know that everyone is knowledgeable of his secret is Richard himself. What a twist!

We know that Richard is going to propose to Maya. That covers the What and Who. That leaves us with the Where, When and How is Richard going to propose to Maya. Everyone weighs in. Here are some of their thoughts on this subject. The Hows and Wheres:

1. Nanay Teresita’s version is what Maya considers to be the most romantic proposal. She even brought Richard to the location where her parents got engaged. But the only problem with this is that Tatay Arturo abandoned his family and to this day he is still a persona non grata to her mother-in-law. I am sure that there is an explanation for his sudden and unexplained disappearance. But to follow his footsteps does not bode well for a “happy ever after” love story for Richard and Maya. SIDE NOTE: My opinion on Tatay’s disappearance? He did it for a noble or heroic reason. He found out that he has a debilitating disease. He does not want to be a burden to the family. To spare them of the hardship that his medical condition will impose upon his young family, he decides to disappear. I believe that Nanay T knows how to choose who to love. She loved the right man and the right man chose the best decision he made, in his opinion, para sa ikabubuti ng lahat. I am still waiting for the Creative Team to tie this loose end: why did Tatay leave? Maybe in Book II that will be answered.

2. Mamang offers her surprise proposal done using an airplane, where one would fly around pulling behind the sign “Will you marry me?” Or Richard arranging for his proposal to be done in the air, in the flight that Maya will be assigned to. Wouldn’t it be cool to have Captain James Ventura be the pilot for the flight again? And the flight heads to San Nicolas again!

3. Dona Esmeralda shared how Don Roberto proposed to her at a Chinese restaurant using the fortune cookie. The funny thing is that she ended up with the fortune cookie that had the question “will you marry me?” ha ha

4. However, Raffi recommends that Richard not do it in a restaurant setting because according to her, it is so yesterday.

5. Nikki suggests that it should be done in a public venue where multiple cameras can capture the moment. What else can we expect from Nikki, she is after all a budding thespian.

6. I suggest that the creative writers take an inspiration from the flashmob proposal of Jamin, done in Downtown Disney, as he and friends dance to the tune of “Marry Me”. Yes you can google it if you want to see it for yourself. The production team can use the talent in dancing and music of the bagets in the West Teatro drama club and the Music and Sound club, combined. That way they can demonstrate their talents for all to enjoy. Thus far we only see them meeting. Time for them to show off their talents too.

I am sure that Richard will come up with his own romantic version of his proposal. Maybe he will go back to the grounds of PUS and propose to Maya under the stars there. Or he may take her on that dinner cruise, the aborted plan for their first date. Only, Richard will charter the whole ship so that it will only be the two of them on board.

When will he do it? Now that is the creative writers’ secret. That will be their surprise for all of us! Hahaha.

But Dona Esmeralda is right the Richard is conservative so Nikki’s idea will not work. And per Rafi, nothing common too….so I am guessing it might be in the most romantic place where Richard and Maya confirmed with each other “tayo na; as in you and me.”

Kute telling both Nanay Teresita and Mamang na dapat sa San Nicolas sila Richard mamanhikan……….ay ang bilis, mag-propopose pa lang eh…si Maya muna.

Mamang’s idea of a banner in the plane’s tail stating “will you marry” and or inside the plane where Richard will propose in front of the passengers

Winnie R OntiverosRichard apologizes to Maya for breaking their dinner date. He hands her the cake. She says thank you but Maya’s mind was saying something else. She looked at Richard sternly. Her mind thinks, “Maya are you going to fold right away? He gives you cake and you can’t say anything anymore?” Richard senses something odd. He asks if there is anything wrong? Maya said, “Nothing” but in her mind she wants to say “yes, I saw you with another woman earlier.” Instead Maya asked if he wanted coffee. Richard said yes and he sat back down at the table. Maya got a coffee cup and made Richard coffee making some casual conversation and asking him how his meeting went? It’s ok he said. She asked if Atty. Ryan and him finished all the contracts? Richard said yes. In Maya’s mind she is thinking that Richard is stubborn and continues to stand by his lies. She mixes the coffee and gave it to Richard. Richard took a sip of the coffee and just about spewed it out. Maya is obviously not very happy because she made a very brave coffee. (matapang na kape) Richard could feel she is still upset but he thought she is upset because he broke the dinner date. He gets up and faces Maya who is still looking stern. He said, “ok you are upset.” In Maya’s mind she wishes Richard would just tell her the truth. But instead Richard said he is going to make it up to her. She is still not happy. So Richard said she is “suplada” (snobbish or unfriendly). Maya almost slipped but stopped herself. Richard promised this would be the last time he would ever cancel dinner. (ummmm excuse me Richard. You may not be able to keep that promise because one day you will find another reason why you can’t make dinner. I’d take that back if I were you ha ha. But in fairness, Maya has never ever cancelled on you. She would make an excuse not to accept your invitation but she never cancels on you. Just saying.) Maya nods with a slight smile on her face. He tells her he loves her. Then he asked how Mamang is doing? Maya gives him an answer and Richard made her promise to give him an update as to the result of Mamang’s tests. Meanwhile, inside the room, Ehman’s ears were stuck at the door listening. Mamang and Nanay T waits for an update form him. Mamang asks what they are talking about. Ehman says it’s about her. Mamang reacted to that feeling special ha ha. Ehman said their conversation seems normal but he is still afraid that Maya would just suddenly blow up. (what???? Like a balloon? Ha ha…She can’t resist Richard’s charm ha ha Watch…just watch!) Richard said that Maya looked tired so he wants to say goodbye to everyone. Maya said she would let them know. He then surprised her with a kiss but Maya could not resist and she kissed him back (Waaaaaaa! I am so doing a Dorbel silent scream right now because my Ser Cheap is still sleeping ha ha) Maya momentarily forgot she is upset with him. She wipes the kiss off her mouth to cover up (bwahaha silly girl) Richard had this grin on his face. He knew Maya could not resist him. He said goodbye and turned around and left. Maya blushed and did a Dorbel silent scream while she checked to make sure Richard wasn’t looking. Ha ha She was so cute. (That was my most favorite part of the episode. I burned the rewind button on that one. )

At the mansion, Nikki and Luke talk about their Dad’s plan to remarry. Luke said he could fully understand his father. He didn’t want to grow old alone. Nikky tells him he won’t be alone because they are there. Luke explained that yes they are there but that eventually they will have a family of their own and may move away. It is better that someone is there for their father to go through life with. Nikki then recognized that fact that they are lucky that their father found the right person to love for their sake. Luke agreed. Then she said that she didn’t think she would be able to accept someone else to replace their mother. Luke said that their Ate Maya isn’t going to replace their mom. No one could replace their mom in their hearts but they could love Ate Maya just the same. (Awww I love this conversation. Luke is the voice of reason. He is really maturing right before our very eyes and I am so proud of him. He always had a soft spot in his heart for his Ate Maya.)

Winnie R OntiverosBack at the condo, Maya tells Mamang, Nanay T and Ehman that Richard didn’t tell her the truth. He continued his charade about meeting Atty. Ryan. The three had to tell her to calm down because they do not believe Richard is cheating on her. Maya didn’t even realize that even Ehman agrees with them. Mamang tells Maya that she is over acting and starts to laugh. Maya asked her why they are laughing at her? She thinks the reason why women are cheated is because they are very trusting and just let things go. She heads back to the room and said she will call Richard to get to the bottom of it. The three started to get frantic again to stop her. Ehman could no longer contain himself. He took the magazine and turned to the ad page. He points out the picture of Ms Abueg, tells Maya she is the best engagement ring maker in town and that Richard is about to propose to her….(Yikkkkes! Silent Scream alert) Maya looks at the picture and was dumbfounded. Nanay T covers her mouth because she didn’t get to stop Ehman.

Next time on BCWMH

Manang Fe tells Richard that she learned of his plans to propose to Maya. She tells him how happy she is for him. Richard hugs and kisses his yaya and tells her that this is it. (This scene really warms my heart. They soooo love each other.) Maya talks to Nanay Teresita about her feelings about Richard’s plan to propose. She said she is so blissfully happy but worries that she isn’t ready yet. (I am so happy Nanay T is there in person to talk to Maya about it because she needs her to keep her head straight.) Richard calls up Maya. He asked how she is. She said she is doing great. Obviously in high spirits, Richard asked her if she wants to go to dinner? Maya silent screams her excitement. Ehman reacts to it and said she needs to look at the food for Richard might place the engagement ring there. Mamang said maybe he would drop it in a glass or something. Nanay T tells her just beware for without warning he might just drop to one knee in front of her. Maya is overwhelmed by all these ideas and the proposal. (Weeeeeee! I can’t wait. I might need a brave coffee tonight so I could stay up to watch tomorrow’s epi without falling asleep.)

That was actor Tom Rodriguez’s quick reply when asked if he would be open to reprise his role in the hit daytime series “Be Careful With My Heart.”

The 25-year-old actor, who portrayed doting dad Jeff in the ABS-CBN “kilig-serye,” said he misses his co-stars in the daytime program.

“Miss na miss ko sila, ‘yung grupo, sina Aiza (Seguerra), sila Tita Sylvia (Sanchez), si Tita Divina (Valencia), si JM (Ibanez) ‘yung bata, lahat nakaka-miss. Kaya we try to keep in touch naman,” he told ABS-CBN News on Tuesday.

“Kaya lang ngayon dahil sa schedule, medyo araw-araw may work, minsan hindi maiwasan na we lose communication for a few weeks, pero we try naman,” Rodriguez said.

Cynch Honrado“Sabi ko na nga ba hindi mo ako matitiis” Richard sweetly said after he stole a kiss from Maya. The man is soooooo in love – imagine the spontaneous narrative of who Maya is as Richard sees her and how he loves her so. Ms. Abueg knows it and tells Richard that Maya is very lucky.

Emman is a true friend he had to make the choice of making sure that Maya did not harbor the wrong reasons for Richard not being up front with her about his fabricated meeting with Atty. Ryan. Since the woman was someone that triggered recognition from Emman, he got the connection when Mamang insisted that Richard does not have any other woman, he might just have met with someone who will handle the wedding, so Mamang spilled the beans to Emman that Richard was going to propose to Maya, which then triggered where and why he knows the woman who was with Richard – from a magazine ad showing Consuelo Abueg as the best engagement ring maker in town.

True to form, the writers have twisted the surprise, it is not Maya but Richard who will be surprised as now Maya knows. Mamang ang even Nanay Teresita plus Emman were guessing how Richard was going to propose.

The brother and sister conversation upstairs is so heartwarming. It is a manifestation of how Maya has touched each of them. Luke being the sensitive to the need of Richard having a “katuwang sa buhay” and being sensible by telliing Nikki that Maya will not be replacing their mother, but they can love her just the same. Nikki on the other hand has come to realize that she thought she would not be able to accept anyone, and she feels they (the children) are lucky and just grateful to her Dad that he fell in love with the right people (first their Mom, then now Maya). Abby not in the scene is a given as she has always wanted Maya to be her mother. Knowing Alexandra as her real mother who is already gone, Maya is the mother that she got to know and loved.

On Nikki’s explanation of why she does not want to be involved with Nicolo’s mtv, thank you Nikki, you are finally realizing how to work things out and talk to your inner self on what is the right thing to do……you are finally growing up and taking full responsibility for all your actions.

On the teasers, Manang Fe had to have her moment, sweet of Richard to kiss Manang Fe…….Maya is now sweet to Richard, she’s okay now, anticipating the proposal, but wait, the ring is not yet available, there will be another meeting with Ms. Abueg after her Europe trip…hay naku Maya go with the flow and just have faith in Richard being true to you.

Another long wait for the next episode……..

The former Kapamilya star was last seen as Jeff in “Be Careful With My Heart” in June, before he went on to star in the ongoing GMA-7 series “My Husband’s Lover.”

As Jeff, Rodriguez portrayed the father of Cho (Ibanez), whom he fondly calls “Junior Pards.” The boy is Jeff’s only son with Kute (Seguerra), his lesbian best friend who he “accidentally” slept with after a round of drinks in their younger years.

Rodriguez’s last scene as Jeff saw him saying goodbye to Kute and the rest of her family, as he prepared to leave for Dubai to become an overseas worker.

Asked Tuesday if he is open to being “reunited” with Seguerra in “Be Careful With My Heart,” Rodriguez said, “If I’m given a chance to get to work with them, in a heartbeat I would take it.”

He also expressed willingness to appear in the upcoming film version of “Be Careful With My Heart,” which will compete in the Metro Manila Film Festival in December.

“Sana. Ako, I haven’t heard anything yet, pero if ever naman… I love that team, that group kaya, in a heartbeat,” he said, when asked if he would want to join the big screen project.

Manang Fe saw from the very beginning the possibility of Maya becoming her charge’s better half. She wished and prayed for such a moment as this to happen. Zel MJo E sis, I will have to agree with you on Maya knowing the secret as it might just averted a much worse scenario should she wasn’t privy of why SC kept her out of the loop and even lied to her. I guess, the lesser catastrophe of knowing will be much palatable than a potential breakdown of understanding between the two.

I also agree with you on your take on RY’s acting ability. He had improved a lot in the pastyear, comparing it back to the start of the series, he is far better in his facial expressions, in the delivery of lines and he is much relaxed and spontaneous, the character becomes him, making it more believable.

Jo ELove this episode. I still think that Maya is better off knowing about the forthcoming proposal. She told Nanay T that she doesn’t think she’s ready. Now that she knows, she can get emotionally ready before Ser Chief pops the question. She also gets spared of the unnecessary suspicion and hurt if she didn’t know that Ser Chief was meeting the jeweler. So Emmy is actually an angel for telling her about the proposal.
It will be an exciting dinner, with Maya on the look out for the engagement ring. We know that Ser Chief is not proposing in the restaurant, besides he doesn’t have the ring yet, the restaurant will be too ordinary venue for his proposal. By the time Ser Chief proposes, Maya will be so ready that she will be anticipating for the event.
Richard Yap has become a very good actor. When he was telling Ms. Abueg why it’s different for him this second time he’s marrying, he can express his emotions, and he looked so handsome and happy.
Great job BCWMH team. You are all great and know how to keep our interest and love for this show. Some teleserye’s I want them to end, but BCWMH I never want to end.

Zel MToday’s episode is so heartwarming, touching and emotional as it is hilarious, funny and “feel good” from beginning to end. So many poignant scenes that tugs the heart and yet giving that roaring thunder of laughter as well. So what better way than to highlight those heartfelt scenes from the mother-daughter and mother-son conversations and give homage to the unconditional love a mother has for her child.

The relationship between a mother and her child is unparalleled and incomparable to any other relation known to mankind. A child bonds with his/her mother even before birth and all the more from the very first time he/she lays eyes on her… is touched by her… and cradled by her. The bond strengthens and intensifies as both mother and child spend boundless time together. The bond that a child develops with his/her mother can never be severed or disconnected. When a child is born the cord may be severed… but never in a mother’s heart for that bond lasts forever. And as the child grows up to become his/her own person, the child may come to forget or set aside the woman who nurtured and loved him/her but truth be told, a mother will never forget and will never stop loving her child.

So my take on today’s episode will be highlighted thru this nice poem as an inspiration.

A MOTHER’S WISH

How can I love my daughter and my son a little bit more?
How can I make my daughter and my son
to smile a little bit more?
How can I hold my daughter and my son in my arms
and they feel all of my love?
How can I make them more courageous
and not to fear their tomorrows’?

A mother’s love is selfless, giving and can never be replaced by anything else in this world. Nanay T, witnessing her daughter’s reaction of the biggest secret made known to her, could only hope the best for Maya. Nanay T, upon Maya’s recovery from the complete shock of knowing the impending proposal of SC, extended her listening ears and unwavering understanding of the events that had been unfolded to Maya. She kept nurturing Maya’s spirit, strengthening her soul by sharing her own experience so the anxiety will tone down, fears be lessened and giving her utmost guidance and undying love, reassuring her beloved daughter that no matter what, no matter her decision, the family will always be there for her, behind her in all her decisions.

In the same manner, DE was overflowing with happiness and had been grateful that once again her beloved son found that second chance at love and she was overjoyed of the fact that her Ricky fell in love again and will soon be getting that second chance not only at love but at marriage as well. For what mother would not want her son to be happy with the woman he loves.

This is my quest throughout the day
while I work, cook, clean, shop, and think:

A mother without doubt would always worry for her child any given day, whatever circumstances, whatever age for grown doesn’t mean nothing to a mother… for a child is a child is a child – they get bigger, they get older, they grow up, but to a mother’s heart that doesn’t mean a thing. For a mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity; it dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path. DE and Nanay Teresita including Mamang, joined forces, patched their differences for the love they shared for Richard and Maya and their desire for the happiness of these two beautiful people they had loved all their lives. For nothing would stand in their desire for these two to end up together so they will have that happiness both so deserve. These three matriarchs will do nothing to harm these two lovebirds and yet they will do anything and everything possible to make their dreams come true… for they will be behind them both all the way, every step of the way.

Zel MTo feel the joy of being a mother without mothering;
To feel the joy of being a teacher without teaching;
To feel the joy of being a friend without imposing friendship;
To feel the ultimate joy of knowing
that my daughter’s and my son’s dreams are fulfilled.

As Maya expressed her happiness and excitement at the thought of marrying SC, she couldn’t help but feel the anxiety, the fear, the uncertainty and the apprehension of her own readiness for such a life-changing event, of her dreams to give the best to her family and her own dreams. For while she was ecstatic, part of her had doubts if she’s indeed ready for marriage, ready to give up her dreams… asking herself if it’s too much too soon. Of which Nanay T, knowing fully well her daughter, understood her tears, her fears… calmed her down… comforted her… reassured her that while life may have other plans different from her own but what’s more important is what makes her happy in the end for what is her living a happy and contented life.

On the other hand, while Richard was anxious and concerned if the timing of his proposal is right for Maya, he thought of how her state of being might be, would she be ready at this point, would she welcome it with open arms… these thoughts were making Richard apprehensive of proposing at this time to his Mahal na Princesa. But with this apprehension, worry and hesitation, as much as he tried hiding it, he may just be as terrified of going thru the proposal not knowing for certain the answer Maya will give to his question, and not knowing for certain what the answer would be is eating him inside. DE, knowing fully well her son, as Nanay T had done, reminded him that it’s really not for him to decide but Maya…all she could do is be there for her son, reassure him, comfort him and gave him that warm hug and loving kiss that everything will work out just fine and offered her assistance for ideas for the proposal.

In the end, what DE and Nanay T only want the best for both Richard and Maya but most of all they want both to be happy, plain and simple. Thru it all, in whatever predicament the child may be in, a mother’s love is the most inexplicable love of all. She loves in spite of everything, hoping for the best till the last drop of life.

Sukiyaki 616Zel, this is a loving tribute to your Mom as I am sure you had her in your mind while pondering your POV and to all the other mothers. It heart to heart between Maya and Nanay T brought tears to my heart. Well done, Zel, hay naku, tinimbang ka ngunit sobra sobra pa!!

Awwwwwww, medyo may hesitancy si SC at Maya… may pangarap pa si Maya for her family, hindi nya daw alam kung napaaga ba ang pagdating ni SC sa buhay nya.

Winnie R OntiverosToday’s episode is so dang funny in so many parts and so many ways. I could relate to some scenes in our story specially the different proposal assumptions by Mamang and Ehman. Just recently a friend shared the story of her proposal and today’s episode reminds me so much of her story. It was fun and funnier for me because of that. I just love love love our story no matter if typhoon Maring and her strong winds do nothing but criticize it. Just saying.

Ehman couldn’t help himself. He blurted out that Richard is about to propose to her. While he realized that he just told Maya something that is supposed to be kept from her, he apologized for doing so but it’s too late. It had already registered in Maya’s confused mind. She was in a state of shock. Ehman, Mamang and Nanay T tried to talk to her but she just stared at nothing. She didn’t speak or react. Eventually she walked inside her room still shocked. Nanay Teresita couldn’t help but pinch Ehman on his ear. (ha ha) He really felt bad for telling Maya Richard’s plan.

Doris and Sabel who were in such good mood, meet Richard at the foyer. They asked if he were hungry, they would get something ready for him. Richard said he’s done eating. The two left the room all giddy and happy. Manang Fe came down the stairs and met him too. Richard asked her what happened to the two? Manang Fe said that they are just too happy because they learned about his plans to propose to Maya. She assured him that the two would not let Maya know about it. (Yeah sure Manang Fe. You know those two are lose lipped? They can’t keep a secret for nothing. That is because Maya is their hero and if she is going to marry the rich, good looking and “mabango” {smells good} boss of theirs, it is something to keep them wishing for a fairytale for them as well.) Richard just shrugged his head. Manang Fe told Richard that she is so happy for him. Richard walked toward her and gave her a kiss on her head and said “this is it Manang.” She is so proud of Richard. (This scene just warms my heart.)

Back at the condo, Ehman apologizes to Kute for blurting out the proposal secret to Maya. Nanay T is updating Kute. She told her that Maya is in a trance, not speaking and doesn’t seem to be herself. She has locked herself in her room. They tried to speak to her to no avail. Nanay T requested Kute to try to call her to see if she will talk to her instead. Kute promised she will but for now, she feels Maya may need time to think so they just need to leave her alone. Inside her room, Maya is looking over all the memorabilia she nicely kept in a scrapbook to remind her of her journey with Richard. Along with them are memories reminding her how it was at the beginning. She remembered the first peck on the cheek from Richard the night of the prom; how giddy she felt inside like floating on air. Then she remembered the time when Richard first asked her out on a date. It brought a smile to her face. Richard, at the same exact time is sitting at the veranda having his coffee. He too is thinking of Maya reminiscing moments that remains fresh on his mind. He takes a sip of coffee and remembers Maya pulling his hand and running to catch the Ferry for their dinner cruise. While running, she dropped her purse but they had no time so Maya orders him to hurry up and catch the boat and stop them from leaving while she picks up her things on the ground. He remembers Maya running behind her with only one shoe only to find that the Ferry had indeed left without them. Richard also remembered the day that Maya confirmed and that they are now a couple. They were at Nanay Teresita’s most romantic place. At the very same spot where Tatay Arturo proposed to Nanay Teresita is when Maya confirmed that she indeed wants to be Richard’s girlfriend. It was such a sweet memory (that even I am still giddy about it today) It left a big smile on Richard’s face. At the same moment, Maya closes her scrap book of memories of Richard but she began to think of her own personal memories as a tour guide in San Nicolas, as Abby’s Yaya during her plight to becoming a flight attendant, memories with Kute and Cho, Nanay T and Mamang vowing to stay together forever. (I remember all of them Maya. It was such a fun ride with you.)

Winnie R OntiverosNanay Teresita knocks at the door to check up on Maya. At the mansion, Dona Esmeralda joins Richard at the veranda. She tells Richard that she is so grateful that after all these years, he has fallen in love again. Richard asks her if she thought this is the right time for Maya? At the condo, Maya apologizes to Nanay Teresita for the way that she was earlier. Nanay T said she understands her. Maya tells her mother that she didn’t understand how she felt at first. She felt like she is going to burst in happiness but at the same time she became afraid. The thought of marrying Richard sounded so good but she isn’t sure if she is ready for it? After all, she hasn’t even toured the world yet. That is her dream. She tells her mother that when she left San Nicolas, she only thought of one thing…to become a flight stewardess and help support the family. She didn’t know that she is going to meet Richard. On the other hand, Richard tells Dona Esmeralda that he promised Maya that he isn’t going to rush her into anything. Richard acknowledges that Maya is just now starting her career and he knows what a marriage entails. Dona E said that in a marriage, the priority is family over career. Richard agrees. He said that is what Maya has been doing all her life. Richard worries that this proposal might be too soon for her. Dona E said that is why he has to ask her. Nanay Teresita asks Maya if she thought Richard came to her life too soon? Maya said she doesn’t know. Nanay Teresita tells Maya, “Sometimes, there are things that come into your life that are not part of your original plans. You are going to get married and have your own family. Then your priorities will change. Daughter, there are things that you need to sacrifice. I know you have a lot of dreams for our family but you have to think of what is for you…what is going to make you happy.” “It is not for you to decide whether Maya is ready or not. Only she can make that decision. And besides, to start a family does not mean she will have less time for herself and her family. You are not going to allow that right?” Dona E asks Richard. He replies, “Of course not.” “And if she decides that she isn’t ready yet because of her fears, then if you love her you would understand.” Dona Esmeralda further explains to Richard. Meanwhile, Maya tells Nanay Teresita that Richard has been confusing her. She tells Maya not to force a decision. It will come to her in due time. She will feel it when it happens. Maya is in tears. She asks her mother when her father proposed to her if she thought about it? Nanay Teresita answered honestly and said that she didn’t. At that moment all she could think of is that she loves this man and all she wanted to do is to be with him and love him for the rest of her life. (Waaaaa! Tissue alert) She said she did it. It happened. She just does not know why her father gave up. At this point Maya may fear that the same thing could happen to her. Nanay Teresita assures her this isn’t going to happen to her. Richard is never going to leave her. “How do you know?” Maya asked. Nanay T said because Kute will hunt him down. Maya laughed while she cried. At the mansion, Dona E stands up and gives Richard a hug and a kiss assuring him that things will work out for him. She tells him she has a lot of ideas for his proposal if he needs help. Richard said thanks. Dona E tells Richard she just wants him to be happy. Nanay Teresita said, “But Maya, in all seriousness…whatever happens…whatever your decision may be, your family is here for you.” (Wow wow wow…this is in the top of my most favorite scenes in the entire show so far. Their acting is superb. Thank you for the supporting roles of Sylvia Sanchez and Marissa Delgado. Their chemistry with Jodi and Richard are perfect. Kudos to the casting director.)

Maya’s reaction is just natural, masaya sya na medyo takot… ready na ba sya? ano ba dapat gawin nya? is it the right time? pero syempre NT is there to show support and told her to think of herself, kung ano magpapasaya sa kanya.

Kuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee….relax lang daw si Maya, baka daw mag-OO agad eh hindi pa nagtatanong si SC.

Good mood pareho ang dalawa…early morning call, about the dinner…ang mga audience, listening attentively glancing to each other… excited sa proposal.

I realized it is past midnight and i know the episode is probably already loaded but here i am. I want to read your post first and foremost and don’t want to miss it. I am glad I did because it is definitely worth the few minutes. Thank you for your pov. The mothers of this world indeed could be someone’s best friend and in times like the one that Maya and Richard are going through, it is nice to have that Mother that could be there with you through it all. As much as i understood every apprehension and tension that Maya is feeling, i did not think of what Richard could be worried about. I knew that he was worried that it may be too soon for Maya but i never thought that the uncertainty would make him nervous enough to do what he is about to do. I wonder if all man go through that feeling? That what if she said no? I didn’t even worry for Richard at all but I could only imagine.

At the same time though I know you would like to avoid him as much as possible but I think in this case you should help him even with Cheska in the picture. Just keep telling yourself that you’re doing this for Nicolo’s mom and not for him. That might make you calm enough and not go torete on him…lol.

G. IsaacsToo funny. That is Maya when she is nervous. That’s more like her typical hyperactive self. SC is so considerate and thoughtful to think if it’s too soon. Maya landed on cloud 9 and her dreams be dam***. She has always liked SC so I presume she will put her dreams aside for now and will be ok if it takes a detour for her SC. NT and DE are sweet mothers and on point. They exude happiness and gratitude. Better acting except SC is still a little uneasy looking people straight in the eyes. I like these roles for Maya ‘coz she is more natural in her being funny when anxious and nervous. As with SC, ride the wave na lang ako. I look at the picture on the website for the show and it reminds me of the dapper SC in his metallic suit. That was a reason why I started watching this show. I knew nothing about it before that. There’s not much the writers can do to twist the story because like Maya puts it “Sa hinaba haba man daw ng prosesyon, sa simbahan pa rin ang dating.” I must admit, I am pretty fond of the earlier episodes when it was so full of innocence and laughter. I watch those when I’m at an airport or bored or when I need to purge my closet. Young Maya did not have but a few set of clothes and was perfectly fine.

I have seen so many proposals around me both total surprises and some somewhat expected. Each one is a special as the other but man, people nowadays are really creative with their proposals. One young (college age) friend hired a videographer and photographer who had to be in hiding to capture the actual engagement and this happened on a university campus under an isolated tree with a swing far from anywhere anybody can hide (let alone take pictures and video). Well, it turned out great and the couple ended up in a bridal magazine for Tacori engagement rings as the best proposal ever. Who knew? Anyway, sorry for the side story.

I can’t help but ask, is Maya cheated of a once in a lifetime experience by knowing about the proposal? Yes, it is funny to watch all her misadventures and such but in all seriousness, would her reaction be priceless if she indeed was genuinely surprised? We’ll never know. All I know is it won’t matter after the fact.

Now that everyone knows that a proposal is impending, Richard’s every move is being scrutinized to the minutest detail. Everybody is eavesdropping on his telephone conversation to get a whiff of when he is going to pop the question and where he is going to do it. The entire Lim household is on their toes as they try to confirm his next move to ascertain when it might happen. Likewise the viewing community is collectively holding their breath in anticipation of the main event.

On the other hand, Maya is being coached to look out for the signs of when “IT” might happen.

1. Emman cautions her to be careful with her food so that she does not ingest the ring, just in case it is hidden in the food.

2. Mamang advises for her to be careful with the drink as he may drop the ring in it.

3. Nanay Teresita tells Maya to be on the lookout for Richard’s move. She informs the latter that when Richard will drop down on his knees, this is the sign that he will definitely ask her the most awaited question of the week, if not her life.

With Maya knowing that Richard will propose to her, she finds it impossible to relax. Consequently, she is so nervous, high strung, excited, and anxious. Her senses are calibrated to high alert. She feels that she is so ready and so aware of the telltale signs of when IT might happen that her reaction time is keyed to snap at the slightest hint that it is forthcoming. It is so hilarious to watch her examine her food to look for the hidden treasure buried within. At the condo, Sir Chief had to get down on the floor to pick something up and Maya immediately assumes that he is going on his knees to propose. Hence, she excitedly exclaims in rapid fire response her positive answer to a question that has not even been asked yet! It is such a hysterical scene!

The brilliant writers of this drama who are aware that its viewing public vicariously experience their emotions through Maya has effectively got them exactly where they can manipulate their reaction to the scenes the actors are portraying. They are so successful that even the subscribers to this drama who has just been contented to silently watch from the sidelines now feel compelled to share their positive reaction to the episodes. Such clever manipulators! They are so skillful and shrewd in their tasteful maneuvers in playing with their emotions.

Another brilliantly plotted episode. Bravo production team! But please be careful with our hearts! Dahan dahan lang baka maraming aatakihin sa puso sa mga pinaggagawa niyo. Hahahahaha.

Actually okay lang yun kasi you are actually giving our hearts its much needed aerobic workout! The torete scenes with Maya enduces just the right aerobic exercise so that we can consider it to be a laughing yoga session. Hahahahaha.

So, I think cake yung isang na-SOCO ni Maya.Then, hatid na sa condo sa may harap ng elevator…paglingon ni Maya, medyo nakaupo or luhod si SC, so obviously (for me) may pinupulot or something pero kay Maya, akala nya proposal na, and then mega-YES ang prinsesa.

Ano kayang pasabog ni singkit? Lakas kutob ko na pati tayo gugulatin sa style ng proposal nya.

Napatakip ako ng mukha sa pag-YES ni Maya, dyahe much ako for her nakakaloka talaga ang show na ‘to.

Excited din ako kung paano sya lulusot dyan… but I’m sure may maiisip yan… trained naman sya nung nasa mansyon pa sya eh… hindi sya nauubusan noon ng palusot kay SC nya.

I don’t know if I’d wish for SC to remain dense or for him to have a clue that Maya knows.If he remains oblivious, ang saya lang ng hula game ni Maya!

But if he’ll have an idea, he can change plans pa and make it as bongga as ever. He doesn’t have to fear rejection cause technically Maya already said yes.

My whole week is so much more fun dahil sa episodes nila!

Nag replay ako ng episode today…ngayon ko lang napansin na kinurot ni NanayTeresita si Emman sa tenga! Hahaha… buti nga sa kanya.

Nakita ko na naman yung Yes ni Maya sa teaser, hiyang hiya na naman ako.Pilyo pa naman si SC, simpleng mang-asar.

Naalala ko yung scene na hinati ni SC yung sandwich. Akala ni Maya para sa kanya yun pala ipapatago lang baka pati proposal aabot pa ng isang buwan na puro hopia!!!! Pati tayo neto magiging aligaga na kagaya ni Maya!!! Kung sa Resorts World nga ang proposal, parang simple dinner lang naman ang setting!!!

Even the serious parts of the episode today is tamed but it hit the spot perfectly. I teared up at Maya and Nanay T’s conversation and for the first time, Dona Esmeralda is effective in her guiding Richard. Much like what Manang Fe would do, she gave him assurance that what he is doing is the right thing. Does she know what Maya’s answer would be? No she didn’t but she encouraged him anyway because she said it is why it is a proposal. He will have to ask that question to Maya. Ang galeng talaga. Tank you sis for your summation and no argument from me. Luv yah.

JR RHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…naunang mag yes si Maya before SerChief’ even uttered the magic words….HINIMATAY AKO sa TAWA MUNTIK NANG MALAGLAG SA KAMA KO…..HAHAHAHA. It is highly unlikely that the proposal took place at the condo’s lobby. It’s not gonna happen this week. You’re right, the progress of the relationship is certainly coming along, therefore, we can also see the progress in which they show their affection into somewhat a more comfortable level as well as the frequency of the kisses. I guess we just have to savor every moment while it lasts. Another good thing about this show is that kahit paulit-ulitin mong panuorin, andun pa rin ang kilig, kaba, inis, lungkot, tuwa at kung-anu-ano pang damdamin… so this would sustain us pag dumating na yung panahon na yun.

I’m just so glad however that ABS-CBN management is seriously considering options as to how they can make this show last ‘forever’. (Believe me, they do and we know this naman.) We also know ‘forever’ is just a figure of speech (siyempre, hindi naman immortal ang cast kahit ano pang gawing extension sa show ), but I know that they really mean to make BCWMH an iconic show in Philippine television (and as it is now, iconic nanaman talaga!).

The mother-daughter and mother-son scenes are so apt……both show the best of both mothers; Nanay Teresita with all out support, telling Maya that what is important is her happiness and her family is just there for her and Dona Esmeralda being grateful and happy that Richard loved again and telling Richard that only Maya can answer if she is ready or not and if she is not ready, if Richard really loves Maya, he will understand.

Kute telling Maya to calm down as she might say yes even if Richard has not asked her yet…….OMG, on the teaser it would seem Maya did say yes….but wait, is Richard really proposing?????? Or because of the anticipation of the proposal, Maya is oblivious of anything else except the proposal, distracted too much……aligaga????? , but that’s a teaser and there are omitted scene(s) to complete the scenario that will mislead us viewers – the writers are so good they’ve really got us guessing even if we do not want to. I guess Richard’s statement of “nothing comes according to plan with regards to them” is true.

How nice that Dona Esmeralda is reaching out, and thank God Mamang even in jest is also being nice. Dona Esmeralda having Manang Fe with her for the visit is touching. Now they are ka-pamilya!

Edz is being teased, but Maya is preoccupied with SC, so she has not connected Simon’s statement yet…..though she absorbed the gist of the conversation of her fellow FA’s……I am still hoping that Maya will be the bridge for Simon and Edz.

Richard compliments Sabel for the omelette…….the result of Sabel’s culinary lessons. Even in past episodes, Manang Fe has complimented Sabel for the food she cooks for the family. Even with baking, she has helped Nikki, giving pointers of what she has learned in school. Good job Sabel!

Now Nikki is feeling guilty….what are you going to do Nikki, you still have the chords for the Terrified song that you arranged for Nicolo’s music video. Will you decide to help now that you know it is for Nicolo’s mother?

I hope if Luke helps Nicolo, the mtv will not be disqualified because they are batch-mate unless it is just arranging and not part of the mtv.

Jo EThis episode is full of love between mother and daughter and mother and son. The talk between Maya and NanayT and Ser Chief and DonaE is so heartwarming. Ser Chief hugging and kissing Manang Fe is so touching. Maya and Ser Chief are so lucky to have mothers that love them unconditionally and act as their sounding board. They are there to listen, support and give them advise.
Emman telling Maya about Ser Chief’s proposal is a blessing in disguise because Maya is given a chance to acclimatize herself with the idea and talk to NanayT about her fears and dreams not coming to fruition if she get’s married. She’s given time to think of her priorities and how much she loves Ser Chief.
In the end she is so ready to say Yes even though Ser Chief hasn’t utter the words yet. It is so funny, she’s already saying Yes, and Ser Chief is probably picking up a loose coin or tying his shoe lace. Kute was right when she told Maya not to get so excited because she might say yes before Ser Chief proposes.
Mamang and DonaE are so sweet, their animosity towards each other forgotten because they are going to be one family. The Lim and delaRosa household are all united as one family for Ser Chief and Maya.
Thank you so much BCWMH team for bringing us another episode that reminds us to love and care for our family. And for triggering poignant memories.

Winnie R OntiverosLater that evening, Maya keeps tossing and turning. She couldn’t sleep still thinking about Richard and the proposal. At one point, she stops to think about the future. She listened to her voice say her name Maya de la Rosa Lim (Weeeee! Sounds good to me.) It made her smile. The following day, Leno asked Kute what the fuss was all about Cho becoming a ring bearer. Kute shrugged him off and wanted him to stay off their business. He was insistent and continued to follow Kute around while she calls up Maya. Over the phone they do their sisterly talk. Kute made Maya promise that Cho will be the ring bearer. Maya said he hasn’t asked yet. Kute tells her not to worry it is going to happen. Maya tells her she is worried that she is going to faint specially after she heard what happened last night. Maya assured her that was just temporary insanity ha ha Kute warns Maya to please keep herself in check. She might say “yes” even before he actually pops the question (ummm Kute you are a fortune teller are you?) Leno overheard this and started to go ape sh** over the thought that Maya is getting married. Bugoy, eavesdropping in the background hid behind the wall scared of Leno seemingly about to do “huramentado” (go berserk, possessed, run amok) Maya hears this and asks what’s happening? Kute tells her it’s Leno going ape crazy ha ha

At the mansion, Richard seems to be in high spirits. At the breakfast table with his parents and kids, he asks for the omelet. He gives himself a huge helping and started to eat as if he’s famished. (He ate like my boys, pieces of rice flew all over the place) Richard asked Sabel if she cooked the omelet. She said yes. Richard said that it tastes good. Luke notices and whispers to Nikki that if she needs anything, now is the time to ask his Dad. She looks at Richard and smiles. Richard takes a big gulp of his coffee and then he excuses himself from the table. Everyone was quietly observing him. He walked a few steps over the other side of the divider. He calls up Maya. Meanwhile, at the condo, the four are also eating breakfast. Maya is now in good spirits. She was chewing and daydreaming. Mamang was talking behind her back to Nanay Teresita and Ehman but I couldn’t make out what she is mouthing off. For the most part, they just sit there observing Maya. Suddenly, Maya’s phone rings. Still daydreaming, she answers the phone not knowing who is on the other line until she hears Richard’s voice. “Ser Chief?” she said. Her demeanor changed. Richard asked how she is this morning? Maya answered that she is just fine. During this conversation, everyone at both houses is listening. Richard tells Maya that she didn’t look ok last night. Maya told him she’s fine now. Richard proceeds to ask her if she wants to go out tonight to dinner. Dinner? Maya said. Ehman reacts loudly. Nikki, Luke and Abby got excited. “Yes” Richard said. “I want to make it up to you over what happened last night. Are you doing anything?” Everyone eavesdropping is excited by this time. They almost couldn’t contain it. Maya said, “No I am free. Where are we going to have dinner?” Richard said, “I was thinking some fine dining.” There was another reaction from both groups. “Fine dining?” Maya asked. “Where?” Richard said he will be in charge of the arrangements and he will see her later. They hung up the phone.

Ehman screams. (uh oh, here comes Ehman again with his ideas ha ha oftentimes he is “sablay” {he misses}…) He tells Maya to make sure to check the food. Maya asks why? He thinks Richard might put the ring on the food. (Bwahaha this sooooo reminds me of my friend. But she had no idea so she didn’t inspect the food. Thank goodness the ring wasn’t there.) Mamang pipes in and said he could put the ring on the drink. What? Maya asks again. Ehman warned her that if she isn’t cautious, she might gulp down the ring (Oh my G then Maya will be choking ha ha) Nanay Teresita thinks Richard doesn’t go for gimmicks like that. She thinks he will suddenly just get down on one knee. Ehman continues the thought that Richard will then serenade Maya while proposing. He is so excited he is clapping on his seat (bwahaha I soooooo love Ehman even though I want to “kutos” him sometimes. {kutos means giving a knuckle blow on the head} ) Maya just couldn’t get over the possibility of a proposal from Richard. She is excited.

Winnie R OntiverosAt the high school, Nikki gets a text from Nicolo begging for her help with the music video. Nikki was inside the library and when she was about to reply to the text, Amiel sees her and warns her that she is not allowed to use the cell phone in the library. Nikki still has not warmed up to Amiel. At the university Louie asks Luke where Nicolo is? He tells him he’s outside texting Nikki begging for help with the music video. Louie said that Nicolo only wanted to make a good music video because he wants to impress Cheska. Luke corrected Louie and told him that Nicolo’s video is also for his Mom. “You know he is a Momma’s boy” Luke said. They both laughed. At Time Airways, the boy FA’s were talking to the girl FA’s. They are telling Edz that she is once more “single and ready to mingle” again. They want to know if they could fix her up with some of their friends. (Nooooo! Stop it boy FA’s! She is touch move for Simon!) Edz said no. She isn’t interested. The others agree. They think that sometimes it is good to remain single…right Maya? They directed the question to Maya because she is daydreaming again. (While the others are thinking single, Maya is thinking getting hitched ha ha) She suddenly snaps out of it. The girls asked her if she heard what they were talking about? Maya said yes, it about fixing Edz up with someone. Edz said no. She does not want to. They all laugh.

At the mansion, Dona E is preparing the food supplements and fat burners to take to Nanay Teresita and Mamang. She is trying to wrap it in ribbons and in to a nice bag. She is trying to reach out to NT and M to Don R’s surprise. She is taking Manang Fe with her. (Another point to DE for she really keeps reaching out to the de la Rosas) Meanwhile, Mamang and NT are walking back to the condo. NT told Mamang that she is going to have to take her medicine in front of her per Kute this way they are sure that she is indeed taking her pills. Mamang agreed to NTs surprise. Mamang said she wants to get better in preparation for Maya’s wedding. Suddenly, DE arrives with Manang Fe. They said their hellos and DE and Mamang kissed one another. They are obviously burying the hatchet for the sake of Richard and Maya. They both acknowledged that they know about the proposal and they are happy that they will become a blended family. They happily walk together upstairs.

Nikki arrives home and surprised to find Luke. She thought he had a meeting with the M&S group? He tells her they allowed them time to practice individually instead. Nikki tried to see if Nicolo was with him. Luke tells her he was supposed to but Nikki never responded to his text messages so he didn’t come. Nikki said, “Why would I want to help him to impress Cheska? He isn’t you Kuya.” Luke explained to Nikki that Nicolo wanted to make the music video perfect because he wanted to give it to his mom as a gift. His mother happens to be Nicolo’s biggest fan and she watches his videos when she is feeling homesick while she is abroad. That information seemed to tug at Nikki’s heartstrings. She became solemn. Maya didn’t answer right away. Edz noticed and asked her what’s going on? She seems distant and distracted. Maya didn’t say anything. She looked at the text message on her phone. It is Richard saying he is waiting outside. Maya walks out and she sees Richard standing there. She stops and stares at him for a moment. Could is the man that she is going to marry?

At the restaurant, Maya continues to be distracted thinking of what Ehman, Mamang and Nanay Teresita were saying about the proposal. At one point she excuses her self to the restroom. She needed to self talk because she is losing her mind. At the condo, Nanay Teresita is heard telling everyone that maybe Richard isn’t proposing just yet. Mamang tells her to think positive. Dona E says she is just guessing. She really does not know. Meanwhile, Maya is checking the sushi for sign of the ring. (Ha ha this cracked me up. You are so silly Maya) At one point, Richard calls Maya and said, “Will you…” Maya reacts to this. She is ready. “…tell me about Mamang?” Richard said. Maya’s face soured. (ha ha I am ROFL) In the next scene, Maya is talking to Nanay Teresita. She tells her that maybe he isn’t going to propose just yet. So it appears that Maya has reserved the thought of the proposal for now. She is seen talking away and in good spirit walking out of the restaurant ahead of Richard. When she turned around, she sees Richard down on the floor. He looks up to her and said “Maya…” She looks down and all of a sudden she jumps up and down and said “Yes my Ser Chief Yes Yes Yes” Bwahahahaha!

Nanay Teresita is the prefect Nanay in the whole wide world. She’s so sweet in the way she explains Maya. But I do have my resevations about Maya getting married right away without actually enjoying her single status. She hasn’t fulfilled her longlife dreams yet of touring around the world with her family. I hope she will still be able to do it before she finally ties the knot because when she get married, all her priorities will be shifted to her new family.

Kay Amorthis episode brought me again mixed emotions…but i was in tears most of the time..specially yung usapan ng mag inang maya ang NT. each time NT speaks,it is so full of emotions that it made me cry..(galing talaga ni sylvia sanchez).

Doris and Sabel were acting strangely or not their usual self when they greeted SC. SC wondered what it is all about. Manang Fe was delighted to see Richard and was happy for him on his life changing decision “This is it Manang” as SC kissed her. What a poignant moment between her charge and former yaya.

NT was not able to stop Emman from blurting the SC’s secret Maya went into a trance after Emman told her, SC is about to propose to her. Everyone around Maya was so concern on her welfare. She was in a state of shock. Mamang asked Kute to call Maya she might be able to bring Maya back to earth. Kute will call Maya later giving her more time to think things through.

Maya and SC are reminiscing different milestones of their relationship; first kiss on prom night, SC asked Maya out on a date for the first time, on their first date they missed the dinner cruise, tayo na /you & me” moments give me the chills, goose bumps and super kilig to the bones all roll into one..

NT and Dona E each has heart to heart talk to Maya and SC, respectively. SC was concern about Maya she might not be ready. He promised her he would not rush her. She just started her career. Dona E let SC know Maya is the only one who can decide if she’s ready or not. And if Maya is not ready because of fears, SC should understand her. On the other hand, NT told Maya she is the only one who can decide where she would be the happiest or where her choice of priority lies.

At breakfast table Maya was in cloud nine when SC called. SC was in 8th heaven mode inviting Maya for a fine dining to make up for his cancelled dinner date with Maya. The audiences on both ends of the lines are eavesdropping on lovebirds’ conversation. Everyone is thrilled anticipating that this will be the “proposal day”. As soon as SC hung up the phone, Emman screamed at the top of his lungs. He reminded Maya to watch what she eats because SC may put the engagement ring in between food. Team Maya stated different scenarios of proposal that could happen. That triggers Maya’s high anticipation to that magical moment. This is not good baka ma HOPIA si Maya. Remember the ring, SC just gave the specification to Ms. Abueg. Then again who knows someone could have pulled some string to make the ring agad agad.

Finally, Kute and Maya talked. Being nervous and excited, Maya fears she could faint if SC pop the question. Kute warned Maya out of her nervousness and excitement Maya could say YES before SC can express his proposal. At the “teaser” SC is on his knees. He may have dropped something or tying his shoe lace not really proposing. That is how it looks like. It would be very embarrassing if that is the case

tulala, tuliro, and confuse (some mild zombies would likely to review their
slam book to find some connections to the real world. i wonder how many
zombies out their after knowing that they have just been proposed.

to be in paradise island like hawaii,aloha maya! where people spend their time
basking in waikiki beach. to japan, the homeland of engineer yamaguchi.
to china where most of her household items have the label made from china

it is nice to know that donya esmeralda and donya conchita come to term to
each other. they should realize that they would soon be “kapamilya” and any
kind of discussions are not beneficial to the would-be in laws. but most
important is to stop bashing each other and once and for all stop their
comparison regarding the pork barrel issue.

touching moments.
when mother theresa assured maya that whatever happens, they would always be by
her side. that could only mean that if ever sir chief will have cold feet,
and decide to postpone the wedding qouting his favorite line like
“i am sorry maya, something came up.” nice to know then that they are always
there no matter what. kapit bisig.

sleepless night of maya:
about what would happen if he is going to propose to her and be his wife.
she keeps repeating herself whether she would get use to her new name,

mrs. maya lim for short and she doesn’t even look like a chinese lady.
and for sure she has to get use of eating the chinese noodle from chow king.

the dinner invitation from sir chief.
exciting for her. this is the first time that sir chief bringing maya to the
fine dining. and fine dining includes a nice expensive wine and we know that
maya is an expert already after being so drunk during their training in wine
tasting class.
by now, she would know the difference between red and white wine. and to
drink in moderation. she would not like herself vomiting on sir chief
before he would say “will you marry me?”

the lady in red.
wow, what a beautiful dress maya’s wearing before the moment of the unsurprised
proposal. she was beautiful indeed. no wonder sir chief is head over heels in
love toward maya’s simple but elegant beauty.

finally, tomorrow, we will see how mahal na hari kneeling before mahal na princesa
and asking her hand in marriage. (i will tell my children to cook for their own
dinner because i am very busy and i will not entertain any distractions)
